Using his suits computer system to tap into the local information network, he locates the park that will host the event.
Accidents take plenty of groundwork and preparation, for something last minute like this I'd say the best bet would be a clear line of sight and a powerful rifle. If the timetable works for you, we could wait for the end of the fundraiser and slot the commander right before the event winds down. Parks are nice for bucolic recreation but not so great for traffic logistics. Even on a calm day, they create a snarl of traffic and tie up resources when they let out, we can use scrambling attendees to distract some of the local security forces while we hit the primary objectives. It could still potentially alert them that the invasion is coming.

Pellaeon considers the man's words carefully, they were valid points, and it worked well enough for him. He did feel the need to point something out though, and did so.
"Fair points, see to it as you will. And since it worries you so, these people will know of their fate before the fleets arrive. This will not be the first world subjugated, and it is impossible to prevent news of such magnitude from spreading. I do not worry that they will learn, that cannot be avoided. My purpose is to prevent the people from mounting an effective defense of this world. Does that help you plan better? "
As if to illistrate his point, Aurel's comm-link chirped in two sets of three rising notes. He cursed, they were early, still, he had his orders. That signal ment the fleet had arrived in system, it would be on the news soon. The element of surprise was gone, it was time to move.
"They're here, I need that gun down tonight. You have my commlink if you need anything else. Sorry to leave so suddenly, but I've got things I need to set in order."
Aurel sent a message to his slicer, He had a program that needed to be activated. It would interfere with they systems' sensor network, preventing them from verifying the presence and size of the FO fleet. He also needed to get the distractions he'd organized put into motion. There was a small riot near the installation, that should tie up local security forces and keep things from getting to hot at either installation. The Mortars needed to be set up, to provide covering fire for the operatives. And he needed to pack his few things, and get everything loaded and ready to go on his shuttle. Aurel paid his bill and left quickly.

Aboard their doomed shuttle sitting in Cormond's spaceport, Kaine and his men had been busy. They had the location of Carid and his men. A few slices into the local planetary datanet gave them the location of the local military facilities, and a discreet enquiry or two into the local power company's network gave them locations for the shield generator and planetary turbolaser.
The generator wasn't far from the spaceport, while the turbo was closer to Carid's location. That gave Kaine his plan, and he commed Carid via text so as not to leave a record of his voice where it could be intercepted and decrypted later. :Carid. Locations suggest you handle the turbo, we'll deal with the shield. We'll need a lift afterwards if you don't mind a few extra passengers. Ready to go when you are.: He kept the message short and sweet. Professional. They were on-mission now, all they needed was the go.
Kaine addressed his men and the 4 YVH droids, now online and standing ready at the shuttle's ramp. Ready to go, lads?

Carid's message popped up on the bottom of his HUD. The system's algorithms already charted the fastest route and gave him a heading. Hotel seemed nice; scruffy looking exterior but decent service. No questions, direct answers. Whatever the job was, he honestly hoped this hotel wasn't razed. Might come back if the food was good. He opened one of the rooms, swept it over with his eyes and sensors. After the first sweep, he took off his helmet and did a second with his nose and ears. Some species had his level of hearing and scent; most didn't and often left traces of their smelly appendages all over their squeaking bugs. Both sweeps came up empty. Good. Carid knew what he was doing then. Time to wait, and prepare. A'den shucked his pack and opened it up, pulling out his hardware to clean it.

Kebiin quickly departs as well, the sightseeing was done and it was time to get to work. He felt his pulse accelerate slightly as he began to anticipate the coming action, it felt like the beginning of a hunt. Deciding against walking, he ducks down a blind alley and borrows an unmanned delivery speeder. By the time anyone noticed it missing he would have more pressing concerns than a theft charge, while en route to the hotel he sends a quick message in the affirmative to Kaine and notifies him to standby for the go signal. Wasting little time in the lobby of the hotel, he moves quickly to his rented accommodations looking for Skirata.
Su'cuy, ner vod. Ready to move? We've had a change of schedule and we are hitting the target sooner rather than later.

