"Pirusti, Ni diba'a Ni lise jivao ohlkana at a tuur o'r vencuyot vaii ner ta'ya lise tayli kebise emuuri ibic teh bana tug'yc."1 Kal let out a hardy laugh at himself and his apparent lack of experience. "Kovid dutu warye malyasa'yr va cuyir graoti'r; ibac cuyir a gahyr."2 He took a bite of the food from his plate now, washing it back with a swig from his stein.
Turning his attention to the man at his right, the nephew of the one that had been speaking with him, he clapped Conall on the shoulder. " Gar cuy mr biaye, ner vod. Meg cuy bic ibac cuy bat gar tkiriyr?"3 He slouched back into his seat now, in a comfortable, yet similarly awkward looking pose.

It had been several years. Kaine had had his apprehensions about returning to Manda'yaim, but he had no regrets ever since landing. The smells, the air, it was home. Home was worth all the baggage. Whatever challenges awaited, he would meet them as Mando'ad. What was necessary, he would do. And he would ensure Mandalore stood strong and defiant once again.
Removing their helms and clipping them to their belts as they entered, Kaine, accompanied by his loyal companion, Darzeka, walked into Oyu'baat. Kaine's blue eyes took in the crowd, and then he headed for the bar, and ordered tihaar for the both of them. Once their drinks arrived, Kaine raised his glass high, and Darzeka followed suit.
To Clan Australis, and Mandalore! Darzeka echoed the toast. Ordering a second round, he made one of his own. To General Kaine, back from the dead! Kaine laughed and drank. The two slugs of tihaar in quick succession gave him a nice headspin, and he took a stool, as his companion did the same.
It's been far too long, vod'ika. Tell me what you've been up to. I'm sure it was more interesting than prison. The two men began a long conversation, where Darzeka detailed the fall of the clan, all the deaths and destruction, the failed crusade, and the diaspora. Kaine took it all in, and filled his friend in on the events that led to his capture and imprisonment on Belsavis, and the exploits that had led to his escape. He left out a few dishonourable parts, no one needed to hear the depths he'd sunk to in order to survive, but it was good to finally get it all out. The two friends shared a cathartic moment, and both were the better for having laid their burdens down.
Now, they could both look to the future unencumbered by the weight of the past. For their Clan needed them. And so, Kaine thought, did the Mando'ade.

Hokaar Shukalan walked into the Oyu'baat after his crew and ship landed in Keldabe. The Mandalorian had taken transportation to the Oyu'baat after ensuring his crew had a list of what they needed and the necessary funds to purchase. He walked into the ancient cantina, approaching the front to get himself a black Ne'tra gal ale, a famously brewed alcohol that was a signature drink in Oyu'baat. He removed his helmet, setting it on the counter so that he could have his drink. Despite the many years apart from Mandalore, it seemed like only days ago that Hokaar had landed in his starfighter and left with his corvette. One of the greatest achievements of his life perhaps. He grabbed the glass once it was set before him and drank it.

Kaine spotted Hokaar entering, and excused himself from Darzeka. He heaved himself off his stool and walked across to where Hokaar was finishing off his Ne'tra gal.
Kaine felt genuine gratitude towards the man, he'd stepped in to intervene when the Hutt thugs were trying their best to kill Kaine back in Mos Espa, on Tatooine. He'd shown himself to be capable, and the skill and efficiency shown by his men indicated he was a talented and capable leader. Both of these attributes made him an attractive prospect for recruitment. Kaine was always looking for capable individuals.
Kaine cleared his throat and made his approach.
I think I owe you a drink, ner vod. He hailed the bartender with a wave. Another round, i'll have what he's having. The bartender quickly returned with two more Ne'tra gal ales for the two Mandos.
Hokaar aliit Shukalan. You mentioned you're looking for work. Clan Australis is looking for capable vode. Mandalore is going to need all her sons in the very near future. That was true. If Mandalore was to rise from dereliction and despair, every vode worth his beskar'gam needed to step up and be counted. The time for Mandalorian resurgence was now.

