As he neared the Palace entrance, a black armored figure stood in the doorway, barring his advance. Smirking, the Zabrak stopped and stood his ground, alert and ready to move, should the need arise. Around him, alarms began blaring loudly. Voices boomed over loudspeakers, advising citizens that the city was going into lockdown. It seemed as though the Falleen had found their spine and were willing to put up a counter-offensive to the Blackguard's invasion. Hopefully it would mount to a much better fight than their fleet had given them...

Sith! FACE ME!
Shouted Thunn as the hooded figure approached the Palace entrance. Reaching back, he plucked the trident off his back and pressed the activation stud. The three blades extended in length and an electrical charge surged over them, crackling loudly. If the Sith wanted Falleen, then this particular one would have to go through him in order to get it. He was not about to surrender just because they came and began invading without provocation. Though, the Sith hardly needed provoking to do something such as this. Regardless, Thunn was determined to face this Sith down and defend his people. The slaughter would end here, one way or another.

As the Sith forces worked to pacify the city as the leader made his way to the palace, Kia snuck into the city, her presence hidden as she snuck around, keeping herself hidden behind bits of rubble and buildings. She moved slowly and carefully, working to avoid any patrols of soldiers while finding any civilians she could. Once found, she worked to escort them out of the city, allowing them a chance to run and get away from the oppressing forces.

A grin split the tattooed Zabrak's face as the armored warrior challenged him. Lowering his hood and shrugging out of his cloak, Venom drew is saber hilt and ignited the blade. The red blade sprang to life with a snap/hiss. Saluting his foe with a Makashi salute, he slid his feet shoulder width apart and tucked his left hand behind his back.
"Come then, worm. Meet your Maker!"
His foe's armored advantage would force him to choose his blows carefully. Though he was still going to enjoy skinning this lizard by the time this duel was through.

Grinning beneath his helm, the Falleen King watched the horn-headed Sith draw his weapon and salute him. Gripping the hilt of the trident tightly, the Falleen charged forward, keeping the trident off to his side, pointed back behind him. As he neared the Sith, he brought the crackling trident up swiftly, attempting to cleave the man from his right side up to his left shoulder...

While seemingly barbaric in his everyday dealings in the Blackguard, Venom was actually a fairly well refined swordsman. Having learned lightsaber combat from Viox Savage as well as learning the art of utilizing a vibro-rapier from Aedon Gavin Montrose, Venom was proficient and had worked hard to refine his own technique. Whereas Viox was graceful, yet utterly barbaric with a blade, and Aedon was refined, controlled and fluid, Venom had combined the two approached into his own unique style. Appearing as a graceful swordsman at first, but being able to mix in aggressive, heavy-handed strikes and barbaric aggression, it always served to keep his enemies off balance. Even Valafar, his clan brother, was caught off guard the first time they had sparred together. Watching the Falleen King as he charged forward, Venom knew he needed to play this out as precisely as possibly, lest he be caught on the business end of that trident. Loose, limber and ready to move, as the trident came up, Venom sidestepped to the right and batted the trident back down. A smirk appeared on his face as he engaged in Dun Moch.
"For all your confidence, you utterly lack the skills needed to best me, you snake! Try harder...lest you find yourself gutted on your own doorstep..."
Definitely able to get under his skin, he wanted to witness a little more of the Falleen King's style before he pressed on the offensive...

Clenching his jaw in annoyance as his attack was so effortlessly batted aside, Thunn used his forward momentum to twist and leap up in a roundhouse kick to the Zabrak's chest. It wasn't much at this point, but he needed to tip the scales of this duel. Even for all his training, this Sith clearly was much better at dueling than he was. Though that revelation was unsurprising, given the rate in which the Sith were expanding...the downfall to an isolationist society. And something that he would look into remedying, should he survive this encounter...

Before he had time to react, a booted foot impacted with his ribs, painfully. Rolling with the impact, rather than trying to stay upright, Venom was able to roll in the direction the Falleen had intended to kick him. Wincing slightly as he came to his feet, he scowled.
"Impressive...but it pales in comparison to the Dark Side!"
Extending his left hand, electricity was loosed from his fingertips suddenly, directed at the armored king...

