*It was so painfully obvious, Nathan could feel its impact physically. In his stomach building up like acid reflux, in his chest like a hallow absence, and in his head digging in like a sharp spike twisting 'round and 'round. He didn't want to admit it, but the timing was too perfect, and deep down Nathan knew it to be true.*
"I... I did this. I did this to myself."
*Saying it out loud did not help at all. In fact, in combination with the lack of pheromones keeping the depression at bay, it brought Nathan down to a whole new low. Only this time there was a certainty that prevented his subconscious from dissociating him from the reality of it. There was no hiding now, no protection, no defense.*
*Surprising himself, and probably the others, Nathan let out a sudden wretched sob and leaned forward, burying his face in his hands, his whole body shaking with grief.*
*He nodded slowly in response to Dr. Rosenfield admitting he couldn't do anything more and had to leave. He had figured as much anyway. A secular physician had no skills for something like this. Nathan needed an expert Jedi Master Healer, someone who knew the intricacies of a situation like this. Of course, who knew what the odds were off that in a post-Force-jihad world? Nathan was royally kriffed, or at least so it seemed to his depressed emotional state.*
*He then looked up at Alexis, his cheeks glistening with shamed tears, and choked out the pitiful words he needed to say.*
"I... I think I need... is there a room for me? A place I can stay? I need to get out of here... a place I can be alone for a while..."

"Good luck to you, Master Jedi. Come and see me if you require any other services."
With that, Levi stuck his hands in his lab coat and left the Master and his padawan. Or would Nathan soon be her padawan, if Nathan had to relearn everything he'd ever known? Curious.
The good Doctor paused only a moment to take a com-link for emergency services before stepping out the center's front door- and almost smashing into a delectable clone trooper, off duty no doubt based on the soldier's civilian attire...
"Well hello there," he said with a smile. "What's your name?"

"Thank you...Levi." Alexis replied genuinely. To be sure his manner was off-putting, but he had done a thorough job as far as lay in his power, and perhaps there was more to him than what met the eye.
She didn't say anything to Nathan as he confirmed her original suspicion. It was one thing to know something, but it was another to have it confirmed. And she could tell how Nathan was feeling right now. His emotional turmoil could probably put a whole room of padawans off their appetites, but luckily there wasn't anyone else around right now.
She helped him up, choosing to ignore the tears as acknowledging them would make the situation more painful than it already was. There was a strength in her touch that went beyond her semi-frail appearance, but then not all strength is outwardly manifested.
"Yes, you have a place to stay, Nathan," Alexis answered gently. In the upheaval that had shaken the Praxeum no one had ever re-purposed the Malreaux quarters. "But, are you sure you want to be alone?" Even if he was sure that was what he wanted, would it really be good for him? She knew he needed help, but perhaps right now sleep would be the most beneficial for him, if he was willing to seek it. His body needed rest.

*His own room, a place he belonged to. ... Once.*
*At that moment, however, nothing else sounded better. It was almost an animal instinct, a desire to find a familiar place to hide, to find shelter from the onslaught. Nathan nodded, and slowly withdrew his face from his wet, tear-dripping hands and braced himself to stand up.*
"Yeah... I think it would be best..."
*Trying to regain some of his pride back, Nathan got up on his own and gritted back the dizziness, determined to show he could at least walk back to his room to grieve. Following Alexis, Nathan walked out and headed to his old quarters... after so long ago.*

Constance maintained her lead of the Med Team as they arrived to the Medical Centre, where the Med Team moved Kaytra onto one of the beds before a series of scanners dropped down to perform preliminary diagnostics on Kaytra. Constance stood at a terminal beside the bed as she examined the results and did a visual inspection of some of the damage and injuries that Kaytra had recieved. Although, she was somewhat unsure what Kaytra expected the Jedi to be able to do, since they were operating on a limited staff, and they lacked the facilities that the RDMC boasted to repair her cybernetics =Constance= Welcome to Yavin, I am Jedi Padawan Constance. I'll be acting as your head medic, so tell me what happened? and why did you choose Yavin, of all the places, to come receive treatment? It's not like we are a famous Medical Centre, like the RDMC...