Just as Hokaar was finishing his sip of the black ale, his ears caught someone clearing their throat. The Mandalorian glanced to see Kaine Australis approaching him. His eyes then noticed the second glass of Ne'tra gal ale, making Hokaar down his first one quickly and swiftly so that he could grab the second glass. Then his ears caught the proposal made by Kaine, pausing to look at his glass for a moment before turning to the Mandalorian.
My crew and I always look for work. Not just for the pay, but for the thrill and the experience; such as killing that female Acklay on Felucia. Many of my crew members are from Dxun, save a few Mandalore-born themselves and Drevarions that we hired on Concord Dawn.
Hokaar drinks his second glass of ale before speaking further. The prospect of work was always a welcomed tone to his ears. It kept his mind busy as well as his crew. Kept them efficient and working, like a well-built machine.
We've always been a wandering group, mind you. Finding the next job to keep us running, keep our gear clean and ensure there is plenty of Tihaar for everyone. If your clan is looking for capable Mandalorians, than it is your judgement that shall determine if we are or not, Kaine aliit Australis. And it is by your judgement that I shall accept your proposal. I will not boast claims to give us an advantage.

Kaine considered Hokaar's words carefully. To join a clan was a serious business, not to be undertaken lightly. Kaine had brought many into his Clan over the years, and it was always a carefully weighed decision. After quick consideration, he made his mind up.
Kaine gave Hokaar a grin.
I swear that as members of Clan Australis, you will always have a purpose, support, and plenty of tihaar for everyone. Your actions on Tatooine speak louder than any words. If you are willing, I extend to you an invitation to join Clan Australis, and stand with us as brothers, from this time, until the end of time.
He held out his hand. This would call for a celebration, and they were in the right place for that. Then, it would be time to get down to business, and as Mando'ade, they were in the right place for that too.

Hokaar looks at Kaine for a moment, then down at his hand. This was a huge offer by a powerful Mandalorian; Clan Australis and, more specifically, General Kaine as he was popularly known as, was well known for its reputation and power. Indeed, aligning with such a clan would ensure his crew never had a time of rest unless they needed it. It would always ensure that his crew had support somewhere at least.
After a few moments, Hokaar reaches out and grips Kaine's hand. An affirmative nod is given to the General.
I cannot refuse such an offer, General. My crew could really use the continuous support instead of wandering and trying to find any kind of temporary support through clients. And though that has its advantages, solid and continuous support will be more helpful in the long run.
Hokaar reaches for his drink and then a thought came across his mind. He returns his gaze to Kaine.
Quick question, does that make me an Australis or what?

Kaine stepped back, and took his own drink, then raised it high. His voice boomed out across Oyu'baat. Clan Australis has a new brother. All drinks are on the Clan. For Mandalore!
OYA! Shouts of Oya, Manda! and Oya! rang out in reply, the crowd buoyed by the spirit in Kaine's voice, and possibly also the offer of free booze. Kaine took a swig of the ale and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. He grinned again at Hokaar.
Any Australis can make an Australis, and now you're one too. Any and all of your men are welcome, you just need to officially invite them, and later on, let me know, so i can keep our rosters current. Welcome to the aliit, ner vod.
If you have any questions, or need anything specific, let me know, anywhere, anytime. Kaine hit a button on his datapad, which sent a short burst transmission to Hokaar, containing Clan command codes, and Kaine's personal comm code, which linked directly to his buy'ce.
For now, is there anything you need from me right away?

Hokaar raised his drink in response to the toast. It felt right to the Mandalorian; joining a living clan instead of leading a desolate one. Though he was now an Australias, Hokaar would never forget his Dxun origins and birth surname. It was indeed for the best though; his crew could use the continuous support from a stronger Mandalorian one.
His gauntlet went off as the communication and command codes for Clan Australis were sent to him. Hokaar keyed for them to be saved to his personal comm device and had them, along with a message, be sent to the crew in orbit and on the surface. After that was completed, the Mandalorian pondered for a moment as he drank his ale.
There is nothing that I can think of, General. My men and I have managed to provide for ourselves over the years. Although, my senior officers and I have been discussing means expand our ranks and fleet capacity. We are a one vessel fleet with only two starfighters and a gunship. That can only go so far.

