Von sighed to himself, if the answers he needed was just within his reach then answering the mans questions would be that big of a deal. Though he didn't understand why the man was so suspicious. He was after all the one was asking all the questions in the beginning. Leaning back in his chair and pulling out his dagger and stuck it into the table. Next he reached up and unclasped his cloak from around his neck and let the cloak fall to the ground. Now Von was 16 in age but his physique was that of a highly active athletic. Scars could be seen running down his chest and arms, scars that ran down his spin and stomach. Some even came up to his neck, Von looked at the man before him and spoke with a even tempered voice.
Tell me Siegfried, how was your childhood growing up. Did you have a mommy and daddy that loved you, you promised to take care of you. Did you have a nice home to live in and not have to worry about whether or not you would get rained on at night. Well when your born into a world of hate you learn pretty quick to survive. I was born on Korriban, my mother died giving birth to me. As for my father well I don't know much about him except that he was Sith. An the only reason I know that much is because the man who took care of me made sure to beat that into me as he drank his anger and sorrows away. Always blaming me for the death of my mother. So you can imagine when to his surprise I had no hesitation in killing him in cold blood with the very sword you see before you. For 11 years I was beaten and kicked always blaming me for a death I had no intention of committing. I can't tell you whether or not I enjoyed killing that man but I don't regret it either. So for five years I had to live off the land, and if you haven't ever been to Korriban let me explain it to in how it was. Nature breeding monsters designed to hunt and kill you, be it in the night or in the day. The weather was always against you, so you had to learn quickly how to survive. I have always been able to adapt to my surroundings, I learned basic at an early age but when I when I was on my own for five years I didn't need to use it. Besides I memorized how you move your jaw and tongue every time you pronounce-ate a word. As for why I am here well that's simple I only had enough money for a ticket to Felucia. So before you go and judge me on how I act and what I have done.Von grabbed the dagger and stood up from the chair and pointed the dagger at the man before him. His scars could be now very visible, in total ranging from big to small he had a total number of 25 scars on his chest and back alone. Maybe you should try and survive what I have, You are nothing but higher class man who couldn't last a day on planet like Korriban with just your bare hands as weapons.
He didn't like bringing up his past, but it was the only way that made sense in explaining his situtation. He would have to find another way in the future, angry from his memories and recounting his times with Tryiel the man who blamed him for his mothers death. His emotions started collide against each other like raging storm, Von wasn't moving but the air around him was getting dense causing it to get heavier and heavier around him. Von was unaware that he was doing this, let alone using the force. Von clenched his fist and little by little the air in the room returned to normal until it was as it was before. Blood dripping down Von's fingertip's, wiping away the blood onto his pants he returned back to his seat and leaned his head back against the chair. He did not look at the man but only towards the ceiling.
So did you get the answer's you wanted or is there more you want from me.

Siegfried was quiet for a moment as he took in Von's story, not needing the Force to sense his anger and pain. And who could blame the teenager for thinking like this? Korriban was hardly a hospitable environment, let alone a place to raise a family. Obviously Von had suffered much, not that Siegfried's early life had been much easier. Still, there was the way the Knight had grown up and then there was Von's life...Siegfried was hardly a "high class", but his life's hardships paled in comparison to Von's. But now he knew why Von was taking he actions he was, and with that knowledge, came understanding.
The Knight was silent while Von's rage seemed to fill the air, but he didn't flinch or move from his seat, opting to silently wait for him to regain control of himself. That had been quite a story, and yet despite everything that had happened to Von, here he was. The Force was strong with him, and he wondered if the young man was aware of that, though it was probably that latent Force sensitivity that had allowed him to survive such a harsh environment. But as for his questions, and his motivations for finding the Sith, he wasn't sure about those but pushing the matter further may just result in more ranting...
Siegfried slowly got up from his seat and crossed his arms. "Just one last question, and then I will ask no more of you." He paused a moment to clear his throat. "You're free from your life on Korriban, from your father. Now that you are, what is it that you wish to do with your life now?" His tone no longer carried any of the earlier suspicion or confrontation.

