The pair of Interceptor-class Frigates pushed their assault against the First Order convoy as they moved closer. Weeks had been spent preparing for this job, locking in the routes these crafts took, the ships typically used, and so on. They wanted to ensure that all would go off without a hitch that the score would be easy to secure. In the end, it had paid off. That had picked their location close to where the First Order route lay and remained mostly powered down, there scanners being the only thing active outside of the life supports. Once the First Order was close by, it was nothing to power up their systems and make their assault. It was easy pickings as well. Though they had a few fighters and solid ships to take down the pirates, the element of surprise with a good plan of attack was still hard to counter. As such, the escort ships and fighters had been taken down with ease and the bulk cruisers were seeking to flee, their defenses taken down as well.
It was at this point that the squad of NTB-630 Naval Bombers pushed ahead and began a run against the engines of the convoy as the frigates continued to pelt them with turbolaser fire in order to weaken the defenses further. The squad of Heavy/Light Attack Fighter 500s held back next to the frigates in a defensive formation, though more for the reason their task had been completed. Soon, the Interceptors would dock with the convoy and eliminate those on board, allowing the Action VI Bulk Cruisers waiting just behind the frigates to attack and load up the supplies.

All had seemed to go according to plan for the pirates as they made their assault against the convoy. Unfortunately, a small hiccup had in their strategy had been revealed when the distress signal went out. Perhaps they had thought about the chance of the convoy calling for help and attempted to jam the signal. Maybe they thought they'd be in and out before help arrived. Even more, there was the possibility that they felt no one would be close enough to catch the signal or be able to get there in time. For all anyone knew, they could have thought out every angle and prepared for it.
But, as with life, not all strategies perfectly fell into place.
Whatever the reason, it didn't matter as the convoy's signal got out with their coordinates and the Valahia picked it up. As such, it was time for the tables to be turned and the pirates to fall victim to a surprise attack. Dropping out of hyperspeed, the Valahia pressed forward at a quick pace, not once slowing from its sublight speed. Xoia and her team put the hammer down on the engines as the fires burner hotter and press their fighters forward and ahead of the corvette.
Far enough back, even at the speed they were running, they could gather a quick grasp of the situation. The next advantage they received was the fact they were a covert unit. From the Silencers to the Valahia all carried stealth field generators. While it didn't render them invisible, they were hidden away from sensors, which, more often than not, was all one needed to initiate a surprise and sudden attack to gain the upper hand.
As they made their approach, Xoia opened the channel to her fighters and the Valahia. Lieutenant Vilrein, bring the Valahia up in between those two frigates. As soon as you are in range, begin your assault. Hold nothing back. I want those engines and weapons down for sure in quick fashion. Razgriz Squadron, begin your attack run. Focus your attention on the bomber before they can do any more damage to the convoy. The Valahia can handle the strike fighters until we clear them out. It's time to show everyone just why we were selected for this crew.
The confirmation came in from all parties as Xoia lead the charge versus the bombers. Against the dark void of space, their black hulls made them much harder to see, allowing them to slip past the interceptors as they pulled up above their formation. As they closed in on the first bombers, Lieutenant Vilrein brought the Valahia close enough to unleash the power of their dual turbolasers upon the frigates as the dual laser cannons took aim against the fighters surrounding them. This sudden assault diverted the pirates' attention behind them, giving Xoia and her team clear shots at the bombers. Breaking formation enough to engage a single target each from head-on, the first third of the bombing force went down before anyone knew what was happening. Their uncertain and panicked emotions made them easy prey to the next attack as they brought their craft around in quick succession due to the superior agility to eliminate the next four. Barely having the chance to break away the remaining bombers fell in rapid succession.
All that was left was the remaining strike fighters and the frigates.

