The High Councilor deactivated her lightsaber and clipped it to her belt, half-smiling introspectively at how the day had turned out. Jade waited long enough for Diamonte to say something if he felt so inclined, but sensing his reticence, she spoke up, with a welcoming nod over at Adria Doran, the other survivor of the siege of Yavin IV.
"In that case, let us honor the past by celebrating the future."
She clicked a signal on her comlink and gestured towards the far entrance as Jedi came in with food and drinks in plenty. Jade cast a meaningful glance over at Diamonte, and headed over towards Master Rawkill.
"You've done a good job with your timely arrival here, but I would guess you are ready to return to your regular duties with the Council of First Knowledge?" she inquired, lifting a glass of something blue-ish in color off a passing tray.

Rawkill respectfully declined any offer the waiters made to him for food and drink, since he had eaten not long ago during his trip back here from Coruscant, and he had no real desire for any drinks, alcoholic or otherwise. He gave a curt bow to Jade when she came over to talk to him, complimenting him on his timely arrival to Yavin IV when it was in trouble, although the real credit was owed to the Force for his arrival =Jedi Master Rawkill= Timely arrivals are something of my speciality I suppose... Rawkill paused, taking a moment to think on Jade's questioning, as he scanned the gathered group of Jedi for no particular reason =Jedi Master Rawkill= But yes, it is time for me to return to my regular duties, although at this point, I can't say whether I do them for the Council, or if I'm just doing it for the sake of history, considering how few our numbers are... I appologize for my melancholy, it's just, a lot has happened lately...

As alexis had stepped forward, my ignited saber was lowered to point to the ground, as was the same with most of the jedi, but as the blade was cut, I raised it up once more… breathed a calming sigh, and extinguishing the blade. As many of my brothers began to converse amongst themselves, I took care of business that I needed to clean up before I joined the party.
First off, I ventured over to the side where some of the guests had left gifts for the new knight, or Totems symbolizing a strong memory the two shared. I placed down a small Box that bore resemblance to the Vault that was given to Luke Skywalker containing the famous copy of “The Jedi Path”. however this vault was smaller. inside was a velvet pad containing a unique Jedi credit and a crystal. The crystal did not glow when in the pad, but after being meditated with would give off light with the same hue as Alexis’ aura. If Alexis was curious and removed the padding that held the two objects, a letter sealed in wax with my own crest would be found. After placing the vault on the table, I bent down to remove a storage case that had been tucked under the cloth adorning the Table. I then made it my duty to collect my crafted sabers from the honor guard and place them into said case. as I collected the last one, I walked the case over to Masters Jade and Rawkill, setting the case before the Ewok master, quite aware that by necessity, the case was bigger than the Ewok master himself was. giving an honest smile I spoke“ Master Rawkill, these lightsabers should be transported to the archives and placed in the care of Council of first knowledge. Although these are mere replicas, I made sure they had the same intensity as the originals making them just as lethal as the originals if they fall into the wrong hands.” As waiters passed around our trio once more, I plucked the lone flute of amber liquid from his tray and gazed at its contents for a moment before taking a sip. The flute was especially placed there to deal with my Instramtan alcoholic intolerance.“ May ashla be with both of your spirits this day. Please excuse my drained demeanor, I have spent too many weeks attempting to figure out ways to shed the shadow of the former administration while trying to make the praxeum a worthy choice for parents of force sensitive children.”

Kel'Al's eyes never left the young candidate's face as Jade stepped forward and made Alexis' Knighthood official. Even though they barely knew each other, the room was alive with the Force, and he could sense a bit of the turmoil and loss within her. But it was washed away with the control of one who is ready for bigger things. It was right to remember those who had mentored the young Knight, and those who had been lost along the way. Emotional control did not mean you became an unfeeling robot, only that your emotions did not distract from your purpose or cloud your vision.
As the other Masters ignited their sabers, Kel held out his own saber hilt, and added his own snap-hiss to the chorus around him.
As Alexis turned to face the assembled Jedi, a contented smile planted beneath her dark eyes and shining face, Master Raganella nodded ever so slightly in acknowledgement, flashing a toothy and off-center smile of his own. He was always proud to have the honor to welcome a new Knight to the Order.
A moment later, and suddenly (it seemed to the Corellian) refreshments were being served. Kel made an almost immediate line toward the closest server.

