I will papa, see you soon
Saying her good byes and placing her communicator back in her pocket, Ty exited the cafe, giving a playful glare at Gavin
You were not supposed to help him!
Ty smiled and punched his arm gently before leaning on him and looking around the town, already bored and seeming to have forgotten her fathers instructions
Where is said ship?

*Gavin shrugged.* "I could have just stayed quiet and let you two argue it out. Or, seeing that he knew who I was, tell him that I'd ensure you finish your mission to get him off your back. Sure, I'll make sure you get it done, in time. But as for the ship, this way."
*Gavin led her on back to the hangers and went to where his ship rested. He smiled as his silver YT-1930 came into view. It was always a welcome sight. It was freedom, in a sense. It gave him the ability to take off on his own and go wherever his hear led him. Being stuck to the confining world around him bothered him. There was always a need of at least a little freedom.* "I give you the Shadow Phoenix. Not much now, but I just got it not long ago after my first was destroyed in a crash. Haven't had the chance to modify it yet."

Ty smiled and put her hand on the hull and looked at him
Ah, so you are just like me! You like to crash ships too! Although the last one I crashed was not my fault.
She turned her body to face his and smiled wider
Drinking time! Let's Go!!

"Crashing them isn't my choice. I like flying, not crashing." *He chuckled as he led her aboard and to the cockpit. As they entered he removed his sword and set it down and removed his trenchcoat, tossing it to the side. Now he wore a leather vest, mostly grey with a high blue neck and outline in blue as well. His sabers also opened to a clear view. He started up the ship and raised the ramp. It wasn't long before everything checked out and the ship lift off the ground. He eased out of the port and headed out into the open terrain.

Girdo quietly untensed as the other being moved away, becoming interested in a Force-neutral that had entered the Cantina. Ah, good, I'll be left alone again. Girdo continued to review his datapad, half eavesdropping, half focused on his task. His eyes widened as he heard the name Lord Vastrol. Vastrol?? I remember him... he had grand plans... plans that conflicted with mine... and... this is his daughter?? I might be able to use this.. but the neutral could be a threat...
As the two began to leave, Girdo silently stood up, and began to follow, staying just out of the range of detection by the Force. Girdo followed up to the hangar, then split away and traveled immediately to his Interceptor. Payback is coming... Girdo grinned, piloted out of the starport, and headed off after the YT...

The lone ship lands on the outskirts of town hoping to avoid any trouble with potentially hostile natives. It's been awhile since he has last step foot on the sands of Tatooine. The last time would have to be during the war when he was assigned to monitor Hutt activities to be sure they didn't have any affairs with the CIS. But those operations were secret and that was years ago, long before he deserted after the republic fell and the Empire arouse to take it's place. As he walks through the city he realizes in all the time away basically nothing changed, things never changed here. He continues to think to himself as he walks down the sandy roads and routes to find some sort of cantina to rest in for awhile and get a quick drink and to cure his hungry stomach.

Kaine's black bes'uliik soared down into the dry, parched atmosphere of Tatooine, and rocketed across the small city of Mos Espa, dodging between a pair of freighters lifting off from the spaceport. Kaine grinned as he imagined the pilots' curses at the kriffing crazy barve. He found a clear spot near the outskirts, and smoothy transitioned the sleek fighter in for a landing, bringing it down as gently as if onto glass. He popped the canopy, released his restraints, and dropped over the side to the dirt below. A moment later, a dull thump announced the arrival of his companion, the brown robed female Kiffar Guardian.
Looks warm. Kaine announced from the comfort of his beskar'gam, noting the outside temperature approaching the boiling point. His companion favoured him with a disapproving frown. Kaine remotely closed and secured the fighter, and Amauri shot him a wicked smile.
Comfort, coolness? A Guardian craves not these things. Lead on, General Electric.
Kaine hesitated a moment, before deciding this heat warranted a nice cool refreshing beverage, and headed toward the nearest Cantina...

