So the person at the top was a she? Not unheard of, but still strange.
=Nartaga= "I cannot help but feel like there is more to this woman that is at the top of this organization than you are aware of. I have learned to trust my gut. But, she did allow one of Tatooine's children to come back to us, so I can at least give her the benefit of my gut's doubt. Hopefulyl I can sit with her and we can talk of the future of the Banshees and the R'Crurak."
Nartaga cleared his throat and crossed his legs. This was something he had been putting off since he had met Six. He put his hands on his knees and spoke in a low voice, as if there was someone listening.
=Nartaga= "On a completely unrelated topic...How long have you known you were gifted by Tatooine?"

-Six- "You might be able. When she is done with whatever she is doing now."
Six set up her sleeping cot, and put out a small sensors device that alerts her if something moves in the vicinity. SHe was getting ready for bed.
-Six- "My shaman had an idea, he was going to take me to the next shaman moot. It really came out when the masters removed the blindfold. I... I was so scarred and angry, I just wished to destroy them. I thought my clan was dead, I thought they had killed everyone but me. I failed to destroy them, and I was sick for weeks afterwards. Too much Force, they told me. I wasnt used to wield so much. HAH! I ripped a steel door from a concrete wall.
They told me that there would be a time for learning, but it would go slowly, and not where I was. It will come. I still have a lot more to learn.
How did you?"

Nartaga motioned for Six to stop fixing her cot and stood up, heading to his Bantha and pulling a leather wrapped item from it. He untied the knot around the wrapping and let the metal tent poles and weighted stakes flop onto the sand. He began setting up the tent he had packed for their travels.
=Nartaga= "It is not a good thing to be out in the blowing sand at night. I packed this for a reason. Even our robes are little match for the full force of Tatooine's nights without a little extra protection."
Nartaga spoke about his own childhood as he continued to set up the tent.
=Nartaga= "When I was in training for the R'Crurak Sentries, the Elder discovered my gift and took me under his wing, so to speak. I was the first student he had taken since he had trained Agrus Hr'Rish'Kar'R'Crurak. One of our ancient Elder Shamans. Hundreds of years ago. This is all from legend and hearsay, but I believe it to be true. He said he saw something in me..."
Nartaga seemed to zone out for a moment, looking out into the distance. For a moment he thought he saw someone, with a walking stick and glowing eyes on a Dune far off, but as soon as he blinked the figure was gone. He shook his head to get his thoughts back on track.
=Nartaga= "I would like to think what he saw was the future I could help build for the Tusken as a people, but he was always secretive about his motives. I still am unsure what he wanted with..."
Nartaga paused. He had almost said crystals. He was getting too comfortable. There were some secrets that he could not share with anyone, especially Six. He coughed and cleared his throat.
=Nartaga= ".....with me. I suppose one does not live for thousands of years without having secrets."

Six was looking into the distant stars herself listening to Nartaga. She herself spoke as if she had a lot of experience, because just this past year she had experienced more then what most tusken do in a lifetime. Nartaga was not most tusken though. She felt so special and elovated when she was showing the E-11 to the tusken, and many looked up to her. She realised she maybe became preachy about her experiences to someone who is a lot older and well traveled then her.
Through this day she didnt just gain trust for the old tusken, but also respect. Maybe even a new father figure. Hell, not many of those laying around in a matriarchal paramilitary unit.
-Six- "But not without sleep. Tomorrow, we will kill a Worrt. Lets settle for the night."

While Six moved her cot into the tent, Nartaga traced a symbol in the sand outside the tent. It was not easy to make out in the waning light, even with the light from the nearby fire. He then traced a small circle surrounding the symbol, and then sat down upon it, his legs crossed and his palms face up.=Nartaga= "Sleep well, Six."Nartaga fell silent as he entered a meditative trance. The energy began to trickle from him in slow steady waves before building up as he found peace, and began cascading out just as it had when Six had stayed at his hut.

