Ander cocked an eyebrow as Alexis grabbed at his hand. She was tough, for a smaller woman, and it showed. He withdrew his hand from her face, lowering it to his side. He turned to keep his gaze on her as she stepped toward the Archive door, running her fingers along the cold metal. His commlink flashed as he was about to answer Alexis' question. He pulled it from his belt and checked it. It was Leftenant Tatham. Ander pulled his helmet over his head briefly to converse in private with the officer. Ander Tagira sir. The Jedi has locked himself in a training room on the second floor. Ander rolled his eyes, then replied casually. Let him stay there then. Keep an eye on him. Once we're done with the Archives, we'll install our overrides into the rest of the Temple systems. Just make sure he doesn't go anywhere, I don't want him causing trouble for himself. Ander pulled his helmet off once more, then offered an explanation to Alexis. "Standard procedure when walking into an unknown. Security first." He took a place beside Alexis not forgetting she had mentioned his Force talents. "I've already discussed that with you. The Force is not something I tamper with any longer, and for good reason. There are perfectly decent alternatives that work just as well." He nodded towards the Archives. "You can get a lot done with a handful of well-trained commandos." He added, with a brief, but noticeable smile.

"I know, but one can always wish things turn out differently," she replied in the same level tone of voice. Ander seemed proud of his fellows, most likely with good reason, "However, there are faster ways to do things sometimes. In many ways the Force is a tool, if I can use it to help others, why should I limit my abilities in what might be an almost crippling manner?" even though she had phrased it as a question, it was something she had spent time meditating upon. At one point in time she had considered a different path to that of the Jedi, it had seemed safer, easier, and definitely more comfortable. Perhaps it was that, that and the knowledge of what it would require of her in turn, that had weighed heavily in her decision-making process.
Things were changing, and no sooner did something seem to being crystallizing into a cohesive nature than it too was whirled off into the darkness as the ghost of a tentative future. Though she was more used to this now than she had been years earlier, it still was occasionally overwhelming in nature. Often she felt that she was not given enough time to consider the ramifications of a specific decision before that opportunity was taken away. She wondered if perhaps the Force was trying to get people to make instinctive choices that were not thought out. She often considered whether or not this was more indicative of responsibility, or irresponsibility.

Outside the sound of shots being fired could be heard... Though no one had the authority access to enter the room to do anything to stop it.
Inside for just a moment tutamantis warm ups were beginning. I started out by covering my hands in my aura and charging the aura inversely to the charge of the shots fired from the cannons in order to draw the energy toward the palm of my hand ... Then I had less than a second to absorb enough of the energy into my aura so that the impact of the bolt upon my palm was minimal.
Then after 50 bolts, the cannons ceased and I took a meditative pose.
::Pixar, am I even right for being here?::
::In the chamber? Or in the temple?::
::you know what I mean...::
::sir, I would state that you could have used the access codes without the virus. You were granted security clearance equal to master Man'sell's. Regardless of the number of guns outside, you have legitimate reason and authority to be here.::
::thanks pixar... Can you create a subroutine to shut off power to the doors should any tampering with my commands to shut power off to the doors here::
:: created and encrypted with headmaster's security... No one will be able to get around it.::
::alright, now give me a challenge. Raise difficulty to level 7::
The cannons began to charge at a much more dangerous level... A direct shot could wound me... Kill me if I was shot in the heart...but I modified my tactics by creating a Coriolis effect to draw the bolts into a spherical shape that I could then absorb energy from, or use as a tactical weapon. Overtime my skills improved an I counted myself as someone that show a tentative mastery over the ability.