She chuckled slightly as the refreshments arrived. Sure, she had distanced herself quite a bit, but that didn't mean she was going to turn down some complementary beverages. She twitched her hand slightly, and one of the glasses of Corellian ale drifted off of its tray and floated over to hand.
No taste like home.
With that in mind, Adria took a long drink and smiled. It had been a while since she had actually let herself relax. Idly, she wondered if she even knew how to anymore..

Now properly equipped with a drink in one hand (Corellian whiskey) and a plate of food in the other, Kel scanned the room, noting both the familiar and unfamiliar faces.
There was one face in particular that stood out to him, attuned as he was to Jedi pilots and his covert project. Not far away, a young woman in an orange flightsuit stood by herself. Well, not quite by herself. She was accompanied by an R4-series astromech. The sight of a droid in the Grand Audience Chamber was an unusual occurrence to the Corellian Jedi Master. It didn't bother him that the girl considered the droid a worthy companion, but he knew there were some in the order who might not have been pleased to see a lowly droid in the most hallowed room of the Yavin Praxeum.
Stepping over to her, the green-robed Jedi smiled at Adria. "What do you fly?"

"XJ9."
She smirked; pilots knew their own when they saw 'em. "And not just a regular, standard-issue one. Modified her myself. Faster, bit of a kick to 'er."
She stepped forward, extending her hand to the green-robed Jedi.
"Adria Doran." Lieutenant, CorSec.
A grin spread across her face.. Old habits died hard, even mentally. "And this here is Seer."

Kel's grin grew larger, and more lopsided, and there was a look of recognition in his eyes. He knew the XJ9, alright. He'd even flown a stock model a few times, back in the old days when anyone who was anyone in the galaxy was competing to see who could own the most starfighters and capital ships. But those had been the silly days of his youth, and he was more frugal now. His own starfighter of choice (when he wasn't flying his custom YT-2400 light freighter) was the Corellian Tracer that the Jedi of Corellia had designed for the CDF.
"Kel'Al Raganella." He replied, taking the offered hand and shaking it firmly. "Corellian Tracer."
The Jedi Master glanced down at Seer. "My astromech, Sev, is down in the hangars." The Corellian winked, and he lowered his voice. "Sev is always curious about all the wrong things. If I brought him up here, he'd probably set the carpet on fire, or get into some other equally awkward mischief."

Realizing that i would prefer to be moving about rather than fidgeting in one place. and realizing that master Jade had promised me a small audience to state my LATEST appeal to her before she left to return to Corellia, i elected to roam about the room to chat with other people, just peaking in. but when i neared Adria and Kel’al something peaked my interest. the talk of straighter shop. one of the downfalls of owing a business as a means to support myself and not rely on any stipend from the jedi order came with curiosity and a child like nature any time new ships came out. It wasn’t that i viewed myself as greedy, but rather i wanted to know how every bit of tech worked, and how pressing the cogs together made the difference between a turning pile of smoldering cogs, and the sleakest ship that i could build. taking a calm breath in a pushed toward the trio
“Mind if i join the conversation?”

her eyes lit up at the mention of the Corellian Tracer.
"Ooooh, a Tracer? I'd heard about those, but I've never gotten to see one in action."
Seer tweeted up at Kel'Al, saying that he should have brought Sev up anyway: mischief was always good for a laugh.
"Corellian, then? How are things back there? I haven't been home in a while."
She nodded in acknowledgement to the newcomer, taking a step to the side to allow for his entrance, then held out her hand. "Not at all. Lieutenant Adria Doran, CorSec."
Seer twirled his head and chirped in greeting as well..

Alexis tucked the small gifts Diamonte had presented her with into her belt pouches and picked up at glass of deep amber Corellian Ale.
"To you, Dav, and all the others who should have been here," she whispered before draining the glass and setting it down on a nearby table. As the official part of the ceremony was over and it was time to mingle she headed over towards Adria and Master Raganella. Even from where she was she could tell that Adria was talking about her x-wing from the way her face had lighted up. And that was a topic that Alexis herself was deeply passionate about. She loved her NineDee and her astromech. In a way, they were her link to Dav. And she hoped Adria would consider becoming part of the new Jedi fighter squadron: Phoenix.
"It's good to see you up and about, Adria," she greeted the other woman, with a slight bow to Kel'Al, "Master Raganella. Thank you for coming. How are things with the Corellian Academy?"