The formation that had flown from the orbiting Crusader-class Corvette rocketed over Mos Espa in an arrow-head formation with the gunship leading the way and two Bes'uliik starfighters upon its flanks. From the cockpit of his starfighter, Hokar gave the commands and gained the necessary clearance as they founded their designated landing area. A crew awaited them as the gunship and starfighters landed, ready to load the cargo upon a small hover transport. The four Mandalorians and Devaronian soldier, led by their captain, oversaw the transportation and ensured that nothing went wrong.
From the landing area, the borrowed crew, overwatched by their armed escort transported the claws through the streets of Mos Espa for nearby shops and clients that would be interested. One of the crewmen, a Rodian, almost caused the cargo to run into some crates which would have scuffed the genuine and prized claws, devaluing their worth. The Rodian made some alarming noises as two blasters were pointed at it's face. The helmet and figure of Hokar walked between the two armed Mandalorians. His own blaster rifle in hand, but resting upon his shoulder. Through his T-shaped visor, he spoke with a stern voice as his gloved hand reached and grabbed the Rodian's throat.
You scratch the merchanise, Rodian, and I will sell your hide instead, even if its worth a few creds. Got it?
The Rodian quickly nodded a few times before moving back into place and getting back to work moving the cargo. Hokar scoffed quietly at the motley crew granted to help them move their prized trophies to their desired audience. He wanted to make a full payment today, not a shoddy discount. His own warriors barked at the crew to move along and continued their escort duties with Hokar trailing behind them.

Titan continues his stroll through Mos Espa keeping a eye out for anything unusual or anything that may cause trouble. After much searching he found a nice small cantina with a little meaon sign advertising the specials. He stared at the sign as the smell of well done nerf comes from the entrance. His stomach growled at him demanding immediate attention. It's been awhile since he actually sat down and relaxed after searching the galaxy far and wide for employment the past couple months. He decided to step in to check it out and to his surprise the cantina was actually pretty nice (for a cantina that is) and he went and took a seat at a front booth near the bar tender. After sitting down on the cushioned stool he motioned to get the attention of the bartender. The man who was cleaning glasses saw the Black armor wearing Mandalorian and knew not to leave him waiting. "Ah yes hello, I'm just swinging by Mos Espa and saw your little pub from the street so I decided to drop in for a drink. I'll just take a regular drink, nothing real fancy for now."The bar tender smirks and stretches out his arm receiving gesture. Titan sighed and reached into his almost empty pockets again and pulled out the right amount of credits required. The man nodded and went to retrieve said drink. Soon enough the man returned with a nice glass of alcohol for the Mandalorian. Titan nodded in thanks as he held the drink in his hand.

The motley crew and the armed guards walked for some time before they parked outside a cantina, not far from Mos Espa's spaceport. Hokaar gestures to his crew, indicating for them to watch the merchandise and the others while he headed inside to find some sellers. The Mandalorian promises them good drinks as long as they kept their eyes on the prize. Beneath their helmets and upon the face of Devaronian were grins at their captain's promise of good booze. Hokaar then heads inside, catching the usual tones and voices of a Tatooine cantina; it had been a few years since the last he set foot in a dusty establishment like this.
Hokaar looks around, noticing all sorts of species, though his sight took note of other Mandalorians within the cantina. More than usual it seemed. He calmly set his blaster rifle upon his back as Hokaar approached the bartender. Slowly the Mandalorian removed his helmet and set it upon the counter, revealing the deep scar upon his chin and Mandalorian features of a Dxun-born hunter. There were a few more scars on his temple, neck and cheeks; all from various preys that the Dxun warrior had hunted.
Hokaar gestures to the bartender, who was a Twi'lek, as he walks away from another Mandalorian. He pulls out some credits and sets them on the table, getting a glass of Tihaar, the traditional drink of any Mandalorian. As the bartender turns to walk away, Hokaar grabs the male's arm and reveals some more credits, slipping them across the table. This caught the Twi'lek's attention immediately for Hokaar to speak to him.
Know anyone interested in some prized and genuine animal trophies?
The male Twi'lek grins for a moment before nodding to a group in the corner who consisted of Toydarians. The Twi'lek then looks back at Hokaar.
I have seen this group...maybe several times. These Toydarians seems to have a schedule of coming to this location at certain times of the planet's cycle. Word among my associates is that they like coming to Tatooine for exquisite merchandise. I would see if they are interested in your...cargo.
The Mandalorian slips a few more credits then tapped the butt of his rifle. The Twi'lek nodded quietly and got the message; a payment and threat to keep his tongue quiet and not to speak a word to anyone else. The alien turned away to help another customer as Hokaar went back to a casual customer and sipped his Tihaar.

