"Oh my." Cooed the crocodilian as he stepped closer, his lecherous lizard eyes leering at the additional dragons procured for his dastardly delight. He could already imagine quite a few uses. His collection of Ubese thorn-back war dragons made for excellent mounts for the armoured cavalry of the Sith Knights, when utilized on relatively even terrain, but they wouldn't be scaling the sides of castle walls or cliff faces any time soon. Based off the biological characteristics of these new dragons, he suspected they would provde more adept at such tasks. He'd need to begin breeding them immediately. "You ssspoil me, Viggo. I am very glad I remembered to inform the orbital platformz of your arrival. Imagine, if they had blasssted you from the sssky, I would be besssot with disssmay. Sssuch a prize az thessse..." He licked his lips, sopping up the drool that was beginning to pour from between his fangs in steaming ropes of ooze.
Slipping a claw deep within the folds of his man-hide robe, the Dark Apothecary rooted around, searching for his personal data-pad through the plethora of pockets hidden within the cadaverous lining of the corpse cloak. Hmmm, it had to be around here somewhere. Eventually his talons clacked upon the smooth surface of a screen and he extracted the device, holding it out in front of his snout while his bloody right orb narrowed and squinted.
"While I did find the monkey lizardz blood ssspitting to be quite amusssing, Ol'Thrakk here iz a wee bit more ussseful." He dispensed with the deception, be it intentional or simply forgotten as he removed a monocle from his robe and placed it over his natural eye as he examined the data-pad's luminous surface. As his claw came back down, he placed it over his belly, which was protruding slightly between the folds of his gruesome garment. "I feel much sssafer having a ssstrapping bodyguard tag along, essspecially az I will sssoon be due." He patted his belly, looking up at Viggo. "You sssee, Eye willing, I az well will be blesssed with family. I can feel the little nightmarez maturing inssside my womb, eager to emerge and devour sssentient flesh. Sssuch joy." He tapped a claw on the pad, then seemed pleased with what he saw, turning it over and offering it to the beast tamer. "Ah, I believe I have transssferred the appropriate creditz. You may releassse the lava dragonz ssstraight into the volcano. I sssuspect they will find thiz environment adequate. Then once that'z done, we can ssspeak further of what comez next. Az you sssurely mussst imagine, I have few other rare creaturez that currently elude my collection."

Viggo gave a chuckled at the lizard's claim of remembrance though his daughters seemed to think otherwise. "Indeed. I'm sure it would have been a bad day for all of us had such a thing failed to pass your mind. Considering our relationship, perhaps it might be a wise decision to ensure from here on, I'm able to easily arrive at any of the worlds without needing constant permission, wouldn't you say? After all, I'd like to think I provide a valuable service not only to you, but all the other Sith that reside here. Finding men like myself is a rather difficult task. Either too money grubbing or not up for the dangers your requests would bring."
Viggo then looked to Thrakk once more, his true name revealed. "Yes, I'm sure he's far more useful. Had he been around upon our first meeting, there is no telling what problems he could have created over your pet. And he certainly appears more than capable to be a simple bodyguard." An eyebrow was then raised at the mention of Dragus soon having a family. At first, he thought the barabel had simply found a mate, but was quickly proven wrong when he spoke of his own womb. "Fascinating. I was unaware that a male could produce young. Quite a development. But my congratulations, nonetheless. It's amazing to think how having a family can bring an interesting change."
With the credits transferred, Viggo ordered the release of the fireworms into the volcano. "I'm quite curious as to what all you have in store for us. In a galaxy this large, I'm certain that even a being of your desires still is unable to acquire everything you want. But, that is why I exist."

* Though his face was covered, his eyes widened at the mention of Dragus having a spawn of his own. The idea of the Dark Apothecary creating a brood of his own brought a slight worry to the young man's mind. For he knew of the torment and vile that Dragus had spread across the galaxy to appease his insatiable hunger and the lengths the Dark One had gone to complete his alchemic creations. Though he now heeded the teachings of the Sith, Thrakk could quickly see that the path he was on in order to achieve his own goals and vision for the galaxy was doomed to crash head long into whatever Dragus had in store for the future. Having to deal with the Saurian already presented it's own unique problems, but having to manage more horrific creations like his Master would only continue to deepen the odds against him. The young Sith made sure to not let his thoughts venture into the force, and kept up his own mental barriers, he did not want his Master sensing his distress in the matter. After the data pad was given over, and Viggo had finished speaking; Thrakk took the opportunity to make a request of his own as the lava dragons had begun to be released. *
" I do what is required of me Viggo, but I do have a request if you could make an addition to your list "
* Thrakk takes a few steps forward and with his left hand pulls out a small circular holo projector, extending his arm out to hand it to Viggo*
" I am looking to obtain two creatures, a Vornskr from Myrkr and a Tusk Cat from Naboo "