Kaine was thoughtful, even feeling the joy at welcoming new brothers to the Clan. The mention of expanding troops and fleets had his mind racing. Already, the framework of a plan was forming in his mind. He could use Bonadan Heavy Industry, but if he was going to be making regular orders of capital ships, eventually he would need to expand his sources. But that was a problem for later, outfitting Hokaar and his people wouldn't stretch his current resources.
Kaine nodded as Hokaar outlined his status and need to expand his forces.
I can provide you with the ability to fit out a full battle fleet, and secure you the equipment and ground forces that you need. Do you have specific vessels and other craft in mind? My contacts in the Corporate Sector will be able to handle the orders, I just need to know what you think you require.
I recommend using Mandalorian designs, but that's hardly compulsory. Kaine considered the options open, he could provide pretty much anything that was on the market across the galaxy, and hide the purchases through the CorpSec contacts. For the time being. Eventually, outside interests were bound to notice that the Corporate Sector seemed to be arming itself heavily.

Hokaar could see the enthusiasm in Kaine's voice. Either he was a military man or was happy to have someone new in his clan, but most likely it was both. The eagerness and willing attitude to fulfill his crew's needs was exactly what Hokaar had hoped for when joining Clan Australis. He remains quiet for a moment, pondering upon what was exchanged between him and his senior officers.
We were planning some standard recruitment on Mandalore, Concord Dawn and Concordia whenever we managed to secure a new ship. Our eyes were laying upon a Keldabe-class Battleship, an Aggressor-class Star Destroyer and perhaps another Crusader-class Corvette.
He then remembered the words of his First Officer, a rather bold suggestion Hokaar recalled.
My first officer even suggested a Secutor-class Star Destroyer at our last meeting... my senior officers and myself were surprised by his proposal. He was suggesting a 200 million credit, 2,200 meter warship that could house 14,000 troops, 144 starfighters and manned by a crew of 40,000. I have to say, he has guts and balls to suggest something like that. Reason why I hired him.

Conall had just been sitting thereat the table half way listening to what was being spoken by the two there with him. One was Cathaoir, the aliit'alor of his own clan and the other a Vhett clansman he'd managed to rescue off Yavin IV. The man's injuries he'd managed to treat with battlefield dressings and bacta stimulants on the short flight over, but they'd not really spoke much. Hell, he barely remember the Mandalorian's name, but even so, he was vode and that entitled him as family in a sense.
Throughout the conversation that had commenced between Cathaour and Kalmann, Conall's mind had simply managed to drift, though not settling on anything other than blank thoughts, really. Casual day dreaming with no rhyme or reason was all he could think that it would be. With his inattentiveness, he even managed to unintentionally ignore Kalmann's words as they came across in his direction.
Reaching down with a free hand, he grasped his stein of Tihaar and drained it in a single fluid motion, sending his head into a dizzying spin. The stuff here was strong . . . even stronger than they made it back home on Ordo. Closing his eyes, he attempted to steady his spiraling mind only to open them with a diminished amount of success. Before him now lay the figure of a man, he'd only seen in passing a time or two. A man who lead a clan was but an infant in comparison to the large history, tradition and heritage of his own clan.
Conall turned his attention toward his aliit now, still completely oblivious that Kalmann had previous attempted to speak to him. "Alor, cuyir va ibac Kaine Australis ogir? Mirdi ibac jag gana jigr at a kyr'ad munit a'yao."1

