Before Atlantis had even started to have that private conversation with Crystal, he had noticed someone else in the waiting area. He, of course, knew her. She was Delaana Wan, his girlfriend’s PA, but what was she exactly doing here? He did not exactly put two and two considering that he had not seen the interaction between Elika and Lana, but if Lana was here, there must have been a reason, and the only reason he was thinking was the fact that despite being Crystal’s PA, his girlfriend did get along with her and Lily too… But he could probably revisit that matter at a later time, considering that Elika had addressed him and he was thankful for her support. Atlantis knew though that the public would be divided or whatever.
Atlantis had clearly seen that look Crystal had given him, he knew what that look meant and of course he would explain whenever they did have a moment alone but he was comforted by the fact that she would heed his warnings, he clearly heard that and he was thankful for it. Ever since she had been attuned to the Force, he really felt that she had more knowledge about it, and he also felt that he could tell her anything and everything without a precise explanation just yet. Although it was probably due to the fact that the two of them were a couple also and maybe she had come to a better understanding. Crystal did know him, he had shared with her a lot of things that he had not shared with Elika and Lily, and he also knew that he could count on her especially for this.
Glancing in his brother’s direction when he too had arrived, Atlantis noticed that Andros really was that exhausted and for a moment he had been inclined to tell his little brother, because Andros was still the younger one out of the two of them despite being identical twins, to just stop and rest for a moment but Atlantis did not even try to get there as he noticed Andros’ inquisitive expression. Atlantis knew for a fact that Mace had sent a message to him to let him know of that precise location, but fact was, Atlantis had burned that lead so to speak, but it did not mean that he would stop keeping both eyes on Lyov and Helaine and even Mace would be doing that especially that it had been one of her statements when they both went their separate ways.
“Nothing conclusive.” Atlantis said out of the blue and he just shrugged, considering that this was a Force related thing, no one, absolutely no one had any jurisdiction on him. Sure he would have to answer to some allegations, but he did not have to listen to the SEO, he also clearly did not have to listen to his brother. He could deviate whenever he wanted to anyways, and such was the MO and MG deal to begin with. Atlantis preferred to share his findings with a few and maybe even let them know the whats and whys they had come to such conclusion but for now he definitely was going to restrict that to a few because with that splatter about his core powers, he did not trust everyone. Sure he had mastery in doppelgänger and sure he could do that whenever he deemed fit but last night he did not even do that, he was with Ryan the whole evening but the younger Solaris, he wouldn’t even bring him into this.
Atlantis took a deep breath and closed his eyes momentarily as he noticed that a reporter had managed to make his way in, Lily saying that no one should be saying a word but thankfully the swift response of some detectives was a welcoming thing because he clearly did not want to issue a statement and he clearly did not want to speak to the press, at all. At least not currently. Atlantis had inclined his head with a faint smile to the detective and he looked at Elika when she said that she would be taking care of the transport, and she was even saying to Delaana to follow her. Atlantis had a faint and knowing smile before glancing at Crystal with that same smile and he nodded to tell her that if he could, he’d come that very evening. “If I can, yes, otherwise I will let you know.”
Glad that at least Franz would be accompanying Elika outside with Lana, after all no one really knew Franz either, except the kids back at the Academy but he had never had any exposure with the press, so that was a plus, he could indeed shadow Elika the best way he knew how. After all, all of them from the Mist Order found a way to make the mist work for them, so that was a plus, but he looked at Lily and Crystal and gestured with his head to go but that did not stop him from actually walking to Crystal and pecking her lips one last time before murmuring a faint, “I love you.” And he guessed that now was the time to actually find Madieke...

Andros had to admit that Elika glaring back at him amused him. The corner of his lips was trying to tilt upwards, and due to his exhaustion, but also the entire situation, Elika just doing that right now, it was amusing him. He, nonetheless, got her message loud and clear and he even glared back at her only because... Besides he wasn't good with words anyways and he knew that Elika knew him enough, or that much to know that he did appreciate her presence currently, but to him this wasn't the time nor the place for a get together. If he really did not want to see any of them he wouldn't even had said that he would find them all tonight. Andros did notice that Delaana Wan was standing behind and he looked back at Elika with an arched eyebrow, but actually he did not want to know, he had already figured it out more or less anyways, but him averting his gaze could have passed up as him leaving her that privacy she was entitled to anyways.
Turning around noticing that a reporter had barged into the precinct delivering multiple of questions. Andros' irritation just started to fuel up once more, and it wasn't helping that he just had not slept yet, so he was bound to snap at some point but thankfully for Jim'ee and his trusty Cammy, they had been intercepted by a set of detectives and he looked at the man impassively before glancing at the Attorney General. He had heard her words, and understood those quite clearly, but now he really was wondering if she was really going to dive into this affair that was clearly the most ridiculous thing ever. Only not really since it concerned his reputation, it also concerned what apparently he had done the other night and it also concerned several other things, but he was really running short on patience, they really should be leaving now.
His brother had said that he had nothing conclusive at all, the hell? Maybe he should be the one visiting the couple or just one of them individually. He might no longer use the Force that much, but he could still make people talk and also he wasn't a bloody bleeding Jedi anyways. He guessed that he should think about that further, but right now he had nothing to answer for, he did not do a thing and quite clearly this was a set up. It did not help that he was the Vice-Governor, that was a fact but currently he found the whole thing just blatantly ridiculous, Andros did not know them, he never did anything to them at all, and maybe he should return the favor one way or the other.
That was an idea definitely, and then he would see who would be laughing last. Turning around, Andros inclined his head to indicate to Crystal that yes, he'd see them tonight definitely and he closed his eyes hearing his cousin's instruction, Andros looked at Crystal and Lily before glancing upwards to let them know where to go for their getaway. Watching them take their leave and making sure that they weren't followed at all, Andros turned around but first looked at Atlantis before handing him a card to give to Madieke. His contact information was there, since it had changed from the last time and he inclined his head briefly before taking another exit of the precinct to return to his office making sure that the mist gave him enough cover so that he would be undetected by everyone that wanted to get a statement from him.