Thrakk's request of Viggo surprised the Great Devourer, who did his best to conceal his pleasure at the prospect, his mismatched gaze looking on the apprentice with a new respect. Too many of his Sithly colleagues eschewed the use of beasts, preferring mechanical droids or plain soldiers instead. Fools, the lot of them. Could they not see the limits of technology? That true power was yielded by living flesh, not soulless automatons. The Master of the Alchemical arts offered the Thyrsian an approving nod of his snout, before continuing to address Viggo."You may add thossse two itemz to my tab, Viggo." He'd be charging it all to the Supreme Leader's account anyways. "Az for my own requessst..." His claw slipped beneath his robe into the depths of his satchel of alchemical supplies, reappearing a second later with a handful of shiny metallic grains of sand. He-Who-Hungers cast the tiny filings into a pool of bubbling magma beside him, causing a fiery curtain of orange flame to rise up, belched from the lake of liquid fire. In the flickering licks of flame shapes appeared, not quite the exact detail of a holo-projector but detailed enough to tell what one was looking at. An enormous muscular predator took form, swimming in watery depths, propelled by a long finned tail. "...if you will already be headed to Naboo, I mussst have a Sssando Aqua Monssster. I actually visssited the world not ssso long ago but never had the opportunity to collect a ssspecimen before I left. One should do, though I'd be essspecially careful in itz collection. I deposssited my darling Sssea Leviathan in the waterz of Naboo on that sssame visssit, which may be lurking around in the depthz where thessse creaturez are found." Using his datapad, he transferred Viggo a set of coordinates in the northern hemisphere of Kamino, deep ocean territory where the Sith Eternal maintained a secret black site known as Hydra Station. "Delivery will be made to Kamino. You will find the path through the Rishi Maze open to you, though do watch out for schoolz of Neebray, who will be making their ssstellar migration through the region thiz time of year."Taking another claw full of alchemical powder, the drake lord again cast the gritty shimmering particles into the magma, causing a new pillar to rise up, hallucinatory shapes dancing in the fiery veil. A scaly quadrupedal creature with a large bone plate on its head, a beaked snout, and a long tongue appeared."Thiz iz what'z known az a droidbreaker, whossse diet primarily consistz of plasssteel and metal alloy. I require a full herd of them, a hundred steerz, though two hundred would be better. I am told they hail from the planet of Belgaroth in the Core, though I'm unaware of itz current statuz or political leaningz, not that sssuch a thing would hamper a man of your exceptional charm. Siss, Siss, Siss." He turned away from the flaming column as it sunk back into the boiling depths. "They are to be delivered to Hypori, az a gift for a dear colleague of mine: the Demon Lord, Valefor the Red. He recently performed a ssservice for me and I wish to show him my deepessst appreciation for hiz arduouz labourz."

* Thrakk gives a curt nod to his Master after the Dark Apothecary offers to place the beasts on his own tab with the Beast Catcher. He had never been one to think of the uses of creatures for his own devices, but under his so far brief stint with Dragus; he could plainly see how useful they could be. Once he had his two specimens, he would ask his Master to use his Sith magic and cloning skill to hybridize the two creatures he sought after. He would then have a pack of fierce force hunting creatures at his disposal to use in whatever ventures Dragus would task him with. Soon those he hunted would fear his name and the coming of his Tusk'vory lions, nothing would be able to escape his pursuit.
Thrakk waits patiently for the dealings with Viggo to be completed so that he may continue his Sith right of passage within the depths of Mt.Tawntoom *

Viggo looked over to Thrakk as he made his own request. Taking the holoprojector, he activated it, cycling through the two creatures as the Sith spoke of them. Some familiar prey, though not necessary easy ones. He gave a smirk as he nodded. "Ah, some familiar beasts. One must never forget those of the earliest hunts. They'll be easy to capture, all things considered. Would you like them returned here or at another facility?"
As Dragus began his display, he couldn't help but chuckle at the saurian Sith's fancy display in place of a holodevice. He observed the pair of creatures requested of him in relative silence, taking the bit of information given and forming some thoughts as to their acquisition. An eyebrow then raised at the mention of a creature having been left there."You do so enjoy giving me a challenge, don't you Dragus. Tell me, would you prefer your pet left unharmed? Need to be sure so I know how to formulate our approach." He then nodded in response to the drop off points and planets where they all resided. "Not a problem. There is a reason I employ cloaking devices on my vessels. Let's me get planet side of anywhere I desire."
He then looked back to Dragus with a more serious note. "Now regarding my pay. I had informed the chancellor on Ryloth of alternate means of payments. Not sure if they reached you, but allow me to offer the alternative to you directly. For this trip, we can forgo the usual credits. In exchange, three devices that I can use upon my ships to ensure beasts are kept pacified. One can't expect me to use my power at all times on every creature for days on end, can we? The original request had been for two, but was given a wonderful surprise by my brother in a third ship. Alongside that, the ability to freely visit the worlds controlled by the Sith and the freedom to hunt its fauna, be it for myself and my business or for your purposes. If these terms are not agreeable, we can continue with traditional payment."

