Well, the mission to rescue Fel is months away (IRL time), if not longer, so we're not making any hard plans for that yet, but yes, we probably do need some more muscle for that one.

Right now, due to OOC issues with everyone being available to move the story forward, I'm not sure adding another writer would be wise. We've already slowed to a crawl. If/when we can get things unstuck, then maybe we could talk.

We also have a lot to do once we get to Bespin before there's going to be any large-scale action, so if is action you want, you should probably look elsewhere for the time being.

So I guess I would say, we don't have anything for you right now, but keep us in mind for the future.

Yes and no... It wasn't memories I had in mind. Tallon is still very much alive and well, and it could be fun to have him show up to try and stop Dante from unleashing his former self.

Meh, I'd say I'm against it - simply because the energy vampire thing plays such a huge backstory role with Arcturus. It would negate the whole reason Arcy went through the variations. HOWEVER, I will say that the energy vampire article on wookie is HORRIBLY fanon - someone put a huge amount of fanon info into the article. Energy vampires in canon don't have speed, or senses, or claws and such, or even the fangs. In fact, the only thing special about them is that they can drain life energy at high rates via touch, or very slowly in an area effect style of attack, much like a leech. When someones being drained, their connection to the force also gets weaker...and, well, thats about it. They feed off life energy in order to stay alive over long periods of time. Everything else vampiresque is basically made up. Think of them like Wraith off stargate; basic human capabilities, plus life sucking and longevity.

It would make for a good story though, to have a Creed come and try and stop Dante - it would make sense, too, as he would be released before his time. Arcturus probably wouldn't approve, so a member of the family would likely intervene.

Eh, its just that the Creed's, Malice's, and the Sorrows family lines are all energy vamps by definition - it would be a loot of trouble to explain why they suddenly changed species. I'd say make him a half breed...it seems the most logical choice; even Arcturus, with his pension for adoption, didn't suffer any half vampires to live...he'd kill them off lest they infect the line with impurities.

Simple: Tallon has a grudge against being ostracized right? By keeping Dante weak, he prevents Dante from reassuming (potentially) his rightful position as head of house. It's no secret that Dante basically left all his titles and such behind in order to chase after his wife, if Tallon can keep Dante weak, then it makes Dante's job all the harder. I'd chalk it up not to straight up malice, but just to family squabble.

The first challenge is to figure out how you would know to look for us on Bespin. Or maybe you would follow the other end of the trail, and cross reference Syndicate bases against planets to which Dante has prior connections?

It was an afterthought really, but Arcturus' safe house is supposed to be an opportunity for Dante to reacquire some family heirlooms as well as get some information. The rainbow sword, Dies Irae, has been a force imbued blade thats been passed down for generations. Hell, I think even Jace used it as some point. The blade is at the safe house for keeping, along with the library; Tallon, feasibly, could follow a trail of clues from Serenno to Bespin, perhaps looking for the Tome of Sorrows, the Sorrows compendium of force knowledge. Arriving on the planet, he senses the sword, and assumes it to be the compendium (both would have considerable force signatures). Imagine his surprise when he finds Dante on the planet, inspecting the safehouse...he would only assume that Dante is trying to obtain a bunch of Arcturus' old tools and secrets, perhaps to release his locked power. This would lead to Tallon staying to investigate.

This would make even more sense, as both the compendium and the sword are kept closed / sealed by alchemically treated phrik chains...the blood of a Sorrows, a true Sorrows, is needed to break the chains and open the compendium or draw the sword. This would even further give reason for Tallon to investigate Dante, as only Dante and Jace are close enough familial wise to cause the chains to break. Again, there was never any true bloodshed between the Malices, the Sorrows, or the Creeds. All three families simply vied for dominance alot...there's been a LOT of screwing each other over down the years. It would be just like a Creed to try and just kriff with Dante, just for the hell of it.
