CDF Cardan III-class space station, Eunike
Orsina nods a greeting to each of the three Lieutenants Commander Cracken introduces as they are named, and when Roy has finished speaking says with more genuine warmth in her tone than is common for the Nagai, "Firstly, job well done all of you. I know that you have suffered many losses, and can only imagine what you have all been through, but you brought a great many of your people home. Addressing Commander Cracken directly, she assures him, The injured are our priority as well, Commander, please believe me when I say that they will all receive the very best of care. Lieutenant Irixis will also have all the help he needs to effect the repair of the battlecruiser." Steepling her pale hands beneath her chin, Orsina says in her more customarily business-like tone, "Now then, unfortunately we will need to attend to a few formalities, Commander, before you and your lieutenants can get some much needed rest. I trust you understand? While we will need full after-action reports from you all at a later date, I think for now we can confine our inquiries to a few of the more pressing matters, hmm? So then, let's get down to it, shall we? First, were you being pursued after effecting the capture of that battlecruiser? More specifically, should we be expecting the First Order to come looking here for it? Secondly, were any enemy soldiers captured in the course of capturing the battlecrusier? Any prisoners we should be aware of so that they can be detained and interrogated? Finally, for now at least, I think a brief summary of the wheres and whens of the battlecrusier's capture would wrap up what we need in the immediate term, after which you all will be able to get some rest."

Unceremoniously an X-wing painted navy blue, pale gold accent with a growling polar bear painted as squadron sigil breaks out of hyperspace with crack and roaring engine that seems as if it begged for more speed. The engines spin down to maintain a responsible speed as the X-wing approached the blue jewel that was Corellia.
The X-wing doesn't seem concerned with planetary defenses or regular civilian flow of traffic, as it cruised through on a singular flight path that led it straight on an undisturbed flight path to the surface; transmitting top level jedi codes; the codes will be found as dated, but still check out.
The X-wing makes its way to the surface. . .

Roy listened attentively as the Admiral spoke, not unkindly, of the need for transparency. In truth it was a far warmer welcome than the survivors of the doomed mission had been prepared for. Roy looked around at his lieutenants, and got nods of approval from Rendar and Tevv, and a muted roar indicating the affirmative from Gerbacca.
Again, I want to thank you and your people for looking after ours. We'll do our best to repay your hospitality. The lieutenants again indicated their own assent and willingness to help. Cracken took a deep breath and began.
As you say, we have some pressing issues to resolve. Let me begin with the bad news.
Owing to the blind hyperspace jump that got us away from the First Order yards, and the subsequent jumps we made to get here, there is no chance we were pursued. Our slow and roundabout course saw to that. After the first jump we were stranded between systems for over a week while we repaired the hyperdrives. They could have finished us off any time. They didn't. I have to assume they weren't able to plot our outbound vector, as we ourselves weren't.
The other bad news is that because none of the senior command staff survived, no one living knows the name or even the location of the system where the yards were located. My team, and those of the other boarding parties that survived, came aboard locked inside shipping containers, transported in by freighter. The last location, where we were sealed in, was Endor. After that it was a very smelly week in the dark, and several hyperspace jumps before we reached the target. It could have been anywhere in the galaxy. The Redemption's navicomputer is completely shot, overloaded. We've been calculating manually using well known routes the last two jumps. No way to get the location from the logs, either, because the ship's log was hit during the fighting and irretrievably fried.
Now, we've been on the run for almost a month. In that time, we haven't had one single incident of sabotage, or any attempt to access the ship's communications system. I have to believe if there were any First Order personnel aboard, they'd have tried something before now. We've done searches of course, but with our lack of manpower, not enough to be certain. It's unlikely, but I imagine you'll want to take precautions.
Roy retrieved a datapad from his pocket and passed it across the desk.
This is our personnel list. You can verify everyone of my people. I trust that you understand I am putting their lives and their families in your hands, Admiral. You've saved our lives, and you didn't have to. That's gone some way to earning my trust. But if the First Order ever got their hands on that datapad....
That was unthinkable. The First Order would not hesitate to target the families and loved ones of known resistance fighters. Roy knew it was a risk, trusting this Corellian Admiral so far so soon, but they did need a home, and Corellia had been far more welcoming than any of his people had dared hope. Sometimes, you had to go with your gut, and it was the Cracken way to take big risks for big rewards.
I am sorry we don't have any useful information, beyond the vessel itself. I imagine there are some Corellians who wouldn't mind taking a look at her to see what makes her tick. My people are prepared to co-operate fully. Roy took a glass of water and sipped at it, to soothe the drying in his throat. Despite the length of their flight from the First Order, there hadn't been a whole lot of time for talking. Not when keeping the Redemption from falling apart took every waking moment and then some.