Evidently we are to be kept alert," she replied. "If you ever find that Coruscant and the Council of First Knowledge are not enough for you, I would be surprised if you were not welcome to make Yavin IV a base for your future operations within the realm of the Jedi Order." It was a subtle invitation that hinted at more to come, but only time would tell in this case.
Jade always had plans and contingency plans. She had too much experience to just let things be without getting involved in one fashion or another.

As i approached the duo Adria extended hand, one i immediately shook and smiled at her , but before i could utter a word in, Her droid spoke up. my comprehension kicked in and it was as if i could hear the droid speak basic
hearing the speak i loosed my hand from the grip and knelt down so that i was at optical receiver level on the droid, placing the hand that shook Adria’s on the right leg of the droid, speaking my response in Droid speak to show respect for the droid. unless Adria or Kel understood the language, it would just sound like blips and clicks to them.
Standing back up my demeanor changed to a self conscious one. it was not that i did not respect the office i held, but It felt to me like too much left brained busy work. I didn’t have pride in my station because i felt it was my “Duty” to fill the position until someone more qualified came in.
“Welcome back to Yavin, Lt. Doran. I am Diamonte Tuhlute, Jedi Artisan and the …err… interim Headmaster of the Yavin Praxeum.”
trying to find an out, i tried to circle the conversation to what drew me toward the group
“and if i may join in, As of right now, I am working on some of my on designs, as they provide a much needed right brain stimulation. I have a rebuilt and redesigned Delta-7 that i am trying to rebuild into a beta model since the one my partners had built for me is currently Lost in space with Master Matango… and there is this other project, not even sure if it will take into a build. I have been studying the evolution of the X-wing line, and just allowing myself freedom to experiment with some X-wing models…”
I smiled as Alexis approached the group, unaware if anything i had just said would have triggered something in her

Rawkill gave a short bow to Jade as she made her offer to him with regards to making Yavin IV a home to his future operations. Although he already planned to take up residency on Talus, it was always good to have a backup plan =Jedi Master Rawkill= The offer is kindly appreciated, and perhaps one day I will. At any rate, I had best be off, It was a pleasure having the chance to catch up again... Rawkill then bowed once more, before making his way out of the Grand Audience Chamber towards where Goran's Forge was located

her eyes lit up at the mention of the Corellian Tracer.
"Ooooh, a Tracer? I'd heard about those, but I've never gotten to see one in action."
Seer tweeted up at Kel'Al, saying that he should have brought Sev up anyway: mischief was always good for a laugh.
"Corellian, then? How are things back there? I haven't been home in a while." Kel laughed, and shook his head slowly at the droid's comment. "Clearly, you have never seen mischief like Sev's mischief." He smiled down at the droid. "If he were up here, we would not be laughing, because it would take us a week to repair the damage." This was hyperbole, but only just barely. Sev's paint closet adventure in the hangar at the Corellian Academy was the stuff of legend, and the flight crews had never let Kel'Al hear the end of it. Someday the droid's clumsy streak was going to end catastrophically, but until then, his private reign of terror would evidently continue whenever he left the cockpit of his master's starfighter. His attention returning to Adria as she spoke of home, a slightly wistful look entered the Jedi Master's eyes. "Things have been quiet ever since we repelled the Sith attack last year, but our enemy is still out there, so we must be vigilant." He paused, considering whether to specifically mention Seleevan Khar by name, but decided against it. His request for vigilance and information had not been made to the entire Jedi Order yet, but the High Council and his close friends were aware of his concerns. That was enough for now. "I haven't been home very much in the past few years myself, so I only know about the major events." As the official part of the ceremony was over and it was time to mingle she headed over towards Adria and Master Raganella. Even from where she was she could tell that Adria was talking about her x-wing from the way her face had lighted up. And that was a topic that Alexis herself was deeply passionate about. She loved her NineDee and her astromech. In a way, they were her link to Dav. And she hoped Adria would consider becoming part of the new Jedi fighter squadron: Phoenix."It's good to see you up and about, Adria," she greeted the other woman, with a slight bow to Kel'Al, "Master Raganella. Thank you for coming. How are things with the Corellian Academy?" Master Raganella returned the bow solemnly. "Congratulations, Knight Karidian." He replied, trying out her new title to see how it sounded. It sounded awesome. "It was my pleasure. Knighting ceremonies always energize my soul and remind me that I'm part of something much larger than one Jedi or one Academy or one lifetime." He let that philosophical comment hang in the air for a moment before continuing. "Everything is quite well at the Academy, at least, last I heard. Master Jade would know best, as I haven't been home much of late. We are a little short on instructors perhaps, but that is nothing new. Our numbers ebb and flow, and they will increase again." “ and if i may join in, As of right now, I am working on some of my on designs, as they provide a much needed right brain stimulation. I have a rebuilt and redesigned Delta-7 that i am trying to rebuild into a beta model since the one my partners had built for me is currently Lost in space with Master Matango… and there is this other project, not even sure if it will take into a build. I have been studying the evolution of the X-wing line, and just allowing myself freedom to experiment with some X-wing models…” It really seemed that the Force was guiding every action and conversation today. It was as if a curtain was being pulled back on a more active realm of Jedi pilots and starfighter junkies than he had realized existed. On his previous visit to Yavin, there had not been so much activity or interest in his project, and he had moved on, carrying his dream to other Jedi groups. That was not to say that he had rejected Yavin. Not at all. He knew Dragon squadron was a worthwhile ally for his goals. But he had not formed the same connections. And that, he supposed, was because the time was not right. The Force wanted him back on Corellia, so that he could assist the Sand Panthers in their time of need. Now, with that incubation period complete, he was ready for the next phase."It's good to see you again, Master Tuhlute. And you don't waste any time getting to business, do you? I like that." Kel's blue eyes twinkled as he extended a hand to the interim Headmaster of the Yavin Praxeum. "Perhaps you can show me around your shop after we are done here? I would love to see what you are building. I have some experience with ship design myself, through my connections to the Corellian Engineering Corporation, although I did not do the fabrication myself." Some of his jovial tone had waned as Diamonte mentioned Master Matango. Ade was lost? He'd missed that update. "And what happened to Master Matango? I have been off the grid for months. It seems I missed something."

