*Crystaall pointed at Ali and began to explain.*
"Now even though me and Ali have a small history, we take a liking to each other and I would stand by her side... always. But in times when your partner is succumbed to feelings of anger or hatred to another, it is best to stay away, but only if they are not force-sensitive. I can feel Ali's hatred toward a specific man and his ignorance toward her. Now, suppose you come across a friend who has an vile hatred with another. What do you think you should? Before you answer that, think of someone you know, how you met, what you've heard of them, what you specifically know about them, any secrets they hide anything that makes them special. All these come together when someone has emotion. Its a natutral thing, but depending on a persons experience in life, its always a different reaction to a different emotion. Hence the reason why we are walking behind Ali. She is a soldier like me and she's had some rough times. For her, she's probably just going to start punching the bantha poodoo out of the first pirate she sees."
*Crystaall chuckled at the thought of Ali beating a pirate to a bloody pulp. After Bespin, she wouln't be surprised or shocked to see Ali doing so. She'd probably do the same thing to the man who put a bomb in front of their lift.*

Leftenant Ali Hadrix, GCF-1401 1st Platoon, FOX Company, 1st IBCT, GALSAF 4 Kilometers from Cavern Entrance Ali had continued pressing on through the snow for what seemed like hours to her conscious mind. Her unconscious mind, however, wasn't bothering to keep track of the time, it was instead focused on keeping track of her fellow commandos that remained within range of her helmet sensors. As she trekked through the deeping snow, Ali kept her eyes on her surroundings and her ears on various comlink channels through which her commandos were communicating. Most of the talk was rubbish, particularly from Sheperd's squad, though Ali didn't blame them for occupying their minds with their mouths for the time being. They would act when they needed to, and not a moment too soon or late, which was all that mattered. Ali double-checked her HUD as she crossed the four kilometer marker she had previously identified. Echo Base was off to the North, though Ali suddenly realized she was unsure a direct approach to the base's main hangar entrance was the wisest course of action. Pressing onward, Ali made her way forward another kilometer, until the base's remnant was visible through her macrobinoculars. She spotted two different groups of individuals some ways in the distance, and a third that resided much closer. Ali checked @aidan's transponder on her HUD, catching sight of his icon on approach towards the nearby group of poachers. Squatting down, Ali rested her plated elbows on her knees and held the macrobinoculars to her visor. The commando watched as a hazy, crouched figure approached the trio of poachers, who were huddled about in their own mock encampment, weapons ready but entirely unaware of Miles' approach. Ali smiled briefly as she watched Aidan silently and effectively eliminated each of the three poachers in turn, then summarily disappeared into the snowy landscape once more. Satisfied, she collapsed and stowed the binoculars back into a utility pouch, and pushed herself back up. Rechecking the rest of her team's positions, Ali continued forward towards the three dead poachers, who were nearly hidden completely by fresh snowfall by the time Ali covered the kilometer distance that had separated them. She checked over the bodies, stripping them of their comlinks and datapads. Ali skimmed through each of the 'pads, which had not been secured in any way, discarding each of them into the snow after finding nothing of value. Ali broke one of the comlinks from its housing and jacked it into a device port under the rim of her helmet. The connection would allow Ali to hack into the poachers' communications, and piggy-back onto any transmissions they made that were within range. At first all she heard was static, though voices began to sound over the comlink. Some of them sounded human, others Weequay, Gran, Rodian…typical rabble, Ali thought. The transmissions came in garbled, but Ali was able to discern through the white-noise that there were at least two other groups of poachers in the area between Echo Base and the caverns the Jensaarai were planning on exploring through. Try as she might, however, Ali was unable to pick up on any information regarding the location of the poachers' armored vehicle and other militarized craft. She had to assume for the moment that those forces had been stored away inside Echo Base's several hangars, where they would be better protected by the cold. Ali had several armor units in standby orbiting the planet, though she wouldn't risk calling them in unless she was absolutely sure they were necessary. Whatever the poachers had to throw at GALSAF and the Jensaarai, Ali doubted they could match. Whatever armored vehicles they had were likely older models, scaled back with less armor plating and lower grade systems. Piece of uj cake1, Ali told herself, settling in to the snow on her belly, her rifle brought up to her visor as she scanned the entrance to Echo Base's main hangar. Unfortunately, the snow drift refused to let up and she was