She was hanging upside down. Again. Wrapped in Banshee cloth, like a chrysalis. Again. The steel door was on its hinges, the concrete wall held it. Again. Her first day. Again. She didnt want it, she had allready conquered this! She had allready gotten her mobility back, her vice her eyes her ears! SHE WAS WORTHY! SHE WAS STRONG! SHE WILL GET OUT AGAIN! The door flew off its hinges, and she got free, the bondings werent even there suddenly. She fell to the floor, and got up. There she realised that it was a dream, and she should still be in the tent, sleeping. One does not just like that get free from Atias bonds.
It was something she called a Nartaga-dream. She wanted to see where she was, why she had this dream. She got out of the room and down into a corridor wich went to the horison in every direction with hundreds of crossing corridors on each side. It looked like The Crucible back on Juvex, the labyringht of misery. She started running, trying to find something that would show her the way out. The first couple of intersections didnt difer from the one she was in herself, but the sixth was different. To her left was a door, the same steel door she had ripped from the hinges a year ago. She walked up, and looked through the small window.
There was a lizard like creature with scaly skin covered in shiny mucus. It had flappy ugly tits and two snakes grown from its head. Huge fangs and snake tounge. Her belly was even larger, bulging with things moving inside. Feet pushing the belly, contuers of a fave and an other. The monster sat on its knees, and was puking up more mucus. It whined and choughed, and more mucus came up when suddenly, its chest rose, and it started to choke. Something large went up from its stomack, through the throat. The yellow creature was turning blue in the face, couldnt even scream anymore its throat was bulging as something with arms and legs was trying to crawl its way up. Six thought it would die right there when she saw the jaw extend like that of a snake, and a tiny clawed bloody hand grabbing the underlips from the inside, pulling itself out.
It was a little baby version of the yellow snake-twilek monstrosity, a thin screaming beast. Finally, the mother coughed up the entire creature and its disgustingly slmelling Placenta. The mother creature was in huge ammounts of pain and was screaming as the next creature started to crawl up her throat, and the screaming started again, then the choking and the twisted birth of a deamon. No. This time not one. They poured out of the mothers mouth like a swarm, flying without wings. Screaming and screaming. The voices, all of them the Banshee Screams. The ones before battle. And suddenly they all looked at her.
She realised then that she herself was screaming. When she woke up suddenly.

Tatooine was burning. It was always burning. He saw this every time he closed his eyes. This dream was a constant torture he endured every time he shut his eyes. The same memory, the same vision, and the same end. The Rakatan ships in Orbit never stopped, and never would. It was as if this moment was locked forever in his mind, burned into his mind just as Tatooine had been burned by the Rakatan weapons. The final preparations were under way. They were always so close to completion, yet always the plan failed. A Great Machine was the center of the room he was standing in. Nartaga looked at his hands. They were not his, but they were. He was bare skinned, except for a tunic and pants. A line was in front of him, slowly moving into the center of the room, beneath the Great Machine. Screams could be heard, and the line kept moving until it was finally his turn. He looked around, not knowing what was going on. He said something in the ancient tongue of his ancestors, not even knowing what he said.
Nartaga fought against everything he had ever experienced in this dream before. He turned around and ran. Ran as fast as he could away from the Machine, from the screams, from the pain, from the torment. Figures appeared in front of him, their forms smokey, their movements jerky, as if possessed. He yelled something at them, and with a quick jerk of his hand they were set ablaze. They remained still, their eyes glowing a bright white as their bodies were surrounded by orange and red flames. He pushed his hands out, and they were thrown away from their positions, he did not see where they landed, it did not matter.
He could almost see the light of the fire that was consuming Tatooine in the distance. The last city had fell minutes ago. He had a family, they were lost. When he could almost feel the heat on his bare skin, the dark figures reappeared in front of him. He spoke again in the tongue of his ancestors, dismissing them with what felt like a curse. Two more appeared beside him, their smokey arms grabbing him by his sides. He instinctively jerked away, but they were two strong. He struggled, and struggled, and struggled, but no matter how he twisted they were too strong. He looked at the faces of the people in the line, always waiting, always, and screamed curses at them too. They were fine with their fate, but he would not just roll over and die. That's what this was, death unending.
Then he was brought back to the Machine, its working buzzing with most electrical and living energy. It was evil, it was a demon sent from those that were destroying their home now. He screamed as the Machine lit up, and he felt his soul being ripped from his body. He fought it, oh how he fought it, but it was too strong. He clawed at his hair, his skin, until he no longer had any. All he heard were the screams. Why wouldn't it ever stop? The scre-
Nartaga opened his eyes. He could feel the inside of his robes soaked in sweat. He had heard screaming. Real screaming. He stood up, erasing the symbol beneath him with his foot quickly, and poked his head into the tent.
=Nartaga= "Is something wrong, Six? Another bad dream?"

She needed a minute to calm down, hyperventilate a little. She had never seen anything as horid like that deamon mother, and especially because... she wasnt stupid. She knew whom it represented, at least guessed. She didnt like why.
-Six in tusken- "I understand why huts are abandoned around you. Bad dreams? Worst I ever had in my life."
She was still tired and it was still night. She herself was too smelling of sweat.
-Six in tusken- "I wouldnt mind if you let it be. I really need to sleep too."

Sleep? Nartaga had not slept ever since he had taken the crystal's powers into his soul. The one around his neck interacted with the one he had absorbed, but he could not just take it off, and let someone else pick it up by accident or thinking it was an easy few cups of water or even credits. It was too powerful, too dangerous.
Nartaga shook his head and entered the tent fully. He did not like impacting those around him with nightmares, but he had told Six beforehand, and she did not appear to mind. Nartaga could not help but apologize. It was partially his fault.
=Nartaga= "I am sorry. I told you about the people that lived nearby left because of nightmares. Many believe the High Councilor cursed."
Nartaga did not chuckle, he said it flat and the words died in the air.

