As the title suggests, I am a returning veteran of the site, looking to make a come back with a new character. Don't ask about the old ones, they don't matter. What does matter is that I am looking for a spot of adventure before I settle on a world to call home. Primarily looking to see my character join a group of jedi at some point, but I will accept all comers at the start. He is new to the galaxy at large, having lived in the same valley for most of his life. Friends are nice, but if someone is hunting Force users, I am not against adversity. If this strikes anyone's fancy, feel free to give me a nudge. Can't wait to see what we get up around here!

Welcome back, veteran! I will let you know, now, that there are two Jedi groups in the universe. There are the Jedi Lords, headquartered out of Serenno (alongside Yavin, Ossus, and Lianna), that are inspired by its Legends origins with its own flare. The other group is the main Jedi order itself based out of Felucia and Corellia and led by Grandmaster Aerandir, with Mike Frantz leading the Corellian Jedi. I don't think there are any other Jedi just roaming about. Beyond that, here is a nice little summary of JvS currently to bring you up to pace. A lot has happened since you likely were last among us and I do hope we can get your character set up with a story right away! Edit: that post is a bit outdated, but it does summarize everything mostly. |

Yeah, I went looking through the Lords group and sadly, they seem largely inactive at the moment. But like I said, I am going be around a bit before settling on anything concrete, so who knows what will happen

But like I said, I am going be around a bit before settling on anything concrete, so who knows what will happen I rp as one of them, Lucien Malvern, and we are in a bit of a... lull right now. However, on our discord, we are discussing a revival of not just the Jedi Lords, but the Jedi in general, with people like Mike, Aer, Kel'Al, and others. We wanna try to make the Corellian, Felucian, and Lord sects to be more closer together for the future. Holidays have made it a bit harder to discuss as everyone is busy, but we have made some progress. Any plans/plots for your character to get back in the groove? Any way I can be of assistance there? |

At the moment, I have nothing planned for this character. He was trained as a Kilian Ranger, but when rangers leave the planet, they are basically excommunicated, meaning he had to leave his siang Lance and shield gauntlet behind. He can't fly a ship, nor does he have much in the way of credits. He's sort of a Robin Hood type at the moment, I suppose
So as for something you could help with? Pretty much just looking for something to do with this character. That could be anything though, really. I kinda just wanna see where events take him.

Given that role, I could definitely see him fitting in with the Jedi Lords easily. Another option could be with the Corellian Coalition, we had some rangers of another group, but they are MIA. Got some nobility in that territory that could use a skilled force user, such as your character, as a retainer to help him rise up. Otherwise, I could offer my character, Lucien Malvern, as an opportunity to, at least, get your feet wet and get you rolling. Won't need to commit to any of those groups, but just to help you out nonetheless. Trying to think of other opportunities we may have... I have a criminal leader named Scar. Could have an encounter at Tatooine. I have a Mandalorian, Galaar Fett, another opportunity for some encounter as he leads the military and law enforcement of the Mandalorian Assembly. I am open to any suggestions if you have any in mind! |

I also have this account which serves as an NPC account that is used to help fill the needs of writers whenever necessary. Might not help as much in terms of establishing a place in an order, but can definitely help for a story point.

I mean, I can do pretty much anything. Being that he is fairly new in the galaxy, wherever I put him, he will likely be there for a while until he either earns enough credits to leave, or someone takes him somewhere. He has no other interaction with other Force users outside of his own order, though he does atleast know of the Jedi and Sith as much as anyone else would.
My only real direction is I would like to get him trained and geared a bit better, but I dont want to rush into it, you know. He's knight level, but because of the nature of Kilia, he's a bumpkin on the galactic scale. Could meet with a jedi, or play on the Robin hood aspect with criminals, or one of the more dark aligned factions. I've done it all, and can do it again, haha

Hmmm... considering that direction you mentioned helps me think of some things.
Perhaps we can set up a two part SL that can help towards that goal: an encounter of a violent nature and an encounter of a helpful nature. One brings him to the realities of the galaxy and perhaps helps him be put in the mindset of "I need more training and more gear... and money!" while the second encounter is some of the steps in that direction. Just to help you get a bit of both worlds. How does that sound?
It could involve an encounter with either my Scar or one of Congeriem's alts, then a visit to the Jedi Lords or Order later.

That could certainly work. There isn't much in his portion of the galaxy, though I think he is actually closer to the core on his home world then he is Tattooine. Trying to think of a reasonably realistic place he might end up based on where he is starting
Edit: Somewhere in the remote expanse between the core and Ilum

Atlas of JvS should help us out here. Fresia is a neutral world that we could use if we asked Mahal nicely. Otherwise, the rest are First Order worlds with a couple of Sith holdouts on Anobis and Iridonia.

It just uses the industry of Fresia (Incom Corporation's industry too) to make ships, starfighters, yachts, etc. I do know that Mahal would be... interested in shady business as long as there was a good cut for his company. I mean look at him. Typical Corpo right? |

Ah, see I would be quite opposed to shady business. If the company isn't good for the people, I might be more of a hindrance to business. But that could just as well be quite a bit of fun.

Well, Mahal is secretly a warmonger. That’s where is profits soar. However, it’s not something anyone would know and any of his dealing are done secretly and anonymously. Otherwise, he works to sell at a bit cheaper price, modifies and repairs those who request, even works with individuals who want to create custom one off ships. Makes ships and vehicles that aren’t necessarily warships but just defensible civilian ships as well.
Doesn’t deal heavy in the civilian world outside working to sell his products but I’m sure we can pull together something if it interests you.
That remains me that I may want to delve further into a story idea I had for Mahal involving any factions and players wanting in. Kind of following the first GI Joe movie in plot.

Welcome! I’m a little late and Nic (who does lead the First Order/Empire, yes) seems to have covered everything. I’m the newly elected Prime Minister of the Corellian Coalition, which is the only democratic faction still standing at the moment, I believe. I think my character Salvor would get on well with your Robin Hood type character. We’re closely allied with the Jedi as well who have a strong presence on our capital, Corellia. We don’t have too much going on at the moment (but I hope to change that in the new year) other than a tense diplomatic crisis on my characters homework’s Thyferra. You’d be very welcome in the Coalition, we need all the help we can get while the First Order terrorises half the galaxy’s people  I also have a Jedi who I haven’t been writing too much purely because I haven’t known what to do with him at the moment. He’s at the knight level too so couldn’t really train you but we could get something going at some point. Perhaps he could be off on a mission wherever your character ends up and he could then serve as your way into the Jedi if that’s the route you’re after? |

If Nicademus, or one of his subordinates would be willing, I think a little...liberating of a First Order pay stations inventory might make for some interesting things in the future.

As Salvor said, I do lead the First Order. So I wouldn't mind the interaction. Financial worlds are Ralltiir, Muunilinst, Brentaal IV, and Aargau. So perhaps... somewhere in the middle might work. That area where Adumar, Bilbringi, and Corulag are would work as a place where perhaps your character attempts to attack a financial convoy of sorts and take some goods to help progress into the galaxy. Something minor in terms of action for the First Order, but profitable for your character nonetheless. I could try to do it myself, but I will ask around my community and see if any others are interested. We got a few committed actions right now, but I bet I can find someone (if not me) to give you a good SL to profit on some credits |
