He fell backwards to complete the destruction of the table, armoured back crashing down on its remained to reduce the kindling into splinters. His head bounced as it cracked backwards, the helm protecting him from the impact but the motion still enough to jar his senses some. His arms splayed to either side as he slid back a few meters, beskad held in the death grip of his right hand. A grating screech accompanied the friction of his backwards slide, the noise somehow drawing his attention back from its wandering daze.
With the 'chin' of his helmet resting on the top of his breastplate he watched as the Jedi darted forward, cutting to her left before swinging her buzzing blade towards his left leg. With still a little momentum in his backward slide Priest pushed against the floor with both arms, a grunt accompanying his effort, and forced himself over into a backwards roll. The saber licked angrily against the floor as his lower leg was pulled out of the path, preceding his upper body over and allowing him to finish in a crouch a couple of meters away with his left arm already rising to point back towards her. A gout of orange flame burst forth from the nozzle in his left gauntlet, roaring out a fiery inferno at the annoying Forceling.
The debris on the floor quickly caught alight in the intense heat, the flammable fuel eager to spread its flaming offspring wherever it could. The floor also began to smoke and blacken under the assault, the whole place likely to go up in flames. Unfortunately for Priest, as he readied himself to track the Jedi's movements and turn her to ash, her earlier strike at his jetpack had severed one of the fuel lines and damaged the device...
The initial burst of flame roared forth but then the stream spat and hissed. Flame trailed back from the nozzle as leaking fuel dribbled along the line, bypassing safety measures and causing the whole device to erupt in flame. A cough a splutter and a thunderous bang accompanied Priests right arm detonating in a blinding flash, the explosion enough to send him staggering to his right, bits and pieces of broken flamer pinging off of his armour.
The wrist and hand were protected somewhat under the beskar armouring of the crushgaunt but his elbow and upper arm took a decent pounding. Shrapnel had gouged a nasty cut in the meat of his bicep and the elbow area was singed painfully. Smoke and flame still permeated the area between where they had stood but it looked like the fires would die down.
With vision so impaired Priest activated his thermal enhancements but with the flames lciking at the floor and furniture its was still difficult to pick her out as he scanned the room... She felt the slight resistance of the lightsaber scoring the floor instead of the man's leg. Her skin crawled as the Force currents shifted dangerously. Adelle dove behind an overturned table as the Mando unleashed an inferno. Fire. Blood. Wires. She shook her head. This was Nar Shaddaa. Not Coruscant. Not His factory. Not His fire. Adelle flinched at the explosion, covering her head as shards of metal pinged off the table top. Her vocal cords tightened. A bar on fire. She heard another crash, metal on duracrete. Skin melting off bones. She shut her eyes and focused on blocking out the memories. Not now. She didn't need this now."A flamethrower?!?" she said loudly, disgusted. "I thought Mandalorians were more honorable than burning down a barful of bystanders." Then Na'an spoke, and the memories died with her unyielding steel. Relief washed over Adelle. She wanted to say something witty, like "Nice of you to join us" or something cliché like that. But when she tried, nothing came out. Instead, she got to her feet, crouching behind the table, and waited for the Mando to retaliate. Na'an mentioned honor; she'd at least let her friend try to negotiate and be civil.