I smiled and shook Kel’s hand. in the back of my mind I considered a Pound hug… but since I had only met Master Raganella once prior… that did not seem like an appropriate action. a smirk grazed over my face as the master asked to see my “workshop”…“ I am afraid to say that I don’t have a proper Workshoppe from which I am operating. My work as the Headmaster is so left brained and dominant that I usually do not have the time to devote days to proper projects… otherwise a few things like the new Delta starfighter and my revised plans for a Jedi Holonet would be presentable and a session of the College of masters would have been convened by now. … however whenever I get any amount of time to myself, I am Down in the classroom nearest the Tech bay… I have dubbed that one “mine” at the moment since it is the one with a functional crystal forge… and I am forging out jigsaw pieces of hull material, and then taking them up to the most isolated corner, which I have also squatted on to fit them on the two models… actually, I think I can actually show test models of the project to you.” Closing my eyes, I began to type out code into thin air, and from my chambers, two little Miniature prototypes took off. racing each other. to anyone observing, the Red starfighter was faster, while the blue was more agile when it came to course adjustments. as they entered I opened my eyes, drawing the star fighters toward my position. as they approached the blue one landed in my open cyber right hand while the red one tried to get Kel’al to let it do the same in his palm.“ Two models… both scale models of the latest in project ‘D-eta’ ... both of the models are remote controllable. the red one, project name ‘Aka-sei’ is the Beta stage that I hope introduce to the order as a standard model starfighter any new jedi can use. the Blue, project name ‘Ao-sei’ is my personal modified Variant Alpha stage. I use it as a testing grounds to see what features may work before I install them on the Aka-sei. and I have Fabricated versions of these starfighters ready for both of them in the hangar, if you would like, you could borrow aka-sei if you can give it some field tests… I need more field data on the starfighters before I can present them to the college of masters...
... the other project, what i have dubbed project 'Phoen-X'... i haven't started the fabrication process on it yet.”
I paused as Kel asked about Adi.
“The status of Master Matango is dire condition, with myself less likely to believe he is still out there than anyone else in the order. Adi was a test participant in Project: Starnet. an Alpha stage test program that would help me prepare my recommended model for a private order wide Jedi Holonet…Since any notes Master Man’sell left behind for a Jedi holonet were encrypted and corrupted when he did not log in on a regular interval.” I muttered the last bit under my breath “ Starnet is designed to be nearly untraceable. besides encryptions, the files are not actively transmitted on a single spectrum similar to Holonet prime. instead it Subnets the files onto obscured and low trafficked articles on Holonet Prime. any user can track other users based on the data encrypted on these subnet transmissions. in the case of Master Matango, because the primary use of his chip was to transmit field logs, I locked the chips transmitter so that any transmission would include his location. last I saw him was after the first assembly of the college of masters when he and the prototype D-eta left with the RDMC contingent to aid in the Battle of Kuat. the ship did not see battle during that skirmish, however there was activation of the ship and as soon as it was clear of the Fray hit Warp toward unknown region. a week after his ship exited the chip ceased transmitting. that suggests one of a number of possible outcomes, including, he junked the ship to avoid tracking, the transmitter was deactivated either by combat or sabotage… or Master Matango was Killed in action. …”
I wore a stone face that did not betray emotions. I knew odds…

