*The Rodian heard a gunshot nearby but it was the last thing he heard before he dropped dead, his body falling on Telarial.* *Telarial shoved him off and sat, staring at Frignal's body in complete shock. She scrambled towards her fallen pistol and picked it up, searching for the sniper that had dropped him. Her hands shook and an unmistakable look of terror crossed her young features as the thought that Frignal might have an accomplice who may have double crossed him entered her mind.*
"Show yourself!"

Stepping slowly from behind cover after standing, his Dissader held aloft so that there is no risk Telarial will see only the weapon before it registers who bears it, Faelan says calmly in Mando'a, Easy ad'ika. The danger has passed.
Holstering his KD-30 when certain the danger of being mistaken for a threat has passed, Faelan strides towards the fallen Rodian, kicking his blaster away even though it is plain to see from the curls of smoke lazily drifting up from the crater in back of his skull as acid continues eating away at flesh and bone that the Rodian has passed on from this life to whatever awaits him, and despite the anger he can feel beginning to well within him as it sinks in how near to death Telarial had been his concern for her ensures that before he gives voice to his anger, he first asks Telarial in a concerned tone that not even his buy'ce's speaker can not entirely remove from his voice, How badly are you hurt?

"Faelan!"
*A very relieved expression crossed her face and she lowered her Westar-34 and holstered it. She sank back down to her knees, exhausted and clearly in pain. She brought a hand to her bleeding lip and winced. She had bruises on her face and a small gash on her right cheek. Then of course there was the blaster wound in her left shoulder. The cauterized wound from the blast began to bleed, seeping through the hole in her black jumpsuit. With a small, humorless chuckle she looked from Faelan down to the body of the Rodian*
"Well...all things considered, I'm better off than Frignal is over there."
*She could sense Faelan's anger and before he had a chance to rant most likely due to her rather careless nature, she held up the battery pack she had sneakily swiped from Frignal that had rendered his blaster utterly useless. With a tired, half-smile...she tossed it Faelan's way.*
"While he was busy gloating his victory over me...I managed to remove that. I had him on the ropes..."
*She moaned softly and held a hand to her bruised abdomen. Her chest also hurt...it was possible she might have a few cracked ribs*

Catching the object Telarial tosses to him, Faelan feels some of his anger dissipate when he recognizes the battery pack that reveals Telarial was not in quite as much danger as he had believed. Unable to refrain from chuckling gruffly, once and once only, after Telarial explains that she had been able to use her command of the Force to gain the upper hand while her now deceased foe had been busy gloating, Faelan grouses in a tone containing just enough of a hint of amusement in it to betray the fact that Telarial need not fear being on the receiving end of the extent of the wrath she may have been had the battery pack not been cleverly removed, That is not how it looked to me ad'ika.
Sighing, some of the obvious tension bleeding from his posture, Faelan unknowingly allows the depths of his affection and concern for Telarial to surface as he admits as much to himself as to her, I . . . I don't know what I'd have done if I lost . . . Remembering that he should be concerned with seeing to Telarial's wounds and using the opportunity to teach more than allowing himself to get sentimental, Faelan reaches for the pouch on his utility belt containing his med-kit, asking as gruffly as he can manage as his relief that Telarial is not gravely injured drains the last of his adrenaline and anger from him, You know how to dress that shoulder wound I trust?

*Telarial reached over with her good arm and held Faelan's hand and gave it a comforting, reassuring squeeze.*
"But you didn't. I'm sorry Faelan. I...I wasn't thinking in that fight. Frignal made me...so...so..."
*Her jaw clenched as her anger resurfaced bringing with it the pain that Frignal's words wrought. Tears collected in her eyes when she remembered all that he had told her concerning her deceased guardian. Her voice was soft when she spoke again.*
"Did you hear what he said, Faelan? He disgraced Arkillian's memory. In a way I'm glad he's dead. Is that wrong?"
*She looked Faelan in the eyes with a look that was a cross between confusion and guilt. When he questioned her about treating her injury she frowned and looked at the rapidly seeping blaster wound with a grimace.*
"Truthfully...this is the first time I've ever been shot."