Ordeal. Habitually.
“Alright, Madieke says when the Commissioner lets her know that there is a change in plans where getting the questioning of the Vice Governor is concerned. While she would rather get the ordeal done than put it off, waiting won’t hurt since it is purely a formality in her opinion. With the Vice Governor looking as though he’s been burning the candle at both ends and all but dead on his feet, Madieke can see how he might want to have the conversation another time. Madieke is pretty sure that the leak came from Pakchoain, Nemes, or maybe even Nuala since they were the ones that spoke to Sike’s lieutenants, who she is sure everyone can thank for the attorney representing Orainn and Strago, but until she knows who actually stepped in the poodoo keeps that to herself. I’ll find the leak, Madieke tells the Commissioner, and let you know when I do. If it was Nuala, Madieke will deal with her, and the Commissioner can decide what to do if it was one of the detectives. When Commissioner Niyol asks why they are looking at Entin and Orlov, Madieke thinks she can detect something in the Kel Dor’s tone that indicates some degree of recognition and so decides to tread carefully, saying, The Grandmaster was able to track the killer’s movements to a point in the city midway between the spaceport and one of the wealthier residential areas. We reviewed census date from the area for any recent arrivals with gaps in their documented histories that matched the physical characteristics we have on the suspect, and Entin and Orlov came up since they are relatively new to Umgul. Orlov matches our suspect’s height, and has a good sized chunk of her past that isn’t on any record.” Madieke leaves her account there for now, waiting to see how the Commissioner might respond before deciding whether or not to share the Jedi’s strange, unfounded conviction that Orlov may be who they are looking for.
Hopping down from her swoop after flicking her cigarette butt away, Nuala walks to join the detectives on their way into the precinct. “You guys might want to take a look at this before we go in,” she tells them as she holds her datapad out. Having arrived before the detectives, Nuala had time for a cigarette, and since she habitually surfs the holonet whenever she can, had come across the holonews reports about the witnesses coming out with their story. Some of what the lawyer said in his statement could only have come from the conversation they had with Arezou, and Nuala knows that Maddie isn’t going to be happy, nor is it likely the detective’s supervisor will be either. All three of them will probably be in for an earful since, even though Nemes was the one that did all the talking, she and Nazani could, and probably should have stopped him from revealing all that he had unintentionally revealed.

Did he seriously just wink at us like this is all just okay?! Ugh! Sure, yes I am thankful for the guy, that he and his partner drove Jim'ee away but really he could have done without that stupid wink. Closing my eyes briefly and rubbing my face, I really am not happy, I am disgusted by this whole thing, and Monite has decided to attack Andros personally along with his two witnesses without really understanding the whole thing. Really, I am fine, I am not about to lose it, and I am not about to make a big deal out of this because this happens on a Saturday after a relaxing moment at the spa! So I am having an inner monologue and I am really screaming internally right now because that is all I can do while keeping that composed face of mine like nothing bothers me.
One sleepless night coming right up and another weekend going down the drain. Fabuuuuuuuulous! This better not mess up with my bikini fantasy tomorrow because then I will probably blow a fuse, and no one wants to see that. Although I am very certain that I will have to review that case load that whomever sends me, I really do not have a clue on who contacted me earlier, but then again, I really do not play tea-time with the paralegals so, I am just hoping that he sends me a full detail of Monite's cases otherwise I will tell him off. Taking a deep breath, because this internal ranting is sapping me, I look at both of the guys after baby girl asks them if we will be seeing them tonight, Well then tonight it is hopefully ...
"You really need to rest and have some shut eye, sir, because you really do look like crap." I tell Andros bluntly, he does, I am stating the obvious, and since obviously no one even says a thing about it, I do it. Sure he is my boss, and he looks scary to everyone, but to me, he is not that bad and personally I'd rather deal with him than with that self-righteous, expletive of a man who is known as baby girl's stepdad. But I do not get into that, and I am just thankful that he isn't around, the stepdad, that is as I notice that Andros is looking upwards. Which makes me understand that we should probably take the higher exit considering that already Pookie, Gorgeous and the Hapan Bombshell have retreated already.
Okay, why did Pookie go with them, it could have been a moment between the two women, but no he had to chaperon ... Sighing internally and rolling my eyes briefly, I wait for baby girl and lover boy to be done with their lovey dovey thing and grab Crystal's hand to go up after waving at both of the twins ... "Come on baby girl, the sooner we leave, the better it'll be."

