“Force-sensitive? Explain. Now. Because how else would you know she was a dead space in the Force?” Her tone made it clear they were going nowhere until all of this was figured out. Because if Rik was actually Force-sensitive, they might have a problem. Force-wielders could read minds. Not that hers was an open book, but there was plenty she wouldn't want him ‘reading’. "You." The fugitive jerked her chin towards Alena, who had clearly just gone through some kind of mental trauma by removing her visor. The effect was lost on Lia, mostly because she knew next to nothing about the Force, but also because Lia just didn't care about whatever inner turmoil was plaguing the girl. She had her own problems. "You can feel the Force? What does it say about him? Is he able to feel it?" "Yes, I can. I choose not to. And obviously he can, too. Is that a problem?"
Her voice had lost the playful quality it once had.. she was all business again. Back to being Alena.
For now.
Inside, Elly Shan was still shaking... An exasperated sigh was his only response for several long moments. Not because of the questions, those were completely valid and to be expected, but because of his own stupidity. Why oh why did I just tell everyone I can feel the force... Because you are an imbecile. He ground his teeth at that particular comment, mostly because he knew it was true right now, and looked up to face Lia's withering glare. "Yes, I can feel it. Where it is, where it's been and where it's supposed to be, but that's it." He raised a hand and waved it around in front of her face. "I can't fuss with your thoughts or throw you across a room like saber boy back there did." A half-truth that would hopefully keep her satisfied for the time being. "Now can we please get mov... What the kriff?" His gaze had shifted, now looking down the hall past Lia and the clever woman at the approaching forms of half a dozen other people. Except he knew they weren't really people. Every single one of them was clearly sporting a wound that should have been fatal, one had lost half an arm, another sported a gaping hole through its abdomen, and the others were in similar states of undeath. "Uh, we should probably go now." He said as he pulled his rifle off his back, readying it for use against whatever the hell these things were.

Bloodshot backpedaled at the initial attack of the new onslaught, pulling his shoulder back far enough that the blade managed to miss his arm, if only just. Pulling the arm back as well, he extended the second gauntlet blade to intercept the high attack, and rotated his torso to catch the low attack on the surface of his abdominal armor. His left hand was not idle while this occurred, retracting the first gauntlet blade and driving a withering blow toward Kaarn's right shoulder, the aim being to either dislocate the limb or shatter the bone entirely. Given the durability the body glove had thus far displayed, Bloodshot had opted to bypass it entirely and adopt a brute force approach, rather than attempt to cut through it with his own blades.

Her motion tracker pinged with slight movement at the same time that the mercenary had shifted his attention. All business now, she clenched her left hand into a fist, a flurry of sparks dancing from the cybernetic emitters embedded into her hand, as she whirled around.
Upon seeing what was approaching them, and realizing just what she was in for.. She regretted the fact that she seemed to be close combat oriented. Damn, she missed her old armour.
"That.. would not be a bad idea."
She kept her hand clenched, just in case one of the things decided to speed up, although she doubted that that would do anything to slow them down much. Still, better safe than sorry..

“Ugh!” She growled in annoyance as she looked over her shoulder, bringing her E-11 to bear on the approaching group as Alena’s left had made fireworks. “How many people are on this fucking thing?!”
Then she saw one of them was missing half its torso.
…Okay. Well. Lia didn’t need any more information than that. No need for more words. She raised her rifle, took aim, and put a few bolts in the head of the closest newcomer. Adrenaline kicked in, sharp clarity focusing the scene before her. Suddenly dealing with the Sith seemed like the better option. A couple grenades might have cleared the creatures away easy enough, but given the state of the ship, it would probably collapse the whole hallway and kill them in the process, too. Lia threw Rik a quick glance. "Please tell me you have a gadget for this!" she yelled.

"This one should do the trick." Raising his rifle to his shoulder, he sighted in on the nearest creature and squeezed the trigger, holding it down for a good four seconds as a stream of coherent lightning burned through his target's chest, then arced through two more before grounding in the far wall. When the beam hit them, the creatures went suddenly rigid and twitchy as their nervous systems were burned out of their bodies from the sheer level of current, then slumped to the floor in a lifeless heap. Or at least a heap that appeared to be lifeless. "Yup. Looks like it works." He followed up with another burst, sending the remaining three to the floor in spasms before finally lying still. "Now lets hurry up and find something valuable before more of them show up."

This wasn't the first time she had seen the dead brought back. This wasn't the first time she had seen people walking around in various states of disarray and dismemberment. The first time was in person, the second was on the HoloNet. Both of them had been caused by the Corruption.. her creation. She grimaced internally, but there was no real time to focus on her past mistakes right now.
She kept her electricity emitters primed and readied her armour's energy emitters, just in case. The entities seemed still.. for now.
Ironic that he was using lightning to bring them down.. That was the Corruption's weakness too..
"I don't know what the two of you are here for, but I'm pretty sure that this ship would have some valuable info in its databanks. Any takers?"

