Hevn nods graciously accepting his rum. Downing his as well he places it back on the desk.
It was hard to say what bothered Xeonon. The use of his name meant something new had developed. There had been blood, destruction, and damage to each of them physically. Was it the Reavers? Faust Skirata? Was it Hevn or Alkor? No that couldn't be. It had to be something new. It occurred to him that Xeonon indicated he was no longer hiding. It was far more likely than Solomon warming up to him after all.
Hevn's face contorts in thought. His eyebrows rise in question as it comes to him.
"How did they find you? If you took on the Eye nothing you saw on Muunilinst was new. It had to be the Knights. "

When we first met you said you wanted to take revenge on three worlds. Even though you dont need my blessing, I ensured that Kuat was ready for attack. I contacted one of the few people who knew I was alive and asked for them to meet me on Muunilisnt, the planet was ripe for the picking and would be a far better replacement than any he could find.
Pouring another glass he put the stopped on top of the Whiskey
Dont worry they don't know why they left only that I told them to. Things went South fast and I killed ten of my former comrades to save my own skin while stopping a cancerous rot from the inside of the Knights.
Chuckling to himself his face became very serious. The kind you would give to a businessman while talking about each others company, or two rival diplomats who are meeting to sign a peace treaty. It seemed every time the two of them met Xeonon showed the man a little but more about himself, not by choice but because of the energy Hevn radiated. It just brought out all the darkness from people around him.
Sorry. Its all water under the bus. They dont know about you or the others who were there, they think I single orchestrated the whole just to further the evil in the universe and I say let them. Itll be some months, maybe a year before they do anything I killed the most experienced Knights save one.
Of course he could be wrong and they could show up on his doorstep at any moment. Hence the hiding deep in the Anoat field.
Where is Kali?

Kuat vulnerable for striking? How the dominoes fell in the favor of those who willed it! An exciting surprise. What Solomon took all for grim tidings seemed to Hevn to be a success.
Crossing one knee over the other Hevn savored a second taste of burning amber in his glass.
"If you slashed enough throats in one altercation to delay them a year, then perhaps we should be discussing how to cripple the Knights for good, rather than how long it will take them to recover. Will the Emperor truly throw all his lives away in pursuit of a single man? Their laws do not extend their jurisdictions and perhaps they need a bloody reminder of it."
A hatred burst forth in his aura. A bitter contempt for the Knights arose fiercely. The contortion of rage fades from him finally and Bedrovelse pauses to give Xeonon a careful look in response to his question.
"Kali is safe. Hidden until things calm down, and she is stronger."

It is damn near impossible to kill an idea Bedrovelese. Palpatine found that out the hard way, try as he might he could not kill off all the Jedi. Its the same thing here, you cant kill the Imperial Knights unless you expunge all evidence they ever existed. Even if it got down to one left they would still rebuild. Antares before his death flooded the HNN with videos of the Imperial Knights and once its out there you cant get it back.
Shaking his head he looked down at his lap.
No Delvaradus wouldn't waste resources like that, not now that he has disbanded the Empire. However one of the Knights to survive the attack will single mindlessly hunt me down and throw everything he has at his disposal at me. Force users have always been above the government. Look at you, look at me.
Arching his eyebrow at the anger he wondered what had caused it to flair.
Good keep her training in whatever hole you have her in.
Despite no longer being an Imperial Knight in the eyes of all he still had allegiance to them. Training and brainwashing was hard to break. Sure on a small scale it was easy, in a sense he had been preparing for the day for years even before the attack on Prakith. However preparing for the eventuality and actually doing it were two different things and the idea of doing it sickened him.
Delvaradus moved to Muunilsint, seems we inspired him to move in in the power vacuum there. So really beyond that world his words mean nothing and striking him there would do nothing but bring more hardship to the Muuns.

Give a wizard a laser sword and shit gets way out of hand.
Hevn nods along as Solomon makes his argument. A good one at that. It was not Bedrovelse's usual self to let himself mirror Xeonon's despairing look.
"Bring order to chaos and sprinkle a little savior on it."
Hevn mocks Delvaradus's maneuver with pinched twisting fingers over his drink. A spiteful grin flashing over his lips as he drank from it.
"What good would it do to defame the Imperial Knights? If you were to publicly report that the Knights forced you to attack Muunilinst with a group of nearly random mercenaries so they could swoop in and take over. Might salvage your reputation and rally some support to you. I see it doing little good however if it is true the Empire is disbanded."
Hevn considers the topic painfully for another moment.
"What idea is it that compels these Imperial Knights?"