Lana was still leaning casually against the wall, and she had her gaze onto Elika, because she was in fact worried for her. She guessed that she really did care that much about the Vyridian twins and she was very certain that they returned that feeling. Although currently she was grateful that Franz had seemed to appease her whether it worked or not, she had no idea but Lana was silent still at least until Elika came to stand next to her, it got Lana to smile faintly. "It's okay, you do not need to explain, just know that I'll be there whenever you really want me to be there, okay?" She said sincerely as she squeezed Elika's hand in return. Lana knew that she couldn't possibly have the right words to tell her for this occasion considering that she would only be appeased if and when she saw both of the Vyridian men but she could at least do her little part and be there for her and Lana hoped that Elika would understand that definitely.
Crystal was looking at everything that was unfolding before her, and here was something that truly amused her right now it was what Lily had said to Andros. Not a lot of people spoke to him that way, actually no one really spoke to him that way because he did have a fearsome demeanor on a day to day basis, but Lily, Crystal guessed, was one of the few that could get away with it relatively easily. Looking at the twins when they either said that they would indeed be there tonight either verbally or not, Crystal was left with Atlantis telling her that he loved her, so did she, that much was a given but she was shielding her own thoughts for the time being, at least she was being mindful of her thoughts concerning Atlantis' favor. Crystal furrowed her eyebrows when she saw Elika leave with Lana and she smiled knowingly and gratefully knowing that considering that Lana had no solid attachment to the guys, she could be Elika's rock so to speak.
The moment Lana and Elika got to the speeder, Lana had a playful smile on the corner of her lips before shaking her head playfully. "I do know how to pilot but you on the other hand, maybe I should teach you one of these days." Lana said with a playfully wink and just when she was about to get in, she heard that familiar voice that belonged to Franz to let him know that she had it, and that she could trust him with the speeder knowing fully well how men could be whenever a woman would play with their toys so to speak. Starting up the engine, Lana maneuvered expertly this B69 up to where Franz had indicated but she first looked down briefly to check that no one was around, and thankfully no one but just two figures that she recognized. Bringing down the airspeeder, Lana got out of the driver's seat and looked at Franz gesturing for him that he was free to take over since after all she had no idea where they lived. So that was the best solution she guessed.
Crystal and her childhood friend had reached the landing pads above this precinct and she was surprised to have found that Lana had been the one piloting. "Sweetie, I think you should ask Lana to teach you how to pilot your dusty Headhunter." Crystal said nonchalantly since after all it was sitting there in the garage and it had not been used just yet. But finally getting into the airspeeder after telling Elika to go back if she wished, or if Lily did say that whoever really, they could at least finally make their way to their destination which was home...

After he has apologized profusely to the detectives that escorted him from the precinct, promising yet again to remember that the press is not allowed inside, Jim'ee had waited outside across the street from the precinct with his trusty "Cammy" Cam droid hovering over his right shoulder to see if he could catch the Attorney General, Vice Governor, or Grandmaster of the Mist Order on their way out. An hour later, when "Cammy" suggests that the group probably took another exit to avoid the members of the press, several more having arrived to camp out on the steps leading up to the precinct while Jim'ee was waiting, Jim'ee decides to head back to the holonews office to see if the snippet of a statement he had succeeded in getting from the AG is possibly news worthy.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Waiting nervously in front of the editor's desk as his boss reads the article he had prepared based on the Attorney General's reply to his questions, Jim'ee shifts from foot to foot nervously.
"There's nothing here Jimbo, the chunky, disheveled, red haired editor says in his usual lazy and bored sounding voice. No comment means no story. Waving a hand to tell the reporter to leave, the editor tells him, And Jimbo? Wait outside on the steps like everyone else next time, maybe you'll get some use out of that droid of yours that way. Now go out there and get me something other than a no comment."
Shaking his head as Jim'ee scurries away, Doran Healy opens the bottom drawer of his desk and takes out the bottle of whiskey inside to pour himself a quick drink.

Niyol grunts after Aninh answers his question, perceptive enough to tell the human is holding something back. What else? the tall Kel Dor prompts her, having seen the report of the comms that were made to verify Helaine's alibi, Niyol can't see any reason she would be of further interest to the SEO or those working with her, but suspects from her cautious answer that there is something not in their reports that will explain why the couple is of interest to them.
"Crap," Nemes mutters after watching the holonews reports.
"Frak, Nazani agrees, passing the datapad back to Nuala, and then sighing as she says, Let's go and get this over with."
Following the curvy Lorrdian inside the precinct, Nemes offers, "Sorry. I wasn't thinking, I should have . . ."
Patting the Rodian on the shoulder, Nazani says, "Yeah, yeah. Neither was I, I should have stopped you. Frakking Weequay bi. . . Trailing off when she sees Commissioner Niyol in the room with Aninh, Nazani holds her hands up as though surrendering as she says, We fripped up Commish. We went to talk with Sike's lieutenants and . . ."
Not wanting Nazani to take the hit for him, Nemes jumps in, "I said more than I should have in the course of our interview. The crap in the press is on me."

