TRAINING ROOM TWO
A large stone-floored room adaptable for different training scenarios. Basic training equipment and a weapons rack are the permanent features of the room, stored in lockers near the main door. Various different configurations are interchanged within the room depending on needs, with options including a two-level dueling ring, large stones for telekinetic training, and a series of differing height columns and swing-bars for agility training frequently being seen. The room is also sometimes left as any empty, open space. There is a large viewing section suspended from the ceiling similar to the one in Training Room One, that is accessible from Level Three. It runs around two of the four walls. Entrance to the room can be gained through one of two doors, with matching doors leading to the viewing section on the level above.
OTHER TRAINING FACILITIES
Surrounding the main two training rooms are a series of smaller rooms used for Jedi tutelage. Among these rooms are bare two person training rooms, moderate sized classrooms with front facing desks and holographic displays, a small gymnasium, and a room containing Starfighter simulator pods.

The Mandalorians have brought war to the Galaxy once more. Under the leadership of Mand'alor ASHRAH INTALBO, and his General CORR VHETT, they have begun a campaign against the Galaxy's Force Users. The Jedi World of Yavin IV was the first hit, a strike at one of the greatest Jedi strongholds. The Mandalorians took YAVIN STATION, the mighty orbital defence platform, thanks to a brilliant infiltration strategy by DUKE AUSTRALIS, and under the order of Jedi Master DAV MAN'SELL, the Jedi forces retreated from orbit. With the Jedi fleets scattered, the Mandalorians took their attack to the surface.
However, the Jedi defences were not so easily overcome. With starfighter cover lead by Jedi Master JAGO PULASTRA, and ground defences overseen by Jedi Knight ADI MATANGO and Falleen strategist TZA'UAX, the Jedi were able to force the Mandalorians to withdraw to orbit. However, the defence is not without sacrifice - redeemed former Dark Sider DACE CONCORDIA, at the beginning of his path to reclaim the mantle of Jedi, was slain by the Mand'alor in bloody, vicious combat.
Now the Mandalorians are settling in for a long siege on the Praxeum, blockading the planet and seeking constantly to take out the shield generator and ion cannons that form the backbone of the Praxeum's defence. Dav, Jago, and the other resident Jedi of Yavin lead the hard fought and desperate defence, whilst Adi, working with Master WILL SON'TIR and Jedi Knight DIAMONTE TUHLUTE, and the Jedi Watchmen, seeks to prepare the Jedi, and the worlds of the Republic, for the inevitable assault to come.... THE SIEGE Day One The Jedi Praxeum had seen its share of combat. Ever since the Great Temple had been built, five millennia earlier, it had been the site of many a battle: the culmination of the Exar Kun war, which scarred the planet for centuries to come; the infamous Battle of Yavin, when the Death Star met its end; and after the Praxeum's founding, so many more, from the battle against the spirit of Exar Kun, and the campaign by Natasi Daala, and the attack launched by Desaan, to the Shadow Academy, and the Yuuzhan Vong war, and the forces of the Dread Lord Havok, and the Corruption.
The Jedi Praxeum was no stranger to conflict and war. Nonetheless, the Mandalorian assault had tested the Jedi defenders greatly, and, no doubt, greater challenges still faced the besieged Academy. The Great Temple - twice devastated, twice rebuilt - was already carrying wounds of the Mandalorian aggression, with at least one hole blown in its walls and pock-and-burn marks throughout the Praxeum.
Training Room Two had become a makeshift morgue, the bodies of the dead laid out in simple rows, in simple body bags, waiting for the opportunity to dispose of them. After the first night of fighting, already the bodies lay in the room by the dozen. How many more would join them remained to be seen, but one thing was certain; Training Room Two was going to be a place of some sorrow for some time to come....

After the start of the invasion, there had been little time for training. A number of medical staff had moved into the area and began setting up a makeshift morgue. It was a rather large area for storing the bodies of the fallen defenders, but they had to be cared for until they could be dealt with in the proper manner..
The climate control program of the training area suited this new role perfectly. The training room was set to a low temperature to better suit it's new function. Many gurneys had been brought in and put into separate areas so the defenders ID tags could be collected for identification purposes. A number of porters were recruited from the various beings who lived and worked within the temple. Each ferried any of the deceased into the training room and took them over for processing..
A short while after entering the temple, Zuli and Betas Ten and Eight entered the training area. The soldiers carried their fallen comrade whilst Zuli carried the body of Dace. They walked over to the processing area and laid the bodies out on the gurneys..
The trio stepped back, allowing the staff to get to work. Zuli took a deep breath and sighed quietly in disappointment..
"Even after spending so much of my life in conflict, it never gets easier to see friends pass on from this life into The Force.." He said, folding an armored arm over the other in front of his chest.
The two soldiers seemed to nod their heads in synchronicity, silently acknowledging the huge Jedi's words. They sharply stood to attention, saluting the Jedi Master and their fallen friends in turn, then about faced and proceeded out of the training room. They left Zuli alone in silent contemplation..