His tone no longer carried any of the earlier suspicion or confrontation. Von sighed he was done with questions, he was done with this man and he was done with this planet. But all of that meant nothing at the current moment. For he was sitting before the man and he was to tired to care.My entire life I have always wanted to know who my father was, but over the years as I have had to kill more and more to survive. I have come to the realization that I am not the one to blame. It is my father, so it would seem only right to find him and kill him. But seeing as I have no idea who he is well I will just have to start by killing each and every member of the Sith until I am assured that they are dead. It seems like the only logical way in my situation to make sure my father is dead. But I first have to know what the Sith is.

Revenge...Siegfried should have expected no less from one like Von, though if he was going to try and kill every Sith in the galaxy, he may as well be throwing his life away. The Jedi had been fighting the Sith for countless centuries and no side had ever truly got rid of the other, though Von likely wouldn't be interested in a history lesson at this point. Still there had to be better ways of identifying Von's father then just going on a Sith killing spree, and Siegfried wasn't about to send the young man to his death solely for the sake of revenge. On the other hand, he really didn't think he had much right to stop Von from leaving. He wasn't a student here and seemed to show little interest in becoming one.
His eyes narrowed again. "So...you would become the hunter...you are certainly doom driven if that is what you desire. The Sith are...not so easily destroyed." He uncrossed his arms. "If you go after them, they will destroy you. Or enslave you."

Von grinned and reached into his cloak and pulled out a cloth made from animal skin. Rummaging in the bag he looked for something to show the man. Once he found it he pulled out three large serated teeth each from a different animal. He tossed it to the man and then tossed the bag at his feet, where horns and teeth fell out of the bag.
Do you know what the number one threat on Korriban is...its a Terentatek. They are always around and their always angry, so if I can handle one or two I am sure I can handle a few members of the sith. Or are you offering me another way of finding my father.

Von walked around the man looking him up and down trying to get a read on him, he saw a strange hilt on the man but no blade. He wondered what it was but didn't stop to ask. Von looked at the mans wrists and forearms, he could see that the man went under some heavy training to obtain the muscles in his wrists. He also took notice that this man was a sword fighter, probably do to the strange sword hilt on his side. He was curious if this man was as good with his sword as he was a quick talker, but then again it could be just talk and look. He had met some merchants like that back on Korriban. Drawing his sword Von raised it up to the man's neck, not in hostility but more of a beckoned call to fight. If he could take on a Jedi then surely he could kill a Sith, what was the difference in the two.
Lets make this conversation a bit more interesting shall we, I am in need of a work out and you want to see if I can stand toe to toe with a Sith. A man is a man in the end, to have ones head removed will kill you just as fast as blaster to the head. To remove a limb makes you just as vulnerable as to go into a fight unprepared. So I'll make you a bet, if I can disarm you then I get your sword and an honest answer to any question I ask you. Even if that means the location of the Sith, but if you win. I will give you my sword and I will see what the Jedi have to offer. So what do you say Siegfried.

Johun entered the dining hall, and instantly knew he had come to the right place. As he entered he saw, what could only be the person he was looking for. He took a moment to visually assess the boy. He appeared to be a teenager, and dark. Johun could feel him from here. But it wasn't refined yet. There was still hope for him. Johun approached the boy and the Jedi he was speaking to, catching the end of the boys statement, and his challenge.
I'll accept your terms, if he won't.
Johun bowed slightly to both men, but focused of the boy.
Jedi Knight Johun Starfield. And you would be?

Von looked at the new man who just entered the room, this man had no problem butting into someone else's conversation. But He wanted to a fight and if one man wasn't going to get it he would go and get it from someone else. Dropping his sword down he looked around the room this was of course no place for duel. He saw another place that would be perfect on his way in. Come with me, I think I know of a place that would better suit this fight.Motioning the newcomer to follow him.