Ander leaned against the Archive doors, crossing his arms over his chest. He shrugged his shoulders casually in response. "I didn't say you should. That's only what I choose to do." He pushed away from the wall and gestured to his fellow commandos. "I trained these men and women, with help from others, of course. They didn't all come to us new as a babe." Ander looked to Gunnery Sergent Anfield. "Lee here was with the Yavin Four Defense Force for several years, and CORSEC before that." Ander's brow furrowed suddenly as he questioned his recollection. "CORSEC, right?" Ander asked. Anfield nodded. "Detective Third Grade, Major Crimes Unit," he confirmed. Ander looked back to Alexis. "When we began our training just over two years ago, I had to keep in mind that while I was used to experiencing combat one way, the majority of our commandos were used to experiencing in a completely different way. Rather than force them to adapt to my methods and mentality, it was much easier and more efficient for me to adapt to theirs." Ander gave Alexis' visage a once over. She looked thoughtful, as if lost in her memory and sensual perception. Suddenly, his commlink blinked, and he put his helmet back on. It was Delmani. Right, Archive data downloaded, I already started a complete system wipe. It'll take about an hour to clear all the Archive data, I'm running seven cycles. Ander felt relief wash over him, though he forced himself to remain focused on the task itself. Before he could reply, a text-based update from the Basterd's Hand flashed at the corner of his HUD. He read through it quickly, the information making him grow somewhat nervous. Good work, Del. Wrap things up as quickly as possible. Lock the wipe cycle and get ready to install those overrides throughout the rest of the Temple systems. Council forces just showed up in orbit, they've established communications with Admiral Staton. For a moment, Delmani didn't respond, but Ander waited patiently. Right, cycle locked. What'd the Council show up with? The other man asked. Three Nebula Destroyers and sixty Lancer frigates. Ander replied curtly. Are we expecting any trouble? Delmani inquired. I would hope not, Del. Just in case, we should begin landing operations for the rest of the Brigade. Get me an update from the rest of the Battalion. I want to know what progress has been made at the other Temple locations. Ander told him. Delmani replied with a swift "Affirmative" before the commchannel closed. Ander pulled the helmet off of his head yet again, then looked to Alexis with a small smile. "The area's clear. We're free to enter." He told her. Soon after the words left his lips, the Archive doors opened and Ander caught sight of Delmani just as he was closing down the central terminal display. Ander waved casually to the man and saw the rest of Delmani's Black Operators, Gaunt, Soviet, Hoover, Slag and Tag as they were returning from their security sweep. "Gents, this is Alexis Karidian. Former Padawan to Master Dav Man'Sell." One by one, the commandos nodded their reception of the woman. Delmani pulled the helmet from his head and tucked it under his arm. The face of Jango Fett stared down at her with intense eyes and a hint of sadness in his visage. "Miss Karidian, I'm Delmani Altic. I worked with Master Man'Sell briefly during the Clone Wars, and later here on Yavin Four for some time. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing." The man stiffened suddenly, his free arm at his side, and offered Alexis a slight bow of respect.

*Kaytra gave an affirmative at Ander Tagira orders. She leaned up against the wall and closed her eyes. From where she stood she could her the muffled sounds of blaster fire. She didn't know what he was doing in there, but it made her nervous. Opening her eyes again she pulled the shemagh from her face before turning her attention to her slugthrower. She checked it from top to bottom, even making sure the clip was full twice before deciding it was well enough as is. Turning her attention back down the hallway, she let out a sigh and decided that things might get even weirder before the day was out.*

Making use of a copy of a starnet chip he had acquired from Master Mike Frantz, one of a small handful of people that Master Tuhlute had given the encryption chips to, Master Rawkill opened a secure line down to Diamonte. The Ewok Jedi Master would need the Yavinite's help and co-operation =Jedi Master Rawkill= Come in Master Diamonte Tuhlute. This is Master Rawkill of the Council of First Knowledge. Master Mike Frantz said that I should contact you with regards to any help I needed with Yavin. My forces will be landing soon to secure the Archive data, but first I must ask a favour of you Master Tuhlute. I require access codes for the Yavin Station to secure it remotely...