-Six- "I wouldnt say cursed, but irritating."
She used humor to mask how scared she had become during the dream. She had never had a dream like that, that took her so personally. She went back to sleeping hoping none would come.
The next morning she helped prepearing for a hunt and they rode off to find a warrt.
-Six- "So... I never actually heard about a warrt. What is it?"

Nartaga had spent the rest of the night sitting outside of the tent. He did not meditate, so not to interfere with Six's dreams. Someone had to be well rested for the hunt. He gazed up at the night sky, crossing his arms to remain warm. It was much easier to ignore the temperature extremes of Tatooine when one was meditating. Still, he could not remember the last time he had simply gazed up at the stars.
Before he knew it, the suns had began to rise, and the two had broken down the camp, packing up and riding towards the mountains.
=Nartaga= "A Worrt is an amphibian that lives out in the mountains mostly. They're highly sought after for their poison. A single drop can kill even the largest warrior. We have a few in captivity in the Enclave's caves, those that we haven't blocked...They're stupid creatures, but dangerous when backed into a corner."
That was another story, from the early days when the R'Crurak first re-discovered the Enclave. The Dark Possessed in the caverns in the mountains, as far as he knew, were still alive in the deepest recesses of the caves. They had blocked them with the aid of Anven Firestar.
=Nartaga= "But we want the gland of a giant Worrt. It holds enough venom to supply an entire clan for a dozen battles. With the right technology you can remove the gland but still make it create venom. I've seen Outsiders do it before, in settlements we raided...before we stopped Raiding."

-Six- "Well, I do have stun bolts in this thing."
Said the blooming sales woman in Six, and she followed Nartaga. On the hunt she asked questions and was generaly curious about how her own people hunt, asking mostly about common creatures, what kind of trails they have and how they can better be tracked down. Finally, they got to the worrt.
-Six- "So, whats the plan on taking this worrt? And how do you plan on taking a giant one? How Big is one of those things?"
She was slowly getting rather agitating with the questions. Like a 5 year old on a trade meeting between clans.

Nartaga held his hands up and apart to show the size of a regular Worrt.
=Nartaga= "This is the size of a regular Worrt....This....."
Nartaga pointed to his Bantha.
=Nartaga= "Is the size of a giant Worrt."
Nartaga slowed his Bantha as a regular Worrt came into sight. The creature belched and wobbled off from the pair of Tuskens. Nartaga pointed up to the mountain top.
=Nartaga= "Too small..."
A large croak could be heard further up the mountain.
=Nartaga= "That's what we want."

She simply nodded and jumped off the Bantha. Taking her backpack off, she went through her gear. She took out the flash granade and stuck it to her belt. She took out a canteen and two nurishment sticks and also put them on her belt. She then activated the GPS tracker sewed inside her backpacks cloth and bound it to the banthas saddle. This way, if anything bad happened she could always find the bantha and get home, and she always had food and water on her, at least enough to find the bantha. With her gaffistick and E-11 blaster, the stealthbelt, the nightvision goggles and the granade, she was ready to hunt. She motioned nartaga forward.
-Six- "Wisdom and skill before youth and talent."

Nartaga took his Cycler rifle from the holster at the side of his Bantha and slung it over his shoulder, and then took his Gaderffii as well. As they got to the base of a rocky trail leading up, Nartaga got off his Bantha. Looking to Six, he could not help but pause at the amount of equipment she was bringing. The goggles may have been a bit much, but he did not say anything about them.
=Nartaga= "I can get close to the Worrt, and distract it. do not damage the mouth area, but we need to take it out as quickly as possible."
Nartaga slowly began to make his way up the small trail, and then went on his stomach and crawled as he reached the top, taking cover with the angle of the ridge. He turned his head slightly to Six, and nodded his head towards their prey.
The Worrt was just as large as Nartaga had said, if not a bit bigger, than a Bantha. It was laying down, waiting for the morning rays of sun to heat its skin, like a lizard. Nartaga gestured for Six to wait here while he made his move, crouching low and making his way closer to the Worrt. The large creature jerked as it heard Nartaga, and the Tusken Councilor froze. The Worrt turned to Nartaga and croaked loudly at the Tusken, who held up his hands, gaffii in one, nothing in the other. He set down his gaderffii and began walking towards the Worrt slowly, who began wobbling backwards away from Nartaga.
Nartaga outstretched a hand and began chanting below his breath. The blue Sentry Shaman markings on his robes glowed as he channeled his energy, leading up to his goggles, which shined with the intensity of the blue suns. The light shined across the Worrt.
=Nartaga in ???= "Oris duro, mar'kalair sh'rir hal'ik duro. G'vir sh'rir duro..."
Nartaga continued chanting, and the Worrt seemed to respond, advancing slowly on Nartaga, but not in an aggressive way. The Worrt came over and layed in front of Nartaga, as if the Tusken was not there, or that he did not care about the possible danger of the Tusken. Nartaga turned his head to Six, his eyes still shining with the same blue light through his goggles.
=Nartaga= "Now!"

