He could still feel her, alive, somewhere deep down. Trying to explain it would be impossible, since he wasn't really sure he knew the words to use. Instead he settled for a nod of his head in agreement If anyone could have escaped there, it would be Eryneth... She's too stubborn to die, takes after me in that respect I guess... His gaze settled on Brielle, only briefly breaking from her as she introduced the place they were as Ossus. But from there, confusion only grew as she rattled off names, the Adega System, the Outer Rim Territories. He knew of places that called themselves Territories where he came from, but he had a strong suspicion that what she meant was something entirely else. He felt quite out of his depths even as she finally asked the name of the world he came from. He'd heard a name used once, a long time ago, whispered by the Witches I... believe they called it Acron... His hand moved from his pendent then, allowing the small holoprojection unit to render a full sized image of a woman with red hair in a green dress that was leafed with gold designs like tree branches. To say it was extremely revealing was quite accurate :: Really... I thought I'd taught you better... Eryn was a much better student than you were... :: The projection of the woman turned to Brielle and gave a curt curtsey :: My apologies for Drauchir, He's... well... A good Faradrim. The best there ever was. Now, Let me pull up a map... :: Another hologram appeared showing a small galaxy :: I believe your people know this as Companion Cresh, at least that was from the data we recovered... Right here, is where our world was. We called it Acron, though it was listed as Unknown Planet Number Eight One Five, Three Four Three. But the data I had was quite old. Also, I apologise about the landing, this vessel was not designed for control by a non-human to such a degree in its current configuration... Oh, but where are my manners, I am Runya :: Drauchir merely sat and grumbled his disapproval of Runya's interference in the matter

Brielle smiles when Drauchir describes his apprentice, Eryneth, telling him, "I suppose there are worse qualities of yours that she could have emulated, musing aloud, Saying one is stubborn is, after all, often just another way to say that they are resolute, which has more positive connotations." The name Acron, which may not even be the name of Drauchir's home world given the uncertainty he seems to have about whether he has recollected the name correctly, doesn't ring any bells for her, Brielle's perplexed expression making that evident despite the lack of a verbal declaration accompanying it.
Arching her eyebrows in surprise when the holographic projection of a woman in an ornate green dress that would not be out of place on Zeltros appears, Brielle laughs when she, or should it be, as is likely the case given that Drauchir's home world - which, it is soon revealed, he had remembered the name correctly when the red haired woman names it without the uncertainty accompanying Drauchir's recollection of the name - has been destroyed, and A.I. simulacrum of someone from Acron, chides Drauchir in amusing way about how his apprentice had been a better student than he was. Looking at the map the A.I. projects of the Companion Cresh, or so it believes the projection represents, Brielle vaguely remembers the name having some kind of association with something to do with dwarf galaxies, which, given astrology is not a field she has delved too deeply into or has much interest in learning more about, doesn't necessarily help her understand where Drauchir's home world was,
Kneeling in a chair isn't conducive to bowing, and so Brielle inclines her head respectfully instead after Runa introduces herself after explaining that the ship Drauchir crash landed in was not one made with non-humans in mind, and introduces herself in case Runya had not been listening in on everything that was said prior to making her presence known, at least to Brielle given that Drauchir doesn't seem terribly surprised by Runya's arrival, saying, "It is nice to meet you Runya. Thank you for that information, and, she waves a hand to dismiss the apology Runya had offered concerning the crash landing, you don't need to apologize, any landing one can walk away from, as the saying goes, a good one." If Runya is an A.I., she is a more sophisticated one than the handful of A.I. Gatekeepers in the Jedi holocrons Brielle has been allowed access to in her time as a Jedi Initiate; something about Runya's use of humor and unstilted delivery of what she says surpassing the somewhat detached manner in which the Gate keepers from the holocrons Brielle has been allowed to use deliver their lessons.
Wondering if Runya knows of Eryneth's fate, Brielle nearly asks her about that before, realizing that if it was a possibility Drauchir would have already be asking that question, and so instead asks Runya, "You said the ship was not designed with non-humans in mind? Isn't Drauchir a human though? Having seen Drauchir in a half-dressed state, Brielle had seen nothing about him suggesting he was not human, though given there are several near human species, such as her own, that appear human, she supposes she could be wrong, which would explain why Runya said what she had about the ship. Realizing that Runya's apology, when coupled with the fact the ship was not designed with non-humans in mind, could mean that she had been trying to pilot the ship when it crashed, Brielle asks, Or did you mean that you were trying to pilot the ship? Another idea occurring to her, Brielle asks, Could you walk us through what repairs the ship needs?" If Runya can access the ship's systems and use them to connect with the holonet to look for information about repairing the damages the ship has sustained, Brielle and Drauchir will stand a better chance of reaching civilization sooner than walking might afford them.