The Shadow of Truth did a pass of the landing area for the Great Temple, and came back around, its repulsor engines and thrusters maneuvering it elegantly to the surface. The landing gear extended, and the ship's ramp slowly came down. Jakob walked down from the edge of the ramp and looked around. Seeing no one in close proximity, he was a bit confused. He had heard that the Temple had seen an exodus of sorts, and he could sense far less people here than would be normal for a temple of this size. Still, as long as he could find someone who could get him access to the information he needed, he'd be a happy old man.
Jakob was a large man, for his age, but it came with his race. His face was aged more than the rest of him, it seemed, and as was often told; the eyes are the window to the soul. The right person could discern a mix of emotions behind the dark brown eyes. Most of it was exhaustion from a long life of hardship and battle. His robes were slightly tattered in places, his boots dusty, and his beard unkempt.
Jakob's gaze went far and he saw a small group of what appeared to be soldier, who promptly marched towards him. He raised his hands to show he was no threat.
"Who is in charge of this place, at the moment?"

I finished the round at difficulty level 7 with hardly any damage to my person save for a few close calls. I took a moment for mental cool down. Pixar had kept me abreast of the updates, and how even though Ander believed that all coms out of the temple were blocked, my access codes were sufficient to hold one frequency open without alerting Ander to it’s presence.
It was when Rawkill messaged me requesting transmission codes for Yavin Station…
::Pixar, Open a comm link to the source of this transmission, And message my master to send Rawkill the recipe for Male Egg soufflé with extra codeine::
Moments later the beep on my com link that registered that the frequency of the interference waves being used to jam external com calls had been transmuted into a carrier wave and that the transmission i was about to send was encrypted against every Slicer tactic known in the realm of Theoretical communication engineering.
::Open, Encrypted and stable, sir::
::Greetings Master Rawkill
I am sorry, but the Chancery couch that was listed on that site has already been sold to a commander of nobility. if it is any consolation, I might recommend that you look up a friend of mine Kouta Watanabe has an antique Ewok Delicacy cook book that you would be very interested… I hear the Soufflé is unique with the level of Codeine it uses to give it that zest::
With that, I made sure the doors were still on lockdown before I found a corner and attempted to get a couple hours of sleep.

The Togruta had been with the initial landing party, though she split off from the rest of the group almost as soon as they touched ground.
Considering that they were investigating the site of a Mandalorian invasion, her primary function on this mission was to provide medical assistance to who or whatever needed it. Suffice to say, she was just as surprised as everyone else was to find that there was not a bruised or expired body in sight. Nevertheless, she searched the entire temple with a fine-toothed comb, just to make sure. Vinaara Ja was nothing if not diligent. Of course, she ended up paying for said diligence by getting hopelessly lost somewhere in the temple; and, what with the drama that evidently took place wherever Ander Tagira was (at least, in seemed that way, judging from the sporadic messages which were relayed through the comlink), she decided that it would be best to refrain from pestering any of the otherwise occupied personnel.
Several minutes later, two commandos found her aimlessly wandering down one of the corridors bemoaning her cruel fate. Gruffly, the two introduced themselves, but she'd long since forgotten their names. So, needing something to call them by, she mentally dubbed the taller of the two Bob, and the other Sinclair. Bob and Sinclair weren't the friendliest of sorts, but they at least knew where they were going. The walk back took a few more minutes, but eventually she closed in on the group milling in what must be the archives.
Their job complete, Bob and Sinclair bustled over to stand with their fellow soldiers, leaving VJ to pad the rest of the way to the landing party on her own. Among the group of vaguely recognizable faces (give her a break, she hadn't been a member of GALSAF for very long), she noticed an UNrecognizable female that must have joined up with the group while she was lost. Curious, she started playing with one of her lekku as she came to a standstill a little ways away from the gathering. She took a moment to clear her throat before announcing her presence, "Ah, hey there, Boss-man," she greeted Tagira sheepishly. Her characteristically informal words felt somehow invasive, but she pressed on, "I would have made it back sooner, yanno, but I--ah--got a little lost until Bob and Sinclair, there, found me."
She didn't realize her mistake until both of her escorts gave her a strange look. Feeling slightly like a fool, she made quick amends, "Ah, I forgot their names after they told me, yanno, and I needed something to call them by..."
Finally, awkwardly, the Togruta medic fell silent.

