“HOW DARE YOU USE THAT NAME!”
There was a sudden shockwave of the Darkside as Vesperia rebuked Blaze with that growling scream. With Blaze already suspended midair in her hold, Vesperia slammed her violently against the wall, as if she was nothing more than a rag doll meant as her plaything. Honestly, Vesperia expected Blaze to offer a bit more of a bite, though. When all she got was a choked-out questioning of her intentions, it was more than a little disappointing. Still, Vesperia savored her old friend’s shock at her unexpected appearance. As Blaze’s body crumbled to the street, Vesperia reined back that sudden power which was amplified by her wrath and cooly continued her approach deeper into the alley.
“Oh, why why why…?”
Vesperia repeated Blaze’s question with a feigned, dramatic pout that was seen just as easily on her face as it was heard in her words. With that final whimpered word, though, Vesperia had uncoiled the lightwhip slung upon her hip and snapped the tails behind her.
“Perhaps I should be asking you the same exact same thing, hmm? Why, Nania… Why?” Her animated speech and high-pitched inflections suddenly lowered into a purr. “Except I don’t ask stupid, pointless questions.”
Vesperia gave Blaze her final warning: the violent hum of her whip’s ignition paired with the eerie red glow that trailed lazily behind her, carving its mark into the street. Blaze came to Arkania prepared for a fight. She had managed to take out her final mark. She was a warrior, a huntress, and not without her share of weapons and experience to give Vesperia what she truly wanted here. She could choose to die as the warrior she was, or she could fall unceremoniously without putting up a fight. Although she wouldn't shy away from killing an unarmed traitor, the blood she could spill would taste just so much sweeter if Blaze at least tried to fight for her life.

It came from nowhere, the sudden surge of anger and power. In her current state, grasping for the tiniest amount of air as she clung to the edge of conciousness, she was defenseless against the sudden slam against the wall. It was the compression against her throat that all but kept and sounds of pain from escaping her lips. Yet, the feeling coursed through her body the moment her back impacted the wall. But it was in that moment that she hit that she felt Vesperia's grip on her disappear, letting her fall to the ground.
Deep, heavy breaths filled her lubgs between coughs as she worked to bring herself back to full focus as the words of her assaliant filled her ears. She couldn't figure it out. Just why was she here? And why was she being attacked?
Lifting her head, her blue-green eyes fell upon Vesperia, as she thought back. They had good friends once upon a time. They had trained together since they were little and had risen to great heights among their order side by side. But it had been over ten years since they last crossed paths, not since the day the heads of their faction tried to eliminate her.
It was then that her mind stopped, the realization setting in. Her head dropped and eyes closed after seeing the woman remove the whip from her side. Her own hand gripped the harness of her shield tighter as she forced herself to her feet. "I see. That's why. What did you expect me to do, Illya? After all my loyalty, I was betrayed by the ones I served."

Blaze’s questions fell on deaf ears, or so one could have only assumed. The moment she had used that name again, she hardly had enough time to complete that sentence. Vesperia might have let her ignited lightwhip drag behind her with every step, but she extended her free hand out towards her side and snapped her fingers. The Force seemed to resonate in answer as the trash chute behind Blaze exploded into a fiery blaze and set off a blast that very well could have knocked her off her feet if Blaze hadn’t been prepared.
“You’re worse than my students when it comes to following directions, Nania,” Vesperia reprimanded in sing-song tones.
Her golden and crimson gaze narrowed upon Blaze, but it wasn’t long before that malicious smile resurfaced upon the woman’s lips. She let out a peal of scoffing laughter at the thought of Blaze’s self-proclaimed loyalty to the order. It was such a shame that she came here to kill her. For all of the misinformation that she somehow convinced herself, it would have been vital information for carrying about the future of those experiments. Still, she didn’t come here to so crudely achieve her goal as Blaze had done with that final councilman. Playing with her food, so to speak, was not exactly beneath the dark-haired hunter.
Pouting, Vesperia made a mockery of her answer, as though Blaze should have expected nothing less, “I expected you not to be a traitor against our order, silly girl.”
Leaving her lightwhip ignited and poised behind her, Vesperia manipulated the flames behind Blaze. It was with a slight motion of her left hand that brought the fires to sweep across the street before surrounding the rose-haired woman with a crackling warning that she would become their next meal in the next few moments.
“You got what you wanted all along, Nania. You sought the destruction of the council and the ruin of our order. Congratulations!” she exclaimed with an ever-shifting bubbliness-to-sharpness in her tones. “You should be thanking me that I let you do all the dirty work on those miserable lives before I killed you. So… as my final act of mercy upon your poor soul… Any last words?”
From outside the ring of flames, Vesperia cocked her head, a light smile poised against the wicked glimmer in her eyes, as she awaited Blaze’s final answer. One she hoped would finally be action instead of more of this pathetic back-and-forth.

