It's ok...
Anna said gently. You can trust Farris... I know.
Presently the Polydroxol was leaning over a green feathered Ski'try with a heavily bandaged wing. He figured Thea didn't really want to talk to him, but he did look at Anna and the bedraggled Zabrak limping behind her. He gave Anna a half smile when she said he was trustworthy. Part of him knew she said that based on what she knew of him- but another part knew she understood him far better than anyone else here could. Maybe.. just maybe he was trustworthy. He supposed he'd have to find out.
There wsan't a lot of time for self contemplation right now. The Zabrak was falling. Farris hurried to support him before helping him hoiset himself up on one of the medical beds- which was hardly big enough for the massive creature. You can trust Anna.
He said, as if in response to Anna's comment regarding himself. With quick, practiced hands, Farris cleaned each wround and began taking scans of Loki's vitals. I'm not sure how long you've been on this ship- but I don't suppose you have some of your Zabraki blood lying around here do you? It's not really a life or death question, I was just curious. He peered hard at one of the wounds on Loki's shoulder. He'd already cleaned it- and after gently poking around, he found an exposed vane.
Don't mind the unorthodox medicine. I'm just getting around your genetically modified skin breaks needles problem. He said almost as an afterthought as he hooked up an IV in a very odd place on the Zabrak's body- before beginning to apply new bacta patches to the sounds. I know there's a war going on outside but I strongly suggest either sitting this one out, or throwing things at the enemy with the force- rather than your hands.

*At Farris urging she relaxed, realizing he was there and she was in a safe place. She felt the restraints removed. She looked up at Farris alot more calmly then she had been.*
I know, It felt like the right thing to do.. You would be more likely to get us out of there safely then I would..
*She sighs deeply thinking about her wing. She hadn't had a broken wing before..nor seen another of her kind have it happen. She hadn't spent alot of time with her own kind. She sighs laying as instructed. She didn't even look at the wing, but depression could be felt about her. The uncertainty unnerved her in a way that was quite unlike her.*

Loki nodded at Anna and sat through Farris's ministrations. "No." He muttered sitting there impassively as the doctor worked on his body. Loki smiled wryly at Farris. "I could throw you?" He said his brow arching comically. "No I am done for now. I think I need a few days rest at least, but I must warn the others that there is a clone of me among the First Order now. He has left this world." Loki said his eye going glassy a moment, it was a strange ripple, the clone like a part of himself was attached to it, yet it felt different, darker, decayed. Loki shook his head as Farris finished and he smiled warmly at Anna and the creature he did not recognize. "Hello there, and you are?" He asked surpised at the pleasing tone of his voice, but the bacta was revitalizing and soothing to his skin.

The ride from Moenia to the Lake Country had been long, but pleasant. The covered transport speeder chartered by the Grand Moenia Opera House provided the best of comforts, and even if it had not, the sensational beauty of the Lake Country had made it all worthwhile. Adrianna's eyes practically glowed as she saw the golden sunlight shimmering in the gentle waves of the numerous lakes. It was always a treat to be asked out here to perform for Naboo's wealthy elite. Aside from opening night, and from any night when the Queen herself was in attendance at Grand Moenia, the trip to the Lake Country was always her highlight of the opera season.

[ Gwyn | Cockpit | Deck Two | Morninglord-class light defender (Unnamed) | Lake District | Naboo ] Attn: Jair CrawfordGwyn thought Naboo was very beautiful, and it reminded her a little bit of her home, though it lacked any unpleasant memories, which made it even more attractive to the girl.
She piloted the ship and landed it in an open clearing of land. A small herd of shaak were grazing in the field, under the watch of a Gungan shepherd.
“Is it time?” asked Gwyn.