*Kaytra remained still through the entire examining. Her mind began to wonder if she had made the right choice in coming here, but she knew it was tolate to back out now. She turned her gaze to the Padawan when asked how she recieved her injuries and, most important, why she came here.* "I was ambushed by slavers. They had the upper hand, and someone who could stand against me in hand to hand combat. I was left to die on Coruscant." *Her eyes turned from the Jedi for a moment.* "As for why I came here. Guilt, I guess. My mind really wasn't clear when I made the decision, but my gut told me this is where I needed to go. I'm sorry for the things that I have done, both here and Kuat. Maybe the force is just giving me a chance to apologize for the terrible things I've done in my life."

As Kaytra was explaining the situation, Pixar and I were hurriedly walking down the halls, with Pixar giving me Every, Single, Detail of information I had to take care of since my leave, or that I would be responsible for once students began arriving. when we were just outside, I FINALLY got the information on the patient, all I could see was the last name, (and for ashla’s sake, I was glad I couldn’t in about five seconds)
“Ok, Ms. Tatham, what seems to be the problems that brought you here?”
I peered over the top of my data pad, and I could feel anger bubble over
“What in The NamE of BoGaN’s BlACK CHAOS ARE YOU DOING HERE!?!?!”
my hand went to my saber and I prepared my battle stance, but feeling Pixar taking the Form of my grandfather calmed me down. I force pulled the nearest chair and sat down
“You came here to speak… so speak.”
while my demeanor was angry and curt each syllable getting a staccato-ed tone to accommodate, I balanced myself when I saw… an unfamiliar face trying to ease Kaytra’s pain
“Excuse me Padawan… what is your name? I don’t think I have met you yet, wait…. it was in my notes… you are Constance, Right? anyway Ms. Constance, Please do what you can to stabilize our guest’s condition… she will be departing us for a more suitable facility to treat her upon the completion of the dialogue she wants to have.”

Constance made notes about what had happened to Kaytra, along with noting down the damage done to her cybernetics and any physical injuries she had sustained. It was a strange thing for anyone to fly halfway across the galaxy, and expect guilt to magically make certain facilities appear in a place not once ever known for them. Regardless, she would need to look into who her pilot was that brought Kaytra here and question his motivations =Constance= So, you're telling me, your pilot fell for this, not once questioning that he should take you to a medical center? Guilt could have waited till after you were attended to at a proper hospital... Constance was soon interrupted by the arival of Headmaster Tuhlute, who clearly expressed his extreme...displeasure at seeing Kaytra Tatham in the Medical Center. She waited until Diamonte addressed her, asking her to prepare Kaytra for transport to another facility, something she had already been doing since she had noted the cybernetic damage. She gave a short bow to Diamonte =Constance= It is a pleasure to meet you Master Tuhlute, Master Rawkill speaks highly of you. As to Miss. Kaytra's transfer, I was already organizing it, The Five Worlds Medical Center on Selonia will be able to attend to her condition...

*She turned her eyes to Constance.* "I didn't think I was going to live long enough to apologize, so he brought me here. Sadly, though, I stopped dying.* *Her attention turned to Diamonte as he entered the room. She wasn't surprised to see how angry he was, she couldn't blame him.* "I'm not here with GALSAF, if that's what you believe. They think I'm dead after they left me behind on Coruscant. I came here to apologize for what I did here. I know I can't speak for the rest of them, but...I'm sorry." *She turned her gaze to the ceiling.* "When that slaver threw me from that rooftop, I thought I was going to die. As I fell my life flashed before my eyes, and it wasn't pleasant. My parents death, losing most of my physical body, living on the streets, and...joining GALSAF." *Her eyes then turned back to Diamonte.* "I know you wont forgive me, or really don't care. But if I'm going to die, then I want to do it with a clean conscious, and I have a lot to be sorry for."

“So tell me this ms. Tatham…. why did you come here”
My voice wasn’t apathetic, nor was it angry… It was clinical. I heard her explanation of the steps that brought her here… but I didn’t understand if she wanted to try and pay some penance for her actions, or if she hoped that her words would wash her clean. “Answer me, do you truly want absolution from your actions, …or do you just want some nice words so that you may rest more easily once you are healed? I believe I have a funny hat around that I can put on if you desire the latter”

*Kaytra almost had to hide her smile when Diamonte mentioned putting on a funny hat. She kept her eyes locked on his when she spoke.* "Like I said, my mind wasn't exactly clear when I made the decision of coming here. Just hearing some nice words will never put me at ease." *She closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and speaking.* "Yes, I truly do want absolution for what I've done, at least here anyway. For the other places I've wronged, I would need to go there, not everything can be forgiven with just words."

