Ronin came to the top of the ramp at the same time as Sven made his way to the ship. No need to draw a weapon, the sight set out before him didn't exactly seem peaceful yet not a gun fight.
Finally the cavalry had arrived back.
Surveying the area he felt no other force users, a feeling he was thankful for. Still with so much drama he maybe should have asked for more money. In less than 24hrs he had to defend the ship and cargo from gunman as well as a sith. What had he signed himself up for. The head of security had some sort of relationship with the Captain that was on the rocks, a captain that had a tight little body, big gun, red hair and an attitude.
Ronin wouldn't sleep this night, he had napped for a short while which would be enough for him to get by.

Vee frowned at Ronin's retreating back before sighing with an eyeroll at his parting comment. She turned on her heel and slammed the door behind her, throwing the blaster on the bed before sitting down heavily beside it. The pissed off feeling she previously had toward the doctor was now a simmering annoyance. She glanced down at the medicine he gave her.She was tempted to try it, but at the same time wondered if she'd wake up groggy. The weight of not attaining not much sleep in the past few weeks, combined with the poor sleep she got when she did slumber, was heavy on her. Even still, she was far too wired to do anything about it.She shrugged, opening the bag and taking just one of the pills, hoping it would be enough to make her sleep, but not strong enough to pass out cold.
She grabbed a pillow and threw it on the floor, gently setting her blaster next to it as she laid on her side. Lying in almost a fetal-prone position, she leveraged one arm under the pillow to give her head more support, while the other gripped her blaster. She didn't know when she would fall asleep, and she didn't want to be on the bed if Sven came in after her. "Business as usual."...that's how he wanted it. That's how it would be.

Sven stood outside Vee's cabin his feet shifting with nervous energy as he stared at the unadorned slab of metal, shoulders hunched and posture uncertain.
It had only taken a few minutes to see the mercenaries settled, them having already sorted out where they would bed down before they had left for the Oyu'baat. There had been some words had with Berrik and, even though Sven understood somewhat the actions of the man, he made it clear that any such deviation from orders given would not be tolerated. The man had tried to point out that Sven could be sitting in a jail cell right now but Sven had snapped back with a "What? As opposed to being fugitives from Mandalore?" In the end the grizzled merc had relented, mumbling a half-hearted apology that was more insulting than satisfactory. Sven had left it at that. He knew the man's type. Too rough and disobedient to make it as a career soldier so he sold his blaster to the highest bidder. Good in a fight but with little to no loyalty. No true Mando'ade. Perhaps Don was right to fear the man's priorities and, therefore, that of his men.
His own self-berations had gone on in his head from the moment he had got the call from Don, a constant streams of 'I should have been there's' and 'what ifs' that sang a chorus through his thoughts. He had come straight to Vee's dor absent any time to make himself presentable, the smell of drink and smoke on him yet none of the pleasures from partaking. He was stone cold sober now and could feel the dull throb of a headache beating a dull rhythm within his brow.
He shifted again, shrugging the satchel that hung off of his right shoulder and hoisting the rifle that rested in the hand below. With agonising slowness he raised the helmet he held in his left hand and wrapped it on the door three times, the hollow clang echoing strangely down the corridor.
"Vee...? Bic Sven. Liser ni olaror o'r?" {{Vee...? Its Sven. Can I come in?}}

Don gazed after Sven as his cousin strode to the ship, the hint of a smile still playing on his lips. The smile dropped as he saw Ronin walk out. The co-pilot watched as the doctor took in the scene before him.Don wondered why Matango wasn't asleep. Just as well, he could question him about the attacks, specifically how he was able to fend off such intruders. He raised a hand and waved in Ronin's direction, motioning for him to come closer.

Vee had only been trying to sleep for a few minutes before Sven knocked. She wasn't fluent in Mando'a, but understood enough that she could conjure what he was saying. She briefly thought about pretending to be asleep, but voted against it. They couldn't keep avoiding each other. They had an understanding, they were adults. It didn't stop her heart racing, though. She swallowed as she sat up, turning her head towards the door that was on the other side of the bed.
Yes Sven, come in!
She scooted closer to the bed to make room from him to walk around,, pulling her blaster and pillow along with her. She set her blaster to the side and set the pillow in her lap before she raked her fingers through her long hair, trying to smooth it. She cringed as she thought about how disheveled she looked. The medicine! She reached up to swipe it off the bed as he opened the door, freezing in mid-grab as his eyes connected with hers. Her brain scrambled to think of what to say as her pulse nearly leaped out of her body at the sight of him.Her voice was feeble when she spoke.
Su'cuy.
The oxygen suddenly felt as if it had been sucked out of the air and her body was on fire, the previously uncomfortable heat seemingly escalating to the point of being unbearable.