Jair noticed the Gungan shepherd in the distance. He hoped that they wouldn't be disturbed by any of this, but seeing as there did not appear to be anyone else around, Jair supposed that this would be remote enough. Remembering Rayanelle's instructions, Jair got up from the co-pilot seat. "Miss Rayanelle advised us to be comfortable before we take it. So we should probably head to the most comfortable location in the ship before proceeding. I will follow your lead."
When Jair realized that Gwyn had wasted no time in beckoning to follow and leading him to precisely where that would be on the ship, Jair thought a few things through, out loud. "I can fully open my mind to the Force here without issue. Before we take it... we will need to meditate. And focus. We will need to make sure our minds are sufficiently connected before we take the tonic." It was something that Rayanelle had not explicitly mentioned, however, Jair sensed that it would be important. If they didn't do this first, there would be a high risk of ending up separated on two completely different journeys after drinking the tonic. And Jair sensed that Gwyn probably would not want to risk this. Once they had landed, Jair had already began to open his mind. He wanted it to be as open as possible for her to access through the Force before taking the tonic, and for safe measure she would very likely need to do the same.

[ Gwyn | Jair's Quarters | Deck Three | Morninglord-class light defender (Unnamed) | Lake District | Naboo ] Attn: Jair CrawfordGwyn almost unconsciously led them towards where she felt the most at peace in these last few days. And that was in Jair's quarters. Strange as that seemed, she did not question it, and hoped he wouldn't either.
Her Sith trainings differed in many ways from the Jedi, she was certain, but learning to commune with the Force was a core principle she was confident remained fairly similar.
Foregoing any nervousness about opening her mind up to Jair, Gwyn simply nodded her consent and readiness as she sat down on the floor, and closed her eyes. As much as her connection was seemingly cut. She could still feel the Force all around and within her, and as such, she felt when Jair's mind and presence opened up, and she reciprocated the gesture, letting him see into her as much as she could see into him. There was pain, a lot more than she'd ever let on before, but there was also...a lack of comprehension about the pain, a lack of sense of wrongness to such feelings in her mind and body.
Eagerly, Gwyn reached deeper, hoping to understand Jair better. Her hands almost unconsciously reached for the cork, ready to yank it open and drink, her body and mind were in sync with Jair, and as one, they'd act at the right time.

As Gwyn led them surprisingly to the quarters where he had slept earlier, Jair had opened his mind up entirely to her. He found her mind was open to him as well, as he sat down and meditated. Once again, he did not even have to probe her mind due to the nature of her signature currently. Ironically, that might have just made it easier for them to connect their minds for this quest. The Force certainly worked in mysterious ways.
Jair began to see flashes of what he could only presume were images coming from Gwyns mind. He would talk to her about these things eventually, if she would be comfortable with it, but for the moment, he needed to focus on the task at hand, completely missing the implications that his memories just might not be the only ones he was about to journey into. When he sensed that Gwyn had a grasp of focus on his own mind, he too grabbed his flask, and nodded to her. He could now sense an equilibrium between the two of them, so now was very likely the time.
After nodding to her, giving her sufficient signal, he popped open the cork to his flask, hoping she would follow suit and ideally take her tonic at the same time he did. She already had her flask ready by the looks of it, so he quickly chugged the tonic, shuddering at the bitterness of it. It also burned a bit going down. He had a strong suspicion that his digestive tract was not going to be too pleased with him after that, but that was a small matter that he wasn't particularly concerned about at the moment. Now was the time to sit and wait for it to take effect.
Rayanelle was correct in that it did not take long. Within minutes Jair found himself within the Room of a Thousand Fountains, in the Coruscant Temple. He had not even realized that he had fallen into a deep sleep. He looked around him, in awe. It felt like he was really there, on Coruscant, and the Temple looked like it did long ago... in fact... he almost felt like his sense of time... and where he was just moments before, was slipping away from his mind. It was as though if he was not careful, he might easily forget that he was experiencing visions and memories of the past. This tonic was powerful enough to make one feel like they were truly there, experiencing everything in the here and now.
Jair walked over to a pool in this dream-scaped Room of a Thousand Fountains. At another pool, not too far away, he saw two people sat down. Talking. It caught his attention immediately.

