Starport - Blind Justice - Docking Bay
The Blind Justice safely made it's way from orbit down to the designated docking bay of the Umgul City Starport with no troubles at all. When the ship settled to the ground Captain Janser announced their landing as he and the co-pilot ran all of their necessary post flight checks. Back in the passengers lounge, Kassidy Payne, Lindsay Mildhurt, and Nikky Skylander were gathered around a table and checking the bags that they would carry with them to be checked with customs. Even Mazikeen, who had traveled along with them, was sitting quietly in a corner of the room after having already closed up her bag. The only one missing was Stefanie Strange, and it didn't go unnoticed either. Glancing around the room Nikky zipped up the small duffel bag in front of her and straightened to her full height before looking over to Kassidy and Lindsay.
"Has anybody seen Stefanie for the last hour or two?"
Lindsay set her bag aside before smoothing a hand down the front of her shirt and meeting Nikky's gaze with a thoughtful look. "She was going to her cabin last time I saw her, to go over what we know so far about the Vyridian case."
From the other side of the table, Kassidy placed her hands on her hips with a small sigh of annoyance. "She's not in there going over the case. She's in there dwelling on shit again - all the shit that happened during that holocomm because it brought up the past again, what happened on Coruscant....and Crystal Kayne." She caught her lower lip between her teeth as she folded her arms across her chest with an small exhalation of air.
The short silence was broken by the sound of Stefanie's voice from the doorway of the lounge. "I'm here. Let's get this show on the road, shall we?" She asked, taking them all in her gaze with a slight smile, then settling her eyes on Kassidy for a moment. "And I wasn't 'dwelling on shit', either."
She stated while pinning Kassidy with one of her "Strange Stares". Kassidy simply gave her a sly smirk then looped an arm around Stefanie's shoulders as they began to follow Lindsay and Nikky down the boarding ramp out to the floor of the starport.
"You are a terrible liar sometimes, sweetpea....you know that, right? Now smile like you mean it, Strange." She whispered in Stefanie's ear, with a small chuckle, as they stepped off of the ramp awaiting the customs officers and spying their long time friend, Ljiljana Jankovic, standing not far from the bottom of the ramp.
"Ohh look, there's Lily....with a smokin' hot blonde, I might add." Kassidy grinned at the others as she removed her arm from Stefanie's shoulders and waved a hand toward Lily and the other woman.
"Oh my gahd, Kassidy, shut up for once in your life! That's Nash's sister, Delaana. Do not embarrass yourself, or the rest of us, in front of her!" Lindsay hissed through clenched teeth as she leaned over to Kassidy giving her a not so light nudge in the ribs as she did so before smiling toward Lily and Delaana.
Kassidy had to stifle a laugh as Lindsay, not so subtly, elbowed her in the ribs. Smiling affectionately at Lindsay, Kassidy pursed her lips as she folded her arms across her chest.
"You're asking for a miracle, Linds. We all know Kassidy and how hard it is for her to keep quiet." Stefanie gave them both a small smile as she adjusted the strap of her bag over her shoulder.
"Hey! I'll have you know that I can, and do, actually keep quiet about a lot of things!" She retorted with a feigned look of surprise and hurt before looking toward Lily again and meeting her gaze as she and Delaana approached them.

Starport - Blind Justice docking bay
Delaana Wan, who was present here at the spaceport as well for her own reasons, was standing next to Umgul's Attorney General. Lana was listening attentively to what Lily was saying, and she was, of course, amused though outwardly she didn’t show it as much but just smiled naturally. "I am not even going to ask about those reasons, for I am sure those are very valid ones..." Lana replied without an ounce of sarcasm. From what she understood, or at least figured out more or less, Lily, just like Crystal, who was her boss since Lana was Crystal's PA, knew the three senior partners of Payne, Mildhurt, & Strange. What they might not have known maybe, Lana knew them as well, not personally no but more thanks to her younger brother who actually worked for them but was actually seeing one of those senior partners.
Lindsay Mildhurt.
Whom actually just walked down the ramp which got Lana to focus on her and smile warmly and naturally. Stifling a little laughter reading clear as day that exchange between Lindsay and Kassidy, she assumed, Nash did tell her that one of the senior partners had no filter, pretty much like Umgul's very own AG when they were with friends, it would certainly take a lot for Delaana to be shocked anyways. "Will you do the honors, Lily?" Lana asked teasingly gesturing towards the five women who actually disembarked the spacecraft. "If you don't mind though, I'd like to meet the woman who makes my brother's heart beat exponentially." Lana left it at that for now as she spoke casually and nonchalantly before walking towards the women and inclining her head respectfully.
"Welcome to Umgul, I hope you had a pleasant trip?" Lana asked genuinely and looked at all of them equally before adding on. "My name is Delaana Wan, and I work for Ms. Kayne, as her PA. It is nice meeting you all, although," Focusing her attention onto Lindsay this time mainly, and smiling warmly. "I do believe we have a man in our life in common, and it is finally good to be meeting you, Counselor Mildhurt." Lana warmly said before glancing over her shoulder seeing Lily over there but then she looked back at Lindsay with a smile and chuckled soon after.
"Hopefully we'll have more opportunities to speak more later or whenever, for now though, I do believe that Counselor Jankovic wanted to greet you personally. And then we'll make sure to get you settled in comfortably for the duration of your stay here." Stepping aside as she noticed some of the customs officials make their way towards the docking bay and mainly those who had disembarked to check their credentials and effects, Lana picked up her datapad and sent a HNN to Crystal to inform her of P.M.S.'s safe arrival but also her brother who apparently needed to know that the one he had come to refer to as his Childao was safe and sound...