With smoke still curling up from the ruined flamer on his left wrist Priest paced like an Vornskr, circling first one way then back a few paces as he eyed the two females who had seen fit to meddle in his affairs.
The second had alighted in the ruins of the window a moment after he had located the first with his scanners, staying his hand for the moment. Her appearance had shifted the balance somewhat and he took a moment to assess his options before proceeding with dispatching them. The inconvenience of his flamer betraying him as well as the series of events that had brought him here set a fire of annoyance and frustration burning in the pit of his soul, Kad's fury roaring through him in a torrent of holy power.
The words of this newcomer only added fuel to the inferno as he ruthlessly kept it at bay while he coolly assessed the situation. It took mere moments for these thoughts to process, his helmet scanning the surroundings with its customary efficiency. While the flames appeared to be contained where they were, unlikely to spread any further, they had caused some structural damage to the floor between where he stood and the two females. The fire damage along with his violent crash had weakened the boards and supports beneath them significantly, these prefab buildings never the strongest to begin with. The visors image enhancer showed up fracture lines and reduced integrity with a spiderweb of red lines, indicated where the floor was weakest.
With a careful step backwards Priest distanced himself from there worst area, the floor directly between where the Jedi were, one crouched one stood bold, and where he had been a moment before. Another slow step took him slightly to his right, now moving towards one of the other blacked out windows, voice growling from his helmet speaker.
What would you know of honour, Jed'ika?
He moved another step towards the window, now barely two meters away. His angle would bring the Jedi crouched behind the table into view, allowing him to place both Jedi almost directly ahead and in the same line of fire. His beskad swept lazily back and forth on front of him, the heavy weapon held easily in his powerful one-handed grip.
Creatures of privilege and high station. You lack honour merely because you assume you have it...
He knew she was Jetii despite no overt sign. The way she had used power to remove the destroyed flamer, the righteous tone of voice, the foolish crusade to stop the big bad Mando. They thought nothing to get involved in affairs that were none of theirs. By interfering with him they were breaking the laws of this system in a sense. Impeding a sanctioned bounty hunter about his business. As far as he was concerned their lives were forfeit.
Despite all this he stayed his hand, trying to work an angle. The blood of Jedi already on his hands weighed heavy on him already, the nightmares of his previous actions colouring his conscience when it came to the meddlesome knights. Even Kad's righteous presence seemed ill at ease to condemn these Forcelings, preferring to see them neutralised rather than destroyed.
The window was on his right now, touching distance. He levelled the beskad at the one loitering in the window, the frame now at an angle to obscure her left-hand side.
Return my cargo and stand aside. I will visit no vengeance upon you or yours if you comply.

"I don't have your cargo." Na'an slid into full view, holding her hands out at her sides. The Mando hadn't pulled any new weapons that she could see, but she kept her left eye open just in case--no point in trying to hide the damned thing now. She still had her lightsaber hilt in her right hand; she spun the emitter towards herself, rather than in any direction that could be seen as threat, but still kept the weapon visible. "And I never said I had any honor. I just don't want your bounty hunting to burn down my favorite bar," she continued, shooting a glance at Adelle. Her healer was crouched behind a thick wooden table, the Force trembling around her like the air around a candle. "Or hurting my friends."
Her eyes flicked down to take in the wooden floor, scored black with fire. There was no way the floor could be guaranteed to hold her weight in addition to Adelle and the heavily armored soldier; as a result, she stayed perched on the edge of the window, her heels hanging in the open air beyond. "I'd like to talk like two reasonable beings here, if you'd permit. But I'd keep in mind, you're not the first of your kind I've survived in just the last few hours." She shrugged lightly, a disarming gesture from someone her size. "I'm having quite a stressful day."