[ Gwyn | Jair's Quarters | Deck Three | Morninglord-class light defender (Unnamed) | Lake District | Naboo ] Attn: Jair CrawfordGwyn's motions were in sync with Jair's, as he drew open his flask, so did she, and touched the tip of the beaker to her lips, drinking down the concoction quickly, trying to avoid the taste, after Rayanelle's warning about it. Despite her sync, she seemed to remain conscious a little bit longer as she watched Jair gently collapse like a puppet with its strings cut. She'd reached out and grasped him, pulling him so that he was lying with his back to her as she too began to succumb to the pull of an induced slumber. Her last conscious action to protectively wrap her arms around the man around his chest, and laid down beside the bed.
She was in a room that held fountains, plants, but artificial surfaces, walls and ceilings. They were within a building, then.
She saw Jair, standing nearby, and she "walked" over to him, partly aware that they were now traversing memories. A pool nearby had to people sitting by it in conversation. Gwyn's was taken by the imagery, and didn't even notice as she recalled a memory of her own, when she was not yet a teen, she sat morosely by a river. Her red hair was even longer then, and her blue eyes still filled with more life. She was hugging her knees to herself, rocking herself back-and-forth, bruises marked her bare arms and legs, her simple dress was torn and tattered, and a regal, tall woman, beautiful and seemingly ageless, approached the small girl.
“Hello, child,” said the woman, “what is your name?”
Young Gwyn looked up, startled, and she half-stumbled, her arms landing in the river she was sitting by. Then she glanced behind the woman, as if seeing Jair and the fully grown Gwyn. Before the tall woman turned around, they were back in Jair's memory, seeing the two people conversing. Gwyn didn't want Jair to see the woman's face, or know her name. Never her name.

Jair felt the presence of another near him, and that's when it occurred to him that it was Gwyn. This should not be a surprise, but under the effects of the tonic, it was apparently very easy to forget that all of these visions and memories were induced. Jair attempted to call out to her with-in this, for now, tranquil dream-scape.
Gwyn... can you hear me? Jair pointed towards the two people sitting by the distant pond, hoping that Gwyn could see the gesture. See... over there... that's me. And I think... the other person is her... Jair started to move towards the distant pond with the assumption that Gwyn would follow when suddenly, in a few flashes, their surroundings changed a bit. The room was still there but... it was as if a sky from a different world was ethereally painted onto its ceilings and walls, and a river now spanned down the center of the room. It was a full flowing natural river.
Gwyn was sitting by the river, clearly in great distress. Gwyn?! He called out, not realizing for the moment that he was seeing a fragment of one of her memories. He saw a woman approach her, and question her, but Jair could not see the woman's face. And in a flash the Room of a Thousand Fountains returned back to its prior state. The strange woman was gone and Gwyn was no longer by a river. There was no river to be seen any longer. But he could once again see himself sitting with someone else at the same distant pond he was trying to move towards earlier.
Gwyn? Where are you? Are you there?

[ Gwyn | ??? | ??? | ??? | ??? ] Attn: Jair CrawfordGwyn watched the other other woman, and tried to understand why Jair was so driven to find out about her and whatever had transpired. She resolved to just stay close to Jair as he explored his memories. She took his hand when he called out to her, pleased that they could still enact physical contact.
“I am by your side, Jair, always.”
She opted to follow his lead, careful to watch her own thoughts, but that was easier said than done. Along the edges of this memory space, she saw flickers of images, of the Sith Knights surrounding her. Blood on her hands. Blood on her hands. Blood on her hands.
She quickly shook the thoughts away and the flickering images disappeared...for a while.