Spaceport - Blind Justice docking bay
"Always valid, because reasons ... Responding playfully to the Hapan Bombshell completed with a wink, I look back down my datapad and finish that message before shutting that off and looking back at the boarding ramp there that is lowered. I still wonder how this is going to all turn out, sure I have missed them, well maybe less about a particular someone but still reasons, though hopefully that can be all fixed ... Cutting my thoughts short and spying Spanky right there in front of me with Bolter, Bodacious followed by Sweet Cheeks, and the Newbie, also someone else, whomever that is, I turn my head from that Payne on everyone's ass back to the Hapan Bombshell with a dubious expression. Uh wait, what?"
The woman who makes the brother of the Hapan Bombshell heartbeat exponentially. Who now? Standing there for a moment and just advancing soon enough because I can be curious for my own good, I am just staring blankly and listening attentively to what Lana is saying to Sweet Cheeks actually. That subject is one that actually make me laugh for some unfathomable reasons. "Oh I should have known ... I start saying to no one in particular as I look at the three who I used to consider like sisters but then without a warning, after focusing mainly on Lindsay, I flick her forehead gently, soon followed by Spanky and then last but not least Stefanie. So, now that we are done with the formalities, where is the love, bitch? Looking at Spanky with a deadpan look before smirking and taking her in my arms actually hugging her affectionately. So, Sweet Cheeks, you are dating the Hapan Bombshell's brother, that certainly is a step up from that other, right?" Arching my eyebrow dubiously looking at Kassidy still, I finally focus my attention on the Newbie and then that other woman.
"I know you, I end up telling Nikky before focusing my attention onto Mazikeen But I do not know you, either way, to all of you, welcome to Umgul, like Delaana has said, and yadda yadda, we all need to catch up, and actually for the time being Baby Girl is indisposed ... Considering what I have come to know, actually what I was told by Hot Stuff but also Baby Girl in a way, I do not blame them at all for the time being of not wanting to deal with extra dramas. But you all are staying in the Misty Lodge, though I had no idea there would be five of you, but that can be fixed, I am certain, though those trivial things aside, I need to update you all, and then we'll catch up on stuff, and you, Strange, need to get to talking with Crystal but today is not a good time. I tell her unequivocally without any ounce of over-protectiveness before sighing and looking at the custom officials. Everything good? I ask them since during all of this time, they have been checking everything and registering any weapons that were carried by anyone, etc. Getting a nod from the leader, I turn my attention back to all of them and incline my head. Shall we, then?"

Knight Pakwa Sayen and I arrive somewhat late to the meeting; my sleep having been troubled by vague and shapeless dreams that, though I cannot recall them entirely, leave me feeling unsettled, as though the dreams had contained a message of importance for me which I cannot remember. Even the phantom other me that has lingered to haunt or taunt me ever since my ill-fated trip to Bimmisaari has been uncharacteristically silent or absent, as though she too has been profoundly disturbed by her own dreams which, by necessity, can only have mirrored mine.
After greeting the detectives, willing myself to sound and appear every bit as composed and tranquil as ever, a task made easier by virtue of the fact that I have cultivated my demeanor and bearing over many years, I walk over to Madieke as Pakwa takes her seat, wanting to speak to the Sector Ranger alone before sharing what I would like to do in light of what I have come to suspect with the other members of the team.
"I was wondering, I begin, if it would be possible for the UPD to handle the surveillance without Pakwa and I for today. Explaining, in brief, the reason for my request, I continue without wasting too much time on detail which might ultimately prove inconsequential, I believe we may have uncovered a potential lead into the identity of the information broker some of the evidence strongly suggests was involved in all that has transpired, and would appreciate the opportunity to pursue it further."

Close to the chest. Scent to chase. Follow through. Keep tabs.
Guessing that Master Roma has her reasons for playing it close to the chest with the possible identity of the information broker the investigation has uncovered only the suggestion of so far, Madieke has no issue with letting her and the Felucian Jedi follow the lead they have come across. With a shrug of her shoulders, Madieke says, "Take all the time you need, and make sure to keep the rest of us in the loop."
Addressing Nemes and Pakchoian, Madieke says, "I want you two on the shooter than took out our Shapeshifter. Probably a dead end, Madieke admits in light of the fact that identifying the assassin that eliminated the only being on Umgul who might have been able to lead them to the one or ones pulling the proverbial strings of all involved in the conspiracy against the Vyridian twins and possibly the very government of Umgul itself, but see if you can find a scent to chase anyway."
As they do have something to celebrate despite the overall feeling Madieke has that things are still far from over, she does her best to sound less dry than usual as she says, "Nice work on this so far everyone. We've cleared the twins, and forced whoever was trying to set them up to eliminate what I am sure was a central player in their plans. With the Clawdite no longer available to cover his, her, or their tracks, I suspect we'll either see a change in tactics, or an attempt to slink into the shadows. Let's make sure we don't give whoever was behind this the chance to escape justice. Let's not let the fact that last night goes in the win column make us sloppy or complacent now. Let's follow through with this all the way, and get whoever set this all in motion."
Having made as much a speech as she intends to make, Madieke waves a hand towards the door, dryly saying, "Enough sitting around patting ourselves on the back, let's get back out there and do our jobs."
Clapping her hands and then taking her lollipop from her mouth, Nuala grins as she says, "Very motivational. I particularly loved the whole not escaping justice part. I got chills, really. So, she says after returning her lollipop back to her mouth, what are you n' I gonna do today to, she deepens her voice and stands with her hands on her hips in a heroic pose, make sure justice is served?"
Drumming her fingers on the top of the desk as she faces the board tracking the investigation's progress, Madieke, ignoring Nuala's antics in the hope that doing so will not encourage any more of them, is quiet for a moment before answering, "We shuffle the surveillance teams around. I want us to sit on Entin and Orlov today, see firsthand if there are any signs that last night has rattled them."
"Cool," Nuala, used to Madieke's moods and not letting the seriousness affect her own mood in the least, says as she skips after Madieke, following her out of the room.
After rearranging the surveillance teams so that all of their suspects are being watched, Madieke and Nuala head for the observation point selected to keep watch over Entin's mansion. The spot chosen is far enough away that Madieke's vehicle will not stick out, yet close enough that electrobinoculars and sound amplifying listening devices will enable them, to keep tabs on the couple she has come to believe just might be behind the plat against the Vyridian twins.