Perched on the gantry above the street along which the bar rested Valus watched with wide eyes as he saw the Mandalorian screech through the air, crashing against a building to his left before crashing through a window and into an upper floor of the cantina. He was about to look around and make a quip to the Zabrak when another shape blurred across his view. He narrowed his eyes as he saw the female Jedi, a blur of motion and energy, also disappear into the window. There was another crash then a flare of light. He was once again about to look around when yet another shape bounded upwards, also alighting in the window...
"So many players in this game..."
He muttered the words as he kept his gaze on the place, just in case some other movement, maybe a cadre of Sith Lord deciding to drop out of the sky, decided to present itself.
"Time to cull the field."
He finally did turn to the Zabrak and gave the being a nod. With a grin of pointed teeth the big humanoid turned and dropped to the ground, easily absorbing the ten meter drop on bent knees. He spoke into a comlink before moving forward at a slow and easy walk. Seven other beings imitating his nonchalant and casual gait. At the same time a speeder moved from above and dropped to the roof of the building, preparing to disgorge the half-dozen men it carried onto the roof. Finally two more approached from different directions, seeking to gain entry via a window or backdoor.
They all had the same instructions; Take the cargo alive and if worst should happen deny him to anyone else...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Jedi!"
Massik spat the words from where he crouched having sprung back up after his strange tumble from his feet. The Trandoshan hissed while the Wookiee roared, none of them seeming fazed by the display of power nor the threatening voice. The kinfe was still in Massik's hand and he held it low as he pushed himself back to his feet.
"Always meddling where you don't belong..."
He too looked up as the ceiling creaked alarmingly again though the rest of the patrons didn't seem to notice. As he moved slowly to his left, putting the curled up shape of Erly, dropped from the lizard man's grip, between himself and Cao the Trandoshan Varrsk stepped forward to regain the distance lost when he was sent staggering.
"Hagwa cheeska ji, Jedai..." {{Do not cheat me, Jedi...}}
The creature's voice was a grating snarl again, his long arms snaking out to gesture towards the Eryl. The rest of the potential combatants, seeing them not backing down from this stranger, now once again sought to pursue their violent agenda. One of the Gran leaped onto the Wookiee's back and was subsequently sent flying through the air towards a table where a sandy-haired man of average height sat nursing a drink.
The distraction was all the combatants needed to erupt, the Trandoshan and Massik lunging from different sides at the Jedi, recognising him as likely the biggest threat...

Her eyes rolled behind the visor as her youngest daughter grabbed her and once again kept her from going in the bar.
"Everything is about to go to hell, and you want to stand out here and talk?"
She finished the first bit of typing, and a progress bar appeared in the corner of her visor, indicating that it was isolating the signals emitting from the bar. A caution flashed that there were multiple signals and a small amount of interference, and that decreasing the distance would allow for a stronger and faster connection. But, seeing as her daughter's metallic fist was latched onto her shoulder, that wasn't about to happen.
"Go ahead. Say your piece. Get it over with."
There was a loud crashing noise from down the street, a clear indicator that whatever conversation they were about to have was going to be cut very, very short... "You look at me when I'm talking to you." The sheer fury pouring out of Leigh's voice was startling. Her hand squeezed into the flesh of Elly's shoulder, causing the human to wince before she loosened her grip. In all her given memories, or even the ones she'd recorded since, she'd never seen Eliana Shan like this--cold and dismissive and hard-focused on ignoring what she was faced with. On a subroutine, her processor was scanning through the planet's recent holonet entries, filtering for anything related to the figure in her hands now. The picture they painted...It seemed impossible, beyond accepting. But Leigh was a droid, and was thus unable to reject reality when presented with it. If this was who her mother was, then this was who she was--maybe, perhaps, who she'd always been. "So this is where you've been all this time. You let us all think you're dead, and run off to the Underworld to live like a gangster. Do you--"
The droid stopped, her processors overcome. Her dome flickered for a second as she rapidly rerouted her calculations, as if about to display her chosen face in a rictus. "Do you really think I'd let you back in there when you don't seem to have any idea just how much damage you've already done? I don't think so."Something in her HUD blipped, several yards back. Without releasing Elly, Leigh swung her body wide, aiming the tip of her cannon at the humanoid now approaching the bar. As she redirected, her sensors indicated several more bounty hunters, with a speeder lighting above them. "You're staying out here with me, mother, and cleaning up your own mess."The cannon flared to life, and Leigh fired.

