Compared to the training she had received at Kiru's hands, the training that Zion, Amber, Tiggy, and Zacaiah received was far lighter. But then, they did not need anything near as extensive as she had. When she had been locked up here, escape was not an option. Thus Kiru had taught her how to survive here. But the others only needed to be taught how to make this plan succeed and then escape. Something now possible thanks to Zion's presence within The Grid. Her thoughts were turned back to the present, as she heard his voice over the commlink bud she was wearing. She turned to Amber, who gave her a nod. Ayora then turned her attention back to the controls, checking they were in position We're ready up here and in position. Just give us the word!

=Kiru= I'm ready to go.
=Tiggy= This cat is ready to fly!
=Zacaiah Traevis= Prepared to drop!
=Zion Morviael= Copy that! Take us in! Zion steadied himself, as he felt the ship angle down. Diving down through the clouds, straight for the door. Amber powered up the weapons and started firing upon the defending craft. The bay door opened then, allowing the air and sound of the battle to rush in. Craft were exploding and going down, while shots exploded in the air, mere inches from their craft. Zion moved to the edge first. He peered down over the edge, to the empty sky below. Yellow and Black lit craft zoomed about through the air. Below them, was the landing pad leading to the front doors of the building. He turned around and looked at everyone in the hold with him.
He trusted each and every one of them with his life, just as they trusted him with their lives. It was then, that he noticed the sombre expressions on each of their faces. And something hit him in that moment. A realization. That they were merely copying and following his own lead. He had been so busy worrying about everyone, that he had given himself less and less time to enjoy all of the good times they had spent together. For all the danger and trouble they'd been through, they had share many more good adventures. He had found a new family, after so many years of being alone. He grinned at them then. Drawing confused looks from everyone =Zion Morviael= Let's go! He turned around, just as a gust of wind whipped the hood from his head. He spread his arms out wide, took a deep breath. And then jumped off the edge. The wind rushed through his hair as he fell. His cloak flapping about. He closed his eyes, as the others jumped from the plane. He felt at peace. His eyes shot open then, as he clenched his fist. Channelling his thoughts into the ring, focusing upon making a jetpack. The ring flashed with a white light, before an object shaped like a jetpack appeared on his back. But it did not activate. Zion waited until he was mere feet away from hitting the pad, when he flipped to face his feet downward, and the boosters activated. Bringing him to a crouched landing.
Kiru, Tiggy, and Zacaiah landed behind him a few moments later. He then aimed the tip of his jetpack at the doors, firing the small rocket at them. The others meanwhile, were getting to their feet and arming themselves with guns to take care of the guards on the pad and then the ones that stumbled out of the now exploded doorway. The jetpack disappeared, as he then rose to his feet and charged forward. His hidden blades extending as he engaged the guards. hooking onto one guy, as he thrust the blade into another guy. He then pulled the guard he was hooked onto, between himself and another guard that tried shooting at him. Kiru finally caught up, as he finished rushing through the guards to the entrance =Zion Morviael= Are you ready?
=Kiru= Absolutely... Let's end this nightmare! He nodded, before rushing through the breach with Kiru. Tiggy and Zacaiah followed close behind. Before setting up to blockade any reinforcements that might try and get in. With their backs covered, Zion followed as Kiru lead the way over to a door. She touched her ring to the lock, before it opened, revealing a flight of stairs. He kept close behind, as they went down a couple floors, before coming to a new landing. As the door opened, they came out onto a walkway, which was connected to a central platform. Several walkways branched off from the central platform, serving both as walkways and supports. Extending down from the central platform, was what looked like a giant data pylon. At the base of which, was another platform, with a bunch of control panels. Kiru pointed down at the lower platform then =Kiru= We have to get down there. And we can't miss it! Kiru then pointed to the yawning black abyss below it then Otherwise we'll be deleted and die...
=Zion Morviael= Of course... Well, hold on! Zion did not leave her much chance to respond, before grabbing her around her waist with one arm, and hoisted her off the ground a little. He ran towards the platform then, and leapt over the side railing. Sending them through the air towards the pillar. His hook blade extending out and managing to hook into it as they whacked into it. But there was no time to rest, because the moment the hook latched into the pylon, they continued to fall. Albeit at a much slower rate than before. When they were at a safe distance to drop, he let go of Kiru first, before levering the hook free of the pylon.
