Already outside other Jawas and Tusken with markings denoting them as Engineers painted onto their robes and wrappings. They were already looking over the outside of the ship.
Kar'Orzh got up and followed Stead to the aft of the ship. He was glad to hear that he had the genius Jawa, which was even better than seven, or possible more, regular Jawas. Just one could create a moisture vaporator from a broken astromech droid.
-Kar'Orzh- "You could have just landed on the plateau on the second mountain. We have landing areas set aside for the ships we are building. Not to mention our Bantha class shuttle. Much less risk of sand getting into everything...."
Kar'Orzh paused for a moment as he hit the button opening the loading ramp to the ship. As the ramp lowered, both Tuskens and Jawas alike began cheering.
-Kar'Orzh- "We will have our work cut out for us. Isn't that how the Outsider expression goes?"
The only other thing the aged Engineer could do was chuckle.

Kal'shor cupped his hands and yelled out to Bal as he took the Dunewalker's Gaderffii and ran off.-Kal'Shor- "Head east until you come to one of our outposts!"Kal'Shor waited several minutes for Bal to gain ground on him before waving over to several Sentries on the Enclave Wall. Recognizing the Dunewalker's markings on his wrappings and robes. After another few minutes they were down and Kal'Shor was explaining the training exercise.-Kal'Shor in Tusken- "Now let's go catch him. If he wins, all six of you are going to be on border watch for the next month."The Sentries grumbled as they started running east, Kal'Shor heading the pack of Six Sentries. *Bal continued to run. Even as his body couldn't take the push, he continued to run. He barely heard that he needed to reach the outpost and he immediately readied the gaderffi he held in his right hand. He didn't know much about the training here, other than that is was brutal. He wouldn't put it past Kal to have him chased all the way to his destination. The sand he kicked up with his feet was barely seen as he only stepped on his tip toes. The Tusken robe he wore was wearing him down and he couldn't maintain a decent speed. He knew that Kal would have given him a 20 second start if a chase was bound to happen, but he would be prepared if he dare to strike his back.*

People were happy, cheering the new ship. Lots of hooting and raising of gedaffis, praising the greatness of the Tusken. Uli'ah cheered with their little peeping hoots and the adults with the deeper ones. It was a time of festivity and joy in the enclave. One more step closer to the stars.
Only one tusken didnt join in on the hooting and happiness. Six stood on one of the battlements and watched the entire thing unfold with binaculars. She wasnt the only one of course, not everybody ran up like a moron wanting to touch the damned thing, but Six wasnt one of them, not truly. That was the problem maybe. She watched for two people. Finally, she would get the chance as the ramp lowered. An engineer stepped off... Was it the missing engineer? He would have a jawa with him.
She watched, and wondered what where this puts relations between her two clans.

The Sentries gathered around the Dunewalker. Kal'Shor took out his map and traced his finger across an orange trail.-Kal'Shor in Tusken- "What he doesn't have is this. If we head through this canyon we can gain some ground on him and give him a surprise. It will be a lot smoother traveling without the sandstorms interfering with our movements."The Dunewalker put his map away and the group of Sentries went off in the direction of the open terrain of Tatooine.People were happy, cheering the new ship. She watched, and wondered what where this puts relations between her two clans. Nartaga walked up next to Six with his arms crossed. He looked at the ship with a smile on his face. It was a good day for the clan. Even thought this could have negative effects for the near future. Stealing a ship from Outsiders was not something they could take lightly, but they did not know the R'Crurak clan from any other clan. It was also unlikely they would go hunting for the culprits in the desert.-Nartaga- "I guess this means you do have no much reason to leave besides to go see your Sister. If you would like I could accompany you. It has been some time since I've visited one of the settlements."

She didnt take her eyes or binaculars off the new ship, she knew wery well who came.
-Six- "I guess not. Going after 42 at this point wouldnt give much, she just stopped in Anchorage, then will continue to Moes Eisley. Not likely we would catch her speederbike with banthas."
She got a thought. Now that she made a total ass out of herself in front of the Sentry Councilor, she could try to salvage the situation. She looked at Nartaga.
-Six- "We could go to the clan threatening with war and negotiate peace."

Nartaga chuckled at Six's displeasure with the speed of Banthas.
-Nartaga- "We have speeders of our own. They are used for fast reconnaissance and travel. As the High Councilor I can get us one or two. It would be a dead giveaway that we were Tuskens if we rode in on Bantha-back."
Nartaga grew serious as Six said her plan about dealing with the clans that we causing trouble with the R'Crurak. He shook his head and placed his hand up the younger Tusken's shoulder.
-Nartaga- "You have spent enough time among us to know that that is not our way. They already know we are quite capable of destroying them from the face of Tatooine. We do not need to force it down their throats like bad medicine. To force their hands in the negotiations could be a disaster. If they decided not to, we would have another War on our hands. They only threaten another war because they do not want to be cheated. Not that we would. What we offer is fair."
Nartaga paused for a moment, trying to think of the best way to end his little speech. He spoke again, firmly.
-Nartaga- "It is better to have them join happily when they are ready to accept the terms than forcing them to at gunpoint. Grudges and hate do not bode well among allies."