Viggo's request was agreeable, and facilitated easily enough. It was also a lot less likely to earn the Dark Apothecary the further ire of his benefactor for digging his claw deep into the Sith Eternal's collective purse. There were some that might balk at the prospect of allowing an outsider access to SE held territory, but every Sith Lord worth his salt had their own agents, requiring a certain degree of independent movement.
"I find your termz..." He crossed his arms over his chest, just above the bump in his swollen belly that seemed to writhe beneath his scales of its own volition. "...acceptable. Granting sssuch accesss iz within my authority, which iz sssecond only to our illustriouz leader. Give me a few dayz and I shall have the appropriate clearance codez forwarded to your inbox, along with a letter of marque to operate unmolesssted within the borderz of our Empire. Az for the three devicez..." The reprehensible reptile hissed, dragging a forked tongue across his bleeding lips. "...you have arrived at a fortuitouz time. My companion and I here were jussst about to perform a feat of alchemy on the anvil ssset up behind me. I had planned to forge a weapon, but we can be ssset to the tasssk of creating the itemz of which you ssspeak, talismanz of arcane might to shackle the primitive beassst brainz of captured prey. It iz within my knowledge to do ssso, but a price mussst be paid to imbue the amuletz with sorcerouz power and bind a ssspell to their physssical fabric." Twisting upwards, the Famine Lord's fangs split apart in a horrific grin. "A blood sssacrifice."
Dragus looked past Viggo, focusing his mismatched attention on the huntsman's two lovely daughters. The captured reflection of each appeared in the despicable draconian's amethyst ocular gem, while the slit pupil in his bloody right eye constricted into a narrow slash. Would he possibly consider...no, perhaps not. Still, it was certainly delightful to imagine. Breaking his locked gaze, the Blood Wyrm returned his attention to the beast tamer. Sliding a claw down into the alchemy satchel riding on the saurian Sith's left hip, the black scaled barabel retrieved his comlink device, holding it in his claw below his snout.
"Your intuition iz accurate, my friend. I would prefer the Sssea Leviathan remain unharmed, ssso in exchange for your due diligence, I will provide the fuel for thiz tasssk..." A leathery creak sounded from his cheeks as his grin stretched just a bit further, till the scales of his snout looked as though they might crack apart. "...thiz time. Siss, Siss, Siss." A sinister throaty wet cackle worked its way up from the demonic drake's throat, and he pressed a thumb to the comlink, turning it on. "Dark Apothecary to Tawntoom facility, I require three Sssith initiatez at the bassse of the volcanic caldera. The sssooner the better."
There was a crackle of static from the speaker, and then... Copy that, Lord Dragus. Dispatching them to your position now."
"Excellent." Exclaimed the Hungering One, looking over his shoulder at his Thyrsian comrade. "I'd limber up, Thrakk. You will be the one wielding the hammer."

* Thrakk gripped the hammer tightly with both hands getting a feel for it in his wrapped hands. It was heavy and for a regular humanoid, possibly seen as unwieldly. For the young Sith though it was just another challenge set before him by his Master. He would use his own strength and endurance amplified by the darkside to use the great Hammer for whatever Dragus had in mind. *

Viggo listened with a pleased smile hearing that his request was reasonable. In truth, he did not know of the actual process nor the cost of it on crafting these devices. For all he knew, such a thing was far more expensive than the credits he was currently being paid. If it was the case, he would have understood and kept to a standard arrangement. He was not in the neighborhood for upsetting a client such as a Sith.
However, his head dropped slightly as he eyed the barabel at the mention of a blood sacrifice. It wasn’t, though, the fact it was a thing so much as he noticed Dragus looking to his daughters. Had such a thing been suggested, or even if any of his men were requested, he would have shut the idea down completely. It was difficult finding men that rose to his expectations. He valued their lives and their skills and his daughters were certainly no exception. Luckily, the idea was never brought up. Whether it was a simple ploy to see what reaction Viggo would give or Dragus knew what the answer would be didn’t matter. He was just thankful that the Sith would provide the sacrifices. He still wasn’t fond of the idea of one’s own men being thrown away like that, but he would not question the Sith, their motives, or their ways.
"I’m glad that such request are reasonable. I’ll admit that I was a touch worried that such devices would be more costly than the usual pay. I’ll certainly ensure that your pet his as unbothered as possible. Perhaps we’ll bring something to eat. Give it a treat of something outside its normal palette perhaps?"
It was quite the surprise, though, that Dragus was willing to jump straight into crafting the devices. "You needn’t put aside any task you had intended for the sake of these devices, though I do appreciate it. Surely, they can wait for another day. Yet, if you insist, I certainly won’t complain."