unable to discern anything in particular from such distance. Cursing silently, Ali keyed her Platoon comlink channel.Listen up, Base Team, I'm uploading my coordinates to you now, we'll regroup here before making our approach to Echo Base. I'll brief you on their defenses and personnel when you arrive. Miles and Sam that means you, as well. Ali ended the communication from her end and uploaded her current position based on her HUD. It shouldn't take more than five or ten minutes for the rest of the group to meet her amongst the corpses, though she had calmed down well enough during her trek that latecomers wouldn't bother her so much. Soldiers taking off whenever they want was another story entirely… Ali remained in the prone position she had taken, resting against the rapidly cooling body of a poacher Aidan had previously killed. She checked her HUD once more, seeing he wasn't far away, though the weather was interfering too much with her helmet scanners to tell if he was moving her way or not. Ali put her visor to the scope of her rifle once more, checking up on Consuela Montiero, @kaytra, and Sam Ghomesz, each in turn. Ali silently hoped Consuela would find that ship of hers in time to rendez-vous with her wampa friends before the attack really began. Ali knew there was little chance of their forces from remaining undetected by the poachers, but Ali wanted everything to be in place before they struck, or else they risked more lives, on all sides.1: A sweet Mandalorian pastry made with particular spices. *The speeder bike hummed loudly underneath Kaytra as she tore across the snowy terrain. The snow itself, however, was making it very difficult to see at such high speeds. She was suddenly finding it hard to tell where the were in relation to the poachers. Quickly she brought the bike to a halt, not willing to risk alerting the poachers. She dismounted the bike and sank into knee deep snow that was still mounting around her. Turning she saw the rest of the team doing the same. Quietly they began to climb a small knoll in front of them. Keeping low they peeked the top, directly below them was the poachers huddled in a small group to keep the wind off them. Kaytra brought her electrobinoculars up to her eyes, diligently she scanned each pirate. Her jaw clenched in frustration, she lowered the binoculars and turned the He'gai.*
::He's not there.:: *She turned and faced the group again.* ::Lets take these scum done silently. Flank and eliminate, quietly.:: *She put some emphasis on the last word as she looked in Dreemers direction.*
*Each trooper nodded and fanned out. Silently Kaytra slipped down the side of the hill, keeping low and using the snow as cover. Once in position, she waited for the others to signal that they were ready. After several long moments, each call came through. Giving her com a tap she signaled for them to move. As one each commando moved forward, their targets already picked. The poachers didn't know what hit them, within seconds each was dead, either to a broken neck or a knife wound. Kaytra dropped the slaver she had chosen, his neck dislocated by her powerful prosthetic arms. She turned and gave a nod to the group before hitting her comlink.*
::Leftenant Tatham to Leftenant Hadrix. We just encountered and eliminated a small party of poachers not far from Echo Base. No sign of Sylas yet. We'll keep an eye out for him as we..::
*Her words were cut off in static as she heard a loud thump. Instinctively she spun and raised her M7A1 carbine into a ready position. She was not alone, the rest of the squad had also focused on the same spot. She couldn't see the source of the sound through the snow, but it sounded as if someone just hit an icy surface. Kaytra glanced over at Shepard and gave a nod. Carefully the two made their way over towards the sound. Instead of finding a hostile, they came face to face with a wall of ice and snow. At one side ran a large crack from top to bottom, it was just big enough for a person to slide through sideways. What was worse were the fresh footprints leading to it. Kaytra swore loudly before hitting her comlink again. She through formality out the window this time, for they may have been in big trouble.*
::Hadrix do you copy? Our presence may be compromised. We found a large crack in a cliff face that leads deep into the hill with fresh footprints leading inside. Requesting permision to pursue.::

Janus followed Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh into the ice cave he could feel right away that the ground was unstable. He watched with wide eyes as a platform crumbled away that Garwig was previously on crumbled. He wasn't excepting danger so soon. The boy then nodded at the suggest that followed the reassurance that Garwig was fine, this situation was well beyond his expertise.Um right. He said and made his way over to Enbilulu.Ready if you are?If she was then Janus would move to the edge of the pit and squat down to build up the force in his legs then leap with her to the closeted platform. He landed in another squat, and had to use his hands to grip the ground and balance himself as his right foot slipped on the ice. Once he centered himself he repeated the process and jumped over to join Garwig on the other side. That wasn't to hard.He said happy to make it safely across.