"How much damage I've done?!"
She practically spat the words, a sneer of disgust and disdain taking over her features.
"Do you have ANY idea what you and Na'an did?? You tore a hole in the kriffing UNIVERSE just to come back and commit murder! And then she was kind enough to inform me that when she came from, I died. That I had been dead for years. You were made from my neural pathways. You think like I do. You know where my mind went. Either the timeline you came from saw me die.. Or saw me fake it. And I'm sorry if I chose the latter at the expense of everything else, but I wanted to live. And that meant I had to leave everyone behind. Because everything that had already happened for you, had yet to happen for me, and it had to happen the way you saw it happen, or everything would unravel."
As she was speaking, the disgust on her face was rapidly draining, switching into something much, much worse, something she hadn't let herself show to anyone in years: pain. LE-03 turned then, firing a single shot at someone behind her, but Alena -- Elly -- didn't care. 03 had opened up something inside her that she had been sitting on for seven years.
"I had systems set up to monitor the three of you. I watched the sensors die as 02's ship was destroyed, as 01's ship self-destructed. I knew that you were still okay, because I had seen you all those years ago. And I knew I would see you again.. But I didn't know when. I tried looking for you, and it's been three years gone, and I couldn't find you.. I started to give up hope. So don't for a moment think this was easy!"
Her eyes were starting to glimmer now, and for the first time in a very long while, she wasn't even monitoring her visor out of her peripherals. She was completely focused on the being before her, staring at her dome where her face could have been, should have been, but wasn't.
"I had to leave everyone behind. I had to leave Cao and Na'an and Vyra and Raan and I had to leave you. You're my daughter, and I had to leave you behind. I had already made you, barely gotten to know you, and I had to leave you behind. You're my kid, and I never even got to watch you grow up."
A single tear fell down her cheek, reflecting in its depths something felt from a higher power.
"The only choice I had was whether or not I was around to see the woman you would become. So please..
"Please."
She reached over and placed her hand gently on 03's wrist, yet didn't pull at it or provide any more action than just the touch. In this moment, she was vulnerable, and she didn't have the strength to resist. A moment passed, and a tiny, humourless chuckle escaped her lips.
"I never even got to know your name."

There was so much going on. So much information to take in. That was one of the curses of her mind. Kent couldn't limit what she took it. The conversation between the droid, or was it cyborg things were making her change her initial assumption, and woman with the hair. Then there was the fight, and more players looked to be joining the fray. Kent now had a blaster rifle, a much bigger weapon than she was used to, but she should have no problem getting off one accurate shot at a time if she was pone and took her time. She would have to make them count. Na'an had gone inside to engage the fight in there. This slicer had to have something good. Every detail of all these situations filled her head.
She started to focus on what the slicer could possibly have, but had to stop herself, that wasn't pertinent at the moment. Next she went to the droid and women. The fight was more pressing, but she knew what Leigh could bring to a firefight, and the woman didn't seem to be a liability either. Hey queens of emotional drama and baggage! She yelled to them. I think there will be time to continue this therapy session when the place we are all at is not under attack! Hash it out when the shooting and fire stops! Either they would or continue to risk there lives to fight it out now, either way Kent had done what she could. Now to limit the players. Kent checked the crono on a bright sign in front of a casino. 2135... perfect. The big Ithorian style casino always had a repulsar truck pick up trash this time of night and it should be. Yes hear it was coming above them back, full of refuse. Kent calculated the geometry of the fall and the shot of a full garbage repulsar truck. She, laid down prone and took aim with the rifle, and fired a shot right into the repusar coils. The truck came down hard between most of the new comers and the bar. Putting tons of durasteel and machine between them. That should keep the numbers a little more even, I would think? She says to her self as she rubs her shoulder from the rifle recoil.