As the words left Blaze's lips, she felt the sudden explosion behind her as Vesperia snapped her fingers. The force of it caused the woman to step forward and drop to a knee, the shield coming up over her head. Of course, she would use that ability. Ever since they were kids, it had been a particular favorite of hers. From under the shield, Blaze gave off a sigh as her attitude began to shift, becoming more serious. It was but a passing thought, but she knew reasoning with her old friend would not be an option. It was clear she wanted a fight, one to the death.
Slowly standing to her feet, Blaze's gaze fixed itself upon Vesperia as the flames began to surround her. But there was no fear coursing through her being, no questions or doubt. The continuing tone her hunter carried began to irk Blaze now as she treated this like some sort of game. If only the roles had been reversed. Perhaps then she would understand. Whether Vesperia actually believed her to be loyal to the old order no longer mattered.
No words came when asked if she had anything to say. Instead, she allowed her eyes to close, almost as if she was surrendering to her fate. But that wasn't the case. Quickly, the Force built up within her and as she quickly opened her eyes, the Force surged from her and spread out in all directions in a decent Force Wave to send the flames pressing out away from her. It could have been seen as a challenge in that moment, claiming she was ready to fight back. Yet, that wasn't the case either. Within a second of the Force Wave, she was in the air, Force Jumping high above them and towards the wall. This allowed her to plant her feet against it and push off, using the Force to give her more distance from her pursuer. The moment she touched the ground she was running deeper through the alleyway away from Vesperia.
She had to get away, get out of the city. She could have taken the easy way out in the streets, but it put innocent people in harm's way as she knew Vesperia had no qualms in hurting others to get what she wanted. The final years of the training had shown the rise of such tendencies. So all that was left was navigating the closer alleyways as she worked her way to the edge of the city and out into the snowy terrain.

While fear would have been delicious to sense radiating from her friend-turned-traitor, the anger and frustration were far more satiating. Fear would have made the rose-haired woman reckless, and the battle which Vesperia sought was one filled with deadly precision she knew the other was capable of. No matter how much she poked and prodded for Blaze to ignite her saber and fight, however, it seemed as though she had other intentions today.
The Force Wave sent the flames fluttering out in all directions away from Blaze, and with their fearful retreat from their intended target, so did she seem to flee from the alleyway. Vesperia was left to raise her free arm in front of her face and brace herself from the force, the wind kicking up and sending her dark locks violently whipping out behind her. When those angry, glowing orbs looked back up, she found that Blaze chose the coward’s way out.
Although Vesperia had planned well for this sort of outcome, it didn’t alter her rather loud disgust to it all. With a roll of her eyes, Vesperia huffed out a dramatic, yet disappointed sigh.
“Then let the games begin!”
Vesperia bellowed out the eerie beginning to this challenge, her voice resonating not only within the air but within the Force as well. She would ensure that Blaze knew that this death game would continue, no matter her choice. It would be just like old times, tracking Blaze at the command of the council. This time, however, she would revel in the sweet victory of no longer needing to stay her whip.
With a burst of speed, Vesperia took down the alleyway after her for only a few meters before she leaped upwards, grabbing hold of the emergency escapes that climbed the side of each building. She continued to push forward and upwards until she reached the highest point -- the roofs. From her vantage point, it would be far easier not only to seek Blaze out but also to close the gap between herself and her prey. Grabbing a rat out of the maze was far more efficient when one could bypass the winding paths and sky-high walls, after all.
Pinpointing Blaze led to blocking off her path. Blaze turned another corner, which led to Vesperia pulling over a pile of crates with the Force. It wasn’t even a second before she set those off into a fiery explosion, the flames licking high enough to create a wall of fire to block of the path to backtrack. And Blaze’s other side? Vesperia leaped down from the rooftop. Her feet hadn’t even touched the ground when she whipped the strands of plasma energy to shred and burn away Blaze’s flesh, the multitude of crimson tails reaching from her shoulders down to her hip.
How much more running could the rose-haired woman do? Maybe she had so easily cornered her and could finally prod that desired fight out of Blaze. That hopeful thought thrilled her, and there was no mistake that she wore that expression with wide eyes and twisted smile as her feet hit the concrete.