CDF Cardan III-class space station, Eunike
Orsina does not interrupt as Commander Cracken provides the answers to the questions she had asked, though she does not periodically, or hmm, or ah, as appropriate to make it apparent that her attention does not waver. Though the fact that, should all that Commander Cracken suggest prove true, it seems highly improbable that the captured First Order vessel will yield any useful intelligence is mildly disappointing for obvious reasons, the survival of Commander Cracken and those of his people that made it with him is more than sufficient compensation in the Nagai's mind.
Tapping the surface of the datapad that Commander Cracken had entrusted her with, Orsina says somberly in such a way that makes her sincerity abundantly clear, "I can promise you, Commander, that the First Order will never get their hands on this datapad or the information it contains. The datapad will make verification of the identities of the surviving members of Cracken's force far easier, Orsina thinks, which will in turn hasten the process of Commander Cracken and his people moving on to whatever lays next in store for them. You have nothing to apologize for, Commander, Orsina says with a rare smile, If all you have suggest is true, we won't need to worry about the First Order coming to take back what you've captured, and if your survival, and that of your surviving people, does not come with any intel on our enemy, I don't imagine that either of us feels cheated in any way. Rapping her pale knuckles on the table as though calling their meeting to an end, Orsina looks from Roy to each of his senior ranking officers as she says, I believe I've kept you long enough for now, Gentlemen. I imagine you'd all like hot meals, showers, or to get some genuinely peaceful rest, and so will have you shown to where you can do any or all of those things, as well, she looks at Commander Cracken, as show you were your people are being cared for in case there are any you would like to check in on."
After Commander Cracken and his senior officers are shown from the briefing room, they are, just as promised, given a brief tour of the areas of the station that have been temporarily given over to their use - living quarters, common areas, cafeterias, infirmaries, laundry and exercise areas, and so on, all staffed sufficiently to ensure that Commander Cracken and his people are provided the high level of care Orsina had promised - and then introduced to CDF LT Mairin Davin, a tiny, red haired and freckled humanoid Bimm, who has been tasked with seeing that Commander Cracken and his people's needs are met. After being introduced, LT Davin provides Commander Cracken with the means to contact her if and when she is needed, and then, having shown him to the quarters he has been assigned for his personal use, says, "You should find all that you need inside, Commander. Razors, towels, a dataterminal in case there is anyone you'd like to reach out to, toothpaste, and so on. We did our best to guess your size for the fresh clothing in the closet, standard CDF unis with no insignia and so on is all we were able to round up so quickly, she babbles before realizing she is babbling, and then, straightening up and speaking less informally, says, If there is anything you need, Commander, for you or yours, just let me know and I will see that it is provided. Within reason of course, she adds with a smile, and then, once more becoming formal, asks, Is there anything else you need at the moment, Commander? Or shall I leave you to get some rest, or, you know, whatever else it is you'd like to do if resting isn't what you want to do just now?"

A transport escorted by an E-Wing, both bearing Adegan colors, drops from hyperspace skirting the planet's gravity well. Riddick takes note of everything that was in orbit, such as emplacements, fleet vessels, commercial and personal traffic, et al. Keeping in a b-line, along with the transport he was escorting, he hails the ATC.
Tower, Baker One Actual. Flight size of two requesting approach to the Jedi temple. How copy?