"Nonsssense." Dragus waved a claw dismissively. "It mussst be now. I have ssstudied the entrailz and the portentz are mossst favourable thiz very day, nor will there be a celessstial alignment thiz conducive to the alchemical craft for at leassst another calendar year." Raising his claws to his hood, he hooked talons under the hem and pulled back the cowl of man-flesh to expose his naked scaled scalp. The rakatan device implanted in his left socket blazed brightly with an amethyst light, its brilliance greater even than the boiling lake of fire that surrounded them. Lowering his arms, he flexed his talons in a series of sinuous pops, assisting the circulation of cold blood within his extremities as he began to channel the currents of the malevolent fey. Blue forks of lightning danced between his talon tips, scorching his scaly palms black and causing smoke to curl around his claws. "Let uz begin."Focusing the incredible might of his magnificent mind, the scaled sorcerer formed his thoughts into words and images, which he cast to the winds of the Force like autumn leaves caught in a fall breeze. He mentally probed the burning depths of Mt. Tawntoom, whispering a sweet sirens call to the creatures that now resided in the boiling pond of liquid rock, summoning the male of the two lava dragons lurking in the fiery waters. It came swiftly, slithering its way through the caldera's churning stomach, emerging from the fire licked surface to rise two dozen feet in the air. Magma sluiced off its shimmering diamond scales, spewing embers as it slopped back into the lake. As the beast breathed, sulphur blew in long geysers from its snout, washing the Dark Apothecary in brimstone fumes as he remained the sole focus of the fire wyrm. To stare snout to snout with such a wonderous work of nature's fine art, many would tremble in fear, but not the Great Devourer. If he felt any sense at all, it was an immense awe that threatened to make the saurian Sith weep in joy at the sheer beauty of what he beheld. He held back those tears though, as he stood opposite the flame drake, exuding only his terrible aura of unfathomable hunger and insatiable thirst. Even the lava dragon could tell that it was in the presence of a vicious predator with a horrific appetite. Centering his thoughts, the ruthless reptilian broadcast an image from his mind to the dragon's, showing it a vision with remarkable clarity of a glimmering orange gem that shone with an inner fire. Sadistically, He-Who-Hungers seared that image into the mind of the drake, branding it to the wyrm's thoughts before giving his direction, a single word uttered into the fey thick with compulsion.<<< FIND! >>> Understanding and...fear, perhaps, formed in the fire wyrm's slit saurian eyes. It shuddered and shrieked a waling cry loud enough to crack transparasteel, then began to retract back into the liquid depths of the boiling lake, slithering into the magma sludge as it went about the mad alchemist's instruction. When it had vanished from sight, the vile crocodile in his man-skin cloak turned to the anvil, extending a single claw towards the soot stained dirt next to it. He sharpened his will into a telekinetic claw and swept his arm across his chest, gouging the earth with an invisible hand that left a small trench in the island's surface, no more than three feet across and a foot deep. He repeated the same gesture and exertion with his other claw, tearing a second furrow in the ground to the exact same specifications as the first. He then closed the scaled lid of his right eye and raised both his claws, as electrical forks crackled from the end of his obsidian meat hooks and leapt towards the first hole in the ground, blistering the dirt to molten slag that wept contrails of smoke as the lightning ceased. The first of the two trenches had been transmuted into dragon glass, smooth and sealed to prevent whatever he intended to fill it with from leaking into the acidic soil. Upturning his right palm, the barabel blacksmith seized flaming rocks from the island's edge and lifted them with his mind, floating the rough orange stones over to the second trench. He dropped them into the dirt, letting them sit there like coals at the bottom of a camp-fire.It was about this time that the whine of a repulsor engine could be heard echoing across the caldera walls as an air-speeder descended towards the island they stood upon. The wizard lizard paid it no mind, already compelled to perform his next feat of extraordinary skill and strength. On either side of his scaly snout, the nostril slits flared as he sucked in a sulphurous breath, his right eye snapping open to glare into the lake of fire, piercing the hidden layers, seeking the purest substance of all found within the boiling broth of mixed metals. Iron, he sought iron. Steel might be stronger, duranium more heat resistant, neuranium more dense, bronzium more malleable...but iron was elemental, a product of nature that served as the perfect canvas to imbue Force energy and capture the the complex weave of his spellcraft. Gold was the best conduit for conveying unworldly magics, but these totems needed to shackle the will of beasts, the strain placed on them would be great. They needed to be forged from something sturdy and unyielding. Iron was best. The purity of iron spoke to Dragus, he heard its sweet melody despite the many impurities in the burning pit, and he separated them with the sheer will of thought and the power of his sorcerous might. His claws wove through the air, drawing of molten stream from the lake that twisted around him like a blazing orange serpent, telekinetically shaped into an uneven orb no bigger than a shockball that hovered above the anvil. As the burning hunk of molten iron floated in front of him, the malevolent master of the alchemical arts sucked in a deep breath down his throat until his entire body seemed to expand, then exhaled out his mouth. Noxious vapours erupted from his maw like bellows fanning a flame, rapidly cooling the molten iron into a hardened hunk of metal, though leaving it hot enough to be workable with a smiths hammer. When the Famine Lord was all of out air, he released his hold on the iron ingot, and let it drop onto the anvils surface with a clang. His right eye stretched wide with an artist's eccentricity. The Dark Apothecary turned next to Thrakk, his constant companion since the fall of Kessel to the forces of the Sith Eternal war machine. "Now, little brother..." He growled, clearly speaking to the Thyrsian but conveying a title of familial affection, forgoing rank in favour of something a bit more endearing. "...it iz your turn. The hammer you carry waz a gift from the Eye to itz chosssen servantz, a conduit of darkssside energy to imbue a forge-workerz craft with the invisssible energiez that bind all living thingz. You will focuz your anger and your sssorrow, your pain and your ambition, all of it into the hell-forge'z hammer. You have what you need." With a flick of a talon, he motioned towards a set of unremarkable tongs leaning against the anvil, which itself seemed to still resonate with a wicked tone from the glowing iron resting on its surface. "Give it shape. An amulet, a disssc or a rectangle, nothing much larger than your hand. You are the artissst, you decide how it will appear, but leave a ssspace in the centre for a crystal. My new pet should be returning with three very shortly. Remember, we mussst make three of thessse talismanz. Do not expend your entire ressservoir of ssstrength on thiz firssst one. Draw sssustenance from the darkside'z taint of thiz world, and remember how the Jedi have misssled and failed you. Hate iz a hammer, wield it."Leaving the apprentice to his task, the demented draconian stepped away from the anvil and walked towards a trio of Sith that emerged from the recently landed air-speeder. They were all young, pale faced humans of Roon, barely at the cusp of manhood. Initiates, aspiring Sith with fever dreams of power and conquest. Like many within the ranks of the Empire, it was their hope to one day reach the heights of the high council, to serve the Supreme Leader as masters and rulers of the legions of Nu-Jakes that were destined to cleanse the galaxy of the unworthy and weak. Dragus sniffed, detecting the aroma of fresh sweat from the sparring pits, where no doubt the acolyte Xitan had been putting the youth through their paces. They stood rigid, hands clasped behind their backs, chins up and eyes forwards. The black scaled barabel paced in front of them, back and forth, until finally he stopped in place even as his body continued the rhythmic motion. His shoulders swayed left... ...his tail swayed right. His tail swayed left... ...then he shoulders swayed right. Over and over again, like a serpent charmer hypnotizing a snake. Black lips of of the leach lord's mouth pealed apart to reveal the wicked rows of razor sharp teeth that occupied his opening maw, serrated incisors that glistened wetly and gleamed in the fire light like a forest of thorny daggers. A forked tongue, uncomfortably long, slithered from the back of his throat and darted out a full foot from the end of his snout. It flicked the air, misting the space between the mad alchemist and the initiates with crimson flecks of blood, soiling the black robes of the three dutiful Sith. "Welcome, loyal servantz of the Eternal throne. Thank you for your quick attendance, you are all mossst exemplary examplez of the Empire'z mossst devout." It was then that the hungry grin that split the hateful Hakusar's villainous visage twisted downwards into a sneering frown of utter displeasure, the scales on his snout bunching with fury and his right eye going wide with madness. "But obedience iz not enough. Your oathz are nothing without faith, which iz where my fellow Sssith have failed you." He shook his snout and placed a claw on the shoulder of the Sith youth furthest to the right, who looked at the limb with forming concern before locking his eyes forwards again. "The dogma they teach you iz liez, the mad ramblingz of falssse prophetz. There are no three emperorz worth your worship, only one. He who gave uz the Eye, hiz perfect creation, who will one day return from chaoz to reclaim hiz throne and lord over a galaxy of the dead." In an instant, his talons sank into the meat of the Sith initiates shoulder, tearing into the muscle until bled wept from the wounds and made his fingers sticky and wet. "Arg!" The Sith cried out, causing his fellows to panic with fear, until a single look from the Dark Apothecary froze them in place. His thoughts were like lead weights on their wills, freezing them like horrified statues unable to escape their fate. Then he returned his gaze to the initiate in pain, grinding his talons against the young man's clavicle bone, scraping the enamel. He raised his other claw and placed a talon to the groaning Sith's quivering lips. "Ssshhh." His hungry, heinous, horrific grin returned. "Ssstruggling will only make it worssse. Siss, Siss, Siss." A throaty cackle erupted from his throat, bursting blood bubbles as he gargled wetly, then began his terrible work. Removing the claw from the initiate's lips, He-Who-Hungers used his manipulation of alchemy to draw the very blood from the young man's veins, causing it to pour out his eyes, ears, and mouth in a flowing crimson stream. He sent the cascade of winding red vitae into the glass trench he had created on the ground next to the anvil, filling it with liquid blood that bubbled in its warm reservoir. He did this until the last drop was drained from the servant, leaving a bloodless husk in his claw, which he sent sprawling into the second trench with the burning rocks. So hot were the coals that the bloodless boy immediately erupted in flame, robes alight and meat quickly crackling to ash. Human kindling, to warm the iron ingot between being worked over on the anvil, and a blood pool in which to cool it once the iron amulet was ready to be properly hardened."Heh ha ha ha heh ha ha! What fun!" Snarled the demonic drake lord, placing his claws on the shoulders of the remaining two Sith, forcing them to their knees. He looked over his shoulder at Viggo and his daughters, beckoning them closer with a flick of his blade tipped tail. "I'm glad you could be here for thiz, my friendz. The art iz made better by an audience. Heh ha ha ha ha!"

