*The first thing Raine noticed as she gained consciousness, was the pounding headache, then the cold hard floor beneath her. She forced her eyes open and stared at the metal ceiling above her. Was she still on the ship? Her eyes panned down to the restraints tying her wrists together. She could feel her heart almost stop at the sight, then the realization that she was on a different ship. Frantically and fruitlessly, she fought against the restraints.*
*Movement a short distance off caught her attention. A large Trandoshan and the Zygarrian from earlier were busy pushing a crate up the ships loading ramp. Neither one seemed to have noticed her being awake yet. Slowly and quietly, Raine shuffled behind a crate. She had just pulled herself out of view when another, much heavier set, Zygarrian stepped out of the cockpit and yelled something at the other two in a language she didn't understand. Carefully, she peeked around the crate. There, resting in the waist if the larger Zygarrian, was a set of keys. She knew she couldn't sneak out to grab them, so other means were necessary. Closing her eyes, she lifted her hands and reached out with the force. A hundred things could go wrong, would probably go wrong. Today, however, luck was on her side.*
*The keys slowly relieved themselves of her captors belt and shot straight into her hands. Her excitement was short lived as the Zygarrian straightened and turned in her direction. There she lay, arms clutched to her chest with her knees pulled close her her eyes closed. The Zygarrian scratched his head then shrugged as he headed towards the cockpit. All the while telling the other two to lock her up. Raine cracked her eyes open some just to make sure he was gone. Then she began to use every key on the ring until she finally found the right one. With a soft click, her restraints came undone. Her spirts soared momentarily, only to be brought down by the sound off the ships engines winding up for takeoff, coupled with the cargobay doors closing.*
*She moved to the end of the bay where the doors were at. The control panel was nearby, unfortunately so was the Trandoshan. His Zygarrian companion had gone into the cockpit and closed it. Just leaving Raine alone with the big lizard. She watched him move across the room opposite of her, giving her the time to quietly sneak over to the control panel. There were a lot of buttons, buttons she had no idea as to what they did. There was no time to think it over though, and the best way to figure it out was to actually try. She hit one of the larger buttons in hopes it would open the door. Instead it released the magnetic locks on the cargo, causing it to start sliding around, much to the surprise of both Raine and the Trandoshan. Panicking, she hit another button, this time she was rewarded with the desired outcome.*
*The cargobay doors slid open and a large just of wind almost sucked her out. Raine grabbed the side of the door frame for dear life until she found her footing again. Panic filled her as the ship skimmed the canopy of the forest. They were much higher up then she thought. A roar of anger drew her attention back behind her. The Trandoshan had spotted her, to no one's surprise. What did come as a surprise was the Trando's full on charge. Raine instinctively backed up and almost fell out of the ship. A large reptilian hand grabbed her and lifted her off the ground. He hissed in anger and opened his mouth to speak, but a noise from behind caught both of their attention. One of the crates had broken free and was sliding at them in a hurry. Unfortunately for Raine, the Trando wasn't that quick and she couldn't get away from him.*
*The crate hit the Trando, carrying both him and Raine out of the freighter. Fortunately they weren't to high above the canopy. Raine hit the first branches and reached out instinctively to grab something. The first few branches weren't strong enough to hold her, then she landed on one that did. The impact knocked the wind out of her, but she held firm. The Trandoshan wasn't so lucky, he missed all the branches and hit the ground with a mighty thud. Raine clung to her branch for several minutes, gathering both her breath and courage to climb down. The climb itself took a better part of twenty minutes, but she made it, tired and shaking as she was. She slowly walked over to the crate that pushed them out and leaned against it before slowly sliding to the ground. Things weren't looking good, she was alone and lost in the jungle. Worst part was she didn't even know what direction to even start walking, or if her buir even knew she was gone yet. There was one thing she could say with all seriousness though.* "Worst family trip ever."

Nearly an hour after he had left, Lorcan returns to the Pursuer-class enforcement ship after learning that, as expected, the rumors he had come to investigate are more likely than not unfounded and a waste of his time. Upon questioning, the source of the rumors had proven to be far less than certain of having seen Mandalorians in the jungle, and in Lorcan's opinion had probably merely seen one or more beings in armor of some kind or another and mistakenly assumed it was of Mandalorian origin. Still, the location of the supposed sighting is something that Lorcan supposes he will need to examine at least cursorily for the sake of formality, which will, if nothing else, give Raine the chance to explore she had been asking for.
Reaching the top pf the boarding ramp, Lorcan calls out, Raine! Em! Good news and bad news, so gather around! Tapping his foot as the silence that follows his hail stretches out, Lorcan sighs and shakes his head as he starts heading further into the ship, muttering to himself, They better have just fallen asleep, 'cause if they left the ship I am not going to be happy. Like, at all.