When Nartaga first glanced over to where he thought the girl was, he would find her gone. Not only was she actually good at hiding, but the stealth belt helped a lot. She was already moving in on the creature. She set the blaster to stun and aimed in the creature from behind some rocks. She didnt hear a word, in the stealth field, only your own breathing and heartbeat was heard. Both calm.
She aimed in the shoulderblades and waited for the attack.
She suddenly saw Nartaga emerging on her left, arms open for a hug. She didnt know if he made any sounds, but for a moment, the Worrt looked like it is going to answer the hug in friendship. Untill it didnt, and Six knew she had to step in. She pulled the trigger and the stealth field broke down. Blue flashes hit the left shoulder muscles of the large creature mid step. While its hide and size was a lot larger then what the bolts were intended for, the leg itself was gone, spasming out of control. The creature fell, its large body sliding down towards Nartaga, with a stun bolt spraying Six behind it, trying to subdue the creature.

Nartaga had been a bit surprised when Six had suddenly appeared out of nowhere. He only lost in concentration for a moment before he lifted the Worrt into the air. The Force-influenced friendship gone, the Worrt croaked, growled, and made every other noise imaginable as it was lifted higher and higher into the air, before Nartaga slammed it down, head first, making a crater in the rock.
Nartaga moved close, his knife drawn, the light that had come from the markings on his robes and eyes gone. The Worrt was not dead, but there was blood oozing from its head, and its was flailing around uncontrollable. Nartaga tossed his knife to Six, and pointed to the Worrt.
=Nartaga= "You can take the kill. Make it quick. No creature should have to endure such pain for long."
Nartaga held his hands up and spread them out, and the Worrt's own limbs spread out, pinning them with invisible force on its back, although it continued to try and thrash around, squealing in pain. It's tongue flew out above and wriggled in the air before going limp and laying across the side of its head as it tried to flail.

She holsered the blaster after a couple more shots at limbs and back as she saw that Nartaga had solved the situation. She would feel really stupid if it was her fault the High Councilor of the Tusken people was crushed under an oversized lizard. But, she had trust in the old man and it was rewarded. She witnessed the power of the Force. She have not had this experience that many times.
She grabbed the knife out of the air and jumped up on the creatures back, laying flat down on it. She let her hands carass the creatures side, like a loving mother soothing a child. She was trying to find the place the heart was pounding the strongest. As she found it, she turned the knife on it.
One quick stab, the knife went in, the creature jerked, tried to stand up but its limbs were stunned and it just... died. Six had her head pressed to the creatures side, she listened and felt every move the creature made, untill it didnt. She left the knife where it was and slid down the large beasts spide, landing by Nartaga. She watched, wated for what the Councilor would do, eager to learn.

Nartaga watched as she put the Worrt out of its misery. The creature's death rattle was short, and it quivered in its final moments. He stood by silently and did not move or speak until Six was finished. Stretching out a hand, the knife that was still lodged in the Worrt's heart flew to him. Wiping the blood off with his sleeve, Nartaga jumped up to the head of the Worrt. Opening its mouth he paused before he began to cut, saying a prayer.
=Nartaga in Tusken= "Tatooine forgive us for taking the life of this beast, for its life would have continued without us. Know that its death will help secure peace amongst far distanced neighbors, and bring safety and prosperity to all on your surface."
Nartaga lifted the knife up and brought it down inside the mouth of the Worrt, cutting up, to get the venom gland. It took only a few minutes for Nartaga to cut it out. Tying two tube like pieces of it off so it would leak, Nartaga took the gland and hopped off the Worrt's corpse. He held out the gland to Six. The thing shook like a water balloon, filled with venom. It was a bit haevier than it looked.
=Nartaga= "There is enough venom in this gland to supply the entire Sentry forces. It should be enough for the Banshees' purposes, yes?"

-Six- "You speak as if all we did was poison people."
She meant it as a joke, and she did snicker at it.
-Six- "Poisons can be used to kill other poisons and sicknesses, not to mention making an antidote. I knew that even as a girl of the Sakkatt clan."
She bit her tounge. She shouldnt have said that. Instead of speaking more she produced a cloth and wrapped the gland in it.
-Six- "Thank you, none the less. What will we do with the corpse?"
