*It wasn't until Thea asked him how he knew everyone in the crew that it occurred to Atton that he really didn't know anyone in the crew beyond their names. He had only spoken to Adi and E'yame before the mission, and then of course Adi literally threw Atton off the Wayward Son. Other than that, he really didn't personally know anyone in the crew. Hell, Thea would be the first one he would talk to for any length of time besides Adi.
He shrugged.*"To be honest, I barely know anyone in the crew. I was kind of a last minute addition to the rescue mission. So yeah I really don't know any of these crazy people." *He sighed.*"So if I may ask, how'd you end up in all this craziness? You don't strike me as the adventuring type." *True, appearances could be deceiving, but from what he had first seen of her in the hangar, she didn't appear to have any kind of training.* Thea looked at him and tried to hide the darkness in her face. Her memory flashed scenes of the dark room. How cold and dirty she was. How alone she felt. No one had searched for her, or asked where she was. That didn't necessarily surprise her. She didn't really hang out with people. Mostly she spent her time alone, studying the next best thing in medicine. Ever since her parents had died, she had always been alone. Now? Now she was surrounded by people and faces that she didn't know. They were her saviors and she felt indebted to them. As her mind drifted, she looked down at her shoes, a lone tear sliding down her cheek, making it's mark on her skin. "I-I am not o-one for adventures..."She stopped and swallowed hard. A lump rising in her throat. "I was kidnapped 4 or was it 5.....months ago. I can't remember. Time didn't pass like normal where I was. Y-you guys saved me."She finally looked up at him, as more tears descended from her eyes. She probably looked like a mess and she had no clue why she was sharing this with a total stranger."But I finally made it home, sort of. I live here, in Theed."

In his defense... I was doing good til I fell into the lake during the excitement...
*Sin smiles tiredly, she was ready to go back to sleep again herself. She was still soaking wet. She bites her lip softly as she watches Raven's work, she had seen bacta treatment alot over her lifetime, but this was the first to see or experience a Jedi using their healing abilities. She watched quietly until she finished, it was strange to feel even. She looks up at Raven. She felt like giving the woman a hug... if she wasn't soaked. She instead offered up another smile.*
Its much better then when I came in here...
*Sin tilted her head to look at Anna again, listening to her words. She frowned.*
I'm sure you did all you could.
*Sin looked down at her hands on her lap. She ran her finger in circles on her leg idly as Anna went on to speak of how proud her mother would be. That she was even impressed with her. Just like everyone else had said. And she should take it as a good thing, her confidence should be through the roof. She knew she could do better, she'd do so next time. *
I couldn't give up. They were counting on me... Next time I will do even better! I promise. There will be no mistakes.

Raven Smiled at Sinina, as she started to regain some of her confidence. Slowly standing to her feet, the Jedi tottered just a little and offered Sinina a hand. Mistakes are what makes us human....or, even Echani. We learn with each mistake we make. She looked at Anna with a thin smile. You've both been through a very long day. Anna- I'm...very glad we found you. I'm very glad you reached out. She gave the Seer a deep apologetic look, but did not say anything about it. Turning to Sinina, her smile returned. Come on. I'll walk you to your room before turning in for the night myself, alright?

Loki sighed as he looked down at Anna, then his feet. He felt his skin itch where the lightning had struck, though Anna's body was much worse, he looked at Raven as she healed Sinina. Raven was an Enigma for a Jedi, helping anyone and everyone, and talking to them too, inwardly he wondered how she hadn't been killed yet, but then he remembered the battleground he had awoken to after fighting the Array, and while Sninia had helped, Raven had done the brunt of the defending against those men, perhaps there was more to this little Jedi then he had at first thought, he cleared his throat as if to remind everyone he was still there. "I don't trust him." He said inclining his head towards the direction he had last seen Dom had gone. "He speaks many truth's but I feel there are parts missing, which mean's he trained in how to give information but not reveal a thing, I believe he may be a Mandolorian."Loki stated flatly, not aware that Dom was not a Mando at all. "Though who knows perhaps he is telling the truth, I...I don't know anything anymore.." Loki suddenly whispered, his single eye fluttering as he fell back against the wall and slid down, the past few days finally catching up with him, the changes in his emotional state and mental processing finally collapsing the massive being.. He looked up at Raven a look of bewilderment etched into the single eye he had, his brow furrowed as he looked down between his knees and remained silent..