Second Squad, 4th Platoon, GALSAF Veng stuck his knife in the snow, wiping the blood off in it before sliding it back into its mag-locked sheath. He got up from where he kneeled beside his dead mark and trudged towards the crack on the ice wall, big enough for any one of them to slide into. Without turning around he watched Kaytra from the periphery of his HUD, while she attempted to connect with Leftenant Hadrix on the com. Young, he mused. But with a hardened edge. This one's been through the wringer. Comfortable in leadership. Quick, tactical mind. She could make Squad Leader. Maybe even give Leftenant Hadrix a run for her creds. Past military? He wondered. No, too young. Unless... Veng shook his head. Probably just GALSAF's training kicking in. He was snapped out of his thoughts as Brandle Dreemer's voice came over the coms.So. Probably an inappropriate time- Then keep it in, thought Veng. -to bring this up but. Did it cross anybody else's mind that Sylas got in the nude out in this weather? I mean, talk about dedication am I right? Veng did a mental facepalm. But he just couldn't help but respond to that. Only you would be thinking about Sylas nude. At any given time. Dreemer spluttered, quick to defend himself. Th-that's not what I meant! You know what, Go'sai. I like you better when you don't talk. He'gai's voice sliced through the chatter. I have had it up to here- Sheperd suddenly interjected over the quarren. Movement. All four of them simultaneously brought their carbines up and pointed outwards, forming a half-circle around Kaytra. Quietly, they scanned their HUDs. Dreemer spoke up. See them. Six, maybe more.Wampas.The snow storm chose at that moment to gain in strength, battering the still forms of the Commandos. He'gai kept his carbine trained outward. Dreemer, get the astromech free. Leftenant- He addressed @kaytra next. I suggest we get inside that crack, with or without confirmation.

*Kaytra kept her rifle pointed in the direction of the wampas. Oh the unexpected, she thought.*
::No argument there. Alright boys file in and don't be slow about it.:: *She took several steps back, and gave Shepard a sideways glance.* ::Shepard you're up first, then Veng. Dreemer, you and the droid after that.::
*She slowly backed up the the entrance of the crack. She was going to be last in, that she was going to make sure of. No one in this squad was going to be wampa bait.*

*Malcolm pushed forward, carving a path through the deep snow. The white powder accumulated everywhere, covering his tracks, his armor and his enemies. This didn't matter to him, however, he had been in situations like this countless times before. And like those countless times before, he succeeded. Now was no different. He turned and glanced behind him at the rest of the squad filing in behind, some making their own paths others following his tracks. Alis voice in his helmet brought him back to the task at hand. He turned to where the squad leader was a short distance off. She was hunkering down to wait for the others, then so would he. Taking position a few feet away from where Ali had laid down. He to laid down on his stomach facing the opposite direction.*

Second Squad, 4th Platoon, GALSAF Veng Go'sai backed up into the entrance of the ice wall, maneuvering his way by use of the 360 degree view his helmet afforded. He only lowered his carbine at the last moment and slid into the crack, following after Sheperd.Hey Ghost. You didn't tell me you and Tatham were on a first-name basis. Something you're not telling me? Veng's HUD had switched to a low-light display, sensing the darkness of the makeshift tunnel. Behind him were Dreemer and He'gai, with the Jensaarai Crystaall Sehefadu's astromech between them. @kaytra would be bringing up the rear. Glancing at the channel Dreemer had opened up, Veng noticed they were still on the general frequency. He smirked at Dreemer's idiocy and opted to not point out the man's mistake. Easy on the eyes if you can get past her eerie ones. What are those anyway, cybernetic? Wonder what else she got replaced. Maybe you can shed some light on that, eh Ghost? Veng could almost hear Dreemer's leery smile over the com. Something no one listening would have missed. Dreem. You might wanna check the channel you're on. Sheperd's voice came through. Veng snickered as silence followed after Shep's revelation. The commandos made their way through the dark, cramped tunnel. A few minutes had passed before Sheperd finally noticed that up ahead the path had widened, opening up into a bigger cavern.