Six put down the binaculars, kinda glad one of her jokes finally hit home. She contemplated what Nartaga said about the thretening clan, but she was, as many times stated, young. She didnt fully understand the value of patience, and was looking for the fast and present solution to problems that might just go away with time.
-six- "They say its not fair? Share. Share me, and my merchandise. As a gesture of .... niceness."
She was looking for the words "Good will".

Nartaga smiled at Six's eagerness to help, but shook his head again. He took his hand off her shoulder and crossed them.
-Nartaga- "It's not necessary, Six. They say the deal is unfair to prolong negotiations and try and get a better deal. More land, access to better wells. It is the same almost every time. Patience is needed in these types of dealings. You are young, and are looking for the easy way out."
Nartaga uncrossed his arms and began walking along the wall, passing by several Sentries.
-Nartaga- "Have you put any thought into training your mind and learning to control the power Tatooine?"

She nodded, giving up her thoughts of fixing that problem, and then stared at Nartaga for a moment as he asked if she wanted to learn. Learn making trees with the Force? Learn other sage powers? Yes. YES. YES!!!
She pulled herself together.
-Six- "No, not really. ... I mean, I didnt think about it. ... As in... I had other things on my mind."

Nartaga tilted his head in confusion. He could feel her excitement at his proposal, and yet she seemed to not really care in her words.
-Nartaga- "I am sorry if I spoke too soon. I am sure you know of your potential. Learning the way of the Shaman is not something to be taken lightly."
Nartaga stopped at the edge of the steps leading back down to the ground level of the Enclave.
-Nartaga- "What has been on your mind, if it is not too intruding?"

She asnwered at once. If she would have cept silent it would have meant she had something to hide. She HAD something to hide.
-Six- "42, the engineer, my new handler, sales, the Sentry councillor, the clan threat, the ascendency of the tusken people, reports. You."
Now that she thought of it, she didnt really think about herself. It was a slaves lot in life.
-Six- "I was taken shortly after I started my shaman training. I am aware of its hardships, and the wisdom the title ... means."

As Nartaga started his way down the steps he nodded. These were times of worry among many, for many things. Much of those same things were on his mind as well. He did chuckle when Six said he was on her mind as well.
-Nartaga- "You do not need to worry about me, Six. I am very capable of taking care of myself. I appreciate the thought though."
As he continued walking, he kept talking, trying to help Six work out her thoughts to put her at ease.
-Nartaga- "The Council can handle any troubles that come from the other clans, and I will have to have a talk with Rik'Ur. He may not approve of your presence, but he is a Councilor and should not act the way he has...He is trying to fill the boots of Or'Rish, the Sentry leader before him. He was a great man."
Nartaga became silent for a moment as he remember his old friend. He shook his head to snap his head out of it.
-Nartaga- "It is your decision to make, and I will not force it, but sometimes you have to do things for you. Slave or not, I believe even your masters might appreciate someone in their midst who can bend the forces of nature to their will."

She stood for a moment, then twirled her gaffi between the fingers and started after Nartaga with energy and exitement.
-Six- "Lets do this."
Or'Rish. She could get close to Rik'Ur with Or'Rish. She will have to find out how he became a great and respected councillor and then use it. Nartaga had missunderstood. She wasnt thinking about him because she wanted to protect him, or... well, maybe. He was too trusting of her, and it hurt her inside. She knew the prime directive on a mission. Assess enviroment, Assess assets, gather assets. It hurt to think of Nartaga as an asset, but she also knew that this was the greatest test of loyality the Mistress could bring before her. She saw now all she could be in tusken society, all the good she could do, and she feared the future. She feared the orders that might come from the people that kidnaped her, tortured her, and made her anew.
That fear was based on one thing, and one thing alone. Sentient beings that do harm and dominate sentient beings are giving those orders.
Orders she will have to obey.
She followed nartaga, trying to lighten her heart, and hoping, that she will do good in the end.