All the more reason to be glad that the lab was destroyed...
Atton put his plate down(he had wolfed down his sandwich already) and put a hand on her shoulder.*"It'll be all right. Like you said, you're home now." *He wasn't sure if this was helping at all. For the most part, he had never thought of himself as someone who could provide comfort in a moment of weakness. Hopefully this helped even a little bit...*

I know Raven... I still know i coulda done better.
*She sighed softly as she starts to get up. She frowns as she looked away from Raven to fixate on Loki. She wasn't sure what had got into him.. But He didn't seem very Loki like to her.. She walked up to him, the limp now just because she was stiffened up, she figured she'd be fine after a nice rest. She stops before Loki, even on his knees she barely was at eye level with him it seemed. She still felt small at any rate. She wanted to hug him, but she was soaked and did not want to get him wet. She draws her hand back and smacked his cheek, not hard, it wouldn't even hurt, more just to grab his attention, then she rested her hands on his shoulders and stared into his "eyes" with her silver gaze. Maybe this was too bold... But she couldn't just leave him there on the floor like that..*
Get ahold of yourself. You are Loki. You are the reason I am able to stand before you today. Powerful warrior. Fiercely loyal friend. Watchful Protector. Now get up off this floor. Come with me. We'll get you to bed.
*She stopped a moment, she felt way more Matronly then she expected or wanted to. Maybe it was her mother coming out in her. Maybe she was just that worried about Loki. She stared at him a moment longer, hoping he didn't flip at what she'd done or said. She was fairly certain she was safe, but seeing sides of him she hadn't before... made her a bit nervous about it. She waits a moment longer then stands back a step, urging him to get up to follow them. She looks at Ravie.*
Wheather he comes or not... I think I'm ready to head back to bed at least... Let us go.
*She starts to turn to move back to Raven, looking back at Loki, hopeful he would follow. She bites her lip softly, giving him the chance to come along, but if he didn't, she would leave for bed with just Raven. Though, if he didn't follow she would worry even more and likely would not sleep very well.*

Post by Farris Argon Noble on Nov 10, 2016 22:15:51 GMT -8
Farris listened to Loki speak and shrugged slightly. If there's one thing I'm good at- aside from open heart surgery, it's keeping an eye on people. He gave a thin smile. But I must say, the Man kept Thea alive- even when he had hardly no incentive to do so. Let the man lie if it makes him feel safer. I lie all the time. He glanced at the door, picked up his bag and began to walk out, giving Anna a look that told her not to stumble off anywhere. For example, He said with a thin smile to everyone, as he stepped one foot out of the door. I'm not really a doctor. And he was gone. He didn't run, keeping a normal pace- but he did close the door behind him so the others would have to open it in order to catch him, should they want to. How Loki didn't pick up on this lie? Perhaps because he never actually claimed to be a doctor. Either way- Farris was quite confidant he'd not be followed, and if he was, they wouldn't get to him before he managed to find a room all his own.
Once he entered the room, he put his bag down, slipped off his cote and placed it on the bed. Closing the door, he undressed completely- and then splayed his fingers, depositing the impressive array of needles, holo emitters , tools and even weapons out on the bed. Picking up his cloths, he placed them over his things and then went into the bathroom. Figuring he was sufficiently' empty, the Polydroxol made sure the bath tub was completely plugged, and then stepped inside. Closing his eyes and bowing his head, the silver being began to loose his shape almost immediately, almost completely filling up the tub with his mass. A good night's sleep of shapelessness would heal his unseen injuries faster than anything else. He just hoped no one would disturb him....that would be...awkward.
Anna blinked at the Echani. Why in the universe was she seeking her approval. Anna wasn't anyone special- except for the knowing the future thing. But other people had different gifts. She didn't deserve anyone's respect right now, at least in her mind anyway. When Loki spoke of Dominic Anna's eyes closed and she shook her head. He isn't dangerous....at least not right now. She murmured. Her eyes flitted to Raven with a nod. I know you want to talk Master Alora. There will be time for that. But until then, know that I don't hold anything against you. She frowned suddenly and took in a breath, adding in a deadly serious tone. And Master Alora- Don't go outside until morning. Blinking rapidly, she glanced over at Farris, and lurched forward as if to speak to him, but after his bombshell of a lie, revealed, the shape shifter had fled the scene. Anna couldn't help but smile slightly as she lay back and closed her eyes. Sleep took her far quicker than she anticipated.

Raven nodded slowly, smiling as Sinina managed to stand on her own. Her knee would be just fine. Loki spoke of Dominic and Raven shook her head. He is absolutely not a doctor, that's for sure. I acted like I believed him just to make him feel better about himself. But- I didn't sense any malicious intent from him, at least, not regarding us. He seemed more confused than anything. She glanced at loki with worry behind her small brown eyes. You feel confused also. Try not to overthink what's happening Loki. Even when we're adults- our emotions continue to develop and change. She gave the Zabrak a confident smile, before looking at Anna as she spoke. Alora's shoulders relaxed when the Seer said she held nothing against the Jedi- but then her tone turned darker, and Raven nodded slowly. I'll ...take your word for it. Good night Anna., try to get some sleep. And then Farris claimed he wasn't a doctor. While Alora's eyes widened slightly, she failed to speak about it as the Polydroxol left. She let Sin kneel before Loki, giving her time to express herself to the Zabrak. She was proud of the young girl, who had seemed to timid when they first met- now standing up to the larger man, twice. A smile rested on her face. When Sinina returned to her- Raven waited on Loki to stand, if he would, and walk out with them. When they reached Sinina's room, Raven paused, looking up at the Echani. You've had a rough day- but you've shown your bravery and honor so many times on this mission. The smaller woman forwent propriety and suddenly embraced the Echani, despite her soaked clothing. Alora really didn't care. It was an privilege fighting along side you. Good night. Nodding to Loki- if he did in fact follow them, Alora went to her room and closed the door. Pulling off her robe, leaving her in a loose shirt and pants, she took a step toward the bed and suddenly fell to her knees as a fire ripped to her chest. Reaching up, she felt the pulsating energy from the mark rippling outward, and she hissed in pain. Closing her eyes, her mind pulled her quickly to the ship- to the Zabrak's room, and to the dagger. She could see exactly where it was, calling to her. With almost gasping breaths, the Jedi managed to stand back up and shake her head. I see what you mean Anna.... She murmured. For the next few minutes, she set about taking any moveable piece of furniture and shoving it against the door- except the bed. Just so she'd have some obsticles to overcome should she wake up in the middle of the night, not in her right mind. It would probably make it annoyingly difficult to get into her room, but that was a risk the Jedi was willing to make. With that done- Alora put a hand to her chest and bombarded the mark with Ashla's light. It hurt, so terribly- but eventually the crimson light ebbed away from her chest and she was left with a balanced, even warm feeling, as she lay in the bed and fell asleep- hopefully for the whole night through.