The twin suns beat down on the town of Mos Espa. The heat was stifling outside. Those beings with urgent business outside kept to the limited shade to the side of the narrow streets. Everyone else was indoors, as was only sensible in this weather. Kaine, in his green and black beskar'gam was cooled appreciably by his air recycling system. His companion, in her Guardian robes, was far less comfortable. She wasn't interested in any seedy Cantinas, however, and she took her leave of Kaine beyond the threshold of the drinking establishment. The big Mando would go in alone.
Kaine ducked slightly to get through the low entrance, and walked into the cantina, getting his share of looks from some of the patrons. Mandalorians are always worthy of noting, he thought to himself, scanning the pub's main room himself, and seeing several buckets. So there were still vode on Tatooine. Interesting, he mused. But that could wait. Drink first. Kaine made his way through the crowd, a few patrons made way, sensibly, for him, saving him the trouble of elbowing them aside, and found his spot at the bar. He reached up and unsealed his buy'ce, and lowered it, placing it on the bar. A grizzled man behind it put down a glass and came over.
Another Mando. What'll it be?
Kaine raised an eyebrow. You get a lot of Mando'ade in here?
Yeah, we see you people from time to time. Do me a favour and keep your business outside. Cleaning bills ain't cheap.
Kaine produced a hundred credit chit and slapped it on the bar. Tihaar, if you've got it. Corellian whiskey if you don't. And keep the change, in case my business comes inside. The bartender gave him a dirty look, but pocketed the chit and went to find some whiskey. He returned with a bottle of decent vintage, not pre-war, but still good, especially for this backwater. Kaine nodded. Then he put another hundred credit chit on the bar. You can leave the bottle. Do me a favour and point out any associates of the local Hutt bigwig, would ya?
This time the bartender's dirty look was more pronounced. You joking? Half the clientele here work for the Hutts. This is Tatooine.
Kaine chuckled. I guess times change. Thanks anyway. He turned for another look around the bar, and sipped his whiskey. It wasn't half bad, and the heat was only moderately unpleasant in here.

Once his Tihaar was finished, Hokaar moved from the bar towards the group of Toydarians that lingered off to the side. He calmly approached them, helmet tucked under his armpit as the Mandalorian approached the fat and flying aliens. One of them noticed him, flapping his wings and intercepting him before he got to the table. Such a confrontation between a Mandalorian and a rich Toydarian could hardly go unnoticed, especially by the other Mandalorians present.
Ehhh...what do ya think ya doing here? You aren't one of our clients.
Hokaar pulled out a small datachip and handed it to the Toydarian. A grin appeared upon his face.
I can easily become one of your clients if you are interested in exquisite merchandise as I have heard.
The Toydarian looks suspiciously at the datachip for a moment before taking it and bringing it to his associates. One of them pulled out a datapad and shoved the chip into a slot. While they did this, Hokaar took an empty seat and joined the table, waiting for a response. As the datapad brought up the information, a small commotion rose from the Toydarians. After a moment all of them look at Hokaar. The one who spoke earlier shuffled his chair over to speak.
Genuine claws of a large, female Acklay, from Felucia? How do we know this ain't some scam, Mandalorian?
Hokaar turns his eyes to the datapad in the ones of the aliens.
Why don't you look at the recordings and files attached to the merchandise information. Also, I would suggest you take this offer seriously, Toydarian. I can easily find a more willing customer who would happily pay triple and deprive of you and your little group of something very rare and valuable.
The Toydarian moves back to his associates as they watch the various clips attached; one showed the detainment of the Acklay, another showed the dismemberment, another vid showed the grateful conclusion of business with the locals and finally information on the job that Hokaar and his crew were hired to do. The Toydarians hold a small conference, speaking to one another before they all looked at Hokaar.
We wish to see these claws you have, Mandalorian.
Hokaar then stands up, placing his helmet back upon his head. With that done, he turns and walks towards the entrance of the cantina. The Toydarians then fly after Mandalorian as they head outside to see the merchandise. Wherever Hokaar was leading them, it had to be somewhere important or involved something of value.

