As Luna One circled the world of Roon, activity continued across its surface as shuttles traveled to and from the monolith being constructed. An additional two floors had been built by this point, at the unfortunate expense of a vast majority of the slaves. Their bodies were reconstituted into mortar, bones mixed with crushed gems and used to spackle between layers of meltmassif stone. Beneath the surface, from the underground darktrooper facility to the growing structure, a tram system was constructed to help move supplies seamlessly. Now the shuttles could enter the hangar tube, offload their equipment, and have it transported where it was needed most while the shuttle was launched back out into the void to whence it came.
The Covenant of Blood and the Night Lord continued to hold orbit above the moon facility. Jerec Cretin and Lorn Dirkwood traveled the dark corridors of the Covenant, projecting an aura of power and menace to keep the children of the Hungering One at bay. Red eyes watched from the darkness, fangs dripping ropes of hot saliva as they stalked the halls looking for their next meal. The aura proved enough to dissuade the feral barabels from trying anything. More or less essential since Lorn was fairly certain even the two of them couldn't fight off the hungry horde if it came down to it. They had too much of the master in their alchemically altered veins. Hydraulic doors split apart as the duo entered a board room set side for them. Already inside was another of their number, the youngest and possibly most spiritually depraved of the dark apostles, Morgan Pasanius. He stared at them with yellowed bloodshot eyes, clearly corrupted by the wraping influence of the darkside. Like them, his skin was pale to the point of near translucence, strewn with bluish veins that seemed to writhe beneath his flesh. He was wrapped in the dark robes of a Sith acolyte, seated in one of the chairs with his boots propped up on the table. A 'crunch' was elicited as he crunched a piece of fruit between his otherwise perfectly white teeth.
"Lorn, Jerec. You look, well, frankly you look like shit." He slid his feet off the table and sat up in his chair, casually swinging his arms out to the side. "But then I suppose that's true for all of us. At least Lorn has an excuse."
He was of course referring to the fact that out of the three of them, Lorn was the only one who had died...and subsequently had been brought back. If any of them should look like a corpse, it was him.
They each took an adjoined chair around the table and made themselves comfortable. Jerec raised a hairless brow and shrugged his shoulders, speaking in his gravely tone.
"The cost of power can be a hefty price; however, if the worst tradeoff is that we are all now as ugly as you, Morgan, it is a burden indeed."
"HA!" Chortled Lorn, nearly spitting. "Well said, brother. Now if we are done trading barbs, shall we get on to the matter at hand?"
"Indeed. The black altars..." Morgan let the last word trail off. While they hadn't been included in all of their masters plans, he had let them in on a few key details containing the four devices he had brought back from the Unknown Regions. They understood the purpose they served and that at this point, two of four had been charged to completion. That left the altar in Krell's possession, and the one currently housed in the monolith being constructed. No one had any doubt that the ancient war bot would see to the successful soul harvest to charge the altar in his care, but as of yet the apostles hadn't come up with a plan for how they were going to charge the one they were responsible for. With the feast day soon approaching, time was beginning to run out. "Have we any thoughts on that yet?"
"A few." Acknowledged Jerec. "The problem is that few of the locations that would provide a sufficient soul tally are also well within the public eye, and we've been instructed to operate in secret, which presents a problem. I don't see how we can gather enough sacrifices to sufficiently charge the device without drawing attention to our operations."
"Surely there is some frontier planet that no one would bat an eye at if its inhabitants simply...disappeared."
"There are a few. But they are small. We would need to hit at least four of them to make up the difference that one large raid would secure for us."
"I don't see that as a problem. It will give us a chance to test out a few of the master's latest projects."
"It will be slow, seeing as we can not simply split the altar up between us, but if we start soon then I believe we can accomplish what needs doing in time for the feast day. We'll be cutting it close though."
"Well..." Morgan winked. "...if worse comes to worse, he'll kill us, and then we won't need to worry about it anymore."
"No." Lorn shook his head, the ring of scar tissue circling his neck chaffing on the collar of his shirt. "That will not be an out for any of us. I should know."