Since the jedi fled like a coward Kahzak decided to follow the two from earlier. Kahzak turned on his heel and slashed the door three times with his lightsaber creating a triangle then force pushed it all the way through. He stepped through and put his saber away before he began to move again. As he sprinted through the hallway after them he saw something quite peculiar. The mercenary from before was frying what looked like living corpses with lightning. There were now two women standing behind him, he was obviously the leader or protector. Deciding that it would be better to help them and make some allies since his earlier attempts were futile he ran forward so that he was to the right of the mercenary and used the force to throw a shockwave knocking the creatures of their feet. Igniting his double bladed saber he said "Maybe you want to reconsider the offer rom before, my saber may be of help in this situation." He kept his eyes on the creatures the entire time he acknowledged the man, and once the mercenary responded he would act in kind.

Emma had managed to find the vent shaft that ran right across the hallway that Rik, Lia, and Alena were all gathered in just as Alena had taken off her visor, not that she felt anything different since she couldn't sense the force, but she did arrive at another vent and caught the tail end of the conversation as Alena put the visor back on. She kept watching out of the viewport as a few moments later a small group of infected started coming along the hallway, causing Emma to almost jump out of the hallway and tell them to run, only to stop a few seconds later as the man in the mask fired a lightning gun, and took care of the problem.
Well, if she didn't want to go with them before, she definitely wanted to stick close to them now, since one of them had a way of felling these things relatively easily. Suddenly, however, her thoughts were interrupted as she heard a creaking noise, before the entire section of vent callapsed out of the roof, Emma quickly tucking her feet beneath her, a bit more prepared this time, as she landed on the ground amid the crumbling wreckage of the vent, quickly raising her hands before someone shot her by accident or something please dont shoot... I know what those things are...

Kaarn had had enough of this glorified kata. It was good training and the man packed a punch, but he had places to go, people to kill. Feinting left, the Hunter moved right, dodging outside the attack which would have been... seriously detrimental to his shoulder. Such was the force and commitment behind that attack that it fully extended the other Hunter's left arm, opening Bloodshot's left side and shoulder blade to Kaarn, but instead of piercing with one of his swords, the young Nagai dropped the weapons and in the same instant, grabbed two small round patches from his belt, slapping one adhesive disc onto Bloodshot's shoulder plating, the other onto the area over his left kidney. Finishing his touch attack with a second sweep kick in hopes of destabilizing his opponent, the assassin found the hilt of one sword within easy reach, and retrieved it before diving into a somersault away from the masked man.
Coming up from his dive / roll a half-dozen feet away, he sliced through a 270-degree arc in case Bloodshot had been fool enough to follow, and came to rest facing back from whence he came. Right hand holding the sword at the ready, left hand hovering over his web belt and the holster containing his second DC-15s.

Lia yelped as the vent lurker crashed to the floor next to her. Again. “Would you quit doing that!!” she snapped, loosening her trigger finger at the last moment. She trained her blaster away from the girl, trying to slow her heart-rate down. On edge? Well, yeah, they were running around on a ghost ship full of infected undead things and a whole ‘lotta people looking to make a profit on something. “Wait, you know what those are?” Lia pointed at the creatures littering the floor a few paces away. “I don’t really care what they are, as long as they die. But how do you—“
The door blew open behind them, and the Sith stalked through, double blades lit and ready.
Oddly enough, Lia was pleased to see him (although she’d nearly shot him again on instinct), but you’d never guess it from her sour expression. Alena had mentioned a database information mine. Lia didn't give two fucks about salvage anymore, she just wanted off this floating house of horrors, but Rik? Rik probably wasn't gonna to leave empty-handed, and if they were gonna group up to find this shit, having a lightsaber at the front of the line was preferable.
But, she wasn't the boss here. “Rik?” The fugitive sent the masked gadget-master a look that clearly said I-Am-Rapidly-Approaching-My-Wits-End-Here. “Put Sithy Duel-Blades in front and let’s haul ass. All of us, yes, including you, Vent Crawler,” she said sharply, hauling the girl on the floor to her feet and giving her a shove towards Alena. “At least this way I don’t need to worry about you falling on my head anymore.” God, she hated groups. She had half a mind to ditch the lot of them and wait back on the ship. Their fates weren't her responsibility. She didn't owe them anything. Except maybe Rik. But one look at the ‘dead’ dead-ish things on the ground and she knew she wouldn't get far without Rik’s rifle.