=Varssk= "Nobata bargo, weermo." {{No deal, chump.}}
The creatures eyes burned with a fire that would only be quenched with blood and it swung its free hand to smashed the datapad out of the man's grip. As soon as the blow was thrown the Wookiee gave a bellow and upended the Grans table, knocking the three-eyed humanoids back into yet another table...
"Um... right. I have no idea what you just said, but that was really rude." With yet more callous disregard for his own safety, Oz set his hands on his hips and launched right into a lecture about the utter lack of propriety in establishments such as this, waxing eloquent about the nature of villainy and proper manners along with smatterings of ancient philosophy and something that was probably to do with machine code and certain hypothetical algorithms, all in an attempt to confuse the poor trandoshan to death. Or he would have, had some jedi not randomly appeared and worked his mojo to get the hulking brute to back off. Both literally and violently. What the hell kind of situation have I gotten myself into? And since when do jedi frequent shady drinking establishments? The answers to those questions would have to wait, however, as it quickly became apparent that the jedi's intervention was not enough to quiet the developing tempers and the lead pair of ruffians were quickly back on their feet. Kriff... This is really gonna suck. "Before we all get started killing each other, I'd just like to point out that I tried giving you money!" He shouted above the snarls of the onrushing villains, then his eyes went wide as he noticed the previously placid half-ton hulk of metal known as Frend whir to life, swiveling his left forearm, which had recently gone from three-fingered hand to high-powered cannon, toward the thug that presented the most immediate threat to Oz's person. "Oh shiii..." Ka-zzzt.The low-pitched hiss of the lightning gun echoed through the cantina as a gaping hole appeared in the trandoshan's midsection and the cannon swiveled once again to lock on to the lunging form of the knife-wielding threat. The second shot was reduced in power, owing to the droid's protocols dictating that it not injure the innocents that stood beyond its target, but the blast still left a blackened pit where his ribcage used to be and sent the corpse flailing across the room. Oz, for his part, simply stood there gaping open-mouthed at the reckless and instantaneous carnage his creation had caused, while Frend floated placidly where he was, awaiting further instruction. Well... That was, um... efficient.

Return my cargo and stand aside. I will visit no vengeance upon you or yours if you comply. She had misunderstood. What she thought had been a pursuit—and those she would meddle in all the live long day—was actually a deal gone bad. His constant movement, ripples sent along the weakened floor, spoke of his agitation. Frustration. A cornered animal kept from his hunt. No, not his hunt; his prize had been stolen. Alena Karso had played the thief—and she'd helped. Force damn it. How she hated bounties. While she understood they were a necessary evil for CorSec and that there were rarely any "innocent" targets—herself included—she hated the way most hunters treated their targets: as objects, property. Cargo. Cuyan, if she recalled correctly, had been a rare exception. Still, this was Hutt Space and CorSec didn't like to get tangled up with the Hutts if they could help it. Better to back down and finally get a stiff drink than risk the wrath of some fat slug on a hoverchair. Also, less grenades this way."And I never said I had any honor. I just don't want your bounty hunting to burn down my favorite bar," she continued, shooting a glance at Adelle. Her healer was crouched behind a thick wooden table, the Force trembling around her like the air around a candle. "Or hurting my friends." Na'an's gaze landed on her like a sudden spotlight, warm and mildly terrifying for its sudden scrutiny. Everything still sounded so far away. Bright spots of color blurred together in her sight and she wasn't sure if the roar in her ears was her blood or the dying fire. And yet, she felt like every nerve was electrified. She felt the floor shift with every breath from herself, from Na'an, and the Mando. She could feel the current of the winds outside and the wake of speeders rushing through the air. Adelle blinked and inhaled.
She could feel the spike of panic from the man both Alena and the Mando were interested. The Force roiled with hostility several feet below them. A large ripple dispelled it momentarily but the anger boiled back. Something—or someone—snuffed out two lives. No emotion. No lightning or fire or thunder. Just silence and two more voids.
She could feel the footsteps of directed forces, converging on a single point. Adelle exhaled, feeling as if Time itself had slowed to a halt. She really needed to stop using the Force or she was going to literally tear herself apart."As long as his crimes are deserving of this, Elly has him," she croaked. Wincing, she rubbed her throat, willing her voice to work. Wait. Elly... "Mercs are here." Why did that name sound familiar? Adelle pushed herself forward, her knees groaning in protest. She hissed softly as she slipped past Na'an and jumped to the nearest walkway. Na'an and the Mando could hash it out; at this point, she was too tired to care why the scared little man had a bounty on his head and who he'd pissed off to get it. Right now, she was only good for defending and she could at least do that. Adelle jumped up walkways and windowsills to get to the rooftop, her mind everywhere and nowhere at once. Na'an and the Mando would either split ways, one heading up and the other down, or they'd both go one direction. If Na'an was here, Leigh wasn't far behind. More than likely down on the ground in the bar Na'an had been in, which meant she'd run into Alena or Elly or whatever the hell—Wait.
Elly.
Ell-Ee.
Leigh.
Shit.Adelle vaulted onto the rooftop and released a Force push at the oncoming wave. The Force use burned so good.
So good, she couldn't feel her left arm anymore. Shit.