With some luck one or both of them would already await her within the hangar bay, though the Royal Guardswoman assumed that otherwise she would have to ask one of the local troopers where the way to the bridge is. Usually this was the second-most-likely place, where she would at least find one of them. The Imperial Guardsman didn't have to wait long however as a middle-aged male walked towards her, flanked by two Stormtroopers. Given his appearance, he was a naval officer and the insignia on his chest indicated his rank. If anything, this was likely the Captain Jaa Harand that was supposed to meet her. Yet, the Sith acolyte was nowhere to be seen.
Captain Harand had been notified of the oncoming person and the mission's intentions. Kamino, a clone army for the future of the Sith Eternal. He thought the day would never come. Harand was among the military officers that agreed with the usage of clones given the lack of manpower. Others, even on his ship, advocated the usage of droids and thus claiming the foundries of Geonosis and Hypori, left by the more recent Grand Confederacy and Blackguard Imperium. However, it seemed that the Council of the Eternal were in favor of clones. Something that met his approval.

Gas vented into the cold void as the Covenant of Blood's maneuvering thrusters began to move it out of position. The wedge shaped black hulled star destroyer slowly drifted away from its orbital position over the Luna One manufacturing facility and connected monolith, turning in the direction of the asteroid ridden celestial cloud that encircled the system, making travel to and from Roon difficult. There were a series of lightstations along the way, essentially space stations with navigation beacons to guide ships in and out of the system safely, but the Covenant had no need of these. Its three massive ion engines ignited, burning hard in the airless vacuum as the warship began to build momentum. Inside the blighted and grotesquely ornamented hull of the destroyer, warning klaxons sounded in the eternally night shrouded corridors, louder even than the screams of torment coming from slaves being picked clean of their flesh by the feral children of the Great Devourer. Sith cultists moved to their stations, whipping gangs of slaves to a blood frothy frenzy as they put them to work. The last few shuttles that had been transporting supplies to the moon installation returned through the fanged maw painted around the Covenant's open hangar, magnetically clamping themselves in place as everything that could be secured, was secured. Turbolaser turrets swiveled, aligning the muzzle of their cannons with incoming space debris, preparing firing algorithms on pitted balls of rock and ice. Brilliant crimson lances thundered across the closing distance, detonating in powerful explosive blasts of energy as they connected with their targets. Shields were raised to full and even the tractor beam system was being utilized to maneuver larger objects out of the direct path of the vessel. Finally the prow entered the dust storm, tiny debris scraping paint and frozen corpses from the hull, light some sort of natural pressure washer.
Morgan Pasanius watched from the view screen from the command throne on the bridge, gritting his teeth as the particle shields shrieked and wailed, watching with dark eyes even as the blast shield came down and obscured his view. Everyone aboard the bridge switched to using the main display feed broadcast by sensors embedded across the hull, providing semi-clear visuals of what was happening outside. Space rock in the Covenant's path was hammered with superheated plasma, liquifying it for a few seconds while it dispersed and then froze again out of the way. The dark apostle of the Hungering One watched the shield readouts wane, dipping the longer they spent in the cloud, and there was still some distance to go. It was not a wise path to travel the storm, challenging the forces of nature that bound the galaxy together, but it was somewhat satisfying in a perverse sort of way. Nothing like going where the galaxy had decreed it taboo to traverse to really get him excited. No words needed to be shared, the bridge crew had made this journey a few times already. Closing his eyes, Morgan saw a path through the storm that would grant them passage before they were torn apart. He tapped on the arm of his command throne and broadcast orders to the helm, feeding the cultist at the controls a series of maneuvers and coordinates to follow. It didn't matter if it didn't make sense, they knew that a disciple of Dragus was capable of many unnatural abilities. The resistance against the hull lessened somewhat as the ship began to follow the predestined path laid before it, risking the cloud for nothing more than pride.
Lightning crackled along the hull thanks to the dust particles of the charged cloud, occasionally giving a glimpse of what lurked within. In the distance a massive tentacled form could be seen, stalking the depths of the cloud, hunting for prey. Even the cannons of the Covenant would be hard pressed to match the might of a summa-verminoth, thus the ship stayed far and clear of the monstrosity. Likewise, the creature could sense the malevolence radiating from the blackened warship, letting it know that the destroyer was a monster as well. Carbonbergs smashed into one another and created gravitational chaos, some as large as planets, others no more than continent. These too the Covenant avoided, knowing it would take a concentrated effort and more time than they had to blast them apart. It treaded where the debris cloud was smallest, flowing like a raft through a set of rapids, shaking but staying together. A short time later and the ship broke free, emerging on the other side of the cloud before ramping up its engines to lightspeed and streaking forwards into the swirling blue depths of hyperspace. Evidence of its passage through the cloud was obscured within moments as the chaotic nature of the cloak of the Sith could not be predicted by anything less than Force-given foresight.

