By the time Brick would have caught up with Han, all the female Herglic would find was Han’s jacket neatly folded up, with his hat sitting perfectly stop it. No sign of Han Der was anywhere to be found. His tracks coming to an abrupt stop right at that spot

As the sun began rising over Bothawui, casting an orange glow over the planet, the spaceport of Drev’starn came to life, as droids began milling about, carrying multicoloured cargo crates on hovertrollies back and forth from the large container ships in port. A few passenger vessels arrived, though they carried more Bothans than usual, who were quickly greeted by family before being bundled away into speeders, while the small groups chattered excitedly in their native language. Few Bothans could actually be seen working, however, and those who were working were either indispensable or were getting ready to go home themselves. It was a celebration. A celebration of the Bothan’s long standing alliance with the Light. Though, in recent years, the light was growing weaker, the Bothans preserved hope that they would prevail nonetheless.
Walking across the polished floors of the Reconquista, a man dressed extremely well, in a dark grey suit, with a pressed, silken ivory shirt, a jet black tie, golden cufflinks, and an impeccably cut white rose in his lapel. Standing dead center before the ramp, he checked himself over one more time. In his left pocket, the stealth watch. In his right, his knife. And concealed within his suit jacket, the Black Dahlia. Still light as ever. The man’s name was, in fact, Fowl. But the rest of the galaxy did not know that. To them, he was Raith Veitch, staunch supporter of the Galactic Alliance and senator from Lianna.
A droid was cleaning off one of the diplomatic docks when it suddenly looked to the sky. The plum color of the rising sun had been obscured by the clean, symmetric shape of the Reconquista. The pebble grey surface of the vessel was perfectly smooth, interrupted only by a half dozen apertures along the top side of the ship, along with the nacelles for the rear-mounted engines, which themselves were emitting a low, yet deep growl, and a few lines, all of which were illuminated by a thin, translucent azure light. Folding seamlessly out of the belly of the craft, the tri-legged landing gear settled upon the well made onyx surface of the diplomatic hangar. As the flush entry ramp folded out towards the left of the ship, revealng a glimpse of the beautiful, paneled interior of the craft, a message was sent to the Bothan official Veitche was to meet by the copilot of the vessel. Raith had arrived. Looking out over the incredibly well built, ultramodern boarding area, with a charcoal grey floor, tall white pillars stretching up towards a massive skylight, interspersed with turquoise light panels, giving the impression of being underwater. Checking the time on his silver wristwatch, which was evidently some antique from the core worlds, he made his way down the boarding ramp and into the visitors center, placing down his attaché case next to the pure, snowy white couch before sitting down. It was only a matter of time...

Having received the communique from the copilot of the Reconquista, Insira decided to respond to her lover's call. She only regretted that she couldn't be there to meet him in person, the new day bringing with it a whole new set of problems that she was meant to deal with - chief among them, getting out ahead of the political onslaught she was soon to be facing. Her most-recent dealings with the patriarch of the Caydence family had left her without so much as a political twig to stand upon, due to her involvement in selling state secrets to the First Order in order to secure her political standing. And now that she had been found out, it would take all manner of favors and quick thinking just to keep herself alive, much less out of prison or being made into a public spectacle. Her only solace was that she could speak to her lover and friend, the senator from Lianna that she had grown so close to over these past few months. That he was here, now, was a welcome boon in her eyes.
"Raith, my dear. Forgive me for not meeting you at the spaceport. Pressing matters of state, I'm afraid. I would love to catch up with you soon, though. Perhaps over lunch?"

A Crix-class diplomatic courier shuttle, escorted by three TwinTails, came to land at Drev'starn Spaceport as granted by the local Bothan government. Graemon disembarked with a pair of Jedi from the Corellian Academy, a handful of fellow diplomats, and two squads of Coalition troopers. The Fondorian looks around the Spaceport, keeping an eye for Councilman Ont'Koran's assistant. It didn't take long though, considering that, if the intended person was waiting or arriving, they like came with an escort of their own and thus stood out among the crowds at the Spaceport.

Jedi Master Carak Fervse'dra, a diminuitive, elderly female Bothan with the watchful, poised feline grace of a dancer, and her padawan, Iseul Yi, a lean and willowy, pink skinned and purple haired thirteen year old Zeltron with a practiced tranquil air that matches her Master's, disembark from the Cris-class shuttle along with Graemon and the others to await the arrival of Councilman Ont'Koran's assistant, who will be leading them all to where they are to meet with Bothawui's Council.

