Things moved with a slow yet inexorable purpose on Caamas. The world's member had elected to attempt to terraform it back to it's pre-bombardment glory. It had taken a great deal of work to raise funds for the project, but the Grand Moff had generously donated a significant portion of his own, admittedly kingly, wages to the effort. He had also encouraged sector businessmen, regardless of political loyalty, to invest in helping the world thrive once more, as a thriving world, meant thriving consumers. Funds were donated by numerous foundations for refugee peoples, and many private citizens of the galaxy, as well as businesses and politicians. With the threshold amount reached, the people of Caamas began the initial preparations, namely getting the living souls off the world so they would not be imperiled by the great forces about to be unleashed upon the world. Most would stay in old luxury liners, refitted to serve as small colony vessels for the Caamasi until their world was ready to be inhabited again. Soon the actual terraforming would begin; a delicate process to be overseen by a team of FO order scientists with considerable experience. A touchy subject to be sure in local tabloids, but only time would tell if their experience would be worth anything at all to the barren and wasted world.

A lone YX-1980 transport registered out of Mandalore drops from hyperspace and falls into a holding pattern in the space lanes. On board Kebiin quickly reviews the message he had received before broadcasting to orbital control.
This is CEC YX-1980 Ba'balut requesting clearance to descend to Ylenic Insurance Inc docks. Business visit, no detours.
Kebiin waits to receive an affirmative response and then pilots the craft to the surface towards the designated pad.

As his ship passes into orbital space above Camaas, Kebiin brews a mug of caff and settles in for the coming hyperspace flight and boring review of legal papers. If he was going to be delivering a document, he might as well be familiar with it and any unpleasant reactions it may inspire. Once his ship indicated it was far enough from the planets gravity well, he activated the drives and slipped into hyperspace.

As Kebiin passes out of the system, the last of the vessels lift off the surface, officially ending the evacuation of the surface and allowing the next steps of the terra-forming process to begin. As the last few transports cleared orbit, the long and arduous process began in earnest. The worlds surface was broken and torn into it's constituent parts by massive floating bricks of durasteel that resembled the fabled world devastators in shape and function. Except that these were designed to produce a tailor made environment for the Camaasi people. They also lacked any ability to function without direct oversight, which was usually a specially selected and trained Camaasi. Imperial scientists monitored the progress and made suggestions and observations that were given to the current leading council of Camaas to be handed to the World Shaper's pilots. Mostly the observations pointed out how different biomes could be constructed over the mantle currently in place. Leaving the mantle intact had not been a popular decision among the scientists, but the Camaasi wanted to minimize the destruction and focus on rebuilding, so the mantle stayed. The new world, would be barren, until seeds were planted, then as plants took root and were growing properly, animals, bred and cloned, would be released into the world. Once populations were growing across the globe, the Camaasi would be allowed to return home, to the surface of their planet. They would live in prefab buildings for the first few years as they built new cities to taste, without supervision or oversight. The whole process, was scheduled to take the better part of two generations to complete, though it was possible, if things went very well, for the Camaasi to return to the surface in just over a single generation. A few well trained jedi could speed things along even more, if they dared to help.