~Day 2 - Morning hours~
*It was a short climb from the makeshift medical center in the lowest levels to the training areas and simulators on level two. It was deathly quiet here, save for the echoing thunder and cannon against their shields. The training rooms were deserted. All available equipment and supplies that were not bolted down had been transported elsewhere, where they might do some good for the defenses. ...Like ants scurrying deeper with their meager belongings to escape the torrential rain outside.
She had left Chiala behind with the stressed doctor and the injured. It was fortunate timing that the Balosar had chosen now, after years of successful smuggling, to get clumsy and be caught with a king's ransom of spice. Even more fortunate that Lita had not ventured far on her patrol, knowing her focus was no longer on the ground, and allowing her to spot the pale child digging desperately in the mud. Those narcotics could bring some mercy to those warriors whom would otherwise suffer for lack of medical supplies.
That initial attack had taken out so many of the Jedi and drained the medical staff of their resources even before morning of the first day. With the blockade keeping them prisoner on their own moon, they were quickly running out of time.
Which was why, the Zabrak reminded herself, that she was here instead of out on the battlefield. More pilots were needed. Someone had to be able to keep up with Jago Pulastra. She hissed through her teeth. Well, why not her? She knew how to push him, how to pull him back, knew his next move almost before he did, knew how he saw the galaxy and how very different that view was from her own. Compared to that, learning how to fly one of these tiny ships was the easy part.
Lita studied the simulator for a moment before finding the means in which to power it on. The boxy, not-at-all-like-a-starfighter compartment flickered to life, lighting the dark room in a blue neon haze. She climbed inside of the artificial cockpit. At least within, it seemed a fairly accurate replica of a standard X-Wing from the pilot's perspective.
Once she had familiarized herself with the controls, take-off was simple. It was a far easier beast to control than the Firespray. Responsive and agile, but...predictable maneuvers. She would have to think outside of the typical in order to become unpredictable. Targeting controls were all but useless. She would rather trust her own senses. Unfortunately, she couldn't sense anything from a holoprojection and digital program in which everything was already predetermined. There was no life and death, here.
She struck her fist against the non-functional control panel in frustration, her teeth clenched tightly together on a growl. What she really wanted was a good fight, not to be stuck in this box playing a child's game.*

As luck would have it, a fight, good or otherwise, was exactly what Lita would get. With a dark expression, and a slight slump to his shoulders as if the weight of the Gas Giant above weighed upon them, Dav Man'Sell stepped into the simulator rooms. He had just come from the War Room, as he definitively now thought of it, and the conversation with the Mandalorian Commander.
He thought he understood Mand'alor Intalbo. And now he understood Corr Vhett, as he imagined Corr Vhett now understood him. The understanding would grant him a tactical boon, yes, but it none the less carried with it dark and grave misgivings.
There would be no peaceful resolution here, not any time soon. The siege, and the wider war it had, no doubt, initiated, would be fought, perhaps until the bitter end. They had many long, hard battles ahead, and the warriors, the soldiers, they would have their day before the diplomats could have theirs. He'd hoped for a peaceful ending. But he was ready for a battle, any battle. He was the Battlemaster, and that was what he did.
But not even Luke Skywalker can win a war alone.
If the battles to come were to be won, he needed the support of his friends, his colleagues. And above all, he needed people like him. People for whom the battlefield was a second home. People for whom combat, the fight, the art of war, was second nature. People who could become the mightiest champions of the Light.
People like Lita Trykk.
Perhaps that's where her destiny lays.
He didn't have the luxury of musing on it. He needed her help, and it wasn't the part of Lita that might yet bask in the light that would make the difference to his current task. It was the part of her that knew how to walk in the shadows, the part that knew how to stalk prey, how to remain hidden, unseen, until the moment to strike had come, whose help he sought.
It was simple enough, now that he was in the simulator room, to identify which of the pods she was in. Only one was occupied, one of the X-Wing trainers, and it was alive with the unique energies, the passions and power, the internal conflict of the Iridonian. He went straight to the main control booth, patched a comm line into the pod, and slipped on the headset.
Control to Sim Lead. End engagement and return to base. Your assistance is required elsewhere.