Nartaga turned his head to look at Six as she began running to catch up with him.
-Nartaga- "You came around quickly. I never thought myself that persuasive."
Nartaga began walking in the direction of the Shaman tents on the opposite end of the Bantha stables. He took a seat next to an unlit firepit and crossed his legs, gesturing for Six to sit next to him.
-Nartaga- "It takes much dedication and determination to learn to become a Shaman. We are spiritual leaders. We heal the sick, and give Last Rites to those who are beyond our care."
Nartaga placed his hands on his crossed knees and began to slow his breathing.
-Nartaga- "A natural ability is also required. Just because you are blessed by Tatooine to use her power, does not mean you are capable of it. Let us start with a simple meditation. Clear your mind and find the peace within you. Let all your thoughts escape your mind, leaving only peace behind...."
Nartaga began chanting in ancient Kumumgah under his breath, barely audible. The chant was part of his own ritual, and most of the time he did not even realize he was doing it. The crystal under his robes began to pulsate every few minutes as he continued his chants.

As they sat down by the empty and unlit fireplace. Six started to make a fire at once, as all good servants do. She lit it, as she listened to Nartagas words and then humming. If they were to sit here and meditate, they better heat up. Night is going to be cold. She watched Nartaga. She wasnt alien to meditation. She was thought it to withstand aggressive interrogation. To cleanse her mind and focus on one thing, one thing only. In time, that one thing would become the world. In the crucible, that one thing is pain.
She pulled her small cleansing knife, put it on her left underarm and was just about to cut herself between the rags and stopped. Some kind of light blinked under Nartagas robes. She sat there, not unlike Nartaga, with a knives edge on her skin, left arm stretched out, the kindling fire between them. She waited... what was it? Again. Something, with just the faintest light.
She put down the knife. Waited to see where this was going. No reason to cut herself. Not for meditation 101. Six also wanted to know what that faint light was.

Nartaga's eyes were closed, so he could not see what Six was doing. He was blocking out everything but his own voice, chanting below his breath in his ancestor's language. When he finally stopped chanting, the pulsating light from the crystal also stopped.
-Nartaga- "Focus on your breathing, Six. Push out all of your negative emotions and fill yourself with peace. Find your inner peace. Use it to complete yourself, and tune yourself to Tatooine's core."
Nartaga opened his eyes, and frowned at the knife that was next to Six.
-Nartaga- "What is the knife for?"

She said, cocky.
-Six- "Whats the humming for?"
She asked, Cocky.

Nartaga shook his head. What kind of meditation required a knife? He knew of darker practices where self mutiliation was involved. Very dark practices that were banned in the R'Crurak clan.
-Nartaga- "You do not need a knife to meditate, Six. I do not know what you have been taught in the past, but there are better ways to achieve inner piece."
Nartaga chuckled uncomfortably when Six mentioned what she mistook as humming.
-Nartaga- "That was not humming. It was chanting. It helps me find myself, and calm my mind. It's the ancient language of the Kumumgah."

-Kar'Orzh- "You could have just landed on the plateau on the second mountain. We have landing areas set aside for the ships we are building. Not to mention our Bantha class shuttle. Much less risk of sand getting into everything...." Staed stopped dead in his tracks, and turned slowly to face, Kar. His yellow eyes boring into the Tusken's facemask - though he maintained his composure. Leave it to a damned savage to forget something as important as that... The Jawa thought, with clenched fists, only to let out a long breath. He was wrong to think that, but unlearning racial stigmas, biases, and stereotypes passed down through the generations was harder than bypassing a fugged power conduit in zero G's.
"Uh'ti ba hap'kih'ikee, ek a'reve'ski, Kar'eskka..." That would have been good to know before setting the ship down, Kar...
The Jawa answered as coolly as possible, before continuing on towards the cargo bay.Staed gave the jaunty expression a huffing sound. More work than you know, he wanted to say, but didn't. With the ship lodged in the clasping embrace of the dunes he had landed in, who knew the extent of the damage that might have been incurred. Retro-rockets, field dampeners, and landing gears weren't meant for this terrain. The sand was going to be Staed's biggest problem, not the amount of technical noodling. Leave it to the planet that birthed him to be a complete and totally unforgiving bitch.
Staed grabbed both sides of a ladder and slid down to the cargo decking before looking back to Kar to answer.
"Ouksocholdr'ski neraito reve cha'attli mucha'ki." Offworlders swear a lot more often about their ships.
The Jawa said with a shrug before exiting the landing ramp to a dizzying amount of cheers.

Kar'Orzh merely shrugged when Staed said it would have been better to tell him where to land. It was too late for that now, but the Engineer did get the distinct feeling there were harsher words on the Jawa's mind.
-Kar'Orzh in Tusken- "Bk'av d'kho Siv'k'ur..."
Having sworn by the Suns sufficiently enough, he grabbed the ladder and slid down, embracing the cheers with his own, raising his Gaderffii above his head and waving it up and down in traditional fashion. He patted Staed on the back.
-Kar'Orzh- "Well, we shall treat it with much more respect. This is a gift from Tatooine. We shall treat it as such. Now...where do you suggest we begin? Digging it out?"