Blaze made her way through the alley, not sure exactly where she was going. All she could do was trust her instincts and hope the Force would guide her. If anything, she hoped to get far enough away so to get to the rooftops so to better give herself direction. But no matter how many corners she turned or how fast she moved, she couldn't seem to shake Vesperia from her tail.
Frustration was setting in as she seemed to be getting nowhere fast. Suddenly, as she rounded a curve, the wall of fire came to life in front of her after the falling debris brought her to a stop. She didn't even need to turn around as she felt Vesperia drop-down behind her. She seemed to be trapped like a mouse in a trap, but that wasn't the case. Her opponent may have realized it was only a minor inconvenience for people like them as it wasn't long before she heard the sound of a lightsaber come to life. Immediately turning, Blaze came to realize it wasn't a lightsaber but a light whip. It had been a weapon the woman had learned to use in their early years, though instead of a single strand, it carried nine.
As Vesperia brought the whip around, Blaze pulled her shield close before lashing out with it, giving off a slight Force Push with it in order to keep from getting to her. She didn't want to allow a fight to break out here. While the tighter quarters would have hindered the Sith and their swings of her whip, but Blaze's own larger sword would not function well either. Pushing back against the whips, Blaze turned and ran back towards the flames. Leaping forward, her shield came up to protect her. However, jumping through the flames wasn't all she did. It was a skill she had come to learn in recent years, giving more substance to her name. Yet, she needed to keep it as quiet as possible for the moment as she didn't want Vesperia to realize she had a counter her flames. As she leaped, she used Pyrokinesis to create the smallest of holes hidden in front of the shield. It wasn't large enough to completely keep her from feeling the flames, but enough that she wouldn't receive real harm.
As she passed through, the flames returned to normal. Rolling across the ground, she brushed off the fire that had formed on her clothes before taking off again.

