"I have not. Though this surely explains much of your malice and cold feelings towards me." He bows slightly. "I hope I can prove trustworthy to you." He began to pace around the cargo bay in thought, keeping his arms held together. "As for escaping i'm not entirely sure." Jwur looks to the prisoner. "Hello there." He kneels down looking at him. "I assume you come from the side of our enemy. Might you be able to share any information with us that would help us escape?" He cocked his head slightly, keeping his large eyes focused on the wounded man. "We can try to keep you safe, and help you escape the clutches of your dominating superiors." He turned his head back towards Randolph. "Besides i'm sure we would all like a way off of this planet that doesn't involve starting a war with only a handful of warriors in which to do battle."

In truth a war with only a handful of warriors sounded pretty okay with him right about now. If they ever got off this planet either himself or Randy the captured Imperial were going to suffer the wrath of his employer. If he were to fall on this planet it would be nothing to him, he would be going to meet Kad in the afterlife. We can only hope you live up to the legend that are the Jedi
Looking between the Jedi and the Mandalorian the Imperials eyes showed only fear and hatred in them. I dont buy what you are saying Alien. You think I want to get off this world? I chose this planet. He resisted the urge to strike out at the Jedi, or do what little his bonds would allow him too. He was captured, alone and far away from any friendly forces. It wouldn't do well to antagonize his captures. We started a war to take this planet and now I just want to keep it safe, and if that means getting you off the planet then so be it. So how do I get a traitor, a Mandalorian and whatever the kriff you are out of here.

"By saying you started a war to take this planet, you lose all rights to say you want to defend it. You antagonize the people, dominate and control with fear. I have seen your kind before, many times. One day you will see the people's wrath as they rise against you. Fear can only hold them at bay for so long." Jwur stands and takes a step back. "Now i've tried playing nice" he points to Randy's leg "And i'm sure that was as nice as my Mandalorian ally here can get. Now, how can we most easily leave this planet without detection? Any holes or flaws in your security, relevant or not, would be most appreciated as well. Do as such, and i'll try to make sure you stay alive considering you have an skilled soldier who would love a good fight, and a bounty hunter in the cockpit who very much need this information."

Rolling his eyes listening to the Jedi prattle on he stood there. He had seen enough holos to know a good cop bad cop routine. He should interject and threaten the Imperial or something but it seemed like he was willing to let them leave without it. He would rather just take a knife and carve out some answers. It would have helped but his mind at ease, this was too easy he was being too forthcoming. Or willing to be anyway.
Why not? We may have started the war but the Alliance gave up on these people. They signed them over without a second thought, as if they were just a Dejarik piece that was useless to the bigger game. The only ones who cared for these people, who continue to care for them is the Empire. Thinking for a moment he smiled at the Jedi. The best way to get you off world is with a Imperial IDF signature for this ship here. No doubt by now they are looking for the ship and have a match with the logs from when it landed, so if that can be changed then you could fly out of here and leave my world alone.

"Then that sounds like a plan. How and where can we obtain one of these?" Jwur put on a smile, but contemplated deeply on the officer. Something was suspicious about him, he offered up a weakness too willingly. Jwur's instincts taught him to be cautious, and he would have to discuss the possibilities with his new allies, but something about it was most likely a trap. While talking, he began to reach out through the force, ever so carefully, towards the officer's mind, hoping to get atleast a glimpse into the darker thoughts he must have been hiding behind that smile of his.