23rd Precinct - 3rd Floor, Conference Room 8
Atlantis walked up the stairs after he had made sure that no one had been following any of the women, although he did retreat considering that Andros was already taking care of that... Atlantis held onto the card that his brother had given him to give to Madieke, but then again he'd give that to her whenever he found the right occasion. That or he would lead her to Andros' office if and when it was necessary or just a neutral ground. He had plenty of ideas for how their encounter could happen but right now he had made his way to the conference room and had seen that the detectives, the rangers and the commissioner were all there.
"Nothing else, Commissioner." Atlantis replied, before grabbing the flimpsi that belonged to both Lyov and Helaine since it appeared to him that the commissioner did know them, and he wouldn't be surprised in knowing that he was friends with the couple considering that he had seen some coverage about the commissioner being in one of Entin's mundane event. Atlantis just put that aside and considered that the matter was settled for the commissioner, but as far as Atlantis was concerned, it really wasn't at all. As far as he was concerned, no one outside of his own personal circle would truly understand, at all. But then he turned to look at the detectives having heard that the leak did come from them.
Atlantis gritted his teeth subtly and closed his eyes before rubbing the root of his nose. There was nothing he could do about that, but then again, they messed up, so did he in a way. Although he always had backed up plans to everything he did, either way, him and Mace had agreed on constricting everything slowly and subtly, at least that was his plan lest Andros had his own set of ideas, he always did. But right now currently he stood aside and leaned against the wall, obviously Mace wasn't with him but then again Mace always had her own ways to deal with things and he was actually glad and thankfully she was on his side.
In the want and in the need to move forward, Atlantis looked at both of the detectives and shook his head with a faint smile, to let them know that he wasn't holding anything against them at all. Sure his abilities could be questioned and sinceriously at this point, he did not care at all. Although now he was certain that they would be aware of that and would be much more careful with their movements in the mist. Now came another thought that he had been discussing with Mace prior to them leaving on their separate ways but there was no way he was going to say anything about that now especially with the commissioner around. "Due to what happened last night, the Intelligence Department might increase the threat alert with the Senator's approval." So he was probably winging that part, but they did not know that considering that he had a normal tone of voice, but then again it was possible for that to happen, the political advisor did have some powers and leeway to make those things happen on behalf of the Senator without ever showing that it was the political advisor to begin with but the Senator he guessed. But he was just assuming and he had no idea how something that massive could be pulled off. But he kept his thoughts and emotions in check, considering that not only a Lorrdian was in this room, but also it appeared that the Commissioner was also very observant anyways. At least his tone was normal and informative but when it came to his emotions, those were still shielded by his crystal.
Shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly, Atlantis looked away briefly and closed his eyes due to exhaustion, but then he looked momentarily at Madieke hoping to convey that he wanted to speak with her, and alone.

Clothe Encounters
Earlier, as he had dropped off the women to their place, Franz was so ready to get out of the speeder but Elika prevented him from doing that. Now here he was, at this shop, for some shopping. Really? He should have probably inaxyed everything to begin with and go see Ayodele to tell her that he wouldn't make it at all due to things that he had to deal with but no. Here he was knowing that at some point he might get the women's wrath after he was asked questions and he would answer that he did not go.
That was a shuddering moment. Sighing softly, he really did not have the heart for shopping but he was trying, he would try, at least. There he was mindlessly browsing on the men clothes selection and he definitely had no idea on what to take or what to really wear for that coffee date. It had been a while since he did this, so in the need and want to have some suggestions, Franz stalked off in the salesperson direction to ask for some advice.
Waiting for a moment if and when they were other customers before him, Franz finally looked at the person with a sheepish expression, maybe he was a little embarrassed, but he still asked. "Uh hi, yeah I uh need something casual, nothing too flashy for a hangout?" Franz scratched the back of his head and mentally kicked himself many times because that was clearly stupid, really what was he saying? But he just did not know, he wasn't his suave of a cousins and he just did not know.
"Do you have any advice?" Franz asked with a faint smile before glancing at his chrono seeing that he still had at least forty five minutes, thankfully before he really thought about that said hangout really...