It was all going well, the frigates just a few dozen meters from rolling up beside the convoy and taking it over. Then they were meet with the sudden jolting of an impact from turbolaser fire. The systems began to flicker as the ship shifted a bit. The captain of the group growled under his breath as he righted himself.
"Status report. What's going on?!" The crew hustled around, getting back to their positions as they began looking at the situation. Finally, the captain's second-in-command spoke up.
"Sir, we've taken heavy damage to our starboard side. Shield power has dropped to 70 percent. We have a single ship coming up from the rear, seeking to get between us."
The captain growled again, his fist tightening upon his chair.
"Another ship? Who? Where the hell did it come from? Who was supposed to be watching the sensors?"
"I suspect it's a First Order ship. Somehow, the convoy must have gotten a message out. And as far as we can tell, they must have sensor jammers. They didn't come up on our sensors until they started attacking us." Before another word could be said, explosions began going off in front of them as the bomber squadron was picked off. Infuriated, the captain stood to his feet.
"Damn these First Order dogs. All hands, fire everything on that ship. Have our fighters engage the enemy starfighters now. We won't let them pick us apart like this. Show them our power. This single ship won't stand a chance against us in a straight fight." Following the orders given to them, the fighters broke away from the laser fire and worked to engage the Silencers as the frigates began to pull back from the convoy and began turning to face the Valahia, the turbolaser that could fire unleashing their fury, though the pair of ships had received a fair bit of damage already.

Despite the panic instilled by the surprise assault, the pirates were quick in trying to respond. However, the Valahia and Razgriz squadron had already set the pace of the battle. No matter how quick the enemy was in getting back into the fight, the truth was that their stealth attack allowed them to remain undetected until they made their assault, allowing everyone to properly pick their initial targets and unleash a heavy barrage at vital points without interference. This allowed for heavy damage to be given to their shields and engines, the effects already having weakened the capability of the frigates. While their weapons were still fully operational, they had to reposition themselves a bit to be capable of fighting back, giving the Valahia more time to unleash hell upon the pirates.
It took a moment, but the pirate eventually came up on both sides of the Valahia, a tactic that benefited the Sloane-class Stealth Destroyer. This position allowed the First Order ship to outgun each ship. And that was before the missiles were factored in, something that had been held off on until they were properly between them. With orders from Lieutenant Vilrein to fire, missiles rained down upon the Interceptors' hulls, causing even more damage. Bit by bit, weapon emplacements were falling before any serious damage could be dealt to the Valahia. It wasn't long before the ships were unable to fight back without changing course.
With the aid of the Valahia, four of the fighters surrounding the frigates had been eliminated before they were able to scramble and evade the corvette's laser fire. But the panic granted them enough time to finish off the bombers with little effort. Shortly after, the remaining fighters attempted their assault against Razgriz Squadron. Breaking their formation, the team worked to pick away at the fighters. While capable ships, they still were inferior in every way. Their speed allowed them to easily pull away and their agility gave them the means to evade any fire that they came under while making it a pain to keep in front of the enemy as well as making it easy to establish a tail. Then accounting for the heavier firepower, the fighter stood little chance. And finally, the difference of skill in the pilots. The skills and training of First Order pilots, especially the four with Force training, were too much to deal with. Before long, the enemy fighters had been dealt with.
Getting back into formation, Razgriz Squadron made attack runs against the frigates as they attempted to reposition themselves in order to keep fighting. The strength of the Valahia had already done a number on the pirates, but it was time to finish the job. Making runs against the engines, the Silencers released their missiles directly into them, destroying them and forcing them to shut down. In mere moments, all that would be left would be smoldering remains of scrap once the explosions from the reactors tore the ships apart.
As they made their runs, Xoia noticed the Action VI Bulk Cruiser fleeing. She thought of pursuing it but knew it held no threat. If anything, they'd keep eyes out for it. Perhaps this was merely a small team of a much larger gang. And that cruiser could be the means of eventually finding the rest and eliminating them. Opening her comms, she contacted the Valahia. Lieutenant Vilrein, tag the retreating cruiser. I want to keep track of it should it ever decide to pop up again.
The confirmation came through as they finished off the ships. Once they were destroyed, Xoia contacted the convoy. Attention, First Order Convoy. This is Captain Xoia Reyes of the Valahia and commander of Razgriz Squadron. What is the status of your ships?
Captain Reyes, we are thankful for your aid. I was wondering if our distress signal made it out. We've lost our weapon systems and have received a fair bit of damage, but our engines, main systems, and hyperdrive are still fully functional. Your timing couldn't have been any better. In our current state, we should still be able to finish our supply run.
Understood. It was a good thing we were close enough nearby to give you the aid. Her mind then shifted for a moment to the new patrol fleet. With the divisions it should end up having, they'd be much more effective in being in close proximity to many more situations like this in order to better respond. Please transmit your destination coordinates. We will finish escorting you to your drop off location.
Acknowledging the order, the coordinates were uploaded as the Silencers and the Valahia as the fell into position with the convoy and continued on with their journey.