Rather than chase his opponent across the room, Bloodshot stopped and did the only smart thing he could in that moment. Ripped the two adhesive disks off his armor and hurled them back at their owner, with the assumption that they were an explosive of some kind. He followed that action by pulling a pair of grenades from his bandolier, tossing one to Kaarn's right and through the door into the computer core and dropping the other just in front of the Nagai. They would both detonate on impact, though perhaps detonate isn't the right word to use. "Erupted" would be more suitable as they spewed their gaseous contents into the air, quickly engulfing the entirety of both rooms. Spore/B stun grenades, and neither the jedi nor the Nagai were wearing a breather, which meant that Bloodshot would be the only one to remain unaffected.

Geez... You just can't get rid of these people. They do seem to be quite insistent. I suggest you hurry though, I can feel more of those... things approaching With a dissatisfied huff, Rik set off down the corridor, keeping his rifle raised and his eyes peeled for these impending "things". "You heard the lady. You're up front with me, blade-boy. Sparkle-fingers and blondie, you take the rear. Malora, get behind me and stay there." SInce the assumed name had worked so well before, and he was unsure what Lia would do if he used her real name, he decided to stick to it for now as the group formed up around him and set off.

The Nagai was shocked to see the shaped charges come back at him. That hadn't been expected. Catching them, he couldn't help but check to see what had gone wrong, but no, he was just that strong. By then, it was too late.
Gas. The cannister landed at his feet, spewing forth its contents. His EVA-lock was damaged, and he hadn't brought an emergency vacuum mask, which he silently cursed himself for as he took as deep a breath as he could, turned and ran through the door into the Secondary Computer core mainframe room. There wasn't much time. He slapped the first shaped-charge onto the computer core, and threw the second against the far bulkhead. Ducking behind a row of ruined terminals and rubble, he activated the charges...

Making his way through the ship with no undue haste, Atuna headed in the direction of the signal that he had originally been told to go, in order to find the wayward Jedi Master that had hailed him. In one corridor he spotted the man, off in the distance, and passed him on his way out. It did not take him long to figure out why, as a disturbance shook his mind's eye, giving him a vision. The Venator racing to an unsuspecting world, millions die, a wound in the planet. In the immediate future, however, there was a Sith presence nearby, and he was not happy with Jedi.
"Aidan, Kessler, go to the engine room. Stop this vessel from ever flying again. I'm going ahead to deal with something."
Both men nod and disappear into the interior of the ship. Atuna stepped forward down one hallway, then another, until he saw down yet another a Sith negotiating with a bounty hunter and two young women. Surprised, Atuna also noticed dead bodied, only recently dead but long since having started the decomposition process. Zombies? Maybe. It did not matter; he was here to help the living. Igniting both sabers in his hands, Atuna stepped forward and shouted down the hallway.
"Excuse me, sir! Are you harassing these people? I'd very much like to know."

Bloodshot made it as far as the room's entrance before the bombs went off, ripping a hole in the far bulkhead and reducing the secondary computer core to slag. Whatever may have been stored there was no longer going to be of use to anyone, and for a brief moment the mercenary considered sticking around to put a slug through the Nagai's head for the trouble he'd caused. He discarded the notion, however, and instead opted to try another approach. He'd already been to the primary data core, it was the first place he'd gone when he arrived, and the meager amount of data he was able to pull from its half-destroyed corpse didn't tell him very much. Thankfully, though, it had told him enough that he could deduce another way to achieve his employer's objective. All he had to do was capture one of those test subjects the reports had mentioned and bring it back with him.
Ignoring the hunter for now, who was still crouched beneath the row of terminals, he moved across the room and climbed into the hole, stopping halfway through to look back as a draft through the hole began to vent the room. "Don't follow me, or next time I'll finish what you started." Then he stepped the rest of the way through and vanished from sight. Now to find one of those subjects....

Kahzak was in front of the group trying to keep these things off the Mercenary. As more and more poured at him he used his double bladed saber to cut anything that came close to ribbons. As yet another one stepped forward he spun it in an arc and decapitated it following through and spinning taking the head off another. More followed suit and he used a continuous pattern of circular slashes with the double bladed saber to keep the creatures at a distance. He was still being pushed back, and the farther they were pushed the more of these things that seemed to come.
As they began to overwhelm his defences Kahzak used the force to throw one creature back into the group of others. He backflipped and landed on one knee beside the mercenary. He used the force to continuously push the creatures backwards and keep them away from the mercenary. "Blast them" Hearing the new voice he looked up to see a jedi. Dammit now of all times. Rising once more Kahzak ignored the man and went back to hacking at whatever undead were left after the mercenary was done.