*The comm cracked to life, and Man'Sell's voice had her hesitating a split second too long. She knew she was dead before the enemy fighter's laser cannons lit up her display and everything went black. She pinched the bridge of her nose between her thumb and forefinger, replaying the last seconds of the program in her mind.
Her fighter had been in a pursuit curve, covering the lead. If she had throttled back and banked sharply to her right, she would have avoided that kill shot cleanly, but would have both missed her target and left her partner's flank wide open for attack. With the loss in speed, she would not have been able to recover in time to get to him.
No, what she should have done was burned her thrusters, boosted her speed instead to overshoot her partner's fighter and barrel roll behind the bandit closing in on them, taking advantage of the tighter turn capabilities of the X-Wing. It would have put her right back in the correct position to cover her leader, and to target lock on the troublesome enemy tail.
Would she have been able to do it quickly enough to get back to her lead in time? That moment of uncertainty would cost her their lives, but so would making the wrong move. She disengaged from the simulator controls, powering down the pod and climbed out of the artificial cockpit.
Master Man'Sell stood at the primary controls. Her brow furrowed to see the expression on his face. She didn't guess it was good news that would have him pulling her off of the training deck, but this was the first she'd seen him really shaken during these past few days. Shaken, but with a hardness to his jaw and intention to act in the set of his shoulders. Lita could respect that.
She stood in front of him and folded her arms, her head tilted back slightly to keep eye-contact with the taller human.*
"I take it this has nothing to do with our...meeting in the corridor earlier."
*The Jedi's gaze didn't waver. No, not Jago then. Surely she would have sensed it if something had- She forced the thought from her mind.*
"What is the situation?"

He sensed her frustration as she climbed out of the pod. Clearly, familiarising herself with the fighter, and getting herself into a pilot's state of mind, was not going as well as she hoped - or, perhaps, expected - it to. As she came before him, though, he could see that she had cast that frustration aside, and was focused on him. Her eyes, so sharp, so attentive, seemed to study him, and know the truth of his heart, heavy as it was. And as she spoke, seeking that personal reassurance, he knew a momentary truth of hers. His gaze did not waver; and she seemed to know before he even answered her that Jago was safe.
"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I need your expertise."
He offered her a small, wearied, and somewhat mirthless smile. The intent was there, but his soul found no mirth to share.
"The gun that's been pounding on us all morning... I'm going after it. I want you with me."

"You have me."
*Even she was a bit taken aback by the lack of hesitation, the words uttered before the full implication of them had settled between her horns. In another time, another place, she had growled out different sentiments.
--- I will never fight side-by-side with the Jedi.
...But what would you say to fighting alongside a friend? ---
...Is that what this Jedi Master was to her? She averted her gaze, a low vibration in her throat as a hint of her sharp teeth was exposed behind the scowl. Jeedai deceivers. Only she did not have reason to feel that way any longer, did she? The foundation of that prejudice had been cracked when Man'Sell found records of her first Master, aged but very much alive the day she thought she had killed him in self-defense, and years after until a death of natural causes. All of her perceptions were slipping through her clutching fingers like water. It alarmed the dogmatic Zabrak that she was so quick to do what she had sworn she would never do, as though the Force itself had defied her.
It meant that she had been wrong.
And she hated being wrong.
But being stubbornly wrong to prove her pride was worse. Like the emergence of white surf rolling across bitter waters, the Dark Side briefly crested over her, then sank back into the black depths from which it emerged. She had accepted the change in herself, and moved on.*
"You have me, Dav. Let's get going."

It had been a full month since Goran had first started working at the Yavin IV Jedi Temple, most of his time thus far having been spent between attending to the funeral rights for the fallen Mando's and attending to the proper storage of the left over Beskar. It had been a great boon to his work when they had assigned him a room and forge to work out of, especially when it came to reforging parts so they could be more easily stored in stacks. Goran was finishing up his work for the night, when a message came through on his datapad, requesting his presence in the Hangar Bay for Master Tuhlute's return. He finished shutting the forge down, before pocketing the datapad and making his way from his forge room to the Hangar Bay