Sergent Rian Tet'en Dog Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Brigade Commando Team Main Hangar Bay of the Great Temple Gunnery Sergent Anfield had just left the hangar bay with the Jedi woman Alexis Karidian in tow when another vessel arrived, cleared by GALCOM. Sergent Rian Tet'en and his partner, Sergent Anex Butani walked casually over to the vessel as it landed. A rather muscular humanoid male exited the ship via its landing ramp, his clothes worn and his visage betraying a great level of exhaustion. Tet'en's helmet identified the man as a Shorok, a near-human species from the Unknown Regions. The man held his hands up in a gesture of peace and asked who was in charge. The two commandos pulled the helmets off of their heads and clipped them to their belts. Sergent Tet'en greeted the man with a smile, his hand outstretched."If you're asking who's in charge of the hangar, I guess that's us." Tet'en replied jokingly. "I am Sergent Rian Tet'en, this is Sergent Anex Butani." Rian jerked his head towards the other commando, a human female. The woman nodded pleasantly enough towards the newly arrived man, who looked to be a Jedi of some sort. "We represent the Galactic Security Assistance Force. Currently we're working to secure the Temples on this planet, as well as find out what happened to the Yavin Praxeum Jedi that used to reside here." Rian knew this man had been allowed passage by GALSAF's higher leadership, though he had no idea why. It wasn't much his concern, though he was curious. "If you don't mind me asking, sir, are you a Jedi of the Yavin Praxeum?" Aside from the current happenings within the Jedi Praxeum, GALSAF forces throughout the area were completing their checks of the various Temples, and began sending up status reports whilst reorganizing their forces to accommodate the arrival of the approaching Jedi. 3rd and 4th Battalion were already nearing the planet's surface, angling for the Great Temple and the positions of friendly forces. As they arrived, a variety of armored vehicles and personnel would be deployed to begin setting up a temporary base of operations within the Temple's lower levels. GALSAF's leadership was unsure of what the Jedi had planned, but their mission was to maintain a presence on the world during their investigation. Long term goals were undecided, though the organization had been without an established presence dirt side since its inception, and Yavin had once been a home to many of GALSAF's commandos who had served with the Yavin IV Defense Force.

Jakob raised an eyebrow and lowered the hood of his robe, setting his hands at his sides. He walked further down the ramp and looked around the hangar, trying to feel what had happened here by force of will. It was not going to work, he knew, but there was just that nagging sense of curiosity that begged him to try and find out.
"GALSAF is here? Is that your people up there blockading a Jedi planet?"
Jakob shook his hea, making a tsk sound several times before looking back up at the Sergent.
"No I am not from Yavin. I am not from any Temple, anymore. I came here to request the Jedi use of the Archives, or at least convene with any Masters remaining after the War. It seems they all abandoned the place or were killed, no? Curious, even for Jedi."
Jakob put a gloved hand to his beard and stroked it a few times, thinking about what his next move should be.
"Who writes your checks young man? Can they give me the information I seek? At the very least trying to glean any information from the abandoned buildings would need an extra set of eyes. Even if they are near-sighted. I don't think they would have let me down here without wanting to meet and greet."
Jakob chuckled in his throat, and smiled. Perhaps he might get lucky and be able to smooth talk himself to the Sergent's commanding officer. That's how those army things worked right? He believed the saying was certain excretions never stopped rolling downhill, and most of the time defied gravity and went back uphill.