The whiskey was good, and Kaine felt himself almost start to relax. That was a mistake, especially in a seedy cantina on a dustball of a world like Tatooine. He mentally reprimanded himself for allowing his mind to wander off track, and had just resolved to finish his drink quickly and get on with his mission when trouble found him.
They came in quickly, six in all. Obviously muscle for the local crimeboss, Kaine didn't know who, two Rodians, a Weequay, a Nikto, and a Gammorean. Thugs. The sixth member of the group got most of his attention. A hulking Yaka, identifiable by the cybernetic implants in its cranium, standing at an even two meters tall, evidently the group's leader. The cantina's patrons suddenly began to recall urgent business elsewhere, and the new arrivals had a clear path to the Mandalorian sat at the bar. Their eyes locked on Kaine as he put down his drink and let his hands drop to his lap, as he sat facing them. The Yaka growled a warning.
No sudden moves, Mandalorian. Kaine wondered who these intruders worked for, and also what interest they had in him. The bartender, he thought, must have tipped the locals off that a mando was asking questions. Hut'uun, he thought, and squared that thought away for later. The barve could wait. He'd deal with these first. Now to find out if they were here to shake him down, or kill him.
Kaine made himself appear to relax, letting his hands open, palms out.
What's going on? You guys buying or selling?
The Yaka snorted. Neither. You been asking questions. Now we got some for you. Who are you and what do you want with the Hutts?
Who's asking? Kaine was playing for time, hoping for a momentary distraction that would let him buy some time to get his buy'ce. He could take them without it, of course, but he liked to improve the odds where he could.
The six thugs spread out at a gesture from the Yaka, who advanced on Kaine, halting just over a meter away, just out of easy strike range, so that he and his associates formed a semicircle around the seated Mando general.
Last chance, buckethead. Name and business, or we scrape whats left of you off the floor and feed it to the Sarlacc.
Kaine took advantage of their close proximity to slowly move his left hand, the one the Yaka couldn't see, to a belt pouch, fishing an item out and palming it.
You had to go there. Kaine primed and dropped the flashbang at his feet, then shut his eyes and braced himself for the detonation. Several of the thugs looked down at the grenade as it dropped, which wasn't to their benefit as the grenade detonated, and the blinding flash dazzled them, while the deafening bang startled all of them.
Kaine was already securing his buy'ce and raising his right pistol by the time the first of them, the Yaka, reacted, bringing his blaster up in time to put a bolt into Kaine's breastplate at the same time as Kaine's first shot blew a hole clean through his neck, taking his head off and spraying the wall beyond with gore.
Already the odds in the fight had tipped far towards Kaine. He'd taken out the biggest threat, and was already moving to deal with the rest. Because the fight had started six on one, he was merciless. If they'd wanted a fair fight, they'd had an opportunity to say so. Now it was time for them to pay for their misjudgement, and for Kaine to send a message to the Hutts about what happened when you messed with Mando'ade.
Kaine turned from dispatching the Yaka in time to be taken off his feet by the Gammorean's charge. The hot breath and tusks of the porcine humanoid filled his forward view as he went over backwards. Luckily, his left arm remained free, and as he went back, attacker on top of him, Kaine's left gauntlet sprayed a stream of extremely caustic acid into the side of the thug's head, quickly melting a large hole through its skull and into its brain. The body was twitching as Kaine hit the floor underneath it, and rolled out from underneath.
He came up as blasterfire rang out inside the cantina, wild shots from the pair of Rodians spraying in all directions. A couple of bolts caught Kaine, more hit the ceiling and walls, and some hit patrons who had been stupid enough not to get out immediately, judging from the screams. Kaine returned fire, taking one of the blinded Rodians in the chest and sending him flying backward with a hole in him big enough to pass an arm through. The other Rodian caught a round in the face, and his head disappeared, flying apart in a shower of blood, bone and brains.
A shot from the Weequay caught him in the gauntlet, and knocked the pistol from his grasp. Not to be thwarted, Kaine let go a blast from his flamethrower, and torched the hapless thug, setting his entire torso abaze from the waist up. Squealing in agony, the alien crumpled to the floor and lay there, writhing. The Nikto, the only thug remaining, dropped his blaster and his vibroblade, and unceremoniously ran for the exit. Kaine let him go. He retrieved his pistol, and returned it to its holster, then turned to look for the bartender, who had sensibly disappeared.
In a short span of what had taken less than a minute, the cantina was a scene of devastation. Tables were overturned, the walls were spattered with gore, and smoke and the smell of burnt and scorched meat and hair filled the air. Only a couple of patrons remained inside, either nursing blaster wounds or tending to injured comrades. Kaine took all this in, and decided there was no sense hanging around.
With a quick check of the exits, to ensure there were no enemy reinforcements close at hand, Kaine made his way to the door and exited the Cantina into the blazing hot daylight of Tatooine. Tatooine. Hot, dry and generally unpleasant. Kaine resolved that he'd find a way to make this trip worth all the hassle. Somehow.

