Well I'm writing with Jud at the moment and I think between his influence and the way JVS jedi are nowadays, Alaric is going to be pretty disillusioned and at fundamental odds I guess with the modern-day jedi. So he'll meet with some of you jedi, have a falling out and then try to find his place as a vigilante, lawful good type wandering the galaxy doing the sentinel/watchman thing for a little bit, then he'll probably pick a crime heavy world or a place of the darkside and make it his personal mission to rid evil from that particular planet

Hmm... Alaric is from the KOTOR era and at the end of his padawan years and the beginning of his knightly years he fought in Mandalorian wars... Most of his crew and my team of NPC jedi survived in cryo-stasis and they've got experience fighting old neo-crusaders. It wouldn't take much to point them at this new mando threat to the Galaxy.
Taung has been itching to do something and while I can't give him an epic space battle, I might try to do something with him and it might relate to the overall effort. If that's not cool let me know... It's just that i'd like to be active, but I also don't want to be drawn into the yavin thing. Great writing and all, but the pace is a little slow for me

Considering Im not -on- Yavin...Im on Carida....*although thats a secret right now, pretty much...lol*...It avoids the complication that you speak of. Taung had discussed letting us hit him...perhaps we can co-ordinate something?

Yeah that'd be fine... having a little modern jedi oversight to see how batshit crazy and zealous me and my NPC's might be when dealing with mandos.
Taung loves his fleet battles, but that isn't really going to be this character's cup of tea. Maybe we can harry his forces in a space lane or hit and run attack outlying mando planets?