Time for the real Cerise Reyer to come home, Neassa thinks to herself as she clicks off the holonews and prepares to start packing up. Nothing in the holonews reports she has listened to suggests to her that she needs to worry too much about them showing up on her doorstep, but Neassa, who knows that the UPD might be keeping some information from the press, feels no reason to stick around to test her theory. Neassa's contract has been fulfilled, and the Vilhjalmssons have confirmed that both her payment and her ride to Rodia, where her ship and the woman who's identity she has borrowed, are waiting for her. It would be interesting to see how everything on Umgul turns out, her enigmatic employer's agenda an unknown one that Neassa's curiosity ensures she would like to learn of, but she can follow the holonews from offworld just as easily as she can here on Umgul.
As she packs, Neassa mentally reviews her movements from the previous evening to satisfy herself that she has left nothing behind in the city that might lead the UPD to her. The swoop Neassa used was stolen, so having left it behind poses no threat, and the clothing she wore, which included a bulky overcoat with a deep hood that will have kept her face hidden from any of the security cameras rumored to blanket Umgul city. The gloves she wore will have prevented her from leaving any fingerprints behind on the swoop bike or elsewhere, and so, all in all, Neassa feels there is little to no chance the UPD will be able to identify her, much less track her down.
After finishing packing, Neassa takes the real Cerise Reyer's vehicle into Umgul city, leaving it in the spaceport's long term landing bay area, and then makes her way to the landing bay where the Vilhjalmssons had told her she will find Viho and the ship he will take her to Rodia in.

The Enchanted Florist
After Madieke's briefing, Knight Sayen and I make our way to the floral shop that very well might prove to be where the information broker believed to be involved in the conspiracy against Atlantis and Andros will be found. As I set the speeder down after a pass around the shop and the nearby vicinity to get a feel for the area, old habits difficult to shed even though, even should my suspicion prove founded, the idea of the twins operating the shop attempting to flee from it or Pakwa and I simply for asking the few questions we have come to ask in hopes of confirming or refuting those suspicions seems far fetched.
"Ready?" I ask Pakwa, exiting our airspeeder when the uncharacteristically silent Sullustan nods in reply. Entering the shop, Pakwa and I make our towards the center of it, looking all the while for the twins that own and operate it. . .

Nodding and giving Madieke a thumbs up when she hands out the assignments for the day, Nemes says, "On the shooter, got it, and then leans over to whisper to Nazani, Probably a dead end is right. Where do you think we should start?"
Pursing her lips in thought, her expression eloquently conveying how little chance she believes she and her partner will have in their assignment, Nazani suggests, "Caf?"
Standing and stretching with a yawn, clearly already bored by the prospect of what he is fairly certain will ultimately amount to nothing more than going through the motions, Nemes agrees, "Caf."
Once the two detectives have poured themselves cups of stim-caf, they decide to begin their search for the unidentified assassin that assassinated the Clawdite assassin by sifting through security camera footage from streets, traffic lights, and storefronts around the site of the Clawdite's assassination in the hopes of getting an image to help narrow their search. The only images Nemes and Nazani can locate are frustratingly, if unsurprisingly, generic; the assassin smart enough to have worn a hood that conceals their facial features. Though the clothing worn by the shooter is bulky and somewhat androgynous, both Nazani and Nemes feel it reasonably certain, based on height and what can be assumed of the killer's build, that the suspect is a female. As the suspect is also of the same height and build as Helaine Orlov, Nemes and Nazani briefly entertain the idea that the Zeltron believed by many to be at the heart of the conspiracy against Andros and his twin, only to concede after learning that the surveillance on Orlov did not observe her leaving her home the previous evening, that it is highly unlikely that the Zeltron could have eluded surveillance. Recalling that a few of the mercs hired by the surviving criminal organization heads were also females of the same general height and build as Orlov, Nazani and Nemes put in the time to eliminate them as well, nothing surveillance teams on the residences the mercs were assumed to have been hired to guard having observed suggesting that any of the mercs could have been involved in the events in question.
Spaceport - Barloz-class medium freighter, The Pivane
Lifting a tree-trunk like arm to greet Neassa when she arrives, the Ithorian pilot the Vilhjalmssons have arranged to transport the Mandalorian back to Rodia as agreed upon, calls out to her in his booming stereophonic voice, "I've already completed the pre-flight checks, so we can lift off as soon as you're aboard. Though he remembers that Neassa had declined his previous offer to give her a hand with her things, Viho gestures towards her things and asks, Need a hand with anything?"
The Enchanted Florist
Looking up from the plants he is watering when a Twi'lek and a Sullustan, both garbed in such a way that the conclusion that both are Jedi is inescapable, enter the shop, Erlingur Vilhjalmsson sets the spray bottle down and, wiping his hands on the apron he wears over a light tan hued three piece suit, smiles charmingly as he walks from behind the shelf of plants to greet the Jedi in unaccented Basic that offers no clues as to where he originates from, "Good morning, and welcome to the Enchanted Florist. Tall and thin, Erlingur has an somewhat ageless appearance and demeanor, seeming to be somewhere in the range of forty to sixty, thoigh his polished manners perhaps suggest someone on the older rather than younger side of the spectrum . Closer inspection reveals some grey in Erlingur's blonde hair, and faint wrinkles around his mouth and mis-matched blue and green eyes, neither of which fact, however, diminishes the obvious vigor in his step as he walks closer to the Jedi and observes with a smile, I believe you are our very first Jedi customers, " even though it has occurred to him that the Jedi are not here as customers at all.
From a behind a nearby shelf, a large feline, resembling a dire-cat though it is not a member of that species, appears, yawning before padding lazily over to Erlingur's feet and, after appearing to examine the Jedi curiously, appears to dismiss them, padding silently away and disappearing behind a row of exotic trees.