Three days ago, several coordinated bombings went off in Garang, coordinated with the attacks on the Imperial Garrison. Two apartment blocks were hit, targeting known Imperial collaborators, and the Imperial Civil Service Office was bombed, killing around 120 civil servants, officers, and Dantooine citizens. Another 70 or so had been killed in the apartment bombings. Following the bombings, curfews were enforced and investigators officially determined the bombings were carried out by anti-Imperial rebel cells.
Now, the Imperial Garrison was locking down the city preventing anyone entering or exiting as landing ships landed nearby. The spaceport was completely locked down and no ship was allowed to leave. Deathtroopers quickly marched out of the transports and headed for their targets.
One raid targeted an apartment in the city centre. Intelligence had been informed by its undercover agents that it was home to several members of a local cell. As the lockdown began, the rebels attempted to destroy documents, but were to late to dispose of most of them. As the Deathtroopers knocked down the door, one rebel tried to reach for a blaster, but was shot. The remaining men were arrested and dragged from the apartment. This was a fairly standard scene at many of the locations raided by the Deathtroopers.
Another target was a warehouse on the edge of the city, allegedly a bomb making site. The rebels there put up more resistance, managing to shoot and kill two Deathtroopers and killed another three in an explosion from a bomb planted. It wasn't long however until the cell was all either killed or rounded up. Six rebels survived, one revealed himself as an Intelligence operative and was released, and one, identified by the operative as the main bomb designer was dragged off to the lander. The remaining four were summarily executed. The scene was then rearranged to appear as though they had been killed in the firefight. While most of the Deathtrooper squads had been ordered to take as many prisoners alive, these were ordered to ensure there were no survivors, aside from the bomb designer who was wanted for interrogation. Documents were then planted showing plans for the bombings carried out earlier. This cell would be blamed for the bombings, that had secretly been carried out by Intelligence.

Garang had seen better days. Nowadays it seemed people kept their heads down and whispers and hushes were nothing more now. Since the successful operation by the Resistance, there had been some hope of liberation... yet the days went by. The organized leadership behind their rebel movements had departed with the Resistance along with much of their stronger fighters. Parents were now telling their kids to be polite to Imperials and kept out of trouble. Garang had once been a 'prison' city, now it felt like a morgue, more quiet than loud compared to other cities. One wondered if it was just the silence before the storm. That's what Imperial Intelligence estimated at least. Hence high alert had not even gone down as pass checks were still made, guard duty ever vigilant, and check points still present.

Alright, listen up. Chimed Endor over the squadron frequency, which he was kind enough to patch the Aethersprites into, allowing them all to operate on a single channel when necessary. Now happened to be one of those times. Our target today is the squadron of TIE Whispers garrisoned at the Imperial prison complex. The closest settlement to the facility is the capital city of Garang. We'll start by making a nuisance of ourselves there, shake up the hornets nest as it were. The city has a couple of standard TIEs, nothing we can't make short work of. The real fight won't take place until those Whispers arrive. The current Imperial governor of Dantooine does not have what you'd call a bold reputation. He'll call for reinforcements at the first sign of trouble and those Whispers will come. We haven't got a look at what's under the hood yet, but you can count on those things having some teeth. No one liked walking out into the unknown, but sometimes just rewards called for a few necessary risks. If you get into a position you can't handle, pull out. You have wingmen for a reason, use them. Those enemy fighters might be made with more expensive parts, but there is more to a dogfight than a fancy fighter. That elicited a few chuckles over the channel at the new arrivals expense. Fly your hearts out and give them hell, ewoks! The response was as you might expect. Just another brick in the wall, General. Or No problem, we got this. And of course... Fuck the Empire! Placing a gloved hand on the throttle, the General and his squadron accelerated towards Dantooine. They'd timed their approach almost exactly to the second. At that exact moment, a First Order frigate would be just about reaching the far edge of the system, the furthest point on its patrol of the system from the planet of Dantooine itself. The Rebels had an open sky greet them when they hit the atmosphere.Too bad it didn't stay that way. The Member's of the hastily named Halcyon Flight took the comment about their ships in stride. Aethersprites were an older model from the Clone Wars, for them to be even jokingly called fancy fighters in the same breath as some of the newer emerging designs was a compliment. Braden definitely had to stop himself making a snarky remark, a task made more the easier by the situation they found themselves in. Once the briefing was finished, the Aethersprites moved in to the rear of the Ewoks as the starfighters pushed toward the surface of Dantooine.
As had been planned, the defence fleet was well beyond range to stop them as they breached the atmosphere and accelerated hard toward Garang. Within moments, dogfights broke out in the air above the city, with X-Wings and Aethersprites engaging TIE Fighters. It was quite the sight for those down in the city below. Most had seen an X-Wing fighting a TIE Fighter, but an Aethersprite fighting a TIE Fighter? Unheard of. The Two fighters were from very different times. But now they were getting the match up history had long since denied them.
And none of the four Jedi Pilots had any intention of letting their fighters down, pulling turns and attacks that most other pilots wouldn't have dared. It was quite the impressive show and was honestly a lot better than the plan Allas had initially proposed for them. Not that any of them was planning to admit as much to her.