Hokaar stepped outside of the cantina, walking over to where his crew of six was, overshadowing the motley rabble of four given to them to haul their prized Acklay claws around. The Mandalorians stepped aside for the Toydarians to fly for a closer inspection. The Devaronian, closest to the claws, ensured the Toydarians were given every bit of detail and intel upon the merchandise. It was the reason why Hokaar hired this particular one; son of a wealthy merchant family, experience in both weaponry and coin. It was always best to ensure his crew had flexibility. After a few moments, the lead Toydarian swooped over to Hokaar.
Merchandise good, ya? Condition excellent, no scuffs or tarnishing. We'd be interested as long as the price is good, Mandalorian.
The price, my fine Toydarian, is 150,000 credits for the pair.
The Toydarian was taken aback by the steep price. His eyes glanced at the claws while his confederates murmured among one another at the offer. Before the Toydarian could speak, Hokaar turned to another Mandalorian who removed his helmet to reveal a massive scar that had taken out his left eye. Hokaar points at his crew member.
You see that? Got that from the ambush we performed on this creature. Lost two Mandalorians and a Devaronian to this beast. And before that, it had destroyed two villages of Ithorians and plagued on a village of Gossams. I risked a lot to fight what the locals called the Mother Acklay.
Hokaar shifts his rifle right down into his open palm and gestured the muzzle right at the Acklay claws to make a point.
We got lucky getting this haul so that way you and your colleagues could boast to your friends. Now the price is 150,000 credits. Take it or leave it.
The Toydarian seemed relatively convinced by Hokaar's speech. The Mandalorian who had taken his helmet off would put it back on after a few seconds and turn back to his duties of watching. The leader flew over to his colleagues to discuss the price of the Acklay claws. While they did this however, something caught Hokaar's eyes.
From one of the main roads, four Bantha-II cargo skiffs came tearing down the way. Yet they weren't carrying cargo... they carried armed men, and by their motley look, they were thugs of the Hutt Cartel most likely. Hokaar nodded one of the Mandalorians nearby who passed the command down to another; using their nonverbal ways of communication, the entire squad of six were notified. They began to shift closer to the claws, Hokaar and Toydarians, keeping a casual eye out for nearby cover. When it came to Hutts, anything could happen and it was best to be prepared. Two skiffs kept going, but two stopped at the cantina they were present at. One skiff's crew of six exited the craft and headed inside. Hokaar's glance noticed that the second crew who had disembarked was keeping an obvious eye upon his group.
The Mandalorian turned to the Toydarians who were delaying in their purchase and gave them a stern reminder.
Buy the cargo now or get lost. Your choice, Toydarians.
They turned to their leader who seemed hesitant at first. Then the bang went off in the Cantina, followed by blaster fire. The Toydarians jumped and the leader looked at the Cantina as shouts and shots were heard. He quickly fished for something on his person. A few cards were thrown it at Hokaar. Each holding 50,000 credits each.
Sold!
The Toydarians flew away with the cargo in tow as the shouts and screams only increased. Hokaar kept his blaster at the ready as he looked at the entry way of the Cantina. That's when he saw a Mandalorian sprint out of the door. His eyes darted instantly at the sound of one of the skiff's mounted laser cannons turning, obviously following Kaine's person. Hokaar thought quickly and got right into action. He turns to his crew, tapping his gaunlet's jetpack control.
Sky Hammer! Shield!
The six present nodded their heads. Hokaar and two others leapt into the air on their jetpacks and unleashed blaster rifle fire upon the Hutt thug manning the mounted blaster. The Devaronian, leading the other three Mandalorians, sprinted to mirror Kaine's movement, firing shots at the second crew as they moved to strike at Kaine.
Hokaar landed on the empty skiff and watched as one of his Mandalorians kicked the skiff's controls into action. They needed to ensure these thugs couldn't follow them. That's why, as the skiff's controls were kicked into action, the one manned by Hokaar and the other two Mandos aimed the hovercraft straight for the second one close by. The trio flew off as the skiff roared to life. The hovercraft flew straight forward and went crashing towards the second Bantha-II parked nearby. The second Hutt crew dove for cover as the skiff pair impacted and exploded on the streets of Mos Espa.
Hokaar and the other two landed near the other four as they sprinted with Kaine, still aware of the imminent danger that could be right around the corner. Hokaar turns his gaze to the Mandalorian; his mind elsewhere as the Dxun-born suspected the third skiff could be nearby while the fourth could be anywhere. In the mean time, his own crew of six exchanged shots with the remaining Hutt thugs as they ran with Kaine and Hokaar.

