And no one has to lose there fleets OOC. Just switch your command to GR command (who is the GA anyway?).
Look the Republic is weak because we do not rep them. I am one of the only jedi who writes with the Republic. There used to be a few more of us. But I NPC the fleet that I command, and the Senator and local government of Mon Calamari as NPCs and members the Republic. I don't see why my jedi needed to be in the middle of any of it, and I am super surprised you guys still do. I am glad that Dav is moving away from it. But again the whole "I don't see a point to give me fleet to the Republic because they are weak" is a flimsy argument in my head. They are weak in writers because you don't write them. But they are rebuilding; as are all of us.

I don't feel there ought to be a mandatory "lets all write with the (Alliance/Republic/Whatever the Hell they are anymore)." Call me old fashioned, but legitimizing a means of rping Jedi without militarizing them (which is how it should be anyway; Jedi only took command posts during wartime, and as of yet, we are not at war) just seems like a good idea. If there's a way for us to remain keepers of the Peace without taking up arms proper, we should be doing it. Reserves, not active duty.

oo, I'm not saying you HAVE to RP Reps. But if you want to play fleets, it just makes sense that they belong to the Republic; Jedi don't need them. Like you are saying.

Oh, for sure. I'm not saying "lets be Jedi Fleet Commanders." That's silly. Alkor couldn't coordinate a fleet to save his life. If he were in charge, we would all be doomed. I'm using an NPC named Jefra Ornix to command his ships. All "Republic" commisions.

So political thoughts and such aside, I thought this'd be best place to ask, but, there any masters of masquerade out there? The subpower of Force illusion that basically lets one mask their appearance? If so, would you be up for a teaching RP? I figured I haven't done a ton of the one-on-one stuff, and thought it could also be a neat opportunity to write with someone I don't usually write with. The student in question would be Morgan, who once exhibited the ability through extreme circumstances. Figured it'd be nice if that ability could be developed a bit, particularly with someone who would actually know the ability.
If anyone's up for it, let me know.

As for you, Aer, it sounds like you finally found yourself a good excuse to come visit my crew on the Forest Moon. We Shadow types like to use stealthy Force Power like Cloak, Concealment and Illusion. Zalor himself doesn't know Illusion, (not yet, anyway) but I'll at least be able to find you someone around the Shadows Enclave that does.
