Enough talk. Enough lies by people unfit to polish a man's boots. Enough. Action was necessary at times. Leaping into a manned Sentinel, as all ships were save personal ships, or else they would never get off the ground, the girl flew into action. The ship lifted off, three Togorian Commando and 10 Viper droids onboard

The wind picked up in Juvex City that day and shipped the city near into submission. To such a degree that all nonessential work was stopped until further notice. But rain was only reported in a select few locations. The Utopic Vulture was pounded. But last five meters away from it on all sides nothing fell. Grace went about her day ignoring the feel occurrence and The Raven sat on a perch watching her. The Hound lay out the event oblivious to any disturbance. Boland too worked inside the ship with Maureen following him. At one point she muttered matter of factly -Maureen- "An Tiarna's not happy and the sky is crying...." Boland stopped cold for a minute but accepting what she said as a statement of fact he went back to work. Why have the Holo net news when he had the kid?

Kieran and Laoch were walking tall through the streets of Juvex City. And in a freak weather phenomenon a single very small cloud hung above the pair, pouring rain down on them. Indeed it appeared to be directly targeting the two men -Kieran- "All of this is your fault." His brother answered to the cold accusation - Laoch- "How exactly is that may I ask?" The chance to respond was lost to Kieran as two Juvexians, with briefcases and umbrellas brushed past. Our boys, ones to never allow an opportunity slide by, right mitts slipping into left of coat jackets and coming out with a chunk in hand, followed the pair. Two shots rang out. And Kieran and Laoch walked out several minutes later, each now holding a briefcase and umbrella

A shuttle could be seen in the distance plummeting towards the city. It made a rocky but successful landing in the IF sector and the cast of characters tumbled out. What a joke the woman thought; went expecting maybe a fight... Or at least an argument. She wondered if anything dietary was ailing Nexus. Maybe Daideo was right? "The kid's a horny idiot." So The Old man would say. Maybe.... The bald guy needed some anger management obviously. Or better put a few minutes alone with somebody who needed anger management. Shaking her head -Morrigan- "I should have brought them all cry towels...." The three Togorian Commando exited as did the crew of five

The woman lie still in dreamless sleep. The Old man's words made her subconsciously smile . But the woman did not wake. Yet she added -Morrigan- "He wouldn't answer straight just snuck and jive...." And she slipped back into a deep subconscious state

Boland woke ealy. Looking out a window and seeing that this was not a bad dream, the man crawled back into bed. And Grace rewarded him by rolling over and kneeing him in the nuts. He did not scream.... He did not strike out.... He simply lay silent in agonizing pain holding his groin. The Raven watched filled with delight. And Maureen and The Hound both lay side by each, mouths open and snoring

Morrigan walked along through the city. Cue ball's pathetic threat would come back to haunt him. Oh my he had a hard on for Seanathair. But then again so did a lot of people. Many no longer were.... So, good luck to the moron. How did An Tiarna put it? Right! 'All talk; no cock'. Had a way with words....

*Call it whatever you wish, foresight, Devine intevention, women's intuition... ok maybe scratch the last but something inspired Colonel O'Dubhui and his get up and go ripped into high speed. Exacting preparations for what would seem the the invasion of Normandy took off. It goes without saying that Sergeant Slaughter followed suit and consequently the same may be said of their squad of commando. Colonel O'Dubhui Commed Lt. Plunkett, although the man was but 20 meters away and filled him in on his movements*

Plunkett opened his Comm. before it buzzed twice and listened silently. After equally quiet discussion with his men they too began getting organized. What appeared to be bedlam was in fact an example of military discipline. Plunkett collected himself in minutes. And then he watched. He was proud of his men

The Universe moved. Well everything within the Universe moved. We think. And none of that is of direct immediate consequence to what was happening right there at that moment aboard the YT 1300 Corellian light freighter The Utopic Vulture. Grace saw the sudden shift in pace among the commando troops around them. Boland to was alerted to the sudden movement by the troops. He quietly spoke with Grace and both began, for lack of a better word, mobilizing themselves. The pair were so efficient Plunkett or O'Dubhui would draft them in a heartbeat. Grace stopped for a long minute tending to her left eye, or better put The hole where her left eye once sat. The Raven too could feel the anticipation but the bird just sat perched high and observed. Sitting and coloring in a book the little girl commented casually -Maureen- "Boland, did you know An Tiarna hangs out with an Angel now?" Boland answered matter of factly -Boland- "Well fancy that." He'd pick a bit deeper but tried not to overreact to any of the supernatural abilities the girl possessed