*Kaytra slid into the ice wall last, her carbine facing outward towards the entrance they just came in. As soon as she was in, Dreemers voice filled her ear through the comlink. She shook her head at the conversation, at least until he mentioned her "eerie ones" and what other cybernetics she might have. She let out a low sigh as the cybernetics in her eyes adjusted to low light, giving the isis a bright neon green glow. She placed a mental note that she should do something to make her eyes look normal.*
::Cut the chatter boys. Or you'll find out what other cybernetics this "eerie one" has.:: *The last comment was directed in Dreemers direction.*
*Kaytra noticed the small tunnel they were in begin to widen out before it hit a cave. She slid out of the tunnel into a small cavern. The cavern was lit by beams of light filtering through cracks in the ceiling, but most of the cave remained dark. Snow and ice crunched beneath her boots as she moved forward. She came to a stop when she noticed the dead poacher in the middle of the room, well, what was left of him anyway. Kaytra raised her carbine and cautiously made her way over to the body. From what she could tell, the man had been ripped apart, and it was fresh to. Rolling up the sleeves of her jacket to her elbows, she crouched beside the poacher and rolled him over onto his back. Even from the front he was torn apart, but there was something strange. A small stone spearhead was jammed into the poachers stomach. Kaytra grabbed the spearhead and pulled it out, holding it up for the others to see. It was roughly has long as her hand, and half as wide.*
::Anyone wanna take a guess at where this came from?"

Ali watched as Sergent @malcom's transponder icon appeared on her HUD. She glanced back by sweeping the 360º view of her helmet to the left, and saw the man lay prone behind her, facing their rear. As the rest of the team approached and took similar positions facing outwards, forming a rough circle, Ali waited for @aidan to arrive. After a brief moment of no movement on her HUD, Ali returned her view to face-forward. Aidan obviously was intent on remaining where he was. She reassessed Aidan's position and acknowledged mentally that he had selected a good one, so she let the issue rest. Leftenant @kaytra contacted her briefly over the comlink, requesting permission to enter the cave they had stumbled on. Ali didn't bother responding, however, as she watched Kaytra's team enter the cave a moment later. Good on her for taking initiative, Ali thought to herself, returning her attention to Echo Base's main hanger, still over a kilometer away. Considering there were roughly three teams of poachers dispersed throughout the area, Ali decided a sniping job was in order. Returning her comlink to the team frequency, Ali spoke only to the commandos with her. Everyone reorient along the hillside, I want all eyes forward on this one. We have three teams in the area, and I need at least one shooter for each of them. Malcom, you're on the team to the North-East. The rest of you, orient based off of Malcolm. I've got team two, to the North. Ali waited for each of them to acknowledge her orders, then she unclipped the bi-pods on her rifle and set the weapon down while the rest of her commandos arrayed themselves on either side of her. Ali settled herself into the snow by wriggling her body slightly, getting a comfortable and stable shooting position before bringing the scope of her weapon to her visor. She switched from HUD-view to visor-view, adjusting her eyes to the night. The scope of her weapon shaded the landscape in shades of green before she switched the scope view to the infrared spectrum. Now the landscape was bathed in dark colors, though the poachers shone in orange and red, reflecting the heat that emanated from their bodies. I've got team two in my sights, respond when ready. Ali muttered over the comlink, resting her finger against the trigger of her rifle. After downing these hostiles, we're moving to the hangar. Our path will sweep West, towards Miles' position. We'll assault the hangar from its West side. I doubt their armor is prepped for action, but keep an eye open and anti-vehicle weapons on standby. Ali updated the team as the rest of them prepared themselves. She wanted to make sure that as soon as the poacher teams were out of the fight, her commandos were ready to move. Aidan, get your rifle up on our targets so you can cover any misses. Hold your position for now, we'll be meeting you once this is finished.