Nearly a month and a half had passed since Xoia had been told by the Rear-Admiral that the fleet she suggested had been approved. In that time, the woman had kept her ship and crew close to Aargau as they continued their training maneuvers and aiding in any problems within close proximity to the planet, allowing them some actual hands-on experience. But the time had finally come for the newly crafted fleet to assemble.
Xoia stood on the bridge as the Valahia dropped out of hyperspace into the open reaches of space. All the ships that would be apart of the fleet had been given the rendevous coordinates and time in which everyone would be required to gather so that the assignments could be handed out. Having not been the only one to arrive, a few ships were already gathered and in place, including the unmistakable Victory III-class Star Destroyer. Even now, the sight of such a vessel was awe-inspiring, even compared to the larger and more powerful ships within the First Order. But this craft was certainly no slouch in any way, being just as capable of dominating a situation.
There were a couple of Vindicators, a newly designed Gladiator III, as well as some Ardents. Even she didn't know how many ships would exist in this fleet or its composition. All she knew was that once everyone gathered and checked in, orders would be established. Turning to Amar, she gave her orders. "Lieutenant Vilrein, contact that Victory and let them know that the Valahia has arrived and is awaiting orders.
Giving her a salute, she turned away and moved to the comms officer and relayed the message to the Victory III. It was less than a minute later that he returned.
"Ma'am, we have just received word. It has been requested that both a ship's commander and flight lead take a ship and board the Aigaion. You'll then be escorted to the command room with the other ship leaders for briefing about our new assignments."
Xoia looked back to Amar as he gave her the message. It was a bit amusing to think that she'd be the only one who'd be coming alone. But it was of little consequence. She then gave a nod before looking back out at the gathered ships. "The Aigaion, huh? Quite a name for such a ship. Very well. I will depart immediately. I leave the ship in your hands while I'm gone."
Giving her a final salute, Xoia left the bridge and made her way down to the hangars. Hoping in her Silencer, she booted up the systems and left the hangar once all her systems were up. Clear of the Valahia, she made her way towards the Victory III.

Following the orders given to her, Xoia landed within the designated hangar of the Victory III. Already had a few shuttles already arrived, though it was to be expected since other ships had gathered. Disembarking her starfighter, she was met by an escort that led her through the ship. On her way, she took in one of the newer ships that had come to grace the First Order fleets.
It wasn't long before she arrived at the war room. Other commanders and flight leads were present. Before she could get too far, she was meet with a familiar voice.
"Well, well well. If it isn't Spitfire." Turning, she saw her old flight captain Conrad Vesker. Facing him fully, she gave him a salute. "No need for that anymore. Word has it that you've moved up in the world as of late. Both a fight captain and a full-fledged ship captain. Very Impressive. It's even be said that you had something to do with this new assignment."
Standing at ease, she smiled. It was true that in one aspect, they were equal while in another, she was his superior. Amusing to think about, but she didn't expect him to salute her. "Yeah, it was a bit of a surprise when I was given this command. A bit overwhelming, but luckily, I've had the privilege of serving with a supportive crew." She then gave a shrug. "I may have made a few suggestions to Rear Admiral Lurkan. But how about you? Still leading Ofnir Squadron?"
"Yeah, Ofnir Squadron is still kicking. No longer serving in the small patrol fleet since those ships were decommissioned to make way for this new fleet. We now serve aboard the Ardent-class Fat Frigate Balaur. Certainly more capable in a fight than what we had. We also are fuctioning with a full squad now piloting the very nice TIE-Xs. Not as nice as the Silencers you're got, but definitely superior to what we were using. Guess I should thank you for that little upgrade."
Xoia laughed a little as the two contrinue to converse about all that had happened since they parted ways.