It was around the time that their snubfighters hit the atmosphere that the first hails started flowing in, as local traffic control made its demands for them to identify, spamming their radios with chatter. All of which was ignored, though the General's wingman and childhood bestfriend, Tarfang, monitored the channel just in case.Black void was soon replaced with blue sky and a lush green landscape below. Endor pressed forwards on the steering yoke, pitching his T-65 into a dive, swiftly accelerating as his X-wing began to pick up speed. He grit his teeth as he saw the trees growing larger in the cockpit view the closer he got, finally pulling back on the yoke at the last minute. The nose lifted just shy of the forest canopy, evening out over the top of the fertile terrain that covered the surface of the planet. It was a shame a world as serene as Dantooine ended up in the hands of the First Order. Today they were only here to liberate their brothers and sisters held captive at the prison compound, but next time? Well, it still be sometime before they were ready to rescue an entire planet from Imperial clutches, but one day... The rest of the Ewoks fell into a V formation with the General as they streaked towards the city from the West, using the sun peeking over the horizon at their backs to help cover their approach. T-Fang: I'm picking up TIEs on approach. Stang! Two squadrons worth of interceptors!L-Bassanius: ♪♪ There were only supposed to be a handful of standard TIEs. ♪♪Endor: Cut the chatter, Ewoks. We knew going into this these Imps would have a few surprises for us. They might have the numbers, but I doubt those pilots have flown even half the missions as the rest of you. Rely on your skills, trust in each other, and give them hell! He said over the joint channel, then switched over to the Aethersprite's private channel. Listen up, we're not used to flying together so when we reach those TIEs, break off into pairs. Dogfights are messy, but we'll cover you where we can, and vice-versa. Limit damage to civilian infrastructure as much as you can. I suspect your average Dantooinian isn't any happier with Imperial occupation than the rest of us.Looking down at his radar, the General could see the enemy TIEs even before he spotted them directly ahead, spreading out like an intercepting swarm and screeching birds of screeching bats. This was his favourite part.Lock S-foils in attack position.

The Aethersprites kept in close behind the V formation as they came in low over the tree tops towards Garang. Coming into this situation none of them had really know what to expect, so they weren't quite as taken aback by the Interceptors and their increased numbers. They'd been prepared for a fight from the moment they arrived and it didn't matter what the enemy forces had, they were going to rescue their Captain. Haley activated her comm line back to Endor Copy that. We'll give these Interceptors a run for their money. Unlike their X-Wing companions, the Aethersprites didn't have any S-Foils to lock into attack position. But the Astromech Droids did power up the shields and started charging the laser cannons. With the TIE's drawing in close to the V-formation, Haley and Elias broke off to the left whilst Chekk and Braden broke off to the right hoping to swing around in a pincer movement. It was unlikely to work perfectly, but it would be enough to distract some of the enemy formation away from the group. As soon as they got a chance, the laser cannons started opening fire, keeping their targets above them as much as possible