Brielle was not wrong that there were worse qualities Eryn could have emulated, so it definitely could have been worse, and at least this one would help her survive. He glared up at Runya then, as the ghost of the Witch appeared and berated him about his study skills and then made a quip to Brielle he knew was meant as a subtle jab at him I'm sitting right here...
:: Exactly, I wouldn't say any different behind your back either... :: He grumbled a little then, not feeling in the mood to argue with her Ghost. The Red-Haired Witch turned her focus back on Brielle as the woman introduced herself :: It's a pleasure to meet you Brielle... :: She smiled to herself as Brielle recounted a saying about landings one could walk away from :: I think we may need to revise that given I can't really... walk away myself. :: She stood silently then, as Brielle asked about her earlier comment regarding the ships controls. Drauchir stared up at Runya, already anticipating the Witches response No... But it was too late, with Runya letting out a fairly animated laugh :: Drauchir? Piloting? Oh, there is much for you to learn my dear... But yes, I was the one doing the piloting. Drauchir may be humanoid, but he... :: She giggled a little, earning another stern look from Drauchir Really... Really?
:: It's just the truth. I'm sorry My Love... ::
Don't... His hand clutched the pendent a little harder as his gaze dropped from Runya and looked down at the floor, feeling an ache deep in his heart. Runya's previously mirthful smile disappeared :: I apologise, I shouldn't have... :: She turned her focus to Brielle, as the woman inquired about whether Runya could walk them through the ship repairs. She raised her hand up to her chin thoughtfully :: Hmmm... I could try... Drau, if you would... :: He didn't look up at her as he turned around, pulling off the wolf's head pendant as he did so, and placed it on the droid port. Runya's image disappeared for a moment, before reappearing as a projection in one of the seats :: Bringing up the holonet connector... Accessing ship schematics... Checking Ship Manifest... :: Drau pushed himself up off the ground and moved away from the console toward the back of the room, rummaging around in the mess of discarded items to find his swords and bowcaster. He slid the pair of swords over his back and clipped the bowcaster to his belt as Runya did her magic. He needed a moment before he could face her again. Runya meanwhile turned to Brielle and put forth several schematics :: There is a lot of overall damage, but we should have the supplies aboard for you to perform the repairs. We can also re-route power from these components to get enough power to get in the air again and.... That's interesting... We should be able to get back to the Temple? :: A consequence of accessing the ships Holonet transmitter to get the ship schematics and repair manuals, was also that Runya could also access the wider Galactic Net providing her with a wealth of knowledge previously inaccessible to her people

Brielle cannot help but smile as Drauchir and Runya banter back and forth, only interrupting to suggest, "Any landing one can . . . simulate walking away from then?" after Runya points out that she cannot, as a holoprojection, technically not walk at all. Brielle's smile fades when Drauchir responds strongly to Runya referring to him as her love, revealing that they had been in a romantic relationship at the time of her death and again suggesting that whatever manner of AI or simulacrum Runya is, she is far more complex than any Brielle herself has ever come across.
Grateful for the brevity of the awkward moment following Runya's use of a term of endearment for Drauchir, Brielle examines the schematics that are projected as she does her best to follow Runya's suggestions. Tilting her head to the side inquisitively when Runya concludes her explanation of the repairs needed to get the ship in condition for at least atmospheric flight that they might be able to reach a temple, Brielle asks to make sure she understands Runya correctly, "Do you mean the Jedi Praxeum, or temple, here on Ossus?"
As she waits for Runya's reply, Brielle starts gathering the supplies and tools needed to repair the ship, glad that they will not need to make the trip to the Praxeum on foot. Ideally Drauchir will be welcomed to stay at the Praxeum long enough to recover from his ordeal and decide what his next step will be now that he is on a world in a universe that is alien to him.