Sergent Rian Tet'en Dog Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Brigade Commando Team Main Hangar Bay of the Great Temple Sergent Tet'en wrinkled his brow as the other man spoke of blockades and checks. He scratched the back of his head and looked around. "Not a blockade, sir. Just security, is all. Any and all are free to drop in, we had another Jedi show up just before you did. And my commlink's telling me a fleet just arrived." Rian looked over at Butani. The woman frowned slightly, then spoke. "We caught wind of the siege, but by the time we arrived everything was as you see it now: Shut down. All the Jedi are gone and there's no sign of Mandalorian forces anywhere in the system. No one from the Republic was here when we arrived, so we just got to work." Butani shrugged. Rian slapped Butani's chest plate with a gloved hand. "No, there was someone here, that Jedi Diamonte." Rian reached for his commlink and flipped through the display of recent FIPR messages. "He's locked himself in one of the training areas." Rian looked up at the bearded man. "He had someone hacking into the Temple system. Our guys tried to detain him, but he ran." Butani shrugged again, her expression one of indifference. "I would have plugged him, personally." Rian rolled his eyes. "That's always the answer to you, isn't it?" He looked back to the bearded man. "Follow me, I'll get you to the Commander, I'm sure he'll appreciate the help." Rian turned and began head towards the same exit previously used by Alexis Karidian and her escorts. Sergent Butani stayed behind in the hangar with a handful of other commandos. As they walked, Sergent Tet'en updated the man on their progress. "Currently we've got guys pulling the Archive data to check it for errors or malicious software. We'll be doing the same to the Temple systems before reinstalling it all." He looked vaguely up at the ceiling. "We're trying to do the same thing on Yavin Station, but the system's such a mess we can't make any headway. Hopefully we'll be able to figure out what happened here, and then can start making repairs and clearing all the battle damage." Rian stopped as his commlink began flashing again. He pulled his helmet over his head and saw an Alert message flashing in the side of his HUD. Jedi vessels had fired on the Basterd's Hand. "Osik..." Rian muttered. He began running, looking back to the Jedi and speaking through the vocoder of his helmet. Hurry up, mate, I think someone just kriffed up real bad...

Corridor Outside the Temple Archives
Alexis drummed her fingertips on the archive door, uneasy about all of this. Small things were starting to add up in an annoyingly persistent manner. She turned, facing Ander, his escort, and a recently arrived Togrutan medic. "And I would never do that anyway. I made that decision a long time ago on Yavin Station, and I gave my word." She knew that at least two other Jedi were currently within the Temple precincts, and more than that in orbit over the planet. That last bit surprised her. She had not seen it coming. And on one level it was another complication. The presence of the representatives of the High Council could demand her return to Coruscant to stand before the Council of Reassignment. She would do this if necessary, but it would not be easy. Alexis' face smoothed into an inscrutable mask, realizing the blade she was standing on, and in that knowledge finding a calm that arose from within.
Regardless, in a situation in which the parameters were quickly changing, she felt better with her back to the door. This way she would not get shot or stabbed in the back, and when the door opened, she would have advance warning through her connection with the Force. Alexis did not like her position, but one thing Dav always did, was face his enemies. His padawan would do the same, if indeed she turned out to be facing enemies.

"Another Jedi, you say? If he ever decides to come out, he could be a key witness to finding out what happened here."
Jakob could not help but frown. This was definitely odd, but perhaps it could be explained with further investigation. While he was no longer tied to the Jedi, he still respected them as former comrades. He still kept many of the beliefs that had been trained in him since he was a youngling. He felt obligated to help find out what had happened. He would offer his assistance in any way possible--
Rian had put his helmet back on, and started running. It took Jakob a second to register the quick motion. Jakob gave chase. Jakob looked old, but he easily kept up with the Sergent. He concentrated on steady breathing, while also speaking to the Sergent. Things were definitely getting more complicated than he had anticipated. He could only guess they would continue to get more complicated. So was life.
"What is going on, Sergent? Who messed up?"