As things often went, the opening moments of the skirmish were utter chaos. The modified XJ7s fire-linked laser cannons punched a hole straight through the shrieking TIE Interceptors, exchanging fire and coming out the better side as they flew past one another in a series of fiery mid-air eruptions. Endor's teeth chattered together as the titanium frame of his outdated T-65 shook under the strain he was putting it through, but he trusted the old bird implicitly, never doubting for a second that it would fail him in his time of need. Exhaust trailed from the chromium piping jutting from either side of the snubfighters nose as he eked just a little more out the engines. Break off and pick your targets. He growled into the mouthpiece on his rebel flight helmet, turning the control yoke in his mitts before going vertical circling back around 180 degrees as he entered a barrel roll. Already the enemy TIEs were regrouping and swinging back around. The Imperials were careless with their fire, clipping the tops of buildings and raining down debris on civilians caught in the open streets.Damn them! They didn't care about the casualties, all that mattered was serving the whims of their Imperial overseers. Well, that simplified things. No mercy to these fascist scum. It wasn't much of a Jedi sentiment, but by the seven hells of his homeworld he was mad now.BEEP-BEEP-BEEP! His console flashed red with warning runes as R6 alerted him to a missile lock. Endor eased back on the throttle, slowing as a TIE Interceptor appeared on his tail and prepared to fire. His HUD filled with his astromech's binaric protestations at what he was doing, but the General ignored them, fixing his bearded face with a knowing grin. "It's okay, R6. I got this. And he did. As the interceptor loosed a concussion missile at his rear, Endor flicked a toggle on the console dash and pulled up on the flight stick, releasing blinding chafe in the pursuing Interceptors face as he trusted the Force to guide his hand, streaking past a surprised enemy TIE that exploded behind him as it came between his X-wing and the following missile.Ha! I got one! He cheered over the comm, jerking his craft from side to side as the pursuing TIE tried to pepper his backside with emerald laser fire. Don't get cocky, boss. Chirped Tarfang over the channel, cautioning him. Endor's only response was to blow a raspberry. Pffft! Yeah, sure, buddy. That's kind of my whole thing. He spun his X-shaped wings end over end as he entered another dive, satisfied when Lance Bassanius blasted his tail to smithereens moments later. So far so good...but no Whispers yet.

The flight from Dantooine Imperial Prison Camp-16 to Garang had not been a particularly long trip given the speeds at which the TIE Whisper was able to achieve. The craft came in from the North/North-West direction, opposing the Rebels approach from the East as they wasted no time in engaging the firefight. Unlike their Interceptor counterparts, the Whispers were a lot more frugal with their shots. They waited until they were locked on before firing off, not for any concern over civilian safety. No, it was purely because they wanted to prove their superiority in a fight. The Whispers started breaking off into pairs to take on the X-Wings and the Aethersprites

Had the buildings been abandoned, or the enemy shown more restraint about what they shot at, Haley would have loved to use the cover they would have provided by skirting between buildings like a canyon. But neither fact was true and so she was forced to adapt to the much more dangerous open air engagement. Thankfully the initial engagement between the V-formation of X-wings and the swarm of TIE Interceptors had caused the cluster to break up, allowing Haley and Elias to isolate one of the TIE Interceptors and force it further away from the main group. Whilst Elias acted as bait, his seasoned and steady hand keeping him just moments away from destruction as blaster fire barely skimmed past the fighters shield bubble, Haley lined up several shots. The blaster impacts tore into the Interceptor and sent it spiralling away, allowing the pair to turn their focus back to the battle as scanner alerts sounded out.
The Whispers had arrived Halcyon's on me! General Endor and his Ewok's have the Interceptors handled, we'll begin picking off our new guests! Chekk and Braden finished picking off the Interceptor they'd been chasing down before pulling around and group up with Haley and Elias before the quartet of Aethersprites dove into the middle of the Whispers. Laser fire clashed in mid air with one another and against the shields of fighter craft. As soon as the Aethersprites came out behind the Whispers, each of the four pilots pulled back hard on their controls, spinning their ships around before firing into the back side of the new Fighters, their pursuit beginning once again