Jair was shocked at first when he felt someone take his hand, but then quickly relieved when he heard Gwyn’s voice answer him back. Although it made no sense as he could have sworn he had seen her in front of him at a river, and not beside him. Then it hit him once again. Memories… memories… these were memories and not real time. So of course they were walking together. This tonic was strong. It could easily confuse the senses and the mind to believe that one was actually there. Jair was consistently realizing it was going to take a lot of effort and focus to remind himself that these were, in fact, just memories.
I was worried. I thought you had somehow got ahead of me, and you looked like you were not okay. Then you vanished. To say that Jair was relieved that Gwyn was indeed alright was an understatement. But something was still out of place. Something that would normally be more obvious to him, but was taking him a bit longer than usual to piece together while still getting used to being under the strong effects of this tonic. Memories… memories… they were all memories…
Gwyn, are you sure you are alright? It looked like you were not… Memories… memories… it finally began to slowly click. I don’t… that thing… the flowing river… all of that, I don't recognize. But how is that possible? I should be able to recognize everything I see in here… like that, up ahead. Jair pointed ahead to the two figures that they were both still moving towards, but for some reason it felt like it was taking a very unusually long time to reach them. But then, finally, as a few odd unfamiliar flashes would flicker around him and then vanish back to the current memory-scape that Jair recognized, it fully dawned on him.
Gwyn… was that your memory I saw…? There would be no judgement in his voice. Only a gentle concern for her. But this was a possibility that Jair had not accounted for. It made sense, as they had both opened their minds to each other before taking the tonic. But for some reason he hadn’t even considered the possibility that he might see some of her memories as well. This did not bother him in the slightest. They would just have to make sure they would be sufficiently aware of whose memories they were in.

She tried to ignore her own memories and urged Jair towards his own. She held on to Jair's hand, so as to not lose track of him and also not get left behind.

As they continued to move forward, Jair now noticed her walking by his side. He could see her, quite clearly, and it was then that he realized that she had looked very different when he saw her at that river before. It was strange that it wasn't until now that this detail stood out to him. And for some reason it was still taking so long to move such a short distance. Or, at least, it seemed like a short distance. He finally turned to Gwyn.
Are you having as much trouble getting there as I am? Jair asked her, mostly out of curiosity although, the obvious answer was likely 'yes', or else she would already be there, ahead of him. Before turning to continue though, Jair felt compelled to communicate something. What we see here is important, Gwyn. We have to be prepared for it. Whatever we see is through the will of the Force. Jair communicated this as gently as he possibly could, not wanting to pry in any way, but, on the other hand, he couldn't shake the sense that this was going to be crucial in this journey. And as soon as he communicated this, the pond that was taking seemingly so long to reach was suddenly right there in front of them, although the two people that were seated there before were gone... for now...

[ Gwyn | ??? | ??? | ??? | ??? ] Attn: Jair CrawfordGwyn frowned, confused by Jair's question.
“Trouble?” she asked, “I thought you were taking your time intentionally.”
The two people vanished, and Gwyn was more confused. Why would his memory vanish like that.
“You're quite a lovely young lady,” a rich, accented and cultured feminine voice spoke and Gwyn stiffened, an act that Jair would notice by her sudden tightening of her grip on his hand, “come closer, girl.”
She looked behind her, and it was like a completely different room dominated the place. A very familiar, very rich and opulent looking place. The bed was large enough for two or even four people, and covered in silk and satin material. A young Gwyn, with her waist-length braided hair, stood in a plain silken night-robe, facing the same regal beautiful woman that had approached her at the river, only, now, Jair could see her face, and her very orange-yellow Sith eyes, and the slight leer on her face as she beckoned Gwyn closer to the bed which she was seated on.
Remembering herself, Gwyn flushed and forced the memory away like a boulder she hurled off a mountaintop. The effort to cast away the memory drained her strength, as if she'd physically performed the feat herself.
Drawing several deep breaths, Gwyn cast Jair a nervous look, then turned back to his own memory, saying nothing.