The Captain of the Firebrand saluted Azrea Thrune upon approaching.=Captain Harand= Commander Thrune, welcome aboard the Firebrand. We will be departing shortly. Intel does not expect trouble, but one can never be too safe out in the Outer Rim.The Imperial gestures forward.=Captain Harand= I am most honored to be escorting a delegation to the cloning facilities on Kamino. I have long felt that their expertise is needed in the future of the Eternal. The Grand Army of the Republic proved the value of clone soldiers and their abilities. They will prove useful in the future to come. "The Republic is long dead and the Emperor had his reasons to dispose of that army in later years, Captain."Azrea's tone was sharp, when she walked alongside the Imperial officer in order to leave the hangar bay. Probably something the Sith Eternal were already used from eachother, especially the officers, yet there was little that the Royal Guardswoman cared about when it came to the past prior to the Empire. All that came before served only for a purpose for greater means. Yet she didn't fully dismiss the importance of her mission and the means of a clone army. She simply disdained the glory, that the failure gouvernment before the formation of the Empire still recieved these days. "Yet I do agree that clones certainly have their values when it comes to their abilities and how disposable they are", she then eventually stated afterwards, "With the right training and education, they can be formed into killing machines, worthy of bringing back the true Empire by force. It's the genes that matter. Men like Fett were chosen for a reason to form up a super soldier. And while I have no respect regarding the Mandalorians and those that claim to be ones, I'm not blind towards the potential that a Clone Army could have with the ideal imperial warrior candidate as their gene seed." She left with these words open whom she would deem as such a worthy candidate, when even indicating that stronger warriors than those of Mandalorian origins exist.

I will ensure that these... mistakes won't happen again and ensure that they will be... sorted out, should they be spotted. For only strength can maintain the strength of an Empire."As the Annihilator-class vessels entered the hangar bay, Azrea's gaze followed them only briefly, before she followed after the Captain in order to meet the mysterious acolyte. She had heard by now a lot of Darth Xitan, kinda wondering what personality she will encounter.
Hopefully not as petty as the two Diarchs, that was at least something that she didn't necessarily want to encounter again. He was a Sith for certain, but yet like her just another wheel within the empire, that was supposed to function. It was the constant infighting among the supposedly allied warlords of the Diarchy that would lead to the situation in which they were in now most likely.
Another petty warlord faction, struggleing for the ultimate power in greed for the Imperial Throne, while they for themselves would never reach it.
Without an Emperor they all were nothing.

The cockpits of the Annihilator starfighters hissed open as pilots began to dismount. The rest of the squad seemed to keep with standard regulations in terms of uniform, save the fact that they were all Sith. The only one to stand out was Xitan himself, covered by a cracked mask, fused piece by piece together to form red lightning-like lines that crisscrossed it. The pilots took their leave of their squadron commander to return to the barracks and re-suit themselves for active duty among the ship's crew.
The Sith came towards the head of the dock crew that was to refuel and examine the starfighters during their inactive time.
Check the left wing. The starfighter felt a bit odd with its posturing.
Xitan remarks in passing, not even waiting for an answer from the crew head who simply bowed and ordered a few of his crew to check the Sith's starfighter. After that, he noticed the approach of Captain Harand and, by the looks of it, the rumored Imperial Guardswoman who had recently joined them. The academy and the ranks of the Eternal were flooded with the whispers of this person, who had been brought by Xazatar during a raid into the Maw system. There, they found a breakaway fleet belonging to a splinter group called the Diarchy. Xazatar was the one who brought back the prize of one of the few remaining Imperial Guardsmen of a bygone era.
Coming up to them, Captain Harand would bow to the Sith before Xitan spoke, focusing his attention on Azrea.
I assume then we are ready to depart on this mission, Captain?
The Sith asks as the Captain nods his head affirmatively. Still, Xitan did not break from looking at the Guardswoman.
Seems the Supreme Leader is giving quite the first task. He would have surely given this to one of the Councilors, but surprised us all by assigning you, Azrea Thrune.

