As i knew it would take a moment for Pixar to grab the box and pull reaver away from the controls, I thought this time would allow me to give Kronos some instruction.“ Now before we begin Merin, there are a few things you need to bear in mind. the first of which is the Merchant’s code. While i encourage you to develop your own means of finance should you desire instead of being a slave to the Whims of the council… i will not enforce it as theology. That said, the Merchant’s code is extremely important. In the field we enter, we must treat what we are doing as merchants. That means understanding that the most valuable resource we have is our integrity. whether in Charity or in business if you present a client with a crystal that you would not sell to a jeweler to be used in jewelry for the highest of regality… then you ruin your reputation.” I paused, watching to see that Kronos understood my first point before i continue.“ next, i would believe you wonder as to why i do not refer to you by your given name. This relates to my first point. Because i am a man of business and earn my own salary, of which i donate to the jedi order, unless i am on a mission from the council, and especially when i am on a seekers quest, what we embark upon now, I travel under a name based on my Instramtan heritage. It is a complicated issue to explain to one that knows little about the full culture, but it dates back millennia when my people refused to associate with others in the galaxy and were self-sufficient in all their needs. when a member needed to be a wanderer and leave the planet for one reason or the other, they were assigned a name by which they would be known to the rest of the galaxy. the names began usually with the first letters of their first and last name but so there was no confusion, if there was someone known with that name, letters would be added. It was so bad that my Grand father, the last Instramtan prince to maintain this tradition in its original meaning, was trained by a man named ‘Arikalutemodorishimeiku’. following this tradition, my name in this tradition is ‘Techi’.” As i finished Pixar and the new droid came down. i nodded, and Pixar ‘shed his skin’ so that instead of looking like the man that had awoken Kronos hour before, he reverted to his metallic form.“ Ah, just in time. Merin, these our the two other ‘tangible’ members of the current crew. the Droid that just removed its hologramitcal skin, is my assistant and Confidant, Pixar. his original programming was as a EG-5 J-H droid… however reprograming him, installing a new head as well as subnormal holoemitters has allowed him to be the assistant i need when i am doing work that requires my entire mindset… and the one next to him will be your assistant. his identification is 4E-4V34, and he was constructed from parts on Vassek-III. in fact, part of his programing is the capability as a pilot. I will allow you to choose whichever common designation you wish.” Pixar stepped forward, and placed the case in front of Kronos. inside were an assortment of gadgets. there was a blue Datapad, a set of EarPods and a black wrist band with only a single button. (a nike fuel band SE without the dot matrix display.)“ only one of those things is compulsory, the data pad may be a few years behind, but i modified it for you, it has access to every bit of research on crystals i could get my hands upon, as well as sensor array to detect any sort of vein of crystals, as well as to ascertain the quality of crystal that you have retrieved. the other bits are part of a project into the field of Technopathy… or electronic telepathy. using a combination of electrical sensing, and sonics, i have been able transmit my thoughts unfiltered from my head to another person. what you have is my first beta stage prototype for a model that does not require surgery to place the hardware below the surface of the skull…. it is just a project i have been working on recently… attempting to find ways to communicate to keep people off balance in case of emergency.”

*Kronos listened as Master Tuhlute explained the merchant's code, and nodded in understanding.* "In other words do not use mediocre or subpar materials and never give a product that is lesser than the highest quality. I understand."
*And finally Kronos was told about his name. In reality, he would have asked now if Techi hadn't explained it to him. It was a part of his heritage. If Kronos surmised correctly, this meant that Techi had accepted him.* "So I should call you Techi from now on?" *Kronos wanted to make no mistakes with regards to manners and protocol.*
*Kronos was only slightly surprised when the man that had waken him appeared in the room. The droid, however, wasn't expected. What really surprised him was when the man flickered and the hologramitcal disappeared revealing a droid beneath. Pixar placed a case in front of Kronos, which he opened as Techi explained what was in it. All of that equipment and a droid - Kronos was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the gifts as he hadn't expected them. "I...I thank you. I didn't expect any of this."
*Kronos turned to the droid, thinking of what he could call him.* "4E-4V34, I give you the designation Reaver, if that will suffice."
"Of course Master Merin" the droid responded formally.
*Kronos smiled.* " Merin will be fine. Pixar, Reaver, I look forward to working with the both of you." *Kronos turned to face Techi.* "Shall we continue with our mission?"

