After stalking into the medcenter after arriving, Lorcan had spoken only to inform the staff of his desire that he and Raine be tested to determine whether he is, as Raine believes, her father.
After his blood is drawn and he is informed that the results will take twenty to thirty minutes, Lorcan drop into a chair in the waiting room, where he watches the chrono hanging on the wall as the minutes tick by steadily.
When a lab technician comes with a sealed envelope and asks who it should be given to, Lorcan waves a hand towards Raine, as unaware that he then begins to hold his breath as she is given the envelope as he is unaware of what he will feel when the results are read.

*Raine waited, more or less, patiently for the results. She sat directly across from Lorcan, all the while trying to think of something to say. When the nurse showed up and passed the envelope to her, Raine almost froze. She took the envelope in an almost cautious manner and pulled the paper out. Giving it a quick scan, she almost cursed herself for not having very good reading skills., all part of being an orphan she queried. Slowly ahead read the information, sometimes stumbling over words. In the end though she learned one thing, she was in fact Lorcans kid.*
*Standing up, she walked over to Lorcan and held the paper up for him to read. All the while she stared right at him. Her grey eyes held almost no emotion at all, which seemed contrary to what most people would be feeling. Her eyes were cold, almost like a winter storm. The entire time she stood there, she said nothing, just letting it all sink in for Lorcan.*

When Raine walks over with the results and holds them up, Lorcan is unsure what to expect given that she appears to have no reaction to having read them. For his part, Lorcan is glad that he kept his buy'ce on when, after learning that Raine truly is his daughter, he feels himself frown; not in disappointment, but in realization of how his reaction to Raine when she first made him aware of what she had come to believe could very well have poisoned whatever relationship they might have had if he had reacted better, and in fear that he has already proven to himself and to Raine just how poor a father he will probably be.
Unsure what to say or whether there is anything he can say to try and at least begin to set things between himself and Raine right, Lorcan sits up straighter and, the weight of the responsibility that has been dropped into his lap without any chance for him to prepare for it suddenly too much to bear, lowers his head in a defeated posture and says dejectedly and with rare unadorned honesty, ::You poor thing. Tee was right you know, you do deserve better.::

*Raine put the paper into her pocket and shook her head.* " I don't need sympathy Lorcan. As far as deserving better, well I can't be ungrateful. For starters, I thought I didn't have a family anymore. Living somewhat alone for so long makes you appreciate the things most take for granted. Besides, you can't be that bad of a father since you haven't really tried yet."

Nodding enthusiastically, never one to turn down an offered escape from needing to apologize or dwell on the unpleasant, Lorcan says, "'lek, you make a good point there. Slapping his hands on his knees and standing with a grin, gladly shedding the self-pity and doubts he had exhibited a moment before with the ease of someone who seldom indulges in either often, Lorcan says, We'll just, uh, consider this finding stuff out a cin vhetin, * alright? Nodding as though agreeing to his proposal, Lorcan waves a hand to signal Raine to follow him as he starts heading for the speeder, continuing to talk with an abundantly clear sense of hopeful optimism mixed with the faintest hint of anxiety, Wow, we have a lot of time to make up for, you know? I mean, I feel like I've missed out on so much, and this has to kind of weird for you too, right? I mean, you don't know that much about me, and I don't know much about you. It's like, he waves his hands around frantically with a theatrically panicked expression, where the frak do we even start, right? Opening the passenger door of the speeder for Raine, Lorcan walks around to the drivers side as, continuing to speak with hardly any pauses for breath or interruption, he goes on as they get underway for Norg Bral, Like, how do you feel about baby-sitting your younger brother, and are you even ready for the verd'goten when you turn thirteen? Your training should have started at eight. And, have you been taught to adhere to the Resol'nare? Looking over at Raine and pursing his lips in thought, Lorcan says, We'll have to do something about the lack of beskar'gam soon, won't we? Start training with blasters, edged weapons, and CQC. Looking genuinely worried for a moment as he ponders what else he might have to be sure a daughter learns, he asks, I don't have to have any serious discussions about, like, I don't know female plumbing issues and training bras or, you know, birds and bees type things, do I? Please, please tell me someone has already had those talks with you."