The girl, now woman, strolled the area, know to the locals as "IF land" thinking of the past. Told to leave The Mortus? She laughed. Priceless. Strange Universe this was indeed. She wondered if Kegan would have been as polite as her. Then again the man transparently had no clue who he was addressing. So on she walked deep in thought but keenly aware of her surroundings. She was also aware of the three Togs tracking her. Shaking head she laughed. They were her big brothers. Family. Again the word. Ayden Dace... Connor Tiarna... Kegan. Dagobah. After some time she turned to check out how far she had wandered. Wow. And she locked up. Jules Juvex Discount Spaceport. Looked pretty discount. Walking towards the entrance a transient approached her. Saving his life she tossed him a handful of credits and said -Morrigan- "Hey you can see the giant furry dudes tracking me...." Smiling - Morrigan- "Overprotective brothers." No reason to dispatch the poor man herself ; he was poor and hungry. And after he spotted the massive men following her the man had no reason to stick around and every reason to split the scene. Problem solved she entered. Three big cat people armed to the teeth followed close behind. She strolled the area, finding herself on the forth story launch platform. Head drawing back and eyes widening she was it just sitting there. A T65B X wing. Sweet she thought.... Sweet. Now, Dagobah was in the Outer Rim West.... This was the Mid Rim. And she could steal and fly a ship. Had been flying not that long after she learned to walk. Again her siblings crossed her mind. but She feared that She would see none of them anytime soon. if ever. Whereas the ship sat right in front of her.... What to do. Right then a voice so loud just started talking. Daideo. She missed him dearly. And the Old Teddy bear, or to most others Monster Man, was about as far away as it gets. And again she noted, the ship was right there. Security was pretty lax, or nonexistent. And the locks And alarms on the ship were playdough. Quick look side to side. Up. People always neglect to look up. Flaw common among people, so she'd learned very young. She learned many a thing as a child. Care of? Grampa. She had breached the ship and was onboard in a snap toying with instruments. She could hear the Old man speaking to her. And she could hear the voice of reason too. Exiting the ship she left it very much the way it was, less a few alarms and hatch unlocked. She left much as she came, retracing her steps until she was back where she began. A dead end. Poetic that The pipes were silent but the bodhran best ceaselessly

Plunkett had his men moving. For what he didn't know but High Alert was maintained. And the bodhran best ceaselessly in the backdrop. And as Plunkett scrambled to prepare, across town General Drab of the Juvexian National Guard was being schooled by one General Annihilate on just now to handle trrorists. And then some. As those posted at the boarder of IF territory and their own began to become noticeably agressive, eight sniper teams of two, a spotter and a sniper set up behind. In addition, two light artillery crews were stationed behind with the Star Wars equivalent of 76mm (9 pounder) guns. Too extreme you say? of Are you drunk; these people were thoroughly dangerous. And when all fell in line, when the foreigners were sitting ducks they opened up. Togorian and Juvexian troops alike were riddled with shells. The remains of which were later hung on posts, horrifically violated them horrifically violated again. They were doused in rocket fuel from their ships, set slight and the remains brought down and dragged around the town by beasts of burden. Not a pretty sight. Two Togs of the crew managed to survive and slip away. These men stole for the colonel's position

The Old colonel too bad his men fully mobilized. He was uncertain as to the why but his gut feeling acted inspired him. And when the barrage began O'Dubhui hit the deck. And much like the brilliantly trained, ultra Force sensitive Jedi mysteriously went down like total punks on Revenge of the Sith, Colonel O'Dubhui's seven Juvexians were riddled with fire to such an extreme that perfect strangers wept openly at the sight of the remains left behind. Sgt Slaughter, three Togorian Commando and Colonel O'Dubhui took shelter and returned fire. Juvexian dropped in mass. Troops. Paras, or Police were open targets. Civilians in the way were wasted. The shooting stopped quite suddenly andvthr whole situation came down to a Mexican Standoff. All froze and Colonel O'Dubhui frantically began contacting ftiends. And foe

The woman walked the line that separated us from them. Was very hard to judge just where that dividing barrier was anymore. Not here where they had Juvexian troops on one side and her IF veterans on the other. She desperately wanted to go to Dagobah. Desperately wanted her sibblings. Everything was upside down at the moment. Everything. But things would straighten out. "All things to those who waited.' Favorite of the Old man. Dead man now she guessed. Was hard for her to internalize that cold fact. But it was. The bodhran pounded out incessantly beat but was momentarily overrode by a down to earth musical number. A woman with an almost eerie voice screeched. Morrigan was captivated by the rhythm and indeed even more so by the vocals. The whole number was simply riveting. She could make out little clearly but one line repeated struck and stuck with her: "One more mile...." Would be One long agonising mile she thought. Then a vision from her past came to her. From deep inside. A care facility on Coruscant that she'd visited in her time traveling with The Old man. She winced. What was the name? Snapping fingers she smiled: Prolong. that was it! Spooky names people place on such institutions, so she thought. Nostrils rising unconsciously as she remembered the putrid smell of those dying. Incontinence. What an ugly word. The whole place was utterly horrifing. Held 140 people. on average five died every week. That was a lot of dead people in a year. "Visiting a friend." he'd said. She never knew what inspired him to bring her. No matter, although it did not callous her to the value of human life, the experience certainly hardened her to many opinions concerning death. "End of life" they called it there. Sighing she muttered "One more mile...." As she continued the constitutional. The last mile was what they called the walk to execution she thought. And as many thought of sunshine, lollipops and rainbows as they strolled Morrigan engaged this rather morbid mental exercise And she walked straight into the firefight