* I nodded in approval that Merin got my point so easily. then again, this was not a curve ball. but when he asked if he should refer to me as ‘Techi’ at all times, I closed my eyes for just a moment the slightest bit frustrated.* “ Not necessarily from now on. when we are on specific missions undertaken for the purpose of collecting crystals and other missions assigned to us by the Jedi Technical Enclave and Creative Hierarchy… J-Tech for short. the places we will be visiting, and the contacts i have in these missions, …I won’t say that they are anti-jedi… but they know me as Techi, not as Diamonte Tuhlute.” * i paused to sip my coffee before continuing* “ I knew you wouldn’t… why the biggest of these tools i present you with will not be presented to you until i deem you ready.” * a knowing smile and a twinkle in my eye. i nodded to the two droids and they went to nearby seats and strapped in.*“ But young Merin… all 4 of the crew members are here… though i suppose if Pixar and Reaver did their jobs all i would have to say is “Gordon, Engage Warp drive” and tell you to make sure you are sitting…” * as i finished saying my command to the AI who was presently unknown to Merin the Ship Lurched from normal space to Warp towards the first world. … during the route several lessons would be had regarding other aspects Merin was curious about, including the identity of the AI gordon, other individuals who had been honored with Instramtan names used as nicknames, other aspects of instramtan culture, and when i was able to pull him away from auxiliary topics, important topics such as understanding how these new tools Merin had worked, and how unique crystals formed… with an emphasis on the Sedimentary Crystallization that was found in the Permafrost crystal of Hoth. It would be a long 8 days*

*Kronos nodded in understanding as he understood reasons for calling Master Tuhlute Techi. Propriety would still need to be had under normal circumstances. Kronos noticed the frustrated look on the Master's face, but chose not to acknowledge. It would be better to show Master Tuhlute that he understood by his actions. After all, they had a lot of work to do.*
*There was another gift as well. Kronos wondered what it was, but didn't ask. He would find out in time. Kronos wasn't greedy by any means, but the gifts that Master Tuhlute had given him were necessary to what he planned to do in his future. The idea of another tool further solidified his drive to do as well as he could. As the two droids strapped themselves in, Kronos followed suit. It was just in time too, because Master Tuhlute gave the command to Gordon to enter hyperspace. Gordon? Who was Gordon? Probably the pilot. Kronos mentally shrugged it off. He would meet Gordon when the time was ready.*
*Kronos faced Master Tuhlute. He pulled out the datapad and turned it on. He wasn't sure if he would need it yet, but he would have it ready just in case. He looked up their first destination "Hoth" and had it up in case he needed to review something about permafrost crystals.* "I assume we have a lot of work to do. What is it that we should start on, Master Tuhlute?" *Kronos asked the question with politeness. He wasn't sure if he should be studying on his own or if the Jedi Artisan had some to teach him.*

The Draenor dropped froth from hyperspace as it continued its rounds to the various Jedi Temples to drop off the new garrisons that would either be aiding thhe existing Temple's defences, or making up the Temple's new defences. Once the Lucrehulk was in a steady orbit, The Shadowmoon departed from the hangar bay and began its descent towards the Yavin IV temple, whilst also transmitting clearance codes given to them by Master Rawkill

A small transport vessel breaks out of hyperspace in Yavin IV orbit. Inside, a single person, and a small, tailless cat. The man piloting the ship knew this orbital space well, and wasted no time making a beeline for the surface of the planet.
The last time he saw this space, it was simply beautiful. Now, it bore the scars of a heavy siege from the Mandalorians. This was the reason the man was here, this was the beginning of a spiral downward, and out of control. He was here now to chase down those demons, and bury them in the soil in which they had originally sprung.

