Corellian Space - Present DayThe flicker of pseudomotion and flash of cronau radiation that always announced a ship's transition to realspace from hyperspace preceded the Red Rocket's arrival in the Corellian System. The sleek crimson-painted Mandalorian Cruiser was accompanied by several escort vessels, Crusader gunships and Lancer frigates. Upon exiting hyperspace, the formation moves in towards Corellia, the most prominent of the Five Worlds that orbited Corell.
On board the vessel was Reyn Australis, master and commander of this expeditionary fleet. Having traded pleasantries with the Coalition's forces over Thyferra, the young Australis warrior had had the urge to visit their homeworld and see what sort of place the Coalition's home had been built into.
On the command bridge, Reyn spoke orders to the Captain and crew.Full scan, let's have a picture of the system. All of the ships began a comprehensive scan of the system, cataloguing stellar debris, asteroids, and commercial traffic, as well as noting the position of military installations and fleet elements. Shipyards and other industrial facilities would also be identified and tagged. Reyn wanted a full picture of what the Corellians had at their disposal. This mission was simply intelligence gathering, and personal curiosity. If the Corellians reacted so swiftly at and yet so heavily at incursion on a world as distant as Thyferra, he wanted to see what happened when Mandalorians showed up unannounced at their front door.Patiently, Reyn waited to see what the Corellians would do...Marcus Starmane [RETIRED] Salvor Argon

Alongside several ships of Mon Calamari design and the traditional Corellian warships, some newer models of at least Star Destroyer size seemed to orbit the planet. Even a few captured Imperial Star Destroyers, featuring the markings of the Coalition already showed that the Corellian Coalition was indeed not the backwater world of a small planetary gouvernment or the entire pride an Imperial warlord could assemble. In hindsight, that the Coalition controlled several worlds, the size of the assembled core fleet within the Corellian system indicated, that their fleetpower was quite impressive.
With the Mandalorian fleet slowly approaching the system, an X-Wing starfighter squadron would pass by the fleet with its flights inspecting the size of the incoming guests. ::Scorpid-A squadron leader of the Corellian Coalition to unknown flagship, identify yourself::, the pilot responded polite via intercom in a neimoidian accent, ::Apologize the short inspection, but we want to make sure that your intentions aren't harmful ones. Regular protocol measure.:: The squadron leader had already notified the Lucrehulk Battleship Aglais regarding the unknown visitors in case things would go ugly, given their appearence though it seemed like it was a Mandalorian fleet. Usually that wasn't necessarily a bad sign, but neither a good one either, as these days a lot of pirates tended to utilize the Mandalorian designs for their own purposes. And given the First Order's aggressive stance towards the Coalition it was no surprise, that the Coalition would double-check ships, which entered their main ports these days.

Aruetii always misunderstood Mando'ade, and this time out, Reyn made to press the Corellians' buttons and see how they jumped. He moved to answer the comm, watching the group of snubfighters on the tactical display. As neutrals, they were not automatically being target locked as they approached the big red ship.::Red Rocket to Corellian squadron, we're here on commercial business with CEC.::He deactivated the comm and gave an order.Put us on course for the Corellian Engineering Corporation orbital dock. The large red cruiser turned, her escorts keeping a loose formation with her, and began to move towards the docking area of Corellian Engineering Corporation.::No hostile intentions.:: Unless you try to stop us, he thought, but didn't say.
Reyn had told the truth, though not the whole truth. Such contracts could be organized via HoloNet, but then there would be records, and the risk of interception. For the business he was here to conclude, secrecy was paramount. He'd said as much as he intended to.
The Red Rocket was well armed for her size, and was carrying approximately one thousand ori'rami'kade as part of her onboard garrison. She was well able to cause trouble if that were her intent, though today she was simply here as a warning not to interfere in Mandalorian business. Her shields remained down, and weapons unpowered, though Reyn could change that with an order. Likewise, she didn't yet launch any craft, though she packed significant striking power into her hangar bays, should that become necessary.Linuy Findos