Kaine considered Hokaar's suggestions and ideas. The Secutor was an impressive model, certainly, and firepower was something one could never have too much of, in Kaine's opinion, it was better to expend credits than lives. He considered the other ships Hokaar had mentioned, and he was an admirer of these particular designs, utilizing several Keldabe-class ships in his own fleet.
A good idea is a good idea, and something as irrelevant as money shouldn't come in the way of its realization. If you want a Secutor-Class, we'll organize to get hold of one. Keldabes are great platforms for heavy fighting, but there's something to be said for the psychological effect of dropping into a system aboard a large Star Destroyer.
Crusader gunships are among the best anti-starfighter platforms available, and they have the added bonus of the Mandalorian connection. Still, no rule says you have to use only Mando built and designed stuff. I don't. If it's what you need to get the job done, then go for it.
Don't worry about the credits. There are a lot of fat wallets in the Corporate Sector. It wasn't that Kaine didn't trust his new brother, but Hokaar didn't need to know, yet, about exactly how Kaine had access to so much available funds, nor exactly where it was coming from. Belsavis had been nasty, and not fun, but he had left with something to compensate him for the lost years. Information was always the most valuable commodity in the galaxy, if it was the right information about the right barve.
Kaine considered the issue of recruitment, but that had never been a problem. Plenty of vode wanted to join the Clan. He was at leisure to pick and choose the very best people. Hokaar would find a ready stream of willing, capable recruits on most Mando worlds. Lots of hungry vode scratching a living as bounty hunters or guards that would much rather have honour, a purpose, and a full belly, not to mention decent kit and the comradeship of brothers. Kaine had met thousands over the decades he'd counted himself a Mando'ade. He knew there wouldn't be too much difficulty outfitting their growing Clan.
Already, Kaine was considering the lack of clear and stable leadership among the Clans. He'd noticed a few vode bearing the marks of Ordo and Vhett around. It would soon be his task to seek out the other Clan Chiefs and do a little forward planning. Hopefully the kind settled over a few flagons of good tihaar, and not the kind where he had to beat or kill his brothers to get them to see sense, something he'd never taken pleasure in.

Ad’Atins mother, Natasi Australis, had left Ad’Atin and her brother in the care of an Auntie upon discovery of Kaine being missing, rumoured dead. Once names Vihn and Arla, she had renamed them for their own protection. For 6 years she had been in and out of the lives of the children, returning to Mandalore for a short time before leaving once more. In their mothers absence their Uncle would train the twins while raising them as their own, and when their mother would return there would be loud arguments that the twins would listen to. Ad would listen to her mother defending her father while her Uncle and Aunt would be telling her to move on and face the fact that her father had left Natasi. Her mother would spend hours forcing the twins to listen to stories of their father, making him out to be some kind of god and hero, while their Uncle would be telling them that he was nothing more than a womanising drunk who abandoned the twins and their mother. Aged 9 the uncle of the twins had the heartbreaking task of telling the twins that their mother had been killed. She had been killed while trying to find their father.
Her brother had done well, he had grieved and then he had moved on. Being force sensitive he had gone off to train with the Jedi, but Ad had not been able to move on. The images of her mother distraught and living only to find their father haunted her. She had on her person still the holopics of her mother and father on their wedding day, the holopics of her mother gazing lovingly at their father as he accepted the helm. So many images were now ingrained in her brain as her mother had made it so. Ad had continued the training with her Uncle and was now an affective mercenary and had completed jobs solo. She was earning her own money and at the age of 19 she was ready to leave the homestead and make her own way in the world. The time to leave was now and despite the protests of her Aunt and Uncle, she would leave. Her Uncle had bought home the news over breakfast. Her father was not dead, Kaine was back on Mandalore and was re-establishing the Clan Australis. Her Uncle had been right, he had abandoned herself, Vihn and her mother. Almost immediately Ad had risen from the table and was packing her belongings, She was off to find her father and was going to make him pay for all he had done to them. She was going to destroy everything he held dear and then she would kill him, but she would kill him slowly. She wanted him to feel the pain her mother lived for 6 years, she wanted him to feel the pain that herself and Vihn had lived.
In her room she was throwing in a few staple pieces of clothing into a small duffle bag as her Aunt enters the room. She walks over to Ad and places a loving hand on her shoulder and turns her…
cyar'ika, you are like my own. I love you and I cannot see you destroy yourself like this. Please, do not do this. Buir is a powerful man. He is an experienced soldier, this mission will end in death. Let it go. It killed Natasi, do not let it kill you too.
Biting back tears, Ad looked upon her Auntie and kissed her tenderly upon the cheek…
Ba'vodu. I need to do this, even if only to ask why…
Shaking her head her Aunt looked upon her sternly…
Do not lie to me, cyar'ika. I have raised you and know you to be as stubborn as your mother and as hotheaded as your Buir! I know what you plan on doing!
Turning from her Aunt Ad finishes her packing and secures her bag and lifts it from the chair of which it sat…
Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, Ba’vodu. I am doing this. I need to do this.
Kissing her on the cheek, Ad walks from the room quickly and takes a deep breath to halt the tears that threatened to fall. Seeing her Uncle stood by the door she stops and stares. He takes a deep breath and steps to the side of the door.
I have transferred credits into your account…he holds up his hand to silence her and continues…you are taking the credits! I know you need to do this, but do not do anything stupid. She was my vod and I want to see him pay for what he did to her, but doing what you plan to do, it will destroy you. Make his life hell, but do not take his life. Please.
Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, Ba’vodu. I shall check in with you soon.
Smiling softly at him, she raises herself onto the tips of her toes and kisses him softly upon the cheek and then leaves the house. She stepped out of the door and threw her bag into the speeder and climbed into the speeder. She set off for the Oyu'baat.
Climbing out of the speeder, Ad steps inside the Oyu'baat with her helm under her arm and immediately approached the bar.
1 Tihaar…She looked around the bar and immediately she saw him. Ad would never have expected to have found him so quickly and the surprise of it had her rooted to the spot, frozen. She stood there staring at the man from the pictures, Ad had no memory of him other than what her own buir had told her. He was the same as he was in her pictures, older and slightly more silver, but otherwise he looked no different. It must have been no longer than a minute that she stood staring but to her, it felt much longer. To anyone else in the bar she probably looked like an admirer, if only they knew. It was the voice of the barman that woke her from her shocked state… Vor entye
She sat herself down upon the bar stool and sat her helm to the side of her and slipped the credits across the bar.
That is Kaine Australis, right?
He took the credits and gave her a nod before walking off to serve another. She crossed her legs and leaned against the bar while continuously looking over to him and trying to think of how to proceed.