The hailstorm of rounds that hailed down was a start. Boland tossed Grace to the floor and with a gesture had Maureen do the same. Right on top of The hound, as the kid wanted to protect the dog. Yes. You read that right. A little girl was afraid her wolfhound might get hurt. The Raven conversely sat right where it was. He did do two things. Firstly, he shielded the ship. Secondly, he reached out with all the knarly powers he possessed and isolated the cause of this onslaught. He found one General Annihilate Looking deeper he found a slight heart murmur. And he cranked that sucker up to ten.... Then he cranked it to 11. Just like on Spinal tap. And big bad General Annihilate was toast in well... A heartbeat, mind the pun. Cardiac arrest pales as a term describing what occurred in that man's chest. Spontaneous combustion might work better. No matter, the man dropped to the floor dead as dead can be. General Drab fan over the body, punching one man in the face and tearing a radio from hands -General Drab- "Ceasefire!!! Ceasefire you fucking idiots! Ceasefire!" He then contacted the adversary. Oh the humanity

At the sound of shots Morrigan dropped and rolled behind a small ship. Coming up to her knees with pistol in hands she slowly her swept the area with her eyes. Two Juvexian NG caught a slug immediately. Then another. The outburst of fire was actually over quite quickly. She moved to open her Comm. but received a call before she could make any herself. If she could get to her ship that would serve as a base of operations. She could feel the Togs behind her. Three men. Then it hit her. And it was over before she had a chance to think. The entrance wound, behind her ear, was small. On the other side her Face was blown off. She crumbled to the ground in a heep. Two of the Togs setting aim on where the fire came from tagged several Juvexian NG Troops. But nothing was bringing the girl's life back. A Tog shouldered the body and his two comrades covered him as they brought her body to a ship. The ship was then struck by an errant Juvexian missel. Then another. The explosion was horrific. La de da de da. And fuck this bullshit

And The space of 20 minutes one deranged Juvexian general showed exactly how long a group of monster commando led by a Force user would stand up out in the open against a few snipers with high powered rifles. Not pretty. Can we all repeat Revenge of the Sith? Ouch. Colonel O'Dubhui had been singing about the great benefit of flak jackets, helmets and such for years. But who was he the old warrior thought.... Two of Plunkett's men managed to join them. Add in the little spoken of piper and bodhran drummer and that made 4 of Plunkett's people. Add in O'Dubhui's little drummer boy plus his three Togs and you had eight. Not bad all things considered. O'Dubhui lost his ship but commandeered Plunkett's vessel, The Fart in a Windstorm and the ships crew of two After the ceasefire, two of O'Dubhui's men tagged ten Juvexians, three sniper , two artillery and five front line on the barrier. The colonel brought all hostilities to a halt among his men. On a loudspeaker he bellowed to all -Colonel O'Dubhui- "This little show is over.... Amadan.... From here in it we are fired on we return fire - indiscriminately! Over!" Their position made clear, two men were sent to check out Boland and his lot. Orders were given to direct and aid civilian cleanup of the mess left from the battle O'Dubhui isolated a garden plot in the city. A deal was struck and they assumed control. A ditch was dug. 10 meters long; three wide and two deep. Two separate graves were dug. Two meters deep; a meter long; a meter wide. Graves O'Dubhui himself left to approach this Grace. Standing heir to the Dubh dynasty and all of the money Morrigan had secured. One rich little woman she now was

Our bizarre intergalactic nuclear family, nuclear as in extremely volatile and toxic, was locked up safe from the world external to their ship, and the same world safe from then. The hound lay on his back with Maureen practical on top of the poor besst. Boland was toying with something mechanical whilst burdening all with another tale of his exploits. Grace sat quietly thinking. She may well have looked relaxed, comatose might apply better as a descriptive word but inside a fire raged. $$$$$. ? Who do I owe now? How much? Death. Who? Responsibility. For what now? Standing she walked. Ankles were killing her. So was her power back. And the nausea.... At the very word she bolted for the facilities. Kneeling at the foot of the porcelain alter she wretched. And out came the contents of her stomach. Most went in the bowl. The rest went every way but the toilet. At last standing on weak legs she slowly collected herself. Toothpaste? At the very thought she almost puked a second time. But she did the unpleasant deed. Walking out and walking to a window she could see O'Dubhui and muttered -Grace- "This is gonna hurt...." And she waited

Colonel O'Dubhui walked slow towards the freighter. Long loc!k box in one her by side handle in left hand, cane in right. He found that he needed the cane more as of late. Age. The Man had a duffle bag on his right shoulder too. Stopping at the front of the vessel the latch came open slow like in some horror story. Without a second thought O'Dubhui ascended the walkway and disappeared into the ship. And there she was. Setting down the box and unshouldering the bag he took off his hat - "Dia dhuit a Grainne."