Ander listened to Alexis' reply with only partial attention. He wasn't sure what the Jedi Council's current standing would be in regards to her fate as a Jedi, but he couldn't help wonder if making her own path wasn't a better option. Then again, Ander had lived his life choosing his own path, and it had taken him to many dark places. He looked to Delmani, who had removed his helmet and offered his condolences to Alexis. Ander stepped passed him and reactivated the master terminal display with the press of a key, checking the progress on their procedure as the Togruta female, Vinaara Ja entered through the Archives door and began rambling on about having gotten lost. A vague smile touched the corner of his lips as he heard Vinaara speak. She hadn't been with GALSAF long, but her medical skills were a boon to the organization and those who benefited from their work. "Looks like this will take some time." Ander muttered. He glanced at the portable storage devices containing the Archive data. "Del, let's get started on scanning this all. If there are any errors or malicious data, we'll have to fix them before the reinstall." Delmani nodded and pulled a large data pad from his gear pack. He plugged the device into the first portable data storage unit and began several scanning programs. The software would take some time to do its work, but likely the job would be finished before the Archive system wipe was completed. Ander unclipped his rifle from his shoulder and set it on the floor against the terminal, then pulled over a nearby chair and sat down, then addressed Alexis. "Our primary goal is to save the Archive data so we can reset the Temple's databanks, wiping out anything malicious the Mandalorians left behind and identify and fix any errors in the databanks storage. For now, it's all compressed into these portable storage units so we can run the same procedures on the data itself before reinstalling it into the databanks." He glanced down at his commlink as it flashed. He had an update from Admiral Staton waiting for his attention. Ander read the message and frowned, then glanced up at Alexis. "Apparently your friends aren't taking too kindly to our presence here. Can't say I blame them," he told her. Ander sat back against the chair and sighed. He should have expected something like this to happen. Security and protocol were GALSAF's first priorities in any operation, but that sometimes led to misinterpretation and tensions between themselves and others. Ander began working on a quick response to Admiral Staton's update when Sergent Rian Tet'en burst through the Archive doors, almost barreling into Alexis in the process. Ander snapped his head over to look at the man, who had a rather wild expression of concern on his face. "Sir, just got word from GALCOM, Jedi forces have fired on the Basterd's Hand." Sergent Tet'en blurted out, just noticing Alexis off to his side. He nodded his apologies to the Jedi woman before stepping aside to let a second individual through the Archive doors. The man was rather muscular and looked to be roughly Ander's age, perhaps a bit older. His clothes were worn and his face bearing subtle signs of emotional wear. As Ander looked the man over while considering this new information, he stood and introduced himself. "I'm Ander Tagira, I run this outfit. If there's anything in specific you're here for, I'm sure we can help you find it." Ander smiled tersely at the muscular man, sure that there was something important brewing beneath the surface of his weathered exterior. Briefly, Ander wondered if the man had had any connection to the recent battle. "Sergent," Ander garned Tet'en's attention as he pulled his helmet back over his head. Find out when the rest of our forces will arrive and make sure we're ready to receive any that the Jedi send down as well. I don't care if they've opted to shoot at us, no one is to return fire unless its life, limb or eyesight. This is a peaceful endeavor, and any oversights that caused this reaction are mine to take responsibility for. The Segent nodded and backed out through the Archive doors, disappearing from sight. He quickly attained the information he needed from the Battalion commander via his helmet commlink, then returned to his post in the main hangar bay. Ander brought Admiral Staton up on his HUD, and spoke briefly to the Mon Calamari. Staton, I trust you can handle the situation in orbit. Get me in on a commchannel with Master Rawkill, I want to talk to him myself. Whatever happens, we are not engaging these Jedi. Once their forces show up on the planet, we'll receive them openly. In the meantime, we'll be continuing our work. Staton replied with a gurgled grunt of sorts, obviously occupied with handling the situation above the moon. Ander reached the various Company Commanders on a group commchannel, requesting updates to their current tasks while he waited to be patched through to the individual representing the Jedi Council. The Palace of the Woolamander and the Blueleaf Cluster Temple had both been cleared, their respective groups of commandos were currently setting up hasty camps outside their structures. The unit sent to the Temple of Exar Kun and found nothing of concern other than a discomforting sense of darker emotions that put pressure on the mind. They left the Temples largely untouched, having found no evidence of a former Mandalorian presences at any of them, aside from the Blueleaf Cluster, in which remained only scant communications and sensory equipment.
As events within the Great Temple were evolving, GALSAF forces began to approach the moon's surface in small waves. Each company was assigned four LAAT gunships to transport its commandos, with three others tasked with the transport of medical equipment and armored vehicles, such as MAT-TE's (Modernized All-Terrain Tactical Enforcers) and MAT-AP's (Modernized All-Terrain Artillery Pods). These forces began initiating landing procedures, deploying each company of commandos alongside their assigned vehicles. Although GALCOM had updated the entire force on the situation in orbit, most of GALSAF's commandos were less concerned with the initiating of hostilities, and more focused on setting up their designated areas of security. What happened in orbit didn't always stay in orbit, but they were each hoping to avoiding unnecessary conflict.