He could feel it. The slow pull. He had felt it before, many times. Once before while training, many times on the field. The pull of death, luring the spirit out of the body.
It was gradual, and you could never know it was there unless you had felt it before, and dealt it to many, many others. It held him. His brain was shutting down. It hadn't been rejuvenated within 18 hours, and so it was slowly killing itself, not providing it's own chemicals to keep it alive and functioning. In his sleep, Dominic started to drift. But he knew this.
With all his might and willpower, with every ounce he's used to fight before, he opened his eyes and jolted up straight, taking in a large gasp as he did so. He was covered in cold sweat, the sheets of the bed stuck to him. He felt like he was dying. And he was. His hands kept shaking, even as he swung his legs off the edge and gripped the sheets until his hands turned white. His eyelids were drooping, covering half of his vision. He needed to move.
He stood out of bed like a drunk, taking a few steps to the wall to steady himself. He was still wearing his clothes, not bothering to dress down for sleep. He started to slide down back towards the ground, his body not willing to exert the effort to stand. No. He stood back up, went back to his bedside and picked up his handgun. The metal sights were sturdy, small, and a little nice corner. He took it by the barrel of the gun, and pressed the metal sight into his left shoulder after pulling up the short sleeve. With gritting teeth, he raked it down his shoulder a few inches. It tore into his skin, blood instantly coming through and pain signals shooting off to his brain. It didn't go too deep, but it was enough to wake him up. His eyes opened up fully now, he took in his first real breath of being fully conscious, and walked out of the door.
Dominic stumbled out of his room, and took a look down both directions in the hallway. That bot.... it had spoke of a kitchen here. That meant supplements of sorts. Something he could use to keep himself alive for a few more hours. Sugar would be easy...
He was able to walk down the hallway with his back straight, putting a hand to his shoulder to reduce the small amount of bleeding on his shoulder. As he walked past a window, he saw the sun was just coasting up the horizon, day break was soon.
With a little bit of luck and tracing his steps, he was able to find the kitchen. It didn't seem to have been in use for years, maybe longer, but a look in the food stores revealed some sugar. Good thing that it never expired. He grabbed a hand full and dumped it in his mouth, then took more and shoved it into his pockets for later times. It would be a small relieve, and it wouldn't last for long. He just really needed to get to the hotel... Good thing Loki wanted to leave at Dawn. That was any minute now. He stowed the sugar back where it was, the bleeding on his arm had stopped itself, the black T hiding the small spot of blood.
He quickly located a lavatory and with it and it's mirror and water, made himself look completely fine and ready for the day. He made sure to clean off his gun and his shoulder and his shirt, drying all and then wetting his hair a little. He stared at himself in the mirror. With his fine acting skills of one who goes undercover all the time, he looked completely fine. But inside? His body was starting to shut itself down.

*Sin sighs exasperatedly at Loki's unresponsive form. If she could make him, she would totally get him up and take him to a bed. But she was far to exhausted for that, so there he would have to stay. She couldn't just leave him though, she walked over to grab a warm blanket and drap it over him. She smiles a little more satisfied at least. She turns back to Raven and nods that she was ready. She had said her piece, she had made Loki as comfortable as one on the floor could be. She walked along with Raven, and when they stopped at the door, She smiles at Raven.*
It was good... Wasn't it.. Goodnight..
*She smiles more as she turned to step into her own room. She closed the door and leaned on it. She felt good about how many compliments she had got. She walks across to her bed, she shrugged off the coat, then her wet clothing. She sighs as she pulled the covers back and curled up under them, soon she felt warm and relaxed and was soon fast asleep.*