Clothe Encounters
Mi-Hi wraps things up with the Quarren woman she had been helping, and then starts refolding the garments the Quarren had left scattered all over the store while trying to decide on something without the aid of a helpful salesperson like Mi-Hi to help her out even though Mi-Hi had offered to help her. Looking up from her folding, her head bopping to the current tune playing on the store's speakers, Mi-Hi recognizes the shy guy from when he was here before with hot mom and her pals. "Hot mom's friend! Mi-Hi says cheerfully, and then nods along while shy guy stammers his way through his question. Blowing a pink bubble with a final nod when asked if she has any advice, Mi-Hi hops limberly and lithely over the counter and, after the bubble pops, says, Never fear, I'll get ya sorted all right and proper. Leave it all to me," waving an arm for him to follow her back towards the men's section.
Using her keenly honed powers of observation and intuition, Mi-Hi is pretty sure she's dealing with a first date jitters kinda situation here, no dude's this nervous about what they're wearing unless they're about to embark on a first date with someone they're interested in but probably don't know a whole lot about. All she needs to do, Mi-Hi knows from experience, is figure out a bit about shy guy to get a feel for what sort of dude he is when he isn't shy, find out where the date is going down, and maybe a little about whoever it is he's interested in so that she can put together a fab outfit that he feels confident in, that gives a good impression, and that won't look like he's trying too hard in. Easy. Clapping her hands together when they reach the men's section, Mi-Hi says, "Ya gotta tell me a few things for this to work out, alrighty? Ready? Describe yourself in three words. Snapping her fingers so he doesn't have a lot of time to think about it and she gets his unfiltered thoughts, Mi-Hi says, Fast, fast, fast, no thinking hard. Nodding after question one is answered and out of the way, Mi-Hi grins and says, Next ones are easy, relax. Where is the hangout happening? Nodding when she knows where things are happening, Mi-Hi says, Lastly but not leastly, give me some impressions of the lucky dude or dudette you're all nervous about. What drew ya to 'em? We talking someone all cool and refined and stuff, or someone more down to Umguly?"

Clothe Encounters
... 'Hot mom's friend'? Uh what? Franz was blinking quickly in the saleslady's direction wondering what she was on about. He knew no one who was a mother, at least not just yet, and he looked at Mi-Hi dubiously before laughing at the thought. Sure he had heard Lily and Elika calling Crystal 'mom' playfully but Mi-Hi couldn't possibly think that she was a mom, right? "Uh, before we start." Franz started to say with an amused expression. He was thankful to actually having made this detour, because this was entertaining compared to the mess ups where he was a bystander but still that did not mean it did not matter to him because Atlantis and Andros were still his cousins, sure adopted, but still cousins. "None of the women I was with yesterday is a mom." Franz informed her playfully before he followed her to where he had been earlier but really earlier, he was just mindlessly browsing and he guessed that having her help would really be beneficial.
"Goofy, insecure and caring." He said, although when she did ask for those three things, he was about to spend a moment to think about it but she did not give him any chance at all, so he just went for that. Although he really wasn't sure if that really described him, he guessed that a third party would fit for this occasion, although he was here flying solo and he just said those that came to mind. In a way it was how he saw himself, at least he guessed it was that way, after he really wasn't into the whole describing himself because he just couldn't. Franz shrugged and smiled sheepishly hoping that those three words would indeed help her out.
Now he really was thankful that the next questions were easy enough, Franz told her the location, "The Hallowed Grounds," Before he smiled at his thoughts, about the person he was going to meet later. How could he really describe her when no words would actually do her justice in his opinion but he would try. "She has the most reflective eyes, and a smile that makes you skip a beat." Franz said thoughtfully before closing his eyes briefly remembering how soft her hands were when she was massaging him to begin with, it was soft and gentle, but then he got to shake her hand back at the bar. "Definitely more down to Umguly." Franz replied with a knowing smile, at least that was how he saw her as, after it was too soon to tell considering that he had only met her today and he did not know that much about her. "I could tell that she was confident since she was holding my gaze the whole time I spoke with her, but after that, I have no more ideas... I have only met her today." He admitted with a sheepish grin.

Clothe Encounters
Mi-Hi rests her chin on top of the back of her hand after shy guy has answered the last of her questions, nods to herself and then runs a hand through her unruly mop of dark hair as she says, "I can work with all that, with a confident and cheerful grin. As she turns and begins grabbing things from shelves, selecting the bits and pieces of her first creation, Mi-Hi says, Now, you asked me for advice, and I'm going to give you some for free. Ready? Here goes. No one likes to see a lotta insecurity in a date, casual or otherwise. Oh sure, everyone feels it from time to time, but letting it out and putting it on display? Not so much. Be a little more self-confident. Everyone finds that attractive, trust me. Alright, end of lesson, here's, Mi-Hi arranges the hangars she has put the pieces of her creation on so that they are layered like they would be worn, holding it up in front of herself as she says, option number one. The jacket and pants give it a touch of class without going overboard, and the scarf, combats, and vest add some whimsy to highlight your goofy side. Setting the outfit aside, Mi-Hi starts collecting what she has selected for her second creation, describing it before displaying it, Next we have something a bit more on the casual side of the scale, given just a hint of preppy cool with the jacket. Holding the outfit up in front of her to model it, Mi-Hi turns from side to side as she says, The bright and energetic pattern on the shirt gives it a nice carefree and playful undertone. The hat is optional, I'm not sure you're a hat guy. Tossing the hat skillfully onto the head of a nearby mannequin, Mi-Hi says, Actually, no hat. I forbid it. Your hair is just too tousled and cool to be hidden beneath a hat. Her last option is quickly assembled, and as she lifts the hangers in front of her to display it, she says, Last we have a timeless classic, simple, yet with just the right note of class. Just add the scarf from options one or two and you've expressed that goofy side. Setting the third choice aside, Mi-Hi models the first two outfits for shy guy one more time, and then smiles as she asks, So, anything calling your name, or do we need to keep searching?"