Depending on the route that Riddick takes after emerging from hyperspace and where it is that he and the transport he escorts emerge from hyperspace relative to Corellia, he may observe one of the three Pellaeon-class Destroyers that, with their supporting vessels and starfighters, patrol along varying routes around Corellia. Riddick is almost certainly familiar with the two CDF Cardan III-class space stations in orbit around Corellia, and will therefore be unsurprised when a CDF planetary traffic controller responds to his hail.
After requesting that Riddick maintain his position while the usual, necessary red tape is navigated through, the CDF planetary traffic controller contacts the Jedi academy and is in due course assured that Riddick is known to the academy and cleared to make his way there.
Baker One Actual, you are cleared to begin your approach. I believe you already know the way? Safe journey, over.

Route is plugged in, we are beginning our approach and switching to academy tower frequency. In unison, the two craft adjust their course toward the academy, taking a route around that would use the atmosphere of the planet to slow their speed from orbital velocities to something a bit more manageable.

Luon So's stolen Punworrca 116-class Interstellar Sloop emerged from hyperspace, its solar sail collapsing as it was retracted into the craft as its sublight engines kicked in fully and guided the bronze colored ship towards the planet. In the cockpit Luon So fretted over what to do about the body of the pilot that still lay pinned to the co-pilot's chair by her Force Pike; she'd set course for Corellia after some research in the ship's databanks, hoping that they could teach her how to actually use her gifts, and only now as she was staring the planet in the face did it occur to her just how bad her situation looked. She wished that she had thought of this issue sooner, so that she could have dumped the body on some remote planet before coming to the Jedi, but now she was here and it was too late for that. Without any better idea of what to do she pulled the Force Pike free of the copilot's chair and dragged the pilot into the airlock before shutting the interior hatch and venting the corpse out into space. There was still blood in the cockpit, and a good sized hole through the copilot's chair, but at least there wasn't a dead body anymore. Sighing with exhaustion as she slid back into the pilot's chair, Luon So keyed the comms and hailed Corellia's planetary control. "This is Punworcca 116-class Interstellar Sloop..." She paused, realizing that she didn't know what the previous owner had named the ship nor had she chosen a name for it herself. Thinking quickly, she decided on a name and continued. "...Aiwha, requesting clearance to land. I've come seeking the aid of the Jedi but don't know where to land. If you could please provide landing instructions it would be greatly appreciated." Her voice was calm and emotionless, as was typical of Kaminoans, in spite of the nervousness and anxiety that she felt raging within. Others of her species always seemed to have their emotions under control, yet Luon So had always struggled some with containing them. Thankfully, most outsiders lacked a sufficient understanding of Kaminoan body language and tells to recognize the subtle signs of her indiscretion but it had always earned her some admonishment among her peers. Bringing the craft to a stop in orbit as she awaited a response from the planet Luon So rose from her chair and began looking for cleaning supplies of some sort in the small ship, hoping that she could clean up some of the blood before she landed.

CDF SPC Marcellino D'Avanzo holds up a hand to indicate to his fellow planetary traffic controller - a massive Herglic in the middle of telling a story about one of his many adventures in the CDF before taking a blaster bolt to the knee got him the less story worthy position in planetary traffic control - know that he has received an incoming transmission. Even before the pilot of the 116-class Interstellar Sloop has finished speaking Marcellino has dropped into his seat and is reviewing the data from the ship's transponder streaming on the screen of his dataterminal. Swiveling in his seat after instructing the pilot of the sloop to hold their present posiiton, Marcellino runs the transponder codes against BoSS records on one dataterminal and swiveling again to, using another dataterminal, run the name of the vessel against CorSec and other law enforcement databases. Marcellino has a sip of stimcaf while waiting, and when the available records give him no reason to delay or detain the sloop and so, after contacting the Jedi Academy to gain their permission to route the ship to their hangar, finds a slot for the sloop in the incoming planetary traffic lanes.
You have been cleared to land in the Jedi Academy hangar, Aiwha, Marcellino says after reopening a comm channel to the sloop and sending a datapacket that contains the flight plan he has set for it. Your assigned flight plan has been sent, and you may adjust your heading and proceed on the assigned entry vector upon receipt. Corellia PTC out.