A small craft breaks from hyperspace and lingers in the cold space of Yavin IV's orbit. Cloaked from sensors and sight, the occupant contemplates the view and the meaning it held for not only him, but for the souls he'd scornfully taken on the planets surface many a decade ago. His reminiscence was brief, the ship tilting in full cloak and descending into the atmosphere as he tore his mind away from the only name that screamed to him from his subconscious.
Hatred, anger and death hung over him in his memory of this place. None of which he cared to confront or put to rest. His purpose here was not for the lost. Nor would it ever be.

The silver J-type star skiff dropped out of hyperspace, baring its name, "Diadim" proudly. After sweeping for any orbital stations, the ship drifted toward the moon's surface and an Abandoned temple. The Jedi on board felt the collection of familiar force energies rising from there. Perhaps, if she was lucky, She'd find the man she was looking for.

Whilst the Yavin Station had been stabilized and maintained it's position in orbit, the fixes to it had been purely temporary, and so it was, without a chance for anyone to do anything about it, that a large explosion ripped through a section of the Station, causing the stabilizers to fail. Within minutes, the moons gravity pull had latched it's claws upon the giant metal projectile, and pulled it down towards the surface, creating a flaming streak across the sky as the surface heated upon reentry, before cooling again as it entered the atmosphere, flying across the treetops, before finally crashing to the ground in a conveniently place clearing. All in all, the station managed to hold itself together well, creating, in essence, a relatively intact version of itself upon the ground, but never again would it grace the space around Yavin IV again

A silver J-type star skiff lifted into Yavin 4's atmosphere and pointed her nose toward another planetary system.
Raven turned toward Adieumus and shook her head.
I'm not married to you. I suspect you'll give me a lot less trouble than you ever gave Ice.
She hesitated, apology sweeping across her face at the potential harm her statement might cause the fallen Jedi. It wasn't meant to injure. But Raven did tend to go into situations underestimating their difficulty. It still baffled her some times to learn that some people actually didn't want to live better lives, and that some people actually didn't want help with their problems. Some people just enjoyed their dark misery and it was those people who confounded the Jedi absolutely.
Adi's question concerning Anna dropped Raven's expression to a contemplative frown, bringing her voice down with it.
I saw her too, just before I reached for your bacta tank, not but two hours ago...
She shook her head, eyes closed as she continued.
I'm sorry Adi, but- I'm not even sure Anna is alive anymore. Two years ago, we followed a distress call and some tips from other Jedi about her location.
She became silent for a moment, almost shaken by her future words.
We found her on Dagobah- on the edges of a ruined fortress, so mutilated and disfigured, we could only tell who she was through the force- and even that was difficult.
Raven closed her eyes and shuttered visibly at the memory before continuing. Uh, we put her in stasis, sent her to Yavin's medical facilities actually. Felucia was out of the questions for her own personal reasons. Then the war broke out, the academy was attacked. Anna was no where to be found. I searched myself after the conflict, then continued searching. Part of my time away was spent attempting to track her down. I'd let her go until a few hours ago- but knowing her, we might have just saw after images through the force...I honestly do not know. I'm sorry Adi. I know you were fond of her.
She shook her head and shrugged her shoulders, not in a callus motion, but really to shake herself out of the stress. It had taken months for her to accept Anna's very probable death, but now- she wasn't sure. There was once a time the Jedi master thought the child immortal, like so many others she knew. But, perhaps not.
She looked over to Adieumus now, watching for his reaction, and saddened she had to be the one to tell him.