Council Motorcade - On Approach to Drevstarn Spaceport
Coming down the streets in a midnight-blue streak of several vehicles, the diplomatic motorcade of the Bothan Council made its way to the spaceport of Drevstarn. It was only a few minutes out. No one seemed to appreciate the time and effort it took to put together something as seemingly-simple as a diplomatic attache. At least, that was the viewpoint of Councilor Ont'koran's protege and personal assistant, Dinn Kav'Santi. Doing his best to carry the air of a diplomat, he sat in the back of one of the speeders now heading down the road to meet up with the delegation of Baron Gorgano. Yes, to the young Bothan, the task of preparing this motorcade was as monumental as holding a peace summit; for it was nothing short of the consideration of an official response to the Corellian Coalition and the weight that they hold according to the Bothan Systems Initiative. And the Initiative, itself, had to also be willing to display its measured, calculated show of power by what it was bringing to bear - and that all began with something as seemingly-simple as this.Sitting in the seat adjacent to him, this being a stretch speeder meant to hold several passengers of the delegation, a young woman with auburn hair and a military bearing folded her hands in her seat, choosing to cross her legs at the knee. She was a member of the Bothawui Planetary Defense Force, a specialist, by the name of Analise Caydence. She held the military rank of Commander, although she wasn't wearing an actual uniform today. Due to both time constraints and the necessity to present this attache with a diplomatic bearing, she was instead ordered to wear her current outfit of a leather jacket bearing the insignia of the BSI, her gray slacks, and a pair of comfortable heels. There she sat, shoulders back and jaw set, right up until the young Bothan spoke to her, breaking her concentration.
"You do realize, Agent Caydence, the importance of this meeting, I presume?"
The young woman looked over, giving a light smile and inclining her head in a nod.
"Of course, sir. Both myself and my men are ready and able to provide security, as necessary."
The Bothan scoffed at her response.
"Hmm, not exactly my meaning, but thank you, Agent." He sighed, fidgeting with his hands as they held his leather-bound folder in his lap. "I suppose my nervousness for this endeavor is beginning to finally show. The Coalition is here, now. And I guess...I guess that means that things are about to start getting really interesting around here."
The young woman nodded again, this time more to herself than anything.
"I share your nervousness, sir. My own father has decided to take part in the Initiative, and many of the members of my family have stood behind him, offering their support. This - my - career? I chose this. But I feel that the tensions being brought on by the current political climes are drawing in the people I care about. And that, sir? That actually frightens me."
The young Bothan shifted in his seat.He hadn't expected the Commander to be so...candid.
"That's right...your father - he is one of the newest members of the Council, isn't he?"
Analise straightened her shoulders, her jaw now set again as she responded.
"Yes, sir. Although, his previous dealings were borne out of a desire to serve the people of Bothawui. He truly didn't hold any political aspirations up to this point. This was...he believes that this might be the only way that he can affect change. He thinks that if he's willing to take a stand, others will follow. Or, at least, that is his hope."
Nods "I believe that's what we're all hoping for, at this point, Agent Caydence."
The motorcade arrived a few minutes later at the spaceport, jetting straight up to the hangar where the Coalition Delegation was said to have landed. The speeders fanned out in such a way that the ones meant to transport the delegation were closest to the ships, and the ones holding the security detail remained on the outside, forming a makeshift perimeter.Exiting the vehicles, several suited individuals with the bearing of a security team moved into place alongside the speeders, heads on a swivel as they secured the motorcade and the surrounding area. Analise was the first out of the diplomatic speeder, followed by Ont'Koran's assistant. The young woman reached her fingers up to her ear, tapping the security comm within.
"Teams one, two, and four - maintain defensive perimeter. Team three, on me. Attache will be moving in to meet with the delegation in-three. Move out."
The third security team moved in to support her as the Bothan motioned to his fellow diplomats to come over and join them. The group approached the gathering near the Crix-class shuttle shortly afterward, with Dinn stepping to the forefront, Analise trailing just a few steps behind him and to his right. Dinn - knowing the Baron's face thanks to the ident scans that were provided in his docket - walked straight up to the man and offered a polite bow in acknowledgment.
"Baron Gorgano," He then extended the same bow to the Jedi Master and her padawan. "Master Fervse'dra, Padawan Yi...on behalf of the Council and the Bothan Systems Initiative, allow me to welcome you to Bothawui and our glorious capitol. I am Dinnatiri Kav'Santi, personal assistant and protege of Councilman Kelvan Ont'Koran. We thank you for choosing to grace us with your presence this day. How may we be of service?"