Rest felt so good even with the strange manner in which she came by a normal sleep cycle. And everything was running smoothly till her third bout of REM- which happened quite out of order. Within her mind- she felt a chill race through her, and the Jedi's eyes fluttered opened- only to stare up into the crimson orbs of an all too familiar face. I'm not telling you where your Seer is. Go away.
~You Jedi never let anyone speak first~ Legion said with a disappointed sigh. He shook his head, glaring down at the Jedi, with a thoughtful look on his ashen features- stroking his chin with nearly skeletal fingers. ~What makes you think she means anything to us?~ He suddenly leaned down closer, reaching out that same hand and extending a long white finger toward the Jedi. ~Now we're much more connected to...you.~ His fingertip just barely touched Raven's chest, and he smiled an elongated smile as the mark eagerly flared to life.
Surprised at the painful crescendo after such a building of uneasy stress, Raven shouted, jolting backwards, as if in retreat from the creature's encroaching presence. Of course, in reality, she didn't make a sound. ~That may be, but it doesn't change anything between us. Just because you lost one slave, doesn't mean you'll have any more sway over me than before.~ Alora fought to retrieve her breath. Just the gentle touch of his finger had felt like a knife to the chest. But the Jedi knew that even if this was a very real vision- and not a dream, Legion couldn't effect her this far away from his prison. The mark was responding to her thoughts- not his power. And so, she tried to center her mind. I had the power to isolate you in your own prison. It only stands to reason that I have the power to keep you there.~
~Bah! Ahahaha! You stole that power from- your- enemy, Jedi! And you payed a terrible price for it....didn't you?~ His unbridled wicked laughter stopped abruptly as he started to speak, even in a strangely sympathetic tone. He frowned as the Jedi started to retain her composure, and he sighed almost sadly as she boasted of her ability to resist him. It was all so very sad. ~But Jedi- While your strength, I'm sure, is deemed admirable, you have a gift, my seer never possessed.~
~Really...~ Raven muttered as she sat up straighter in the bed and glared back at the demon. The mark still burned, but like normal, she had put it out of her mind. ~And what gift would that be?~
~Your Empathy~ Legion said, drawing somewhat closer, sounding strangely hopeful, not at all the threatening tone he normally took. ~You above all others, can feel the agony we feel. You can understand our sorrow. You can fully comprehend the terrible curse you, Jedi, have placed upon us.~ His wistful tone dropped off quickly, into a hissed, fiery rage. His fist clinched. His eyes blazed and the force around Raven's throat began to tighten.
~That....won't work... on me, Demon. All my life... I've learned how to...focus on my emotions, and tone out even the most powerful ones from another.~ Raven gasped, closing her eyes and focusing on her breathing. ~Find a different way to defeat me. You cannot control me with only your emotions. I'm sorry.~
~But....don't you see? It's not only my emotions.~ Legion said, the smile returning to his face- stretching his expression in a disturbing, unnatural way. All around the room- pares of shining eyes blinked into existence- different faces, different expressions, each more disfigured than the last. Legion's voice split into that iconic multiple nature, as if thousands of clambering voices suddenly said the same thing all at once. ~It is our emotions. We are Legion, and you will feel our anguish! Our pain, will be your agony. Our anger will be your rage. Our isolation will be your prison!~
~You will NOT overpower me!~ Raven shouted in defiance as she tore off the bed covers, and jolted in surprise. The mark was expanding, black runic letters expanding out from their center, crawling over her flesh, down her arms and legs. No wonder she suddenly felt like thousands of pins pricking her everywhere. Lifting her right hand up before her eyes, she saw the runs twine around her fingers. Tremors ran up and down her frame, causing her to stumble to the ground as she attempted to free herself of the bed. ~This... IS just ....a vision. It isn't real. You cannot ... maintain it.~ She stammered as her hands hit the solid floor. Instantly the many cloaked figures flew upon her- save their center, Legion, who stood serenely in the middle of them, watching passively as his vestiges drug the Jedi to her feet and began pulling and clawing at her ravenously.
~Oh Jedi... I do not need to maintain anything, Not when you're doing a perfectly good job of prolonging this, on your own.~ With a measured stride, Legion approached her. The other figures gripped her with many firm, gnarled hands, holding her fast. ~I'm only here as a reminder. You'll never be rid of us....unless- I suppose, you release us from that very unproductive prison on Felucia.~ He reached out and cupped Raven's face in his hand, turning her eyes up to look at him. With his other hand, he lifted two fingers, gently brushing their clawed tips over Raven's small brown eyes, threateningly. ~Or, I suppose, You could ask Anna how she broke her tie with me. I don't think you would survive her method though.~
Raven quavered and closed her eyes. She clinched her teeth and fought through the clambering emotions pulverizing her mental defenses. She found stability in the light, and she let that light build within her center. With a shout, she shot out her arms, pushing the figures back and dispelling several of them in a wave of light energy as it pulsed from her. ~That....Is not happening. The only person in this galaxy you will torment now is me. And when I die- your influence will die with me.~
~That is a very noble ending isn't it? But how long, can you withstand thousands of pain stricken emotions, constantly seeking a home in your understanding consciousness? You're so.....forgiving, so, kind, so....vulnerable.~ Legion hissed, as the surroundings lit on fire. Even the walls caught flames. Only the door remained in tact, with fiery pieces of furniture between the Jedi and the way out- ironically the same barricades Raven had placed herself, to keep her contained. And suddenly, the runes, now crawling all over her body ignited as well.
~I will last as long as I need to!~ Alora shouted, thrusting out her right hand and pulling on the force, despite the fiery agony she now found herself in. She pushed the burning objects to either side of the room and started stumbling to the door- which, looks much farther away than it really should be. ~I will not accept your pain as my own.~ She stumbled to her knees and continued toward the door. ~I will not be overcome by your rage.~ From her position on the ground, she saw strange slithering shapes gliding along the ground toward her. Quickly, she staggered to her feet, and started to run- as quickly as her unstable body would let her. ~And I am NOT your prisoner!~ The strange slender figures along the ground suddenly coiled about the Jedi's ankles, easily taking her unsteady body to the ground. Only then did she make the horrifying realization that they were heavy black chains.
The other figures had vanished, and Legion stood before Raven now, hand out stretched as he lifted her to a standing position with the force. With delicate manipulation, he continued twining the chains around her small frame until the two ends rested neatly against her neck. With gentle motions, the demon took a lock and clasped it around the chain's two ends with a resounding click. ~No, Raven Alora. We are not your captors.~ He said softly, as he pulled her closer to him and caressed her cheek with his other hand. He spoke sadly. ~You are.~
With a shove, Raven felt herself falling. Legion's figure vanished. The flames flickered out of existence, leaving behind a room, with toppled furniture everywhere, and scattered random objects everywhere else. Sunlight came through the window, striking the figure of Raven Alora, huddled up against the door, knees pulled up to her chest and right arm gripping the wirey remains of her left cybernetic arm. She was rigid, with clinched eyes, unmoving, almost as if she still believed herself wrapped so tightly in those heavy chains, weather she created them, or not.