The Whispers arrival was hardly subtle. Endor, who had lived a druid's lifestyle in the quiet woods of his homeworld until an old friend dragged him back into another war that needed to be fought, was sensitive to the changes in the wind. He felt the superiority snubfighters before his weathered eyes spotted them, sensing the lethal machines whose unnatural presence was a stain on the natural order, causing his gorge to rise as anger swelled in his breast. The General took a deep breath, exhaling out the dark emotions as he sought his peaceful centre, while simultaneously mustering his courage. This fight was about to get dicey.
FWAP! FWAP! The fire linked cannons of his hot-rod T-65 shredded another fascist loving Imp fighter to flaming quadanium shards. He peered over his shoulder through the canopy window of his modified starfighter and watched as the Aethersprites spun after the sleek dark daggers that had just made their sinister entrance. Palpatine's wrinkled nut-sack! Look how fast their moving. The speed and maneuverability of these new enemies distracted him enough that he nearly collided with an enemy interceptor, his hand jerking on the flight stick to spin him out of the way at the last moment, narrowly avoiding getting clipped. As he came around he could see the quartet outmaneuver the Whispers, but as their blaster cannons struck the rear of the supped-up TIEs, the deflector shields held and shrugged off those well aimed shots.
This was what he'd been afraid of. Those Whispers were cutting edge First Order technology, miles ahead of anything the Rebels and their new friends were packing. If they were going to make it through this, they'd have to rely almost entirely on their skill as pilots, and perhaps a bit of luck. Their shields are too strong. Try missiles or torpedoes. He shook his head, trying to focus on his own fight as he grouped up with Lance and Tarfang who had managed to take out another pair of interceptors. He could feel the growing despair from the populace below, panicked and terrified at the dogfight overhead, like a sickly malaise in the Force that turned his stomach.

Commander Vero Zapal, who was in charge of the flight of TIE Whispers, smiled confidently to himself as the Aethersprites had come at them and then tried firing on them from behind. Indeed, it would take a lot more than a couple shots to take down one of the First Orders most advanced starfighters. A fact which would give Zapal and his squadron time to break off into pairs and try hunt down their harassers. It should have been an easy task, but the speed at which their quarry was moving increased the difficulty considerably. Vero just wanted to see these rebel scum dead, as penance for their insurgency. The Empire brought peace and stability to a Galaxy long consumed by war and chaos. These terrorists merely wanted to see an extension of that

Haley slapped her hand against the console as their shots hit the Whispers and impacted against the shields. She'd hoped, somewhat foolishly, that the Shadows would be akin to the Interceptors with their lack of shielding. It didn't mean they were invincible, just harder to kill. Fine, she though, just means we have more chance at target practice Keep tight on your marks and hound them till their shields give out! But keep your heads on a swivel and don't get caught unaware! They stayed in their pairs as the Whispers broke their formation, keeping hard on the tails of the fighters they'd been targetting. With the city well below, laser fire spewed forth from the Aethersprites and into the rear shields of the Whispers. The shields might be strong, but with enough damage, they would eventually fail and the X-Wings could certainly provide that harder hitting power. Hopefully whatever plan was going on ground side to take out the Prison AA Guns would be done soon, so the rest of the Fleet could show up