Baron Gorgano was pleased by the arrival of the Bothan representative. The Bothan system would hopefully be willing and ready to join the Coalition as a member or an allied state to further bolster their capabilities. Granted, the Bothan system was further out from the Coalition's core, but its shipyards made it a well-desired prize and its position made it easy to fortify. Graemon bows his head slightly to Dinn before shaking his hand.Mister Kav'Santi, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am glad to see that the Bothan System Initiative is welcoming to the presence of the Coalition's delegation. It is truly good to see that democracy continues to live, here, among the Bothan society. Thanks to Prime Minister Hu, Graemon was given the lawful authority to negotiate on what came next.I have been sent, by the Coalition's government and the Prime Minister Jacques Hu, to seek an accord with the Bothan government. The Prime Minister and the Coalition desire to have Bothawui and the Bothan Sector join the Coalition as a full member or an allied state. Your shipyards and your spy network would be a great help to preserving democracy and fighting against the First Order. I hope the Bothan government is inclined to our delegation's purpose.

Although the travel via the hyperspace lanes had been quite long, the Amber Monarch would eventually arrive at the Drev'starn Spaceport. With most of the the data having been provided by the Dominion, the landing wasn't a difficult one as Jerai Rhakmar's papers would identify him as a scientist, working for one of the more known Mon Calamari pharma concerns, his crew being labled as "working staff". As the Sorcerer took again a brief look at the Bantha-Shuttle's interior, inspecting most of the laboratory equipment aboard, the tubes and everything prepared to ensure that a dosis of the virus can be contained, he nearly smiled. To think that everything he had dreamt for was now in closer reach.
Jerai still remembered as he had met the prophet on a harsh desert planet, at a tavern, bordering the Taspan system, back then, when the Dominion hasn't even been created. Being taught by a former follower of Darth Cronal, Jerai had grown up under harsh conditions, studied the Way of the Dark and other Rhandite scriptures, the past relics of a nearly forgotten order. On an early point of his life, he had lost everything. His family, his home, everything what he loved - for if it wasn't for the stranger he would be dead. It was at this point, that Jerai began to understand the cycle of life, the suffering every individual within the galaxy had to endure, the repeating cycle of torture and suffering. Even his own master couldn't be saved, as an illness would eventually even take the life away from the one, who adopted Jerai. People, who would die under unjust conditions in order to ensure that others lived. There was no fairness within this system and even if he passed away, this system would endure. Unless others would bring it to a collapse. Back that night within the tavern, C'Thyl has showed him a potential future, shown him a way to achieve of what they all dreamed about. Cosmic entities, that lied beyond anyone's imagination, beautiful and horrific at the same time, the heralds of the Dark. A gaze into the abyss. It was at this point that Jerai Rhakmar swore his allegiance to C'Thyl in return for his promise to find a way how they could break the cycle. A way to end the universe in all its glory, so that it won't recover from the cycle at all. One of the first followers of the cult, Jerai would teach many of C'Thyl's adepts the traditions of the Rhandites, just like the former Rhakmar did to him - the first generation of Sorcerors, who would form the foundation of the Quarren Dominion.
His thoughts returned back to the present, as he ordered his men to keep the shuttle safe. With all of them being clothed in long, black trenchcoats except for the two Deep Ones and the Aquadroids, Rhakmar then would leave the shuttle with his two acolytes, allowing the rest of the crew to stay where they are. After all he had to ensure, that their partner team, the Chaotic Revelation had also entered safely the atmosphere in order to increase the chances of their success. The Mechu-Deru spider hidden within the depths of his coat, Rhakmar would then take a first breath on this foreign world, they had just entered. A beautiful world, as the mountain sights told him. With some luck it was the first one to fall under the cold claws of the Blue Shadow.