Don't worry about the credits. There are a lot of fat wallets in the Corporate Sector. Hokaar drinks from his second glass of ale, recalling the meetings with his senior officers. They had discussed all sorts of various warships and possible additions to make their fleet more flexible with firepower and crew. Being able to house more soldiers could ensure more fierce and complex operations that bordered on the line of military classification. Having more available crews and ships would ensure more jobs could be done, making the entire group under Hokaar's command not only feel like an organization, but also be able to grab more credits for the sake of their wallets.
The Mandalorian was surprised that Kaine was willing to get him a Secutor-class Star Destroyer. Yet, now that he was a part of a clan, his fleet would not only have to be outfitted to his own designs, but be able to aid the clan overall, not just his motley crew of hired hands. Setting his drink down, Hokaar turned his gaze directly at Kaine. What it comes down to, General, is what the clan needs and, more so, what the Mandalorian Empire needs. A Secutor-class Star Destroyer is essentially a starfighter and troop carrier, perfect for long term military operations. Yet, the other designs gives me fleet flexibility and a range of firepower, good for attaching to a fleet for any sort of operations and being able to be detached for other missions. What do you think Clan Australis needs from me?As he looked over at Kaine, his eyes noticed the looks of a female and another male. While the female seemed to have no clan markings, the male on the other hand seemed to bare the crest of Clan Ordo. Hokaar turns to reach for his glass.Seems your presence in the Oyu'baat is earning you some interesting looks, General. You been gone a long time from Mandalore, I take it?

