Kashk looked around at the city he was now in. He would need to find a way to provide for himself, whether it was legitimate work, or shadier dealings...

I had remained in power of Sullust for some time now, the Sith that were once here had been disposed of it seems. They have been silent ever since the end of the Civil War. Regardless the power of SoroSuub grew. As a business it was reestablished. And now I felt like it was time to move onto bigger and greater things. A fleet had begun construction over the planet, just a single Dauntless and four Liberators, accompanied by a few wings of Fury-class Fighters and a couple more BB-2 Starfire Fighter-Bombers. A simple fleet that is not too large to draw attention, but large enough to put up a good fight.
I break my stare out of the view-port of my CEO's Office. I have completed all that I needed to get the company back into the galaxy. Now I have time for a vacation. Regardless, what I wish to achieve is out there. Not the rebuilt metropolis that has expanded and prospered under my guidance and rule, but the galaxy. There are wars waging, just waiting for someone to shift the balance. I can use this to my advantage, and it is time I discovered what lays out there after my time of preparing. And as such I make my way back toward my desk. Sitting down I begin to write a long letter to all my executives.

Jonathan Mercer exits the meeting with the other executives and begins to walk through the halls of the SoroSuub Corporation Headquarters. Everyone knows who he is, but they don't really know who he is. It's a strange feeling being little more than an idea in someone's head. Their own perception of reality skewing their own beliefs and what is truly there. Though John thinks the reality of the world is a much darker and horrifying place than they could ever believe.
Mercer reaches his office and swipes his hand over the console. The sensors read his palm and the door bursts open, with a quick backward glance he steps inside his office. He waves his hand in a circular motion and the lights burst on, his eyes naturally scan the room, but he stops suddenly. A black figure fully robed and hooded stands like a silent sentinel to the left side of the desk.
"Well, I did not expect to find one such as you here. Who do you bear a message from or are you here to assassinate me?" The truth was, Jonathan had a very strong idea of who sent him, and he knew he would already have been attacked if he was to die. It was almost cute really how this was turning out.
"Diabolus sends his regards. The tides are turning, and Diabolus is the gravity that plans to shift them. As CEO of SoroSuub, you are about to become even wealthier, but more importantly you are about to be a key figure. Factions are forming and soon you are going to be forced to take a side. This is a warning so you are prepared, begin to reach out and increase your influence. This is the message."
Jonathan was about to question it or at least make some remark that was cocky, but the man walked straight past and when Mercer turned around he was gone. Force cloak or some other fancy trick no doubt, something Jonathan can respect the being for putting the effort in to learn and the self-control required to concentrate that hard. Regardless Jonathan merely walks over and sits behind his desk, His hands form a pyramid in front of him an d his blank face twists into a grin.

Tysabaar strolled into the city centre, his face hidden by his mask and hood. The citizens stared on as the sith walked past them. He smiled under his mask as he felt the cold breath of fear entre their bodies. He carried on walking until he reached a small gap between two buildings, then disappeard in the shadows.

The crises had been resolved. Order restored to its rightful rulers and population placated.
Very neat and tidy, except for one detail.
The impressive bulk of the Imperial II Star Destroyer hung oppressively overhead. Platoons of heavily armed Stormtroopers combed the streets. They were searching for none other than the errant Sith novice, Tysabaar. Various officers had created a cordon and were attempting to tighten it around the city.

This annoyance had been of little significance till now, as Tysabaar had seen his nemesis, the captain, as little more than an old tool of the empire that had lost its purpose. Now though, that he was once again trying to capture him,Tysabaar, he felt that an end had to be put to this old relic of the empire. Tysabaar went down in his knees, flexted his calves and with the slightest of effort force jumped ontop of the building he was previously under. From there he spotted one of the transporters that had brought the stormtroopers to Byllurun, and made his way towards it along the roof tops.

There he is! Blast him!
Platoon 112, as one man, crouched in the street below Tysabaar and hosed down the rooftops. People screamed and ran to get away from the Stormtrooper Marines who were indiscriminately firing as fast as their attack rifles could cycle.