Rising from where she knelt on the floor, scrubbing at the blood with what cleaning supplies she had been able to locate in the refresher, Luon so crossed the short distance to the pilot's chair and slid into it before keying the comms again. "Thank you for your assistance." With that simple sentiment she guided the sloop along the provided entry vector and headed towards the Jedi Academy. She'd have to finish cleaning the sloop some other time; she only hoped that no one would investigate the craft before she was able to.

A clearly modified Arquitens-class light cruiser dropped out of hyperspace at the very edge of the gravity well of Corellia.
Sol Kyr'galaar stood on the command deck of the bridge, hands clasped together behind his back as he stared down at the blue planet his vessel was heading towards through the large windows in front of him. It had been... too long since he was last on Corellia. He'd spent many years with the Green Jedi back before the end of the Cold War and found them simply fascinating. Still, he inevitably had to move on, which he did, and he had scarcely returned to the lush world since.
He stared out the windows, contemplative for a further minute still.
"Thank you, captain. Could you please open communications with the planetary airspace authorities?"
The captain did so dutifully, and, provided his hails were answered, a hologram of Helios would have become accessible to the airspace controllers.
"Greetings, Corellia Control. I come seeking leave to visit the Corellian Jedi Academy. If that leave were to be granted, I would also request a shuttle escort to my landing zone. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Corellia."
The transmitted ship identifications would bring it up as a retired military model from the Clone Wars, named Knightfall, where it was commanded by Jedi Master Helios Mygora. Now, it appeared to be registered to a seemingly-irrelevant corporation that was registered to a system in the Rishi Maze with no obvious affiliation with its previous owner. While it was heavily armed, as would be expected, the armaments did seem somewhat more intense than what would have been commonplace for a Clone Wars-issued vehicles. The magic of modernisation, one could suppose.

CDF SPC Marcellino D'Avanzo arches an eyebrow when the Arquitens-class light cruiser shows up on his boards shortly before sending its hail on the Corellian Defense Force planetary traffic control channel, sitting up straighter in his seat as the arrival of a light cruiser will require a bit more attention and action from him than a typical civilian or commercial arrival would.
Checking his boards for the nearest CDF ships on patrol in relation to the newly arrived light cruiser, Marcellino begins reviewing and checking the identifications its transponder relays while he sends an alert to the CDF Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer, The Eurybia, to ensure they are aware of the cruiser's location so that they can, per protocol, suspend their patrol and maneuver in order to be nearby in the event any intervention is required. Once the Eurybia has been notified, Marcellino opens a comm channel to the ship, saying, Welcome to Corellia. Please hold your position and standby while the academy is contacted to receive clearance for a shuttle to escort you to their hangar.
Closing the channel so that he can verify the information received from the ship's transponder and contact the academy, Marcellino finds no red flags related to the Arquitens-class light cruiser in CDF, CorSec or other databases, and so opens the comm channel to the vessel once more after arranging for a shuttle escort to the academy and says, You have been cleared for a shuttle escort to the academy. The shuttle is enroute now, and will escort you to the academy. Enjoy your visit, CDF PTC out.
Not long after Marcellino signs off, the promised shuttle escort arrives and then proceeds to make for the Jedi academy's hangar.

The Bantha-class assault shuttle cleared Corellia's air space, left orbit, and swiftly departed into hyperspace, but there had been little time to correct the error that had been found in the hyperspace engines.

The Geheim Masjien, a YT-2400 light freighter, makes its way up into orbit after departing from Coronet's starport. After leaving Corellia's gravity well and making a course adjustment, the freighter increases speed and then winks from view as it jumps to hyperspace, bound for Dressel.

CDF Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer, The Eurybia - Hangar
CDF Ensign Damiano Ricci removes his flight helmet after dropping from the ladder beside his XJ7 X-wing starfighter, having completed an uneventful, routine CAP over Corellia's eastern hemisphere. Pausing to watch the trio of X-wings launching from the hangar, bound for their own CAP, Damiano massages the back of his neck and then begins making his way to the mess hall, already planning how to spend the leave he has coming up in four days time.
As Damiano and the other pilots that had been on patrol with him exit the hangar, members of the flight crew make their way to their fighters to refuel them and perform any required maintenance on the starfighters or their astromechs.