A distant part of Loki felt Sin toss the blanket over him, another felt gratitude another felt weak... He slowly slipped into unconsciousness at the foot of the Seer's bed, his eyelid closing heavily on the blurry room.
The blast doors slid open and in strode a golden armored figure with helm underhand, as he strode forward the men on the bridge of a massive Star destroyer stood and bowed before their master, a whole Loki stood before them. Silver lightsaber hilts hanging from a belt wrapped around his armor, tattered Sith robe's hung from the shoulders of the armor like a cape, in the distance Coruscant loomed, and on the sides of the ally that his ship seemed to be made for a battle so fierce it rivaled the clone wars battle that had taken place here, on the sides and behind Loki's ship thousands of destroyers, frigates and other ships streamed forward, they were all painted red and yellow. Loki smiled his pointed teeth gleaming. "Captain, full speed, the Sith council has done as promised, to the planet we go!" Loki turned and strode from the bridge, entering a lift he was whisked away to his waiting men in the drop pod bays, for his ships were outfitted for two types of war, that in space and that upon the ground, and he himself would lead this battle on his own, as his special lift dropped him upon a balcony, below tens of thousands of armored men and aliens waited he walked to a podium proudly his armor gleaming in the lights of the bay. He clicked on the all ships comm and smiled, all one million men and their dark sider officers and Lord's militant would hear this speech, he slammed his helm down upon the podium as a banner baring the symbol of a planet surrounded by teeth descended from behind him, video too was sent to the waiting ships and the pilots flying in defensive patterns were patched in, but the fighting rarely got close to this massive fleet of destruction moving up the center. Loki cleared his throat as he looked into the camera then the eyes of the men assembled before him. Behind the men silver plated Orb's began to get placed down, with a single gold one in the middle.
"Today!" He roared. "Today we break the Jedi! Today we break the republic!" He roared, and waited for a moment as applause and blood thirsty howls filled the bay, it was echoed in thousands of ships, the hall's rattling. "The Sith have paved our way! Today we fill our blood lust, the Jedi shall never recover! And when it ends, we shall rule the galaxy! We will strip it from the hands of the Sith council just as we strip the republic!" Loki roared, yes he himself was a Sith Lord, but as a student of Bane, he disdained the council and senate. "For I am your Lord Militant! And I demand your blood!" More roars and this time stamping of feet, and weapons. "To battle! To death! FOR THE BLOOD GODS!" Loki bellowed screaming the lies he had fed these men for more than ten years, as he crawled the ranks. Loki strode down the ramp towards his own pod, his elite guard forming up behind him, as the men cheered, and in the other ships they did the same...
::Five minutes to drop Zone, for first wave.:: An automated voice bellowed from the bridge of the command ship, Loki entered his bay followed by his guard. It was almost time, in a mere moment 25,000 thousand blood thirsty warriors would fall from the sky, ten after that, another fifty, and so on, a million men would fall to the planet, thousands would perish before they made landfall, it was the largest operation in the history of the World Eaters, and they would win the day. ::Drop in five, four three, two, one...:: With a lurch the doors opened and the downward thrusters shot them into the atmosphere of the republic capital. Loki's pod was one of the first, and soon fire began to destroy pods to the left and right as hundreds and thousands plummeted towards the surface, suddenly Loki felt alarmed as his pod shook, blasting off the top layer door, he could see the planet now, as the city world rushed to meet his men, he smiled as his pod smashed through a building, slamming his helm upon his head, the pod was all but destroyed and the men inside dead. But Loki's armor had done its job as he slammed into the republic battle lines, it was quickly surrounded by republic soldiers and three Jedi knights other pods came down and hit other regions men streaming out killing all those that stood in their path, when a snap hiss rang out from the golden pod, the soldiers looked bewildered then crept closer as the Jedi leaders warned them, the figure darted forward and the battle was begun..
Loki woke with a start panting heavily. "I..Where...Who..." He muttered as the early visage of morning filtered through Anna's window. "A dream...." He muttered as he looked about him self he was on the floor and his neck hurt, a blanket rested on him, and he finally remembered Sin placing it on him, he sighed deeply and sat there dazed, those memories of his evil days scared him, could he escape his sins?