"Finally some action,"Tysabaar thought to himself as he dodged the blaster fire. He acrobatically jumped down the building landing on the side opposite to the one that the stormtroopers were facing. With a burst of speed, Tysabaar made a run for the transporter about 500 metres ahead of him.

He's getting away! Get back-up!
The platoon leader growled in frustraition and urged his men up and forward. He wasn't about to let another captain get the glory. He saw the Sith and he was going to catch him, even if it was the last thing he did.
And he wasn't the only ambitious captain chasing Tysabaar. Down and ahead of the street, another squad was approached, presented and opened fire.

The Transpoter was only 300 metres away when the other squad of stormtroopers appeared infront of him. Sencing their next reaction, Tysabaar prepared himself for a fight.
Tyasabaar dived out of the way as the first shots were fired.A shot grazed his shoulder but did not stop his motion forwards. With a quick leap Tysabaar jumped against the wall of the closest building, then jumped back towards the stormtroopers now landing on their right hand side.
The stormtroopers, not facing Tysabaar where badly possitioned and not prepared to defend themselves.
With deadly precision Tysabaar decapitated the two nearest stormtroopers. Then unleashed a deadly storm of lightning onto the rest of the troops.

Aieeee!
The first two Stormtroopers didn't have a chance to even scream as they were cut down. But their comrades made up for their shortfall in spades. Lighting crackled and sizzled between the remaining 24 troopers, roasting them. The two demolishion troopers exploded as the lighting ignighted their charges, framing the carnage with a fiery backdrop.
Vazira took a stablising breath and leveled her sights on the source of the lighting. She could see the dark glove and the intense white glow that came from it. The rifle pulsed beneath her fingers, the razor bug wiggled within the barrel, itching to launch itself at the Sith and slash him down. The Yuuzhan Vong hunter couldn't wait longer. She stroked the nerve bundle and the rifle juiced spark honey into the chamber and blasted the razor bug at Tysabaar.
The other two Yuuzhan Vong warrior, the firebug and the noxious one awaited him down the road from the shuttle. He'd need to hurry - it wasn't just the warriors that would be a problem, but perhaps the AT-STs that were moving his way...

Although Tysabaar had been focusing on the destruction of the stormtroopers, he had notice that he had been watched. With lightning reflexes he swung his two lightsabers from his waist in front of his face, knowing what the sniper had aimed for with deadly accuracy.
On a previous occasion Tysabaar had been ignorant of the projectiles that the sniper had shot at him with but he had learned from his mistake. The razor bug was sliced in two. Quickly, knowing that he had to get to the transporter immediately, he turned around and swayed of into a side road, making his way to the transporter under the cover of the buildings.
Only 200 meters remained between him and his objective, yet the troop of stormtroopers behind him had made ground and where bearing down on him...

There was something intimate when it came to sniping someone. You get to see the range of human expression, as if you were almost face-to-face with a person. And then you got to kill them. Variza smiled. It had become a high-stakes game between her and the Sith. Would he see the shot in time? Duck to the left or right? She popped a blast bug into the barrel and rammed it into the chamber, knelt and took her aim.
Where was he?
Dammit.
Another platoon found the Sith but instead of taking up firing positions, they laid down suppressive fire and backpedaled away from the lighting-wielding monster. Smoke began to drift across the street. Someone had started a fire...

Smoke started to loom over the buildings as Tysabaar faced another obstacle. This time he came across more stormtroopers, who instead of directly attacking him, moved backwards while firing at him and in their doing so blocked his way to the transporter. Becoming impatient with these constant hindrances, Tysabaar decided to act.
Mustering up all the concentration he could conjure, Tysabaar drew on his knowledge and delved deep into the dark side. Remembering the teachings of his masters, he attempted siphon all the energy he could out of his connection with force.
Tysabaar could feel his body start to fail him, his inexperience and lack of discipline made what he had attempted impossible to carry out what would take years still to master.
With a final contraction in his muscles, Tysabaar released a blast of energy through his hands and arms. Uncontrollably it blasted from him towards the building to the right of the troops. The pure force of the blast swept half the troops of their feet.
Whether the storm troops were alive or dead, Tysabaar did not know. He was exhausted, and barely managed to get to his feet and stumble away from the seen. The blast had luckily been enough of a distraction for Tysabaar to be able to get past the remaining troops.
Fire now burst out of nearby buildings. It was only a few meters away from the transporter when Tysabaar finally reached it. Tiredly Tysabaar finished off the four guards guarding the craft. With a few last steps Tysabaar finally entered transporter and approached the two pilots seated within.

