Dude, it's not a contest. Lol.
I just meant that Wade's gone through a pretty major life-changing event and I haven't really gotten to explore who he is now.

Oh, I don't know, Chancellor. I'm sure there are plenty of former acquaintances who could shed some light on you, both character and history...

My post was sarcasm, as Fel mentioned Ronin held many high profile positions. So though there is a good bit not known or public knowledge, a good bit of it is.

Eh most of those I use to rp with no longer rp or their characters were killed, so short of ooc info those data archives I gave you for your background are about as much as you'll find unless you can somehow locate Vyra, Raan Jade, or Adi ...good luck with that by the way. Vyra, and Raan don't exactly hold a warm part in Ronin's heart if we're being honest (sorry Lor) but it has helped me delve more into a Ronin with less morals, and sorta less together. Like Floki from Vikings before the last two seasons where he lost his shit

I didn't think there's anything in this universe that can make Galdaart Fel scream and run. So much for that legend...

Vyra, and Raan don't exactly hold a warm part in Ronin's heart. I'm devastated. Really. Not sure if you're serious or joking.... Well if you look at it from an IC pov Vyra lead Ronin on alot, played love games (enter Old Greg) and was kinda the Jenny to Ronin's Forest, popped in and out and finally only popped back up to die... I don't know how to compare the Raan and Ronin relationship in a funny fashion. Can I use a lifeline for help on this one?!

I was 100% joking, of course, but good analyses of their RP time!

Good question Dante. When in the Imperial war machine, Fel was still learning. At first, it was his ticket off the Tarisian underworld, and out into the 'verse. Then he discovered piloting, and yeah, for a while, there was a love affair where he swallowed the doctrine, because it meant he got to fly. Then it became family, not unlike the Crew. He commanded a squadron, and he did his best to keep his people alive, even in the face of overwhelming opposition, bad orders, faulty intel, poor command structure. The love affair ended, replaced with a fierce determination to do right by 'his' people. Over the months and years, he also saw the chinks in the Imperial dogma, like an altar-boy who has seen one too many foul things done in the name of the church. He grew to fear and loathe the people who sent his squadron on suicide missions. And as the numbers of skilled pilots, veterans dwindled and he was left training green recruits, yet facing the same odds, he became a little mad, stretching in the pilots' seat, taking extraordinary risks to 'save' his own people, and hating himself more with every one that didn't come home. He became insubordinate, a terrible officer, a liability in the officer corps. And he was disciplined, busted down to barely a flight officer. But they couldn't ground him. He was too valuable in the cockpit. So it became a self-fulfilling prophesy. Ever worse odds, more medals, ever more losses. The day over Dantooine was inevitable. As was his incarceration. Everything since has been a direct result of that time. Fel's reluctance to trust, his monumental fear of losing one of his own, his lack of close relationships (Liya and Jace have been with the crew three years IRL, and I'd be hard pressed to find a time they shared more than a few sentences with their Cap'n at any one time.) His inability to love, his fear and hatred of the Imperials, his distrust of the Force, the few items he holds dear... all of it points to his past, though outside of Malora, I'm not sure how many in the crew really know that. I love it. The history really does show through the writing. Doesn't that itself show how he'll die, though? Here at the end, even worse odds, trying to save his strange and eclectic family of rejects? Wouldn't his monumental fear drive him to save the crew at the expense of his own life? Unable to form close relationships, unable to share Love with Lor; he knows he doesn't have a place with the crew. So, he shows them love, and shows them their relationship, in the only way he's capable of expressing - once more unto the breach, as it were, refusing to lose more men, taking the biggest risk of all...saving his family, but dying because of the risk he took.

AUUUUGGGGHHHHHH I didn't think there's anything in this universe that can make Galdaart Fel scream and run. So much for that legend... It's a very short list, but everything on that list is on there for a very good reason.

I dont know. I always pictured Fel dying because he went down with his ship. Like he got wounded or something, knew he wasn't going to make it, so he tricked the crew into leaving, and then like, suicided his ship into something large, threatening, and highly explosive when little ships run into it. But only little ships. Because LOGIC. ...This is exactly what's in my brain about Fel's death scene. Like, exactly. o_o Fel and Dante are pretty similar, honestly. Obvious differences aside, they have absolute loyalty to those that are in their family. There isn't much they wouldn't do for them. Add the smuggler ship fetish into the mix, and presto, lol. Honestly, Dante will probably die in a similar fashion, just with a sword or some weapon in his hand. Probably blast a door to close on you guys. I've always imagined that Liya will go out with such a bang, there won't be anything left of her to be recovered or buried. But not for a good long time. Jace will have voluntarily stayed behind (against the crews wishes of course) in order to buy them valuable time to escape. Pinned against numerous foes, he'll slowly gun down the seemingly infinite number of soldiers flooding his position, getting more wounded and weary after every wave. At the last moment he'll call in the artillery/strafing run/orbital bombardment on his position taking them all out with him in a blaze of glory.

I see you're all ignoring the very real possibility that Liya will snap and kill you all in your sleep.

Wow! I guess I'd better give Jace a chance to respond to Dante's monologue before I post Liya's return to the ship.