Vinoly Archictectural - Previous Day, three hours prior to Strilath the Hutt's Murder
As oblivious to the passage of time and world around her as she often is when absorbed in her work, Elikapeka is visibly startled when Franz sets a choice of beverages before her, though she recovers quickly when reoriented to time, place and situation by her friend.
"Thank you, Elika says, predictably reaching for the caf rather than the bottled water. Can I keep you? she jokes with a grateful smile after taking a sip of the caf and closing her eyes with a contented sigh revealing how appreciated and needed the break has proved to be. Never quite content with her own work, Elika crinkles her nose with a noncommittal shrug of her shoulders after glancing at her progress on the preliminary sketches of the island home she has been contracted to design, It's a start anyway. It still needs some work. Glancing away from her work before she given in to the impulse to make two or three edits or additions that have sprung to mind as she looked at it after Franz's comment, Elika arches an eyebrow as she sees the time on the wall chrono, and asks Franz rhetorically, You really are patient, aren't you? I had no idea it was getting this late. Beginning to pack up after a few gulps of her caf, Elika apologizes, I'm really sorry, I just kind of lost track of the time. Stopping briefly to check her datapad to see if she has any messages from her roommates about what the plans for the evening, which had been left somewhat up in the air in the morning, are, Elika quickly packs up her work to continue in her home studio if the opportunity presents itself, and then after an equally rushed tidying of her office, slings her backpack purse over one shoulder and her portfolio over the other as she asks Franz, Ready to go home? Well, my home . . . or rather Crystal, Lily, and my . . . or should it be mine? Ours, she settles on with an embarrassed smile as she tugs at her sleeves, heading for the door as she adds, You know what I mean, right?"
Feeling guilty about having been so absorbed in her work that she left Franz to entertain himself, and despite the fact that she knows that she should not worry given that her friend has been tasked with acting as her bodyguard and therefore is not likely to be offended by not being entertained while he is on the job of watching over her while she does her job, Elika, oblivious to the fact she has yet to pause and afford Franz an opportunity to respond to anything she has said as of yet, continues to chatter away nervously, babbling somewhat randomly in a cheerful enough tone as they make their way outside and set out for the lakehouse. Franz smiled sheepishly at her statement before chuckling in amusement. "I suppose that is a possibility, at least until your Lieutenant gets back from her trip with her, can we qualify him as her boyfriend?" He asked dubiously in the middle of his statement. "But, you are very welcome." He told her more sincerely this time before looking back at her work, he knew that she wasn't content right there with what she had worked on, after all if memory served, according to Atlantis when Elika had presented the Academy's project to Atlantis and Mace, in a part she wasn't happy with until it was rectified, so to speak, and that was all thanks to talking with her clients. "It's already a good start, and any clients of yours are lucky to have you." He smiled and inclined his head knowingly, even if in the corner of his mind, that said client was under suspicion from Atlantis, and Mace particularly. But that was something he kept in checked for the time being for he didn't want a repeat of an argument he and Elika had previously.
"And, please never do apologize to me, work is work, and that will always come first when you are here." He sincerely told her, and with finality as they made their way outside to head back to her home that she shared with Lily, and Crystal. Although something did bug him in the pit of his stomach, he knew that there was a reason why Ares was here, and he also knew that he had to talk to his siblings, who were by the looks of it, at least from his senses, both together at the lakehouse and Ares was gone.
Hopefully it wasn't absolutely catastrophic, he was trying to get a read, but he supposed he would only know once he and Elika reached their destination...

Having kept an eye out for any signs of being followed as she had made her way to the spaceport, despite how remote Neassa deemed the possibility of her identity or role in the events of the previous evening to be, Neassa, old habits ingrained by years and years of operating while leaving as little trace of her passing behind as possible ensuring that she takes precautions even when there would appear to be no need of them, had found a spot to surreptitiously observe the landing bay where Viho was supposed to be waiting for her before openly approaching it.
Only when she could be relatively certain that the landing bay was not under watch or hiding an ambush of one kind or another, had Neassa made her way towards the ship that will be taking her to Rodia. Tossing Viho the lighter of the two duffle bags she carries, Neassa says, "Thanks, and then, as they start up the boarding ramp, asks more for something to say than out of concern that there would be an issue, My payment is aboard?"