* A the hammer falls the first of mighty clangs resonates from the island in the lava pool, echoing off of the wall of Mt.Tawntoom. Over and over again, Thrakk swings the dark side imbued hammer into the ore on the pedestal before. The work was beyond draining, sweat began to pour from his brow; his arms beginning to tremble from each swing. Not only taxing on the body but the young Sith could feel his own force essence being drawn from him to fuel the mighty hammer. He did not want to give in an use the power of the darkness that emanated from the planet, he wanted to do this on his own. After the first talisman is completed, Thrakk drops the hammer to pick the small circlet up, the metal burning the wraps on his hand. He hands it over to Dragus and begins his work on the second. Time seemed to slow at his worked, his mind feeling the warping surgency of what seemed like eons. If he kept this up, he would not be able to create a third. He had to give in to the darkness, like he had done before with the leviathan, like he did on Kessel before that.
Opening himself to the malevolence of the planet's darkness, Thrakk could feel the tendrils of the darkside grab hold of him and seep deep into his core. HIs anger and pain fueling the power within. Faster the hammer came down and with more force than before, his strikes quickened as he let the darkness take over. The third and final amulet finally taking shape. With a final clang, the amulet was completed. His creation reflected perfection and permeated with the darkside of the force, the hammer falling from his grasp a final time; creating cracks in the rock below and wisps of black ethereal smoke emanated from it. Thrakk turns handing the last two amulets over to Dragus, breathing heavily.
" It is done...they are complete, Master "