It took a while until the squadron leader responded, as the ships slowly approached the shipyards. The X-Wings followed by, although keeping their speed up to fly next towards the Red Rocket. ::Given the large convoy we assumed that you are here for trading buiseness or something, that isn't of ordinary civil activities::, the pilot replied politely, although more stern, as the convoy kept continiueing on towards the shipyards, ::Nontheless, we require you to sent us your IDs to ensure that your buiseness is really of harmless nature. While given that you have nothing to hide, there shouldn't be any problems, am I right, Captain of the Red Rocket?:: The squadron was so far patient, as this wasn't the first visitor making problems. May it be proud traders from Osarian, rich buiseness men from Coruscant or other persons, that either saw themselves either above the law of the Coalition or felt insulted that the Corellians checked them through like they did with most people approaching the system. And some of them probably feared for the right reason these kinds of routine checks. Thus they took their time, even though they had already informed Captain Hatoo and the Corellian Harbour command of the matter. Too early for an alert, but if things would turn out to be more shady, the patrols would have to act.
Meanwhile the Aglais left the dockyards, given the earlier report from Scorpid-A squadron, although relaxed. The Lucrehulk battleship was an impressive sight among the regular patrol ships, looking more like a mobile port on it's own next to the shipyards - and technically it was, for hundreds of fighter squadrons were stationed inside of it. Even with half of the X-Wing squadrons on patrol, the vessel offered a large variety of fighters from the Corellian Coalition - the Separatist past of the vessel, which got once abducted from the Grand Confederacy's territory was barely visible nowadays. Captain Hatoo was more than relaxed as he tried to look into the data bank of recent reports, when it came to a red Mandalorian cruiser, identifying itself as Red Rocket. If they were known pirates or known for any other kind of crime, he would figure out it soon. So would probably C-Sec, who had more informations ready. The Neimoidian was aware that the presumed-to-be-Mandalorians would realize soon the presence of the battle carrier in distance towards their fleet. That was in the end the intention, as unlike the First Order, who would probably fired their turbolaser cannons upon the approaching ships already, he prefered a calm solution. More talking and reasoning, then the shooting, should they turn out to be bad eggs. So far they seemed to respect the Coalition's laws, as they had also lowered down shields and weapons. A good start and at least less trouble compared to the last incident with the one Rhommamool spice trader fleet, who paniced and tried to shot down the patrol flights before they had even approached them.

Reyn smiled as the fighter controller requested an ID check from the Mandalorian flotilla. He nodded to the Captain. Remain on course. Keep the shields down and weapons cold. Then he activated the comm again. ::Corellian Squadron, as we have already said, we are here on commercial business with Corellian Engineering Corporation.::Reyn put a little steel into his voice.::You wouldn't be trying to interfere in the private business of the Vegemite Enclave, would you? That wouldn't be a friendly act. The Coalition, after all, doesn't own CEC, nor control the company. Our business is between the yards and us.:: The movement of the Lucrehulk on the tactical display had been noticed by Red Rocket's command crew. Reyn waved a hand to show the Captain he wanted to carry on with their course. ::I would suggest that you don't push things too far, Corellian Squadron. We're here to mind our own business, but that can change if you don't mind yours.:: Reyn smiled. He was new to this diplomacy lark, but so far he was doing a lot better than his erstwhile father had done. Kaine would have come in armed and ready for battle, and probably provoked an avoidable confrontation.Linuy Findos