The Enchanted Florist
Recognizing Erlingur from the documentation available on him and his sister that I had reviewed in the course of my research, I am somewhat surprised to see that he appears to have aged little, if at all in the many years he has been on Umgul; the surprise fading as I remind myself that there are many long-lived species of humanoids in the universe, and that the species of Erlingur and his sister has never been established.
Returning Erlingur's smile, I gently extend my awareness of the ebb and flow of Ashla's currents to see if I can gain a sense of what Erlingur is thinking, or if our visit causes him any unease as it would were my suspicions about him and his sister true, and say, "Good morning. Trying not to look too amused at Pakwa's comically surprised reaction to the appearance of the feline, I take my datapad from its pouch on my hip and bring up a picture of Helaine Orlov while I continue, We were hoping you might be able to help us with an investigation we are conducting, deliberately not mentioning the nature of the investigation. Holding the datapad out to Erlingur, I ask and subtly yet carefully watch Erlingur for any reaction he has to the image of Miss Orlov, Have you seen this individual before?"

"Are you sure this is wise?" Lyov asks in the private language he and Helaine developed together, sounding disinterested even to himself. Ever since the Clawdite assassin was killed, effectively ending any chance the effort to cast doubt over Atlantis and Andros Vyridian, and by extension the Mist Government and Mist Order as institutions, Lyov's sense of purpose, even his sense of self, has been uncertain, tentative. The internal shift and change, Lyov knows, was underway even before the failure of his design became undeniable. Lyov feels as though he is in flux, undergoing some internal metamorphosis that will leave him changed in ways he cannot predict.
"Oh, why yes, Helaine says in her childish and breathy voice, annoyed that her Master seems disinterested once more in the plans they made before coming to Umgul even though she acts as though she is oblivious to his obvious and infuriating detachment from the goals they once shared. It would be suspicious if I did not follow through with the meeting, Helaine goes on in their private language even though she can see that Lyov will not try and change her mind. It would be like affirming any suspicions about our involvement that might still be lingering, don't you think? Don't worry, my Master, Helaine says in a mischievously playful tone meant to annoy more than amuse, I promise I won't misbehave, as tempting as it is to see whether or not the architect's death would drive dear Andros to the Dark Side."
"Good," Lyov says, only half listening to Helaine and oblivious to her efforts to annoy him into responding with more interest, his focus instead on finding a way to simply abandon his plans, and avoid any suspicion of guilt so that he can continue to play the role of philanthropist, a role he has yet to admit to himself that he has found strangely fulfilling. It would take time, Lyov thinks, for all doubts about him to fade away, and there are those like Grandmaster Vyridian and Mace Vos that will almost certainly never trust him, but that is no reason he should not try. That he does not think beyond playing the benevolent philanthropist, and has no hidden agenda in mind for doing so, does not yet occur to Lyov.
Kissing Lyov's cheek, Helaine says, "Goodbye, my Master." As she walks out of their home and towards their airspeeder, Helaine wonders if the time has come at last to act on her belief that there is nothing more she can learn from Lyov, or to gain from allowing him to life. It has already occurred to Helaine that her dealings with the architect who is a part of the circle that she and Lyov had hoped to gain admittance to will present her with an opportunity to paint a picture of Lyov that will ensure that he, and he alone, will be blamed for the plot against the Vyridian twins, and with Lyov's present detachment and lack of purpose it difficult for her to find any reason to allow the opportunity to pass by. With Lyov out of the picture, Helaine thinks as she warms more and more to the idea of his death, she could pursue her quest for power without adhering to Lyov's frustratingly patient methods. There are other ways, faster and surer than complex long term plans such as those Lyov favors, to get what she wants. And other allies, more powerful and resolved than Lyov, that she might align with.
Once in their airspeeder, Helaine makes her way to the spaceport to meet with Hekekia so that they can visit the island where the home the architect has been hired to design is to be built. The home is of little importance to Helaine, but the chance to subtly offer Lyov up to the architect's friends in the Mist Order on a silver platter interests her very much.

Heads or Tails. Half empty. Really fast. A moment.
Neither Madieke nor Nuala can make heads or tails of the language Orlov and Entin apparently use in the privacy of their own home, making watching over the couple's home an even more dull affair than normal.
Tapping the ash from the tip of her cigarette into a half empty cup of caf that has gone cold, Madieke exhales out of the window as she sees Orlov walking from the house and entering a speeder. Feeling relieved that something more interesting than listening to the couple talking together in a language she cannot understand, Madieke reaches over to shake Nuala awake, "Orlov is on the move. I'll follow her, she hands Nuala a pair of electrobinoculars, you keep an eye on the house in case Entin does anything interesting."
Frowning as she stretches with a yawn, Nuala pouts, "Joy. Missing her swoop even more now that she will be stuck without a way to follow Entin if he does wind up going anywhere, Nuala asks sulkily, What do you want me to do if he goes anywhere? Run after him really fast?"
Flicking her cigarette out of the window as Nuala steps out of the airspeeder, Madieke suggests, "Comm Sigi if you want, have her come and help you watch the house." Watching Orlov's speeder leave the couple's palatial estate, Madieke gives it a moment before, with a wave to Nuala as the Kuati speaks into a comm, beginning to carefully tail the Zeltron to see where she is heading.