"It's good to be up and about and among others, Jedi Knight," she replied to Alexis. She wasn't lying: though she had spent much of her time since the Siege in relative isolation, it was a welcome change of pace to have people around her. She realized now that she had missed socializing, though part of her was afraid to form any new attachments. her attachments always seemed to get severed..
Seer chittered in amusement at Diamonte's statement, while Adria's green eyes sparkled and she simply raised an eyebrow. Oh, she could understand him alright. But she wasn't denying that what he had said to her astromech was true.. Quite the opposite, in fact.
She smiled as he formally introduced himself, her eyes lighting up briefly when he mentioned "personal projects" on new X-Wing models. She took note of Kel'Al's statement that Sev's mischief seemed to be some sort of supreme mischief, and dearly hoped that Seer wasn't going to take that as a personal challenge. Unfortunately for her foreseeable future, the droid's dome rotated slightly just the right amount for her to know that he had done just that, and she sighed softly. So much for peaceful nights coming up...
The conversation continued, with Kel continuing to Alexis about Knighting ceremonies, and she again found it at the forefront of her mind that she had never formally been Knighted at all. A smile briefly tugged at the corner of her lips, but there was no joy in it. She also noted that he had mentioned they were short on instructors, and for a short moment she considered offering to help, before she realized that the only thing she would be able to properly teach would be how to be a fighter jockey.
And then Diamonte's fighter models showed up, and she started beaming. And to top it all off? He uttered the magic words.
"Field tests."
She stared longingly at the flying models as he spoke; though she had never known Master Matango, she had heard the name pop up before, and she was not going to be disrespectful by interrupting. As soon as he was done speaking, though, she couldn't help herself.
"I wouldn't mind aiding in the field tests. Force knows I don't belong down here."
She wasn't referring to being in the Praxeum, she was talking about standing on two feet, being weighed down by gravity instead of up in the air, up in the void between worlds, her entire perspective governed by the angle of a control stick and the positioning of a throttle.
But then, she knew that everyone present would know exactly what she meant.

Grinning as the little prototypes flew into sight, Kel'Al extended his left hand, palm upward, and allowed the small, remote-controlled red craft to land gently. He stared at the craft intently, noticing the attention to detail, and tested the point of the arrowhead-shaped fighter with his right index finger. It was quite sharp. "Well, isn't she a pretty one."
A blue glow extended from Kel's hand, and the scale model floated from his hand up to eye level, then began to rotate slowly until it had completed a full circle along each of the three axes. He studied the leading edges carefully, trying to call to mind the surface modelling data from CEC's simulations all those years ago. The extra cutout along each side differentiated Tuhlute's design from the Corellian Runner, and he wasn't sure what the effect was, but he could guess: it was going to be a very fast ship.
"I personally have always preferred a robust attack fighter like the X-wing over the sleek lines and extra maneuverability of an interceptor, but this design might convince me to make the switch." The Corellian Jedi's grinned deepened, taking on its characteristic crook, and he called the model back to his left hand as he chose his next words carefully. None of those present, with the possible exception of Tuhlute, knew of his secret project yet. But they were exactly the portion of the Jedi Order whom he wanted to help him, whether it be as members themselves, or just as contacts and advisers and friends. "At the very least, I would like to acquire a few for the special operation squadron that I've been putting together." Hefting the model, he felt it's weight.
The news on Master Matango was sobering. Kel was never one to abandon a Jedi as lost, and preferred to assume Adi had survived his misadventure, but the situation sounded dire, just as Master Tuhlute had warned. "That is indeed most unfortunate. It seems that Kuat was a disaster on many fronts." His solemn eyes sharpened with determination. "Were you able to pull any coordinates from that final week of data?" He sighed, perplexed to hear such bad news about his old friend.
His attention shifted back to the starfighters as Lt. Doran blurted out her enthusiasm for the field tests. "Master Tuhlute, I hope you have more than one of each model fabricated. Otherwise, we'll have to throw chance cubes to see who gets to go first."