"Su'cuy." Carid seemed rushed. So much information all at once. And yet, not enough. A'den started loading up as he spoke. Dets and flashbangs were always good for most any job.
"What is target?"

While he brings Skirata up to speed, Kebiin begins gathering his gear and preparing for the job. Extra ammo and detonators were a must, plus a few specialty explosive charges.
Short version? We've got an assault fleet in deep orbit waiting for us to eliminate a planetary turbolaser, KDY W-165 by the look of it, so they can roll in to bring their particular brand of stability and order. Grab your gear, I've got a delivery speeder to take us back to my ship for final prep.

So. Large, easy prey. Would be a good day's work. Probably decent pay too, if the client wanted to "bring their particular brand of stability and order. A'den immediately started packing up everything he'd pulled out of the bag. It was short work. "Ready."

The feeorin doesn't waste time, the second team was waiting as well. He leads the large feline out of the hotel and to the stolen speeder, once they are all loaded up he quickly pilots them back to the spaceport, briefing Skirata further en route. Arriving at the pad housing his frighter, he ushers his associate onboard and reactivates the original droid driver of his borrowed speeder and gives the droid an updated delivery destination. Watching the speeder move off, Kebiin joins the Togorian onboard and preps the ship for takeoff. Once the engines are fired, he pilots the ship away from the starport and towards the target installation, deactivating his transponder as he goes. Landing the ship in a clear area outside of the security fence he awaits the message from his reprogrammed droid saying it has reached its destination. He leads his comrade down the ramp to the fence separating them from the compound.
Once we go, we go in fast and hard. They are going to know we are here, we are both hard to ignore. Our goal is the targeting adjustment gears, we stick some borebangs into the machinery and blow them remotely. Gun won't be able to adjust to target the fleet, and will be as good as disabled.
His attention is drawn back to his comms system as the delivery confirmation finally arrives. This was it, time to get to work. Broadcasting a message of his own, he activates the miniature seismic-charge concealed in the back of the cargospeeder and looks as the horizon suddenly brightens with the blue glow of a seismic explosion. While a much smaller device than standard charges of its type, it would be more than sufficient to reduce the front entrance and and vehicle parking area of the local garrison to simple gravel. That should keep the locals distracted. Kebiin opens his internal communications system to Skirata and the Australis soldiers.
Thats our signal. Go, go, go! Oya, Mando'ade!
Aiming his imperial heavy repeater at the fence, he launches a concussive round to breech the barricade and motions for Skirata to join him in the beginning of the assault.