Starport — Blind Justice Docking Bay
Mazikeen, or like Samael would call her, Maze — but really only he can get away with that, was standing behind while she let everyone walk on first to disembark the spaceship. There was a very good reason why she was here, and not on Honoghr where her, technically, boss was located in — but really again, it was more complicated than that and longer to explain. Not that she was inclined to explain anything to anyone, especially the fat mouth herewith present, who supposedly could keep her mouth shut about anything and everything.
Honestly? When it came to Kassidy Payne, Mazikeen enjoyed frustrating her one way or another, and as such, at her last comment, Kassidy’s that is, Maze just walked on by with a single, “Pfff…” Nothing more, nothing less, Mazikeen didn’t even look at her and just stepped aside while some people from Umgul came to meet and greet the lawyers from Honoghr first and foremost. So the blonde one was Delaana Wan, and by simple deduction since Miss Big Mouth had said the name previously, the brunette was Lily Jankovic who did something that even made Maze smile inwardly, not that it was shown on her features since really she preferred to keep a serious face on, and she didn’t often exhibit any expressions but judging from the little exchange there, this was going to be an entertaining trip.
Adjusting the strap of her bag on her shoulder and lifting a hand briefly, she addressed Lily straight to the point. “Nothing needs to be fixed about the accommodation, I’ll be bunking in Strange’s room.” To be clear, Mazikeen wasn’t asking permission, she never really did, much like how she had just stepped out of the airspeeder a few days ago back in Honoghr and embarked on the spaceship. She did not ask, she wasn’t ordered at all, although there was a very good and valid reason why she had done all of those things thusfar.
One name; one person. That person was Samael Canaan.
Everyone from Honoghr knew about that, could see how both Samael and Stefanie were when they were together. Mazikeen knew that if something ever happened to the dark haired lawyer here, the impact it would have on Samael would be devastating. Thinking of Samael made her grab her portable datapad but then she stopped mid-action and looked at Stefanie dubiously and briefly before pocketing the datapad once again, actually letting the lawyer tell the good doctor himself that she had arrived at destination safe and sound…
With that done, Maze just followed whomever there was to follow to head to the location for the duration of their stay here.

Spaceport - Barloz-class medium freighter, The Pivane
Shouldering the bag that Neassa gives him, Viho follows her aboard the freighter, answering her question, "Of course. Lockboxes are under the bunk in the same cabin you used for the trip here, key is on the side table, the Ithorian explains, the arrangement the usual one the Vilhjalmssons have when paying the mercenaries or assassins they hire given that it avoids leaving any paper trail that could lead back to them. Dropping the bag on bed of the cabin Neassa has use of for the trip back to Rodia, Viho asks, You remember where everything is? Expecting that Neassa will keep to herself as she had during the journey to Umgul, Viho says, If you need anything, I'll be in the cockpit," and then heads forward to begin the lift-off procedures.
Moments later, The Pivane rises from its landing bay as it begins the journey to Rodia.
Spaceport - Entrance
After Franz has set his airspeeder down, Elikapeka exits the passenger side and lifts her portfolio, containing the preliminary sketches of the residence she has been contracted to design for Helaine Orlov and Lyov Entin, onto her shoulder. Smiling as she looks over at Franz, Elika tugs compulsively at her left sleeve and then her right as she asks, "Ready?" Her posture and tone both evidencing the anxiety Franz will easily recognize as typical for Elika in most social situations when the architect has yet to become comfortable with or around all of the parties involved. Having encountered Helaine and Lyov on a handful of occasions, none of which involved interacting with either at length save for the previous day's meeting with Helaine where their present business arrangement had been made, Elika is far from being entirely at ease with the couple, especially given Atlantis' enigmatic warning about them. Her social anxiety is less than it might otherwise be, however, thanks both to Franz's presence as well as to the fact that the recent accusation made against the Vyridian brothers had been definitively proven to have been foundationless by the previous evening's events; not that Elika herself had ever believed the accusations to have been anything but complete fabrications.
Alternately reaching up to clasp the pendant of Shiraya she always wears or to adjust her antique spectacles despite the fact they are in no need of adjusting as they walk towards the spaceport entrance, Elika tries to calm her nerves by composing a vioflute piece in her head, the exercise proving to be moderately successful by the time she and Franz enter the spaceport only to be immediately undone by the predictable hustling and bustling crowds coming to or going from the spaceport. As she is about to ask Franz if he sees Helaine or Lyov anywhere, Elika spots the former, lifting a hand to wave at the Zeltron as she tells Franz, "There's Miss Orlov over there, and then, trying to keep her discomfort from showing in her expression as her claustrophobia joins forces with her anxiety, begins to make her way, dodging and weaving her way through the crowds, over to where she had seen Helaine. Good morning, Miss Orlov, and then gestures towards Franz as she continues, you remember my associate, Mister Delgrave? Elika greets the Zeltron, adjusting the strap of her portfolio on her shoulder. Having expected Lyov to be present for the tour of the island where Elika has been hired to design a vacation home for the couple, Elika asks, Will Mister Entin be meeting us here, or at your ship?"
The Enchanted Florist
Accepting the datapad that the Twi'lek Jedi holds out to him, Erlingur nods after he looks at the image briefly, smiling pleasantly as he says in a calm tone that betrays no unease or apprehension, "I dare say that you would be hard pressed to find any one here on Umgul who does not recognize Miss Orlov, Master Jedi. Provided, he adds with a chuckle as he hands the datapad back to the Twi'lek, one pays any attention to the news, of course. Miss Orlov is also a client, he adds, explaining, We have provided floral arrangements for many of her and Mister Entin's benefits, and for personal home decoration as well. Pursing his lips as though it occurs to him that the Jedi would only be interested in Miss Orlov for a limited number of reasons, most of which would be unpleasant, Erlingur asks in a concerned tone, Has something happened to Miss Orlov?"
Master Roma will observe no signs of tension in Erlingur's posture or tone, nor does he display any of the usual tell-tale signs of lying, always meeting the Twi'lek's gaze, for example, and not fidgeting; if anything, Erlingur appears unflappably composed and poised, entirely at ease and with nothing to hide from the Jedi. Should Master Roma or her fellow Jedi make any efforts to telepathically search his mind, they will be unable to do so; not as though Erlingur blocks any such attempts, but rather as though, as with some species that are immune to telepathy, his mind is simply not able to be read telepathically.