Kaine considered the options as Hokaar spoke. There was an easy answer, to his question; Firepower. Still, there were many ways to skin a Cathar... He sighed inwardly, good ale had been hard to come by on his travels, and he hadn't seen a drop on Belsavis.
Kaine took a swig of his ale as he formulated his response.
Yeah, it seems i've been recognized. It was bound to happen, I guess. Once upon a time, I held the title of Mand'alor. I had to step away for personal reasons, family issues. People get to hearing about you when you're the leader of an entire people. Still, I don't anticipate trouble, not here.
He took another long pull on the ale, and put down the empty mug. It's been my experience that you cannot anticipate long-term needs, so it is best to plan for war, and make changes when specific mission requirements present themselves.
I don't know your people well yet, so I'm not in a position to effectively plan for their needs. It's down to a question of style.
Personally, I find building my fleet around ship-to-ship combat for large fleet engagements is the best way to support Mandalore in time of war. I only field two squadrons of fighters, but can field several large capital ships and their support craft. This allows my force to fight effectively alone, or as part of a larger armada. For small jobs, a single ship and a squad of fighters can detach from the main force to avoid overly intimidating certain targets.
However, that isn't to say a single large capital ship with more fighters couldn't do as well if not better. It's certainly not a bad option.
Essentially, though, ner vod, the choice is yours. Kaine sat back in his seat, adopting a relaxed pose, and taking a quick check of the nearby vode. His gaze lingered for a moment on the female, who seemed to have most of her attention on him.
He didn't recognize her, but he did feel as if he should, which was strange. She'd have been a child when he was prominent among the Mandalorians, so she wasn't a comrade in arms, hell, she was young enough to be his daughter, even a granddaughter, but he hadn't gotten started that early. A sharp pang of regret touched him, as he briefly thought of his own family, now lost to him. He knew his wife, his love, the mother of his children, Natasi, was gone, and that his children; a son, Vihn, and a daughter, Arla, had disappeared. He'd found no evidence that they still lived, and had accepted, reluctantly, that they too were no more.
He couldn't think about them during his time on Belsavis. He'd had to become harder, to do things he would never have done under normal circumstances, and the experience had changed him markedly. Before Belsavis, he'd given up his life, his family, his clan, everything, to go on a mission of vengeance. The saying went 'before embarking on a mission of vengeance, dig two graves'. Kaine hadn't beaten the odds, they'd beaten him. His mission had cost him everything but his life, and he didn't even know whether he had succeeded. Too many traumas did strange things to memory, and that didn't even take into consideration the damage he'd suffered battling enemies on the hellhole that was Belsavis that used the Force in strange and troubling ways.
His last memory before the painful early days on the prison planet was finding a lead, and following it to the planet Korriban. After that, he knew that several years had gone by, but he remembered nothing of that time. He remembered the three years on Belsavis, the horror would never leave him. It actually frightened him to think what could have been so much worse as to make him forget entirely. Experiences like that changed anyone they didn't kill, and they hadn't quite killed Kaine Australis.
He was a different man now, with many good and bad years behind him. At fifty years of age, he knew he didn't have many years left in his prime, so time was a factor, but he gave himself a decade at least before he'd have to change his lifestyle. Considering the time he had left to him brought Kaine back to the present. He made a mental note to find out who the girl was, then filed it away, and turned his attention back to his vod. Hokaar and he would build a new Clan Australis, and help to raise Mandalore high once again.
It would start, as it generally always did, in Oyu'baat. Kaine gave the young woman a nod, then looked back to Hokaar.
We could certainly use more starfighters, so my preference is the Secutor, but it's entirely your decision, and I will support it fully.

She should have turned away from his as his gaze hovered upon her, but she couldn’t, she was transfixed. She had wanted to be subtle, to have been clever but the surprise of him being here had left her transfixed. In her mind she would have had to search him down and done some recon, then planned what she was going to do next, she had expected it to have taken a couple of weeks at least. Now here he was, in front of her and looking at her. They were looking at each other. Her eyes were glued to him as a rush of emotions, feelings and memories flooded her mind. There were the eyes that for every day for as far back as she could remember had looked upon her from the picture beside her bed. He was stood there smiling while cradling her in his arms while her mother stood there smiling and cradling Vihn, with Kaines arm wrapped around her mothers shoulder. The stories her mother had told her had painted him as the most amazing man you could ever meet. He was a great leader, a great Mandalor, a great warrior, a great father, a great husband and one of the most loyal, brave, clever, funny, loving and caring man to have ever existed. In Ad’s mind she had been delusional for here was this man who valued his family over all else and he was drinking in a bar and focusing upon rebuilding the clan instead of searching for his wife and children. This was not the man she had heard him speak of. The fire in her stomach was growing immeasurably; it was constricting her chest and making it difficult to breathe while causing her hands to shake. Her right hand gripped the hilt of the blaster that was secured to her right thigh tightly. While his eyes were upon her, she did not look away, she wanted to sprint across the bar and spill his entrails across the saloon floor. She wanted to watch the shock appear on his face as he writhed in pain, watch the pain of betrayal consume him as she explains who she is and tell him about the death of her mother. She wanted him to feel what she had felt when her Aunt and Uncle had told her of the death of her mother. Wanted him to feel the pain that her mother had felt for the years she spent searching for him. She wanted vengeance. Instead she forced herself to turn away and emptied the glass of Tihaar down her throat and took comfort in the burn it left in its path. She signalled for another and tried to compose herself while deciding what to do next. Her refill arrived and she took a sip and decided upon getting as close as possible to study him and gain his trust, she wanted the vengeance to be as painful as possible and the betrayal of someone close was the best she could get. The rest she would decide upon as she went along with him and the pathetic beings surrounding him. She downed the rest of her glass and signalled the barman once more.
Would I be correct in that Kaine is recruiting?
The barman shrugged his shoulders and refilled her glass.
I see nothing, I hear nothing. Tis the best way to keep breathing. Go ask yourself.
His held out his hand for payment and Ad slid the credits across the bar ignorantly. Picking up her buy’ce she wandered across the bar toward the table where Kaine was sat, she took a slow breath and stood before him and the others and cast her gaze upon those sat there. Feigning an impassive look and ignorance, she addressed them.
Which one of you is Kaine Australis? I am told you are recruiting.
Her voice shook slightly but her tone remained even while her words came coolly and slowly. Her eyes fell on each present as she attempted to feign ignorance to his identity and waited upon him to identify himself. She sipped her Tihaar for both courage and to appear as casual as she possibly could. She needed to remain focused and not allow her desires to overcome her.