*Aerandir and Bix arrived in the dining area, leading Knight Grai'Tal. There weren't too many patrons at the moment, and the hall was mostly empty. Aerandir wasn't particularly hungry, but he decided to take a small amount of food anyway, Bix following his example. Aerandir offered the Knight to help himself to whatever, then went to a table. When all were seated, he spoke.* I hope you understand the caution we took at first; it's not every day a ship with the imperial emblem appears in our hangar. Never can be too careful, especially with dark days upon us. *He leaned back and sighed. He hadn't yet heard the full reports, but he knew that the new Mandalore himself was leading this assault, and against a fully-mobilized force of Mandalorians, well, that was nothing to sneeze at. While he pondered this, Bix leaned forward, clearing his throat slightly and addressing the Knight.* Apologies for my rudeness. Name's Bix. I'm just here to make sure nothing happens to this guy. *He patted Aerandir on the shoulder, causing the man to chuckle softly and sit up.* Again, precautions, but he's a close friend of mine, so he was the quickest to volunteer to accompany me.

Unlike his companions Panno took a large helping of food, steamed vegetables and a small helping of meat. Idly he wondered what type it was as they went to the table, nothing save for deadly animals resided on this planet as far as he knew. Mouth watering he took a bite and savored the flavour. It was his first real meal in days and although the force could sustain him it did not have the same feeling as real food. I understand what with Order 66 giving rise to the original Empire but believe me when I say those days are long gone. Even if they were still a thing you and me, your friend over there pointing to Bix with the fork we need to stick together against this juggernaut.
Nodding his understanding he took another bite of the mystery meat gathering his thoughts as he ate swallowing he continued his talking. I understand perfectly, you need to watch each others backs these days friends or not. I have to ask though, this is a Jedi Praxeum is it not? How has this place survived being here on Felucia? I mean this place is teeming with plants I could only just imagine, and any wild life that is here has got to be tough. Now one of those records he had pulled up from space were the reports of Starkiller nearly 150 years (to some) old. They indicated Rancors, really dangerous natives and a huge Sarlacc, plus he was also asking to find out if the meat was native.

*Order 66... something that need not be repeated. Something the Jedi would be prepared to stand against should something similar happen again. In a way, it was what the Mandalorians were attempting, but weren't stopping with the Jedi. Where would that lead? Hopefully nowhere, and the threat was little more than a small outburst. But if it came to more than that... Well, Knight Grai'Tal was right; the many followers of the Force would have to stand together.
Not since the Plague War had something like that had to happen.
Fortunately, the conversation was moving to a lighter subject, mainly how the base had survived surrounded by the dangerous wilderness of the jungle. Aerandir had to actually smile, glad to feel a bit more relaxed in conversation.* My guess is diligence and the original founders scouted a good location. We're generally undisturbed and thankfully nowhere near too close to nests of the more dangerous predators, namely rancors or acklays. We have guards on lookout at all times, not just for creatures but to supervise anyone who may be just outside the base. Though generally speaking, the entire jungle isn't dangerous. It's actually quite calm and peaceful around this area. Relatively; on occasion a predator or other beast might show up, but never anything truly dangerous. *He'd considered adding something about Morgan's safe ventures through the jungle, but decided that would warrant way too long of an explanation, especially on a complete stranger Aerandir had still yet to fully gauge, and instead made a more general comment.* Besides, with enough diligence, means of self-defense, and most importantly a comrade or two, the jungle's not so bad once you get used to it. *Aerandir then glanced down at the man's plate and smirked.* If you're wondering about the meat, it's mostly imported, there aren't too many native creatures worth farming for food, though if it comes to that I could always consult the native Felucians in the jungle. Primitive as they may be, they manage to make rancor meat actually enjoyable, though I'd prefer to stick to more traditional meats...