Surprisingly, the Sith was still upright after a kick like that. Begrudgingly, he had to give the Zabrak credit. He was a lot tougher than he looked. Though the burst of electricity that came next was unexpected. Enveloping him, the Falleen roared loudly in pain as he dropped to his knee, trident falling from his grip and clattering to the ground. Dancing wildly, Thunn's HUD was going haywire from the electrical interference, making it difficult to see what was coming next. Warnings were pinging in his ear. Deep down, he scoffed at himself. He's right, you are a worm. Unable to defend your home from this threat....you had your chance. This is how it ends. No. He refused to believe it. Forcing himself upright, he bellowed defiantly.
End me! Finish what you started! DO IT! KILL ME!!

With a malevolent grin, the Zabrak stepped closer and extended his right hand, picking up the trident as it fell. Before he could carry out his intended attack, several visions flashed across his mind's eye. The forest. Armored Alliance soldiers. Valafar being enveloped in an explosion. Valafar needed him. Lip curling upwards in rage, Venom flung the trident as hard as he could manage, at the Falleen. Not waiting to see the results, he extinguished his blade, glanced up and then leapt up at a passing speeder bike. Startling the Falleen piloting the bike, Venom grabbed him by the collar and flung him backwards, off the bike. Sliding down onto the seat, Venom grabbed the throttle and opened it up.
I am on my way, brother. Hang on.
Annoyed at having to abandon his fight with the King, Valafar's well-being was more important to him personally, than the Sith'ari's agenda.

There was a few moments of agonizing silence, aside from the cracking of electricity over his armor and then suddenly the wind was knocked out of him as he was lift off his feet. Sailing through the air and landing with a THUD, the Falleen groaned as he shook his head. His chest was throbbing and his extremities were still tingling, but the crackling of electricity was gone. Opening his eyes, he realized he was looking skyward. Seeing the Sith fling a soldier off a speeder bike and disappear, Thunn grimaced beneath his helm as he sat upright. Clutching his side, he glanced down at his hand. Blood was slowly seeping out of puncture wounds in his suit. Seeing the blood stained points of the trident a few meters away, it all clicked into place. The Sith had telekinetically wholloped him with his own weapon! Defeated, yet alive, the King rose to his feet and pulled off his helm as his soldiers rushed the area to secure it. As medics tended to him, he merely continued to watch the speeder bike as it grew smaller and smaller in the distance. Whatever was so important, at this point he was grateful. That duel had not played out nearly as well as he had hoped. But hopefully they would now be able to regroup and push the Sith back, though it was still looking grim...

Capital City - Falleen. Arcturus-Class Cruiser OSV Apollo Hanging in the sunny skies above the Falleen Capital City, the OSV Apollo was busily occupied with sending troops to the surface to relieve the beleaguered Falleen armed forces that were still resisting the Sith occupation. Kodiak shuttles ferried troops from the ship to the surface, while a handful of SX2 Interceptors engaged the few enemy fighters that had broken off from the Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser currently occupied with evacuating retreating Sith forces. Though, once the OSV Athena was in position, the Sith Cruiser would have something else to worry about, instead of just evacing their forces unopposed...

Mark VI Supremacy-Class Starfighters danced back and forth in the skies above the capital, engaged with the recently arrived fighters that seemed to be offering aid to the Falleen. On board the Brotherhood, a Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser, Commander Paxu Dennett continued to observe the evacuation of the Blackguard's forces.
"Sir! Enemy vessel on an intercept course. ETA 90 seconds! Orders?"
Gritting his teeth, the Zabrak Commander slammed a clenched fist on the holo-table before him.
"Get the rest of our ground side forces to scatter and regroup at the medical evac site in the jungles. Lord Verenhimo is currently there, being evacuated along with the remainder of his squad. Once away from the city, we should have some time to collect the remainder of our troops and retreat..."
As the call went out for the remaining Blackguard forces on the ground to scatter and regroup at a new rally point, Dennett shook his head in dismay. Everything had gone right, up until it hadn't. And now they were being pushed back from Falleen by unknown allies of the Falleen Navy. Either they had overlooked something in the planning stages of this invasion, or the Falleen had managed to make friends during their absence. Either way, the Sith'ari would be very upset when they returned to Mustafar battered, beaten and empty-handed...

As the OSV Apollo continued supporting the Falleen forces on the surface, the OSV Athena arrived and began to push the opposing Sith forces out of the capital's airspace. Once clear, the Athena would continue to push the Vindicator back until it was either destroyed or the occupying forces retreated. But for now, clearing the skies above the capital city was priority one.