They both free fell a couple feet, before landing safely on the platform with a clunk. Kiru was already on her feet and getting to work accessing the system. Until she was ready, he had only to examine the machine before him. He slowly circled the platform, before coming to a stop at a number of screens showing the fight outside. Tiggy and Zacaiah were managing to hold off guards at the door fairly well. But another screen showed more reinforcements in coming. He turned to look at another one, just as it showed Ayora's plane taking several hits =Amber Caird= We've been hit! we're going down! He could do nothing, but watch helplessly as it looked like Ayora was able to guide the crashing plane down onto the landing pad. Crushing the guards that were trying to get into the building. The front of the craft started to disintegrate, throwing Ayora and Amber through the air at Tiggy and Zacaiah. Zion rushed back around to where Kiru was still busy typing away, entering the last of the commands =Zion Morviael= Are you ready? It's not looking good topside...
=Kiru= Almost there... and.... done! Place your ring on that spot now! He looked at where she was pointing, before pressing his ring onto the small sensor type pad. Kiru did the same thing. Both pads lit up and displayed the logo that matched the ones on their rings. A loud alert noise went out then =SYSTEM= Command override accepted. Restoring all system accesses. Teleport network online... Kiru thrust her hand into the air then, causing four pillars of light to appear on the platform around them. Amber, Tiggy, Zacaiah, and Ayora appeared as the lights receded =Zion Morviael= Everyone alright?
=Amber Caird= Just some bumps and bruises...
=Tiggy= Nothing too serious.
=Zion Morviael= Good...
=SYSTEM= Beginning log out, for users: Zion Morviael, Amber Caird, Tigress, Zacaiah Traevis, and Ayora Truesong. Countdown till base self destruct, set for ten minutes...
=Zion Morviael= What? No, that's not long enough! Kiru! He turned to look at Kiru then. As he did so though, he knew she had planned this. She was not in the least bit concerned by the time read out, as it started to count down. She had been planning this all along. But for what reason. He stopped, and did his best to calm himself =Zion Morviael= Why?
=Kiru= Because we cannot escape.
=Zion Morviael= But the log out...
=Kiru= It won't work on us. Even with our two rings. There is no physical way for us to escape... We're not people... Just artificial copies of people who once lived long ago...
=Zion Morviael= You planned this... right from the start. Didn't you? From the moment you saw my ring...
=Kiru= I did...
=Zion Morviael= You needed the two rings to activate the self destruct sequence, because it would not respond to just one...
=Kiru= Exactly. The system has safe guards, like anything. It is the only way for us all to be free... free of this torment... free of the Cinn Ion. And to make sure none of this falls into their hands and is used against anyone...
=Zion Morviael= And you waited till now to tell us?
=Kiru= Don't be so naive Zion. You would never have agreed to help, if you knew that this was the final result. You could have tried to come up with some hair brained scheme to try and "save" us all... But we don't need saving. We lost our battle, and that is ok. So yes, I lied to you. I made you believe everyone would get out, safe and sound. Not that it was not the truth. You will all be logged out, and if you head straight for your ship and take off, you will make it out safe and sound...

Ayora had been shooting at guards when a pillar of light formed around her. And the next thing she knew, she was dropping a short distance on to a platform. Ayora took a moment to gather her bearings as she realised they had all been teleported down to where Zion and Kiru had gone. She brushed herself off as she stood up and Zion asked how everyone was "Rather pleasant, all things considered..." And then the system message played. Detailing a log out for Zion, Amber, Tiggy, Zacaiah and herself along with a self destruct timer. She looked to Zion and Kiru then, as the two started to argue. Kiru maintained her composure and calmly answered Zion's concerned questions. Questions which she wanted answers to as well. Though, the answers Kiru gave, were not the ones she wanted to hear.
She could barely believe what she was hearing. Kiru and all the others were just AI copies. How was that even possible? They had all seemed so real. They had expressed emotions. She had seen them cry and cower in fear. And Kiru expected her to believe they weren't people? No. This was just her friends way of trying to convince everyone that it was ok for the others to leave without a regret. Ayora moved over to Kiru's side, hugging her friend close as she buried her face into Kiru's shoulder "No! You don't get to do this! You can't just kill all of those people! We can save you! We can log out and destroy all of the machines! You don't have to die! Don't leave me! You're the only family I've got left..."