The conversation carried on as more people entered the war room. Before long, a older male stepped up to the central table and spoke.
I am Captain Herras, Captain of the Aigaion. Now that everyone is here, I will begin this meeting. As you are all aware, we have been brought together from multiple smaller patrol fleets to now create a much larger one. Some of us have worked together in the past. Not only that, but most have also received new ships and fighters to better carry out our tasks should we find ourselves against a decently armed opponent. For that, we have Captain Reyes to thank for that and her suggestions to Fleet Command." He paused for a moment as all eyes turned to her, acknowledging the woman for the suggestions in providing them with better equipment and connections to a better fleet. "Now, though we are connected as a single fleet, we will be dividing ships into divisions to spread out our patrols. The difference now is that we won't need to request aid through multiple channels, but able to contact any division within the fleet directly. It will certainly save us time and lives."
The man took a moment to look around at everyone as he prepped himself to give out the assignments provided to him by command.
"The Obsidian Sentinal Patrol Fleet will be divided into seven separate divisions. I will call out the division number, then the ship that will serve as the flagship and leader of that group. So pay close attention. The first division will be led by the Aigaion and accompanied by the Sphyrna, the Kottos, and the Gyges. The second division will be led by the Scinfaxi and accompanied by the Fensalir, the Alicorn, and the Dragonet. Third division led by the Hrimfaxi with the Folkvangr, the Proteus, and the Naiad. Fourth will be led by the Balaur with the Ninox, the Mobius, the Gryphus, the Ilios, and the Gorizant."
Xoia's head perked up a bit as she heard the Balaur get called, the ship her former flight captain was serving on. It was an Ardent, so most likely the rest that followed were smaller craft. However, his division would undoubtedly be well off considering it held six ships versus the other four. But as quickly as she reflected on this, she returned her attention to the Captain so to keep track of the developing divisions.
Fifth division led by the Varcolac with the Fuscum, the Emmeria, the Erusea, the Osea, and the Belka. Sixth division led by the Molniya with the Varona, the Nazea, the Komyeta, and the Voskhad. Finally, our final division will be our covert and special operations division. Unlike the others, it'll only consist of a single craft, the Valahia and her specialized team."
It was a bit on the surprising side that her crew would be the only ones without support ships. But it did make sense. Where the others would be the sword that sought to eliminate their enemies, her crew wouldn't function that way. Stealth was their key feature. If she needed a larger force, it would be nothing to call for aid. And if another division needed their ability to sneak around, then they would call.
"You have your divisions. Once everyone has returned to their ships, I will forward the patrol routes to the lead ships. From there, they will inform the rest. Good hunting. Dismissed."
With everything finished, Xoia headed out with the others to the hangars. Boarding her Silencer, she departed the Aigaion and made her way back to her ship. Aboard, she made her way to the hangar where their orders had been received. Giving the command, coordinates were put in and the Valahia disappeared into hyperspace.

"I swear, by the Emperor's bones, I know nothing else"
Savage snarled, baring the sharp teeth. He made a slight move with the right hand, casually using the force to snap the man's neck.
"Throw that through the exhaust"
The droid simply nodded and used his powerful servos to grab the grey-clad officer and drag him out the chamber. Soon, the Sith sensed the openning of the exhaust. He remained, hands on knees, meditative. The doors slid open to reveal the droid again.
"Sire"
"We have been on this for months now"
He hissed, impatient.
"But at least we got a clue. Shipments to secret places called Observatories"
The Sith looks at the emotionless faceplate of his robotic servant.
"There's one at Pillio. At least our dear captain believed so"
He said with scorn, making reference to the man he just killed.
"Maybe, we will get lucky there. Set the coordinates"
The droid left again and soon he could sense space swirling around him, like a maelstorm. Savage focused on his thoughts, who wandered from place to place, even sensing in a corner of his mind the dark presence and will of his dark lord and father...

The scritter fell sliced in two with agonical sound. The insects laid dead all around and the Sith was panting. They had swarmed him from every angle, in a maelstorm of wings and sharp mandibles. Few had grazed his skin, something that annoyed him to no end. The blood poured from one, he realized, looking at it with a frown. He hung the lightsaber from the belt and wrapped himself in his dark cloak, tightly. The large gate laid before himself, no mechanism on sight. The Sith made a slight gesture of hand, reaching out in the Force. The door slid open, revealing a dark-lit room, carved in the rock and covered in grates and artifacts, from wall to wall. He sensed flashes of an old faint presence, something bright, a beacon of light. But it's itching nature was soon gone. Savage looked around, his dark gaze wandering across the room, resting on several objects, that he measured up and inspected closely. He keyed the beacon on his vambrace.
The ship soon landed near the entrance, lights covering the gate and the hooded figure standing before it. The droid reached his master with diligence.
"Empty that"
Said the Sith, pointing at the Emperor's old vault.
"That belongs to the Sith, to Korriban with it"
"Master, did you find it?"
He produced a dark holocron, pyramidal in shape, covered in runes and scribblings, geometric shapes of power.
"Set the coordinates to fly back to my fortress. I'm tired of wandering around like an errand boy"
"As you wish, sire"
The Sith entered his ship, without even a second look to Palpatine's Observartory.