Kebiin opens his internal communications system to Skirata and the Australis soldiers.Thats our signal. Go, go, go! Oya, Mando'ade! Kaine heard the signal from Carid. Time to boogie. He flicked over to the Australis' frequency. They were using standard mando encrypts, not the usual Australis stuff. Mission is a go.The shuttle's ramp dropped, and the four Mandalorians ran down it and out of the spaceport, the 4 YVH droids keeping pace behind them. Strategic surprise had been achieved, or so they hoped. Now the plan was to hit the target hard and fast, and get out before anyone could raise the alarm. The group of eight quickly closed the distance through Cormond between the space port and the Shield Generator, getting some strange looks from the civilians, but mercifully didn't encounter any police or militia enroute to the building.
On arrival there was an immediate problem confronting them. It was shift change, there seemed to be twice as many guards on duty as necessary. Kaine cursed, but it couldn't be helped. They'd have to try to wound instead of kill, there was no need to butcher these men. There was little honour in beating local militia forces.Get those cameras up and mark targets. We'll go verps only, no blasters or grenades. Clean wounds if you can. Move in ten seconds. One of the Mando'ade produced a pair of black thermal detonator sized balls, which he threw into the air. They rose on their repulsors and shot out above the Shield complex, able to spot the guards and mark their locations for the Mandalorians and YVH droids. This took less than ten seconds. The spydroids continued to circle in case needed, looking for targets entering the area as Kaine and his commando force moved in, weapons up.... What followed was brutal. Most of the militiamen were shot having never seen a target, the projectiles of the verpine weapons arriving well before the small report of the weapon's discharge. The pellets were small but fast, leaving no shrapnel to complicate medical attention. Firing in bursts they could cut a man in half. On semi-automatic, they just hit a man hard enough to put him down, and put him in pain, but unless something vital was hit, he'd survive.
Kaine and his Mandalorians spent several seconds rigging small explosive charges to the power cables, the feeds that led from the city's grid to the main generator, and blasting every computer in sight with hypervelocity slugs, wrecking the displays and the controls. No one would be powering the shield from the local grid or turning it back on any time soon. The men were just exfiltrating the building when things went to osik...A platoon of local troops had arrived and dismounted, and a pair of E-web blasters in the bed were pouring fire into the four YVH droids, no, three, one went down, its armor overwhelmed by the heavy fire. Kaine and his men returned fire, hitting one of the E-web gunners, but he was quickly replaced, and its fire resumed. We didn't invite these assholes. Fine then. He pulled a small hand control from his belt. Surprise! Some distance away, a huge explosion rocked the city. A column of black smoke rose from the spaceport as the shuttle Kaine and his force had arrived in detonated with enough explosives to wreck the entire berth and start some fires. Behind Kaine and his men, smaller booms announced the wrecking of the city shield generator's power cabling.Kaine knew there was no way they were all getting away without massive casualties to the locals, and probably his team unless he changed things up. Time for a sacrifice play.YVH team. Berserk mode. Lads, let's go. Kaine and the three Mando'ade with him sprinted off on an angle away from the militia, making good their escape. They were well covered.
The three YVH droids stopped their covering fire, opened up with everything they had on the militia, grenades, blaster cannons, the works, and charged directly at the enemy, screaming at a painfully loud volume! Each droid was set to explode when they'd closed with enough enemies, or suffered significant damage. One by one, three earsplitting booms rocked the city of Cormond, as the sounds of blasterfire died away behind the retreating Kaine and his Australis scallywags. It was time to leave this planet for a little while, Kaine decided. They'd done enough Mando cultural enrichment for one day.Kaine commed Carid. A ride would be nice, ner vod. I think we've worn out our welcome.

By the time Carid had gestured, A'den had already shouldered his rifle and swept the area beyond the breach. He let Carid take point, switching most of his sensors to watch their six as they methodically cleared a path to the gun. Any resistance he met with a trigger pull. If a door needed hacking, he let Carid do it. But clearing a room? That he could and did do. Flashbang from behind cover, turn, and shoot. Clean shots. Double tap. Didn't need holes in the back of his beskar'gam. This was good hunting.
Tion'chaaj bah'lenedat? he asked. Gebi, nayc?
Technology was not his strong suit and he knew it. He had absolutely no idea how to tell how close they were to their objective.

Kebiin moves forward holding his repeater at the ready, but being careful not to fall into riding the sights.
Ehn'olan enaabe be tenn vhetin.
Kebiin motions to stay low and advance quickly. He was counting on the local troops to have focused on the much larger explosion at the entrance on the far side of the military compound, with any luck at all they wouldn't experience much resistance until they were right near the base of the gun. The same gun that loomed large ahead.
Sure enough, aside from movement in the distance, there was no sign of the base personal until the pair had cleared the open field and reached the first few buildings of the facility. Rounding the corner of what was likely to be a supply shed guessing by its size, Kebiin spots a a repulsortruck of troops moving between them and the gun. His first instinct is to go prone and hope they move by without noticing, however when the truck stops and begins to shine a spotlight in his direction it becomes clear that is not an option. Dropping to one knee he launches another concussive round from his repeater at the vehicle watching it impact the transport with another satisfying blast. Knowing that it was all too easy to lose momentum on an attack like this, he immmediately begins moving forward towards the burning vehicle again with his weapon ready in case there were any surviving passengers. Moving to the rear of the speeder, he rounds the corner quickly to clear the passenger area. By all appearances the speeder had not been armored and his grenade round had done the trick, it didn't appear there were any hostile forces left in the immediate area.
Motioning for Skirata that it was clear to begin advancing on the gun again, he turns to cover his advance.