Anna's eyes slowly fluttered opened and she blinked a few times, getting use to the light. With disjointed movements she reached out with her arms and stretched- for the first time in what felt like forever. Though her hands were shaky and her arms were unsteady, it felt so refreshing to extend them. With a little effort, she rested them atop her stomach and peered up at the ceiling with a thoughtful expression. She hadn't slept so well in a very very long time. Even with everything going on while she was asleep- her mind had decided it wasn't important. For once, Fate was being kind to her. After a few minutes of just laying there, comfortably staring at the ceiling though, she became aware of another newly awakened presence in the room. With some effort, she turned her head over to look at the hunched Zabrak next to her bed. A thin smile came to her face, even though she could feel how distraught he was. She could not erase his past- but maybe, if Fate allowed her to, she could make his future a little better. Hey... She said softly, peering over at him. The bacta patches covering her burns still looked strange stuck to her face and head. She blinked a few times and frowned slightly. How bad do I look? you know....after yesterday?
She asked, lifting a shaky hand and fiddling with one of the bacta patches absentmindedly.

Loki looked over at Anna, and frowned at her question, then looked down at his own singed and torn robes. "Better than me I'm sure once those patches come off.." He said with a frown. "I am sorry our conversation was interrupted Anna." He said solemnly. "Kaja, seems to have taken my defense of you as a personal affront..." Loki said softly as he looked off into a corner. "I fear the old me, would surely agree with him, the old me was a monster, a scarier monster than any in your worst nightmare..." He whispered turning his eye towards her, he seemed less distraught now that he was awake, but still upset, he knew had work to do today, they would need food and supplies, and something was pulling him towards Theed. "Anna, am I making the right choices..Or was this path carved for us long ago by beings unseen?" He whispered turning his body to the edge of her bed.

A ripple. The outside temperature had risen just a couple of degrees. It signified to the metallic gray puddle in the bath tub that it was, indeed, morning. Slowly- like a man coming up for air in a mercury lake, Farris's face gently lifted from his greater substance. His face was blank, only roughly shaped like a humanoid head. And as he started to rise, two roughly shaped hands gripping the side of the tub and hoisting his formed half up- His nose, and eye indentations appeared. Eventually he managed to hoist a half formed leg over the side of the tub- then the other one, until he was finally standing upright. He glanced in the mirror as he tweaked his form and solidified his appearance.
After he was satisfied with his appearance, the Polydroxol walked out into the room and replaced his various items within himself and then got dressed. Rolling his shoulders, he took in a breath to test his chest and shook his head. It was a lot of work making a humanoid from scratch. Thankfully he had a very good memory. Still getting a feel of his legs again- Farris stumbled a little out of his room, and eventually found the kitchen. The tall silver being wasted no time in finding a jug of water in the chiller and beginning to chug it rapidly. He did- indeed, feel very much better after the night's rest and rejuvenation. The interesting thing though was Farris had failed to completely form his eyes- and right now they looked a lot like his eyelids had fused or something weird like that. Hopefully he'd remember to do that before he ran into someone.
Anna nodded slowly. I know. It's not your fault, Kaja misunderstood Fate's intentions. She said, flinching slightly at the memory. Rolling over onto her side, she looked at the Zabrak more fully and gave a small frown. You forget, Loki- I've seen who you were, and parts of who you will become. I've walked through your story- She said gently. Just as you, walked through mine... She gave a knowing smile- but it wasn't a particularly happy one. Loki probably knew more about her now than anyone else. But she wanted him to know that she was well aware of his trek through her life. As far as your path... I can't tell you that. Even if I did know- I wouldn't be allowed to say. I can tell you that- the right thing, doesn't always feel natural. She lifted her hand again, peering at her trembling fingers, silently wondering if she'd ever move properly again. The important thing is- those things you did in the past....will always be there. You can't bring the dead back to life- uh, so to speak- What you can do is decide weather you want to keep being that person- or be someone different. She frowned and glanced past the Zabrak. I don't really know who I am anymore. I guess I don't have to worry about that right now. At least I'm me now, and not everyone else.... like before.