*Nightfall was now descending on the jungle. Hours at past and no sign of help was arriving anytime soon. In that time, Raine had kept her self busy by digging through several of the crates. The reason she had escaped so easily was starting to become clear, these pirates were terrible at their job.* "This stuff is all junk!" *Raine exclaimed as she tossed another fake piece of jewelry into a pile. Almost everything these pirates had found was either fake or junk. Well, mostly junk. She managed to find an A180 sniper rifle, a few charge packs and a survival knife. One crate in particular held quite a bit of food, clothes and assorted other items. She decided this was going to hide out till help arrived.*
*Raine sat in the doorway of the container, chewing on a ration bar and planning her next move. In reality, she was almost to tired to much else other then wanting to sleep. That was hard though in such unfamiliar territory. Eventually, she climbed into the crate and sealed it up.*
*A low guttural rumble woke Raine from her sleep. She opened her eyes to the complete darkness inside the crate. Her hand blindly felt for the small flashlight she found earlier, until finally the dark crate was illuminated with a dim glow. She heard the noise again from outside, this time only louder. Raine held her breath and listened very closely. She knew it was an animal that was making that sound. Whatever it was, it sounded big and hungry. A deafening roared from just outside her crate caused her to cover her ears. Her heart was pounding as she listened to heavy foot steps stop not far away, close to where the dead Trandoshan was by her guess. After several minutes, the sounds of the creature died off as it lumbered deeper into the jungle. Raine huddle deeper in amongst the stuff in her nice safe crate. There was going to be no sleep for the rest of the night, that much was sure.*

Lorcan, continuing further into the ship, spots the body on the floor and unholsters his blaster, regretting having called out to Raine and Em earlier. Using the eye movements and facial tics needed to switch his buy'ce's sensors to life form, heat and motion detection as he begins continuing forward with his blaster held down at his side in a two handed grip, Lorcan only relaxes slightly when only one life form shows up on his HUD, experienced enough to know that tech exists that is able to fool sensor equipment.
Going to the storage area where the lone life form appears on his scanners only after having cleared the rest of the ship and verifying that it is unoccupied save for him and whoever it is hiding in the storage area, Lorcan is relieved when he finds it is Eimhin that is sleeping away inside. His jaw muscles clenching as he absorbs and comes to terms with the knowledge that Raine either escaped after hiding her brother and killing the pirate left behind, or was taken by the pirates, and Lorcan does his best not to think very much about why pirates would take his daughter captive so that he is not impaired by anger, grief, or worry as he tries to find and rescue Raine.
Waking Em gently, Lorcan forces himself to sound calm even though he is impatient to set out, as he calms his son down and informs him that Raine is missing before, his voice going cold and grim despite his best efforts, assuring Em that they will find Raine. Taking time only to retrieve his blaster rifle and a backpack that he quickly refashions into a carrier for his son, Lorcan walks down the boarding ramp with Em on his back and begins looking for signs to use to track the pirates. The displacement in the dirt and foliage near the ship from a speeder are easy enough to spot, and Lorcan, heart sinking as he begins following the trail of the speeder away from his ship, hopes against hope and reason that the pirates are based somewhere in the jungle and were not simply on shore leave when they came across his ship.
Sinking to his knees sometime later, the trail having ended where the impressions of the landing struts of ship the speeder clearly came from can be seen in the dirt and flora, Lorcan voices an inarticulate cry of frustration, grief and rage before slamming his fists impotently into the ground and hanging his head. A moment later, collecting himself for Em's benefit, Lorcan, voice still hoarse, says, We'll find her, verd'ika. Don't you worry.
Standing up and tilting his head back to look up into the night sky and the vast sea of stars above in which his daughter has probably been taken, Lorcan closes his eyes behind his T-visor and tells himself that giving up or giving into hopelessness will not help Raine, or lead him to the chakaar who took her from him. Turning to begin making his way back to his borrowed ship, Lorcan begins planning how to narrow what feels, at the moment, like an impossibly broad field of search.