Jair shook his head in answer to Gwyn's initial question, as he most definitely was not intentionally taking his time. He had been moving forward the whole time until they had seemingly 'teleported' to the spot. Jair was just as confused as Gwyn when the two people disappeared, but, then he saw someone in the distance approaching them. It was someone familiar. It was himself, from the past. He was approaching the pond. But before he could ascertain what was happening in that moment, their entire surroundings changed once again, to an entirely unfamiliar location to him.
He heard a voice speak suddenly and noticed that Gwyn had immediately tightened her grip on his hand. At first Jair was perplexed and caught a bit off guard, not knowing quite how to process what was happening. It did not take him as long this time, however, to come to the realization that this was one of Gwyn's memories again. He was beginning to get a better handle on processing everything under the influence of the tonic, or at least, he thought so.
Any musings he had about getting more comfortable in this dream-like state vanished, however, as he saw this strange tall woman's face for the first time. If one could possibly feel slightly ill in this strange world of memories, that would be the feeling Jair would get from this woman. Something about the very expression on her face was extremely off-putting, and the fact that she was speaking to an apparently very young Gwyn this way was quite concerning. So much so, that Jair momentarily forgot once again that he was seeing memories. He lurched forward, likely pulling the Gwyn he knew along with him without realizing it, in an attempt to stop the young girl from sitting with this strange woman.
No no! Don't! Stop! He instinctively called out, but neither the young girl nor the strange woman responded to him, and then they both vanished, and he was back at the pond. He sensed Gwyns presence with him again. Indeed, she was still holding his hand. But something in her signature in the Force seemed to flicker. It was almost as if the memory, and he was slowly piecing it back together again that that was, indeed, a memory, drained her.
What happened... are you ok? Jair asked her, not focusing yet on the memory he just saw, but rather that he could sense this flickering in her signature.

She lightly tugged his hand and jerked her chin towards his own memory, trying to refocus their attention on what they came here for.
“My memories are like a distraction,” she said, “let it not pull you away from your own. I feel we have not yet reached the great perils that lie within your lost memories. Rayanelle's words ring in my head, and we-”
The visage of Rayanelle's kindly smile and expression briefly appeared before Gwyn, and she blinked. It was gone.
“As I was saying...we need to focus, and get to the root of your memory loss. I will be right by your side through it all.”

The tranquil atmosphere of the Room of a Thousand Fountains surrounded them again. Jair felt her tug on his hand slightly, but there was nowhere that they needed to go. He sensed that they were at the right place and that the memory would come to them. He recalled seeing himself walking towards them before Gwyn's memory had temporarily taken over. He also sensed that there was more to her memories being seen here than a mere "distraction", as she had called them. He did not want to make her uncomfortable, but there was a sense about all of this that he couldn't shake, and he shared his thoughts as gently as possible as he was beginning to piece together an inkling he had.
I will respect your wishes, but your memories are not a distraction, Gwyn. We have arrived at precisely the place we need to be, but I couldn't get to it before and it was not for lack of trying. It wasn't until we had processed your own memory before we finally got here... Yes. It was, indeed, piecing together in his mind. It made sense that they couldn't reach this point until they had dealt with what came before them first. Jair had a theory about what was going on, but he was not sure if Gwyn would like it. Still, she needed to know, to be prepared just in case. Gwyn... I think... your memory was key to leading us both here. I think because our minds were connected going into this, so too will our journeys here be intertwined. To resist it is akin to resisting the will of the Force... and we risk exhausting ourselves if we fight it. Jair communicated the last part particularly softly, gently, and empathetically. We are going to need all the strength we can muster to get through this.
As if on cue, Jair saw someone appear again in the distance. Far in the horizon. Someone was approaching them again. It was himself, from the past. Gwyn, I think that's me. Can you see it too? The figure approached them, a spitting image of the Jedi Gwyn had come to know in such a short time. She might have been surprised that he looked not all that much younger in this memory. The figure walked right past them, not seeming to notice either of them were there, and went straight to the edge of the pool. Strangely, the pool faded, though they were still in the Room of a Thousand fountains. Jair watched the scene unfold intently.
Jair's apparition from the past did not notice either of them, but appeared to look down where the pool once was. A Jedi knight lay sprawled out on the grass, sound asleep. And a padawan lay asleep next to the knight.
Ty and Anna... Jair remarked with what sounded like a whisper as he continued to observe the scene. I remember that day, we were all tired... something had gone down the day before... Jair's thoughts were cut short as he heard himself speak.
"Hehe, they're both sound asleep." The memory of Jair had remarked out loud, but very softly, before going to sit down by a pool that had now materialized again. He appeared to sit down to meditate when, from the other side of the room in the horizon, another figure entered. When she approached midway, it was evident she was a young woman. She had dark brown hair and fair skin.
That's her. Jair said to Gwyn, not even realizing he had communicated anything. He had been trying to remain quiet as for some reason he feared disturbing what was transpiring before them, but it did not seem to have any effect. The young woman seemed to be whispering to herself, and slightly distressed. Jair, from the past, continued to meditate, but the moment his concentration was broken by her entry was evident. He would open his eyes, stand up, and go to greet her...
This was now a memory he recognized. It had come back to him partially when he had physically went to Coruscant within the span of just a few days ago, although, now, it felt like a lifetime ago. It felt like this dream-scape was his reality at the moment.
"Hello there, I don't think we've met." Jair's past self had rather excitedly introduced himself to the woman. She seemed a bit more reserved than he was. She appeared to take a deep breath before replying. "I'm . . . Aria."
The name rang like many melodic bells. It sang like the song of many soft brooks. The familiarity it brought, the way it sang, the sense of longing that overwhelmed him once again caused emotions to emanate intensely from his signature, though anyone sensing them wouldn't find them unbearable. This felt like such a happy memory; albeit one complicated by strong, and complex emotions that were not yet fully understood. Gwyn... her name is Aria! Jair communicated excitedly, as if that fact was not just made completely obvious to them both right then and there.