Runya gave an affirmative nod of her head at Brielle's question :: Indeed, that does appear to be what the information I've found lists it as. My earlier hesitance was merely just processing so much new data... :: Drauchir's gaze lingered on the front window, studying the forest and the crash site for a moment, before offering what limited aide he could to Brielle by helping to move various supplies about and working open various hatches and panels So... what is this Jedi Praxeum? I know what a Temple is where I come from, but I get the feeling it's not quite the same here? He left Brielle to handle most of the repair works, seeing as she seemed to understand the images and what ever else Runya had been doing with the ship. He still felt very out of touch with it all, given he'd spent most of his life without any of it. Sure, he'd seen bits and pieces in his travels either in the hands of the members of the Council, or being used by some Witch or Wizard or other that sought to cause trouble and harm to others. But there was a great chasm of difference between seeing it and understanding it. Truth be told, he still wasn't sure exactly what Runya's ghost was or how it did the things it did. But he'd seen her work enough to just trust her. Just as he trusted her in the path, so too did he now trust her and Brielle

As, consulting the diagrams projected by Runya frequently, Brielle begins to get to work on repairing the ship Drauchir had crash landed in, she answers his question about the Jedi Praxeum, finding it somewhat more difficult than expected as she needs to try and find ways to explain concepts and other things one not from a distant and foreign dwarf galaxy would understand more readily, telling him first, "No, I imagine that it is a bit different than the temples from where you hail from, hesitating as she adds less certainly, possibly, given that the word temple, even in the universe Drauchir has found himself in, has more than one connotation, and then explains briefly, Unlike some temples, the Praxeum isn't used for religious purposes, crinkling her nose as she realizes the Jedi might be considered by some to be a religious order and adding, not really, and then, having an idea, asks, Did the Witches on your world have places they . . . lived, studied, trained and taught the next generation of Witches? Before Drauchir has a chance to reply, Brielle says, The Praxeum is a place like that, only for Jedi."
Finishing addressing the problem in one system, Brielle consults the diagrams related to the next, gathering what she needs to make those repairs as she tries to explain what Jedi are in a way that ideally makes sense to Drauchir, "Jedi are, well, a bit like the Faradrim actually, only we, well they, I'm not yet a Jedi myself, only an Initiate in the Order, anyway, we don't get paid to fight Dark Sorcerers or the Monsters they sometimes create here as they did on your world, we . . . . backing up for a moment, she explains, The Dark Sorcerers here, while they go by many names, like the Sith, or, well it might be easiest for now just to say simply Dark Siders, pausing and looking back at the diagram she had consulted earlier and sighing as she undoes what she just did as it was done incorrectly, Brielle starts to make the repair correctly as she explains, The Magicks on your world sound a bit like the Force here, and just as I imagine there was a Dark and a Light Side to the magicks on your world, there is a Light and a Dark Side of the Force, pausing to ask, Did the Witches use only Light Magicks? Going on without waiting for an answer again, Brielle explains, The Jedi use, crinkling her nose again she says, well, actually use is not always the way we think of it, some of us view it more as working with the Light Side than using it per se, then shakes her head, wondering how much sense she is making even as she forges ahead, Anyway, the Dark Sorcerers here use the Dark Side of the Force for their own usually foul purposes, some even, as I said using their knowledge of things like Sith Alchemy to create Monsters, and the Jedi stand against them, protecting the innocent and defending freedom and so on. Nodding as she finishes her repair of the second system needing repair, Brielle mops some sweat from her brow and, checking the diagram showing how to reroute the power from what she assumes are non-essential systems to give the ship enough power to get the ship in the air, at least in atmosphere, telling Drauchir, That is an oversimplification, of course, the Jedi do other things as well, like help local law enforcement agencies investigate crimes and apprehend criminals."
Moving to the system she will be rerouting after grabbing a hydrospanner, a servodriver and a mechtorch, Brielle explains, "The Jedi also train to be healers, pilots, archivists, archaeologits, and other things, but overall are dedicated to fighting against those who use the Dark Side of the Force for nefarious purposes, then pulls on a pair of welding goggles as she asks in a far less than certain tone suggesting a lack of confidence in her telling rather than in Drauchir's ability to follow it, Did that make any sense at all?"