*Raine woke the next morning both tired and sore. She slept in a very uncomfortable position amongst all the junk. That, combined with the bad dreams of the terrible beast outside, made for a long night. She couldn't remain hidden in the container forever, not if she wanted to get home.*
*The door to the container slowly opened just far enough for Raine to peek out. She scanned the area cautiously before slowly stepping out. Whatever it was from the night before seemed to have left. Her eyes panned over to the dead Trandoshan...well where it used to be. The beast from last night dragged it off into the forest. This made Raine's stomach knot up, unfortunately she had more pressing matters to deal with. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other as the call of nature seemed to grow worse by the minute. Giving one last glance for danger, she darted off into the brush.*
*Feeling a little more relieved, Raine hurried back towards the container. She clutched her rifle tightly and kept a watchful eye out for danger. With a sudden jolt, her senses gave off a warning of danger. Her head snapped in the direction of her container just in time to see something land on it. There, standing on top of the container, was a creature with white fur, four eyes and sharp rows of teeth. Raine's heart almost stopped when she recognized this animal as a nexu. The large predator eyed Raine before hopping down from the container. Now Raine noticed that the beast looked old, with a missing right eye, missing or cracked teeth and fur white as snow. The nexu was thin and sported the remains of what looked like a collar. Even at her age Raine could see the nexus was dying of old age.*
*Something in Raine's mind told her to move, she listened and dodged to the side just as the nexu lept. The animal just barely missing her as it hit the ground and almost stumbled. Raine was almost to the container, when her feet were suddenly knocked out from under her. She hit the dirt and rolled over just as a paw hit the ground beside her. As she raised her rifle, the nexu pulled to the side to avoid it, as if it knew what it was. Before Raine could line up the shot, the nexu bit down on her right forearm. Raine gave a yell as the pain shot through her, it was by far the worst thing she ever felt. Frantically, she swung the rifle around with her left hand and fired off a shot. With a howl, the nexu dropped her and backed off.*
*The pain was excruciating in her now useless right arm. Raine didn't let this slow her down as she stumbled into the container. She pressed her back against the door and tried to close it. Before it closed completely, the nexu slammed into it and started to force it open. Raine's right arm was to badly injured to hold the rifle, so she started firing less accurate shots with her left. To her surprise, she was rewarded with another howl from the creature, causing it to back away from the door. Raine pushed with all her might, but the door wouldn't completely close. At that moment, two questions ran through her mind. Where was her buir? And why wouldn't this door close?*

After returning to the Pursuer-class enforcement ship that Fee had allowed him to use for the trip to Yavin, Lorcan had taken it up and, with the sensors set to detect humanoid lifeforms, begun to pilot the ship in a series of expanding circular routes over the jungle to conduct a search for Raine that, despite its unlikelihood of success, he determined was warranted prior to endeavoring to begin attempting to where her captors might have been bound for if they had left the moon.
Just as he is about to give up and begin planning what his next step should be, Lorcan hears the sensors ping, having detected a humanoid lifeform in the jungle far enough away from any settlements that he deems it worth checking out. Taking the ship further down towards the jungle canopy, Lorcan narrows his eyes behind his buy'ce as the ship's sensors show not only the humanoid lifeform, but another lifeform of undetermined origin near the humanoid one. The jungle canopy preventing him from gaining an accurate picture of what is going on, Lorcan lowers the boarding ramp and, instructing Em to stay put in the co-pilot's seat, sets the ship to hover before he makes his way to the boarding ramp and, grabbing his blaster rifle along the way, hops off of the foot of the ramp and uses his jetpack to reach the floor of the jungle.
Dropping into a crouch several feet from where the lifeforms are showing on his buy'ce's sensors, Lorcan shoulders his blaster rifle and begins stealthily making his way through the jungle to get an accurate picture of what is going on. Arching an eyebrow when he arrives and spots a Nexu harassing a container of some kind, the humanoid lifeform his sensors had detected registering from inside the container. Hoping against hope that the humanoid lifeform is Raine, Lorcan slowly and quietly lowers himself into a kneeling stance and, lowering the rangefinder on the side of his buy'ce to improve his targeting ability, takes aim for the Nexu's head. Once he has his shot lined up, Lorcan moves his index finger from outside of the rifle's trigger guard, curling it around the trigger and then firing a blaster bolt for the Nexu's outermost left eye to try and kill it . . .