Nice to find friends close at hand, thought Kaine as he ran alongside the Mando'ade who had come to his assistance with the Hutt's heavies. At first glance these guys seemed to be just as they appeared, vode conducting their own business coming to the aid of a comrade. Kaine was, however, a suspicious fellow, so he kept his guard up, just in case.
Kaine turned as he ran, and triggered a pair of minirockets from his wrist launcher, striking the third Hutt skiff that had returned and was decelerating to act as a firing platform for its crew. The rockets hit the cockpit, which belched smoke, and the nose of the craft drooped as it headed into a building, out of control. Kaine didn't stop to watch it hit, he kept running.
Hutts don't like competition. That was a slight evasion. He wasn't going to tell this stranger his business right away, at least not until he had a name and a bit of a get-to-know-you to go with the fancy beskar'gam the Mando sported.
As they rounded a corner, Kaine turned and drew both his pistols, facing back the way they had come. After only a couple of moments, footfalls sounded as the Hutt's thugs pursued the Mandos through the streets of Mos Espa. The first two to round the corner ate a hypervelocity slug each as each of Kaine's trusty pistols boomed. The massive impacts sprayed the thugs' insides against the far wall of the nearest building, and tossed their already dead corpses aside with plenty of leftover force.
Let's discourage any more pursuit, shall we? He asked Hokaar

A good plan. A better one would be getting off this dust ball fast.
Hokaar drew his rifle, pointing in the direction of Kaine. Yet the muzzle wasn't pointed at the Mandalorian as the shot fired off and flew past Kaine, slamming into a Hutt thug that attempted to flank their position. The Mandalorian paused at an intersection before gesturing for the others to follow him down the left path. Hokaar keys his gauntlet for a moment, firing off a rocket at the intersection that was meant to deter any pursuit for any precious seconds they could gain.
We need a quick extraction out of this heat. I bet those thugs are barking all over the comm systems to get reinforcements and I would rather not feel the weight of a full Cartel unit upon our position. I like my head and so do the ladies, so I bet you, like me, don't want our heads up for bounties across half the galaxy.
Two of his crew members paused and turned, blasting at several thugs that came out of an alleyway. They barely had a chance to draw their own weapons as they were mowed down by Dxun-born warriors. The crew ran for a little longer, managing to lose the Hutt thugs for awhile or at least scare off any nearby chasers. Yet Hokaar knew the Hutts would delay too long so they needed to plan fast. While his crew kept lookout, the Mandalorian looks at Kaine.
You got any ideas? The only one I got is make a beeline for my ships parked just a couple blocks away. Make for the skies, drop you off where your ship is and then get off this blasted planet before the Hutts start getting smart. We all know that when the Cartel gets smart, they mean business. At least that's a slow process and not a quick one.

Kaine listened intently to the other Mando'ad. The plan made sense, and didn't seem too suspicious, but he had a companion to find, and he didn't like the idea of leaving his bessie behind. This being Tatooine, an abandoned starfighter would bring Jawas. And he didn't want Jawas. It would be just like the little buggers to dismantle the thing and sell off the parts as junk, just to keep in practice.
Kaine turned and was about to reply to Hokaar that he had his own transport when a loud whine streaked overhead, and several loud blasts rang out, as a sleek black starfighter shot overhead, having strafed the remaining Hutt forces. It leaned over in the air and reversed direction, sliding around for a second pass, scattering the Hutt thugs that weren't obliterated by its laser cannons. Kaine saw Amauri Vos wave at him from the cockpit as she flew on overhead, hovering a couple of blocks away, then lowering the fighter to the dusty ground. Kaine nodded in the direction the fighter had gone.
Got my own ride, ner vod, but thanks for the assist. You're right that we need to get out of here though. He offered his hand for the other Mando to shake, now that they were out of immediate danger/
He decided to risk telling this vod his true name. He wasn't going to start a working relationship with anyone by lying to their face right at the start. That being said, he was still apprehensive at the sort of reaction his name would garner. A lot of vode had heard of him, but not all the rumors that circulated were good, or true. Sometimes, anonymity had its uses, but he'd had enough of that. It was time to step into the light and return to Mando society. Word would get around fast, he knew. Mentally steeling himself for what would follow in the coming months, he got on with it.
I'm Kaine Australis. He paused to let that sink in, then went on.
Meet me on Manda'yaim, in Oyu'baat, next time you're free. You and your boys are pretty handy with your hardware. I can always find useful work for skilled vode. More challenging prey, too. He added the last on a hunch. He'd seen the Toydarians fleeing with merchandise they'd presumably purchased from these Mando'ade. Had to be hunting trophies or some other exotic, and if they were buying from Mandos, that probably meant dangerous prey.
Kaine looked around briefly, and flicked a nod to some of Hokaar's associates, an unspoken thanks.
Let's hunt again, some time soon.
It was time to leave Tatooine behind and return to the center of the Mandalorian galaxy.
For his own reasons, for his aliit, and for his people. It was time for General Kaine Australis to go home.