Drauchir did his best to follow after Brielle as she went about the repair works, listening as she spoke about the Jedi Praxeum and the Jedi themselves. He tried to make himself useful as she stumbled through her explanation, trying to provide additional context where and when she remembered to. It was about as good an explanation as he probably would have given when tying to explain anything from his own home lands. Runya just sat about in her seat, displaying the technical documentation that Brielle needed, whilst doing her own research off of the holonet. Drauchir spared a quick glance to the Witch Ghost, still quite oblivious to what it was she was doing, before returning his focus to Brielle Mostly... It's a lot to try wrap my head around. Things were a lot simpler where I came from, we didn't have all of this... Seems your... Jedi are something of a combination of my order and that of the Witches... He checked back once more, waiting to see if Runya would correct him, but she said nothing for the time being As to your earlier question about Magick... I'm far from an expert, but typically yes, the Witches and Wizards of the Council of Fate used Sun, or to use your term, Light Magick. Though... Certain exemptions have occurred... It was not his place to recount specific examples of these exemptions, especially since they primarily related to Runya. It was up to her Ghost to decide if and when such stories should be told. But they were almost always last resorts or times of great need when he coerced her into using them. Truth be told, he was always the reason she had strayed from the path. But he was also pretty certain she did not regret any of them Moon Magick, or Dark Magick, was outlawed and prohibited by the Council, and thus most Nations. Those that delved into and practiced it were disavowed as Sorcerers and sentenced to Death. They were good paying contracts...
:: Hey, do you remember Bragi Eyvindr? :: He turned his head toward the Ghost of Runya as she called out from her seat. It had been some time since he heard that name The Skald? Yes, I remember him quite well... Always seemed to show up where trouble was, and almost always needed to be rescued from it... Why?
:: I think I've found him... ::
What do you mean, you've found him? You said yourself, Our... world was destroyed...
:: He wasn't there... Hasn't been in some time. Here... :: Her form disappeared from the chair and appeared further back in the cockpit, limited by the range of the projectors. An image of a book appeared in her hand with the back cover opened to reveal a persons face :: This is Bragi, right? :: Drau moved closer to Runya and inspected the picture, recognition already alive and well. He daren't question what magic or trickery she was using, certain the explanation would be something he'd doubtlessly not understand A few years older, but... It does seem a striking resemblance... But that is Bragi.
:: That's what I thought. Seems your famous... :: Runya turned the projected book around, revealing the cover which read "Defender of the Night, by P.T. Brostir" :: I always suspected he wasn't from our world... It would appear after he disappeared he returned to his own world and wrote about your adventures. Certainly some creative liberties taken here and there, but still mostly true to my recollection of events... :: He stared at the cover hard and long, trying to process this revelation. He'd always suspected Bragi had gotten himself into trouble from which he could not get out of. But this? well it was beyond Drauchir's wildest imagination But how did he...
:: Leave? Well it seems he used this ship to come and go from our world. There is a system on here which would have made it invisible. It's why we didn't detect him. After he got back to this galaxy, it seems he sold this ship off to some group known as the Pyke Syndicate. Probably forgot to wipe the navigation data... That's probably how they found you and Eryn... Drau... I... :: He slammed his fist into the wall right beside the doorway, anger and annoyance quickly rising as although he did not fully understand most o what Runya was saying, he got the important parts That idiot! Every time...
:: Drau... he couldn't have known... It's not like he intentionally sent them... ::
He never intentionally does anything! It just seems he stumbles himself and everyone around him into danger... So help me, if Eryn... He growled, mostly to himself then, before turning and sliding down with his back against the wall :: Where ever she is, I'm sure she is alive and well... ::