Capital City, Falleen.
Major John Dexter had made it into the city, which had not been an easy thing to do. His Havoc armor was now in shambles, he was missing shoulder pauldrons, leg pieces, his helmet and arm pieces. All that he had left was a damaged chest piece, boots and gantlets. John was desperate to leave the planet, he had lost so much in such a short amount of time. Not wanting to discovered by the enemy that was hunting him, John found an old shuttle and hide inside. Once John was inside of the shuttle he started to make small repairs to it, so that he could leave and make a jump to hyperspace. To him it didn't matter where he emerged from, as long as it was far away from Falleen.

Capital City - Falleen.
Upon reentering the city, Venom noted that much had changed. The Brotherhood, a Vindicator-Class Heavy Cruiser, that had been ferrying troops to the surface and providing both close fire support as well as air support for the invading Blackguard forces, was no longer hanging in the skies above the city. Instead, there were two angular looking vessels now residing above the city. And the sounds of combat had lessened. Despite this and the fact that they were losing, Venom no longer cared about it. His singular purpose at this time, was to find the soldier responsible for maiming his brother. And making him pay. With what appeared to be a scrapyard or secondhand ship dealer, it might be more difficult to locate his quarry. The now-abandoned vessels would make for an excellent hiding spot, and should his foe get one off the ground, he might actually manage to escape. But Venom wasn't about to give up so easily. He could sense the panic, the desperation and the urgency to flee in the air...he just needed to find the right ship...

Capital City - Falleen
With the combined effort of The Organization, the ground forces of Falleen had managed to push the Sith from the city and were now forcing them to retreat into the jungles surrounding the city. As the last pockets of resistance were either defeated or forced to fall back, King Zad was able to regain control of his city and ensure its population was safe.

Capital City - Falleen.
Months after the failed Sith invasion of Falleen, the entity know only as The Organization, had provided aid via resources and credits to help repair and rebuild everything that had been destroyed during the invasion. Since then, the alliance between the Falleen Monarchy and The Organization had solidified and the Falleen Monarchy had become a steadfast ally. And Thunn Zad, the current king of Falleen, was itching for an opportunity to reach out and strike back against the Blackguard Imperium for attempting to invade in the first place. A move that The Organization supported, but urged caution on, were it to be attempted. As of right now, however, Zad was still debating on gathering his forces and setting off or not. And the courts were stalled out, deliberating the idea. Many supported Zad's ambitious undertaking, but others were decidedly against such a notion. Only time would tell if the Falleen Monarchy would end up going to war with the Blackguard Imperium or not...

Capital City - Falleen
Just under two years had passed, since the failed Sith Invasion. The Organization, while providing aid to the Falleen Monarchy, wasn't demanding much in return as of yet. King Therrin Tor Zad replaced Thunn Zad as King, and continued to rule over his people, while offering support to The Organization as needed. All in all, the secluded Falleen Kingdom continued on as it always had, wary of outsiders and willing to defend its own until the very last.

Yellow District
While Xiù keeps a few items from her vast collection of Sith and Dark Side related artifacts and writings in her keep in Ndlovu Province, the bulk of her collection is kept in an underground facility hidden beneath a manufacturing facility in Falleen's capital, located in the Yellow District. The manufacturing facility, a durasteel mill, had been acquired by a labyrinthian series of shell companies that make determining its connection to the Ndlovu Province nearly impossible, and has been in operation ever since Xiù acquired it, while the facility hidden below it exists in no official records and can be entered only from a network of tunnels that also exist in no records and which branch off from the Yellow District's sewage system. The hidden facility is guarded by a twinned pair of unique Dark Side tainted Sith Elite Warbots Xiù had found one one of her expeditions to add to her collection and which she restored to operational capacity, both Warbots armed with Sith swords from her collection as well as ST-W48 blasters also taken from her collection.
After receiving a scanned image of the single page covered with Sith writing her agent in Arkania had sent after stealing the page, Xiù had made the journey to Falleen Throne alone to visit her collection and use some of the tomes within it to translate the page, which she learns is an alchemical formula for mutating a Rancor into a winged Rancor-dragon; an intriguing prospect that makes her begin thinking of how she might go about acquiring one of the beasts so that she can further hone her skills in the art of Sith alchemy. The undertaking will, naturally, require that her agent on Arkania successfully recover the remainder of the tome the page came from, but Xiù has faith in the agent's skills and trusts that she will be able to begin the endeavor soon enough.
