I like your thoughts about laying the groundwork for the intel, like you said it does beat going the just asking bob route As for the troops, I'll leave that up to you to decide what is best to send and where to send them.
Maybe we give it a few days more to see if anyone else shows an interest in participating and then have your guys contact Clan Bralor after getting their message, and then we go from there?

For what it's worth, Dice only has a thousand and a quarter clones to throw around. They're better than most soldiers, but more numbers the better in terms of basic infantry.

I'm good with whatever makes everyone happy
I tend to find smaller groups like squadrons more fun to write, personally, so will probably stick to that POV/ level, but having the numbers focus/POV as someone else's "job" for things will add more depth, so I'll leave that in ya'all's hands

Gonna be getting Galaar moving here.
Let's all remember though that this is meant to be a struggle for the Mandalorians. With Dral missing, the Assembly having not known a true war for ages, and the factor of overwhelming surprise and expertise of their foe, we want this to be the uphill conflict that we need to bring the clans into a new era. A definition for the future. Hell, I plan for the MDC to be divided and pinned across various worlds, making it hard for Galaar to bring in anything of significance without ensuring the fate of a world by drawing too much from them.

If you like, once the next scenario wraps up (Terminus arc) I can post around at all the planets involved as like the next part of the evil plan. What planets other then Mandalore are involved?

Mandalorian controlled worlds would have likely reverted back to Mandalore, Ordo, and Concord Dawn. We could include Contruum, but let's keep it simple.

Also Lehon for mando planets.
As for the number of troops, yeah, I'm scaling back to more squad and platoon level stuff. So regardless of how many troops I drop, I will be mostly focusing on the prince and his squad/platoon. The rest will be as background filler to make the battle more epic, as well as possible casualties & clean up crew. It also gives the battle more punch if there are a lot of ground pounders following in the wake of the more skilled elite infantry units. Gives it less of a tiny skirmish feel and more 'fate of the nation is riding on this' feel.
And yeah, the ME sections of the Assembly will be uncovering turf to move this legion into position to help. I figure I can point Drag in the right area for some fun retaliation work caused by that gap in the aftermath. Or just RP the area having more local troubles due to the pull out of their defending forces.

I mean... you don't need massive legions and huge numbers for something to feel the 'fate of the nation is riding on this'. Honestly, given that the Mando's are meant to be on the backfoot and small in number rally gives it that much more of that feel. Gives it an element of danger that these few soldiers are all that stands between the Mandalorian's surviving, and our culture/nation being wiped out with ease.

Also Lehon for mando planets. Talking more within the SL's original area. We had started on Obroa-skai and planned for this to be within the nearby MA worlds. Lehon is definitely more a ways out.

Festerbile Bubonicus, Plague Knight of Runnelsore Keep sworn to the Reaper Prime's pestilent service, has arrived on Concord Dawn with a small force of Brothlings (cyborg xamsters that produce nanogene spore). Infected villagers and animals transforming into techno-beasts surely to follow.

Huzzah! That sounds like a place to go visiting. Locals get first crack of course. Anyone actively on CD?

Yep, just us. Those Brothlings are only there since I suggested that Mr. Vilebroth, at least, give an update to the situation on Concord Dawn as Harini, Dice, and Buf make their small pit stop at CD before moving onto Mandalore. Nothing too intensive needed, but just enough to show that the situation on Mandalore and once on Obroa-skai has expanded to more than just the Assembly's capital.
Way he and I discussed it: it's meant to be a nuisance and distraction more or less to the armed forces and citizens of Concord Dawn. I would rather the writer truly focus on one location than multiple locations, even if it is just one other planet.

So are we going to treat that engagement as a full-fat invasion/counter-invasion, or is this a thing for the local CD Mando players to do? Don't want to step on anyone's cool-personal-character-plot toes with a flight of Y-Wings and an armored column.

Its more a local thing, meant to tie down Mandalorian resources on Concord Dawn. It's essentially like a feint; keep the MA's armed forces focused and divided while Mr. Plaguebringer does his work on the Mandalorian homeworld. I essentially discussed it as "they come out at night to terrorize and raid the armed villages. Some endure and others have fallen. Food is being poisoned and water tainted." There'd be a small engagement when you guys arrive though.

Clan Ha'rangir appears to reclaim their honour and pledge to the Mandalorian Assembly against the Plague Lord.

Glad to have you aboard! If you are looking for a place to join in, you could either show up on Concord Dawn to help with their Brothling infestation or, since the Aliit'alor of Clan Bralor recently contacted the Clans after an attack on Manda'yaim to have them reach out if interested in helping out with the war with the Plague Lord, contact Clan Bralor in Norg Bral on Mandalore.

Well, I wouldn't want to impose on Galaar and Vera. But could certainly happen to arrive there when the Victores does. Otherwise certainly happy to show up at Norg Bral and joining the expedition from there.

Just so I have everything clear. Ra, what exactly is your/your clan's beef with Or'dinii? I doubt the diplomat would know either way, but I'm clueless about it as well. Was it something I did (As Aya? Z'har? one of my other characters?)? or Plu? or one of the other Or'dinii? I don't remember having active beef with any of the other clans (except the feud with death watch). But I've been out of writing for a few years so I could have forgotten things. Or just something for the sake of SL spice?
Also I'm not even sure if you are a new writer, or just a new character at this point. Or even a returning older character.

Still working out the flow of posting with Ra and getting appropriate detail with his posts. May end up going back and editing my reply further to fix it up a little bit over what I have already done. So I can understand the confusion at the moment, clarification will come soon. But it’s not about something super personal. Once I get a chance to edit my post up a bit, it should be a lot more clearer.