*Kaytra thought for a moment. What could she offer?* "I know that I should go to the RDMC. I am going to need a new means of transport, probably a new disguise. GALSAF thinks I'm dead, I'd rather them believe that, for now anyway." *She paused for a moment before speaking.* "But..the real question is. What do you want from me? How can I prove to you that I really mean what I say. You aren't exactly going to take me on my word, not after our last encounter."

Constance had remained silent as she took notes relating to Kaytra's injuries, since she knew this was not a conversation she should involve herself in. However she did still take note of how Monte reacted to her pesence and what she said, just in case he did accidentally get out of hand and she needed to call Master Rawkill in to intervene. She set the datapad down in a pocket on the side of the bed when she was done recording the data and stepped back from the bed, to continue her observations of the situation. It was in this moment that Master Rawkill arrived to the medical center, strolling in composed and calm, despite having rushed here when he had read the medical file that Constance had just entered into the system. He had arrived early enough to hear the short conversation that had so far transpired between Diamonte and Kaytra, his temprament still remaining casual as he made his presence known with a cough. Whilst it was true that he was short and people often looked down upon him, it also meant they underestimated just how powerful he was until it was too late, and he had them realize their mistake =Jedi Master Rawkill= Frankly, Kaytra, after our last encounter, I should have you cuffed and shipped off to Coruscant to stand trial as a member of the criminal organization known as GALSAF. You are living in luxury, compared to what you deserve, so do not think to request our aide in giving you a new identity, or a new form of transport. GALSAF touted itself as a humanitarian aid organization for the people, and yet where was the aid that all those on Carida needed when the Mandalorians destroyed the planet? Where was the aid needed for the people of Kuat? and what about the Jedi here on Yavin? The RDMC provided more humanitarian aid to the people of Kuat, than GALSAF did when it took the side of those lunitic crusaders who named themselves Mandalorians. You are apart of a personal militia, that says it is for the people, and yet exists only to serve the perverse vision of it's Lord Commander, and the sooner GALSAF is taken down, the better off the people it proclaims to protect will be. You know what you can do to attempt to make up for your mistakes? you can go leave Yavin, and never return. And tell your master, that the next time a ship bearing someone from GALSAF enters orbit, the defence fleet shall fire upon it without prejudice. And should a member of GALSAF make it groundside, I will personally make them a head shorter. I have wasted too much time repairing the damage your people did to this academy already. If Gavin will transport you, inform him you will be travelling to Selonia, the RDMC will be far less welcoming of you than we will, especially since one of their ships was shot down over Kuat when it was carrying civilians to safety. You will find no aid from us, so that you may experience the helplessness that all those you have failed to protect felt.

*Kaytra almost let out a small chuckle when Rawkill mentioned having her suffer.* "I have suffered more then you could possible know." *She then turned her eyes on the Jedi.* "If you believe that I'm going back to GALSAF, then you're wrong. I'm done with them. When I first joined, I believe what he said. Now though, it's just self serving chaos. I've had enough of it, it's not what I signed up for. I regret everything that happened on Kuat. We never should have been there at all, at least in my opinion anyway. I never knew about that RDMC ship that was shot down. Honestly...my mind tries to forget about it, but I wont let it. I want that day to be burned into my mind for as long as I live. So I know exactly who's to blame." *She turned her gaze back to the ceiling.* "Don't worry. I'll leave Yavin for good. I don't want to come back here. But..I'll prove to you that I mean what I say. Even if that means taking the fight to GALSAF." *She paused for a moment before speaking* "I'll find my family. That's the first thing I'll do. My family line came from a long line of pirates, over three-thousand years old. We stopped pirating almost a thousand years ago. Took up asteroid mining and refining. We still have a large fleet to defend ourselves from other pirates. Well...we still raid the occasional Hutt slave ship or spice runner. They haven't touched a Republic ship in almost twelve hundred years." *Her eyes fell on Diamonte.* "I will gather my family, and if they will follow me. Then I will hunt down GALSAF. If we survive the encounter, maybe we cant strike up a deal delivering metal to Yavin or other planets that need it. Possible even other supplies, if they've started up thier large agricultural venture like my uncle wanted to. You may not like me, but the rest of my family never got involved with GALSAF. So, please, don't take it out on them."