Panno listened and was actually impressed. Much of his led had been spent on Aaragu training with the other nights. Although there were still parts of the planet that were wild much of it was city. One such city being where he trained the majority of the time. I have to say it really is something. Excluding a few forays to dead planets I've only seen the city. Even the training area is in the middle of New Escrow. Even having a small glade and an artificial stream doesn't beat this. Waving his hands around he indicated the planet, the beauty and the open spaces. In the city everything was done to conserve space, even if the "temple" was spacious in comparison to other buildings. I could spend my whole life on worlds like this and never get bored.
At the words of companion he simply nodded, it was something foerign to him. Being one of only a dozen aliens in his order everyone was standoffish towards them. Even the other non humans seemed to avoid one another. One of those old hatreds that had persisted through every reincarnation. Xenophobia. Snapping back into the conversation Panno again tried to keep it light. So what is there here that you Jedi do to pass the time?

*Aerandir nodded and smiled at the praise Knight Grai'Tal gave to the planet. Felucia truly was a beautiful and dangerous planet, and he again thought of Morgan when Grai'Tal mentioned he could spend his whole life on planets like this without getting bored. He couldn't resist a chuckle and a quick comment during the pause.* Sounds like my daughter. *Knight Grai'Tal then asked how they passed the time on the world, as Jedi. Whether "you Jedi" was a casual conversation term or an intentional distinction, as though curious about the actual differences in activities between Imperial Knights and Jedi. It was merely a curious thought though, and nothing more.* Well, here specifically? Various things. Teach, train, hold council, maintain the place, meditate, study, venture out into the jungle or one of the cities, keep in contact with other worlds, do inspections, or simply spend time with the family. *Hopefully that covered about everything. Bix, though, had one other, muttered addition.* Or wrangling kids... *Aerandir laughed, though didn't feel the need to explain. Luckily Shells wasn't around right now; Bix needed to be relaxed, and Aerandir didn't want to risk running the visitor ragged. It was for similar reasons he was glad his daughter Kayla wasn't around either... why hadn't Kayla and Shells made best friends yet?*

Family, daughter and wrangle kids? Those were not what he expected to hear. I thought Jedi were not allowed to have families due to the feelings leading to the dark side. To be fair he had not spent much time learning about the more recent rules that their order had. No he only was trained in the militaristic ways of the Jedi. How to fight them, how to kill them. Just in case they ever attacked the Empire. Perhaps this was his reason for being here, to see the Jedi as less of a threat and more like friends. This would be a hell of a place to raise one thats for sure, somewhere for them to be Iraek shaking his head he closed his eyes sorry I mean happy.
It was an old habit of his that try as they might his masters could not break him of. The language of the Imperial Knights was Basic, however he spoke Dresellian when he joined. Now years later and however many beatings after the words would still slip through. Even now he could feel the whip on his back.
It was plainly visible to the Jedi that he was distressed, but just as suddenly as it happened it disappeared and he was his normal self. The more I hear about this place the more I like it he chuckled if you are not careful you might end up with a new resident.

*He wasn't aware that Jedi no longer forbade families? Curious. Sure, the fear of the potential fall to the dark side was the archaic reasoning for it, but there were also counterpoints to that. But Grai'Tal was right; Felucia was a hell of a place to raise a family. Of course, he hadn't raised his family on Felucia up until recently; they were being raised here now, and he knew Morgan wouldn't have minded being raised here all her life, but he could only imagine what it would've been like to raise them here.* Well, that was the old way. It hasn't been a rule for some time, and even in the old Order it was broken, with knowledge of the Order. Arguably a Master-Padawan relationship was quite close, like a family, so personally I don't see the difference. *He shrugged. Then, when Grai'Tal continued to give praise to the planet, he smiled.* If you let my daughter hear you, you might end up with a new best friend. Although I have to wonder whether you'll hold the same opinion if you were to travel the wilderness itself. Not that I doubt your sincerity, but I've seen other people's first impressions ruined by their first run-in with one of the world's more dangerous predators.