Baker Team, Second SquadCavern near Echo BaseThanks for the heads up. Dreemer's voice dripped with sarcasm as he switched to a private channel with Veng. Although they remained silent for the rest of the way, before Sheperd signalled that they were coming to a wider area.Sheperd panned to the left, his Verpine carbine immediately raised and ready. Veng was quick to follow as they exited the tunnel into the spacious cavern. He moved to the right, mirroring Sheperd, while Dreemer moved forward. Sheperd and Veng circled the walls and met at the far side where another tunnel continued onwards. Clear. The three commandos' voices echoed through everyone's coms, one after the other. The cavern appeared circular for the most part, with spires of ice adorning the icy ceiling. The wind blowing through the tunnels created spine-tingling music as they moved through the tiny holes in the spires. Holes made by iceworms native to the planet, in search of algae. He'gai came up from behind Crystaall Sehefadu's astromech and moved to stand beside Dreemer and Kaytra. The latter was crouched beside an unmoving form at the center of the cavern. Primitive weapon of some sort. Dreemer responded to Kaytra's query before searching the corpse, while the Leftenant examined the spearhead. He then quickly pulled his armored hand away, blood staining his fingers. Fresh. Whatever killed him can't be too far. Veng remained near the entrance to the adjoining tunnel while Sheperd walked over to Kaytra. This doesn't feel right, Leftenant. Feels like we walked into an amb-Several figures burst up from the ground, roaring as they attacked the commandos with what appeared to be clubs. Thick furred, tusked and hulking despite their four foot forms, the creatures moved with surprising agility. One came up behind Sheperd and struck him hard, throwing the commando against the ice wall. Four more circled Dreemer, He'gai and the astromech, slamming their carbines away which tore off from their shoulder straps. Another two attacked @kaytra at once while the last one went for Veng.It all happened at once in a flurry of activity. A blur of blood, fur and durasteel.

*The ambush was fast, almost to fast. Kaytra watched as Shepard got knocked into a wall by some creature that burst from the snow. Before she could make a move to help, she heard two more coming up behind her. There was no time for her to use her rifle. Instead she turned and activated the blades she had hidden in her forearms. With a soft clink, the blade holsters popped out of her prosthetic arms and the blades shot forward out of their sheaths. She swung her right arm forward, the blade caught the first creature across the throat causing a splattering of blood and squeals from the creature as it hit the ground. The second one swung a club down at her. Catching the club with her left blade, she brought the right one into its gut. The creature roared in pain before swinging again. This time Kaytra dodge around the club and brought her left blade down between the creatures collar bone and neck, dropping it instantly.*
*She turned and charged the one that went after Shepard. This one never saw her coming. Ramming her blades deep into the things back, she grabbed it with her hands. Sinking her body into a deep stance, she lifted the creature off the ground with surprising strength for her size and threw it. The creature tumble through the air and crash landed near the four that surrounded He'gai, Dreemer and the droid. She then quickly turned on the four skel near He'gai. She yelled into her helmet comlink to Shepard.*
::Are you alright?!:: *She didn't pause as she charged towards the Skel. Shepard was a commando, he could take care of himself. She hoped anyway.*