Ronin saw Don raise a hand and motion for him to approach. Great what did he want?
"Evening, how can I help you?"
Still nothing in the area but moving out in the open didn't exactly have Ronin feeling the warm fuzzies

Don grinned amicably, crossing his arms as Ronin approached.I didn't get to thank you earlier. I know fighting Sith isn't in your job description, so thank you for sticking out your neck and saving the cargo and ship. His smile took a rueful turn. You also quite possibly saved our jobs and careers...Vee and I wouldn't be making hauls for anyone if the Sith had taken the ship. He tipped his head. How did you do it? Don was scanned Ronin's face and body language carefully while he spoke...Don was not a betting man, gambling was not one of his many vices...but if he were, he would bet it all that the doctor was withholding something from them. His guess was that he was a Force-user. It was the only explanation for being able to stop the thieves. But whether or not their employer knew it was something else entirely.

He slid into the room and stopped just inside the doorway upon seeing her on the floor, mid-grab towards something on the bed. He caught the rattle of pills before the bottle disappeared into her grasp, but ignored them in favour of the sight of her half sprawled on the cold deck.
With her hair disheveled and her posture seemingly worn out and slumped, he felt a sudden pang of renewed guilt at not having been here to help her through the trials of the last few hours. The semi-haunted look in her eyes as she gazed up at him nearly tore his heart yet he remained firm in the face of the need to take her in his arms.
Instead he dropped slowly into a crouch, balancing on his haunches while he set the blaster rifle down on the floor besides him. His gaze drifted over the bandages on her hands, dwelling a moment on the pill bottle she held within, before moving back up to twin emeralds filled with pain.
"Cyar'ika...." He couldn't help his hand as it reached out to move a stray golden lock away from her face, lingering to smooth down the hair on that side of her head. "Are you okay?"

Ronin nodded and smiled holding his hands out in a 'it was nothing' motion. The question about how he did it, but he suspected Don was trying to dig for information.
"You have nothing to thank me for, I guess I got the jump on them and got lucky to only get shot in the leg."
Ronin hoped that would be all he needed and no further questions would be asked but somehow Ronin knew the topic wasn't going to be dropped

Vee nearly jumped out of her skin when Sven caressed her, his touch sending something akin to an electric shock throughout her body. The muscles deep in her stomach clenched painfully in response. Breath, you di'kut, breath! her mind screamed as her lungs started burning. She gasped shallowly for breath as she stared up at Sven. She wanted to tear her eyes from his concerned ones to avoid the intensity, but their magnetism held her firmly in place. Wait, he had said something, right? Her brain quickly played catch up.
...I'm good.
Her voice was too husky. She cleared her throat as she fought the urge to lean her head into his hand. Are you? She pat herself on the back for thinking of a plausible response. It was then she belatedly noticed his blue eyes were...sad? Contrite? Her faithless hand lifted as if to stroke his sculpted features, but halted midway when she realized what she was doing, her skin flushing pinker still.

One of his hands raised to his chin, elbow supported by his still-crossed arm across his chest. Don pretended to thoughtfully stroke his chin as his analytic gaze remained fixed upon Ronin. How did you get the jump on them? It was rather silly, that. You didn't get the jump on Sith or Jedi. They could sense you before you could see them, unless you were in a crowd and they weren't looking out for you. There was no way the doctor, as a non-Force user, would be able to surprise a Sith who was alert, as surely the would-be thief had been.

Ronin moved his hands to his pockets, his tone picking up a twang, a mock joy in his voice
"If I didn't know any better I'd say you were interrogating me!"
Ronin scanned the area to make sure noone else was around to hear. The tone also lost its cheer and pitch becoming lower, colder
"Look I said I got the jump on them, I guess they were distracted. Now if you wish to interrogate me that's fine, but remember this voyage hasn't even started yet. So for the sake of peace I'd ask you to drop your prying."
As if a switch was just flipped back on the old cheer and tone came back with the warmth
"Now is everything ok out here could have sworn I heard a commotion."

Don didn't try to hide the amused smile that lurked about his mouth at Ronin's words. So the doctor was a Force-user then...his reaction had all but confirmed it. What else could he be hiding? And did Jeev know? Of course he did, he had to. Jeev had been Don's handler for a long time...nothing escaped the man. The only question now was why Jeev felt it necessary for Force-user to be on the ship. The query was easily answered: because he knew there would be other Force-users trying to steal the cargo.
But why?
As far as he could tell, their haul was nothing but a bunch of electronic parts. Surely Sith didn't need something so commonplace...not enough to steal it, and off Mandalore for that matter. No, there had to be something else going on...was there something hidden in the cargo? Maybe not the cargo, but the ship...why else would they be assigned this clunker?
Don let his hand drop back to a folded position on his chest, still smiling genuinely at Ronin. Nope...no commotion out here doctor. But if you'd like to stay up and keep watch for any more Sith, or Jedi, I won't stop you.He supposed he should be uncomfortable with the fact the doctor was most likely a user, but he wasn't. Not as long as the man did his job and wasn't a threat to them, and Don knew he couldn't be if Jeev assigned him. Don would watch him, all the same...though he didn't have a problem with users, he didn't trust them either. He was thankful now that he brought his armor with him. Sven had his, of course, but Vee...Vee never wore hers, and he couldn't say he blamed her either, not with it being a wedding gift from Taung. Nevertheless, he was convinced she should employ it when on this particular trip. He knew he would feel better if she did.