It had been a week since Diamonte's return, which had been the only night for which Athos had been busy guiding Gavin Phoenix around for. When the Mando smith had arrived the next morning, Athos was there and waiting to lend a hand, but not before Goran made the Basilisk swear an oath of silence about the projects and techniques they would be using. The following couple days had involved crafting the small scale mock up's, so that there would at least exist a hard copy model of each Project, for when they were crafting the proper armour pieces. Following that, they had been busy, with Diamonte's help, crafting all of the internal systems for Project: Bigman, since there was a good deal of electrical systems that even Goran wasn't sure how to assemble. With the internal systems all completed, all that was left, was for the addition of the armour plates which Goran and Athos would work on alone, allowing Diamonte to go about his normal duties. Like the past week, Goran and Athos both arrived to the Forge Room bright and early, before attending to the usual morning tasks of heating the forge and preparing the equipment for the day ahead. They made a brief visit to the storage vaults, so as to collect a number of pieces of beskar that they would be using to begin the Bigman suit armour. By the time they returned to the room, the Forge was well and truly heated and sitting at a nice regular temperature, that they would adjust to their needs throughout the day. They started off by working several pieces into the shape of the feet; for the soles, they cut larger pieces into shape, whilst the rest of it was through a process of heating the metal plates and hammering them into the shape that was needed. It was no simple task, taking them a good couple hours just to get the feet done, before they attached the plates to the feet of the armour suit, fitting quite snugly into place. The rest of the day was taken up in the forging of the left lower leg armour piece, which consisted of a single barrel shape piece, that has a number of cut-out's done to it, before a more defined shape is given to it. Goran knew it would take them at least another week to get everything done, assuming everything went to plan and there wasn't any delays, like forging a plate the wrong way, or heating a piece too much

As the sun rose on day two of the build, Goran and Athos both arrived to the forge room and started getting the forge heated up again, whilst going over the day's gameplan once more. Due to the complexity of reforging the beskar metal, progress was slow, and they could only make minor progress as far as the overall project was concerned, but the end result product would be well worth the effort they were putting in. Once the forge was heated up, they started on the right lower leg armour piece, making the appropriate cut outs, before heating the metal and giving it the more defined shape. Once that was attached, they moved on to the thigh/upper leg pieces, cutting out the various area's, and heating the metal to mold the metal into the correct shape. With that, the legs were now completed and armour up, meaning they were now a quarter of the way completed, leaving the lower torso, arms, and upper torso and head to be made

As the third day began, It was no different to the previous two days as Goran and Athos prepped the forge for another day of work, whilst reviewing the part designs for the day, which made up the Lower Torso. It was composed of three armour plates, which wrapped around the lower torso to form a crucible type shape that would have gaps to allow the hip joints to connect to the legs. Once the forge reached the right temperature, Goran and Athos began their work of heating and shaping the different plates of armour, giving them the curve that was required, before making a series of different cuts for ventilation and where the plates interlocked. By the time they were finished shaping it all and attaching it into place, the sun had long ago set beyond the horizon, before they shut the forge down for another day

It was the fourth day of the build, and neither Goran, nor Athos, showed any signs of slowing down as they went about the usual morning routine of preparing the equipment for the days work ahead of them. They began the day like any other as they started off by shaping the various pieces for the hands, which consisted mostly of small interconnected pieces, which they were able to get finished fairly quickly. With that out of the way, the pair moved onto crating the forearms, which had panels that could be retracted into the armour to reveal the attachment ports, which would later be fitted with what ever Master Rawkill wanted added. They finished the day off with the upper arm armour, which was slightly less labor intensive then the forearms. They finished fitting the arm armour onto the frame not long before the dinner bell rang, simultaneously signalling that they were three quarters of the way done with the Project: Bigman

The fifth, and final day, of construction of Project: Bigman was upon Goran and Athos before either of them could really believe, with the pair having powered through the last four days, forging armour piece after armour piece. They made short work of preparing everything, before they got back to business and started reforging several plates to cover the upper torso, which included cutting a number of pieces to size and bending them into shape. It was about lunch time when they were fitting the torso pieces onto the suit, before taking a short break, so as to come back refreshed and ready to finish the project off. It was about a half hour later when they both returned, and started on the several pieces for the head, which consisted of a t-shaped visor helmet, along with several pieces of armour-weave. It took them the rest of the day to get all the pieces into shape and connected together, before finally fitting them onto the suit, completing all the work on Project: Bigman. They celebrated by opening a bottle of Champagne, and having a drink each, after having cleaned up the forge room and shutting down the forge itself