Standing in the large bank of windows in his room in the early morning light, Adieumus Matango was staring out over the lake, sipping a cup of caf that N4-B0B had brought him. Apparently, the way he took his coffee was one of the things in the old droid's database, because it was rather perfect. He had slept like a log, the painful dreams of the past few years notably absent from his slumber. Perhaps it was the invasion of his mind by the Array that allowed the doors to be opened that the nightmares were striving to open, but it was the best night's sleep Adi had been allowed to get in literally months. Then again, maybe it was the thoughts of Raven that had drifted over his line of conscious thought fading into the unconscious as he fell asleep that allowed him to get the rest. Any way you sliced it, he had climbed out of bed with the breaking of dawn's light with a smile on his face, and thoughts of breakfast on his mind. The caf was just the appetizer...He had seen panna cake mix in the cupboard, along with a sealed bottle of carbosyrup. They were stocked there for when the Matangos visited the Villa, due to Eya's love of the fluffy griddle cakes....and Adieumus was going to make enough to feed the entire crew.
Another sip of caf, and Adi closed his eyes, enjoying the taste of the bittersweet concoction. He took in a breath of the air in the room, catching just a touch of last night's smoke still slightly lingering. He exhaled with a sigh of content, and finished the mug in a pair of gulps, placing it on a table. Then...he felt it....Raven. Something was wrong with Raven. The energy coming from her was insane, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling....there was a massive tinge of darkness, which was most certainly NOT like her. He could feel the pain, the anguish....and the fear....emanating from the Jedi Master. None of these were things that were supposed to be felt by someone like her...For Raven, it was almost always a peaceful calm. This was most definitely not good. Instinctively, Matango's right hand went for his hip, and the lightsaber that was supposed to be there....but wasn't. Damn....She still had the weapon, which meant that he was going in without his weapon of choice. Turning to his right, he hoped that everything was indeed left as he had it.
He ran over to a blank area of the wall, and pressed his hand against it. The wall next to his hand hissed open, revealing a panel with several blasters, and a pair of .48 cal automatic pistols. Adi grabbed two of the blaster pistols, and the pair of slugthrowers. Strapping the shoulder harness around him with the .48 caliber pistols, then the gunbelt with the blasters around his waist, he dashed out of his room, and down the corridor at a full run. He came to the kitchen, where someone was just coming out of the small washroom there. He didn't recognize the man, but he would now be the one backing Adi up, should the poodoo hit the fan when they got to Raven's room. Yanking one of the blasters from it's holster, Adieumus tossed the weapon at the unknown individual, Adi spoke to him...his voice showing his rapidly growing concern.
"You! Come with me, Raven is in trouble, and she needs our help." The Arkanian turned toward Raven's room, and waved for the other man to follow. "Hope you know how to use that. You are my backup, bro." Adieumus felt he was pretty safe in assuming that this was one of the individuals that they had picked up in the Lab rescue, and wouldn't immediately shoot him in the back. Then again, at this point, he wasn't considering any other alternatives. Bottom line, Raven was in danger, and Adi was going to ensure she was safe. This was essentially his home turf. If someone thought they could attack ANY member of this crew -here-?....especially someone like Raven Alora? Well....that person had another thing coming.
It took less than thirty seconds from the kitchen to get to Master Alora's quarters. Taking up a position on one side, and pulling out one of the slugthrowers, Adi pointed to the other side as the other man came up. He pointed to himself, then to his eyes, immediately followed by a motion from his hand to say that he was going to take a look inside. He then pointed to the other man, and patted his own back. He just hoped that the other man knew enough to understand that it meant 'cover his back'. With a nod to the other, Matango punched the manual override code into the panel.
With a hiss, the door opened, and Adieumus stepped directly into the middle of the opening portal, raising the pistol up, ready to take out whoever dared attack Raven.

As soon as he took a step out of the room, an unknown man came running down through the kitchen with a two shoulder holsters. Without a second thought, the man took one of the blasters and tossed it at Dominic, and with instincts and practice, Dominic caught it. He didn't know who he was, but He spoke of Raven being in trouble. Raven... The Short Jedi! His morning wasn't helping his memories, but he was quickly getting back into the swing of things. With the gun in hand, he followed after him down the hallways towards what he assumed to be Raven's bedroom.
He was asked if he knew how to use the weapon. With a quick glance to confirm, he found that it was a classic DH-17 pistol. "Yeah, I.. have an idea on how it works." He would reply. As they made their way, the man was looking vaguely familiar... Nothing like he had spoken to him before but.. Wasn't he one of the people on the ship, that were hurt and being treated along with Anna and that woman Loki was carrying? That seemed about right.
When he pressed against the side of a door, Dominic did the same. He couldn't help himself but get into his practiced pose, with his legs set a certain distance apart, his weapon held the proper way and pointed towards the ground. The man made some hand signals, some were conventional, some were improvised, but they got the message across. He was going to go look, and Dominic was to have his back. He nodded in confirmation, and in a few moments the door slid open. With one quick glance down the hallways, more out of habit than actual caution, he would follow him in. He felt something, dark here. Or, did he? Was it just a side effect of dying?