[ Gwyn | ??? | ??? | ??? | ??? ] Attn: Jair CrawfordGwyn merely held on to Jair throughout their time, and despite what Jair suggested, despite that their minds were connected in ways more intimate than most married couples would ever be, she held back certain aspects of herself, as she almost vehemently felt they would be detrimental to Jair's quest. She had no wish to make this about herself if she could help it. She was beneath everyone, and she was quite fine with that.
“Aria...” she tried the name on her lips, and it felt...strange.
She felt as though Jair were truly chasing a ghost. If the woman was lost within Chaos, was she not truly dead? The fact Jair survived diving into it was nothing short of a miracle. And unbidden, the memories of the First Order's bombardment of Dorneget came to the forefront of her memories. The little boy she'd found stumbling out of a destroyed building, his family already gone, and he would join them moments later, but he first collapsed into her arms as she tried desperately to use every healing technique she knew, and she knew a lot from necessity to fix damages inflicted upon her on a semi-regular basis. The boy touched her long hair, gently gripping a lock of it as she felt his heart begin to give out.
“You're...prettyyyyy....”
His voice and breath faded, and he remained staring blankly at her face. She felt his life fade away. The memory clouded over and she went further back in time, to when and how she learned to be so good at healing with the Force.
There were six older teenagers, three boys and three girls, one boy and girl held her by the arms and legs respectively, pinning her to the ground. She made no effort to fight back, but her fear and terror were present. Gwyn blinked. She had no memories of this event!
“This never happened...” said Gwyn.
Yet the memory was clear, she looked to be about thirteen, maybe fourteen.
“Go on, then , Wil!” cried a tall, pretty blonde girl, “tear them off her!”
The teenaged Gwyn made a noise of protest, but otherwise made no other effort to retaliate or defend herself, this was occurring in an open courtyard, in front of the manor to her Lady, the woman who'd taken her in. Though she roomed and fed her, and Gwyn would run errands or serve her in whatever capacity she desired, the woman was like a second mother to her, and yet, no one would come to her aid when some of the older children of the various other members of the Lady's court would pick on her or torment her like they did now. Though Gwyn had no recollection of this, it was now coming back to her.
She suppressed this memory? The boy called Wil reached down and began to tear off her outer dress with complete abandon. The present day Gwyn nearly lunged forward to stop the boy, but she finally remembered her own counsel to Jair; these were all memories. They could not be changed or altered, just viewed like an unfolding of events in third-person. She needed to focus on Jair! Jair's memories! This was his quest! Away! Away!
She could not throw it away, however, and tears poured out of her eyes as she watched the older teenagers harass, torment and leer at her as she remained helplessly pinned between two of them while the others took turns having their "fun". She couldn't bear look at it anymore and gripped Jair in a hug, turning her back to her own memories.
“Please...” she begged Jair, “...make it stop. I don't want to see anymore...make it stop. Take us to Aria...take us to Aria!”