Endor! General, are you listening?! A static distorted voice whined irritatingly in the ear of the bushy bearded squadron leader of Endor's Ewoks. The General was quick to lower the volume, listening purposefully as he tried to hear through all the chop over the comm-frequency. There was no mistaking the annoying voice on the other end. "Yeah, Drenlin, I hear you. What is it? I'm a little busy at the moment." He flicked a toggle on his T-65 X-wing's dash console, releasing chaff from the snubfighters rear as a concussion missile crept towards his backside. The orange fiery explosion that followed only to serve to emphasize his point.Admiral Dackbar got impatient. The gunships are on their way to the prison. "What?!" Shouted Endor into his helmet mic, surprised enough that he almost crashed into an enemy Interceptor. A quick trigger pull caused his laser cannons to clear a path at the last moment, and he continued to shout as he flew through the debris cloud. "Vaughan hasn't given the signal yet. What was she thinking?!" He grit his teeth and fired again, taking out another TIE and sending its wingmen spiraling towards the ground. "Don't answer that. I already know."They were on borrowed time from the beginning. The rebel fleet couldn't remain in the system for very long before a First Order patrol detected them. That was the whole reason they picked this window of opportunity."R6, give me the Aethersprites." A second later and he could see on the dash console that he'd switched over to the other channel. Halcyon, the boss lady got impatient and launched our rescue gunships early. They are headed towards the prison as we speak and they are coming in hotter than Tatooine in the summertime. Problem is our ground team hasn't reported bringing down the prison's AA guns yet. I'm heading over there now to see if I can help. It's up to you to take out these Whispers. If the gunships are able to land at the complex, they'll be sitting ducks if these enemy TIEs make it back there. Good luck.Next he switched back to the Ewoks squadron channel. "Tarfang, Lance, on me. The rest of you, help our friends finish this. Yub-Nub! YUB-NUB! Without further adieu, the General jerked his flight stick and banked his X-wing in the direction of the prison, closing his S-foils to build more speed. The XJ7s of his two wingmen follow suit.

Haley and Elias had just finished overwhelming one of the Whispers shields before breaching the cockpit when the comm from Endor came through. She thought the Rebels would have had things a little bit more under control and managed than their usual run and gun situations. But as it turned out, they weren't all that much different. The age old adage that no plan survives first contact with the enemy was as true for the Rebels as it was for the crew of The Halcyon. Haley opened the comm line back Don't worry about us. These Whispers wont know what hit 'em... Thankfully the Interceptors had been thinned out now that Endor and a pair of X-wings were peeling off to make for the Prison. But even still, there was a lot more confidence in her statement than she actually felt. Just taking down the pair of Whispers that they had so far had been no small feat. She opened a comm line to the other Aethersprites as well as the XJ7s I don't like this situation any more than the rest of you, but we need to work together to deal with this problem. Mop up the Interceptors and then we'll all focus on the Whispers!
Copy that! Several more affirmatives came through as the XJ7s got to work dealing with the final Interceptors, whilst the Aethersprites ran interference with the Whispers, pulling out of turns and corners to keep any of the Whispers from following Endor back to the Prison

Vero cursed his luck as several of the X-Wings pulled away from the main group and headed off toward the prison, managing to escape as the remaining X-Wing's and the Aethersprites kept his attention over Garang. What ever foolish plan they had, would be thwarted by the air guns at the prison. For now, he kept his fighters focused on taking out these Rebels and Interlopers. A task that he was starting to realize was not working out in their favour as the last of the Interceptors were taken out, leaving only the Whispers. But the First Order forces were not so easily forced to retreat. They kept up their fight over the city, trying to lock onto and shoot these idealists out of the sky

The TIE Interceptors had been relatively easy to deal with, their pilots had been reckless and their craft lacked any shielding to protect them. But the TIE Whispers had proved a greater challenge. In comparison, the combined force of the X-Wings and Aethersprites had only managed to take out half of the improved TIE Fighters. A rather commendable achievement in and of itself, but Haley would not be happy short of complete victory even if that was not their objective. Something she was soon reminded of when The Halcyon appeared from the mountains in the direction of the Prison Sister?!
Got it in one. Everybody get aboard, we're getting out of here! The inner and outer airlock doors opened on both sides of the Wayfarer-class Medium Transport, causing air to rush inside and buffet the containers within and slam against the back wall. It did cause a drop in speed, but they did not have time to run through their usual docking procedure. Allas was already starting to angle The Halcyon up towards orbit. Half of the remaining TIE whispers broke off and headed toward the prison, while the other half remained to harass those trying to escape. Braden and Chekk were the first two to perform the rather dangerous in motion landing, their starfighters just making it through the gap. Elias and Hayley came hurtling in next as Allas increased their angle of ascent while the ships laser cannons came to life, catching a couple of the TIE Whispers off-guard. The airlock doors started closing then, providing a sealed environment just as The Halcyon hit the upper atmosphere and pushed out into orbit.
