I didn't know it was ever off the list... or that there was a list... at least a list that didn't involve local brews.

just be aware, just cause we are on the list, doesn't necessarily mean we will do what we are told. We respect the Jedi and all, but we are primarily a Grey Jedi/Potentium Order, so at the same time we are happy for people to come and learn at the Temple, just don't be expecting us to fall in line.

Hullo there!
Originally, I didn't quite anticipate imposing myself so much on people, but I feel it may be a tad necessary if I wish to make some interactions, so long as you would be willing to consider it.
I'm rather new, in a sense, and if you haven't seen my invasion of multiple threads in the last day or so, I have already spoken to members of the Galactic Republic, my own thread, and a storyline going on on Corulag.
I just dropped in here to say "Hello." and let you all know that there's a little Jedi here who's open to communication by members of the order if any of you feel the need to send me on a mission or what not. On the other hand, I might be the one crying for help in short order if what I suspect is going to happen on Corulag does indeed come to pass.
In any case, a good day, afternoon or evening to everyone, wherever you are.

In 1.0 and early 1.5 Rodia served as a smaller academy of sorts. We are trying to rebuild it as a jedi stronghold. It seems to be far enough removed from the rest of the jedi world's to make an ideal base in the mid rim.

Thanks for drop by, I'd might suggest that instead of trying to do a full blown academy-- I might suggest that you an enclave or sanctuary-- an extension of the Order or a nearby academy. Just a thought.

yeah Oraltor Nadon, i agree with Will Sontir on this one. in fact I had planned to establish a sanctuary on Bakura because back along my Massive personal timeline, the jedi had a base there.

Hey everyone,
I'm looking to start a career as a Jedi, basically I have a force sensitive 14 year old (Though I might make him a little older) who I want to become a Jedi.
I would like to start off his training at the Jedi Initiate stage so I can play his story all the way from becoming a Jedi to whatever end may be in store for him although if that is too difficult to get started I'd like to start off as a Padawan in which case I will need a Master. I would like to go on missions and the partnership would hopefully last a long time until I am ready for the trials.

Alright. I will NPC some training for you so at least you can get some basics done while we try and sort something more in depth for you. I will post as soon as I can.

Thank you, Will. Linis Moonrider, welcome. When things get slow for you, I've got several NPCs running around that can do various things if you're on Corellia and needing something.

Hey, I know the Jensaarai aren't well known, and I'm not here because of them. I just want to say that I have Crystaall on Coruscant to delete several of the archive files the Jedi have on her, including her past involvements with the order. I'm willing to RP this with anyone, but I must warn you that she is determined to have her files erased, as well as others. She refuses to let the Jedi have any record on her. Her strongest ability in the Force is to sense everything around her, and her skill in combat is quick and devastating. I will accept nothing but the best from whoever accepts this challenge. If no one does, I'm going to assume the Jedi normally allow their archives to be hacked and erased?

Well, as one of the members of the Council of First Knowledge, I imagine it'll be up to me to help stop you, I also imagine Raylia Venci will likely be doing the same since she is the head archivist on Coruscant. However I see a number of problems with this proposed plan of yours Crystaall, which are as follows: - I don't particularly see any hacking/slicing experience mentioned in your profile. (see point 2 for relevance)
- The Archives on Coruscant are one of the main repositories of Jedi Knowledge, for that reason there will be a number of security measures, both physical and logical, that will be in place to protect them. Thus it would require a high level of slicing skill to break past the security measures.
- Due to the fact the Archives on Coruscant are soo important, it is safe to assume that like modern day computerised archives, there will be a number of back up's of all the data that won't be stored solely in the accessable Archives. (frankly, episode II's little: "Dooku managed to erase data that we didn't have a back up of", was an insult to every network design logic that even we have)
- You would need to access not only the main archives, but also find the locations of all the back-up's. Of which there could be any number of, in any number of locations, ranging from a couple of back up's on Coruscant, to several on Coruscant as well as on Corellia, Yavin, Felucia, and Honoghr. (all locations that have Jedi Archives on that would be storing their own information, as well as that stored at Coruscant)
Honestly, trying to erase Jedi data, is like trying to fully erase all your data from facebook, or twitter, or the NSA, or ASIS, or MI:5, or any other intelligence agency or social networking site that has your data. There are servers, upon servers, upon servers, containing copies of this data, with new techniques contantly being used whilst defences against these new attacks being constantly developed. Even in the modern day, its not an easy task to hack a system, let alone permanently erase important files that would mysteriously be stored only in the one place. You then need to take into account the fact that this is Star Wars, I mean they have lightsabers, hyperspace travel, holograms, interstellar communications, and all sorts of technologies that make our computer systems look like the stone age. So you may throw down the challenge that you expect only the best to try stop you, but unless the evidence is there to prove your character has the knowledge and experience, the system itself will defeat you without Rawkill or Raylia having to do a thing. So I guess my point is: show that, IC, Crystaall is worth someone putting their best into trying to stop her. Do you have a plan of attack?