Azrea noted that the face in front of her seemed familiar. Hadn't she seen this one already on the surface? Sometimes it was hard to say, given the Sith's obsession with masks. Vader had one for sure, yet from what she had heard during her training with Daala it wasn't necessarily a symbolic choice of his, even though the Royal Guardswoman had never found out the main cause behind it... in either way some of the older Star Destroyer layouts revealed to her that the injuries Vader got had to be tied to the medical bays aboard the ships, which the Emperor has offered up to him. To some point Azrea wondered if this Xitan had also any injuries behind this mask or if he did it for a similiar reason like she does as a Guardsman. Silently her visor looked back onto his until he spoke directly to her.
"I follow the orders of Emperor Palpatine", she stated formal, her voice echoing through the helmet, "If your leader speaks the truth and is a vessel of three Emperors, then it should be no surprise to you that the Royal Guard is considered fit for special operations like these. My vows live on, for the Empire might have fallen, but it's founder will never die. Remember that for many had made the mistake of assuming that my loyality can be bribed easily. Many had perished finding out the truth." While the last sentence was a mere statement of hers, it could easily be understood as an indirect threat. Yet probably none that should Xitan bother.

Xitan's mask looks directly at the Imperial Guardswoman.
It is not a matter of 'if', Commander Thrune. The Sith Eternal is because the three Emperors chose our Supreme Leader to be their prophet, to be the extension of their will in this physical world of ours. From the beyond, they speak through him and he ensures that we, as the Sith Eternal, become worthy followers of the Triad.
Beneath his mask, a deep exhale was heard. He had no time for veiled threats.
Remember well: believe in the cause and we will succeed. Do not doubt our Supreme Leader and who he is. For if we fail in our purpose to him, then we are nothing... and nothings get discarded to the lesser filth and be unable to see the glory of the Revival to come.
She may be a Royal Guard, but there was no Emperor to serve. Not yet, at least. For the prophecy of the Supreme Leader foretold the coming of a Fourth, the inheritor of Vitiate, Sidious, and Krayt who would reforge the Empire anew and begin a new era of the Sith while seeing to their galactic domination.
Captain Harand, on the other hand, keeps his distance from the two. None of his business. The Imperial may be the ranking commander of this vessel, but the two individuals here could easily wipe the floor with him given their skill and abilities. The Sith, on the other hand, redirects his attention forward, moving towards the nearest turbolift.
Captain Harand, have us break orbit and begin the jump for hyperspace.
Xitan commands his officer who salutes and proceeds for another turbolift.

"Would I have joined if there were any doubts?", she responded unimpressed, as she followed him,"Would I have believed in anything other than the Emperor and his cause, I would have stood my ground aboard the Manticore and defended the Maw until my last breath. Whether the challenge at hand would have been my end or yet another glorific victory for the most loyal among the Remnants is meaningless to speculate upon. Now only my duty towards the Triad matters. For that I was trained for, Sith." Her arrogance and pride could be felt within the air as she mentioned her encounter on the Manticor. Azrea knew too well that back then her forces were outnumbered and that there was hardly any chance that her army would have survived the full onslaught. Given her own skills though she was however confident, that she would have stood a chance against Xazatar and his minions nontheless, even if it meant to sacrifice her own men and to do things in the Echani way. There were no illusions that she was invincible. But her belief within the Emperor was still fanatic... and that alone gave her in moments like these the strength to even do the unthinkable. Luckily it hardly mattered as she had said before. For all of the Sith Eternal it mattered now how she'd do on her mission on Kamino.
She followed Xitan, given that there was no need of seeing the Imperial ship leave the sector from the bridge. Most likely he would give her more instructions on their way and perhaps also some more intel on the mission itself.