He had to laugh at that question. What did the Imperial Knights believe in?
Thats the thirty six thousand credit question isnt it. The Imperial Knights arent as idealistic as the Jedi or materialistic as the Sith. To break it down to the basics we are, they are glorified body guards. They were created to serve the Fel Emperor and all their descendants. Since the last know one died... almost forty years ago its been a right pain in the ass since he died.
It was great when the Cade had returned from the unknown regions. Fel had taken the reigns from his late uncle after the family was thought dead. He had arrived late from the war due to a damaged hyperdrive, ironically enough it was determined that he died due to a damaged hyperdrive. After that the Imperial Knights followed Xeonons lead as he stylized them into a fighting force who served the light. As deadly as the Sith and as pure as the Jedi.
Seeing as Delvaradus is no Emperor anymore it will be interesting to see what happens. Presumably they will still follow him and his lead but now Im sure there will be more autonomy. It would be a real killer for morale if he was to be killed.
Despite going out of his way to save the man and take him out of Kuat his past loyalties were ebbing by the second. He had a year to figure something out give or take a few months.

Hevn's mouth opens to issue a cross between a grunt and sigh. His eyes dart down to the table for a moment as he digests the worst case scenario, in his own mind at least.
"I find the scope of that vision painfully limited, and far beneath the man I see sitting before me. Cheers."
Hevn refills their glasses and raises a toast.
"May the force set you free Xeonon."
This man had charisma, and cunning. Perhaps it took time and experience to acquire those traits, or perhaps those traits were already part of the man. The makes of a leader, and while perhaps among his men he was a leader, it was always under the foot of a spoiled usurper. It was a Knight's duty to obey command. It was a Sith's duty to strike down the unworthy from their posts.
Hevn drains the glass and sets it down..
"What I do respect is control. What these Imperials lack in passion, they must compensate for in discipline and strength. I sense this means being hunted by one is nearly as serious as being sentenced to death by Alkor, or myself."
Hevn could not hide the thought of murder from his face. A distant grin washing over him as he ponders it.
"Naturally this belief system means Delvaradus is protected around the clock wherever he goes? Unless we take him out in public and survive the chaos and backlash."
Though Hevn's eyes light up, his grin fades to a plain scowl. Focusing on Solomon the light fades.
"Would killing him suffice? Is it not their way to choose another to protect and serve? Difficult indeed after the blood line was cut I am sure. I have seen my own Order crumble under the weight of it's own code. Trying to adhere to something so rigid when the force is so fluid. It changes us with every moment passing as we move forward into its embrace. I do not see your old comrades making the choice to find their own meaning, rather than one as a whole."
Hevn narrows his eyes and smirks at Solomon.
"Did you make your great sacrifice to save the galaxy, or escape your fate?"

Pouring himself another glass he tipped it towards to Hevn before taking a sip and placing it back down.
For a time that was me, and then the last Fel died and I had to lead a crumbling Empire. Had to learn real quick.
Being hunted by an Imperial Knight is like having an Inquisitor hot on your tail. They are always right on your tail and ready to strike you down. The ultimate threat comes from one who was cross trained hunting force users. When Xeonon had taken control of the Knights it had seemed like a good idea to make sure the Knights were proficient in more than just lightsaber combat. Some like himself had taken it upon themselves to learn the delicate art of hunting elusive prey. That or being hunted by a Terminator.
I mean I know there is a distant relative out there, or there was. A smuggler I brought in once had the last name Fel but even if he was one of the Fels he shunned that name long ago. Its true they are to rigid but look at me, I managed to change. All it took was being bisected and dead for a few years.
Laughing at his own joke again, he found himself in a boisterous mood. Maybe instead of sulking and licking his wounds alone he should be out there doing stuff. No better way to take your mind off things than doing other things.
Its doable, it would take planning and after what happened on Muunilisnt he will have more security than ever but its possible. Backlash is nothing, in those circles I am already a traitor and wanted dead or alive. Whats a little Regicide on top of my already terrible crimes?
Saving the galaxy is not possible, hell its always moving towards entropy. For a while he had worked to make it a better place under the pretense of orders and doing the right thing. Killing hundreds for the greater good. It took far to long to realise murder was murder no matter the reason and you might as well benifit from it.

Sipping his drink Hevn nods along at Xeonon's first remark.
"Leadership is certainly a burden most arduous. I wonder if it was cowardice, wisdom, or blood that kept the Fel clan so far from their namesake Empire."
At Solomon's chuckle at death Bedrovelse found himself mimicking in a deeper tone.
"Do you remember any among you who may see things as you do now? Someone you could use as an ally? Someone you could covert to spying or assisting?"
Then the heaviest subject was upon them. Hevn had to give it to Xeonon that he did well to sprinkle humor on his legacy.
"Muunilinst is still in utter chaos. If you would attack him there instead of on the move, would not now be the ripest of moments?"