Having taken a days rest since finishing Project: Bigman, Goran and Athos returned to work in the Forge Room, but this time with the added assistance of Constance, who was quite skilled in armourweave clothes making. Thankfully most of the gadgetry that was to be incorporated into Project: Go had already been put together by Diamonte when he had helped put together the inner workings of Project: Bigman. All that was left for the team, was to construct the armour plates and the robes themselves. Goran and Athos attended to reforging several plates of Beskar to suit Diamonte, whilst Constance started manipulating several different pieces of armourweave that she would sew together to create the robes

=The time in between=
finding my way down into the workshops of the academy i began the task i had set before myself to prepare the Sabres for Alexis’ knighting. The first thing to need to be done, was I needed to have the original plans for each of the fallen Jedi Masters lightsabers.
Master Man'sell was a curious fellow. After he had taken on being the headmaster of the Yavin Academy from Ander Tagira, the first thing he did was to locate the Crucible and move the lightsaber archive that the droid resident on board had kept in its databanks. After an hour of work and a request for emergency overrides for master Rawkill… I was able to access the encrypted files that contains the Yavin master's blueprints
I had a very good feeling that this plan would be a good tribute to the fallen as well as give a certain sense of pomp to padawan Karidian's knighting.

Thankfully due to the smaller size of Project: Go in comparison to Project: Bigman, Goran and Athos were making good head way in reforging the few required plates of armour for the robes and mask for Porject: Go, whilst Constance made short work of finishing sewing the armourweave all together, before they were all combined and placed on an armour stand. Goran sent a message to Master Tuhlute informing him Project: Go was complete, before sending Contance and Athos back to their regular duties

=The time in between=
After laboring over largely archived and corrupted files for several days I found plans for the first five of the Yavin masters for whom I would pay tribute to.
The first week I spent working on the lightsaber of Zuli Madoon. The nature of the giant's life club made his to re-create for the purposes of this ceremony. A silver blades with minor variations for the specialty of the former headmaster had wielded forced me to spend at most five days on fabrication before beginning proper assembly… I would find out in later days that I relished his time as his lightsaber was the easiest to re-create.
I spent approximately a week studying the form of Jedi master Tebana Sor, before I began fabrication. lightsaber although still simplistic seem to have his own challenges to fit the diplomat of the Jedi. With a golden blade and hilt my early longer then the wielders hands I spent another five days on fabrications and two on construction.
I spent the next five days studying the help of HRD Jedi Master Tonaris Phedi T-1… The problem wasn't that his lightsabers were complex, but rather that I could not pick out which design was significant to his as he seemed to have lost multiple lightsabers during his tenure on Yavin. After I decided to base his tribute on the third lightsaber he had owned, I said about attempting to find the proper Crystal and lens combination to make the frozen blue that seem to be synonymous with the robotic Jedi periods in total I spent two days on acquisition of materials six days on fabrication and another two on construction
Three days researching the lightsabers of Kasandra Mallan. Hers was the first of what I assumed you many Jedi who words have multiple sabers to their name… And by multiple savers I meant multiple weapon designs, personally I chose to go with the double-sided lightsaber staff over her to lightsaber's show toes. I attempted to find another golden color this time more yellow than what I used for Master Sor. In total I spent three days for fabrication and a final day finishing the construction of Ksandra's lightsaber
In my final stint, I worked on Master Pulastra lightsaber. I attempted to stay true to the weapon that the Jedi Master had wielded in his final days, however realizing that construction would require acquisition of several Krayt Dragon scales I opted instead to remake his blue lightsaber which seem to be a pre-runner to the green saber he was known to have. I gave the greatest attention to detail I could on any of these thus far attempting to make his saber realistic… True to holonet form, however the one modification to the Sabre to fit with his later was the inclusion of being inscription "Nullum Desiderium" upon the hilt of the Sabre. In total I spent three days researching another two days designing another two days fabricating and two final days in construction.
It was at this point that I realized that many of the students had not seen me for over a month, so I made my way out from the lower levels of the Jedi Temple and I conversed with the population assembled giving myself one week of freedom before I buckled down and began work on the remaining four missing master's Sabres.

=Not long after the events of Alexis' Knighting=
Master Rawkill made his way down through the Temple's various levels, to where Goran's forge room was located, accompanied by both Athos and Constance, both of whom he had collected on his way down. Diamonte had informed the Ewok Master that his new armour suit was finished and ready for pick up, and it was for that reason that Rawkill had made his way here, finding the Mandalorian Blacksmith, known as Goran Beviin, hard at work on some project when he entered the room Sorry to interrupt, Goran, but Master Tuhlute informs me you have finished my suit?