"I never even got to know your name." "And yet you didn't ask."In a momentary loss of control, Leigh's face flickered to life, looking away from the woman now gripping her arm rather than the other way around. The droid's artificial profile, obscured partially by a tangle of blonde hair, was turned towards the explosion her cannon had caused, the long shape of the Shan jawline tense with some powerful emotion. Whether that emotion was anger, or misery, or some mixture of both, was something no organic being would have been able to discern. Under the normal shine of the dome, the droid's projected eyes glittered feverishly as she pulled her arm loose and fired again into the crowd. She dropped two of the approaching bounty hunters, a pair of heavily scarred Rodians, before the kid she'd temporarily dismissed bellowed at her to 'finish her therapy session later'.
Therapy. Right. Some internal calculation took note of Kent's actions with bemusement. This sort of behavior--blunt, snappy, near-disrespectful even when being genuinely helpful--was starting to form a pattern that Leigh could almost appreciate. Teenage geniuses all seemed to be alike that way. Of course she was right--whatever else she had to say to Eliana Shan was less pressing than the attack she'd brought down on Palecki's. Leigh regained control of her dome, snapping the hologram off and swivelling her focus upward. "They have a vehicle on the roof," she said to Kent, who'd come into possession of her partner's favorite rifle. "Can you aim well enough to get a view?"

He watched through the impassive visor as the first Jedi jumped through the window to disappear from sight for a moment, the echoes that she left upon the presence of Kad showing her ascending to a higher vantage, the rippling pulse of her power flaring somewhere above his head. His beskad drifted from its menacing weave in front of him to smash out the portal next to which he stood, allowing him to cast a glance outside before returning wary attention to the diminutive female before him.
She didn't really appear much of a threat, her mass likely less that half his own considerable armoured bulk. Yet despite her size and seemingly passive attitude there was something that just didn't sit well with the wily bounty hunter. There was a depth to her that he had found lacking in Jedi twice her age, a steely resolve that could only come through hardship and trial. Priest knew well the strength gained from such fires, a will forged mighty within the flames of strife.
The scene outside was easily transferred into his sensor feed and he watched as contact was made below, the steady rumble of conflict growling through Kad's stern gaze as forces joined in deadly dance. As the sensor stream went through its profiling, noting several unsavoury types int the street below, Priest gestured downwards with his heavy sword.
This madness was caused by your Jetii friends interfering. See to them should you wish to cast blame...
He paused as the stream flagged Valus lurking up on a walkway, peering down at the scene below as a garbage truack screeched to a halt in the middle of the street, shielding several antagonist from view.
Haar'chak!
He spat the word out as he suddenly lamented casting aside his blaster rifle, his beskad lowering for a moment as he warred between seeing to the girl in front of him and joining the fray down below.
Get me my bounty back and I will see that he comes to no harm.
He gestured around him with the beskad, the wry smile twisting his lips somehow conveying through the speaker.
That nobody else comes to harm...