It isn't likely to be the last unless you learn not to let your emotions get the better of you ad'ika, Faelan quips gruffly and affectionately in Mando'a as he squats beside Telarial while opening his medkit. Laying a sterile cloth taken from the kit beside him, Faelan selects a few other items from the kit and sets them on the cloth as he adds, Words are wind ad'ika, never allow words to goad you into making careless moves. Resting a hand comfortingly on her shoulder, Faelan reassures her with a gentle squeeze, And it isn't wrong to be glad ad'ika, no. Now, he changes the subject in light of the fact seeing to Telarial's wounds takes precedence over a lesson she is not likely to learn from a simple lecture here and now alone, pay attention, triage is a skill you'll want to learn sooner or later.
Explaining what he is doing and why, Faelan carefully cuts away the charred bits of jumpsuit covering Telarial's blaster wound, then gently and quickly sets about cleaning and dressing the wound after using a small medscanner to check that the bleeding is not due to any underlying vascular damage that would necessitate seeking better care than his modest skills and supplies can provide. Placing a bacta patch over the cleaned wound, Faelan concludes the impromptu triage lesson by saying, Aside from the rare risk of bleeding out from a blaster wound such as this, the biggest danger is infection, and we'll need to watch for any signs like fever or red streaks on your arm. Gently reaching out to turn Telarial's face to get a better look at the gash on her cheek, Faelan clucks his tongue and says, I think we can get away without stitches for your cheek ad'ika. I'll take a closer look at your ribs later, you may need to wrap them if they've been cracked or sprained.
Sighing as he begins returning supplies to his medkit, Faelan asks, Who was this Fringal? his lip curling up in disgust as he voices the Rodian's name as he continues, Why was he here? Will we need to worry about any one looking for retribution for his death? Well aware when he had pulled the trigger that there might be a price to pay, Faelan's even tone reveals that he is more than willing to accept the potential cost of his intervention.

*Telarial frowned, her expression revealing her displeasure at Faelan's words when he gently explains that she shouldn't allow words to control her. She couldn't stop herself from arguing with him.*
" I don't care! He all but desecrated Arkillian's memory! He might as well have taken a dump on his grave! If anyone ever spoke crap about you Faelan, I'd knock them senseless."
*The young woman saw the med-kit and the preparations Faelan was making to implement first aid care and looked up at him with trepidation and very wide eyes. Her face went mildly pale.*
"Faelan...I'm sure this is a really stupid question...but is this going to hurt?"
*As soon as the disinfectant was applied to the blaster wound in her shoulder she couldn't stop herself from yelping in pain and briefly squirmed in a vain attempt to wriggle out of Faelan's grasp. She hissed with a sharp intake of breath during the rather unpleasant stinging sensation that sterilizing the wound brought her. She released a tired, weary sigh when her injuries had finally been tended to.*
"Thank you, Faelan."
*Telarial slumped foward until she was leaning on him. To an outsider it might have looked as though the young Mandalorian had fainted. That was obviously not the case when Telarial began to tell Faelan more about her past, slipping into their native language of Mando'a*
"Frignal was a smuggler. Arkillian and I met him about six years ago. Arkillian struggled financially as he did everything he could to care for me. Work for him had been slow and there were a couple of times that we went hungry. He made a huge sacrifice...One that to most would have been considered difficult at the time. Not to him. He loved me as he would his own daughter. He never had a family. Just me and him. The Dark Shadow was originally Arkillian's ship. He sold it and with the large profits he then had enough to take care of me properly. After his death, I tracked down the new owner who purchased it and challenged him to a pazaack tournament. As you can well imagine...Frignal over there, was of course the current owner. I used the remainder of Arkillian's credits to gamble my way back into possession of it."
*Telarial angrily clenched her jaw as fire burned within her light brown eyes.*
"I won fairly. I did not cheat. I guess Frignal was a sore loser. I doubt he had any friends close enough that would be willing to avenge him. No...I doubt anyone else will be returning."
*Telarial lifted her head and looked at Faelan with unshed tears in her eyes.*
"Faelan. I'm sorry. I lied to you. I was never a bounty hunter or a mercenary. I've just told people that so that they wouldn't think me weak or try to hurt or take advantage of me. I don't blame you if you consider me a coward. All I've done is a side job or two. And have gambled a few times and won. I promise that this is my last secret...No more lies. Only truth. I promise."

*Adonias left the oyu'baat and went into the heart of the Keldabe marketplace. All the while he couldn't shake that feeling that he was being watched and followed. He met with a vendor and began to conduct his business.*
"I would like to offer my current ship for trade or sale."
*The vendor nodded with a smile as he pulled out a data pad."
"Very good sir. I just need you to fill out a few of these electronic forms. Most of it is standard...Gives me consent to inspect your ship and determine its value."
*Adonias nodded with a small smile as he took the data pad and began the electronic paperwork.*
" Of course. Thank you."