Well, here came the first difficulties... Given their expierience with former trouble makers at the shipyards, the squadron leader briefly transmitted the response of the Red Rocket's captain towards the Aglais before the X-Wings simultaneously opened up their S-foils, yet did nothing more. The X-Wings themselves weren't necessarily a threat to the convoy. Yet the worrysome part began when it came to the rest of the harbour and their security forces. ::We do not own the Corellian Engineering Corporation, but this is territory of the Corellian Coalition, Sir::, the pilot replied this time now a bit more stern though still polite, ::Before you will do your buiseness with the shipyards, we would like to escort you towards the C-Sec terminal at Dockyard 33 in order to check the ship and their crew. Your convoy may stay behind until we give further orders to check each individual ship afterwards, Red Rocket. Regular safety routine in case we suspect suspicious activities, nothing to fear. The Aglais will stay in range of your convoy, should you worry about the safety of your escort ships within the outer orbit of the Five Worlds. Once the procedure is over and we have checked that everything is alright, your fleet is allowed to reunite within the harbour for the time of your visit.:: The message was clear to understand and the slowly incoming Lucrehulk-class battleship was the brief reminder that the sector authorities were serious.
Hatoo shook his head, as the Aglais came into closer distance, yet far away from the unknown convoy in case they tried to do something foolish. His men were doing a good job, following so far the protocol, yet as usual the Neimoidian veteran was worried when it came to them. Of course he was, as only a bad captain would not be worried about the safety of his starfighter squadrons. Or a really merciless one... Odd to think, that these Mandalorians chose their territory to seemingly provoke the patience of the naval bureaucracy as if they saw the first time a routine check, where all they had to do was just to identify themselves. Well, not that he was any different. He remembered with a slight smile as he betrayed his former Separatist allies on Utapau to steal the Aglais straight from its construction yards at Utapau under the nose of Gulch's henchmen. But these were different circumstances. A backwater port of a small rising power, that was already consumed by the Blackguard empire, when Senator Findos and him made their way into the Outer Rim to reclaim, what once belonged to the Galactic Alliance. Other than a few Recusants and Munificents nothing was chasing after them, for their main forces were crushed within their attempts to spread from world to world with a small navy force. Here at the Five Worlds though the situation was different. Several ships were stationed along the Five Brothers alone, but even at Fondor up to Rhommamool over the systems of Hapes going even towards the far edges of Malastare, ships of the Coalition are stationed to protect the very worlds, that they either liberated from tyrannical rulers or wished to join up their union with the threat of the First Order to the North and the foreign Blackguard Empire being everpresent. In times like these it was important to know friend or foe. Hatoo had already spotted something in the databank, which made him believe that the Red Rocket might not necessarily have hostile intentions, yet the sector authorities and security along the port side would make sure that they aren't pirates, smugglers or even worse agents of the First Order. He hoped that their crew would comply and just be done with identifying themselves, before things get even more suspicious and afterwards most likely ugly. The Aglais just got fueled up and repaired from a previous skirmish with the Imperials in the border regions, it would be a shame if the technicians had to repair once more few sections on that massive hull of a battleship.

It seemed to Reyn that the Corellians were hellbent on forcing an avoidable confrontation.
Reyn's response to the request was swift, but still polite.::Negative on that offer, Corellian squadron.:: He saw the X-wings deploy their S-foils, but they didn't break formation and begin maneuvering, which would have been a prelude to offensive action.Time to show them we're serious about our privacy, he thought.Captain, order the fleet to raise shields.Red Rocket and the pair of Lancer frigates and four Crusader gunships that escorted her all complied, a very visible show to the Corellians that the Mandalorians weren't playing games. ::You're going to have to take our word as to our identity and intentions. We've identified ourselves and stated our intentions. That should be enough for your Coalition.::Reyn was tempted to order a launch, but he still hoped to avoid a confrontation here. He hoped the Corellians would back down, as he had told them the truth. It would be silly of them to provoke an interstellar war over a handful of warships. He considered ordering the ships to target the X-wings, but a direct provocation like that wasn't diplomatic. Protecting yourself was one thing, pointing an armed weapon was another. He'd let the Corellians make that move first.
Behind him, he heard a commotion at the bridge entrance, but ignored it in favour of continuing his conversation with the Corellian commander. ::Any attempt to board our vessels will be resisted. You are free to conduct scans as you wish, but we will be continuing on with our business.:: Unless a war is what you choose, Corellian. Reyn thought.Linuy Findos