The World shapers were hard at work, devouring the poisoned and toxic soil and atmosphere of the world, and treating it. The toxins were held in special reservoirs that could be removed for proper disposal later. The FO would be handling the disposal since the Camaasi had no way of safely disposing of the materials themselves. The world had been un-inhabited for nearly six months and the clean up was still going full stride. The depth and magnitude of Palpatine's destruction was significantly worse than it had seemed at first take, and that had been bad enough. Pellaeon offered to order more of the World Shapers for Camaas, as he visited to inspect the progress. It had been... less than he had hoped but still within the acceptable operating parameters. They declined, as the Jedi had yet to pay their end of the public damages which left them strapped for funds as it was. Pellaeon then mentioned, that significant discounts and aid vouchers would be made available if the world joined the new Empire. This was not received well, and he hastened to add that he did not mean to imply that they would need such relief, only to make it clear that the option was on the table for them to consider. He was well aware that the populace still largely considered him and his government little better than the grand moff Tarkin and Palpatine as things stood. He hoped that his efforts here would change that, but that goal remained a long term objective for time being.
The rest of his visit went uneventfully, and Pellaeon soon left the world and its people to contemplate their fate. If the Jedi were not forthcoming with aid soon, the people of Camaas might not have any other options on the table to choose from... much as they hated the idea. The council checked in with the man hired for the job, He was on Felucia, and was still trying to garner aid from the jedi, but for now he had no good news to offer them. The transmission ended and the council sat quietly wondering what other options were availble to them, now that the republic had fallen... Who else would help them if not the jedi. Pellaeon claimed the new Empire would, and he'd been true to his word so far, but there were too many similarities between the old empire and this new one for the camassi elder's tastes. They were reluctant to even acknowledge the offer had been extended... but they were running short on allies, and the future was very uncertain.

The elders were now very agitated, the discussions having become a stale but never ending argument over how to achieve their goals as a race. The FO/Empire was much dispised by the populace, but the jedi it seemed were busy else where. There were a few souls how desired to seek out other options... but, trying to deal with hutts or other criminals wasn't the most appealing idea, and was likely to end just as badly as dealing with Pellaeon... The world below continued take shape as mountain ranges were rebuilt, and rivers seeded, a hardy grass held most of the surface together while native plants were cultivated and cloned for the world. Arkania, an FO world was donating the use of it's labs to repopulate the planet's greenery at no cost to the Camaasi. Fauna and Camaasi clones would be at market value prices, though given the need for bulk orders some discounts and rebates could be applied. It reeked of meddling on Pellaeon's part, but the boon could not be ignored.

As the surface began to be finalized and cities built to plan, the clones of once native fauna was again released into the wilds. Though, the Camaasi were less than pleased to see them, since they all were brought in on FO cargo vessels escorted by FO corvettes and a carrier. The War ships respected the wishes of Camaas and stayed at the edge of the system, since there was no piracy reported in the system. Indeed there was so little of value left in the system that pirates only ever thought of it as an escape vector given the pacifism of the natives. The fauna had been raised in micro-ecosystems on Arkania, to give them the skills and most of the instincts needed to survive in the wild. Though all of the fauna was completely unphased by the sound of repulsors whining overhead, it was the single largest give away that these creatures weren't actually wild animals. The cargo vessels stopped in orbit, and specially refitted light freighters began shuttling the animals to the surface. Most of the the flora was growing wonderfully in their designated environments... and soon the smallest and simplest animals were scurrying through the young plants as they explored their new biomes.
Work had been completed faster than expected, mostly due to the passion and determination of the Camaasi engineers and scientists working to make it happen. The elders were pleased, and yet... this also meant more contact with the FO. Many of the skilled laborers working with the many FO advisors and representatives have come to respect them. It was particularly unusual to see that the vast majority of the FO personel held little to no bias against the Camaasi people, and the few that did express xenophobia were quickly reprimanded and transferred to work outside of the sector. By and large... the younger generation of Camaas was beginning to trust Pellaeon and his men, if not the FO as a whole. Pellaeon himself, who made semi-regular public appearances, was perfectly understanding of the peoples continued mistrust towards his government. It had started off very rough and been desperate grab for power when the FO had first come. Still, Master Calmcacil's visit hadn't done the world much good. Aside from spreading chaos and destruction, and then leaving the world for whomever else might want it. They'd been lucky the hutts hadn't moved in and re-enslaved the race... It really was a shame that the jedi were so unreliable...