*Raine stood on top of a stack of crates high above the ground. She could see just about everything from where she stood. From people below, to Adonias, all the way to a speeder that looked just like Faelan's speeder sitting in front of a hangar entrance, which was kinda odd in a way. As for Adonias, he seemed to be talking to a sales man of sort, maybe a ship salesman judging by the sign. Letting out a sigh, Raine sat down cross legged on top of the crate. She began to believe that following the man might actually be boring if he was just going to be buying a ship. Her attention turned back to the speeder that looked like Faelan's and began to wonder if it was his. Standing up, she began to make here way along crates and rooftops until she was situated in a spot where she could both watch Adonias and see into the hangar.
*Inside the hangar she saw three beings. One was laying on the ground and was hard to make out. The second was kneeling and looked like female, maybe a young woman. The third person was still standing, wearing a familiar set of beskar'gam, one she recognized as Faelan. She gave a smile at the sight of him and wanted to yell out to get his attention. There was a problem though, Adonias was almost directly below her and she didn't want to give away her position. Looking below her, she could see the young man still talking to the vender, which would take some time. She bit her lower lip in thought for a moment before making her decision. Carefully, she made her way down the side of the building like a rockclimber, grabbing anything that would hold her. She grab ed a pipe and began to lower herself down, when a loud cracked filled the air and she fell. Luckily the fall wasn't far and she landed without injury. The pipe however, hit the ground with a loud clatter. Looking up Raine saw that she was only about a dozen feet away from Adonias. Without waiting to see their response, she darted for the hangar where Faelan was.*
*Raine darted into the hangar and was about to shout out to Faelan, but froze at the sight of the dead Rodian. Her gaze went from the Rodian to the woman she didn't recognize than back to Faelan. She really wasn't sure what was going on, but she felt like she just intruded on something important.*

Faelan, recognizing from Telarial's state that any further attempts to instruct her in the art of ignoring foundationless accusations or intentionally slanderous comments almost certainly chosen to provoke will undoubtedly fall upon deaf ears, does not interrupt her as she explains the reasoning behind her unbridled fury being unleashed by the Rodian who has now paid the ultimate price for his taunts, instead nodding or making a purposefully ambiguous grunt now and then to assure Telarial that he is in fact listening as he tends to her wound, and then gently puts an arm around her shoulders comfortingly when she slumps against him and speaks further.
Though surprised and somewhat hurt that Telarial had not trusted him enough before to confide in him all that she has just shared, Faelan is empathetic enough to put himself in her position to the extent that he can see the reasons for the mistruths and secrets she has kept, and so there is no accusation or resentment in his tone when, after Telarial has finished speaking with a promise that there will be no more secrets between them, Faelan lifts a hand and gently dabs the corner of her eyes so that her unfallen tears are absorbed into the fabric of his glove while he says in Mando'a, Alright ad'ika, alright. No more secrets it is. To further illustrate that he harbors no resentment, Falean jokes, Besides, it is at times strategically sound to disseminate tactically advantageous misinformation, is it not?
Rubbing Telarial's back soothingly for a moment, Faelan steps back, reaching up with a hand to rub the back of his neck as he looks towards Frignal's body with a sigh, Now then, what should we do . . . Lifting a hand to signal for silence after the sound of a metallic object falling to the ground sounds out from nearby, Faelan unholsters his KD-30 in a quick, liquidly smooth motion with his other hand. Using hand signals, Falean motions for Telarial to move towards the direction of the sound from the east a moment after he has moved out to approach it from the west so that they will have, if the noise was not simply a mere chance falling of an object rather than something more ominous, whomever made the noise boxed in from two sides; Faelan's earlier departure ideally giving Telarial a chance to approach undetected as he will draw attention initially. KD-30 down at his side, Faelan stalks cautiously and stealthily towards where the sound came from, watching and listening for any signs of an interloper . . .

*Telarial smiles gratefully at Faelan's kind actions and his comforting words. When he wraps an arm around her she leans into his embrace. Her head snaps up when she hears the loud clatter and follows Faelan's hand signal. She stealthily unholsters both westar-34s and after retrieving her fallen buy'ce and pulls it quickly over her head. The sudden rush of adrenaline moves her into action, the pain of her wounds momentarily forgotten. She quickly proceeds to cover the east and slowly approaches the disturbance of the sound while maintaining a line of sight with Faelan*

*Adonias grins when he senses the girl from the oyu'baat long before she makes a tumble down from her overhead perch. His eyes lock on her retreating form and he politely excuses himself from the vendor and follows her towards a nearby hangar and takes notice of the landspeeder. His curiosity prompts him to descretely maintain a safe distance although he keeps a hand near the blaster holstered at his right thigh. He is cautious however when he senses two other people up ahead*

*From her hiding spot, Raine watched Faelan draw his blaster and move toward her position. The other woman did the same but circled out of her sight. Knowing that she had been found, she stepped out of her hiding spot giving a sheepish grin and raised her hands in mock surrender.*
"Don't shoot, I give. I would have gone straight home if I knew I was going to be in this much trouble."