The X-Wings remained for a while as they were, before they eventually left the convoy, returning towards the approaching Aglais. ::Under these circumstances, we urge you to leave the system Red Rocket, as unlike the First Order we offer you at least the chance to leave our systems, if you choose to break the laws within the system::, the squadron leader replied, ::The CEC doesn't deal with unidentified visitors and you will be attacked, should your fleet attempt to come closer towards the space port. You chose this confrontation on your own and this is the last warning.:: Hospitality had its borders and the Mandalorians had so far failed the diplomatic approach, as they refused a routine check during war times - an unreasonable move and something where the Scorpid-A leader was powerless. The squadron returned into formation, close towards the Aglais as the X-Wings would patrol alongside the massive carrier ship.
Alerting C-Sec and other military ships within range to remain catious, Captain Tas Hatoo took over the talks upon the communication line from there, given that he had ordered back the fellow Neimoidian squadron to retreat. He had now all the informations he needed, given that reports from the events at Thyferra existed. ::Red Rocket , here speaks Captain Tas Hatoo of the Corellian Coalition Navy::, the Neimoidian spoke up, his voice being so far rough as the times of idle nice talk was over, ::A report regarding a red Beviin-class cruiser, operating for the so-called 'Vegemite Jedi Enclave' and House Australis of Mandalore exists already within our database for suspicious fleet activities over Thyferra, a Coalition-alligned planet, so either state your intentions and play with open cards or leave the system. Otherwise we see ourselves forced to defend the port from your trespassing and will inform the Mandalorian Assembly regarding your activities. We have no quarrel with Mandalore nor their proud nation, so we would regret treating you like a mere pirate. You are better than this, captain of the Enclave fleet, as there is no point in your assets getting damaged or even destroyed in a pointless fleet battle because of your own pride. Last warning.:: With the Lucrehulk-class having their shields raised and their turret stations ready, Hatoo would then proceed to check the status of the present starfighter squadrons. 6 T-85 X-wing squadrons, 8 RZ-2 A-Wing Interceptor squadrons, 12 BTL-S3 Y-wing Starfighter squadrons, the 4 MG-100 StarFortress SF-17 squadrons and even the two B-wing Heavy Assault Starfighter squadrons were present on the carrier, who would be supported by the present two Golan III Space Defense NovaGuns in orbit around the planet, should the foreign fleet actually consider an actual fight. Not to mention of other present Corellian Coalition ships in orbit. Hatoo shook his head in pity. Compared to the First Order their protocol might seem weak, might potentially look for the Mandalorian like a harmless bureaucratic matter - however the Coalition was so far patient, if ships, who entered their systems didn't immidiately identify themselves and showed their IDs. The First Order just sends in their Star Destroyers, disables their shields and then picks them off with their tractor beam, perhaps even doesn't go that far, if their attempts meet resistance by their target. Their paranoia and will for dominance barely left room for mercy and patience. The Coalition on the other hand was patient. The first shots would be warnings, the ones following after would definitly be serious, should these ships continiue their approach into the Corellian space port.
All depended now on the wisdom of the other fleet commander. Hatoo prayed, that the good sense of the Mandalorian commander outweighed the pride of trespassing a law for the cost of a larger conflict. For his sake.

Some days had past since the Prime Minister's tour of the Coalition worlds had been conducted, meaning that the Coalition's 1st fleet and 10th Fleet were once more posted back to their home's. Far out towards the edge of the system, the 10th Fleet held a protective position around Talus and Tralus. The 1st Fleet, however, was orbiting above the northern pole of the Coalition's Capital. Fleet Admiral Thomas Carter sat within his command chair upon the Redemption, overseeing the 1st Fleet and keeping a loose attention upon the actions of Corellia's Orbital Control. He remained at the ready to intervene should CorSec, CDF, or C-sec request his aide.
Such moments were few and far between. Despite the First Order's size and power, they had yet to provoke the Coalition or attempt to forcefully take the Five Brother's. Such a venture would cost them dearly, given the fervour with which the Coalition would fight.
For the most part, his attention was only called when some band of pirates, rogues, or an upstart warlord thought his Imperial might was superior to the Coalition's amassed forces. Today, it seemed, would be one of those days as a rather unique and easily identified red ship appeared in orbit. Captain Hatoo and Scorpid-A squadron had been quick to act and lend themselves out to CDF to parse the incoming vessels. For the most part, things seemed to go well. Right up until identification was requested, at which point the Mandalorians seemed to become quite stubborn. Something which drew a sigh from the aged Fleet Admiral.
The young one's were always so eager to push the boundaries and try act all the innocent. With a few barked commands, the Redemption, Freedom, Union, and Last Stand all moved from their position above the Pole and moved into position above the Lucrehulk. Placing themselves between the Mandalorians and the Shipyards. Carter's visage would appear on any holodisplay, or merely his voice would be relayed over the comms system then Tell me, Reyn Australis, since when did Mandalorian's start deciding Coalition policy? Would you and your people be so welcoming to a force appearing above Mandalore and attempting to do business with MandalMotors? Would you merely take their word when they refused to provide identification? In times of conflict, a man's word can mean very little. There is little reason for you to not comply with a simple identification request. Unless, of course, you have something to hide? The Admiral let out a rather audible sigh. These Mandalorians were quite vexing, and very purposefully so Captain, one might be inclined to think you are purposefully provoking a force into action... Perhaps to try spin such actions as the aggressions of a larger nation against your smaller but... "honest" nation. But surely you would never do such a thing, right? Such a ruse would be beneath a people as bound to honour as yours are. You may not claim allegiance with the Mandalorian Assembly, but you are still Mandalorian at the end of the day. And while the Coalition has no qualms with the Vegemite Enclave, your intentional provocations will not be met with understanding forever. In the interest of diplomacy, provide your identification and you will be allowed to continue on and conduct your business...