The moment Ali issued orders to meet up, Aidan bit his lip. He found himself in a little bit of a pickle a few clicks west. This sniper team was on the perfect spot overlooking Echo Base, waiting on anyone passing through the cave entrance up north. By Aidan's count, this team made it four. While the previous scouts were the sort to stop on certain vantage points, looking for prey to bring back to the base, these men were actually on the look out for intruders, possibly taking a certain route that avoided the dangers posed by a wampa ambush. They stopped once in a while to take note of why they've yet to encounter some of their colleages, however. It was admirable how familiar these men were with the terrain, able to take excellent vantage points without running the risk of making their positions unknown. They worked on simple patrol and hunting patterns, making optimal use of the land's hills and cliffs. Unlike his first encounter, which involved long range scouts on their snow speeder, the last three teams were made up of three to two men on foot. While Aidan was able to tap into their local coms, they kept messages short yet casual, lacking any social banter. These hunters were focused on the task at hand and found no joy in nothing else. They were just like him. Hermits. One and the same. Unfortunately for them, they lacked the training to hunt for things that were hunting them. They were three men this time, garbed in the usual attire, but all were heavily armed, standing about five feet away from eachother. The man to the left was looking away, trying to listen to anything on the com over the sound of the howling wind. The man to the right held the group to that position in the first place, cleaning his gun due to dirt stuck in it. The sniper in the middle had his back turned to Aidan, keeping a lookout at the worst possible direction. The wind was deafening to his ears as he sneaked behind the man on the com. He grabbed the man's rear collar with his left hand as he plunged his blade through his spine. His screamed alerted the other two as Aidan pulled out his blade and let the body fall forward. The man in the middle turned first with the barrel of his rifle following. Aidan rolled forward towards him before he could aim the weapon properly. Springing out of his roll, Aidan swept away the rifle with his left hand followed by a thrust from his blade into the man's throat. The man working on his rifle gave up on it two seconds later and reached down to draw out his knife. By then Aidan had pulled out his blade from the other man's neck, using all momentum from the pull into a horizontal slice aimed at the charging man's throat. The last man stumbled back as blood poured out, landing on his back dead. Surveying the area, he spoke into his com, finally addressing the Leftenant.
Sorry, 'bout that hold up, Ma'am. Took some boys ahead o' ya to sleep. Just ignore the...
He paused. He didn't keep count.
...eight or so men on the way here.
He didn't include the men dead at his feet of course. Aidan pulled out the unused SSK-7 he took off the ship earlier. Once he's sure it was in top condition, he holstered it back in. He didn't load out for any long range fighting unfortunately. Procurement on site suited him. He obliged the Leftenant, however, and took one of the rifles the dead men had with them. It was an A295 blaster, perfect for cold weather and possibly stolen from Echo Base's armory. While it had great range, Aidan preferred something with a bit more kick. Sylas would have had a field day with this one, however. Not that he didn't train rigorously with rifles. His muscle memory preferred a kill up close and with a louder bang. He took a knee and looked over Echo Base. He's yet to see any heavy assault vehicles from this side of the base, yet he couldn't count those out. He held the rifle to his chest. It wasn't as heavy as he remembered it to be but it would probably slow him down later. Best to leave it when he no longer needs it.

::Affirmative.::
*Malcolm gave a nod and stood up. Keeping close to the ground, he moved with silently and quickly. With minutes he had reached the position Ali had designated or him. Laying down in the prone position he place his rifle scope to his helmet and switched it to infrared. Below him six figures glowed bright red and orange against the frozen terrain.*
::Thornwulf reporting in. I'm counting six hostiles directly below me. Two on patrol, the rest sleeping on the job.::

=R4-Y9= *As the droid went into the cracked cliffside and into the cavern with the troops, the droid wimpered. He was frightened of the creatures that lived here, for he witnessed one attacking the previous base when Crystaall joined the Alliance. Not a pretty sight. The droid screeched as it saw the fury of action came from the creatures that attacked them as they got surrounded. R4 rocked back and forth in panic, quickly backing up from the action. He moved back into a wall, and was sad that he couldn't avoid watching without turning himself off. When the bloodshed stopped for a moment, R4 made a number of beeps questioning if the commandos were ok.*

*Crystaall continued following the rest of the commandos, but mainly Ali specifically. She began to jog toward Ali, seeing her hold her position for a few moments and waved her hand at Ursi to do the same. Once she caught up she looked at Ali and tapped her helmet to activate her private channel.*
Ali, where do you need me and Ursi? We both know stealth so it can prove useful if you want us to try and disable their tech. I have a few EMP charges on me.
*She hoped Ali would agree with the plan. Crystaall knew the vent entrances to the base were blocked through heavy ice and her lightsaber could easily get rid of that problem. She knew Ursi could be better at stealth than her own generator, so handing her the charges would be the second step of the plan. If Ali agreed.*