*Raine gave a faint grin when Lorcan mentioned starting with a clean slate. The grin quickly faded when he mentioned how much catching up they had to do, and he was right. Then came all the questions, she rolled her eyes as she climbed into the speeder and began to answer each question in turn.* "I might be able to babysit him. No I haven't had any training for the verd'goten though. I do know how to fight though I learned that from...places." *She had almost said the Jedi Temple, but she wasn't ready to give out that information yet.* "The Resol'nare? Maybe? But..you can remind me about it. So I can get beskar'gam then?" *She crinkled her nose some at the last questions. At first she wanted to mess with him, but decided better since he's had such a rough day already.* "Female problems? Some, not a lot. I don't think you'll need to worry about that. I can just ask Telarial or Raicheal, they'll be more informed."

Looking immensely relieved when Raine suggests that Telarial or Raicheal would be more ideal candidates for certain topics, Lorcan gives her a thumbs up and says, "I like the way you think, they'd, uh, definitely be more, you know, comfortable and informed about, um, that kind of stuff, and then, eager to move on from that topic, nods as he says, Right, beskar'gam, definitely need to get you some. Well, probably not beskar iron for your first set, you'll grow out of it, right, so maybe plastoid or Stygian-triprismatic polymer, waving that subject aside with an, Eh, we'll figure that out when we get it made, Lorcan goes off on a tangent to explain briefly, Wearing armor is one of the six tenets of the Resol'nare, and then tangents again, wondering aloud, I wonder what color would be good for your armor, then shakes his head, We'll talk about that later."
Drumming his fingers on the steering yoke as he makes a slight course adjustment, Lorcan says, "Any thoughts on what kind of weapon you'd like as your primary? You strike me as more a blaster type than a rifle sort, but what do I know? We'll need to get you something anyway, start a training regime that includes shooting, tactics, survival skills, all that good stuff. We might have to see about an extension for your verd'goten depending on the kind of progress we can make, shrugging his shoulders, Lorcan grins as he apologizes, Sorry, thinking aloud, I want to make sure, he waves a hand, realizing he is about to go off again, then asks after remembering something Raine had mentioned earlier, So, what were these places you mentioned learning at, and what is you learned at them?"

*Raine listened intently to everything Lorcan said about Beskar'gam, even the rambling. She thought for a second when he mentioned color, one already came to mind. Her attention turned back to Lorcan when he mentioned weapons. She opened her mouth to speak, but couldn't get a word in. When he asked about these places she learned at, Raine paused and hesitated, before speaking almost hesitantly.* "Those places? They were...well on Nar Shaddaa. Which is where I was orphaned, but you know that already. A group of other orphans and I used to hang with knew this one guy, he used to be a Jedi, I guess anyway way. He never actually used the force as long as we new him. He taught us how to fight and how to survive. Said he didn't want to see us die, he'd seen to many die in his years. He was old, really old when we first met him. But...he still knew how to fight. For years we learned. Then one day....he was gone. Said he was tired, went to bed early, but...he didn't wake up. Shortly after that, I ended up here."

*Adonias was more than worried. He had felt his twin sister's force plea for help. He remembered that Faelan promised him that he would take care of Telarial and protect her. Frowning, he was tempted to go out and start looking for her...but had a feeling that his sister was going to be alright. He gathered up his belongings after eating a quick breakfast and then checked out of the hotel. He headed downtown to the marketplace. If he was going to find the answers he was desperately searching for...he would first need a clue. Adonias figured that it would be wise to confirm that he had in fact at one point in time, been a citizen of Mandalore. After consulting a map of the city and asking for directions, he soon found himself standing on the steps of the Census bureau. He went inside, going straight towards the reception desk. The clerk greeted him. Adonias didn't waste much time with pleasant formalities.*
"I need to see your records. Specifically any pertaining to me."