*Raine was starting to lose hope, considering her current predicament. Her right arm was in excruciating pain and completely useless from the elbow down. The door to her only safety wouldn't shut. To top it all off, the nexu was preparing for another assault on the container. Raine wasn't entirely sure how much strength she had left, but she braced herself for the next attack, she had to if she wanted to live. The nexu howled in anger as it prepared to leap, a leap that never came. A blaster shot rang out and the nexu's fearsome howl turned into a shriek of pain.*
*Silence filled the forest, the only sound Raine could hear now was her heart beating rapidly inside her chest. She was unsure what happened, did she really hear a blaster other than her own? What happened to the nexu. Her gaze turned to her arm. The sight caused her stomach to clench in a knot, it was bad, really bad. Turning her gaze away from her injury, she peeked out of the crate. There, laying a few feet away, the nexu. She could instantly tell it was dead from the burn mark where it'seft eye used to be. The container slowly opened as Raine tried to see who fired the shot.*

Lorcan's relief upon seeing Raine emerge from the crate after the Nexu has fallen is all too soon replaced by worry when he sees the state of her arm. Rising from his crouch and letting his blaster rifle hang from his sling at his side as he begins pulling a field medical kit from one of the pouches on his belt while running towards Raine, Lorcan calls out, Ad'ika! Babbling as, once he reaches and Raine and carefully gives her a quick hug, Lorcan begins taking the items from the kit he needs to treat her injury while saying, I was so worried, I found the body but you weren't there. We searched the jungle on foot, me and Em, but couldn't find you so we thought they took you offworld. I didn't want to leave without doing another search, which is good, right, since here you are, so we took the ship and did a circular search, expanding out from our landing site . . .
On and on Lorcan babbles while first cleaning Raine's wound as gently as he can given the circumstances and need to disinfect it, and then dresses it with antibiotic and pressure dressings to staunch the bleeding to the best of his ability. Still babbling as he finishes treating the arm, Lorcan says, . . . Where did that Nexu come from I wonder? Was it a pet of whoever took you? Did you escape? You must have escaped, right? Good job! Looking over his work, Lorcan shrugs, We'll have someone take a look at that back home, stitch it if needed. Does it hurt? Of course it hurts, he answers for her, rooting through the field kit for something to help with pain control, and then jams a hypodermic in her arm without warning to administer a shot of pain medication as he says, There you go Raine, right as rain, huh? Gee, I hope it doesn't knock you right the fu . . . right out.
Finally relaxing somewhat, Lorcan hugs her again, saying as he laughs in obvious hyperactive relief as the adrenaline still courses through his system, Let's not do this again anytime soon, yeah? Alright, he stands up and looks towards where the ship is hovering above the trees not far away, let's get outta here, huh? Whattayasay? Think you can hang on to me, or do I need to carry you?

*A wave of relief swept over Raine at the sight of her buir. She wanted to run out and meet him, but her legs were far too shaky for that. Instead she returned his hug and let him begin patching up her arm. The entire time he worked, her buir rambled on, leaving her very little room to speak. Wiping the tears out of her eyes, she tried her best to awnser each question as fast as Lorcan was asking them.*
*Lorcan brought up a very good question. Where did the nexu come from.* "I don't remember the pirates having one. There is a collar on it, maybe it went feral." *She nodded her head in agreement when asked if her injury hurt. The sudden needle in her arm caught her off guard, causing her to flinch. The medication slowly began to do its work, it didn't eliminate all the pain, but did bring it down to a tolerable level.*
"Trust me, I don't want to do this again." *She hugged buir tightly as if afraid to let him go. "I think I can manage." *She started to stand, but almost fell over. The adrenaline had finally wore off, the blood loss from her injury and the pain medication all seemed to hit her at once. She struggled to stand up straight, but eventually made it.* "Maybe I'll make."

