The Organization OOC planning thread

I am definitely still in with the Perses Project if/when we get it back up and going.

Here is the first post on the Organization's planning thread from 1.5:

"The Force. It has many names, Ashla, the White Current, Bogan, and so on. These names are representations of the beliefs that have divided the galaxy and its people for millenia. The Force has the ability to grant life, heal the sick and wounded, it can be used to predict disasters and even prevent them, but these applications of the Force are rare. The most common use of the force is in the form of a weapon, weapons that can deal death with but a thought, electrocute with the point of a finger, crush the insides of a being with the clinching of a fist, it can be used to peer into your mind, access your deepest fears, thoughts, desires and use them against you, it can even destroy a planet. Some say the Force is a gift to be used, a blessing to all. I disagree, the force has brought war, famine, murder to those who would have otherwise never known it, the Force is a curse, and those who wield it are the vanguard of our destruction.

The Jedi would have you believe that they are the guardians of the galaxy and protectors of the innocent, to that I ask, where were the Jedi during the devouring of Katarr? Where were they for the destruction of Alderaan? The bombardment of Telos and Taris? The Genocide of the Firrerreo? They stood by and watched as the people they claimed to protect were viciously murdered without just cause...And where were the Jedi for the Massacre at Malachor?...Malachor, the one of the most vicious atrocities in the history of warfare, where were the Jedi?...At the trigger. Yes, a Jedi was responsible for the slaughter of countless Mandalorian warriors and that very Jedi was honored as a hero. Guardians of the Galaxy indeed.

The Sith...I do not even know where to begin. The Sith have had hand in nearly every catastrophe in recorded history since the first division of the Force-users. Genocide, bombardment, barbaric experiments and methods of torture, massacres, murders, I could go on forever listing the atrocities committed in the name of the Sith, but I would be wasting my breath, the Sith are a bigger threat to the non-force sensitives than even the Jedi, while the Jedi sit idly by and watch as the people they are charged to protect the Sith actively hunt us, use us as servants and slaves. We are viewed as little more than droids to them. To that I say we will not stand for it any longer.

But I ask you, is one really so different from the other? The most common Force belief would say that they are, dark force and light force. I believe this is a lie. I believe that there is only one force which has been twisted and manipulated to suit the needs and desires of their separate churches. This lie told to us was created to paint a picture that would fuel the war that has lasted all those millenia. Good vs Evil, Light vs Dark, Jedi vs Sith. A lie devised to justify the abuse of the Force in an effort to play gods. The Force is a power that it's user have proven does not belong in the hands of mortals. This is evident by the atrocities carried out in support of their lies in the name of their religions.

Force users, rather than using their abilities to improve the galaxy, instead choose to use their abilities as a means of superiority and not only against each other, but us, the non-force sensitives. We are at war my friends. Like it or not, we. Are. At. War...and we have been for centuries and until now that war has been one sided, but not anymore. We live in a universe dominated by the tyranny of mysticism and fear. The Force users would press these beliefs upon us, to that me must fight for our freedom. The reign of the Force is at an end, the time for the non-force is here. Together we will stop this force using threat, together we will make this galaxy a better place, together we will take back what is rightfully ours...together we will fight for our fallen, our lost, and our freedom...together..."

The Organization in the Public Eye

A shadow organization, known only as the Organization is as much of a mystery as the man who leads it. Many believe that the Organization is not led by one man, but a vast network of men and women who have band together to achieve a common, yet unknown goal. Though it is virtually unknown to the public eye, the Organization is not completely unheard of in some circles, though it's true purpose remains a mystery. Speculation of those who have heard rumors of it's existence range from a wide variety of things from an illegal financial group to a galaxy wide conglomerate responsible for the whole of the galaxy's underworld. In any event the true nature of the Organization remains a closely guarded secret, as does it's existence.

The Organization in Reality

The Organization is the unification of non-force sensitive beings throughout the Galaxy lead by The Mysterious Man. The Organization's true purpose is to bring the salvation of the galaxy and usher in a new era where all beings are free of the tyrannical rule of Force users. The Organization believes that no mortal is ready for the responsibility of wielding the Force and as such they have taken on the task of cleansing the galaxy of all who abuse their power in the name of false religions and put an end to a war that has waged on senselessly for thousands of years.

The Organization recognizes that Force-sensitive and Force-user are not two sides of the same coin but rather two entirely different coins. It is the goal of the Organization to remove the threat of the force by any means necessary, in the case of Force-sensitives it simply means to cure them of their burden, they were born with the impurity and should not be punished for something out of their control. However, those who have chosen to wield the force unjustly are an abomination and a threat to all life in the galaxy and the galaxy must be cleansed of their existence, and they must be punished for their sins.

Who We Are Looking For

Like-minded individuals and groups who are not sensitive to the force or those force sensitives who wish to be cured of their affliction. All trades and careers are welcome. Al applicants must submit to an array of testing including scans and blood tests to determine force sensitivity otherwise you will not be accepted into the Organization in character.

Disclaimer: The speech above was written from an in character perspective and should be viewed as such, however, it is not to be considered an in character action as it was not posted within the universe and was merely meant to set the tone of the idea. All storylines will be welcome in time, however I will not accept or acknowledge any attempt at infiltration of this group until we have done something in universe in which infiltration is warranted. That being said, I will not refuse such a storyline once the group takes off.


And to explain the Perses Project, it is an extension of the Organization, a group of outstanding individuals brought together to complete a mission of galactic proportions.