I closed my eyes as the drama in this room escalated… Perhaps I should expedite my search to find a replacement Headmaster and try to establish some form of Jedi Safe house upon some desolate world so that I might be removed from this nonsen… no, this was not the thinking that i needed right now… taking a breath in i cleared my thoughts and settled myself in the force…. going so far as to remember the comments of Ander from before he departed. when my head was cleared i let out a single audible breath as i reached a state of peace.
<<Peace…>>
when i felt the room settle in terms of the emotional tenor of the Room, i continued beginning by looking to Kaytra.
“I am afraid that despite the overly harsh tone my Mentor and the Deputy Headmaster, for the most part i agree with his sentiment. Since Yavin is not equipped to be a proper hospital, there is little we can do for you here. I will send a notice of transfer to the hospital on Selonia. they will treat you fully there.
In terms of you rectifying for past actions, I feel we must be better than those we stand against. to that end, ms. Constance, i am requisiting 8 medium strength pain killers for ms. Tatham, to be used only on the flight and any unused pills to be confiscated upon arrival on Selonia. from there i will tell you this. once you leave this world, your authorization to be in this temple… how it ever got approved is beyond me… will be revoked until further notice. I charge you from here out with finding your family, finding a way to rectify for the damage you have done across the galaxy as a member of the Terroristic Group GALSAF. and most importantly, you will find a way to make amends for the lives lost by the Red Dawn Medical Center, Without setting a foot upon the planet Honoghr. when you have done these things, and proven yourself to be an upstanding member of society, you may, might be allowed to return.”
I took a moment to glance back to Master Rawkill… i was sure that as soon as this was done i would get an earful… but i felt we needed to be better than others, better stewards than if GALSAF ran the temple.
“If there are no Questions, ms. Constance, please prepare the patient to be released to Gavin and be escorted off world.”

A quiet figure slipped out of the shadows near the door of the room, someone who had been standing there long enough to hear the last bit of the interchange. She waited until the feeling of the room calmed down, and then interjected quietly.
"Proving the truth of one's words is good, but starting a fight that cannot be won is pointless."
She shifted her flight helmet to rest on her left hip, arm propped over it. She'd obviously just returned from the hangar bay as she was still in her flight suit. Dark hair was loosely tied back, but her eyes shone with a light from within despite the paleness of her skin. She felt sad, having lost more than just her friends recently.
"Being a Jedi is about forgiveness," she added finally, dark gaze flicking from Rawkill, to Diamonte, and finally to Kaytra. She understood that the woman wanted to prove her words, and she approved of that. In fact, she approved of most of what Diamonte had just said, with the exception of encouraging Kaytra to fight a one woman war against GALSAF. If she wanted out, truly, it would be better for her to find her family and stay away from GALSAF for now, work with the Jedi. Time would tell whose side she was really on.

*Kaytra knew she was never coming back to this planet, she also never wanted to. Before she could speak, a voice from the doorway caught her attention. She turned her gaze to the young women standing by the door. Kaytra had seen her before and knew her by name, but not her personally. In her life, Kaytra had started a lot of pointless fights, she knew this well. Right now though, trying to prove the truth in her words was seeming like a pointless fight with ones who didn't want to except them. She studied the women for a second before speaking.* "I'll do what is necessary to prove that what I say is true. First though...I need to repair my cybernetics." *She looked down at her left forearm at the hole that had been carved into it. In a way she was lucky, most of the damage people did to her only needed replaced with mechanical parts, not time to heal.*

I shook my head. the sleep was getting to me and i needed to rest even for a moment. on my HUD a red light blinked… and error in my own forearm. critical at that.
“Honestly this has gone on for long enough… there is no proof that your family is miners as you stated and not slavers, and staying up several days worth of travel plus time in here… I need mental rest to re-establish myself. Farewell ms. Tatham, i do not look forward to crossing paths again."
i force pulled a large vial of high strength pain killers and headed toward my chambers.

Alexis shrugged, not sure what to make of the emotional undercurrents in the room right now. Diamonte left, and as he did so, she looked up and met Kaytra's gaze with eyes decades too old for one as young as herself, but then she had the experiences of many lifetimes piled into her memory. She didn't say anything. Cybernetics weren't really her thing. She guessed it was not at all like rewiring the sensor cone of her x-wing.