Emma gave a curt nod as the woman questioned whether she knew what the infected were or not, quite thankful that the pistol wasn't pointing at her anymore, gratefully accepting the woman's help standing up a couple moments later, before making sure to not run into the tri-coloured haired woman when she was pushed towards her. She gave a nod to Rik as she moved towards the back of the group with Alena, thinking them crazy for wanting to continue on in the ship, but hey, there was safety in numbers, as she unholstered her pistol With regards to your question before, I do know what they are, and let's just say, blaster pistols aren't all that effective... They'll slow em down, but that lightning gun is the only thing that'll really do the job right now... Emma then turned towards the direction from which a new voice had come, gun pointing and ready to shoot, whilst still trying to figure out who the new arrival was addressing, though judging by the fact he said sir and was holding a pair of lightsabers, she assumed he meant the Sith that was with them, and not Rik

"Sparkle-fingers, huh?" She raised an eyebrow, then shrugged. She had been called worse. What he called his companion, though... "Malora"...
She had met a Malora, a while back, while she was still Eliana Shan. That meeting.. could have been better. This girl didn't look anything like her, though. Perhaps a coincidence? Still, it was something she was going to keep in the back of her mind.
She had no problem staying at the back with the blonde woman who kept falling out of vents. Lightning crackled in her fist, and a wry smirk lit her face. She had faced odds like this before. And, as she thought about it, she realized.. She was enjoying this. It was bringing back her past, and that wasn't necessarily a bad thing..
"Lightning does tend to have that effect on this sort of thing. Nice suit, by the way," she said, regarding the blonde woman.

Atuna, confused, finally managed to spot the other creatures being dealt with in the other room. Noticing this, and also noticing the Sith was assisting in killing them, he decided to ignore them for now and watch his own back, hoping that whatever aid these people needed, or whatever defense needed to be stood, could wait until everyone was immediately safe.--- Deeper in the ship, Aidan and Kessler move with haste, avoiding contact with anything and anyone they can detect, using their high-tech armor and equipment. Anytime a conflict would arise, they duck to stealth and wait or using tactics to avoid it. Their progress was slow, but they would arrive in the engine room soon.

Descending through the turbolift shaft was an eerie experience for the Mando'ade. The first few decks that they reached were almost totally silent. However, just as they were reaching Deck D, a large explosion sounded from one of the decks below, and the entire shaft shook for what probably wasn't more than thirty seconds, but felt like hours. Small pieces of debris began to rain down on them from above, and the creaking and groaning of stressed metal increased. As the safety doors for the Deck D lift entrance came into view, the commandos could see that both doors had been literally ripped from their hinges and bent inward, partially blocking the shaft.
=Smith= I think this is our exit. The lead man commented, adjusting his jetpack to hover just above the ruined portal. Something bad's happening beneath our feet, and I don't want to be in a narrow metal tube when the next piece of osik gives out and blows its top.
=Colt= Agreed. Move out and secure the corridor. Colt replied from Smith's left. There was a somber tone in his voice. If I'm not mistaken, that explosion was very close to the central computer.
=Remy= Well that's no go--
=Smith= Shhh, I hear something. The commando was standing on the lip of the Deck D lift portal now, leaning slightly out into the space beyond. The hallway was several meters wide, and all along its length, tubing of various kinds hung from the ceiling and bulkheads, venting at least three colors of steam, although none were anything more than faint wisps at this point. The star destroyer's internal systems, at least in this area, were too far gone. He took two soft steps forward onto solid ground, then motioned silently for his comrades to follow him out into the corridor.
=Wesson= Wesson shot the gap and flew out into the middle of the hallway, then landed and swung his headlamp to the left. There was a puddle of coolant to his right, and two meters ahead, the passageway took a sharp bend. Shouldering his blaster, he took his ripper sidearm from its holster, then, walking on near-silent feet, he slid along the wall, and peered around the corner with one eye. A large man in full body armor was barely ten meters away.
Halt Wesson exclaimed, using his tongue switch to toggle to external comm. Who are you? He demanded of Bloodshot. Then his eyes widened as a one-armed man-thing loomed up out of the darkness beyond the coolant pool and charged straight at him. The Mandalorian's attention quickly shifted, squeezing off two shots to the chest of his new attacker. The creature gurgled and was momentarily thrown backward, but then rushed forward again, as Wesson stared in horror, slowly realizing that the ... thing ... was a corpse, and his slugthrower hadn't really bothered it very much.
=Remy= Running up behind his vod, the trigger-happy commando fired off four shots from his blaster rifle in quick succession. The first blew the zombie's left leg off at the hip, the second removed the top of his skull, the third the entire head, and the fourth found no target as the corpse splattered everywhere. Instead, it ignited the pool of coolant, which burned with a creepy green light.
In the light of the blaze, as they formed a semi-circle around the turbolift entrance, Colt and his squad saw six more of the infected dead men rushing forward from a jagged hole ripped in the opposite side of the corridor. With a stranger to their left, a horde of undead straight ahead, a thousand-meter fall at their backs, and unknown darkness to their right (Smith's glowrod couldn't penetrate far enough to see anything except empty hallway), they resigned themselves to a fight.