Hokaar looks at Kaine as he speaks. It was sensible to get out of heat with the Cartel as soon as possible; else the Hutts will have their heads adorning the halls of their palaces. And the Mandalorian did not want his pretty face to be put up for display. Some shouts were heard behind them, causing Hokaar's crew to draw their blasters, pointing in the direction of the shouts. With what precious seconds remained, he grabbed Kaine's hand firmly and shook it.
Name's Hokaar of Clan Shukalan, Dxun-born. I know of your name and reputation, Kaine of Clan Australis. May fortune let us meet again on Manda'yaim.
His helmet then turned to his crew with him as the members kept their eyes and blasters trained on the direction of the shouts.
We are always looking for work. And no matter what the prey, we still find a way to come out on top.
Hokaar then drew away and waved for his men to follow him. The Mandalorians and Drevarion nodded and ran off down the right alleyway. Hokaar paused, making sure his crew all were headed in the right direction. His T-visor then turned to Kaine one last time, giving the Mandalorian a quick salute before following the others.
=======================
Blasting their way through small pockets of Hutt thugs, Hokaar and his brothers managed to make it to their landing area. He immediately ordered quick start procedures, no need for the usual protocol. A group of shouts were heard, causing the Mandalorian to turn and blast two thugs that tried to approach his starfighter. Two of his crew traded shots with approaching thugs before dusting off. Hokaar then keyed for his ship in orbit to prepare a jump for the safety of Mandalorian Space as the transport and two starfighters blasted off for orbit; their paint scuffed by a few stray shots.

Upon leaving Hokaar, Kaine ignored the approaching Hutt scum and quickly jogged the couple of blocks to where Amauri Vos had lowered his fighter to the ground and popped the canopy. In under a minute, they were in the air and streaking towards space. Kaine looked over his shoulder at the Kiffar.
Thanks for the pickup. We'll have to come back later for the cargo.
There was more than a hint of amusement in Amauri's reply. No need, General. While you were playing around, I found what you were looking for in the second location on your list. The cargo is being loaded and will be conveyed to the rendezvous location outside the Bonadan system.
She had the distinct pleasure of enjoying Kaine's several seconds of utter disbelief, before he recovered himself enough to speak. That's... some good work. I'll have to add slicing to the list of your skills.
Amauri gave him a quick laugh. There isn't much I can't do, General.
The fighter sped away from Tatooine, and headed into space. Only an hour behind it, a GR-75 transport lifted from Mos Espa and angled away on a different exit vector, bearing the General's cargo.

As the Rambler settles into its berth in the dustbowl of Mos Espa, its engines throw up a cloud of grit and debris. On board its owner moves through the ship to the starboard cargo hold and its freight elevator. Removing the cargo straps securing his swoop, Boaz activates the repulsors of the small craft, easing into position before engaging the lift. Boaz takes a moment to feel the dry dusty air against his face, it had been some time since he was on Tatooine, and even its arid climate was a change of pace from the stale recycled atmosphere of his ship. Taking a moment to secure the ship after easing the Flare-S swoop away from the lift, Boaz mounts the bike and sets off through Mos Espa to find a decent watering hole. While the Flare-S is capable of good speed, the spacer travels leisurely taking in the surroundings while chewing on an unlit cigarra. Finally spotting a local nameless tavern,he parks his vehicle and steps into the shade within. Leaning against the wall close to the entrance, Boaz allows his eyes a moment to adjust to the dim lighting, and himself a moment to get his bearings.