*As badly as Eimhin wishes to go with his father to rescue his vod, he remains put when past punishments for disobeying arise. He was ordered to remain in the ship. FINE. But despite his young age, he was incredibly bright and his intelligence could clearly be seen in his eyes. He left the co-pilot's chair and went to a small storage locker behind the pilot's chair and entered a code...it was one that he'd seen Fionnula use in the past. The red light turned green, signalling he'd unlocked it. He searched through many documents, making faces when he encountered dry, boring notes. He was about to stop digging when a small data-disk in a manilla envelope plopped out to land on his foot. He reached down and a small, triumphant smile crossed his face. He rushed to the forward view screen, ripped the data-disc out of its container and inserted it into the slot. He hit the 'play button' and stood a couple of feet back as it warmed up. The lad was surprised when a female voice began to talk to him from the cabin's speaker system overhead.*
"Thank you for purchasing this Pursuer-class Enforcement ship: CLD-345-879-MB!! To access this training manual and flight simulation--download files 4K-BB7 to files 59K-97A to begin."
*Eimhin, though he was still very young at age 4, was going to be 5 soon. He sometimes got tired of his buir and big sister thinking of him as a baby all of the time...well, this would show em'! He was useless or helpless! He was going to give them some backup. After installing the files and after the primary AI drive activated, the disc ejected and allowed Emhin to put it back where he'd gotten it from. After locking up the flight locker, he ran to the forward view screen..*
*In a friendly voice the AI made a formal introduction*
"I am AI software, designation Ja77Vr6is."
*Eimhin's eyebrows shot up into his hairline. He shook his head.*
"There is no way I'm calling you that...let's see...hmm..." *After nearly three minutes of silent thinking, he thought of the perfect name. With the snap of his index finger and right thumb, the boy happily announced the AI's new name.* "I'm gonna call you JARVIS. My name is Eimhin Bralor, son of Lorcan Bralor."
*The AI appeared to be processing his words. Then in a friendly voice, continued to speak.*
"Designation overwritten. Designation: JARVIS--confirmed. I have been designed to integrate with my pilot. Please step forward and place your hand on the palm scanner."
*Eimhin would normally have been nervous, afraid that he'd get in trouble for 'monkeying around' with the ship...but this was an emergency. He boldly marched ahead and placed his small hand on the scanner. A green light ran up and down the bottom of his palm and then chimed when the scan was complete. He pulled his hand away and looked up at the holo-projection of the AI*
"Okay...listen JARVIS. My dad and my sister are in danger, I need to go help them! I need to know how to pilot this ship."
"I can run auto-pilot protocols or you can give me manual instructions. I will follow your commands and nobody else's. You are my pilot. And mine alone."
*A happy grin was crossing his face. His dad and Aunt Fee might not be happy to hear the news but...this was his time to prove himself!*
"Please help me, JARVIS. Teach me how to fly."
"Tutorial program initializing...please mount up into the pilot's chair and training will commence..."
*About 35 minutes later, the tutorial was complete and the young mando child's head was spinning. At least he was now officially a pilot since he passed the intergalactic flight exam using JARVIS's interplanetary network. The flight simulator disappeared to reveal his present location. Yep...he was still right where his father had left the ship. With eyebrows knit in concentration, his small hands reached for the controls until he realized he couldn't.*
"Uh...JARVIS? A little help?"
*Without responding, the AI adjusted the young pilot's seat so that both of his hands and feet could reach the controls. Eimhin settled his hands on the controls and turned off the hover feature and switched to manual. He slowly gained altitude and began to fly slowly above the canopy of trees in the direction his buir had gone, with a determined face.*
"JARVIS, activate the thermal imaging scanners. Sweep for two bio-signatures. One adult male and a young girl."
"Do you require the stealth mode feature?"
*Eimhin shook his head with a small giggle.*
"No. They need to see me coming or they might try to hide or run away."
*A sudden beeping and blinking red light lit up on his dash and a tiny camera filled a small square video-cam feed in the upper left corner of the ship's forward viewscreen. It was his father and sister!! HE FOUND THEM! He let loose a holler of victory and pumped a fist in the air. He gently maneuvered the ship down and landed not far from them. His flying could put even his uncle Faelan to shame... After setting the ship on standby, he opened the boarding ramp. With a small hold-out blaster in his hand, he slowly descended the landing ramp until his feet hit the soft earth of the glade. He grinned at their shocked faces. Using his gun's barrel he gestured from them to the ship behind him.*
"Does anyone need a ride?"