Plunkett new the drill. He'd been in the IF for many years. And from that scaring experience he was used to twists and turns. Pilot and Co-pilot did not share that torturous past. -Co-pilot- "These people are nuts...." His partner replied -Pilot- "You think?" Then the ship ahead made a sudden turn and they followed

Just following the other two ships would have been suicidal in Boland 's opinion Luckily Maureen playing with The hound near them spoke up saying matter of factly -Maureen- "We're going to Tython." He turned asking - Boland- "How do yo...." But cut himself off; she just did. So he followed her lead. Tython. As they veered into the turnoff He could feel the sweat on his back

With little, if anything left to lose, Morrigan led the lot of them on a rip. Co-pilot and Pilot, manning Plunkett's ship collectively shook heads. Eighth beer of the day in hand, one spoke -Co-pilot- "Do you even think that woman should be allowed to drive?" The three ship convoy burned out of sight

Darth Strife:
The modified HWK-290 light freighter traveled smoothly through hyperspace. On board, Darth Strife finished his calculations and turned his attention to his apprentice. He was surprised and annoyed to find him asleep. Hadn't the boy listened to anything he told him? sleeping instead of meditating. Wrath circled inside of the sith and he walked over to Adonias and smacked the back of his head hard. "Wake up! How pathetic, a few minutes of meditating and you are too weak for more than that?" Strife's lip curled in disgust. "No sleep for you, I expect you to meditate the entire night or there will be consequences, boy. How do you expect to beat anything if you can't even stay awake?"
Darth Strife strode away without waiting for an answer. The Mando would meditate or else he would be beat within an inch of his life. Fury coursed through him. Why was it so hard to find a decent apprentice? Nobody understood sacrifice and pain anymore. He felt just a little older every time he interacted with an idiot like this. He closed himself in his cabin and reached out to the force. He would know if Adonias did anything besides listen.

*Adonias yelped at the rough head slap and bolted upright in time to hear Darth Strife's muttering. He glowered with his arms crossed.*
"I'M NOT WEAK!! I bet you fifty credits that Crystal falls in the first 5 minutes OLD MAN!" *He shouted back grumpily. Rolling his eyes at the stupidity of it all, he gathered the force around himself, closed his eyes, and began to meditate. This time, he began to see images. Things past, present, and much to his surprise...a future vision as well. An hour into his meditation, he snapped his eyes open. Yet again, he'd seen something that didn't make much sense to him.*

Darth Strife:
He felt the disturbance in the force and opened his eyes. For someone so young in experience, Adonias adapted quickly to using the force. He wondered if he had seen a vision, perhaps something important? Walking out of his cabin, he entered the main cockpit and sat in the pilot chair. "Anything you want to share?" He stared unnervingly at Adonias, while sitting completely still in his chair.

*Adonias grinned*
"If I share...do I earn sleep time?"
*The young man snickered as though he'd told a good joke and shook his head quickly.*
"Sheesh, lighten up old man, it was a joke. Well...I don't know how to tell you this. You are probably going to hurt me if I tell."

The sith scowled at the boy. Infernal children. "If you are so weak as to need sleep, then you may sleep anytime." He smiled lazily, with a dangerous glint in his eyes. "As for telling me, I felt the disturbance in the force. I know you saw something. Punishment comes from laziness, weakness, and ineptitude. Seeing a force vision is none of those." He was tempted to roll his eyes again but restrained himself. Then he sat waiting for the information.

"Okay. Neither of us defeats Crystal in the future."
*Adonias stared very seriously at the Sith, all glimmer of previous jest gone from his eyes. He looked...haunted and burdened by what he'd seen.*
"She...I mean, you, me and her apparently end up together. All three of us. And there was a little boy... I think the kid is my young cousin from Mandalore. Eimhin. He is with Crystal right now."

Darth Strife:
The sith stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Interesting" That was the only thing he said out loud. In his mind he pondered the possibility. It sounded far fetched and though it was only a chance probability per the force he wondered if it could actually happen. He couldn't envision all three of them co-existing but perhaps that would work out the best for himself if they did join together. He was still youthful thanks to the force's healing properties but he was not getting any younger. What better way to ensure he had a strong sith following in his footsteps than to train them both side by side?
"What do you make of your vision, my apprentice? Would you work side by side with Crystal, the one who abandoned you? The coward who took your ship?" Strife looked at Adonias sardonically, prodding at his pride with cutting words.