Ronin nodded knowing what the copilot was implying, yet he couldn't prove anything. With a small chuckle he threw his hands out
Yea if I see any forcies I'll just use my magical powers to fight them...you know they taught us that shit when I was in the Republic army!!"
Shaking his head as if to shake away a rediculious joke Ronin clapped his hands together
"Who knows maybe luck will smile on me once more. Well I'm going to stay up, you probably should get some sleep you know busy day in the AM!"

There was no way in hell he was going to leave the doctor by himself out here. His trust only ran so deep. Though thankful for the security of a user on their side, at any point Ronin could be a threat himself. Don wasn't going to take any chances, even if there might be little he could do should the man go rogue. Besides...he should probably suit up then harass the clean-up crew to move faster. The sooner they were up in the air, the better. Unless Sith decided to take them in transit, which very well could be the case. Vee was an excellent pilot, Don would trust her any day to outmaneuver whatever threat they may come up against up there, but the ship was a piece of crap. No matter how excellent a pilot she was, they could be dead in the water should someone wish to board. Fighting in a ship up there wasn't the best way to stay alive. He hoped the fact they weren't assigned something nicer meant there was nothing they needed to worry about in that regard, but the co-pilot still felt uneasy.
Don's smile sharped a little, his hands coming to rest on his hips. I appreciate the offer, but I'm going to stick around. I couldn't fall asleep right now no matter how hard I'd try.

A'den laid back on the cargo container and looked up into the sky. He would travel this galaxy, he just knew it. It would be what he would be doing with his parents now of they hadn't died in a crash. He almost couldn't remember their faces or their voices. He was so young when they died. Here he was a son of Mandalore, and he didn't even know which clan he belonged to, if he even belonged to one anymore...

Ronin nodded bringing his arms up, crossing at chest level. He regarded the copilot and the surrounding area. The blood shimmered in the artificial light, and eerily beautiful painting for all to behold.
Ronin knew little about the people he was working with other than basic information like name, age, and position; he needed to know more.
"So what happens if another of those forcies come back or worse there is more than on?"
Throwing a thumb back to the ship as if to point to all of the security forces this mission had employed
"Do you think our mando mercs could hold their own? Hell how do we know none of them are enemies?"
The question wasn't just meant for the mercs but also the head of security for the ship. If worse came to worse and more than one force user attacked at a time would these people be there to have his back or a mere hinderence

Don glanced over his shoulder at the carnage and the clean-up crew before turning back to Ronin, his smile fading. I expect that's where you come in...Jeev obviously assigned you here for a reason. As far as the mercs are concerned, my handler wouldn't have given them to us unless they could get the job done. He would have run background checks, the whole sha-bang. Same as you and the rest of us. So unless someone is being extremely devious, these guys are clean. But just because they were clean didn't mean they were right for the job. Don wisely didn't put voice to that particular concern. He didn't want to alarm the doctor. Most likely it would be he, Sven, Vee and Ronin alone on this trip, unless the other mercs remained after Vee fired Berrik. Don seriously doubted they would take the news well.
Don wasn't sure all that his cousin did on his missions, he could only imagine. He was sure Sven must have experience with Force users, however. Ronin could clearly handle them. He wasn't very worried about coming up against one while he was armored and armed, he was an excellent fighter, but they had means to attack him beyond the armor and weapons. Armor could only do so much. He knew the key was to keep them distracted so they didn't have time to focus their powers.
Don tilt his head thoughtfully, his arms folding again. How would you take precautions against any more Sith? What would you recommend we do to protect ourselves?

Ronin swept his arms out upon the scene before them to emphasize his point
"Well for starters I'd sleep in shifts, and everyone have a way of getting ahold of one another in case we're attacked again. We don't need heros here."
While he knew the others had contact with one another he himself had only arrived 24hrs prior.
"I spent some time in the Republic army, does anyone else in the crew have military experience? "

Don arched an eyebrow at Ronin. All those suggestions were obvious, but he wanted to know about Sith in particular. Surely the doctor would have an idea, given he was a user himself. My cousin does...but what would you do about a force user, specifically?