E`yame watched a tiger wobble towards her uncle Monte and start to ascend up his body. E`yame looked at her uncle with curiosity. He looked so different and acted so different than normal. She just nodded her head towards his words and smiled.
"I think I am just going to go to bed."
She watched as Monte left the room with Puck in tow. Sighing, she laid on the bed with a smack. She instantly became comfortable. Her eyes were just about to close, when she felt the tiniest of movement. Zee had made his way over to her and he did not seem happy.
"I wanted to ride him."
Eya couldn't help but smile at him. She had come to care for this creature and him pouting about not being able to ride Puck seemed to make her want to laugh.
"Maybe next time."
She hit the light switch as Zee curled up beside her. Falling asleep was easy, it was the dream that made her feel restless. She was back in the lab again. Sinina broke free of E'yame's grasp and charged her father. Adieumus wasted no time in cleaving the Echani girl in half with his black energy blade. The Arkanian's eyes then landed hard on his daughter, but they weren't crazed, or blurry- they were angry, and so was his voice. you just had to come back into my life, didn't you? He stalked toward her, his blade humming threateningly, a sneer forming on his face. I was done- with the Jedi, with Honoghor, with the responsibility of You and Ice. But you couldn't leave me alone, could you. Stopping short, a flash of softness came to his eyes and he sighed with a shake of his head. I'm sorry. I know I never should have left you. You're my daughter- So, I gave a reason for my abandonment- I said I wanted to keep you safe... but I realize now- you were just in my way. His voice became dark, sinister even, as he flung out his empty hand, clinched his fist and yanked E'yame toward him- toward the waiting edge of his saber.
E`yame sprang up in bed. Why was that vision haunting her? Would the Array never stop hurting her and the ones she loved, even after it's death? Looking over, she noticed that Zee was still asleep. Getting up, she headed towards the kitchen. The place was deserted. Everyone must have headed to bed. Opening the refrigerator, she noticed some bantha meat, and set to making a sandwich. After that was complete, she scarfed it down in a few bites and headed back to bed.
Waking up, she was sore in muscles that she didn't even know she had. She didn't really see much combat, but she saw more than she was used to. Zee was still passed out on her bed, so she decided to head into the refresher. After she was done with that, she got dressed in shorts and a tight shirt. She picked Zee up, trying not to wake him until the perfect moment. She headed out of her room, and down the hall. She stopped in front of a door and smiled. Pushing the door open, she made her way down into the sublevel. Eya came to another door, and gently woke up Zee.
"Want to see something cool?"
Zee rubbed his eyes and nodded. Eya pushed the door open and used her hand to feel against the wall, until she found a light switch. Turning it on, she watched the pitch black room grow before her eyes. She had remembered being here, watching her father practice in this very room. She headed over to a target and her smile just grew. She could see the little puncture marks from her knives, when she was just starting out, all over the place, except the target. Now it was time to make some new ones.

Farris paused in his current activity of drinking water to finally open his eyes and look around the Kitchen. He could have sworn there was a commotion somewhere in the room behind him. But when he turned his head to look, no one was there. Either it was just his mind waking up- or people had been there and randomly not noticed the big silver man in the corner. He smiled thinly to himself. Maybe he was better at blending in than he thought. With a shrug, the Polydroxol finished the jug of water and sighed in contentment. He felt as close to 100% as he could, and he was actually looking forward to the trip into Theed.

Everything was dark, as she floated endlessly through a strange void her mind had created, perhaps as a defense against the emotional turmoil erupting around her only seconds before- minutes, or maybe hours. The Jedi recalled this reaction only a few times before in her life, When her parents died- when she round herself the captive of some dark chaos being and his mortal companions back on Felucia- When she thought Adieumus was dead. But they had all come from external sources. Never had her own mind shut itself off so fervently. So while she drifted, still wrapped tightly in the black chain apparently of her own making- she did the only thing she could. Alora tried to make sense of her own mind and how it had somehow defeated her, and more importantly, how she could prevent it from happening again, if ever she made it out of this prison she'd constructed for herself. How self defeating. It was actually, extremely depressing.
Suddenly her almost comfortable drifting turned into absolute falling and the Jedi cried out in surprise- her startled sound ripping through her mindscape into reality as the Arkanian opened the door and her huddled form fell side long out into the hall. Weather or not she hit the floor, the falling sensation did snap her out of unconsciousness at least- but her mind only recalled what had just happened- the many faces, voices, emotions. Still clutching her left shoulder- her body remaining strangely rigid, Raven opened her eyes and darted her blurry orbs around the area almost frantically- unseen phantoms just barely alluding her gaze. Even though, her paranoid mind absolutely knew they were still there.
Then her eyes passed over two very real figures, that of Dominic- and that of Adieumus. Her lips parted and she drew in a shaky breath, her words were strained, almost disjointed. D- Dominic....Adi.....She quavered slightly, but remained so steadfast in her position one might think her paralyzed. She gripped her shoulder so tightly her right knuckles were white. There's so many... She murmured through shallow, even pressured breathing- as if something invisible were pressing down on her. Sweat beaded on her forehead, just above distant- hardly conscious eyes.