Finished with her welding, Brielle pulls the goggles down so that they hang around her neck as she sits back against a wall while Drauchir explains how what she had told him of the Jedi, the Force and other related matters compares to their counterparts on his world; the experience not unlike looking into a fun-house mirror that alters something as familiar as one's reflection into something almost alien while still retaining enough similarity to be recognizable as a variant of what it reflects, which she imagines is what Drauchir must feel.
Listening to Drauchir and Runya discuss someone called Bragi after Runya brings the name up apropos of nothing that Brielle can put a finger on, Brielle gets another taste for what Drauchir must feel finding himself on an unknown world in an unknown universe; the names and concepts foreign to her even though she can follow along enough to divine a semblance of a picture of what they discuss - someone from this universe apparently having found a way to travel without detection to their world, involving themself in Drauchir and his companions' adventures and then, upon returning to this universe, recounting those events in the form of at least one book purporting to be fictional. Her interests leaning more to the historical and theoretical, Brielle has spent little to no time at all reading fictional works when there are so many other writings - old and new - about the things that interest her and add to her knowledge of the Force and the history of the groups that have formed around it, and is therefore not surprised she has never heard of the book Runya produces an image of; though now that she knows it is not exactly fiction and would offer a glimpse of what life was like on Drauchir's world before it was destroyed, Brielle makes a note of the name of the book and its author so that, time permitting, she might read it when an opportunity presents itself.
Trying to lighten Drauchir's sour mood, Brielle smiles as she lifts the mechtorch as she announces in a somewhat forced cheerful tone, "The repairs have been completed, then stands up and makes her way to the pilot's seat as she adds under her breath, At least I hope so, since she cannot be certain her first attempt playing mechanic has been a successful one until she has the ship go through a pre-flight diagnostic. As she starts running the diagnostic and waits for the results, Brielle asks Runya, Is there any way you could run a holonet search for any recent reports of, she bobbles her head from side to side as she considers what the best search parameters would be for what she has in mind, other ship crashes or maybe search and rescue operations of damaged ships with survivors matching Eyrneth's description?" Having spoken the words aloud, Brielle realizes how broad the search would be and how unlikely it is that it would reveal Eryneth's fate, but figures even long shots occasionally yield results and so mentally crosses her fingers that Runya might come across something promising despite the odds.

His foul mood was oft with him, especially of late given all of the events that happened to him and Eryn. Until they were reunited, he doubted he could find some happiness. But he could at least be a little less grumpy as Brielle declared that her work was done. He pushed himself up off the floor and followed his rescuer back to the control room and stood just behind her seat. Still no more knowledgeable about what any of this was or did than when they had started the repairs. Runya reappeared in the co-pilot seat and considered Brielle's query :: Hmm, that might work... Executing Query... :: Runya's eyes closed over as she focused her processing power upon sorting through all of the reports she could get her hands on. The ship meanwhile ran through its checks, tossing up errors about various systems, some of which had seen their power rerouted. But the ones needed for their atmospheric flight started showing up green. Drau gripped the back of the chair Well, I assume green means we're good? Hey... these... Jedi. You said they were like my Witches right?

Nodding when Runya begins running the search for recent reports of ship crashes or vessels that had transmitted distress signals that had been rescued for any possible descriptions of rescued beings matching Eryneth's description the search might reveal, Brielle studies the reports coming back from the system check she had run after completing her repairs, Brielle crinkles her nose when Drauchir asks if the green indicators on some of the ship's systems means that they are good, telling him in a less than certain or confident tone, "I believe so, yes," and then, after motioning for him to sit in the co-pilot's seat as she starts studying the ship's boards in front of the pilot's seat she is in, starts preparing to take the ship up for what she hopes is an uneventful voyage to the Jedi Praxeum.
"I did, Brielle confirms when Drauchir asks if the Jedi are akin to the Witches on his world, adding, at least from what you told me, explaining, The Jedi are capable of using the Force, which I believe is similar to the Light Magicks the Witches on your world use, not adding that it could, in fact, be the case that the two are one in the same and simply known by different names by the Witches and Jedi. Visibly steadying herself for disaster as she hits a switch to bring the ship's engines online, Brielle closes one eye and squints as she watches the readings on her boards with the other as the ship shudders a bit once the engines roar to life, then relaxes as the ship's shuddering settles into a subtle vibrating and they do not explode. Grinning as she gives Druachir a relieved thumbs up, Brielle says, I think we're in business," then takes the ship up and sets out for the Praxeum.

