Sonovabitch. I mean, SONOVABITCH. Sinistra's gone. What the HELL am I going to do now? That sucks. A lot. I could send an NPC in your direction, give you someone to interact with? I already have the beginnings of an interesting character in mind. I'm definitely not the quickest poster, but I can't imagine quitting, either. And you wouldn't necessarily need to wait for me every single post, either. |

I'm back. Long hiatus after a family death...I see we posted on Bespin, but only in orbit...should we just go ahead and land and post from there, or....? Welcome back. ^_^ I was about to put out an APB on you. Yeah, I screwed up and forgot where I was posting --- should have split the post differently. Oh well. I plan to fix that with my next post. But if I don't get something posted soon, please go ahead. |

I don't suppose Fel would be the type to end up in an arena, would he? It could be interesting to have Wade and Fel interact with neither knowing who the other was. I really miss writing Wade with other people. Hey Wade, You'll have to bring me up to speed a little. I understand why Wade might not know who Fel is (amnesia etc.) but how come Fel won't recognize Wade? Has he changed appearance? And as far as the arena goes, Fel would be about the least successful arena fighter I can think of. Scrappy, sure, but stamina? And as a hand to hand fighter? He'd get destroyed. To flesh out my predicament -- a little more than just cursing -- here's where I'm at. Sinistra and I spoke via FB yesterday, and though she's gone, she might be willing to write out longhand what she planned to do with Fel, what the mission (s) are, and what influence she could bring to bear on the crew. I'm still into the idea of writing out this SL. I like it, and it's really how I wanted Fel's story to come full-circle. Sinistra might be able to give me access to her NPC (Melia) who has been writing with me, just for continuity sake... which means I'd be posting with myself, which wouldn't be any fun at all, but it would serve the purpose. What I need, however, is someone to act the bad guy. Someone to come after the crew with guns blazing when the time is right. I've got a few ideas, but we'll see what happens. As for an NPC of yours coming to write with me -- YEAH! That'd be amazing. Tell me what you have in mind. -Dan |

I've got a bad guy or four that could come after the crew...
Though as far as the arena, I'm not sure. I hadn't really gotten past the idea stage yet. >_<
Edit: Oh, and yes, Wade's appearance has changed again.

As for an NPC of yours coming to write with me -- YEAH! That'd be amazing. Tell me what you have in mind. Here's what I have so far: A human replica droid (or maybe some other species than human) who has been programmed to believe that he is a Shard with a droid body, when in reality he's just a droid. If he survives that long, Oz or Liya's brother (or whoever our tech is when the time comes) will find out the truth, but for now, you/we will initially think he's a person, then probably end up believing that he's a Shard. But there will be clues along the way (which the droid will be oblivious to). |

Wade, as for a character... hmmm... I wasn't sure if you were still intent on having Fel face you, which I'd be up for trying. It would have to be a different timeline, but could be a fun exercise. On the other hand, if you want something to happen in the here and now, I can certainly make up some toughie for you to tussle with. I'm thinking of this species, called the Ular, from a dimension book for the Rifts RPG. It's badass. I'll get the specs up for you...

Well Liya, I'm about to put up a post in Pesktda which will take me off-world. Once I've hit hyperspace, I really need someone from the Imperial Remnant (Empire?) to take the reins from Sinistra, so that I know where I'm going. Once that becomes clear, we can weave this little tale. Hopefully someone comes along who feels like making life difficult for me and taking over as the 'bad guy.' I'll keep you posted as quickly as is possible!

Meh, I wrote in the bit about the airlock cycling to equalize pressure to give people the chance to witness the spectacle if they want - ships don't really go through that process unless they're on a planet with a sizable pressure difference: but, I kinda realized too late that putting a very antsy Dante RIGHT next the ramp didn't really give people time to move anywhere, so I wrote that tidbit in.
Glad you liked it - typo prone though it may be, writing on an Iphone sucks.

looks like you have yourselves an imperial badguy, Imperial Intelligence, none the less, spiced with an insane Nightsister annd her slave minions spread all over the galaxy.
we are still working out the kinks, but I have a couple ideas in detail for now at least. I want Mr Fel to learn to know his new employer, and that would be best done by a meeting with the folks whom are on bespin. One of the Batemans are there now, because of an other RP, and could meet up with the crew, AND send a message to his Felness.
Let me introduce myself, I an Nandor, Nan for short, also write Seleevan Khar, Duke Australis, a senator that has not really gotten into action yet, and the Cyberpunk Padawan.
As for Atia, she has a set of 8 HRD-s under her rule, the Batemans, whom controll and organise a seemingly legit and respectable Shipping company named the Juvex Import Exports. In truth, it is a coverup to hide the upkeep and revenues the old Second Fleet of the Phoenix Imperium pulls in from piracy and other things remnant forces are forced to degrade to, and also, a rather extensive spy network spanning many worlds. These will be the guys that will hunt you good lot down when well the time comes.
Recently this operation joined the empire and are now the intelligence and black operations arm of said great nation.