*Adonias creeps forward and crouches behind a crate. He watches carefully as the girl steps out of her hiding place and openly confronts the Mandalorian holding the blaster. Believing her to be in some form of danger, he pulls his blaster from his right thigh and moves in behind the young girl and carefully aims the weapon at Faelan*

His surprise upon learning that Raine was responsible for the noise is hidden beneath his buy'ce, and Faelan's short chuckle ( as much exasperated and surprised as it is mildly amused) is soft enough that is is unheard, only the shaking of his head discernible and, when coupled with his posture and movements as he holsters his blaster and uses hand signals to communicate to Telarial that there is no threat, indicating that Faelan is somewhat frustrated to find Raine here.
Tilting his head at an inquisitive angle when another Mandalorian appears, clearly believing that Raine is in danger, Faelan lifts his now empty hands to demonstrate that he is no threat, and then returns his attention to Raine as he believes her demeanor and his actions will ease their fellow Mandalorian's mind where Raine's safety is concerned. If the Mandalorian is not set at ease, Faelan thinks to himself with an amused half smile that is hidden beneath his buy'ce, Telarial has not yet revealed herself and is almost certainly moving stealthily into a flanking position even now.
How much trouble you are in will depend largely on what you're doing here skulking about in the shadows Raine, Faelan, keeping a wary eye on the unfamiliar Mandalorian all the while, says in Mando'a in a stern tone before lifting a hand, palm held upwards to waggle his fingers to invite her in a tone that wants to sound stern but is not entirely without an amused and affectionate notes contained in it as well, Go on then, let's hear it.

*Adonias's eyes widen considerably and he curses in frustration once he feels the blaster barrels digging into his backside. How could he have been so careless?! It was rather unusual...hardly anyone ever got the drop on him. There is something...oddly familiar about the young woman standing behind him. He drops his weapon with a loud clatter and frowns with clear disdain as Telarial shoves him forward to join Faelan and Raine. He raises his hands in surrender and speaks in Galactic Basic.*
"Clearly there has been a misunderstanding..."

*Raine dropped her hands and gave a sigh.* "Okay. Lorcan said I should come find you because I kinda got into a small fist fight today with a couple other kids. The only reason though is because they were beating up one of my friends, so I beat all three of the bullies up. Then...the fight kinda ended up in the Oyu'baat, and I got in trouble. Luckily no law enforcement was involved...this time. Then there was this guy at the Oyu'baat, he seemed suspicious so I followed him. That's how I found you here."
*She turned at the sound of some one yelling and saw Adonias. Startled that he followed her in here, she darted behind Faelan, using him as a shield.* "That's the guy!"

Raine's proficiency at finding fights to get into, justified or not so justified, seems less pressing an issue than the fact that the Mandalorian that had leapt to defend her when Falean and Telarial had come to investigate the noise she had made is, rather confusingly, the very same Mandalorian that Raine had attempted to trail from the Oyu'baat.
Faelan, given that Telarial has the seemingly now unarmed Mandalorian covered with her weapon, sees no need to draw his own, instead resting his free hand on the grip of his holstered KD-39 pointedly as he puts his other arm around Raine's shoulders in a protective gesture while he centers his T-visor on the Mandalorian she had been following, saying in Basic as that is the language the Mandalorian had spoken in, Let us all hope for your sake that our current situation is a mere misunderstanding. I think it best you explain why it is you seem to have taken such an interest in, he pats Raine's shoulder as much to soothe her while intentionally revealing his affection and regard for her as to indicate who he is referring to, this girl.

*Adonias lowered his hands and frowns.*
"I was cordial enough to offer this girl an escort home while in the Oyu'baat. Her seemingly...preoccupied...guardian..."
*Adonias's next statement made his distaste for Lorcan's rather careless nature quite evident.*
"Lorcan was it? Was far too...engaged to follow through with his own proposal to harbor her safe passage through the city."
*He raised his hands in a supplicating gesture*
"This girl and I had a brief conversation, during which I discovered...she and I seem to share a common background. When she declined my offer to act as temporary escort, I honored her wishes. She followed me here....why she is suspicious of me is rather understandable. She is street smart. She knows, just as I learned at her age...not to trust anyone."