Reyn listened to the Corellians get more agitated by the minute. They didn't seem to be choosing to leave the Mandalorians to their business. That was a mistake, in his eyes. The young Australis activated the comm once more.::If your Coalition attempts to prevent our business with CEC, we will consider that an unfriendly act.::He waved to the captain to activate the fleet's IFF transponders.
The Red Rocket, the two Lancers Sentinel and Guardian, and the four gunships Justice, Strength, Determination, and Vengeance, all with their shields up, complied with the order, activating their transponders. ::We are here on private business, and will not be allowing you to board and inspect our ships. We have complied with your instructions as far as we are going to.::Your move, shabuir. Reyn thought. The commotion behind him settled down, and he heard someone approach. He turned to see his father, in full beskar'gam, with a full squad of his Jare'rami'kade waiting at the entrance. Not going well? Kaine asked. It's going fine. Reyn replied. This was his ship, and his mission. He hoped his father wouldn't interfere. Thankfully, Kaine seemed happy to be observing for now. Reyn contacted the fleet admiral.::Admiral Carter. You'll find our transponders now broadcasting our IDs. Will that satisfy your demands, or do you want to push this further?:: Kaine nodded approvingly at Reyn's stony tone, but refrained from commenting.Linuy Findos Marcus Starmane [RETIRED]

Fleet Admiral Carter had not batted an eye, ready to dive further into this game of chicken. If these representatives of this so called Vegemite Enclave wished to believe themselves a law unto themselves and did not have to comply with local laws, then that would be their mistake. Logic and reason, however, finally caught hold of the Mandalorian, and the fleets IFF's came online soon after. The Coalition's First Fleet kept their shields raised, while a comm was sent to Captain Hatoo, indicating for him to do the same while his forces should stand down but remain vigilant. Thomas activated the comm line in return Captain Australis, might I remind you of the importance of adhering to local law enforcement for which ever system you are in. Especially if you are claiming to be in system upon private business and not official Government business. Diplomatic Immunity only extends so far Captain. But we will forego an inspection, since you have decided to comply and broadcast your IFF's as requested. As to your question, Captain Australis, I will happily waylay you down with inspections and checks to the fullest extent of Corellian law and Corellian Engineering Corporation compliance if you so desire, before you are finally approved for docking with the shipyards. I may be an old man, and you may be youthful, but I have plenty of time to yet waste. Or... you can make the decision to not further try and instigate a fight and continue about your business. I don't believe I need to inform you that CEC has their own security and will request your weapons remain aboard your ship or be forfeited to their security for the duration of your visit. Will that be all Captain? If so, enjoy your time in the Corellian System... While the Coalition had no official dealings or lines of communication with this Vegemite Enclave, certain courtesies with regards to Diplomatic Immunity could be extended as a sign of good faith to any independent government not serving the First Order. But given that Reyn had made quite clear that his fleet and forces were here upon private business, Fleet Admiral Carter was more than prepared to deal with them in an appropriate fashion should Reyn or any of those serving under him decide to further agitate or disregard local laws and regulations

Kaine watched his son, still approvingly, and kept silent as the situation with the Corellians deteriorated. He wasn't yet at the point where he could say he told his son so, but that moment was approaching.Reyn looked to the Captain. Send a copy of our transmissions back to Clan HQ. Then he reactivated the comm. ::Corellian forces, I can only give you my word as a Mandalorian that we have no hostile intent. Assuming you know anything about our culture, you'll know that my honour, and that of my Clan is my bond.::Reyn swore, eliciting a chuckle from Kaine, which the younger Australis ignored. If they open fire, respond with deadly force if you have to, but get us out of here. We won't start this fight, but by Kad we'll finish it. Kaine nodded but kept silent with a poker face.
Reyn's force was outgunned and outnumbered, and he truly felt the Corellians had no need to show such aggression. They were ready to protect themselves if the Corellian Coalition opened fire. The group continued on course towards the shipyards, now ready to defend itself. Reyn turned to his father.Alor. He used the title, because he was out of ideas and kicking this one upstairs in an official capacity. Little help?Kaine nodded, Reyn could tell the grin was there, but Kaine made his voice professional as he accessed the comm. ::Admiral, this is Kaine Australis. Forgive my son his rashness, for he is young, and inexperienced in such matters.
You have my word that we are here to do business with the yards and spend credits, which will flow into your Coalition's pockets.
Now, does this need to get very personal between us?::If that didn't make the Corellian Fleet Admiral re-assess his life path, then nothing would, Reyn thought. Kaine was very willing and able to make his way across to the Admiral's ship to discuss any slights to his personal honour, in person.Red Rocket and its fleet continued on course towards CEC shipyards, requesting a docking berth for the Red Rocket so that Reyn and Kaine could go aboard and conduct their business.Marcus Starmane [RETIRED] Linuy Findos