With news from the capital's integration into the First Order spreading, the Victory II-class Star Destroyer Specter under the command of Captain Paxter Thorne entered with two following up Vindicator-class cruisers the Camaas system in order to patroll the system, screening it for rebell activities. Due to the former administrating member of the Pellaeon family there wasn't much to report as the First Order still kept their garrisons on the planet. Even from orbit the efforts of regrowing the world into its more marsh-like state, opposite to the wasteland it once was, could be seen. Like a dried-out flower, recovering after being watered, Camaas was a symbol of the First Order's aim to improve the living conditions for their subjects, becoming another argument within the local propaganda in order to keep the citizens in line.

The First Order Humanitarian Fleet exited Hyperspace above the world. The Conservator- Class Destroyer Midway flanked by an Auxilia, two Nebulons, a Sloan, and a Needa began to deploy. The Captain of the flag ship made contact with the planetary supervisors and arranged a landing zone for the Auxilia and the other support ships. Shuttles and lang craft circled the ships waiting for their vectors. Standash stood on the bridge overseeing everything. She looked at her datapad for updates on Xeonon and his teams movements. She wasn't worried about him, she just liked knowing where wildcards were. No matter their demeanor, an Imperial Knight was a wild card. She smiled as things were working out.

Walking onto the bridge shortly after arriving in the system Xeonon made his way through the working bridge crew garnering a few looks but did not cause too much of a disruption. They knew that he was onboard and dozens had seen him during transit to the system, and although still an oddity they had grown used to his presence.
When can me and my teams make our way down to the planet?

She Smiled at the Knight, and looked at her data pad. That is up to you my Lord. I can have a drop ship assigned to you, or you are welcome to head planet side with me in the Hereb once the LZ has been secured. It has room for any equipment you could need.Selfishly, she wanted the Knight with her. It was nice to be able to keep an eye on him. It was the best way to get information and influence.

I can wait
Despite this being a relief fleet it would be difficult for anyone to get off planet between the quarantine measures and their presence. Crossing his arms Xeonon simply closed his eyes and stood still folding his armoured arms over his chest and waited. Despite his closed eyes he was aware of everyone on the bridge. He did not pry to deeply into their minds but their surface thoughts and emotions swirled around him. The air of professionalism that exuded from them impressed the Imperial Knight. Yet it was Standash that most interested him. Although he would not pry she was a bit of a mystery to him. He could not figure out why a former head of state that had fought the Empire now had a leading position within it.

Any suggestions on fleet deployment? I will defer to your experience? The local Moff nor the Grand Moff had declared a full lockdown. Standash did not have the authority to give that order, and she doubted that order could come from the knight next to her. She could give a screening order, limiting exit from the planet to be more confident the illness didn't leave the planet. It was a precaution mostly, it was hard for a water-borne pathogen to leave the system unless it was sabotage. This thought did concern her a bit, she made not to ad medical tech to the screening list.

Not bothering to open his eyes Xeonon forced himself not to smile.
No. Believe it or not but you and probably everyone else on this ship has more experience than myself in space. Im a boots on the ground kind of guy.
Whether Standash would call him on that he did not know. While it was true he was primarily involved in ground combat and was one of the most renown fighters in the Empire there had been several instances where he had been involved in fleet combat. Including being part of the group involved in orchestrating the naval battle over Prakith. His skill did not come even close to that of the true naval commanders of the Empire, and if she had been placed in charge of a fleet then she would have more knowledge than he.

Not turning to look at the Knight, she smiled. "So" she thought to herself, "He would defer to her. That will work fine. This was the grand game you played at high levels. Everyone trying to feel out the unknowns. She wasn't Force sensitive but she didn't have to be to feel his attention on the back of her neck through his closed eyes. As you wish. Captain Janis, deploy pattern senth. We may not have the authority to lock down the planet, but we can require scanning on most ships to leave. Tell scan teams to pay extra attention to any scientific equipment leaving the world. We do not need to worry about contagious passengers, but lets make sure samples stay groundside. Monitor communications out of system, and transfer anything suspicious to Knight Xeonon. Have fighter groups on standby, and tell the Red Stripes to be ready for planet side with the Hereb in an hour or when we get the all clear.
