May I suggest a hover tank battle in Algarine? That sounds good to me. I'll have the forces that are going out there now move in just after you leave. They will see the evidence of a conflict and the containment field that held Kya, and then move to intercept you in the city. |

Oh and Dred has a post in Rhyloth orbit to look into at some time, if you're still interested. Sure, I'll look into it. Seems the other side lost interest. With the Mando attacks on Yavin, I think they consider us a minor irritation. |

Real - check - badass - check - normals - uh, I want a second opinion on that.
Arkan is a house-sized cyborg death dealer
Dred is a house-sized Mandalorian death knight
Kraval is a sane Mandalorian death knight
Major - I don't think she'll even register as superhuman
Gukky, normal, sane, but disqualified for being amoral.
Fia's probably as close as it comes to being normal among us. As if talking to your pets is normal. But then again, Major does that too. In my prognosis, Fia is on a slippery slope..

I've thrown up a post on Ryloth to get that moving. Jace Stealer, I'm waiting on Fia to reply before I "address" your actions on Algara. I'll have a post for Kuat done tomorrow and I even have an idea of where we can go next. Though we're definitely not starting that until we finish at least one of these SL's, maybe even two or all of them!
Also, I have noticed the topic of "First Mate" come up a couple of times and I'm planning a way to choose between you. I had two ideas and wondered what you guys thought about them.

Y'know, you really know how to present alternatives. They're all equally terrible ... terribly wonderful. I'd love to do all of them. So much so, that I've done a teaser for each.
NPC first mate = bowel disruptor = prolapse = win
I'd love to fight Fia - I'll need be a dog-whisperer and a shrink at the same time to beat her. Abandonment, daddy and personality dissociation issues wrapped in a loincloth. Its all part of a days work.
The Major v Gukky fight - 32 pieces, 64 squares, three days and no toilet break. It's as extreme as chess gets.
Dred? Karval? Can I use Flo?
The free-for-all will be a mess, with Dred and Kraval teaming up, Fia not posting, Major cloaking and Gukky running away. Several weeks will go by - Kraval will be hit with the bowel disruptor, Dred rips Gukky in half as he does, giving Major a cheap shot with her homing bullet, Fia will resurface in time to tear Major's throat out. It's no fair. Fia has this one in the bag for sure.

So far it was just me and Major making the suggestions....OOC that is. I don't know how serious she is about it, but Dred was going to kill the First Mate anyways. The reason? Dred calls for a quick sweep up of Arkan and Fia, knowing trouble is coming and the First Mate denies the request because he says "I'm first mate" "I only take orders from him" Which makes Dred, Kraval, Major and our new comrade Kya come to the rescue. A hover tank battle will ensue and Kraval will get to use one of the newly "acquired" Basilisk war droids and fuck shit up. Once we get on board of the Cutlass or whatever new name you have in store, Dred caps his ass. As for the fight for First Mate, Major definitely has the advantage. I'm not familiar with what her powers do, but they are easily dispatched with a ysalamiri. Which is the diet of the Vonskr if do recall. Dred just has to make sure to use it to dispatch Major before the Vonskr dispatches the meal. xD Oh and he'll have to do it in an enclosed space so trying to flank Dred is out of the question.

I'm not laughing, I'm just making the noises in a flat tone, FYI.
As if a battle royale would prove anyone was capable of being a first mate. Odds can be turned by thousands of variables in any single battle. A first mate should be a model of consistency -lethal, yes, but above all things, loyal yet viewing the captain's perspective from a different angle.
Really, if you think about, there is only one person in this crew with extensive experience in being an executive officer; one person whose job it was to be a first mate -in many respects.
I hope this crew carries broccoli in the commissary.

Major you have a point. I believe the First Mate should be feared and respected, second only to the Captain. The only reason the captain should be involved in anything is to dictate to the First Mate to carry out his orders. Normally on a ship one would only see the Captain if there was some type of example to be made or the ship was under attack. The First Mate does everything else. Thus if there is any success to any mutiny, just an example, it only has success if the First Mate sees that it does. Besides we should let the crew have a vote to see whom should be First Mate. Unless the Captain says otherwise. Should we take a vote?