He saw the truck and spotlight about the same time Carid did. As the Feeorin launched a concussive round and charged the vehicle, A'den dropped to a knee and provided covering fire. Ret'lini: Just in case. As soon as Carid cleared the speeder, A'den ran the rest of the way to the gun. He took cover on one side of the door and pounded an armored fist into the locking mechanism to open it. As the door slid open, he rolled a thermal det into the room beyond. The explosion rattled the walls and A'den breached the room, sweeping for hostiles. A survivor moaned on the floor, his legs missing. One shot took care of his pain. He let Carid take point again, since the Feeorin knew where to go.
The breach had alerted personnel inside to their presence. Most had been called off to deal with Carid's distraction. Probably ran off a skeleton crew with how safe this planet looked. Nothing that couldn't be handled. The only close call came when a soldier ambushed him from a corner he hadn't expected just after Carid had passed. The vibroblade slid across his breastplate harmlessly. A'den headbutted the offender and then smashed the windpipe with the butt of his rifle. Breathing would be difficult if possible at all. A couple shots and corpses later, they entered a large room filled with loud machinery. A'den couldn't make heads or tails of it. But this was probably something important to the gun.
A'den snorted. So many vital things in one location. Ori tracy'uur, laandur aranov. Charges?

Once the pair reached the central machinery room for the turbolaser, Kebiin slung his rifle and began pulling the modified bore bangs from his pack. The explosives were traditionally used on terrain, but they had been hardened to chew through constructed materials like the walls and floors of this structure.
Hu'kaat'kama.
Moving quickly around the central gears that allow the weapon to be aimed, Kebiin begins attaching bore bangs into the structural attachment points and watching them chew into the surface. After several minutes, and a few close calls with security patrols, just shy of a dozen locations had been prepped to blow. When these charges went the laser should come completely loose of its aiming tracks, useless against the imminent assault but easily repaired post-conquest. Confirming that all charges were registering as armed and ready to detonate on his controller, he motions to Skirata that it was a good time to leave.
Ba'slanar ca'nara, ner vod. Norac at me'sen.
Taking his repeater back in hand, he takes point for the rapid exit and uses his suit computer to sent a remote start up signal to his ship. There was definitely more resistance on the way out than they met on the way in, but a rapidfire slugthrower proved to be an effective, if graphic, solution to most hostile security forces.

::Hukaat'kama.::
That he could do. He wouldn't tell Carid this but tech of any sort made him uneasy. Frags, flashbangs, and dets were fine: push button, get explosion. Guns were the same. But timers? Explosives that could tear through armor, kill his own tech? A'den growled low in his throat. That was tricky business and best left to females or other species. More soldiers in the halls than before. Carid's distraction must be done. Any curious or bold enough to approach said hello to his blaster. It liked to talk a lot today.
::Ba'slanar ca'nara, ner vod. Norac at me'sen.::
Finally. A'den followed Carid, helping clear the path ahead when needed and putting down the ones that tried following. Most had the good sense to use range. Some did not but learned before they died. A'den kept his ears trained for the sound of the field, getting more and more anxious. Seemed like it was taking longer than expected. He hated exfils. He'd seen people make stupid mistakes and died because they relaxed during exfils. He whipped out his pistol as a new squad rolled up to his right. One trigger pull, two, three, four. His armor sang where it deflected bolts from panicked shots. But finally, finally, they were out of the facility and charging across the field and through the base towards the fence. A'den wouldn't let himself relax until he put boots on the ramp of Carid's ship.

If his repeater did one thing well, it was suppressing fire. Between the spray of slugs, and occasional blast of a concussion grenade, Kebiin was fairly successful in keeping the defenders from aiming too carefully. Overall, his armor only had carbon scoring on a few places. As they neared his ship, Kebiin decided it was time to further distract the enemy. With a quick press of a detonator, the bore bangs activate and separate the gun from its rotational mount causing it to droop in its housing. At the exterior of the ship at last, Kebiin motions for Skirata to board ahead of him. Noting the explosions coming from the direction of the shield generator, he assumes the second strike team is nearly finished as well. This is only confirmed when he receives the request for extraction.
Just finished up here as well, will be at your location shortly, stand by.
He quickly switches his comm system over to the imperial frequency, using his ship as a repeater.
This is Carid, all targets are neutralized. Beginning exfil now.
Tucking the detonator back in his belt and turning to board his ship, Kebiin swears and goes down for a moment when a lucky pistol blast connects with the back of his thigh. After a few moments of swearing, he climbs back to his feet and scrambles up the ramp to the cockpit. Quickly applying a chemical bandage, he climbs into the pilots seat and guns the engines towards the second team. Keeping low and near the terrain to avoid any AA, he finally arrives at their last known location and spots them behind cover. Bringing the ship down between the armored figures and their attackers, Kebiin activates his ground buzzer to lay down covering fire.
All aboard, ner vode.