Vesperia had hoped to coax a fight out of this flighty one sooner or later, but it seemed that it would be later rather than sooner. Nonetheless, she tried to wrap those fiery tendrils around their prey with the Force as they came lashing down on Blaze’s shield. The other woman pushed back, forcing the crimson strands back. It was uncertain whether the dark-haired Sith was having fun or frustrated, as a disgusted snarl cut through the air as she commanded the plasma tails back.
Small space or not, Vesperia was prepared to fight in the alleyway. Something that Blaze clearly was not. Before she could mount another offensive strike, Blaze had turned and bolted towards her portal to hell, except she somehow managed to break through unscathed.
“Oh, no, you don’t…” Vesperia sang with eerie, lighthearted delight.
As quickly as Blaze had fled, Vesperia disengaged her whip, which resolved with shrieking hiss, and took off after her. Now, she refused the rose-haired woman a chance to put any distance between them. As her figure broke through the flames, they fled from their Master who brought them to life. Swirling around her blackened leather frame, they diminished to nothing more than black smoke that dissipated into the thin, frigid air of Novania.
Blaze was ever-present on her radar, only falling out of her line of sight as she recklessly turned corner to corner. However, no matter how well she tried to shake the Sith on her tail, Vesperia was no more than a few meters behind. They turned another corner, and some meters forward, a man lazily leaned against the wall as he tried to enjoy a smoke break. Vesperia huffed a laugh, and with a little twisting of the Force, he just so happened to quit his break to come stumbling into Blaze’s path, knocking her off-kilter for even just that breath of a moment where Vesperia could get her hands on her.
And that was exactly what she did.
Kicking the man aside, Vesperia grabbed hold of Blaze’s hair with one hand to hold her steady for a beat, only for her other to find her throat. Vesperia slammed the woman against the wall with so much force, it was as though she wanted to hear that same skull-crunching sound that Blaze would do doubt hear echoing in her ears. And to keep Blaze from turning to that prized shield of hers as she had time and time before, Vesperia slipped her hand down her arm until she found her wrist, pinning it against the building’s icy surface.
“Now now now,” Vesperia reprimanded with a quiet purr, pressing her body more fervently against her prey’s. “You can keep on running all you want, Nania, but eventually you’re going to give me. Exactly. What. I. Want.”
With how close Vesperia had pushed herself, Blaze would feel the warmth of her breath against her lips. What more, she would better see the crazed calculative look in her old friend’s fiery eyes. That is, if she could press past the ever-tightening grip Vesperia kept around that delicated little throat of hers. It was only for a moment, before Vesperia's temperament again shifted without warning, and with an ear-shattering scream, she tossing Blaze off to the side. As if to allow her another ‘escape’.
Run and run and run. Like a rat in a wheel. If Blaze was going to allow herself to be killed so easily without offering up a fight, at the very least, Vesperia would savor the few moments she had left with her dearest Nania and have a little bit of the fun she craved. For old times sake.

It came so unexpectedly, the man walking into her path. In her attempt to get away, she had been so focused on running, on working to maintain her distance as she went that she didn't notice the man taking his break. Whether it was timing or Vesperia using her powers to manipulate the mind that caused him to walk out in front of her at that exact moment was unknown. But it had effectively slowed her down as she ran into him. Even as she tried to navigate herself to her left to avoid him, it only worked to further halt her escape as the impact forced her into the wall, bringing her to almost a complete stop.
Scrambling forward, she pushed off the wall as she attempted to resume her path, only to feel the grip and tug on her hair, the pull that sent her over into the other wall. As she turned to face the Sith as she went, the pull of her hair ended only to become a slamming grip to her throat that sent her crashing into the building wall. Her head slammed into it as she hit, causing her eyes to close as her ears began to ring and her focus got distorted. It took all she had to pull herself back, her eyes opening at the feeling of the breath against her lips. Their gazes and met for a moment as Blaze worked to break herself free. But before she could summon her strength to fight back, Vesperia tossed her to the side like a rag doll. She coughed hard as she slowly regained her breath and worked to get herself to her feet. The woman was clearly taking a sadistic joy in this, which would work to Blaze's advantage. Getting herself to her feet, she began to run once more.
The screams and laughs that emanated from her old friend made Blaze's mind race. This hadn't been who Illya was, at least for the most of her life. It wasn't until that one day that this new person, Vesperia, took hold and everything changed.
The running continued as she heard the murmur of a thousand voices. Her turns had only led her to a location she hadn't wanted, straight into the streets. Just as she turned the corner and saw everyone walking about, Vesperia took another swipe at Blaze with her whip along with a wave of the Force. She hadn't been able to lose the Sith this time around, as Vesperia kept right on her heels, her breath down the rose-haired woman's neck. The attack hadn't meant to be serious, just another toying message that she was there, just another feature that was key to the personality that existed within her old friend.
The wave of energy sent Blaze flying forward in a twist, ploying into a few people and further into the street. Speeders came to a halt and crashed into each other and the buildings. Innocents had gotten caught up in their chase, gotten hurt, yet Blaze couldn't concern herself with them. She had to keep running. Getting to her feet, she took off again, heading into another alley, though Force Jumping up the fire escapes until getting near the top floors as Vesperia gave chase. Blaze then busted through a door and into a room and pressed out into the hallway. With the aid of the Force, she increased the pace of her steps as she went until she saw a window at the end. Picking up her pace, she brought her shield up in front of her as she leaped through the window, shattering it as she crossed the small alley below and onto the top of the smaller building next to it. Rolling as she touched down, she resumed her run, the chase now taking to the roofs. She could now get a better view of her surroundings and was able to direct herself to the closest exit to the city.