It seemed the Mandalorians had finally decided to change track, realizing that that their disregard for local authority had only put them at a disadvantage. The Redemption hung in orbit just above the path upon which the Mandalorian's were taking, but as the ships moved closer the guns remained silent. Thomas had listened to Reyn's message, but before he could respond, an older Mandalorian calling himself Kaine Australis spoke. If Kaine had expected his name to be universally known, respect, and/or feared, he was about to be disappointed If that name was meant to impress me, then know I remain unimpressed... But I do take your word as Mandalorians that you are not going to cause any trouble from here on out...

Reyn's mission could continue, as the small flotilla approached the CEC yards. Kaine was surprised that a fleet admiral wouldn't recognize the name of a former Mand'alor, but his opinion of the Coalition dropped a little. Your average officer should at least have a grasp on galactic history, as Kaine saw it. Reyn smiled at the Admiral's sarcasm. Kaine didn't. One of his Jare'rami'kade said something in Mando'a that Reyn didn't catch. The other Jare'rami'kade seemed to find it most amusing. Kaine deferred. No, Bors, I can't let you do that, though it would be funny to watch. The elder Australis went back to the comm. ::Then you might want to read a history book, aruetii. Australis out.:: Kaine silenced the communications link. Dealing with aruetiise could be very tiresome, but they'd done what they came here to do in terms of testing the Coalition. Now they could focus on the other mission, securing a construction contract with Corellian Engineering Corporation, to begin production on what would eventually become the Vegemite Enclave's Magnum Opus.

"It's ready sir"
Ostrenis moved through the bridge, which looked as it always had, the pits full to the brim with officers, alien and human alike, and glanced the sprawling shipyards through the viewports.
"Full thrust. Move to arranged point for testing"
The Imperial Star Destroyer was locked in a dockyard, but the pincers and connections that united it to the structure like an umbilical cord were promptly removed. The wedge-shaped ship started to gain full velocity. Parts of it looked quite different from what it previously was. The ship crossed empty military lines, reserved space for such manouvers. The incoming data showed correct speed and functionality.
"Engage cloaking device"
"Roger, sir, on the mark"
A field around the ship flickered. Moments later, the whole ship was invisible to sensors and any eye, humanoid and alien alike.
"Undergoing tests"
Satellites, radars and patrolling ships focused their short and long range systems on the ship, trying to get a hold of its signature.
"Ship is cloaked"
"Good"
Ostrenis keyed something on his chair's command console.
"Let's try the turbolasers"
"Fixing target. Leaving invisibility in 10 seconds"
The long-ranged turrets, a new addition to the imposing frame of the Oathkeeper, were pointed at a large freighter, placed there by the Coalition to serve as target practice. It had a thick hull and sufficient shields to withstand a cruiser's assault, more so at that distance.
"Fire when ready"
The cloaking field flickered and soon was gone, revealing the destroyer in all its might. The turbolasers on the prow were almost loaded and, soon thereafter, delivered its payload, the projectiles crossing the emptyness of space, burning freely until impacting against the freighter, whose shields were blasted and the hull of which was craked in half like an egg, blowing as soon as the inner systems exploded.
"Well done. Download all the reports and send them to my aides for examination, captain"
"As you wish sire"
And thus, the schematics of the Black Annie had finally been of use. The Oathkeeper was now an even more fearsome ship of the line.
"Send word to the surface, the testing is done for"

Their business with Corellian Engineering Corporation now complete, Red Rocket and her escort force left Corellian space, and jumped away to hyperspace, headed back out to the Mandalore sector.