That had happened faster than Pellaeon had hoped it would, good. Time to get out of port then. Of course, by now, he and his few followers were back aboard his shuttle, which was in the middle of warming up. He relayed the information to the fleet waiting in system, and told his pilot to get moving asap, if he didn't want to get slagged in friendly fire. The shuttle lifted off moments later, and blasted over the space port, being careful to stay low, and when necessary firing warning shots past the security skimmers that decided the shuttle wasn't worth their time. Pellaeon's biggest concern was ground based fighters, any fighters scrambled would be right on their tails as they broke for orbit. He was glad that he'd thought to have a rear facing partial turret installed to help cover their withdrawal. They'd probably need it. The mortars hadn't been used after all, things had just been shoved to far ahead of schedule. oh well, with any luck, they'd still be there when he got back. He pushed back into his seat as the pilot pulled up into a near verticle climb, several miles outside of town, gunning it for open space. He'd be sure to keep a hold of this Carid's comm frequency, he had a good crew, and certainly knew how to deliver good service on short notice.

Kaine and his men had led Cormond's militias on a merry chase through the streets. It had been very dicey at a couple of points, but they'd managed to survive through skill, determination, ruthlessness, and a few helpings of blind luck. Their beskar'gam sported new blaster burns, but the four men were uninjured.
Kaine popped up from behind the ferrocrete road divider that the four armoured Mando'ade were using as cover and drilled another charging militiaman with a chest shot from his verpine-made pistol. The militiaman fell away corkscrewing to the ground with a spray of blood, his charge ended. Several dozen blasterbolts made Kaine drop back down fast.
Well, this is fun. Kaine's tone made the lie of his words.
One of the other commandos popped up, and dropped back before firing with a hail of bolts scything through the air where he'd been.
You do take us on the nicest holidays. In the same dry, grim humour of men used to combat.
Kaine laughed despite himself, crouched there behind a foot or two of ferrocrete. You don't look bored to me. Besides. The whine of repulsors became audible over the din of the blasterfire. It's time to go home, boys.
As Keblin's ship came in to land, the four Mando'ade broke cover, firing from the hip as they ran forward, the ship coming down before them. Kaine shoved the three men into the ship ahead of him, then turned, guns up...
Thanks for having us! ...and emptied both pistols into the militiamen coming up from behind, before pivoting and diving through the hatch himself to avoid the mass volley of return blasterfire. His armoured form thumped to the deck.
We can go now! Kaine's men pulled him back to his feet. Job well done, targets destroyed, and no living casualties on their side. It had been messy, sloppy, even. He'd chalk the mission up as a win, nonetheless.

While there would normally be fighters to chase them to orbit, or forcibly ground them, a few fleeing freighters and shuttles, Carid and Pellaeon weren't alone in wanting to bug out of an apparently contested world, were of little consequence given the vast FO fleet sitting on the edge of the system well outside gun range, but not quite beyond their sensor nets. The ride was pretty smooth all things considered. And both ships made it to orbit and would likely make it out of system too, as long as they didn't try to play tag with anything already in orbit.

Once the team is aboard, Kebiin seals the ship and guns the engines towards orbit. With any luck, the ship could find a quiet portion of orbital space to hold out until the battle was completed.
Once the fighting had died down and the attacking force had settled into its new role as an occupier, Kebiin guides the vessel back towards the population center of Cormond in order to meet with his contact and finish his debriefing. Using the his secure commlink he broadcasts a quick message to his employer requesting a meeting.