The Equinox fell out of hyperspace above Corellia, and immediately noticed quite a problem. There was a fleet protecting the planet. However, this could work to their advantage. Roark pulled he communications headset off the dashboard and put it on. He took a breath before hailing the ship. “Corellian Defense Force ship Eurybia, this is corvette Equinox requesting permission to dock at the CEC shipyards. Our ship is in dire need of repairs and we were attacked by a First Order Cruiser, which may be in pursuit.”

CDF Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer, The Eurybia - Bridge
CDF Maj Gen Lilia Herriton, standing behind her comms officer as the Crusader-class corvette that had been picked up by the Eurybia's sensors shortly after it had emerged from hyperspace contacts her Star Destroyer, arches an eyebrow as the Equinox winds up its request to dock at the CEC shipyards for repairs with the revelation that it had been attacked by a First Order cruiser that could very well still be hunting for it.
"Have them hold their position and standby, Lilia informs her comms officer calmly, while we scan them to verify the damage and check for contraband. Run their transponder codes against BoSS, CorSec, and other law enforcement agency databases to see if any red flags come up. See if there is any record of who owns the corvette, and run their name against the law enforcement databases as well. Ask them where, why and when they ran afoul of the First Order. Turning to her XO, she tells the female Togruta, Contact the rest of the fleet, apprise them of the situation and have them go on high alert. Have a trio of X-wings prepped to launch. If the scan and record checks come back clear, the X-wings will escort them to the CEC shipyards."
With a nod, the comms officer opens a channel to the Equinox and says, Slow to dead slow ahead, hold position and standby for clearance, Equinox. As the comms officer continues speaking, the Eurybia's sensor operator scans the Crusader-class corvette, and Lilia walks over to watch as the results of the scan begin to come in. The Eurybia's XO, moving to another comm operator's station, has Lilia's orders sent to the other ships comprising Corellia's orbital defense fleet. Please advise as to why, where and when you were attacked by the First Order cruiser, Equinox. Over.
In the Eurybia's hangar, three X-wing pilots head for their starfighters as the deck crew finishes fueling them and moving their astromechs into their sockets.
The Thyia and Keres, the CDF Pellaeon-class Star Destroyers patrolling with their support ships over Coronet and the planet's northern hemisphere respectively, go on high alert once informed of the possibility of a First Order incursion, both sending additional X-wings out to extend their patrol zones. Corellia's two Cardan III-class space stations are also apprised of the situation, and go on high alert as well.

CDF Pellaeon-class Star Destroyer, The Eurybia - Bridge
CDF Maj Gen Lilia Herriton chuckles to herself with a shake of her head when the Equinox's captain amusingly claims that the First Order had attacked the ship because of its cargo of 'valuable carbonite slabs', which, she supposes, is a really a euphemism for whatever it is that she assumes the crew had appropriated from somewhere in First Order territory. As the ship and its crew have no outstanding warrants with any of the law enforcement agencies on friendly terms with the CDF, Lilia sees no reason to detain the vessel or its crew, and so tells her comms operator to have the ship follow the X-wings that she ordered be sent to escort the Crusader-class corvette to the CEC shipyards, and then has the comms operator notify the shipyards of the situation along with a suggestion that they ensure their security teams keep a close eye on the vessel's crew in the event they are not content to confine their illicit activities to only First Order targets.
CEC Shipyards - Maintenance Bay THX 1138
Sahak Ozanian, a portly male Besalisk dressed in a grease and sweat stained CEC mechanic's coverall, waves with one of his four arms while wiping two of his other hands with a grease stained rag that makes the effort nearly moot as the Equinox sets down inside the maintenance bay while the CDF X-wings that had escorted it to the shipyards turn about in the distance outside of the bay to begin their return journey to the Eurybia's hangar.
Waiting at the foot of the Crusader-class corvette's boarding ramp for its crew to disembark, Sahak rumbles in a gravelly voice when someone finally emerges, giving the canned portion of his welcoming speech in a friendly tone, "Welcome ta the CEC shipyards. What can I do you's for today?"