The Enchanted Florist
Nodding with a smile when Erlingur correctly points out that both Helaine and Lyov would more likely than not be recognized by many of Umgul City's citizens due to their frequent appearance in the media, I shake my head when, after he, somewhat surprisingly given my theory of how he and his business might potentially be intimately involved in the case we are investing with the UPD and Sector Rangers, admits to also having done business with Lyov and Helaine personally. If Erlingur is at all concerned about two Jedi inquiring into his involvement with Helaine and Lyov, he does not show it at all, nor am I able to use the the telepathic gifts Ashla has given me to gain any sense at all of what his emotions or general thoughts are.
"Nothing has happened to Miss Orlov, I say, not explaining the reason for our inquiry in hopes of throwing Erlingur off balance, if possible. I do not suppose, I go on as I think of other ways I might provoke a telling response from Erlingur, you have kept records of your transactions with Miss Orlov? Or, I look around pointedly at the shop's interior for any signs of recording devices, maybe even footage of any meetings that took place with her or Mister Entin? Adding as though it is an afterthought to see what response Erlingur has to a question that subtly hints at why we are in his shop looking into his business dealings, I ask, I understand that your shop also did business with the late Mister Sike? What can you tell me about that business, I ask while arching the thin ridge of muscle over my left eye in such a way that suggests I know what he will reply and that I am not buying his air of innocence, or are you going to tell me that he, too, was only interested in procuring flowers from you?"

"This feels like a road trip, so yeah I am ready." Franz replied teasingly, and jokingly. Sincerely though it was more for Elika's benefit than himself. Though he could tell that she was anxious, that she was really nervous, perhaps due to the warnings that had been issued by Atlantis about Helaine, and Lyov by extension, and perhaps it was just the jitters of wanting to impress a client. As it stood though, since last night it had become apparent that the Vyridian brothers were in the clear and had been exonerated of those murders they had allegedly perpetrated.
Tentatively moving a hand up to her back for comfort, at least he was hoping she would see that as a comforting gesture from his part, he murmured reassuringly. "You'll do great, and I will be there with you every step of the way." Smiling warmly, Franz scanned the area in search of Elika's client, and his too in a way, since he was the architectural assistant of Elikapeka Hekekia for the remainder of his duty by her.
Staying in character, really he had a stylus up his ear, a notepad in his back pocket and for a moment he wondered if he should be carrying Elika's portfolio, or maybe not since that was her achievement, and it was sacred, yup better not at least not right now until it becomes a necessity. For the time being, Franz just thought of random things really, though he did do his assignment and learned about architecture when he could, at least he tried last night.
But last night was so heavy at the lakehouse, not that Ryan, and even Crystal were ready to talk about it just yet what Ares had come to tell them, but Franz knew that something very disheartening had gone down. The severity of it? He had no idea, not yet at least until they were ready to share with all of them. For the time being that event took a backseat in his gray matter as he, too, spotted Helaine, and he smiled when Elika reintroduced him. "Nice to be seeing you again, Miss Orlov." He told her with a nod of his head. Nothing from his comportment or attire currently could make him pass as a Jedi, let alone one of the Councilors of the Mist Order, right now he just seemed like a regular Joe, or just an aspiring architect, nothing more, nothing less. While Elika did the talking so far, Franz just stood there smiling and keeping his attention onto both women.

"Oh, why yes of course I remember Mister Delgrave, Helaine says in her childish and breathy voice with a warm and bemused smile when Elika and her assistant arrive. As though she is unaware of the architect's discomfort with most personal contact despite the fact she is well aware of that fact, Helaine steps close enough to embrace the timid woman, air kissing her on both cheeks without actually embracing her so as not to risk causing Elika too much discomfort. It is lovely to see you again as well, Helaine tells Franz after he has greeted her, repeating the air kissing for him as well. And, please, I absolutely must insist that you both call me Helaine. Miss Orlov sounds ever too formal, don't you agree?"
Frowning when asked about Lyov, and even summoning a bit of worry in her carefully constructed thoughts and emotions due to her habitual, well practiced habit of creating a screen of benign and banal thoughts to conceal her true thoughts and intentions, Helaine bites her lower lip as she says, "Lyov won't be joining us today. As though forcing a brave and unworried smile, intentionally failing as she wishes to appear less adept at acting than she truly is, Helaine explains, He had some upsetting news last evening, and has been a bit distracted ever since. Not wanting to make the trap she hopes to set for her Master too obvious even though it is her hope that Elika relays what she says to Atlantis or her other friends in the Mist Order, Helaine acts as though she is trying to laugh the matter off despite the fact she still sounds concerned, Some kind of business venture did not go as well as planned I think, but I'm ever so hopeful that he will get over it soon."
Should Elika or her assistant pursue the subject Helaine is prepared to add a few more tantalizing and damning details sure to interest the Mist Order if those details reach them, but as she does not want to overplay her hand, she takes a deep breath as though forcibly setting her worry aside before saying, "Our yacht is all ready by now I'm ever so sure. Our droids should have it all fueled and whatever else it is they need to do before we set off, Helaine adds as though the details are somewhat beyond her grasp. Beginning to lead the way to the docking bay where the Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 and pilot droids are waiting for them, Helaine asks, Have you both eaten breakfast yet? I can have our droids prepare something on the way to the island if you'd like?"