Things had become quite entertaining with the arrival of the dual colored haired girl. She didn't know the story with her or the man that she brought, but could tell they were trying to hide or to run, most likely from the events happening down the streets. Her keen sense of the Force let her known something was taking place. She figured that she'd have to make her exit soon so as to avoid getting caught up in anything should the ones coming for them found their way to the bar.
Adding to the sudden interest she had was when one of the women at the one table and the droid had approached the new woman and drug her outside. She only chuckled as she took a sip of her drink, her attention quickly being redirected to the one table where the guy that was brought in fell across another table. She had missed what exactly happened, but she assumed things were getting a little crazy. It wasn't long before Kent ran out of the bar, Gavin soon standing to his own feet and progressing onward outside. Was he following her or was he finally leaving, possibly thinking the same thing she did?
Finishing off her drink, she put her hair back into a pony tail once Gavin was out of sight. She quickly made her way after him, heading out the door. He hadn't gotten too far, letting Kia know which direction he had taken. Going to where she had left her sword, she retrieved in and placed it on her back. Continuing her quick pace, she removed the sword as she approached Gavin from behind. Quietly, she brought the sword above her head until she was close enough to Gavin before bringing it down to cut him in half. *Kia's moves were quiet and she had successfully kept her presence hidden. It was only because of the commotion behind him that he even turned around. He knew things were about to get crazy, but the noise was still enough that made him curious enough to look back over his right shoulder.
It was then that he saw the flash of light from the moving sword. His body reacted, the Force racing through him, enhancing his speed. Quickly he turned to face his follower, right hand moving up to meet the sword. Everything was moving slowly in that moment. He was able to move his hand to the side of the blade and push it down to his side and gripped it to hold it in place.
Any sadness that was in his eyes quickly faded as he looked at his attacker. While his eyes remained focused and piercing, his mind couldn't help but scoff at who he was looking at. Those pale blue eyes that should have been full of life were emotionless. Something he should have expected.*"Hello, sister."

Get me my bounty back and I will see that he comes to no harm.
He gestured around him with the beskad, the wry smile twisting his lips somehow conveying through the speaker.
That nobody else comes to harm...
Na'an paused, considering. In her previous rush, she'd been so focused on getting what she wanted out of Elly she'd barely noticed the small, quivering man beside her. If he was the bounty, then that explained why things had happened so fast after Eliana Shan finally showed her face. Of course, that also meant Adelle was already involved with this in a way that would need a lot of explaining later.. But that would come later. Now was Fighting Time. Or at least Time to Minimize The Fighting. "I'd love to help you out, but I've gotta know. What's your bounty done to get this kind of attention?"Below and above them, the battle was already pitching higher. Na'an secured her footing on the second floor with a wide stance, keeping her eye constantly on the Mando. One of his arms had been bared, but she knew from experience that armor like that had far more than one weapon at its disposal. If he didn't like her asking--which was entirely possible--he might try to plow right through her to get to his prey.

Plowing through her certainly crossed his mind...
She looked so vulnerable perched there with not but the silver hilt for protection against the huge armoured figure before her. Small and delicate in the face of iron and might. A flower easily bent flat in a savage wind. All of these thoughts were discarded in the face of appearances being deceiving. Especially when Jedi were concerned. He had already fallen prey to such inconsistencies and was not about to lower his guard a second time. Her question was one that many a would-be rescuer asked and one that he had never cared to know, such curiosities not part of the job description. Not in the contract.
It briefly occurred to him to lie. To make up some fable about how much of a bad man the mark was, how it would be justice to see him delivered to those that sought his head. Two reasons stayed his tongue; one being that a jedi may well be able to taste the lie even if delivered by the holy tongue of Kad's chosen, the other being the honour she had mentioned earlier. Such falsehoods would flavour wrong in such circumstances and he saw no need to sully himself with such untruths.
Upset the wrong people. Pissed on the wrong chips. Who cares. I am paid to bring him in and bring him in I shall.
The beskad dropped lower to the ground as he followed the deployments outside.
He would refrain from acting until he saw what lines of the map friend and foe would be joined. It was possible that he could play Valus and these pesky Jedi off against each other, or at least make an ally of one group against another...