What he was really going for was the love and attachment. Being manipulated like a certain Jedi of the past. However upon hearing things were different and was surprised. Not that they had changed, no good for them. He was surprised that something like this was missing from records in the database. When he returned home he would need to update everything. Everything we have is militaristic in nature. Your Master is your commanding officer not a parent figure. It leads to a much more effective fighting unit. And right there was the fundamental difference. Jedi were guardians of the peace, defenders of justice and only fight when provoked. The polar opposite of the Imperial Knights; until he said that alloud it had never clicked in his mind why they were different.
It would take more than a few Ackly and Rancors to scare this guy. He actually wished to go out and see these beasts in the wild. They were awe inspiring on paper and vids but in person, a thrill. I take it your daughter goes beyond the walls often then. If she enjoys the planet then not much would be able to keep her behind the walls, and if she can face these dangerous beasts then so can I.

*Aerandir was mostly aware of the strict, militaristic structure of Imperial Knights, but he nodded anyway. He did not agree that it led to a more effective fighting unit, however; when a master and apprentice knew each other well, they could build off each other's strengths and weaknesses, anticipate their abilities and lend their support. That was Aerandir's idea of a team, but he was not about to debate training philosophy; this was meant to be a friendly visit.
Knight Grai'Tal then went on to boast that he would likely have no trouble with the jungles of the planet. And perhaps he wouldn't, though his using Morgan as an example was... well, if any other child had such an easy time in the jungle, Aerandir might've agreed, but Morgan was... special. Again though, no need to talk about that quite yet. Instead, he only chuckled.* If you want to see for yourself, I won't stop you, though I'd be willing to at least send an escort with you. *Not Morgan. She was usually a good judge of character but Aerandir still had his reservations, even if she would have the planet, as well as Rush, to protect her. Still, the Dressellian was free to get to know the place... within reason, of course, but he also didn't want him to be thrust into danger; that wouldn't exactly look good on relations, not that Aerandir ever wanted to put a man who could potentially be an ally in any sort of harm's way...*

The Imperial Knight nodded. He was anxious to get out and about. As fun as a starship is, being cramped up for the trip gave him some serious cabin fever. The whole trip he had longed for the open air and walls that were not gray and close. Even this dining area was a nice change of scenery. I can't wait to explore the planet, and this base here. Smiling he arched his left eye brow that is if you trust me enough to walk around. He wasn't stupid, he knew this whole meal was a test of sorts. To find out his intentions, even the offer of a guide could double as a person to keep an eye on him. He didn't blame the Jedi Master. No had their places been reversed he had no doubt the same thing would have been happening.

Serena followed Morgan into the dining hall as they returned from their short trip into the jungle. After grabbing some food and finding an empty table to sit down at, they started digging in. She was quiet as she ate, the task of finishing the meal taking precedence over starting another conversation.
She smiled across at Morgan after she had finished most of her meal."So...where did you get that dress, Morgan? It's really pretty!"She couldn't remember if Morgan had told her about her dress yet or not, but she didn't think so.

*Morgan had initially intended to have a meal that was a little more on the healthy side, but when she learned that it was sandwich day, any plans of that went out the window. Not that sandwiches weren't healthy, but they were also Morgan's favorite thing. There was an artistic measure to them, they were more than just food; Morgan could let her creativity flow just by creating one, and then she could enjoy it and it would be the tastiest thing she had ever eaten.
So she made two, then, after grabbing a plate of bacon for Lokay, joined Serena at a table to dine on this little delicacy of hers. There wasn't much conversation, which was a little surprising, but then maybe Serena was just hungry. Morgan let her eat, and when she finally did speak, it was to ask Morgan about her dress, saying it was really pretty and asking where it was from. Morgan looked down at it, then back up to Serena with a grin.* A Felucian made it for me! I was in the village once and didn't have any clothes, and not because I wanted to be! A friend of mine, well... she stole mine when I didn't have them on and accidentally dropped them in the river and we lost them... so her mother made it for me! I bet if we went again, she could make one for you as well if we asked. *She smiled and took another bite of sandwich, only to notice Lokay was trying to pick the bacon out of it. Morgan giggled; normally she would shoo him away but she let him pull the piece out of her sandwich as she continued eating the rest of it. She loved her sandwiches, and as much as she liked bacon, it honestly wasn't the most important part, so Lokay was safe. For now.*