Hokaar would finally finish his ale, setting the second glass down as well as with a handful of credits. The Mandalorian pondered upon the words and advice of his clan leader, knowing the man was far more experienced in warfare and the military than Hokaar, especially when this particular ner'vod was once a Manda'lor. Recalling what he remembered from the familiar name, Hokaar knew that Kaine Australis was once known as Manda'lor the Commando or te Ramikad. The decorated military career before and during his time as Manda'lor reflected how familiar Kaine was to the military.
Hokaar would then tap his helmet lightly upon the counter before speaking to Kaine after some time thinking.
I will speak it over with my senior officers about the suggestions. Now that we have a clan with capable resources and money, it shouldn't be too hard to determine what future fleet will become. In the mean time, I will just focus on having recruiters prowl the surface for willing personnel.
Just as he spoke, Hokaar noticed the woman from before who was now approaching where he sat with Kaine. The Mandalorian eyed her carefully; either with suspicion or his usual claim that ladies could resist his beautifully scarred face. This one was probably the first of the two, much to Hokaar's disappointment. When she spoke up, Hokaar would remain quiet and seated. But, if necessary, he would have his blaster within his hands and pointed at the woman in seconds.

Kaine nodded to Hokaar as he saw the young woman approach them. Let me know, ner vod. Link me the details once you have them. He turned to regard the young woman with a steely, ice blue gaze, appraising her as he would any warrior.
I'm Kaine. Who might you be? He was still unable to place the young woman. The feeling that he ought to know her wouldn't go away, but he couldnt logically find a reason he should know her. He tried not to let the mystery distract him from the work at hand.
Kaine flicked a glance at the barman, who was trying not to stare. Flagon of tihaar. he ordered curtly. Then he turned his gaze back on the new arrival.
It was the eyes, Kaine decided, with another pang of regret. They were like Natasi's had been. The pain wracked him internally, and it was a struggle for him to keep his expression straight. He knew in his gut he would never find another like her, not in a thousand galaxies over a million years. He'd loved her, more than anyone else in his life, and would never, could never, commit himself to another like that again. With a wrench of his will, he closed his mind off to the pain and sense of loss, and focused in on the moment.

Cathaoir looked to see that there was a man at the bar, not far from where Ka'ra had seated herself that certainly did match the for Mand'alor's description. At least physically. But, he thought that man dead as he'd not been heard of in many years now and his clan, in name and in strength had all but vanished of late. A surprise to say the least, but whether it were a good or a bad one had yet to be told. He made a gesture, more of an acknowledgement with a slight motion of his head as his eyes and those of Kaine made contact with one. It was an open invite for the man to join the three of them there, but there would be no hard feelings if the offer was refused in favor of something else.
His attention focused back onto Conall now who had notice Kaine first, and brought attention of the matter to them at the table. "Ibac cuyir. Ra at katktas latr be jag kaysh gupu cuyir."1