So, someone else he was quite attached to had been caught up in the Yavin IV siege, and was now lost, and feared dead. Someone else he had failed to protect....The list just kept on growing longer each day.
But...in the nightmare, Anna had felt entirely too real to be dead. She had been in Adi's head before...he knew the feel of her aura, and that is exactly what he had been feeling when she had appeared in his mind. There was a colder edge to it, but there was the same tinge in Matango's own force presence now as well...all of that could be explained. There was no way she was gone from this physical realm. The image of her had been entirely too real.
"She's not gone, Raven...She's merely missing. If she touched my mind AND yours....she's out there, and she's trying to reach out to us. The nightmare I had in the tank? It was the exact memory of the day that I was nearly killed by Manda'lor Intalbo. I've had the dream dozens of times...I know it well. That was the first time she appeared to me, and I don't believe it to be coincidence."
He watched as the stars turned into long, trailing streaks of white in the viewports as they started into hyperspace, and breathed a sigh of relief to be leaving Yavin IV. So much had transpired....so many unexpected twists, that Adieumus wasn't sure which end was really up anymore. Lookign around, he noticed MICRO was in power save mode, 'napping' in one of the rear jump seats. When not 'active' as an observation platform, the programming went into 'cat' mode, causing the small droid to act as any other cat in the universe would....Sleeping as much as they could, and recharging. As Adi's eyes fell on the cat droid, his expression lightened up a little bit. Droid or no, the cat was a companion that Adi would most certainly not want to live without anymore. Scratching his chin, he continued.
"She's out there. We can find her...Together."
The words came out of his mouth before he even had a chance to realize what he was saying. There he went again, shooting his mouth off before thinking things through. It wasn't like he had the contacts he used to with LAN, or even the Jedi, to rely on to put eyes out in the universe. Still, the Force had seen fit to bring Raven, quite literally, knocking at his door. Again, this was no coincidence....it was fated to happen. The message was loud and clear....They had to find Anna, and bring her back home.

No sooner had the ship entered orbit did the ship make a swift jump to hyperspace. If they were going to reach Vandelhelm in a timely fashion there was no time to waste.

A rather battered looking YV-100, heavily modified, shuddered its way out of hyperspace. The High Maintenance was yet again living up to its name as it dropped well shy of its target. Instead of the normal half hour, it would take nearly three hours to reach the surface of the planet. On the other hand, the ship was still in one piece.A few moments later the intercom on the ship crackled to life.
-Z'har Ladies & germs, this is your captain speaking. We are coming in toward the moon now. Anyone wanting to use the bathroom before leaving the ship should do so in the next, oh .... three hours. Thank you.

While they weren't nearly what they once were, the long-range sensors of Yavin IV's Jedi Praxeum were still able to detect the telltale release of radiation that usually accompanied a hyperspace re-entry. Given the distance of the interloping vessel and the damage done by the Mandalorian attack, hailing the freighter took far, far longer than it ordinarily would have for a base as advanced as Jedi Master Dav Man'sell had made it.
That was not to say, however, that it took long.
We have you on our scopes now, said the ATC controller, identify yourself and your cargo immediately.

The young man was rather confused for a second. From the reports the base here was supposed to be abandoned. Something was very fishy. Making his way across the cluttered tangle that was the bridge, Z'har managed to reach the comm station. A few minutes later he managed to get the broadcaster working again, if not the beam transmission unit.
-Z'har Uhhhh, this is the High Maintenance. ... Who the devil are you if you don't mind me asking? The planet is supposed to be uninhabited.

A fair enough request, the voice said, its tone far removed from friendliness, we're just the people that will blast you to dust if you continue on your current course. Repeat; identify yourself and your cargo.

There was a small, quiet knock on the door leading to the freighter's cockpit. On the other side, a woman's voice piped up. "Excuse me, captain, but if you're having trouble getting clearance, there's someone on the surface that's waiting for me."

This was quickly losing its fun. It was supposed to be a routine run & now he was being threatened with destruction. Who on earth would shot down a ship that looked like it might blow up on its own, anyway?
-Z'har Now listen here, grumpy pants, I already identified myself & my cargo. There is no reason to go around threatening young, virile men with a boat full of Foxy Jedi by waving around your oversized space cannons just because you need to compensate for something.