Blatant. Dispirited. Compartmentalized.
Before Madieke can consider how best to answer the Commissioner's request that she explain what other reasons Orlov remains of interest to the investigation, first Nuala and the detectives return, followed shortly thereafter by Atlantis. Listening as Nazani and Nemes reveal that they are responsible for the release of the information that was ultimately leaked to the press, Madieke does her best not to look as frustrated and annoyed as she feels since, with the Commissioner still present, she imagines he will want to decide how to deal with the situation since the detectives are under his command even though she is in charge of the overall investigation. Giving Atlantis a curious look when he tells the Commissioner that there is nothing else relevant to add to the discussion he must have overheard about Orlov and Entin, Madieke wonders what his motives are. Given how blatant Atlantis had been about being convinced Orlov is their killer, it seems somewhat strange that he would not share his suspicions with the Commissioner. Then again, Madieke thinks as she recalls how close to the vest Atlantis has been playing things, even, much to her frustration, where she is concerned, maybe she should not be too surprised. When Atlantis informs everyone that the threat level will most likely be raised as a result of the killings, Madieke doesn't react outwardly even though that seems like an overreaction until she thinks about the finger pointing going on in the press and of how the government's integrity has been called into question as well. The situation with the press could either be an unfortunate and unplanned effect of the killings, or, more disturbingly, another part of whatever the killer's, or whoever hired them, end game might be.
Nodding just enough to let Atlantis know that she has received his silent message about wanting to talk to her alone when they get a chance, Madieke says dryly to Nuala, "Go home. You're done for today. Be back here tomorrow by eight in the morning. Looking at Nemes and Nazani, Madieke says, Until I say otherwise, I'll be handling any interviews. As Nuala, looking dispirited enough that Madieke trusts she has gotten her message across about being more careful with what comes up in an interview with anyone outside of the investigative team in the future, leaves the room, Madieke looks at Commissioner Niyol and says, If you'll excuse us a moment, the Grandmaster and I have something to discuss," glancing towards the detectives to give the impression she is really making the request to give him a chance to deal with disciplining them in private.
Walking down the hall to an empty interview room, Madieke walks inside and sits on the edge of the table. Once Atlantis has stepped inside and closed the door, Madieke asks tiredly, "How'd it go with Orlov and Entin?" It has been a long, frustrating day for her, and Madieke knows it has been even more trying for Atlantis, but being tired and frustrated goes with their jobs. Hopefully Atlantis wanting to speak with her alone means he will level with her, but after the way he and Mace have been acting as though they are a compartmentalized unit of two rather than a part of the whole team, Madieke doesn't let herself get her hopes up.

23rd Precinct - 3rd Floor, Conference Room 8
Niyol narrows his eyes beneath his protective goggles when Atlantis says there is nothing else about Lyov or Helaine that makes them persons of interest to the investigation, not convinced by either the Grandmaster's words themselves or the show the human makes of taking the sheets of flimsi as though they are no longer relevant. Very well, the tall Kel Dor says, not bothering to keep either his skepticism or dissatisfaction with being told a rather obvious lie from his tone. While he prefers dealing with humans, like Andros, that do not conceal their intentions or thoughts from those that fight the same fight, Niyol has enough faith, if only because he trusts Andros and his judgement, in Atlantis to let him play things his way since Andros has made his respect for his twin's judgement clear.
After the SEO and Atlantis have left, the tall Kel Dor tells Nemes, Close the door, and, once it has been closed, makes his opinion of the Rodian and his partner's frak up abundantly clear, only Andros' request that he not go too hard on them keeping either from being temporarily suspended without pay or removed from the investigation.

Clothe Encounters
Listening attentively to Mi-Hi's advice, Franz pursed his lips thoughtfully. Self-confidence? He guessed he could try but then again, it seemed like a long time ago since he lost that side of him. He supposed that it wouldn't hurt at all. "I'll try..." Franz said thoughtfully as he rubbed the back of his neck before smiling at Mi-Hi with a warm smile. "Thanks for the advice." He said sincerely even though he wasn't sure at all how he was going to make that work considering that he really did not know that much about Ayodele and his mind was shutting off most of his functional abilities. Speech and clarity to think clearly. He was nervous that was a fact, but then again he hadn't done this in a long time. He figured that it would either work or not, but at least like Lily, Crystal and Elika had told him, he had tried and he really had nothing to lose at all.
Franz looked at the selection she was presenting and he wasn't that convinced by the first set. That wasn't him at all and that seemed like it was too much. Although he did not say a thing about that for the time being, so he just silently continued to listen as she presented other choices. The second, he could probably make that work, but without the hat, he really wasn't a hat guy at all and he had that amused smirk on his features when she forbade the hat thing. Then the third, actually that was more like him, he liked the simplicity, and he would have more freedom to move he guessed. Not that he couldn't do with the second choice, but he preferred to wear something that wouldn't wear him down so to speak. Also he could do without the scarf but as he looked outside, he probably should have the scarf as a precautionary measure.
"I am much more inclined to go with the third choice." Franz informed her with a faint smile. He was just a simple guy, he did not want to have too much so to speak on him but as he looked at the scarfs, he tilted his head from side to side and took a deep breath. He felt like those scarfs wouldn't fit with the third outfit really, at least in his honest opinion, but then again what did he know about fashion overall anyways. "Uh, do you by any chance another scarf choice for the third outfit? Plain black or something?" Franz asked curiously although he was feeling a little bad since he did love her choices but it felt like he was giving her extra work, when really this shouldn't be that big of a deal.

