Administrator Blanch was overseeing the manufacturing services. He looked at his data pad and frowned. Production levels were down. He did realize it was bitter sweet. The fall of the GA had meant the demand for large weapons of war was down, so he couldn't be too upset personally. Professionally, he could still be frustrated. The Moff had put him in charge to turn profits and make things work, it wouldn't be long before the girl begain to put pressure on him. He had to think of other ways to diversify, or hope the growing Coalition became aggressive and foolish.

Blanch's efforts to keep things rolling were working, not improving production, but keeping it steady. R and D for ideas for new repulsars and other ground based systems were showing promise. They were making money on grants though, not sales. Such a model wasn't sustainable unless these ideas could become better adaptable. He was looking into the construction mech and machine industries for opportunity.

The Hereb declared its intentions to land at the executive complex. The Grand Moff wasn't on the ship, but it was flying under her authority. They didn't ask for permission, they were able to dictate it. Annelise was here to get a report on the future. The Grand Moff had asked for updated projections and told the Moffs and Administrators that a representative of her office would be there. Annelise was tasked to do most of these, this was her specialty.

On the ground, a bit of panic set in. They knew the ship and what it meant. The garrison was roused and made hastily into an escort. The manufacturing company was running but with different tasks. They were getting the forms and projections ready. Things were ok, but they still panic. Suprise inspections had that effect on people.

The hatch opened and most on the ground breathed a sigh of relief when the young woman at the top was an average brunette and not a tall blonde. Most were relieved, but not all. Some had been in meetings with the Aide before, and Annelise had developed a reputation of finding the smallest error in a document or situation. The Grand Moff could be known to look past small flaws and focus on the larger picture. Annelise would see everything. She had a couple of stormtroopers with her, the remained silent as the group exited the ship.Administrator Neiv, good to see you again.

The bureaucrat gave a small nod and was about to start talking, but the Aide cut cut him off. She was in charge of this situation, even without a rank. Strong decisive actions kept things that way.I had expected Administrator Blanch to be here, but it is good to see you. I am here to inspect the facility. The Grand Moff has been receiving the reports. She is pleased with the ideas, I am here to see that they are more than just words on a screen. Please show me the production areas.

The nervous bureaucrat, bit his tongue as she spoke. He had never met the woman, and knew her only from reputation. Her official, and unofficial files were very sparse. They had her name, that she was from Alderaan, and some reports of inspections she had done. Most of that was just rumor. The Grand Moff had didn't let most of that out, and the Aide was a very behind the scenes person. She on the other hand new him well. This familiarity caused him to have mixed feeling. Her use of his name made it feel like she cared, but it also made it feel like she knew his secrets. This was of course Annelise's goal. She was brought up as a spy on Alderaan. She was trained to keep people in this state of unease, psychological power of people was a tool that to some extent could be used on anyone. The administrator regathered his thoughts. His speech was slightly hurried. Though he did nothing wrong he spoke in a way to justify his actions, and very quickly. My lady, he would have been here to be sure, but he is taking care of things off world at this time. He is looking for new raw material contracts. If you... uh are looking for the new ideas, that is actually my area. A little pride creeps into his voice before he can catch himself. I oversee R & D... He says more humbly, catching his slip. Follow me, I will show you too the labs. Annelise lets the bureaucrat ramble a bit, and responds very simply.Lead the way then.

The ideas were good ones, Annelise had to admit. She was impressed by the opportunities of the civilian applications. However, they were going to be expensive to develop. Investing was going to be important. They also had to make sure the military sacrifices wouldn't hurt the effectiveness.

The Construction adaptations of military' applications were very promising. Annelise would have to do greater study to see if the jobs could be handled, ore if they would have to be sent to civilian manufacturing centers. This train would create many more problems on its own. She was good at handling these things, but it didn't mean that she enjoyed handling them. It would be a puzzle to be sure and one that would need Standash's signature. That would mean Annelise had to be that much more thorough.

Balmorran Arms kept its supply up and running for the Empire. AT-ST walkers and its other products served both the needs of its overlords and those with the right amount of coin to purchase. It had long been held by Imperialist nations, Sith or otherwise. So they were used to the hard work that they needed to give in order to meet production queues set by buyers and their governmental overlords. Nonetheless, they were proud to see their products being utilized and sold into the hands of those worthy to buy them after all. Although, there was a time when some went mission cause of an strange agent that infiltrated their facility. Made off with some pretty valuable techware and vehicles. To this day, the foreman and the various security personnel could not pinpoint who grabbed them up, where they went, or what they would be used for.