Jakob slowed himself as they ran through the set of doors to the Archives, and stopped. He forced his breathing to slow. No matter what shape he was in, it still took a lot out of him to keep up with the Sergent. He was met by several people, though only one spoke to him. Not having gotten a direct response from the Sergent, he listened to the man speak to who Jakob took as the commanding officer of the GALSAF forces. Jakob was not familiar with their group, and only knew them by name. What made him nervous was that their forces were under attack by Jedi. If the Jedi were attacking, then he should be a bit cautious when dealing with these people.
Bowing slightly in respect."I am Jakob Sartori'na-Mevrain. I came to Yavin in hopes of speaking to the Jedi Masters here about gaining access to the Archives, but they are gone. The information I seek is important to me, and I would appreciate having access to it, if that is possible."
Jakob's tone was calm and collected, but his mind was trying to find ways to talk his way into finding out what was going on here. Jedi were apparently attacking, there were armored soldiers in a Jedi Temple, and he just happened to get here right before the fun started. His timing and luck were getting worse with old age. Well, at least he still could be tactful with his wording.
"The Sergent told me you were simply scanning for errors or enemy software. Why would the Jedi attack simply because of that? I do not know enough about your group to take sides, and I don't honestly care, if I'm being truthful. All that I want is deployment locations and names of Jedi during the War."

She'd just arrived and, already, the situation had deteriorated to the point of potential violence. VJ had to nod at the second stranger's question before adding her own, half-rhetoric two cents' worth, "Yeah, Boss-man, what did you do to make the Jedi so blood-thirsty? I thought they were supposed to be arbiters of peace and all that, yanno?"
She'd been prepared for cleaning up a mess of bodies left behind by the Mandalorians; but she was not prepared to deal with fresh casualties from an impromptu skirmish involving, of all things, Jedi. Thanks to her montrals, she vaguely felt all of them up there in orbit. Each of their Force signatures pressed in at the edges of her awareness like the walls of a trash-compactor. She resisted the urge to shiver at the sudden claustrophobia that threatened to overtake her as a result of the aforementioned sensation. There were way too many of them in orbit for such a seemingly minor matter as this... and, they had already fired on the Basterd. Clearly, the drama she overheard from earlier had been way more significant than she previously thought.

"Your two minutes are up, Ander," Alexis calmly informed him. "Do you intend to restrict my access to the Archives of my own academy? If so, the answers I seek are no longer to be found on this world." And that in itself would demand a trip to Coruscant and explanations to the Jedi at large anyway. Unfortunately, the Jedi Temple there did hold the greatest accumulation of Jedi knowledge over centuries of time as well as records that were duplicated in all the academies. It was the datahub of the Jedi Order. And if things were going wrong for GALSAF in orbit over Yavin IV, that could mean only one thing: the Jedi were out in force, meaning at least one ranking Master.
Even the Togrutan could tell there were Jedi in the area. Alexis glanced over at Jakob Sartori'na-Mevrain as he introduced himself. He was not a Jedi that she was familiar with, not yet anyway, and she had not run across his name in any of the archives before.
Alexis Karidian deftly sidestepped as Sergeant Tet'en barreled through a suddenly open Archive door. She arched an eyebrow inquisitively, "I would suppose the Jedi are antsy because of GALSAF's Commander's role in the Mandalorian Force Jihad. After all, they were sworn to wipe Force-users from the face of the universe. And unless a very great amount of people are wrong, he fought on the attacking side of a Mandalorian offensive against a Sith/Jedi coalition at Kuat."
Dark brown eyes blinked once, as she contemplated both Vinaara and Jakob. "The Jedi do believe in peace, but sometimes there is a peace that only exists on the other side of war. As far as they are aware, they are coming to the aid of whatever remaining Jedi there are within the Yavin Praxeum who ostensibly are reeling from the Mandalorian Jihad and now perhaps their ally, GALSAF."