"A maybe Jedi huh? Lorcan asks after Raine explains where she had received some of her training, his tone more surprised than anything, and devoid of any discernible distaste for Jedi. Probably taught you Broken Gate, Lorcan muses, his tone now one indicative of a respect for the Jedi as, going off on another tangent, he adds, Lotta the use your opponent's momentum against them and immobilization with joint locks, yeah? Nodding he explains, I picked up a bit from the Jedi I fought with against the Sith and other Darksiders in the Crusades against Force users. All but rolling his eyes as he says with undisguised contempt in his tone, Waste of a lot of Mando'ade lives if you ask me, but what could we do when the Mand'alor called us all to arms, right? There have always been Force users, always will be, and it isn't the Force sensitivity that is the problem, but how the individual sensitives use it, right? I mean, sure, I get the whole there have been a lot of wars and crap that started because the Darksiders wanted to rule the universe or wipe out the Lightsiders, but, he scoffs, that's hardly unique, is it? Someone is always fighting with someone else for this or that, and someone will always be fighting someone else for one reason or another, so . . . waving a hand to dismiss the subject before he gets too worked up, Lorcan clucks his tongue and says, Anyway, that keeps us in business, doesn't it? Makes the universe go around, prevents stagnation and atrophy of civilizations, and, switching topics without so much as a pause, he goes on, it's also good to know that you got at least some training, foundation to build on going forward and all. Nodding, resting his chin on the back of one hand while steering with the other to bring them onto a course for Norg Bral, Lorcan, revealing a sincere commitment to seeing that Raine is brought up in the traditional Mandalorian ways, says reflectively, Yeah, lotta work ahead of us all the same. Fighting ability is only a part of what you'll need to pass the Verd'goten."
Continues here.
The Bureau clerk, after requesting whatever personal documents Adonias has to verify his identity and to make locating the relevant documents easier, performs a quick search on his dataterminal to ascertain what, if any, records are on listed as being on file in the Bureau's databanks related to Adonias.
Informing Adonias of his preliminary results, the clerk points him in the direction of the waiting area, where he can wait for the clerk to compile electronic and hard copies of the records which have been located. After nearly an hour, the clerk finds Adonias and hands him a datacard containing electronic copies of all existing records related to Adonias as well as a large folder which contains printed hard copies of those records as well as any certificates or other legal documents which were located, after which he informs Adonias of the payment options available to him to settle the bill he has incurred.

*Once the clerk returned with what Adonias requested he was rather surprised to see that the clerk found more than he expected. After paying the fee with the last of his money, he sighed as he sat back down and began to peruse the documents. Before long his breath hitched in his throat, eyes going wide when his eyes skim over a birth certificate. He whispered almost to himself as he fingered the document that had so recently been enclosed in the envelope.*
"So it is true..."
*The birth certificate listed the names of both parents. That, coupled with the other records the clerk had given him, confirmed that he was a citizen of Mandalore. He looked up at the clerk with concern.*
"Am I allowed to keep these copies? And do you know where my parents are currently located?"
*Adonias remembered Telarial telling him that their parents were dead but he was determined nonetheless to locate where their remains had been laid to rest.*

A'den listened to the salesman's pitch. He did not know what NCO could or would spend, as, for as far as A'den was concerned, NCO was in charge of teh financing. A'den had figured out he could switch to a private comm, where only NCO could hear him...What do you think, buir? NCO responded on the same channel, while the salesman waited patiently. Buurenar suspected they were having a private conversation, as vode often did, and had the grace to wait for it's conclusion in silent stillness. NCO didn't want A'den to feel crushed by the prospect of buying a new ship, but he also didn't want the boy to get used to having a crutch of a buir either. So he decided to play his hand carefully and hope the boy's resourcefulness kicked in. No one made a living on the streets of any world without picking up some resourcefulness, right? This is your choice to make ad. If funds are your concern, you need not worry, you can afford to buy the entire lot and every ship on it today. For everything else, you will need experience to make the best choice. There are no bad decisions here, no wrong choices. Make your choice and remember that it is yours.*A'den looked at the sales man.* We'll take it.

*Adonias remembered Telarial telling him that their parents were dead but he was determined nonetheless to locate where their remains had been laid to rest.* After confirming that Adonias can keep the copies of the documents he had been shown, the clerk requests a moment to conduct a records search to determine what information about Adonias's parents is a matter of public record.
The clerk's expression is as officious and blank as ever when, after returning from the search, an envelope containing copies of all available documents and infromation on file concerning Adonias's parents is placed on the counter and then, accompanied by a statement making it clear that the copies of the documents can be kept by Adonias, slid over to be examined by Adonias.

Buurenaar smiled again behind his helm, the lad knew what he wanted. He would be a fine vod in just a few short years with confidence like that. Buurenaar nodded once, and pulled the necessary form for the transfer of the registration and then asked if A'den would be paying the full sum or would prefer to make payments over time?
I remind A'den of his credit voucher, and then, let him decide how to handle the rest. I begin walking around the vessel, giving it a proper once over. The lot had an excellent reputation, so I didn't expect to find anything wrong, but I checked out of habit. As I suspected, the ship appeared to be in excellent, if slightly used, condition. It would make an excellent first ship for A'den. I stop next to him as he and Buurenaar finish the details of the sale, and wait for him to open the ship and look inside. If the lad wanted to leave straight away, I knew where we needed to go and we could lift off right away if he so desired. Or we could take time to explore the ship, and go over the basics of flying so A'den would understand what I was doing as we lifted off later. Either way, as long as we leave by the end of the day, Buurenaar would leave with the finished sale, and not bother us again, though he would be on the lot if either have questions for him later.