With a tremendous crash, the buildings on the right toppled over onto the street, crushing the remaining Stormtroopers beneath the rubble. Clouds of ash and dust obscured the field of battle. Three platoons converged on the field and met at the epicentre, rifles pointed at each other. The Sith had managed to evade them, again.
Variza's infrared sights swept through the haze, restlessly searching for the signature of Tysabaar. Where was that wry human that managed to brood, even when he was in combat?
Brigadier Lefebvre popped open the hatch of the rearmost AT-ST, which incidentally served as his mobile headquarters, and swept the scenery with his macrobinoculars. Judging by the last contact, Tysabaar had to hoof it through the outside lines of the cordon to make it to the spaceport. Either the Sith was dead, injured and incapacitated or soon to be captured within the next few minutes. He was sure. But still....
Hey, who are you?! You're not authorized to be here...
The co-pilot was not one to mince words. His hold-out SMG blaster, that had saved him plenty of times in tight confines of the cockpit, was out and pointing at the Sith. The Marines were on maneuvers and although he wasn't sure that the sooty figure was part of the exercise, he wasn't about to be taken with his pants down.

"Gentlemen, I am expected?"Tysabaar said completely ignoring the blaster in the co-pilots hand, while still trying to fully regain his composure after his strenuous activities that had just taken place. No? Well that is understandable since I did not think the kind captain would have told you about this arrangement."Mostly because he had not planed for it." No need to be alarmed my friends. I have an argent appointment with your commander, Captain Mardotte St Cyr. If you would be so kind as to take me to him. In any case, I do not plan on being burned to a crisp by that fire that is approaching the ship."
With that Tysabaar force closed the entrance hatch, and with one fluent movement disarmed the co-pilot with the force.
"Now now gentlemen jump to it. I don't want to do everything myself; just for further clarification, my presence on this transporter is to remain unknown until my arrival. If you announce me prior to our arrival, well lets just say your doing so would result in some unpleasant consequences."
With that the sith went to the back of the transporter, sat down in a seat and closed his eyes with a slight grin under his mask.

The pilots exchanged looks. True, the fire was getting pretty near. True, he might be an agent of the Captain. And that the co-pilot suddenly found himself without a weapon, or the hand that held the weapon, clinched the whole deal. It also looked like he had passed out from the shock and was not about be waking up any time soon. There was an unspoken question that hung over the surviving pilot:
What do you call a man who can disarm you with his mind?
Not Sith. Not a monster. Not even a murderer.
Sir.
Yes, sir!
The shuttle smoothly rose out of the expanding smoke cloud, tilted upwards and fired up its engines, streaking into orbit.

Governor's palace, Byllurun
Moff Judas Barragon was settling in well. It was nice to have the planetary governors office. The seat alone was a work of art. He wobbled his way over the chair and to his surprise, found it occupied by a hideously scarred, yet strangely alluring, multiple armed Yuuzhan Vong female, who held a short and stubby pistol. When he last checked, she wasn't what he'd ordered. His brain smoothly changed gears.
"Now, look, I'm sure there's been a misunderstanding. I'm sure that your commander didn't order this. There'll be hell to pay if something should happen...."
And something did happen.
A small bullet entered his skull and left it not soon thereafter. The velocity sent him staggering back and out through the massive window where he landed with a wet thump. Armed Sullustians scraped him off the floor and managed to hang him, with some difficulty from the wall of the governor's residence.
Lusenok nodded to the Sullustian who she past on her way out the office of the new ruler, Hien Un.