A scoffing noise came from beneath the Sith's mask. Defended to the last breath? Died in the name of glory? For those pretenders of the now defunct Diarchy? Perhaps maybe Azrea would have died in what she believed was in the name of her Emperor, but there was no glory to be had. The Diarchy was but an empty name, nothing more than to rally Imperialists that didn't follow the First Order or any other power that inherited from the legacy of the Galactic Empire. Nothing but to enhance someone's name and reputation. A throne of lies.
Xitan remained silent for now, walking towards another turbolift that took him to a different floor. Azrea seemed to be following his direction. So the Sith reached beneath his cloak and handed off a datapad to the Guardswoman. As the turbolift went up, the male spoke in a different tone now.
Seems Kamino has only recently left the grips of another Sith power in this region, the Blackguard Imperium. The Supreme Leader doesn't want them thinking they will trade one master for another... at least not yet of course. When the day comes that we will take to the stars in the name of conquest, Kamino will among the first to bow.
There was intel on the recent events and the new local government that seemed to have taken control now.
We must give them something they need and, like with everyone, it's money. They need money to rebuild after all, given the rather devastating departure of the Blackguard's ilk. Of course, they may be sticklers on who we choose to be the Clone's DNA template.

So far agreeing to the change of topic onto the more important matters by now, Azrea agreed with the Dark Side acolyte. She had no real information regarding Kamino and it's region other than what the intelligence of the Diarchy could find out, but even without it she would presume to be careful when it comes to a new gouvernment. She knew that she herself was one of the best warriors within the galaxy, yet that neither meant that she would underestimate potential enemies. And especially the Kaminoans were in this regard quite tough.
"All we need is their technology for now", Azrea told Xitan fondly, "When it comes to instructors, we luckily don't have to trust upon a Mandalorian this time. We either take, what they offer and reforge these men into our own or suggest one among our ranks as the template. Just don't trust these xenos too much, for they had proven to be difficult in the past. The Empire still remembers Kamino's efforts, but also their misdeeds."

Xitan steps out of the turbolift at a new floor. Already, the crew upon the ship was doing last minute checks before departure. Out a nearby viewport, one could see the vessel was turning away from Roon and making for open space before the jump for hyperspace. The Sith looks forward now, listening to the words of Azrea.
It is the hope of the Council of Seven that our arrival may cause interest, interest that may lead in promising defectors to help us with our clone army.
Thus taking away talent from the Kaminoans and ensuring a cadre of personally loyal scientists, easier to control. The Sith Eternal would need these clones, considering their already finite resources and manpower. Once the troops were gained, they could focus the manpower into the navy, augmented by clones too.
If anything, we need to ensure our interests are met. We have already begun to search for willing agents to see our goals are achieved, one way or another. Some contacts have been established within their new ministry. They were the ones who helped us gain the necessary channels and opportunity for what is to transpire.
The most dividing issue of the Council was to, hopefully, be resolved soon enough. Xitan didn't trust droids. Easy to reprogram, easy to fall apart, although easier to build in large quantities. Clones, at least, could be conditioned to be trusted and were remembered as formidable warriors of the Clone Wars and the early Empire.
Preferably, the Supreme Leader wants a candidate, or a group of them, chosen from the ranks of the Stormtroopers.

Watching as the ship was leaving the planet's orbit, the Royal Guard mused over what she had heard so far. "I will gladly offer myself volunteerly into the pool if it is a matter of good genes and for the purpose of restoring the true Empire", Azrea solely replied thus far proud, while they would soon reach the border of the system, "And as well offer myself up as an instructor towards these new forces, given that I did the same thing back for the Diarchy. While their warlord state was admittedly decaying like a rotten candle, burning down fast on fuel as your forces could witness, those that had trained under my command were at least more capable than the average mercenary recruit from Bonadan. Those that survived the Maw and still held loyal towards the Emperor's cause, not mine and not the one of the two Diarchs, were the only ones I spared and brought to Roon as a token, a gift towards your Supreme Leader." She made a brief pause, before she eventually continiued, somewhat more stern. "Whatever we will recieve in terms of clones, be assured that I will gladly test if they can even hold up ten seconds against a master of the Echani arts of combat, just to see if it's even worth to spare their lifes. Twenty and you can consider them ready for possibly a quick assault upon an inexpierienced frigate crew. A minute is all they get to proof me, that they are full soldiers, worthy of at least calling themselves true Stormtroopers, that can aim with precision and take down a regular combat-expierienced foe on their own. And perhaps those new clones learn these lessons faster than the average moist farmers."