Slumped against the icy wall of the cavern, Sheperd brought his carbine to bear and squeezed two rounds off, dropping one of the four skels that were attacking He'gai and Dreem. I'm fine. Sheperd's voice had a gurgle to it, as if he spoke with liquid in his mouth.Dreemer stepped back, avoiding the arcing club that came his way. In one smooth motion he drew out his holstered shatter-pistol and fired three shots. Two in the creature's chest and one in it's head. The skel tumbled down in a spin, dead.
He'gai's attacker was oddly bigger than the others, standing roughly six feet. But this didn't deter the quarren from charging forward, triggering a vibroknuckler to extend from his right gauntlet. He ducked out of the creature's swing and came up and grabbed it by the shoulder with his left hand, while stabbing it repeatedly in the gut with his right. He finished it off with a forward slam to it's head with his own helmeted one.
Dreem and He'gai turned around to see the last skel drop dead, a vrakolian spin-blade sticking out from the base of it's skull. Veng stood at the same spot prior to the melee, a bullet hole adorning the forehead of another skel by his feet. His utility belt held one less spin-blade.Sheperd's form was unmoving when the Commandos made their way to him. Dreem and He'gai knelt beside their comrade. Sheperd, you al- He'gai reached forward but stopped when he noticed a dark liquid pooling beneath the man. A quick look revealed that an ice spire had gone through the gap between his upper arm plate and backplate. The angle appeared weird, as it seemed the spire must have reached the inner chest area. How the kriff did that happen? Dreem had noticed where He'gai was examining. Fluke. Random kriffing chance. Sheperd, say something. Sheperd coughed, spraying blood into his visor which would have been evident from the outside. Tell Connie and the k- He'gai cut him off. Shut up. This is gonna hurt. He'gai looked at Dreemer as he grasped Sheperd on the side, Dreemer nodded back and together they pulled him off of the spire. Sheperd gave a pained grunt before his head drooped, his chin against his chest. Unconscious, nothing more. Dreemer and He'gai supported the passed out Sheperd as the quarren turned to face @kaytra. Our BFR training does not cover an injury like this. And we do not have enough bacta. We need to turn back. Dreemer spoke. What about Sylas? He'gai snapped back. Kriff Sylas. Sheperd needs medical attention ASAP. Barely a fraction, Sheperd managed to raise his head and force out some words. No. We all... go back. Or none of us do. Then seemingly passed out once more. Veng took a step forward, his helmet revealed nothing of his expression. He'gai gave him a hard stare. No. Veng remained quiet. I said no. The slight man merely turned around, silently making his way towards the next tunnel. Damn you, Ghost. Fine, so be it. But I better see you and Sylas on the transport back home. He'gai turned towards Leftenant Tatham once more. We will take the same tunnel back, and wait for the wampas to clear off before making it for the speeder bikes. It is your call Leftenant. You can head back with us or- He'gai nodded towards Veng Go'sai's retreating form. -continue on with him. Dreemer looked for Crystaall Sehefadu's astromech and found it backed against the wall making beeping sounds whose meaning escaped him. He felt sorry for the droid because as far as he could tell it appeared spooked. C'mon little bud. We're getting out of here. He'gai and Dreemer, with Sheperd between them made for the way back together with the astromech. Leaving Kaytra Tatham with a choice to make.Hadrix. The quarren's voice had a fatigued undertone to it as he opened a channel with Leftenant Ali Hadrix. This is Second Squad, Baker. We were ambushed. Ugly rodders came out of the ground and caught us in a melee. Headed back to the hangar. One casualty in need of immediate medical attention. He paused a moment before adding. Corporal Go'sai is continuing with the mission. He'gai purposefully left Kaytra out of the report, allowing the Flight Officer time to make her decision. The quarren sergent took a quick look at Sheperd, remembering the man's wife and kids. Huff He'gai thought back to his own family in Mon Calamari. We are getting you home, Gaeb, thought the Sergent. No one dies on my watch. The three commandos, followed by a droid, trudged on through the cramped and dark confines of the tunnel.