23rd Precinct – 3rd Floor, Interrogation Room 3
Atlantis followed Madieke outside of the conference room they were in, and he knew that the Commissioner had left him off the hook, for whatever reason? Atlantis didn’t know at all, after all he and Andros did not talk much about their dealings on a day to day basis. So if it was because of the Vice-Governor, Atlantis really had no idea about the how and all of that. Shutting the door behind him Atlantis leaned against that said door and looked around for a moment, and yes maybe he was starting to be paranoid, but really he wouldn’t be surprised if Lyov did have connections to this place and he also wouldn’t be surprised if the mics in this interrogation room were suddenly turned on and everyone would hear what he would have to say, and quite honestly he preferred not to take any chances at all, especially here, when clearly his abilities had already been leaked by the two detectives…
“They have that solid alibi of being present the whole time during their benefit.” Atlantis said with a nonchalant shrug, sure nothing they had said or did while he was there at their estate make it abundantly clear that they were the guilty ones, but Atlantis did not believe their masquerade at all. Atlantis had said what was what right there, but everything in his gaze said differently of course which was why he was still looking at Madieke for the longest time in silence.
“My brother wishes to speak with you, in a more familiar location where they are many people around.” Grabbing that card from his back pocket, Atlantis handed that to her, although knowing Andros, the man would choose his office as a rendez-vous point. “I will also be there but as far as you or anyone else is concerned here, you can remove Entin and Orlov from the suspects list, but I will want you to take that decision after you and I are really done talking with my brother there.” Atlantis told her meaningfully, yes they were all on the same side but he really had to thread carefully considering that this wasn’t just about him, and he might be violating the privacy of a person sooner rather than later.
“One last thing, if you do decide to hear me out, or even my brother, everything will have to be off the record.” At least he had warned her but there were a lot of things that he was indeed keeping a secret, and so was his brother. Looking at her dubiously, since obviously the ball was in her court, Atlantis waited for a moment to let her process her thoughts first before finding his own brother, who Atlantis was sure, was back at the government building.

Clothe Encounters
"Option number three, Mi-Hi says chipperly, handing the hangers with the outfit he has selected to Franz, then walking over to where she had selected the scarves and picking out a nice, cozy, casual black one that will go well with his outfit. Laying the scarf on top of the coat Franz is holding, Mi-Hi points towards the changing rooms and says, You'll be wanting to wear that out I'm guessin', so go on and change and, she takes the tags off of his outfit since she's helpful like that, I'll have you rung up by the time you're out. Picking up the other outfits so she can hang them back up, Mi-Hi grins as she says, Remember, confidence. You've been dressed by Mi-Hi, so walk tall son. Demonstrating for him as she heads for the check out, Mi-HI says, Back straight, shoulders back, chin up. Walk tall."
Blowing a bubble as she hops back over the counter, Mi-Hi rings shy guy up, and then waits for him to finish changing.Hallowed GroundsA punctual creature by nature, Ayodele arrives before the assigned time, the only change in her wardrobe the addition of a light brown coat worn over the simple black pants and blouse she wears when working. She does not need the coat, the vagaries of temperature and climate things that do not affect her, wearing it only so that she draws no attention to herself as drawing attention has never been something she has desired for many reasons, some no longer necessary while others will always persist so long as she chooses to live a life both more simple and less solitary than that she has left behind on Polus, and other worlds before it.
Seating herself at a table for two after purchasing a spiced caf, half of which she dumps out after adding cream and stirring it in, and a crumblebun, a half of which she also places in a bin as she consumes neither caf nor pastry though she enjoys the warmth of the caf and occasionally uses the pastry for the same reason she sometimes wears a coat, Ayodele sits with an easy, languid, and unpracticed grace to await the arrival of he that she is here to meet. Expectations are things Ayodele has disciplined herself to resist, having found that she prefers to pass through this life she has made for herself on Umgul free from them as doing so allows things to unfold without the subtle influence that expectation can exert.

