If you really disagree, turn into an IC story arc that he is investigated by the CoRecon over the course of the next year.

I'm not saying I don't like Adi or that he's an unfit candidate. I'm just saying that from an IC standpoint he's in an interesting position . As far as I'm concerned, I just want to see him stay true to character and roll with the things he did. If he realizes there is a problem and deals with it- in the spirit of continuity and development, and not me being a jackass- I think he'll be a fine councillor.

Lest we forget about Kay'li, I'll add her name...if that's okay. Council of First Knowledge 1. Raylia Venci 2. Jedi Master Rawkill 3.
Council of Reassignment 1. Devlin Dewe 2. 3.
Council of Reconciliation 1. Broon Krano 2. Kay'li Raganella 3.
I'll toss my name onto the list. It seems no one wants to work alongside Padawans and those who fail their trials. Understandable. I think the aspect of working with Master/Padawan pairs could be cool. Sure, I'd like to work with the Shadows; but I'll leave that third spot open for the public leader of the Shadows...if they have one. Not sure anymore, kind of out of touch with the Jedi Order (downfall of hermit life ). I mean, I live in a library...sort of (if living in the woods near a library counts); but that doesn't mean I need to be on a council of librarians. I don't think the Council of Reassignment will or should turn into a council that plans all the trials or tell a Padawan when they're ready to advance. Those duties should still fall to the Master. However, I do think the council should have a representative present to help assess a Padawan's (or Knight's) trials. And help OoC if ideas need to get tossed around. And the Council of Reconciliation could have a role in helping deal with the Sith. You know, like when Sin asks for help. They'd probably be part of the team that goes to investigate her claims to want help and see if it's a trap. Might also be good to send a Shadow along, too. But, in the guise of something other than a Shadow (since they're secret agents). And assigning punishment to Adi for his skirting the dark side...maybe they could make him shave his head? Wait, is there a Council of Hermits? Because I know 2 qualified candidates already: Monte and myself. We could meditate all day. Be all antisocial and whatnot. And not need to focus on the Order, but rather on where the Force is guiding the Order. ...Or something. Mostly, the meditating thing. Edit: Sorry, got a little smiley crazy there; but, if it helps to know when I'm joking...

If I am allowed to take the shadow position, Eremiel's backstory has him as the son of a wealthy Senator of the GR. He could go in the guise of a diplomat serving his father (even if it isn't his true father, he would know how to act in such a role). Just an idea that popped into my mind.

Sounds like a hairy predicament. I'd like to volunteer to be that Shadow. I was about to show up and help out Jerek on Coruscant with his story and that can lead up to Octavious being the Shadow to help investigate.

All of the Shadows are about investigating, infiltrating, destroying dark side artifacts and assassinating clear threats to the Order. However you see it fit to fill that role is up to you guys.
That said, if you want to operate on the council proper, I suggest you guys do it under a false identity. Separate your Shadow persona from the Jedi you portray. Jerek can't- wont, might be a better word- act on the council, because as far as the records go, his file reads "killed in action." Publically, some (if not all) Shadows do not exist.

Everyone has an opinion that is as valuable as anyone else's and everyone else's opinion is a great deal more important than mine. While we have an HC that is nearly for direction and RP purposes and that does not mean our opinion is greater than that of anyone else's. so no more self depreciating talk or I'll give you my council seat and make you fill out all the requisitions for Adi's hair products. Oh please no... anything else! 0.0

A little self deprecation never hurt anyone. Keeps our egos from going out of control. But yeah, you probably shouldn't take that too far.

I've got almost no homework tonight and will be diving into my overdue posts, including bringing Tyor to Coruscant. My apologies for the delay >.<

And just a sidenote: The Jedi Order usergroup is set up, for those who want to join it. I'll try and get them to make it open but until then, I'll just approve everyone that requests it. (need to have the leadership changed too, to match the newly minted HC).

Ok, guys, in my defense....
1-The 'slipping' was due to a scrapped storyline. I can't change what I have written, due to it being part of a larger storyline, but I am not taking him dark. There were too many that left a void, and I couldn't do further damage from an OOC standpoint to the Jedi Order by leaving like that. My apologies. Personally, I think that -any- Jedi should be identifying that the dark side is -there-, no matter HOW light they are. Adi just had to deal with the creeping darkness. You are a fool if you think you can just waltz through life as a force user without being tested. I write Adi dealing with the darkness on a pretty regular basis....and fighting it all the way. It's just part of being a Jedi who is thrust into situations like this. I will deal with this IC, like I always do.
2-Sin is right....The Jedi were going to have to be working with Sith, Darksiders, Dark Jedi...We were all in danger of being hit by the Mandalorian war tide, up until the war kinda fizzled. Yet another storyline I was getting set up for, and not able to complete.
Even Luke Skywalker, one of the best known Jedi in canon, went dark for a while. Being a Jedi is about fighting that darkness, keeping it at bay....There isn't a place where my character actually embraced the dark side in this Carida RP. Close, most certainly....but not a total fall. Everything was in his mind for the most part, and he was able to contain it, and fight it. I have been the victim of a rapidly-changing storyline on the site, and with the changes and such, I've had to drastically alter plans and ideas I was having not even a month ago...as are a LOT of us. I am -still- one of the biggest voices speaking out for the Jedi, and I try to be one of the OOC driving forces behind it. I'm sorry you don't like the fact Adi was nominated to the council, but apparently enough people thought that I give enough of myself to JvS and the Jedi over the last six years to think I allow me a slot in the High Council. Timing is poor, I won't disagree...what, with Carida going splodey, and the events leading up to it....but this vote was, for the most part, an OOC thing. I'd like to think I give a ton of effort OOC for the Jedi order....at least pull my weight among others who also give a lot of time to the Order.
Now, if you want to investigate Adi IC, be my guest. If there is evidence to get him knocked off the Council, and that is the crusade you so desire to undertake, fine. Go for it. I'm all for it. This is starting to appear a witch hunt, though....and its starting to grate me the wrong way.

This isn't a witch hunt. Witch hunts don't target a specific person so much as a group who has a perceived flaw. This is voicing a concern about your SL's which have been addressed by numerous others and put to bed.
Chill. It's fine.

Kel'Al isn't a Shadow by strict definition, but he's carrying out similar operations, so I am going to be keeping him off the radar, except for an academic role on Corellia. I'd imagine that I will be working with the CoFK and the CoRec when Sith (or other enemy) targets are identified and need to be taken down.
Officially, my starfighter unit won't exist.

Well first it has to unofficially exist Kel....
As for Adi.... Yes... I think we defended you sufficiently already... so don't steal our thunder, it's bad for our egos as protectors and such and whatnot.