"Nothing has happened to Miss Orlov. I do not suppose, you have kept records of your transactions with Miss Orlov? Or, maybe even footage of any meetings that took place with her or Mister Entin? I understand that your shop also did business with the late Mister Sike? What can you tell me about that business, or are you going to tell me that he, too, was only interested in procuring flowers from you?" Erlingur, as though oblivious to the thrust of Master Roma's inquiry despite the fact it has become increasingly obvious what the Jedi is not so subtly implying, places a hand over his heart as though relieved when she says that nothing has happened to Miss Orlov. Laughing good politely, as though neither insulted nor threatened by the implications of Master Roma's last question, Erlingur lifts an arm and gestures around at the flowers and plants on display in the shop as he asks in an amused tone, "What else would anyone come here seeking, Master Jedi, if not flowers? Shaking his head, Erlingur answers in a more appropriately serious tone, a hint of innocent confusion entering his tone as he adds, I am sure that I can find records of Miss Orlov and Mister Entin's purchases if you require them, and those of Mister Sike as well. Having noted the Twi'lek's hunt for recording devices, Erlingur points to the sole camera present, placed over the register, as he says, We only keep recordings for a week before erasing them, so I am afraid I cannot provide you with any footage of the purchases in question. At any rate, Mister Sike, as well as Miss Orlov and Mister Entin, conducted their business with us primarily via our holonet site, and none of us have never met in person. As pleasantly as he has spoken thus far, Erlingur concludes with an apologetic shrug of his shoulder, I am afraid, save for providing documentation of their purchases with our store, there is nothing else I can provide you with."

Grateful for Franz's comforting words and presence, Elikapeka is set somewhat more at ease when they meet Helaine, and though she is slightly uncomfortable with the somewhat excessive familiarity that the Zeltron appears to adopt with both her and Franz, Franz's presence enables her to endure the brief invasion of her personal space when Helaine air kisses her cheeks without any increase in her anxiety level. "Helaine it is, Elika says with a smile when the Zeltron insists on being called by her given name, finding it difficult not to be disarmed by Helaine's cheerful, breezy ebullience. Nodding when Helaine reveals that Lyov will not be coming to the tour of the site where Elika has been hired to design a home for him and Helaine, Elika exchanges a brief glance with Franz when the reason for Lyov's absence is briefly explained, wondering if he finds what Helaine says, as she does, to suggest that Atlantis and the other investigators may not have been wrong to think the Epicanthix may be involved in some way with the plot against Andros. Not the best of actresses, Elika tries to sound nonchalant as she says, I . . . I'm sorry to hear that Mister Entin had a . . . bad evening, and, um, that he won't be coming with us. Debating briefly whether to delve deeper into the subject of Lyov's being upset, Elika decides to wait and see whether a more natural moment to do so might present itself during the day, and smiles as she shakes her head and says, I've already eaten, and then looks over to Franz to see how he might reply before, as she follows Helaine, saying, but don't let that stop you from having something if you haven't eaten yet. Patting her portfolio, she says, I could even show you my preliminary designs while you eat, if you'd like?"

Smiling with amusement at the air kissing from Helaine, Franz just looked at her with a sheepish grin before inclining his head to acquiesce to her wish. Though really deep down inside like he had thought, and perhaps it was an echo of what Ljiljana Jankovic had one said, it might have been a façade, but then Franz was more than willing to believe that it wasn't, though he still had his reservations. Either way, Franz kept that smile on his face, made sure that he didn't send off any distrust signals, he was just cool, calm and collected, especially when he answered. "I might have a hard time before getting that automatism, of calling you by your first name, but I can try?" Franz looked from Helaine to Elika especially when Helaine mentioned that Lyov wasn't going to come at all due to some bad news. Franz just pouted at Elika, as after all, he too didn't want to give anything away.
"Perhaps next time, then? Though are you sure that it's better to leave Mr. Entin alone?" Franz genuinely asked with concern, after all as far as Helaine was concerned, he figured she had no idea that he was Mist Order, and not Elika's assistant, he was just a concerned citizen in a way. "I am sorry if I overstepped my bounds, Ms. Or- Helaine." He corrected himself midway his statement before looking at her with another boyish grin. "After all, I am sure you know best, being with him and all." And Franz left it at that before looking back at Elika with an apologetic expression for potentially antagonizing their client, and he just hoped that Elika would just go for it one way or another, not that he had given her any directives or whatever, he'd just cover up whenever he can, and he would make statements here and there that might chide him by his superior, who in this case was Elika.
"If actually, it won't be too much of a stretch, I could have some caf? That will be great, though nothing to munch on for me, thank you very much." Staying his tongue once again, Franz gestured for both ladies to go ahead of him, considering they were all ready and prepped, and though for now he guessed he would just assist, and like he had said to Elika, he'd be there every step of the way, no matter what...