Viggo gave a nod. "Very well. Far be it from me to deny such an opportunity."
Stepping forward, Viggo allowed his hand to slip behind him, his head lifting as he watched what was to come. He didn't know about celestial alignment Dragus spoke of, but it was chance for him to witness and truly feel the power of the Force flowing in their work. He was amazed at how quickly the Famine Lord was able to call upon the new fireworms and bend them to his will, seeking an item for the ritual. Such skill that was beyond Viggo's understanding, despite it simplicity to carve out the small pits, then sealing the dirt by way of lightning. He had heard of such abilities, but to use them with such utility, perhaps down the line, it would be something to learn himself. Failing that, perhaps his daughters could be allowed to train here, if only for a little while, so to learn about their own powers better. His own teaching was minimal for what little he could gather. For a simple hunter, it was more than enough. But aligning with the Sith to such a degree, perhaps it would be best for Astrid and Kareena to train as warriors as well. That way they could defend themselves should they face more than a beast.
It wasn't long until the initiates arrived and blood was spilled. It wasn't even a quick death, rather torturous and slow. He never looked away, though his daughter did, not wanting to see such savagery.
<<No, my daughters. Do not avert your gaze. Look upon these actions, face the cruelty of this world at its highest peaks. See where primal and intellectual meet, where morality is stripped away, and all is laid bare to do as one wished without inhibitions. Watch, learn, and pray that for such a beast you never have to hunt. Doing so you would have sacrifice all that you are to meet him at his level and still carry only hope that you are the greater predator.>>
With reluctance, they did as their father instructed and continued to watch as Dragus gleefully let the blood flow from the three, letting them fill the one hole before being tossed without care into the burning coals. It wasn't long before he was finished, though it might have felt otherwise. Soon, it turned to Thrakk. Drawing first on his own power, then that of the planet around them, the darkness surged within him as he pounded away with the hammer, crafting the devices Viggo desired.
In time, the man had finished. Viggo had allowed himself to revel in the power that coursed around him, yet all had been finished, or quite nearly. Still, he remained quiet as the pair continued their work.

Magma bubbled at the small island's edge about the time the Thyrsian completed the last amulet, preceding a fiery eruption as the lava dragon returned and burst from the surface of the boiling lake of fire, embers and globs of liquid rock sparking off the drake's diamond scales. Its ferocious jaws split apart to reveal a maw full of glinting teeth, black smoke coiling around its snout, blown in sulphurous geysers from the beast's nostrils that caused the Dark Apothecary's man-hide robe to blow as though animated by geo-thermic winds. A bright orange light intensified in the Fire Wyrm's belly as it appeared to wretch, a fat balloon inside its exposed length rose from the depths until it reached the draconian's throat and spewed in a voluminous stream onto the islands's scorched sands. As lava slid back into the lake from the steaming puddle of magma bile, glowing orange crystals were sifted by the sand, left in an orderly pile for the Great Devourer's inspection. Kneeling next to the glowing pile, Dragus reached towards the pile of stones and plucked one sizzling rock from the stack, pinching it between two curling lengths of talon. Lava crystals, there was no question. The stones resonated at the same frequency of Force harmonics as a Kyber crystal, possessing similar attributes, though having adopted the properties of its environment. They would serve suitably for the purpose he intended for them. Selecting only three, he ignored the rest of the pile of crystals and worked his way over to the forge, inspecting Thrakk's work.
"Not bad." Commented the crooked crocodilian as he wrapped his talons around one of the amulets, bringing it close to the amethyst lens of his rakatan ocular implant. The gizmos inside whirred in a mechanical tone as he studied the object in his claw. "Not great either." Truthfully it was rather exceptional work, especially given that it was Thrakk's first time; however, it was against the scheming saurian's bitter nature to offer praise for any work not his own, thus he downplayed the obvious talent his apprentice had exhibited. "But I've definitely ssseen worssse. They'll sssuffice." He then took all three amulets and laid them flat across the top of the anvil, then took a step back, extending his claws out to his sides with his scaly palms turned towards the dark sulphur clouded sky overhead. The three lava crystals resting on his right palm bled smoke and sizzled, blistering his scales and sending a rivulet of pain through his extremities, exciting his senses and sharpening his mind.
Quick as a viper strike, the Famine Lord's left claw slipped within the fleshy folds of his cadaverous cloak and withdrew a furry tome attached to his alchemy satchel by a long slender length of Sith iron chain. The thick book was bound in ewok hide, which was appropriate given the name the dastardly dread lizard had given his personal grimoire...the Ewokinomicon. The nefarious tome was a repository for the Pater Mutatis' collective knowledge of the Alchemical Arts. Within the pages of the Ewokinomicon lurked the secrets to breed horrific sithspawn and brew malicious poisons, to bind spirits and transmute metal, detailed explanations of how best to pervert the natural order of the universe. Singlehandedly cracking the fuzzy volume open, pages of supple twi'lek vellum flew open until the book landed on the page Dragus desired, an insensible series of claw scratches written in the mad language of Pzobian blackscript, inked in the blood of hannite virgins. Opening the tome also caused an acrid grey smoke to pour from the book, coalescing into a cloud above its pages that began to take the shape of a bipedal bear with glowing red eyes that shone like burning coals. Bound to the sorcerous tome, the smoke demon affectionately referred to as Smokey, hovered behind the fur covered grimoire and held it aloft for the wizard lizard.
Dragus brought his claws together in a loud clap, sandwiching the three lava stones between his palms as he focused his mind and began to reach deeply into the wellspring of infinite hate to channel the currents of the malevolent fey, allowing the corrupting ethereal river to flow through his already very tainted body. A glimmer of his gleaming fangs could just be seen through the saurian Sith's muttering black lips as he began to recite and indecipherable mantra of arcane power from the floating tome, laying the ground work for the spell he was weaving into the molecular tapestry of each crystal. Similar to how the Tasari people first created the Tasar crystals, the blood sacrifice of the three Sith initiates had served as the fodder needed to permanently bind a Force attribute to the crystals. If anything the Famine Lord had fine tuned the ritual by incorporating ewok shamanistic practices into the craft. Transmogrifying energy and matter, he bound the crystals to the amulets using the fleeing life force of the expiring Sith initiates, transforming each identical totem into a psychic transmitter of wills. Lifting the three amulets from the anvil, the Great Devourer swore he could hear the tortured soul shrieks of the Sith who spiritual energy was fed into each device.
Closing the Ewokinomicon, Smokey disappeared in a puff of smoke, dispelling into the air as though he'd never been there at all. He-Who-Hungers stuffed the book back into his bag and brought the talismans over to Viggo, offering them to the beast tamer.
"There, three devicez, az promisssed." His lips peeled back into a hungry smile. "Thessse amuletz are attuned to the mindz of beastz. Whoever wieldz them need only expresss their desssire and the amulet transmitz thossse intentionz az an irresssistible command, allowing beassst mindz to be tamed and dominated with eassse." The connection also worked both ways, meaning that a beast with a powerful enough mind would be able to turn that connection back on the amulet wielder, but the Dark Apothecary chose to omit that unimportant detail. Besides that paled in comparison to the fact that whoever used the amulets would begin to hear the Famine Lord's vile whispers in their thoughts, encouraging their conscience to engage in increasingly vile acts of depravity.