*The Reliant dropped out of hyperspace and slowly drifted towards the planet. The blues and whites of the planet below filled the cockpit.*
"What a horrible little ball of ice and snow." *Shay exclaimed as he stared at the planet in front of him. He adjusted the ships trajectory to keep them from coming in at a poor angle.*
"Yeah, well. Few people would go here willingly. Besides, if we want paid, then we have to go here willingly." *Jonas patted Shay on the shoulder then stepped out of the cockpit, leaving the younger man to grumble by himself. The floor shook beneath his feet as the vessel headed planetside.*

A CR-12 Corvette "Freelancer" drops from hyperspace, at the helm is former Imperial Intelligence Officer and now Captain of the "Freelancer" Franklin T. Shelby. One of the men responsible for the discovery of Echo Base years ago.
"Scans show no signs of recent activity Cap'n."
"Set us down near the rear hanger and ready the probe droid."
"Aye Cap'n."
With that the "Freelancer" begins it's final approach and enters the frigid atmosphere of the planet below. [/span]

Continued from here... The Helix-Class Light Interceptor exited hyperspace above the frozen wasteland of Hoth. Continued from here... The OSV Agincourt, a Normandy-Class Stealth Frigate SR-2 exited hyperspace above the icy world of Hoth. The ship's pilot spoke up as Vao was monitoring comm chatter in system."All systems nominal. Got anything there, Boss?"Grunting in acknowledgement, the Twi'lek replied to the pale-skinned Nikto."Automated distress beacon. Somewhere on the surface. I'll see if I can't clean up this garbage and pinpoint and exact LZ for us."Nodding, Forlok pushed several buttons and gripped the controls, pushing the craft closer to the planet...

As the OSV Agincourt drifted down into low orbit, Vao spoke to Forlok, the pale-skinned Nikto pilot.
"Cleaned 'er up. Got a location. Keep the engines hot. We'll be back in a few hours."
Climbing out of his seat, the Twi'lek made his way down from the cockpit to CIC. Walking past the holodisplay of the ship and the galaxy map, Vao entered the turbolift and rode it down to the hangar level. Exiting the lift, he was greeted with the sight of his team doing one last inspection of their gear and prepping the shuttle. Hopefully this would be a milk run. Especially since the facility had been offline for so long, and the fact that it was on Hoth. Both of those facts added up to a good possibility of nothing being left aside from maybe some data. And data extraction was easy. Grabbing his gear back and going through it, the Twi'lek ensured that he'd be ready to go down to the surface too.

Damron made himself familiar with the Normandy-Class ship as they traveled to Hoth. He had become familiar with its layout and most importantly, it's systems. Much of his time poking around in its digital security he had upgraded where he could and streamlined the rest be removing redundant codes. Sure it would save them microseconds, but when it came to digital warfare, that's sometimes the difference between all clear and your ship venting contents into space. Eventually he made his way down to the cargo bay as Hoth came into view on one of the screens.
That's the biggest hunk o' ice I've ever seen. I mean, we've all seen the propaganda vids from the old Empire, but nothing prepares you for how... white it is.

As the envirosuit wearing Zeltron joined them in the cargo bay, Vao chuckled to himself. Ensuring his DL-44s were strapped securely in their double holster on his left side, he plucked the DC-15s sidearm up off the bench in front of him and swung his arm out, aiming it at the wall as he peered down the sights.
"Sure hope yer wearing some thermal underwear in that suit of yers...cold ain't got a meaning down there, kid."
Clicking the safety on, he slipped the Dc-15s into the holster on his right side and zipped up his parka. Picking up the A280 blaster rifle off the table, Vao yanked the charging lever and placed the rifle's strap over his shoulders, allowing it to fall and hand by his side. With a smirk, the Twi-;lek motioned to the shuttle that was waiting for them.
"You ready, kid? Cuz it's go time."
Ensuring his boots were strapped tightly and his parka was zipped up, Vao pulled the hood up over his head and nestled a pair of googles on the top of his head.
"Alright ladies! Mount up! Time to earn your pay!"
Belruk, Oncar and Son-Tor, the Rodians of his group, climbed onto the shuttle first. Then Reynar Bralor, the large and rather imposing Mandalorian climbed on. Ensuring that Damron was on as well, Vao climbed aboard the shuttle, being the final member of the six man fireteam that was heading to the surface. As the side hatch sealed, the shuttle lifted off.
"Find yer seats and strap in! We're burnin' sky in five."
Content to stand, Vao watched each of the members of his team strap in. Once he was certain they were all strapped in, he walked down the line of them, tugging on the harnesses, ensuring they were snug. Satisfied, by the time he reached the end, Vao plucked a retractable tether from his waist and clipped it to the handhold above where he stood. Soon they'd be in Hoth's atmosphere, being tossed about in the rough winds. But, once they were on the ground and inside the Organization facility, he'd be happy. This was the time where things went sideways real quick. Though hopefully nothing would...

Finding a seat, Damron made one last check of his EE-3 carbine and his WESTAR-34. Both were fully charged and in as good of condition as ever, since Damron now had partial access to a merc companies maintenance tools. Damron was sweating in his Envirosuit already since he had preemptively cranked up its heat settings.
Ready as I'll ever be for this hunk of ice.

The other assigned to hunt them is a Mandalorian of Clan Vizsla. There is a rogue hunter also here, hunting the same prey, caution is advised when dealing with the rogue hunter.