The mention of training ensured Xitan made a note of something to Azrea.
You will likely need to coordinate that with Lord Garrax, Fist of the Eternal, and Gavarl Braji, the main general of Greater Roon's Army. Lord Vullorr can likely see that a meeting is arranged and that a civil discussion ensues. General Braji is civil, but Garrax can be... a bit of a loose cannon at times.
These were the two main figures of what made the Imperial and Sith armies. The lead commanders that had both experience and rank to prove it. Xitan had no opinion of General Braji, he was the Sovereign Admiral's colleague after all. And she was a means to an end in establishing the Imperial element of their two-fold faction. Records indicated a career with the Blackguard Imperium before falling out of favor for some reason. Came to the attention of Kilaeon and remained at her side. Lord Garrax was a skilled duelist and proven commander, given his background as a Janissary of the Tionese armies that belonged to Desevro.
I have heard of your corps of Imperial loyalists that joined us. Given the finite resources we have, with manpower, they were a great boon.
Xitan stops at a viewport, seeing Roon slowly sliding away from their gaze.
Are there any among their ranks you can recommend to the Kaminoans as a DNA template?

The Royal Guardswoman noted it down mentally. So there were still others in charge. Given the Royal Guard's permissions during the times of the Emperor it was nearly infuriating, yet something she could swallow after remembering that the Diarchy had on the opposite the tendency to award titles towards her on a silber plate just for her doing her mandatory job, that was necessary to ensure that the Galactic Empire and it's rightful Emperor could rule once more. If there were others in charge she would do as the Supreme Leader saw it fit. She just hoped that it wouldn't be a waste, given that the techniques she had learnt during her active time weren't something ordinary. Echani martial arts were a philosophy, that could only be taught by someone who knew and lived in the way of this culture, making it a rare trait for many and thus one of the reasons why the Royal Guard had one of the most important tasks in the galaxy, when it came to bringing down force users. But well, the Eternal had her trust so far.
When asked regarding recommandations she mused for a second, before answering honest. "Only a few names and all of them from the Death Corps, an elite taskforce of troops that has at least surpassed the expectations of the regular training and survived it far enough to be considered as potential candidates that could rise up in the ranks as a new generation of Royal Guards", she eventually explained, "I have no favorites among them, only single members, that I could potentially see wearing the same red helmet as I do for they could survive the initiation process if their willpower would be strong enough. Soldiers with their genes would be a valuable asset and perhaps something that could possibly restore the potential, that the originals lack. Yet even if they fail and only become just the elite soldiers that the Empire requires, they will make the Empire proud, even in death and be at least more than the regular cannon fodder." Her point of view upon the troops revealed once more that the Royal Guard saw weakness in most individuals, that weren't close to the expectations she had in their skills. Her arrogance might be based within her own abilities surpassing most of the elites with ease, yet also revealed her more sinister look upon the galaxy and what is supposed to rule it.

Xitan listens to what Azrea had to say on the matter of potentials for the DNA template. From the sounds of her words, Thrune ensured the finest served under her command, likely something that was inherited by training and philosophies from the Old Empire. The doctrine of the military was still forming, given the lack of resources and facilities to truly train a capable force, but there were still legions of loyal and fanatical soldiers ready to die for the greater cause of the Sith and their desire to renew their presence and power within the galaxy. Garrax and Braji were coordinating, but perhaps Thrune could be a new element that would truly build the army into something.
I would recommend having their files on hand to offer to the Kaminoans. They will likely inquire about the status of possible DNA templates.
Business was business. The Kaminoans would likely be doing their utmost to return to the original status under the cloning industry in the hopes of gaining credits and revenue once more. Of course, the greatest of the nations in the galaxy, the First Order, had its own cloning facilities under its control. Kamino was too far to be of use. He was not aware of the Blackguard Imperium did anything in terms of clones, but perhaps they did.
Tell me, Commander Thrune.
Xitan begins to inquire as he looks out of the viewport at the Nullus Beacon.
Any regrets?