Lorcan helps Raine steady herself, putting an arm around her waist as he prepares to use his jetpack to return to the ship. Spotting the ship as it begins to land, Lorcan's first thought is that he must have missed another intruder hiding somewhere aboard, and draws his blaster from its holster while moving Raine behind him.
His jaw dropping unseen beneath his buy'ce when Em emerges from the boarding ramp, Lorcan lowers his blaster and splutters as he asks Raine, Did you know he could . . . How in the fu. . . What? Shaking his head, Lorcan laughs and calls out to Em, Yeah, uh, we could . . . So, you can . . . When did . . . Laughing once more, Lorcan helps Raine to the boarding ramp and ruffles Em's hair as he says in commingled admiration and confusion, Nice bit of flying there, lil' man. You, uh, wanna take us out and to orbit then? I'll take your sis' to the medbay, look after her arm. As they begin making their way up the boarding ramp, Lorcan asks in a bewildered tone, Why didn't you tell us you could fly before now lil' buddy?

*With the help of her buir, Raine finally got her footing. She felt terrible now that the adrenaline was wearing off. The only things keeping her going was the painkiller and the thought of going home. That hope was almost dashed away at the sight of the incoming ship. She peeked around her buir when he mentioned Eimhin's name. There he was, much to Raine's surprise, standing on the boarding ramp. Between how tired she was, the pain in her arm and the painkiller in her system; Raine wasn't exactly sure what was happening. As confused as she was, she followed Lorcan up the boarding ramp.* "Buir, am I actually dead? Or are the painkillers getting to me? Cause I'm not exactly sure what's going on right now."

Lorcan laughs, shaking his head when Raine amusingly asks if she is dead, reassuring her, You're probably just a little bit loopy from the painkillers, ad'ika, not dead or near death. Promise.
Waiting until Em is inside the ship and making his way to the cockpit, Lorcan hits the control to raise the boarding ramp with his fist and lifts Raine up into his arms to carry her to what serves as the ship's medbay, muttering to himself loudly enough for Raine to overhear if she makes even a slight effort to make out what he is muttering, Can't believe that lil' dude can fly this thing. Hmm, maybe I can tell Fee that he's the one who dinged up the nose? Who could be mad at that cute lil' guy? Yeah, think I'll just have ta let lil' man take the blame for that.
Setting Raine down atop the bunk in what used to be a holding cell but has since been converted into a medbay, Lorcan removes his buy'ce and begins opening random drawers and cabinets, occasionally setting something he thinks looks useful aside as he chatters somewhat randomly to try and cover up the fact he has little to no idea what he should do with a wound like Raine's other than clean it and slap a pressure dressing on it as he has already down, "Soooo, we'll just, uhhh, clean it again, and . . . Ah! Here we go, he says while tossing a tube of dermabond onto the bunk beside the other things he has tossed onto it, having read enough of the label to guess it might be useful for gashes like those Raine has sustained. Gonna need that. Aaaaannd, he adds a few bacta patches to the growing pile of supplies on the bunk, those too. Clapping his hands together and pulling off his flightsuit's gloves so that he can wash his hands before putting on the sterile gloves he found, Lorcan says with his usual cheery confidence, however unfounded that confidence might occasionally be, Let's look after that arm, huh? Can't promise there won't be some scars, but scars are cool, right? Give ya some character, yeah?"

*Raine wasn't one likes to be carried, but right now was an exception. She let out groan and rolled her eyes when her buir was going to blame her brother for the dent on the ships nose.*
*She laid on the bed and watched her buir rummage through cupboards to find what he needed, or thought he needed. As he did, Raine glanced down at her arm and really looked it over for the first time. Several long deep gashes ran the length of her arm, three puncture marks were close to her elbow. The worst part wasn't just the pain, but the fact that she couldn't move her arm at all. Focusing her mind, she tried to bend it at the elbow, unfortunately the best she could do was move her pinky finger.* "Buir, my arm won't move."

Lorcan, looking over towards Raine as he tries to follow the instructions for putting on sterile gloves without breaking sterility, frowns when she says she cannot move her arm, then grins and says with more confidence than he feels to keep her from worrying, "Oh, yeah, um, that could just be, you know, inflammation or something? So, you know, don't worry. We'll have Roisin check it over when we get back home too, just to make sure though." Nodding and keeping his cocky grin in place even though he cannot help but worry about tendon or nerve damage now that Raine has revealed that she is unable to move the arm, Lorcan squints and, tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth as he concentrates intently on getting the sterile glove onto his right hand without breaking sterility.
Once he has the gloves on and has begun to more thoroughly cleanse the wound as gently as he can prior to disinfecting it, Lorcan asks, "How's the pain? Let me know if it gets too bad, he nods towards a syringe he had set aside earlier, and I can give you some more painkiller. Figuring distracting her will help with the pain, Lorcan asks, Say, so how'd you get away from whoever took you? Who took you anyway? Do you remember anything about them we could use to find them? His expression darkening as he asks the next question without looking away from his work, Lorcan asks, They didn't hurt you in, um, any way did they?"