=R4-Y9= *The droid followed Dreemer and followed quietly behind him looking at Kaytra and giving a few noises that indicated good luck, if she decided to follow Veng. If she went with Veng, he hoped they both would come back unharmed, but Shepard had recieved a bad injury and the droid wished he would be alright. He just followed, making little noise, as the droid tried to process what was going on.*

*Kaytra sheathed her blades back into her prosthetic arms and turned around. It was then she finally realized what happened to Shepard. Her stomach sank as she surveyed the damage with the others. She remained quiet through the entire ordeal, as she was now torn on who to follow. Letting out slow breath, she began to follow after the others through the tunnel back to the entrence. She switched her com to a private channel with He'gai.*
::He'gai. I'll see you guys to the entrance, then radio for Leftenant Asha to meet you along the way with the LAAT and medical aid. Then I'm going back after Veng. I don't want one of our own wondering these tunnels alone, that's to great of a risk by my book.::

Leftenant Ali Hadrix, GCF-1404 4th Platoon, FOX Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st IBCT, GALSAF Approx. 1 Kilometer South of Echo Base Main Hangar Bay entrance Ali caught Crystaall Sehefadu's approach from the rear of her HUD view just as @malcom settled into position nearby her. Thornwulf brought his rifle scope to his visor and began to confirm the numbers they had surveyed in the area. Ali double-clicked her comlink in receipt of Malcolm's report then listened to Crystaall and Aidan's own transmissions and replied over the squad channel so the rest of the team would hear her revised plan. Crys, I want to take advantage of you and your student's skills. You two make the approach and we'll cover you, taking out each team as you head along. Your objective is the side of the hangar entrance. Make sure you have those Ee-Em-Pee's prepped and ready. @aidan, you'll be their main cover once they've reached the hangar. Malcolm, you take one half of the team and head out towards the hangar, following Crystaall's path. I want you to start moving once she's passed the first hostile team we've downed for her. The rest of you are with me, we'll head out after downing last of the aruetiise1, Crystaall reaches the hangar and Aidan's able to take over the task of covering her. Once we've all made it to the hangar, we'll pop those grenades and assault through. Dismounts go first, we'll deal with vehicles after that; the grenades should keep them out of the fight long enough for us to clear the hangar of personnel. Order of movement will be heavy gunners and grenadiers first, I want to light that hangar up like we're celebrating. After that, we can clear the rest of Echo Base and report back to Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh. Ali waited until she received confirmation of her orders from the rest of the team, then spoke once more, keeping her rifle aimed at the first group of poachers. Crys, go ahead and move, we're ready.Ali watched as things began to unfold, her commandos began to move and Crystaall gathered her student for their own part in the mission. For the moment, Ali was content to wait, until a rather disturbing transmission rang in her ears, from the other squad's com-channel. Ali picked up on the distress in Sergent He'gai's voice instantly, her worry peaking. This is Second Squad, Baker. We were ambushed. Ugly rodders came out of the ground and caught us in a melee. Headed back to the hangar. One casualty in need of immediate medical attention. After a pause, He'gai concluded his transmission. Corporal Go'sai is continuing with the mission. Ali almost swore out loud to herself, but managed to keep her teeth clenched. He'gai hadn't identified who the casualty was, or his condition, but Ali didn't care either way. Any injury that was important enough to take a commando off the mission for must be severe. She responded to He'gai's transmission, forcing the worry and strain out of her voice. He'gai, you get that casualty back as soon as you can. No waiting for anything or anyone. Get to those speeders and get him out of here. I'll radio back to the hangar, they can meet you halfway.Ali brought up Garwig's personal com-channel on her HUD, relaying the information to the Jensaarai Sarai-kaar. Garwig Gil Ga'Mesh, it's Hadrix, I need any personnel you can spare to meet Sergent He'gai at the following grid coordinates, immediately. He's bringing a casualty that needs immediate medical attention; he might not make it all the way to the hangar. Coordinates are as follows: Echo-Baker-One-Six-Four-Two-Three-Zero. I'm uploading their transponders with this message, you ought to be able to identify them on your scanners.1: Foreigners, Traitors [Based on Context]