"Merely that you were too slow to discover my cryo pod", she only remarked with dry sarcasm, "The Imperial Remnant that had found me was aside from this so-called First Order and the second remnant under the Inquisitor's command, that would eventually lead to the Diarchy's formation the only Imperial forces I encountered. If there were other warlords, I had forgotten them for they were insignificant. There is at least the chance that this might change, now that your Supreme Leader has recruited me for your cause."
The last sentence was thus far honest, as there was certainly belief in her voice. Azrea was a fanatic in the end, loyal towards the cause of Palpatine and the Empire. What she hadn't found in Torkan and Zariel, she had now accomplished with the help of the Supreme Leader. Something that meant to actually restore the old order of the Empire. As it was always supposed to be.

The swirl of hyperspace passed by as the modified Fury-class Imperial Interceptor blasted its way through the altered reality. Within his chamber, the master of the vessel rested on his knees, meditating on the Force and the rapidly approaching destination. Slow and steady did his massive chest rise and fall as he allowed him to settle into this calm, his own nerves on the verge of running rampant. In his youth, he had been led to believe in his significant potential through his connection to the Force. His imposing frame only seemed to solidify that, for in being a Sith, power was everything. Though he had come to see things in a different light in the fifteen years since his joining of the Iridonian Sith Academy, never before had he felt what he did now. He could sense it, the Dark-side calling to him, drawing him forward from where he had called home for the past seven years. It was exciting and unsettling.
As he knelt there, the ship's comms came to life as a male's voice broke through the silence.
Hey, boss. We should be coming up on our destination in the next minute.
A single heavy sigh was his only response as he pushed himself to his feet, his hands rising to adjust the hood on his head, ensuring none of the horns snagged themselves through their intended openings. HIs a swift turn, he moved from his chamber, his pace casual yet firm as he moved into the cockpit. Falling into the command chair, he set his gaze at the two that sat before him. The pilot was a human male while the co-pilot was a human female. Both had walked with him since his time in the Resurgent Sith Conclave. Once he had obtained the ship and required a crew, they joined up and in those few short years that the Conclave existed, they had come to trust in each other and show loyalty to him over the Sith themselves. So when he left with his former peers to join their first instructor to train in exile, they came with him.
It was then he felt an arm rest upon the left side of his chair. Then third and final member of his crew, a female Pantoran who apparently was draw to him and his power since his earlier years in the Blackguard Reborn. She had followed him as he switched orders and ended up joining his crew after finally expressing her feelings for him. There was always those few women who lusted for power, not simply for themselves, but to feed on it from another, usual a more intimate partner, which they had become.
It wasn't but a few moments later that Jonas spoke again, their destination having been reached.
"Coming out of hyperspace in three, two, one." Pushing up on the hyperspace lever, the ship returned to regular space as the neon blue faded, leaving them in the dark once more aside from the growing planet before them.
It was finally in that moment that the Zabrak spoke. "Roon."
A thoughtful hum escaped the Pantoran's lips as her head tilted and her free hair played with her hair.
"So this is where the Force led you? It was once a world possessed by the Blackguard, but if I heard correctly back with the Conclave it had been taken over by an Imperial warlord. And that was a nearly decade ago. Curious as to why you'd be drawn here now."
"That's is why we are here, Lassix. The only way I'll get my answers is by following the call. Perhaps there is a remnant artifact that calls to me to wield. Maybe there is a location that is still steeped in the Dark-side. Whatever the reason, we will find out soon."
A few beeps were heard as the co-pilot looked over her screen, figuring out what it was the sensors had detected.
"Well, it's as Lass said. I'm picking up Imperial ships. Whoever this warlord is, this little remnant is still kicking. I wouldn't doubt they've picked us up on sensors. Should we hail them?"
There was a small grunt as Duvrax thought on what to do. after a moment, he shook his head as he leaned forward. "No. Press on towards the surface. We'll keep under their radar as much as possible until we figure out what's bringing us here. If we are lucky, we'll find it and be gone before they can pick up our trail."
Jonas nodded as he pressed forward on the controls and increased thrust. If this was what Duvrax wanted, the speed was going to be the key player to start and get them below.