Crystaall's main source of recieving and deleting any technological information is her astromech droid R4. Over 20 years, the droid has received many programs including slicing programs. Her droid has served under her through the Rebellion and also has seen several blueprints of Jedi security systems back on Yavin and previous trips to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Her droid is her slicer, having it already connected to the holonet. Crystaall is aware of the back-ups but has decided to start with Coruscant, knowing its the most heavily guarded to her knowledge. She is hoping her R4 can manage to give her access to the files on record on an Archive comp. She is overconfident with her mission though, expecting everything to go smoothly. She doesn't believe the Jedi can outwit someone who has been in their ranks several years back. She knows that she has to keep R4 within her sight, since he is the only droid companion she has, and will not be able to do her mission without him. She's hoping that R4 can get into the system, but if he can't, she'll go to drastic measures and try to find the Temple's security. I did forget to put any type of hacking/slicing/tech knowledge on Crystaall, which is my own fault. She knows how to repair and destroy several security programs through training as a Bounty Hunter, but it is an unfinished art, which is why she will rely on R4. I'll be sure to put that in her description. Other than the above, her plan of attack is to delete any possible files that could have her name on it, including all the records the Jedi has on the Rebel Alliance, Order 66, her home planet Naboo and any data about the Jensaarai and herself. She believes that the Jedi will use it against her, should she revert back to the dark side once more, and that the Jedi will kill her once they find her. Any other questions I should address?

...
Why would they bother hunting down one Jensaarai? Especially if she's basically harmless to the Order as a whole?
Not to poke holes in your SL setup Crys, but the concept is really really thin. As Rawhide, I mean Kill ( ;-) ) has stated. Going into the lions den - with your admitted non-mastered super sleuthing skills - you'll have the Jedi Temple guard on you like butter on toast. Even I haven't been able to go through the Temple since the FB days, so, I have to give it to Rawkill, and say that getting in and deleting everything about yourself is going to land you in Republic jail.
May I make a suggestion?
Why not go to the Temple and ask to see the archives? You're a Jensaarai, and Luke kind of trusted them... What's to say that the Jedi - seeing as they're still rebuilding form the Holy War - aren't in need of Forcies? Even someone that straddles the line might be given leave to search through the archives. That's just me thinking inside the friends zone box of the Jedi. If you;re not trying to fool them, kill them, or otherwise eradicate them. I think you have a very very good chance of getting some of what you want down, without the sneaky sneak.
Also, maybe you get cocky, and think you can delete everything. they catch on, trace your course, or otherwise just think you're being odd about the archives. Then you have a killer SL about you having to get the hell out of the Temple, or basically standing trial for espionage, and possibly treason. Talk about heart pounding, no?

I would hate for such glorious pieces of history to be removed before I take the Temple as my own.
I have to have something to read with my morning Tea after-all.

To be honest, thats actually the plan. She knows that the Jensaarai are allies to the Jedi, so she plans to make it as far aa getting to the archives. Once there, she tries to eliminate any files on her and then orders R4 to start deleting anything major she was apart of, which will mean a lot of data that theJedi might deem useful such as historic events, battleplans from the GCW that were used and the like. She only expects her own files not to be an issue. The rest she knows could have a lot of people after her, but she doesnt intend to fight.