The trip had been as many before, quiet and long as he prepared his mind for the tasks that were to come. Especially considering that this task would deviate from his typical approach to any mission. Normally, any mission he had set for himself always involved the death of many. In the beginning, it had been his goal to simply eradicate the wicked from existence so the good and innocent could thrive. Many missions ending the worse scum the universe bred in its underbelly, from the traffickers to drug dealers. None were saved from his wrath.
But, as time went on, he learned that none could escape the darkness. Even the best of men were so easily susceptible to acts of evil. Sure there were those select few that truly existed as innocent beings, but not enough to matter anymore. And so, his mission had changed from eliminating evil men to eradicating all life from the galaxy. In some ways, a far more daunting task while in others, far easier since finding and picking apart who was who no longer mattered. If he truly wanted, he could just fly over city after city and lay waste to everything, a task made easier by joining the Dominion, especially should he gather a fleet for himself.
He would work with them, aid them until their goal was carried out. After that, then the last of his work would begin in their own extinction. But that was a task far in the future. But hopefully, this mission would give him the means to speed up the process. Hence the reality of this mission was so different than the rest. While death may come to those in their way, snuffing out life wasn't the goal. They were here to gather the Blue Shadow virus for their own purposes.
Arriving over the planet, Kelam's crew followed Rhakmar's ship to the surface, not once concerning themselves with gaining permission to land. Permission wasn't a concern, though it was a surprise that he headed for the capital. Still, the Chaotic Revelation landed and the crew disembarked. It made the man curious as to just what the Sorceror had in mind.

Noticing the allied crew, Rhakmar went over towards Kelam, also taking a closer look on those, who had travelled with him. In his dark trenchcoat the Sith sorceror looked oddly unsuspecting, given that a lot of people tended to wear these on a daily life base. Sometimes the most obvious disguise was the best one, as he just took out a pair of sun glasses to cover his eyes. "I think we might have the best chances if we split up and gather some clues, then try to inform eachother if we found something whenever we have the opportunity to do so", he said then in a normal tone, not adressing the reason why they came here too loud - probably to avoid any listeners to find out what they're planning, "I have lab equipment aboard the Amber Monarch and my men can make sure that they can get away with it, if we run into trouble. They'll inform me over my little toy here, if they have any difficulties." The small movement under Rhakmar's robe to which he glanced told Kelam, that he meant the corrupted holo emitter, the spider-like Mechu Deru creation. "Unless you have a better proposal, partner." There was no disdain or mocking in Rhakmar's voice, solely curiousity.

Kelam watched as Rhakmar made his way over to them. As he spoke of the plan the only action the man gave was the crossing of his arms. It was curious thing as to why they had come to the capital of all places to find out about the virus. True enough that those higher up the chain would possibly know something if there was any evidence of the virus currently, but finding the proper channels without confronting them directly would be a task for sure.
But he was allowing the Sorceror to take the lead in this matter. <<Very well. We will keep in touch should we find anything.>>
It was then that he heard Rika's voice within his mind, his connection to each of his crew allowing him to pick up their thoughts.
<<Why allow him to lead this mission? Are you not the Second-in-Command?>>
Kelam smirked inwardly at the words she said before responding. <<I care not for the position they've given me. But it doesn't allow me greater access to what I need to carry out our mission. However, in regards to this mission, let him take the lead. His desire to please his master will be of great use, especially if he is given the lead. That way, he knows it's his plan that that will reach the Prophet's ears and will be rewarded for a successful mission. If successful, I can merely state I let him take the lead to prove his worth and to elevate those worthy of such ascension. If he fails, we can attempt to fix his mistake and claim the glory. If it fails completely, then the failure will fall on him.>>
Letting his arms slip down to his hips, his head raised as he continued to address Rhakmar. <<So where do we begin?>>

The sorceror looked around the area briefly to where the entrance towards the city was - the area beneath the mountain top on where the spaceport was located. "Our best chances are to catch up on rumors, listen what's going on exactly", he explained calm, "One way or another it will lead us to our goal. If the virus exists, someone will be able to tell us. And if we don't find it here, we'll search elsewhere until we find it. I'll try my luck at the Exoticalia Pet Emporium, maybe you want to check out the market? If strange events occur, it's always the safest place to overhear gossip around the commercial areas." For a brief moment the Rhandite would wait for Kelam's answer, wondering if he had so far other plans in mind - from Rhakmar's perspective it seemed logical to go with the whole case on an analytical base, just like an experiment. Probably quite a delicate experiment, but one for which the sorcerer had already developed a passion, if the end result would promise the deaths of many.

Kelam nodded in regards to the Sorceror's plan. It was, indeed a solid plan to move forward. Until a new avenue opened itself up to them, this was the best starting place. After all, it didn't take anything for rumors to start spreading when a situation began to occur. In most cases, it was always wise to take random gossip with a grain of salt until officially clarified. However, in this instance, rumors would serve them well. While false leads could send them on a random chase, they could easily cause enough of a stir to further out more information along the way until they reached their goal. <<Then to the markets my team will head.>> With a faint turn of his head, he gave a nod which prompted his crew to start heading out.<<May the Darkness guide our way.>> With those final words stated, he moved past Rhakmar and away from the spaceport.