“The last amount of Data I was able to pull off of the chip was it was transmitting from the Unknown region. beyond Lehon… the last report was hyperdrive warming up for a jump in the direction of Lwhekk… and then nothing, not even a mid-flight transmission to signal successful jump. … and with the sector of space he is in, the Sat relays are few and far between.”
switching my mind from talking about Kateki to discussing my own creation, my brow furrowed… I had heard that there were some squadrons attempting to form. Alexis here on yavin doing something new, the sand panthers trying to reform…. perhaps a third, but I had not heard of it.
“Everyone has their own preferences, it speaks volumes to your character that you would prefer a ship that can engage and win conflicts with Superior Weapons And Tactics as opposed to simply being able to use speed and trickery to get the upper hand. …”
I smiled that sight unseen the Correlian master wanted to order a number of my craft. the smile turned wibbly when Adria also expressed interest in flight testing the ships… it wasn’t that I didn’t know the pilot’s credentials, but rather I wasn’t sure on how to maintain both ships.
“… alas, I only have the two. I have a group willing to fabricate for me on an under the table basis… but considering the first model is in parts unknown, and the owners position in the reforming Mandalorian Alliance, It has been a hard time to get commitments for fabrication. …if only YFE hadn’t folded, am I right?…”
I paused, a twinkle in my eye. the two fighters rose from their landed positions and flew around for a moment. when they had finished circling the group ‘Ao-sei’ landed in Kel’s hand while ‘Aka-sei’ attempted to land in Adria’s. as I spoke, I felt like the wise grandfather, explaining why each child got the present they did… even though one of the “children” was older than I was.
“however, there is a reason many jedi refer to me as the foremost expert when it comes to the creation of tech. Ms. Doran I believe in this scenario, you would be a better fit with Aka-sei faster engines, good hyperspace rating… weapons could use a touch up… and Master Raganella, if you want a special ops fighter, I would recommend Ao-Sei. it isn’t as fast as its younger sibling, but that is due to me testing out a new and lighter maneuvering engine as the main. it should allow for more flexibility and of course, I included more weapons capabilities. as for me, I suppose my only course of action is to take the data I have from your ships to fabricate a new model for myself… ah, woe is the life of the dreamer with the touch to drag his ideas from the clouds down to reality.”
the last bit went on I could feel myself turn towards authoritarian in nature from the jovial ‘woe is me’ quote I just finished.
“now please listen up. you are free to modify the ships as you need to fit your particular preferences, but since these are still prototypes, I must insist you keep records of EVERY adjustment you make to these star fighters down to changing the coolant, to a one-eighth turn of a sprocket. in addition, I must insist upon a personal inspection of the crafts every 2 months. whether in person or by holodroid. If I go to Kuat and expect to buy permissions to build a new model of starfighter that draws inspiration from the Delta and Eta star fighters of the clone wars, all my evidence will need to be in order. are my terms acceptable?”

Kel's brow furrowed as his fellow Jedi clarified the bad news about Adi. "May I have a copy of the flight path data? I know someone who might be able to find Master Matango."
In reality the Corellian's intentions were to gather a number of types of craft, so that he could chose the best starfighter for each mission, and so that he could cross-train his pilots until they were comfortable flying anything they might find while out in the field. It was no different than infantry soldiers having a number of different kits and uniforms for differing terrains between planets and among habitats. As the other scale model came to rest in his hand, he stared at it, studying the intricacies of the prototype to find how it differed from its sibling.
"If fabrication becomes an issue, I have contacts with the Corellian Engineering Company that would gladly assist you." Kel'Al offered. He had to smile at Diamonte's wistful, dreaming comments. It was good to see someone among the Jedi who was so passionate about his craft. But as the man's tone hardened slightly, the Jedi Master hesitated. "I do not need to take the fighter with me today, if it would be more convenient for me to wait until you are truly ready. I do not mean to rush your creative process."