Na'an bounced on the balls of her feet, her eye following his to catch a glimpse of the scene outside. Adelle wasn't on the ground level, so she must have flipped upwards to face whatever she had heard land on the roof. Leigh was still visible, though, tracking the bounty hunters on the ground with her cannon, Eliana still grasping for her arm. Kent had joined in, her blond head bobbing on the ground as she took potshots with the blaster rifle. As Na'an looked down, the girl's gaze flashed upwards to meet hers. From the second floor, the kid looked so small...
Na'an sighed. "Well, this is a nasty turn of events." One of her hands crept upwards as if to rub at her artificial eye; it hovered, then returned to resting lightly on her hip. She frowned, thinking hard, before she glanced up to regard the Mando again. "I'll tell you what. You seem like an honest man, and I'd like to avoid extra bloodshed if I can."
The small woman continued stretching her legs, keeping her expression light, disarming. "I've got the shabuir who ganked your bounty in custody," she continued. "At this point, both you and I don't want those other nutjobs getting involved and smashing up this bar. If you can give me your word that you won't hurt any bystanders, or just take the guy and run when I'm not looking, I'll help you clear out the competition so we can sort this out properly."
She grinned again, large enough to show eyeteeth. "I'm not a fan of thinking under pressure."

Continuing her quick pace, she removed the sword as she approached Gavin from behind. She could have easily reached for her slug thrower. But she didn't see that working. As quiet as she was, Gavin's movement was quick and accurate. If she moved for her pistol, he'd only stop her. The most she could do was stand there."It was been a while, dear brother. A long while."She felt his grip on her sword. He wasn't as drunk as she thought. Either he was capable of drinking a lot or it was due to their own heritage.

*He felt her attack. It wasn't something to test him or even a weird hello. She was truly trying to kill him. The idea was confusing had he not known her.*
"So this is what it comes down to? You hate Force-sensitives so much that you'll now start killing them one by one?"

Kia's eyes focused harder on him, squinting a bit. Her hatred did burn hot against the ones who used the Force. Even against her own people, who were all Force-sensitives. In the end, she hated herself for being able to use it. But it wasn't about that. It was about something so much more.
"I'm not fool enough to challenge all those who use the Force in this galaxy, despite how much I despise them. No. What I do now is something much more personal."
As she looked at him, her thoughts went back to those early days, when everything that she held dear was taken from her. She was only three when their parents were killed. She had remembered her entire life, the thought of watching her parents fade before her haunting her dreams. It had been that way every since, even to this day. She had also been separated from her brothers. When she found them, she thought they'd feel the same pain, be haunted by the death of their parents. But they weren't. They were living happy lives like nothing was wrong. And now, after all these years, her hatred for her own brothers burned brighter than anything else. but Gavin was all that was left. She settled on that, settled on ending him and being free of her hatred.

*Gavin began to falter as his mind thought on what she meant. In the end, he wasn't sure. He mind was blocked, no doubt skill in sealing her mind. What was clear enough was that she wanted a fight and wanted him dead. Along with her actions was the look of resolve in her eyes. There was nothing he could do to convince her, at least not yet.
Releasing his grip on the sword, he stepped back. He'd have to allow this. But here wasn't the place.
"If you want to fight, fine. But not here. Things are already heating up, as I'm sure you can tell. Meet me on Kiffu. You'll know how to locate me."

Kia took a step back as her released her sword. What was he thinking? Then he spoke. She took a deep breath before sheathing the sword on her back. He was right. Things were starting to get a little crazy back at the bar. She didn't want anyone interfering. And to do so on Kiffu seemed only right. They were half Kiffar. Born on one planet and die on the other. A fitting end, she thought.
"Fine. Kiffu it is. Don't make me wait Gavin."
Without another word, she quickly disappeared into the shadows. It wasn't long before she made her way back to the spaceport where her ship waited. Wasting no time, she entered her YV 929 Armed Transport and began turning on its systems. Once everything was green, the ship lifted of the ground and headed into orbit and was soon gone into Hyperspace, heading for Kiffu.