*Adonias thanked the clerk profusely before snatching the envelope. Rather than study the materials held within right away, he decided it best to leave in the event the information was going to cause a public upset on an emotional caliber. He went immediately to his new starfighter which he had yet to name and slid into the cockpit. He had no intention of leaving Mandalore just yet and was sure to inform the docking official. In the privacy of his cockpit, he carefully unsealed the envelope and began to read one document after another.*

*After Adonias finished reading them, he ran a hand over his smooth face with a sigh and folded the documents. He stuffed them inside his pocket and hopped out of his one-man fighter craft. He was disappointed that he had to sell his freighter but it had to be done. He couldn't afford fuel costs for such a large vessel and there was no point in flying it if he was the only one on board. Besides, the ARC-170 he was now flying was heavily modified with a thick layer of duranium metal plating. It had dual shielding, the hyperdrive was installed with a cooling unit to allow his craft to travel farther and to make it possible for multiple hyperspace jumps if the need was dire. The laser cannons were top of the line. His new ship was also equipped with state-of-the art cloaking technology. The ARC-170's missiles were upgraded from single rounds to cluster bombs. The interior of the ship was retrofitted with a mini cargo unit beneath the steering yoke. Overall, his new ship was fast, powerful, and stealthy enough to either attack or evade any threat.
He strolled from the spaceport back into Keldabe and went down to market square. He purchased additional food rations and equipment needed for his voyage. Just as he was about to return to his ship he nearly walked past a set of beskar'gam that immediately caught his eye. Despite the fact that Adonias was Mandalorian by blood...he was more Darmanda. It was disheartening to learn that most of his life...his heritage...his family had all been taken away from him. Now he had a chance to reclaim some of it. Admiring the Beskar'gam just a little longer, Adonias chose to buy it after trying it on. It was black and yellow. If there was one thing he DID know...it was the meanings behind the colors of one's beskar'gam. If he was going to reclaim his heritage...he figured he would start here.
He went and alerted the port officials that he was leaving and returned to his ship. He fired up the engines, blasted out of Keldabe spaceport, and entered Mandalore's orbit.*

Descending rapidly from orbit, the battered form of Kebiin's YX-1980 freighter settles on the outskirts of the ancient city. Killing the engines, Kebiin decides to leave his speeder behind and walk to the local watering hole. It was good to get a feel for the city, and a walk was good for clearing the head.

The Sword of Damocles, The Blade of Escalus and The Lance of Longinus set down in the Keldabe spaceport. The ships forming a triangular formation. Damocles exited his ship first, carrying the backpack since he was wearing his Jetpack. Escalus and Longinus exited their own craft a few moments later. With everyone set to go, Damocles lead the way out of the spaceport to a vehicle hire business. After a few minutes of haggling, they had themselves a landspeeder and took off out of Keldabe, heading for Norg Bral

Kebiin had intended to walk the streets of Keldabe for awhile to plan his family meeting and consider what he had heard minutes ago in the Oyu'baat, however his attention was quickly pulled away from local events. While he almost missed the commlink chirping at first, a quick glance at the message stopped Kebiin dead in his tracks. Sebin Und, his old business partner and friend had died peacefully from natural causes. Clan meetings could wait for a time, Kebiin need to visit his old friends family on Yaga Minor. Turning in place, Kebiin quickly makes his way back to his ship and speeds through the takeoff procedures. Within minutes the ship is powered and pushing upwards through the atmosphere.

NCO arrived in the streets of Keldabe, as planned. In one piece, and quite exhilarated. The new model of HALO infiltration units was progressing nicely. The shield would need some minor tweaking but it had functioned perfectly for this little test run. Not that all that many of Aliit D'ordinii bothered with such missions anymore, why risk a life when you can send a droid after all, but well, NCO and several others in leadership new that one size never fits all. So this little toy had come about, and was now a functioning HALO pack, though the really fun parts, the sensor mask, was completely absent on this model, no freebies for vode with keen eyes and too much time on their hands. The pack retracted into something heavy, and only a tad bulky compared to most battle packs, so NCO kept it on while he strolled the last block or so the Oyu'baat. He sent a message to Aya's personal comm unit, telling her he'd be arriving shortly.