Gwyn did not seem bothered by the strong feelings emanating from Jair's signature, having even repeated her name herself. He wondered if any of it seemed odd to Gwyn. Jair's memories so far were peaceful. Nothing of the Chaos that was to come could be sensed in anything that was being revealed to him so far. Perhaps then it was a different type of chaos entirely that was foreshadowing, or rather, as Jair had suspected to some degree earlier, become interwoven into this journey they were taking as, once again, their surroundings changed.
Scenes of war and devastation surrounded them. The change in scenery transformed so quickly that it took Jair completely off guard. Without giving it a second thought, he grabbed his lightsaber hilt in his off hand and ignited it, preparing to defend them both. Odd... the color of his lightsaber wasn't quite natural. Jair knew what the color of his lightsaber should look like. Being the one in his off hand, as he was holding Gwyn's hand, he had ignited his blue lightsaber which he always kept holstered on his left side. But this was not the deep Ankkares Sapphire blue that he knew all too well. Then he realized once again that these were all memories. They were back in one of Gwyn's memories, and thus, this lightsaber wasn't even real. It would have no effect.
Despite this realization, he did not think to disengage the blade. Instead he simply lowered it down in a Makashi salute. He didn't really know why he chose to do so. The visions that appeared before him went so quickly that he did not have much perceived time to think about such decisions. He saw what appeared to be a boy die in someone's arms. The woman looked very much like Gwyn. But then, their surroundings changed yet again. They were now in a courtyard, and the heaviness of war and mass destruction had lifted from the dream-scape. However, something else replaced the heaviness from before, and there was an almost sickening sensation about this memory. It did not take long to locate the source of it. A group of youth appeared to be tormenting another. He could not yet make out that Gwyn was the victim of said torment, but the scene itself was enough to once again tear Jair out of his realization that these were memories as he shouted at them. Hey! HEY! Let her go!
They did not listen to him. Rather, they acted as if they did not, and could not even hear his voice. Between this response, and the continuing scene unfolding in front of him, Jair grew angry. He raised his lightsaber outward, pointing directly in their direction, and addressed them again with a shout. HEY!!! His voice lowered to an almost menacing growl. I said... let... her... go! This would be the first time Gwyn would sense any inkling of any potential of darkness in Jair. It was very faint, yet it was there, like artifacts from an earlier time when Jair had not fully learned to deal with his emotions, and before he had found peace in the Force. There was an ever so slight glint of danger in his eyes, but it quickly vanished as the sickening scene around them also vanished.
Gwyn did not seem to be at all disturbed by Jair's reaction though, or perhaps she simply didn't notice, as she had latched onto him now, and began begging him to make the memory go away... memory... memory... right. Jair held her for the moment, having himself calmed down. His lightsaber fell out of his hand and seemed to vanish, but ended up back in its holster somehow. Gwyn... Gwyn... it's ok. It's gone. They are all gone. His voice had returned to its normal gentle tones. Jair had no hand in making the memory go away. He did not fully understand why it manifested. But it was, in fact, gone. And the Room of a Thousand Fountains surrounded them once more. Look, we are back on Coruscant.
Aria stood there before them. As Jair held Gwyn, he locked eyes with Aria. How did I forget you? Jair asked, in the softest of whispers, but Aria merely gazed back with what seemed like a slight yet genuine look of concern on her features. When Jair realized he was not going to get a direct answer back, he turned his attention to Gwyn, who was still holding on to him. Gwyn... are you ok?