Run… and run… and run. It seemed like the only thing that Blaze was capable of doing. Even with a warning as to what she could never escape, the poor woman continued to pathetically try. Pitiful, Vesperia thought with a slight pout, as the rose-haired woman scrambled back to her feet and bolted away. However, the chase continued. Now at the very least, Vesperia could say that Blaze gave her a run for her credits, even if the literal meaning would be lost. At least she could walk away with more sense of amusement to the whole encounter than she had landed here believing.
With her pout turning to a deadly smirk, Vesperia took off, staying on Blaze’s heels as she pushed through the crowd. An interesting decision, although whether it was purposefully or not could prove to be Blaze’s demise. Innocent lives didn’t matter to the Sith. All like little bugs scrambling about their daily lives, ignorant to what it was like to have true power and purpose. With a crack of her whip in attempts to at last mar Blaze’s pretty skin, Vesperia made her apathy to the crowd more than known. It was a wise albeit disappointing decision to take the chase back into the alleys, but Versperia’s determination to catch her prey was unwavering. As Blaze climbed the emergency escapes, Vesperia attempted to slow her down, the metal crying out as she ripped it from the wall with the Force. The rose-colored flash into the building signaled a satisfied smirk from the dark-haired woman as she continued pursuit with a Force Jump into the opening in the wall that Blaze had so kindly left her.
In the alley, into the crowd, back into the alley. Into the building, out of the building. While it was a woman’s prerogative to change her mind without a moment’s notice, Blaze’s inability to choose where to keep this chase was getting old. With a huff and a roll of her eyes as she watched Blaze break through the window, Vesperia picked up her pace, the rhythm of her footfalls growing louder, faster. It wasn’t long before, she, too, followed suit, leaping gracefully head-first through the hole in the window which Blaze had left. However, Vesperia resonated with the Force all around her, sending a violent ripple to shatter the remainder of the window and its surrounding brethren. Shimmering pieces rang out as a thousand little chimes within the crisp, wintry air as they fell like a waterfall and clattered across the rooftop.
Without losing her composure, Vesperia rolled as she hit the roof, tumbling elegantly back to her feet without losing poise or momentum. As she rose up, so did two larger glass shards at her command that were left in Blaze’s wake. Before Vesperia even hit another foot to the roof, she thrust her hand forward, sending them both screaming precariously close to Blaze’s face. However, she was not their mark. Instead, the twin glass arrows fell into the streets, striking one poor soul through the skull and another piercing through his chest. Alive one minute, and gone the next, none the wiser to their ill-fortune and fate.
Run, run, as fast as you can. The more that you run, the more that are DEAD…!
Vesperia’s voice resonated in Blaze’s head like a crescendo of sadistic delight, the final, ominous word tearing through the Force like a knife through flesh. Audibly, the concerned murmurs and inconvenienced shouts of the past had quickly turned to fearful cries, while panic filled the streets of Novania as clear as the crimson rivers that flowed from the bodies. The cacophony of screams was like a melodious choir, and Vesperia drank in their fear as though it was the wine of life.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you, little Nania…
This silly game of chase could continue on the rooftops, through the streets, into the buildings -- it didn’t matter. Vesperia would make a lesson out of any and all who she could until she could finally trap and force Blaze into giving her what she wanted -- the fight to end all fights, to finally put this traitor in Chaos where she belonged. Until then, the chase would continue, with Vesperia hot on Blaze’s heels the whole way.