*The freighter would come in at a slow speed after having entered the atmosphere. The Dragon Hawke soon hovered over the Great Temple entrance as it ramp soon lowered. Crystaall soon got up from her seat and grabbed her pistols and lightsabers, placing them on her utility belt. She slung on her brown robe as she patted the durasteel armor underneath. She nodded at Gregkast and walked to the edge of the ramp and jumped off. It was not a long fall, but Crystaall had to take a knee to steady herself and not break something. She stood up and waved her hand in the air with a single finger. The Hawke's ramp soon closed and fired off in another direction.*
(Gregkast) -I'll keep in touch-
(Crystaall) -Don't expect a fight Kast, Jedi wouldn't attack a former Knight. At least I hope not.-
(Gregkast) -I love your confidence.-
*Crystaall looked at the entrance of the temple and sighed. She quirtly walked in, with her footsteps being one of the few things most could hear within the Temple. She made sure to take her time and eventually found the majority of the people within the Archives. She over-viewed everyone and only smiled at the sight of Ander.*
"I'm hoping I didn't miss all the fun, Commander."

Ander looked at Alexis with an eyebrow cocked. "No, I don't intend on restricting anything. Stop being so suspicious. Look where it's gotten your friends in orbit." Ander jerked his head upwards. "They're making fools of themselves." He drew a second data pad from Delmani's gear pack. This one was somewhat larger, but was rolled up into a cylinder. Ander unfolded it and pressed screen with a light touch. The display began to shimmer as the device activated, and GALSAF's emblem appeared at the center. Ander pressed the screen again and the emblem disappeared, replaced by a text entry that said "Connect Device." Ander set the flat data pad on the master terminal desk, then drew a thin wire with a tab attached to one end and a plug attached to the other. He connected the plug end to one of the portable data storage units, and pressed the tab end to a marked position on the back of the screen. Tapping the "Connect Device" message with a finger, Ander felt the display grow stiff beneath his touch as the material providing the screen's structure hardened. He took the display in hand and offered it to Alexis. "There you go. You can access everything even while it's been scanned." Ander reached for his personal data pad and held it aloft. "And if you want to sift through some of this in private, you can link it to your own 'pad." As Ander turned to address the man introducing himself as Jakob Sartori'na-Mevrain, Alexis said something about a struggle and finding peace on the other side of war. He responded to Jakob's slight bow with one of his own. "We're all equals here, my friend." Ander told him, before replying to the man's words. "If you have a data pad of your own, you can easily link with the storage units we have set up for the Archive data. Obviously it will be easier to navigate once it's been reinstalled and indexed, but unfortunately we got started on that a bit too soon." Ander frowned slightly at his own words, suddenly regretting having shown up on Yavin IV without more support from obviously specific people. Having had no contact with the Yavin Praxeum since Mai had tracked him down less than a year before, he had no knowledge the Jedi had reorganized themselves so specifically. Yavin IV had always maintained autonomy, and no longer being privy to the inner workings of the Jedi Order, Ander had believed that autonomy remained. "Unfortunately, while I'm concerned for my commandos in orbit, the Jedi are not entirely out of line by firing on our vessels. I believe that most of their information regarding this situation is coming from a rather nervous and startled Jedi named Diamonte Tuhlute. We met when I initially arrived a while ago. Everything seemed fine, though I did not know the man, until I overheard some disturbing conversation over his commlink about hacking the Temple systems. We tried questioning him, but we were too brash and intimidating about it. He ended up running off. He's locked himself away in one of the training areas." Ander shrugged his shoulders. "As for deployment data...that shouldn't be too hard." He turned to one of the data storage units and plugged his own data-pad into a connection port. After running a brief search that turned up no results, Ander unplugged the device from the storage unit and tried the next one over. Moments passed in silence before Ander found what he was looking for. Removing the connection cable from the 'pad, Ander held the device out to Jakob. "I think that's a start. It covers deployment assignments at the beginning of the war, just before the Mandalorians attacked this system. There's sure to be more. The Yavin Council was very focused on the organization of information." Ander felt a smile grow on his face as he heard a familiar voice. He looked to the doors and spotted a much welcome sight, Crystaall Sehefadu, of the Jensaarai Order. Ander waved her over, hand outstretched. "Good to see you here, what brought you here, if you don't mind me asking? I hadn't thought to send Garwig word of our arrival."