The projected form of Runya flashed from existence and reappeared in one of the other seats as Brielle motioned for Drauchir to take the so-pilot seat. He stared at the ghost for a moment before slipping into the chair and buckled himself in. For a brief moment he felt like he was back aboard the larger ship with the cavernous space surrounding them and the void filling the view in front. His left hand gripped the edge of the seat tightly and suppressed a groan as the ship took off into the air and he was watching the trees disappear below them That's going to take some getting used to... The advent of flight technology had barely begun upon his world. Hot air balloons had been the domain of universities and extremely wealthy individuals. But they were so few and far between that must people still travelled by horse and cart. Flying was beyond most people's means or consideration. But Drau got a feeling such was not the same here as he watched the landscape pass by

Brielle smiles as Druachir says it will take time to get used to flying, telling him, "Well, unless you plan on staying on Ossus, I imagine you'll have to get used to it, then purses her lips as she says, And if you're not intending to stay you'll have to learn to do this yourself, shrugging as she adds an alternative, or look into getting a pilot droid to handle the flying for you."
Looking over at Drauchir, she arches an eyebrow questioningly as she asks, "Do you want to learn a bit about flying now? I can show you a few things on the way to the Praxeum, then explains, I can even walk you through how to use the auto-pilot to land when the time comes, if you'd like? Smiling reassuringly, Brielle says teasingly to try and get him to relax, I'll be right here, so you won't have to worry about another crash landing, I promise."
As she waits for Drauchir to consider the offer, Brielle remembers she will have to do something about getting her own ship to the Praxeum and so takes out her datapad, alternating between keeping an eye on her boards and adjusting their path as needed while she uses the slave circuit she had set up on her A-wing to have it lift off and start following them.

His grip with his left hand remained tightly upon the chair as the outside world passed by, while Brielle seemed to very casually talk about flying one of this ships of the stars. He stared across the panels and controls in front of him, before raising an eyebrow at her next comment A droid? Is that some fancy word for a person who flies theses... ships? It was her offer to teach him that truly caught him off guard. His gaze regarding everything again before shaking his head. Runya was right, she'd once said it was hard to teach an old wolf new tricks, and this was by far the newest of them all No... No that won't be necessary. A problem for another time, perhaps... He would get used to the concept of flight, but it was not really his thing, by any means. Staying on this Ossus place forever was definitely not in the cards, not unless Eryn turned out to also be here. But that was unlikely, so he would have to sail across the stars again. Though how he would manage that, would be a matter to consult Runya about. There was a lot that needed to be done and settled. He just needed to tackle it one problem at a time

Curious specimens, droids. You trust them too much, refuse to do regular memory wipes, and suddenly, you find yourself having been flown to a location that you were not intending to be. At least, that's the situation Voo found himself in. The Force forbid he take a nap. The lanky, aged, yet surprisingly fit former Jedi Master was most displeased when he awoke. For he knew something was amiss.
"Disss... is not tha place I am supozzed to be..." "R5!!!" "Vat... did you do...?"
The former Jedi Master entered the cockpit of his transport with an exasperated dominance. As far as he was concerned he had no time for this nonsense. He quickly pulled up his navigations, sighed, and turned around to his droid.
"Ve are in de middle of nowhere... on Ossus! How did you even land? Did you ask for de clearance?? Ohhh... vhy do I even ask... Come now. Follow me. Ve must go out of de ship now because you can SOMEHOW land me here... but also SOMEHOW be causin wesa have NO fuel! YOUSSA-"
In his frustration, the former Master nearly fell entirely into his native dialect. But he caught himself, and paused, and collected himself with a deep sigh.
"Ve vill talk about dis later. Come now."
They exited the ship.