Viggo continued to watch as Dragus retrieved the crystals from the fireworm and pressed forward with the ritual in the amulets' creation. He understood none of what was transpiring, the words spoken or the need for the book. All he could do was watch and trust in the work. In time, it was finished as Dragus handed them to the hunter. He looked them over as the lizard explained what they would do. Viggo gave a nod before looking back to the Saurian Sith.
"They are most certainly exceptional. They will, indeed, be a great boon to our work. Some beats are much harder to be brought to yield than others. You have my thanks."

* Thrakk does his best to keep his composure under the weight of the sheer exhaustion that now fatigued from creating the three talismans. His body was still not yet fully accustomed to the strain that comes with ones use of the darkside of the force. With his eyes beginning to burn from the droplets of sweat creeping into them, he hadn't even noticed that his robes had grown damp as well. With ever ragged breath he took through his face covering his throat and lungs burns from the acrid air inside of Mt. Tawntoom. His brow furrows as he brings together all his mental fortitude and continues to push himself forward. He would break free of the chains of limitation and would not be held back, he couldn't, especially after coming this far.
Thrakk watches as the Dark Apothecary presents the talismans to Viggo and listens to their exchange, once their business was concluded, the young Sith would ask for permission to create a crystal of his own to power his lightsaber. A final tribute to the darkside and true showing of his commitment. *

"Think nothing of it." Replied the vile space crocodile with a dismissive wave of his claw, less obviously drained by his exertions, though depleted all the same. "Your track record of reliability makez our businesss relationship worth maintaining, my dearessst Viggo. You'd be sssurprised how many private contractorz fail to return from the errandz I've sssent them on. What'z that expression? Good help iz hard to find, hmmm. Ssso true. Siss, Siss, Siss." Dragus cackled.
Snickering he stalked his way over to Thrakk's side, sensing the apprentice's exhaustion, whilst simultaneously smelling the sweat salting his robes with briny moisture. They still had their own errand before either one would be leaving the volcanic caldera. Around them, the lake of fire continued to bubble violently, slightly more active than when they'd first arrived. Channeling the corrupting currents of the darkside was clearly having an adverse reaction to the natural world around them.
"Now off with you, my able-bodied agent. What happenz here next iz for Sssith eyez only." He hissed maniacally, licking his lips as he focused his attention of the Thyrsian. "Thrakk ssstill haz a trial to face and an oath to ssswear."

* His eyes peering from under the lip of his hood matched the colors of the lake of fire that surrounded them, even as tired as he was Thrakk's connection to the force and that of the darkside remained strong. His body was truly starting to adapt to the usage of the darkness, forfeiting the ways of light to embrace the new power that had grown within him. Lifting the hood from his head and pulling down his face covering, Thrakk stares at Viggo and his daughters with an impatiently deadly intent. He had taken part in the banter and taken part in the business exchange; but now that was all over. *
He was so close now that whatever beast laid dormant within him was truly coming to the surface, the nexus of darkside power within the planet constantly exposed to him had made his conversion no longer trivial but fully attuned now. He would be Sith, He would rule as Sith, and the power would be his as Sith.*

Viggo have a nod, lifting a hand as he did so. With that sole action, his men began to retreat to their hover vehicles as Viggo gave a final bow of his head. "Of course. Business beckons after all. Good day gentlemen."
Turning, he headed back towards his crew and departed the volcano, giving out orders as they left. Ryker and his daughters would take the Shellfire to Belgaroth for the droidbreakers while he handled the rest. Joining their specified ships, the vessels returned to orbit and disappeared into hyperspace.