A small cargo ship called Javar entered Corellia's orbit. Within its cargo space, Amanda Harper sat on a cargo box, waiting for the formalities to complete and landing to commence. She didn't know much of what was going on, but she assumed there wouldn't be any trouble, since the captain had said to her that she wasn't running any contraband or anything else that could get them to trouble. She hoped that this was indeed the case, but didn't have real reason to doubt either.

A flash of light brightens the space above the planet of Corellia as what remains of an MC80 Star Cruiser begins to violently break apart after its exit from hyperspace. The ship, very nearly destroyed in battle before it made the jump, had clearly seen its final day as the wrenching force of reemergence was enough to cause a catastrophic failure in the vessel's structural supports. The blaring of the klaxons within was quickly overpowered by the sound of explosions that rippled through the ship.
Many Quarren lives were lost as the ship broke apart in the vastness of space, though a number of escape pods did manage to jettison in time and float among the various pieces of wreckage as they hurtled in all directions.
Along with the escape pods, a single light transport managed to escape the cascade of destruction - but not without substantial damage to its landing gear. Its lone occupant used his considerable skills to pilot the vessel towards the surface of the planet below with a singular thought in mind that he could not help but put into words.
"Not again..."

Operation Little Crown, Kyr'bes'ika in Mando'a, was an ambitious plan headed by Clan Intelligence to strike at the Coalition in conjunction with the military Operation Roundhammer. Far smaller in scope, but just as ambitious in scale and degree of difficulty, intelligence had their own plans for the Corellian System.
A single Action-VI freighter, bought secondhand and quietly modified by Intelligence was the insertion platform for the strike team. Eight Mando'ade from Clan Australis, four of the Night Witches, three Corellian vode, and in command, the Bothan Jaing Nail'ya from the Night Lords. An eclectic bunch, but tough, they were all posing as the ship's crew and company.
One of the Corellians, Lok Australis, still had his birth IDs in his family name of Gejjen, and so he had drawn duty as ship's Captain, Lok Gejjen, returning home to Corellia with his ship and crew. The Bothan kept to himself, locked in his cabin, with the others having the run of the vessel. They'd be going in with no support and no hope of rescue, so they had chosen their cargo with care.
The vessel was renamed the Corell Eclipse after the databanks had been thoroughly scrubbed and reprogrammed with a suitable backstory of a semi successful trading ship plying the Outer Rim. Her refrigerated holds were half full of fruits and meats from a variety of worlds, that would fetch a decent return for any captain and crew in the Core. The Corell Eclipse, a battered Action-VI freighter, exited hyperspace in the Corell system, near Corellia, and headed insystem towards the planet. Her IFF was active with her Captain's ID linked in so that Orbital Control could see who they were. Their proposed flight plan to Coronet was even linked in, as a courtesy.::This is freighter Corell Eclipse inbound to Coronet requesting clearance.:: Lok spoke into the mic of the captain's chair on the vessel's small bridge. If they had to talk their way in, the responsibility was on his shoulders, though the command of the mission was the Bothan's, it was thought a Corellian might be a better option to play the role of ship's captain. Any scans of the Action-VI would find a small shield generator, powered down, the cargo itself, matching the manifest, but no hidden weapons or ship's armaments. The engines had been totally reconditioned, giving the appearance of a ship that was built to run away with its cargo, not a warship in disguise.
The ship's reactor housing was slightly damaged, deliberately, but not visibly so, in order to show a minor radiation leak, something that was quite common, and easily repaired. This was deemed necessary to cover any potential radiation leakage from the baradium mines concealed within the main reactor. The strike team's payload was well concealed, and would only likely be detected by someone making a direct inspection and knowing precisely what to look for; an unlikely scenario. In an ideal scenario, even should the leak need to be repaired, the weapons were unlikely to leak, the measure was precautionary in nature.
The crew were unarmed but for a few blasters and vibroblades, and nobody wore Mandalorian armour, nor had they brought their own along. The effort overall was to give all appearances of regularity and normality, one of the hundreds of ships that visited Corellia every day, and present no threat.Mike Frantz

A J-1 shuttle, Libero, drops out of hyper space above Corellia.
It has been awhile, Johun thinks to himself. I wonder if I am remembered or even welcomed. I wonder of my codes still work.
We have come out of hyperspace, sir.
Begin transmitting the Corellian Jedi Temple codes, Lt. Trado. Let's see what they say.
Yes, sir.
The Libero begins to transmit codes for the Corellian Jedi Temple. Hoping to get a response...