Blaze refused to look back, not letting anything deter her from getting out of the city and into the open terrain. Looking back just slowed her down. And in the end, it didn't matter. She heard the glass continuing to shatter further as she expected Vesperia lept through in some dramatic flare as was her style. She even heard the heavy thud of when she landed. She had to keep going. Even as she heard the sharp whistle of something sharp flying at her. She ducked down as she felt the incoming projectiles through the Force and watched from the outer edges of her eyes as the shards of glass shot past her. For a moment, she felt the woman was starting to get sloppy with her rage.
But she was wrong.
Not a moment or so after they flew past her, they shot downward at the other end of the roof. The screams and cries of panic soon filled her ears as Vesperia's little rhyme resonated within her head. For that split moment, her pace lessened and her movements dragged as the guilt began to flow through her. She had been a Sith once, but since the events that led her here, she no longer had the care to take lives aside from those of the Sith. They were the monsters that needed to be slain for the sake of the sheep. And for all her attempts to get away and separate herself from the innocent in the city, she had failed. If anything, her chase only solidified the injuries and deaths that came. Their deaths were on her hands.
Anger, hatred, guilt, all these emotions began to course through her as her pace slowed more and more. The surging power of the Dark-side began to resonated like a gong that had been hit. Her power began to echo around her and off the buildings, no doubt easily detectable to her pursuer. If her running was the cause of these deaths, then perhaps it was time to stop and face her old friend and bring things to their final end. She could turn now and unleash the power that was building up, a power that hadn't truly been stirred for some time. Maybe now was the time.
Suddenly, her pace suddenly picked up, the building power being channeled into her muscles as they sped up her movements as she pushed forward and lept over the street to the next building. No, she had to keep going. She couldn't let the fight break out here. Only more lives would be lost. If anything, she had to lengthen the distance from Vesperia to the point that the woman would have to focus her attention on catching up and not toying with Blaze's mind with killing others.
And the time finally came.
A larger street extended out in front of them, longer than she could jump. If she wanted to cross, she'd have to drop down into the street once more. But another path opened to her. To her left, she saw a wire that crossed over the street. Perhaps for providing electricity. No matter what it was, it was her ticket. Diverting her path, she headed for it, the Forcer increasing her pace as she lept up to the building nearby and ran up it for a moment to get high enough, then lept out over the street in line with the wire. Bringing her shield down under her feet, she used the Force to keep her steady and to allow the shield to slide across it, getting her to the other side quickly.
Confident she gained ground, she lept of the wire and took off across the roofs again as she brought her comlink to her head, contacting the pilot droid that came with her ship. Get airborne and head out to the west most exit of the city. I will be waiting for you there. With the message sent, she picked up her pace as she sought to get out of the city.

Renegade Industries Headquarters. The big three of Renegade Industries, Lionel, Thomas and Isabelle were sitting in the board room with a new partner. This partner owned a genetics company that was stationed on Onderon. Lionel bought out the company and was now introducing their new partner into the fold. The new partner was non other than Derren Mason. With Derren's genetics company now controlled by Renegade Industries, Lionel could began bio-engineering a new breed of soldier. Not a typical clone trooper or training soldiers from the time they were children, by a soldier whose only purpose was to wage war. A true Warrior species, and Derren's new genetics lab within the Headquarters of Renegade Industries was just about finished and this would allow Derren's team of genetic scientists to began on their new project, dubbed Project: Krogan.