Following Viggo's departure, Famine's attention once more turned towards the apprentice he had led with him into the furious mouth of the volcanic crater, both Sith slowly cooking within the oppressive heat of the bubbling caldera. The edges of his robes had already started to fray as the coals on the island beach licked them with flame, wreathing the dastardly drake in a cloak of smoke that reeked of cooked human flesh. Dragus' mismatched gaze peered luminously through the veil of choking wisps wafting up from within the folds of his man-hide outfit, studying the Thyrsian beside him for a moment, before addressing the aspiring Sith as the two watched the the beast tamer's ships disappear from sight.
"Viggo iz a mossst ussseful assset." Admitted the Dark Apothecary, as his cheeks stretched and creaked as his lips split into a smoke obscured sneer. "Ussseful, and dangerouz. The loyalty of thossse whossse servicez can be purchasssed with coin will alwayz be fickle at bessst. We can rely on him to perform hiz role becaussse doing ssso iz to hiz benefit, but what if he received a better offer? Hmmm? Could he be counted upon to continue to act in our bessst interessst?" Reaching into his alchemy satchel, the black scaled barabel retrieved his signature pipe and began to clean out the residual ash from the bowl, using a crooked talon to scrape away the sticky resin adhered to its surface. "The anssswer iz no. There may well come a day when the risssk of our asssociation outweighz the benefit of hiz resourcefulnesss. In the event of that, it iz bessst to have contingenciez in place." His forked tongue flicked out from behind his fangs as his sinister smile split his villainous visage, catching soot flakes as it flicked back and forth in the air, misting the space between them with crimson blood flecks. "Our dearessst Viggo will find thossse amuletz we sssupplied to be mossst ussseful to hiz professsion, and will work much az advertisssed, if posssesssing a few unssspoken...mmm, quirkz, shall we sssay? Siss, Siss, Siss!"
Unwinding the tie on a small palm sized pouch, the saurian Sith packed the bowl of his pipe with darkside snuff, appearing much like powdered blood as the alchemical process that refined the glitterstim changed its colour from orange to red. The creative crocodilian only needed to briefly bend down and hold the contents of the pipe near the shore of the flaming lake to cause the powder inside to immolate. Straightening, he slid the stem into the right corner of his mouth and began to puff away, exhaling narcotic clouds that mixed with the smoke pouring out of his smouldering soot stained robe.
"Tiz a lessson, I think." His snout bobbed in an affirming nod. "Fortunez fluctuate and falter over time. Obedience purchasssed iz az brittle and fractiouz az cracked kindling, but obedience bound by faith? That iz an unbending iron rod. Not unbreakable, of courssse, but far lesss malleable a thing." Inhaling deeply, the drake lord's body seemed to swell beneath his cadaverous cloak, until he inevitably exhaled a cloud of noxious sulphur. "Now, tell me lad, have you come to a decisssion? Hmmm? What weapon iz fit for your hand? With what will you make yourssself known to your enemiez? Ssspeak, and together, we shall shape your mindz image into reality."

* The Famine Lord's words resonate within him for even though the topic was focused on the loyalty of Viggo, Thrakk could not help but feel a slight stab hidden between the message his Master spoke. For was it not the same with him ? He was not led to service by faith nor did he have an unbending loyalty to the Dark Apothecary. Surely Dragus knew that, he had to have, as all Sith know it. Thrakk was purely here to pursue his own allure to the darkside and to seek the power to further his own designs, and in turn Dragus obtains the use of another minion to do his bidding, But for how long? How long would the present mutually beneficial arrangement of Master and Apprentice be? Before either himself or the Famine Lord make their move against one another. Or perhaps he finds another to align himself with and still finds an enemy in the Great Devourer, if not all but most outcomes of this partnership will result in not an amicable parting of ways. Then again one could say that that is the destiny of those who follow the darkside, destined to continue the cycle of fear, anger and hate that powered the darkness that they all so desperately tried to harness and control, to become the Master. Thrakk did what he could to suppress these thoughts and concerns and keep focused on the task at hand.
The lake of fire in the center pit of Mt. Tawntoom seemed to come alive as both Thrakk and Dragus freely took hold of the darkside around them, the volcanic embers and smoke swirling around them as the heat began to increase. There were no distractions now, just two force users attuned the power around them, two Sith bending the darkside to their will, A Master that held the power and an Apprentice the Crave it. Thrakk turns meeting his Master's gaze as the Saurian finishes lighting his pipe, his own eyes a perfect mirror of the flames around him. At this instance it was if their two darkside energies began to clash and then become one, with the whole of the volcano starting the thrum around with the resonance of the darkside. *
" I seek to keep my lightsaber, I wish to create new crystal for my weapon. It is what I want to continue to carry "
* As the words left his mouth Dragus would notice that Thrakks voice was now slightly lower as if an exotic presence had eerily slipped its way into the decibels of his words. Thrakk unclipped his lightsaber from his belt and with the push of a sequence of buttons the crystal ejected from the pommel. With the flick of his wrist, the young Sith Apprentice cast the crystal in the maw of Mt. Tawntoom, discarding his last vestige of the lightside, his last connection to the Jedi *