*Inflammation? Well her arm was hurt bad, it wouldn't be surprising if it swelled some. Her buir was right though, Roisin would Know what to do about her arm. A small grin the formed on her lips.* "Fee is going to kill you. Or just give you the stink eye for a while."
"It really hurts." *She knew the question on how she escaped was coming.* "They were Zygarrian, I only know that much. Worst pirates I've ever met. I was knocked out when they took me. When I woke up, I was just laying the cargo hold, not even locked in a room, just handcuffed. I stole the key from one of them and got free." *She winced as her buir started cleaning her arm.* "I managed to get the cargo bay doors open. That's when I was attacked by a Trandoshan. I didn't have to fight him though, cause we got knocked out of the cargo hold by some crates. I managed to land sorta safely in a tree. The Trandoshan..not so much." *Her buirs last question sounded kinda odd to her. Not the question itself, but how he asked it.* "No. Well other than knocking me out. Why?"

*Eimhin watched silently as Lorcan carried Raine up the boarding ramp of the ship. Eimhin ordered JARVIS to close it behind him as he followed. He answered his father's question nonchalantly.*
"I couldn't always fly this ship. JARVIS taught me."
*Eimhin ran up to the cockpit and set a course for orbit. Before the ship blasted off, Eimhin opened up the ship's com channel.*
"JARVIS, initiate safety protocols for pre-flight sequence."
"Affirmative: Protocols initiated"
*Eimhin felt the pilot's harness slide over his chest and waist. Seconds later he was buckled in. He imagined the same must have been done for his buir and sister in the med-bay*

Lorcan, looking more relieved than his shrugged shoulders while answering Raine's question about what he had meant somewhat dismissively, "Oh, you know, um, I just wanted to make sure that they didn't use harsh language or a lot of shouting while they had you, that kind of thing. Smiling cheerfully and playfully hitting her beneath the chin gently with his knuckles, Lorcan jokes, I might have had to seriously consider hunting them down if they'd done things like that on top of taking you, you know? The look in his eyes, which seems to suggest that if there were any way for him to track the crew that kidnapped Raine down Lorcan would not only do so but would also ensure that none of the crew lived to take another child from their family again, not quite matching his bantering tone, Lorcan moves on from the subject to try and help Raine put all that happened behind her, asking her apparently out of nowhere something that has been bugging him ever sine Em had tried to explained something about his surprising piloting ability, Who the frak is JARVIS, huh?"

*Raine narrowed her eyes at her buirs response. His response lead her to believe that he was dodging the question and didn'twant to give the actual answer. Then again, she was in a lot of pain and on painkillers. Maybe she was just reading into it wrong. She rolled her eyes when he playfully hit her beneath the chin, all the while trying her hardest not to smile. However she did believe home when he said he'd hunt them down if he had to. That alone made her feel somewhat better.* "I've heard far worse things on Nar Shaddaa then just simple harsh language and shouting." *His next question peeked her curiosity as well. She had never heard of Jarvis before.* "I...don't know. Something of Eimhin's probably. I wasn't paying a lot of attention."

Lorcan smiles, or tries to, when Raine points out that she heard worse things on Nar Shaddaa than harsh language, the smile one that is more a wince than anything else given that he has little desire to think about what Raine might have heard, or seen, or been subjected to before she found her way to Manda'yaim. Seizing the chance to change the subject eagerly when Raine says that she, too, has no idea who or what JARVIS is, Lorcan says, "Yeah, probably something of Em's. Nodding his chin towards the cockpit as the sound of the ship's engines coming on line is heard throughout the vessel, Lorcan says, I should, uh, probably find out what he's talking about, huh? Brow furrowing in concern, Lorcan says, You should probably get some rest, ad'ika. Arching an eyebrow with a bemused grin as he thinks about how well Raine tends to do with doing what she should do, Lorcan asks, Or do you want to come with me and try to figure out this whole JARVIS thing?"