Clothe Encounters
Franz was smiling gratefully, not just for the clothes Mi-Hi was handing to her along with the scarf, but for the help she had given him. Nodding to confirm that he indeed wanted to wear the clothes, Franz got into the changing room and removed the ones he currently was wearing and neatly folded those after he had worn his new clothes. Looking at his lightsaber, he took a deep breath and concealed that again on himself where it was inconspicuous. Finally walking out of the changing room completely changed, Franz was holding onto Atlantis' clothes, his wallet in one of the pockets still and he walked up to the counter feeling very comfortable in his skin right now. "Thank you." Franz said sincerely before retrieving the wallet and asking for a bag so that he could put the clothes he was holding into it.
Finalizing his purchase, Franz used his card that he hadn't used much before but knew that it contained a several numbers to it thanks to Atlantis and the Government and he paid for his purchase before grabbing the receipt and putting that into the bag. "Next time, I need more styling advice, I know where to come." Franz sad with a nod before glancing at the chrono, okay he still had fifteen minutes he guessed and since he disliked being late, Franz took a deep breath, and took his shopping bag, waving at Mi-Hi again with a grateful smile before exiting the store to get into his airspeeder placing the bag into the trunk. He closed his eyes momentarily and remembered the direction thanks to Elika who had given it to him earlier...
Hallowed Grounds
Hopping off his speeder, Franz wrapped his scarf securely around his neck and despite feeling a little guilty that he was doing this now with everything that was happening with his cousins, he still made his way into the coffee spot. His emotions mixed with guilt and nervousness somehow. Spotting Ayodele relatively quickly but first he went to purchase a vine-coffee, something that he got a liking to thanks to his cousin who often had that at the Academy but he was sure that the addiction for that beverage came from the women.
Finally making his way towards where Ayodele was, he stood there for a moment and looked at her with a warm smile before placing a hand on the back of the free seat. "Hi," Franz smiled warmly, everything that Mi-Hi had told him earlier, confidence and all of that, seemed to have vanished quickly when Ayodele looked at him. Smiling briefly as he remembered finally what he wanted to say to begin with, he sheepishly grinned again before asking. "May I join you?" He had noticed that she must have eaten half of her pastry and drank half of her coffee, but he wasn't late, right? Frowning at himself and looking at her apologetically, he said sincerely. "I apologize for arriving just now, you must have been here for a moment..." It was the only thing he could assume now, half of the pastry and half of the coffee gone, Franz was feeling guilty before and now he felt even more guilty he guessed. He really wasn't good at this...

Hallowed Grounds
Were she so inclined, Ayodele might make use of the telepathy her Force sensitivity allows her access to so that she might gauge what lays at the root of the nervousness she needs no such gifts to see in Franz's posture and in his tone, but as she chose long ago to no longer utilize her Force sensitivity, she does not. Seeing no need for Franz to be nervous, Ayodele does what she can to try and dispel it, smiling with no mockery as, her dark brown eyes seeking his and holding them as, it will soon become apparent, is her custom when speaking with others, she says truly, "While it has admittedly been quite some time since I have done this, I believe that it is still customary for those that agree to meet one another to safely and correctly assume that they will, in fact, be joining one another when the meeting occurs. Lifting a hand to gesture towards the chair Franz has placed his hand on the back of, Ayodele says, If, however, an invitation will make you feel more at ease, I would be most pleased if you would join me, Franz. Lifting her mug of spiced caf as Franz either sits or continues, for whatever reason, to remain standing, Ayodele lifts it to her lips as though taking a sip, allowing the caf to touch, but not pass, her lips. Setting the mug down, Ayodele says, You have no need to apologize, for it was I that was early, and you that is on time, and so it would seem it is in fact I that should apologize to you. You will, I trust, forgive me for my impatience in beginning to drink my caf before you arrived?"
Folding her hands together, Ayodele rests them beneath her chin as, leaning forward as though to take Franz into her confidence, she says in her almost lyrical voice, a voice that speaks of confidence and a love of employing language precisely, and a voice that has no discernible accent to suggest where Ayodele originates from, "You have no need for nervousness, Franz. It does not suit you, and, she smiles warmly, a playful glint in her dark eyes despite the clear and unmistakable sincerity of her tone, I can promise that you have nothing to fear from me." While what she says would have once been untrue, Ayodele tells the truth to Franz now, as she will always do. While there are things she might choose to conceal, to present from only a certain angle, or to omit, Ayodele has a policy of truthfullness that she adheres to unswervingly.

Less so. Terms.
Not an outwardly expressive woman at the best of times, Madieke is even less so as she listens to Atlantis. Not only hearing what he says aloud, but also understanding what the Jedi tells her through the look in his eyes, Madieke nods when he has conveyed what he came to communicate to her, letting her eyes tell him that she has understood all that he has said and not said. With all that has gone on during the course of the investigation thus far, Madieke is not entirely convinced that he truly intends to level with her as he has implied he will when they meet with his twin, but she decides to reserve her ultimate judgement on that account until after she has heard him out.
"Off the record, Madieke repeats, letting him know that she agrees to his terms. Placing the card Atlantis had given her into the breast pocket of her jacket, Madieke asks, When do you want to have the meet with your brother?" Atlantis will know whether Andros is the type to get formalities out of the way as soon as possible or to put them off, and she trusts the Jedi to be honest with her about his brother's preference on the matter, even if she is not, at the moment, sure she should trust him about much else. Having seen Atlantis lie without any apparent hesitation or regret to the Commissioner, and admit he intends to lie to the detectives, Madieke can't be sure his apparent decision to take her into his trust is not just one more thing he is, for whatever reasons he might have to be doing so, lying about. Maybe why he feels the need to keep things from the UPD is one of the things he will reveal, which is why Madieke refrains from making any attempt to guess whether or not Atlantis is trying to play her as well.