Oh, sweet Chaos… The thought fluttered through Vesperia’s mind as a predatory smile curled at her lips. With the death of only two minor souls, Blaze’s pace slowed while the shockwave of Darkside energy within her was reaching its climax. Is that really all it took? Blaze had freed enough souls from their bodies throughout her life. Was the time away from their old cult truly enough to soften and weaken her? Vesperia huffed out a triumphant laugh as she brought life to her light whip once again. She pushed herself that much faster to close the gap, which was an easy feat with Blaze’s apparent defeat. The crimson tails came flying for their target, but like the game Blaze continued to play, the moment they snapped at their mark, she was gone with a sudden burst of speed, leaping from one building to the next. Vesperia’s smile was wiped from her face as a snarl took hold of her expression. As she whipped the tails back, the red light receded with another hiss, which melded with Vesperia’s frustrated sounds that rumbled in her throat and whistled through gritted teeth.Apparently, little Nania still didn’t believe her. A shame. Something she would gladly rectify.Blaze thought herself clever as she led Vesperia to a gap that couldn’t be crossed, even through means of the Force. That damned shield. However, Vesperia didn’t stop her pace as she leaped off the side of the roof, her eyes watching Blaze’s grow smaller as she skated down the line from one roof to the next. If Blaze’s only concern was saving herself, though, it would prove to be her demise, especially if she truly cared for all these small and innocent lives.Vesperia continued pursuit from below, however now putting to rest her precious whip and igniting a new source of fire. A similar fury of red, but a true sword she could use to carve her way through the streets. Anyone who ventured too close to the pursuing Sith wouldn’t live to see another minute of their boring, pointless lives. Snuffed out so quickly. One, by one, by one. Vesperia wouldn’t bother taunting little Nania again, not when death permeated through the Force with a greater sense than any words. Blaze left her with few other ways to follow, after all. Although a true follower of the dark side, Vesperia also remained true to such promises as these. As Blaze’s path led Vesperia to the outskirts of the city, her figure on the rooftops became less important over the signature she put out. Blaze was attempting her escape, and although she eluded Vesperia with that little trick, the chase was far from over. The crowds may have scattered and grown more scarce as Vesperia approached Novania’s outskirts, there was still one who lingered. An effortless swipe just above their shoulders granted her an ominous trophy she would carry with her into the frigid terrain, where the dripping blood would turn to dangling crimson crystals. If only she had given Vesperia the fight she demanded, all these innocent lives could have been saved. A point she would, quite literally, toss at Blaze’s feet when she finally found the coward and forced their blades to finally lock.

As Blaze went, she could feel the presence of Vesperia growing more distant with every step. It seemed the relentless hunter had given up the chase. But Blaze knew better than that. Her old friend was not the type to let her prey get away. She knew the woman had become aware of the distance that had been gained couldn't be made up this time. She was also certain that with her direction, the Sith would figure out that she would get the fight she desired, just not here or now.
And it became abundantly clear how much it infuriated Vesperia.
Death radiated within the Force. It was a message, one that rang all too clearly. The darkness within her stirred all the more as she ran, not letting herself stop for anything. She had to keep going for now. But soon, the chase would end as Blaze reached the edges of the city.

There was cause for a small celebration that erupted within the city of Novania. Recently, several members of the Arkanian species had done well with their examinations and earned themselves places within the junior officers of the Imperial Army and Navy. A few were even made aides to Moffs within various sectors of the Empire. A handful managed to even gain the rank of Colonel and Captain for extraordinary grades! Several of these Arkanians had lived in Novania and thus the people cheered and celebrated! The Empire had proven its word time again that one must apply themselves and the doors would open. Their scientists were treasured for their work and thus a number had joined the Imperial Military Research department, but to have members become elevated to ranks within the military itself was caused for celebration. Perhaps, one day, one of these talented natives would become a Moff of Arkania and become a proud symbol of their people.

Dr. Aladeen arrived from the Humanitarian fleet. He was happy to have a break from the ships. Unlike many of the other doctors, he was not military trained. He was a civilian that was looking to help people. This meant he didn't fully mesh with most others around him. Needing some space was why he volunteered to talk with some of the cloners here. They could go a lot of good work in replacement medicine.

Dr. Aladeen was learning from the cloners. There were many ideas they gave him of how to use organic replacements. He was making a good impression. He was even asked to lecture at the universities and the the facilities. He made friends, and, without meaning too, recruited a few into serving a residency in the fleet.

The Dr.'s lectures on mental health following traumatic events drew in larger crowds than he expected. The value of mental health didn't seem to fully line up with what he thought was a prevailing worldview here. It occurred to him that the interest was more than likely because he was different, not that he was interesting.
