Can't we just have this one moved? We want the first post in each thread to be made by a currently active leader of the group, so that they can update their own group information template whenever they want. The problem comes because we don't have any way to retroactively reassign the first post for a thread that was started by an inactive player, so this puts that group at a disadvantage because no one can update their post without involving a Whill (not to mention the extra work for us, or the tendency for their information to be stale because it's harder to get it fixed). Therefore, in the spirit of treating all of the groups equally, among other reasons, we felt that if we were forcing some groups to start over, we should force everyone to start clean. |
